#Hatsune Miku #VOCALOID #or rather #piapro characters #Hatsune Miku Single String Ver.#<- yep that's the fan module I made for fun last year #the thing is. only half a month to go until it's mid autumn. and every year I try to draw something for the occasion #I just. started early this year... for some reason......#well I mostly just wanna draw Her lmao. because the pokemon/miku voltage stuff is still being released and Im feelin the effect #and this year's magical miral design is so fuckign good.... thank u to miku artists. especially LAM and rella #as is always the case with this module the instrument/weapon (lol) she uses is a heavily stylized đàn bầu!#and I just realized while drawing this and looking at the ref sheets that I never detailed the pluck lmao #to be fair. usually its just like a piece of. anything #commonly bamboo or bone or plastic. shaped into a longish fingernail shape. its really the way u hold it that matters iirc #but yeah I spruced up the OG design for the instrument in this one lol. this is actually like my original vision I think #I really wanted to make that thing beast shaped. but I Just figured out how to properly stylize it when I designed the module #and! I did say this on stream but I am genuinely very proud of that design! that was genuinely big brain of me! so #future instrument variants will still probably base heavily on that general shape and principles lol. I'm playin in this space its MY muck #also I switched the number on her coat from 39 to 01 bc it's more on theme thats really it. nothin else to remark on there lol #and! once again based the dragon head on the lý dynasty dragon rather than later iterations. thats why the nose fin and no whiskers #and the metal nozzle is kinda supposed to call to mind a temple bell. not super sure i got that across well #but the rim design IS historical! I thiiiink early lê dynasty. just on ceramics instead of on bronze lmao #anyways thats it. So turns out I have The Bronchitis..... which is annoying to know I've had something treatable for an entire week. BUT! I'm on the road to recovery now!

Starting yesterday I played some Potion Permit (which I've had purchased for a... while..... and never really played it until yesterday). I named my chemist Adam and he's just a really good boy! I hc him as mute? So like as he diagnoses people and treats them he just kinda. gestures and emotes a lot?

I was talking to someone about it yesterday like "it's so funny how I look at this romance option and go AH YES Dr. Strange. HE HATES ME AND I WILL MAKE HIM THE MOST MISERABLE PERSON ALIVE via friendship." And then I was on the wiki page and saw how the PPermit refers to bachelors/bachelorettes? "Romance Target". It feels like an assassination mark. I'm ready to kill this man with my love and he will hate every second of it.

#dw the art or screenshot isnt bugging out.. its just a boxy brush this time (unsure why i used it but anyway)#i remember when she was the drdt character i drew the most #im now working on restylizing her <3 i miss her SO MUCH ARGH. after this sketch im gonna make some changes #the pony tail was a desperate attempt at making her hair not look like how i stylize my oc's hair :'). ill prolly change it tho #i dont think the ponytail makes a silhouette that “fits” her if that make sense lol... it looks too extra for whatever reason #i love drawing her eyes more squinted so im unsure what the hell i was doing cuz those eyes are NOT squinted at all...#also i forgot that her eyes irises dont touch the bottom of her eye (do i make sense) but usually i draw her irises square-shaped!!!!#ill probably actually delete this later #also i keep HEAVILY debating myself if i should push her ponytail to the right bc its the same as the sprite???#thing is that i have no idea if thats just how drdtdev stylizes ponytails in general or if its a deliberate choice #i know tilting the ponytail is a stylization choice among many people bc some people think its “awkward” making it center #its not like i can ask the dev so im just stuck here confused #if it is a deliberate choice then it could show her “unluckiness” and/or contrast against mai's braid (which is tilted-#to right while teru's tilts to the left). but anyways. im gonna stop yapping now

Cosplay encouraged #Probably at least a little bit of why I was interested in filling out a sheet but not at all with any of the bunnies in the building haha #(Yes I did make the Vargases first shh they'll get their own later) - I had enough to fill the whole page by the end :)#All of these were from memory since these were also emotional cool-down doodles - the power went out while I was working #Which left me with no internet until getting to the library - and then Their power went out so yet more No Internet ugh #Plus I had forgotten that the library has charging stations! Public charging is still a bit of a foreign concept to me #So a half-dead iPod on borrowed half-working wifi - all while I have a perfectly(?) functioning brain and recall! Well-#But I got them close lol I've drawn all of them before and I love them so it's Good Enough!#Starting with Nova from MKR II <3 <3 I love her worst girl so much she makes a cute bunny #Her with a chubby bunny body with her tight-fitting armour looks silly hehe #Bun-Bun was obvious! Especially since I'd drawn her so much so recently #Her eyelashes are almost like whiskers haha - I could definitely see the BBBs doing an animal theme and having matching whiskers #The already-bunnies! The Other obvious choices! Hayden was no big thing since I'd drawn him quite recently too but Chess...#I mean he's close! Just Not Quite y'know lol - he is still cute in his crop-cut spiked leather jacket tho haha #I'm very thankful the library also came stocked with the appropriate coloured crayons to make Spam lol I didn't bring any of my art supplies #His lower body/legs make no sense on a bunny base huh lol ♪#The Captain! I had to stretch for his shoulder and arm details like A Lot but I think he's still mostly recognizable? Designing plushies is so fun actually,,, only slightly related to my earlier poll because I'm still not sure what the results will end up being but I like sketching characters as tiny little toys it's very nice and relaxing and I like thinking about how and what to simplify to work better in a squishy 3D scale

#I'm assuming i wouldn't be doing Hallows or Harmony plushies bc they're more niche (bc they're my ocs) but that's what I've been sketching #i really like the idea of a little Hallows doll with a bunch of different outfits that you can swap in and out #like her original red and orange rogue outfit and her current priestess-in-training dress #but also like a little suit or that one ballgown i draw her in sometimes when she's feeling fancy #idk the idea of actually having a little Hallows i can play dress up with is very fun to me and i like it a lot :]#I'll have to wait and see what everyone else thinks later because i know that'd probably mostly just interest me and 3 other people lol #Hallows

Engineer: the bulllllerrrrrrrrr. Sorry. He’s a bull, with a nose ring. Epic. Hooves for hands, gunslinger would look like a hoof too, gotta design that later.

Heavy: big badass brown bear. Love him. Instead of bullet he has honey sticks. It costs four hundred thousand dollars to harvest honey… for 12 seconds.

Pyro: fucking dragon. hell yeah. In pyroland they see themselves as a unicorn. Baller.

So....my recommendation is to not...right before you're going to sleep at 2am to take an extra two hours to draw out a comic and then decide to sloppily color it bc it will come out....really sloppy LOL I'M SORRY!! I might come back later and touch this up but for now just bear with it lol

I just wanted them to have one more, a girl, and she has blue hair like her great grandmother (potentially) and her great granduncle (I KEEP MESSING THIS UP LOL but yes Great Grand-Uncle) but I wanted Sanji to be a little startled by it (at first obvs. emotions are high. he just pushed a new person out of him) bc 1) he has no idea that anyone in Zoro's family has blue hair 2) since she's neither green nor yellow then the blue is startling bc what if the Germa expiraments made it through him and came out in his children NOT HIS BABY!!!!!!!!!!

But its fine and they have a laugh and all is good.
