hello! it's been a while so i'm not sure if you remember, but it's dizzy (💫) anon, the one who requested for seungkwan a month or more ago. the pinky promise fic ^^

i seriously had a long-length analysis thing that i wanted to send in an ask, but i'd been doing stuff in between, so i drafted it; the thing never got to see the light of day ever again due to deteriorating attention span and memory. </3 i also thought that it would have been too long, so i kinda bailed when i remembered its existence within the week of its creation.

but i do hold some adoration for the piece. it was truly everything, i love the way you write, i love the way you interpreted the request. tbh i came in here with just a prompt and was so ready to have it done in a way unique to you, and it certainly was nothing to regret. how it was done felt warm, like waiting for a hug you've always needed (👀). i think it'd be nice to hug you as much as it would be to hug kwannie ^^

Imagine you were a mixed race boy born in Hertfordshire, different from everyone else around you. Bullied in school, being raised by your father to compete in a sport where money is very much of essence and you and your family do not have a lot of it. And then you meet this other boy who comes from the kind of life you dream to live one day. You're friends and fierce competitors. You find solace in each other. You visit Monaco for the first time with your friend, dreaming up the life you will have when you make it, when you beat out of the mould that the world thought it could capture you in.

And then you two grow through the ranks and you're at the pinnacle of your sport and you have what it takes to win and the world recognises that you can win. And you win. You win with your friend and fiercest competitor by your side fighting with you for those wins, and this fighting ruins something something that was valuable to both of you when you were still innocent and unsullied by life.

But despite everything that went into the doing and undoing of this relationship, you still realise that this person you once called a friend has a life and family beyond your bitter dynamic. He has children, and children need love and affection and good memories. And you're a better man now so you understand that. So you make sure the kids get gifts on Christmas. And you make sure of it every year. Afterall, if you met someone you loved deeply when you were both kids, wouldn't you feel a pang of nostalgia when they had kids. Wouldn't you try to extend the warmth that you couldn't find for your friend to his children. Afterall, whatever happens during childhood basically remains with you forever.

one thing i really appreciate about jinshi's character is how he has NEVER once actually had any intention of succeeding the throne. every time the idea is brought up he immediately detests it. so hes giving maomao as much as he possibly can, even though maomao has many qualms about it due to their difference in social status, but jinshi DOESNT CARE because hes NEVER cared about or wanted the status of crown prince! its been nothing but a burden to him! from his perspective the ONLY thing keeping the two of them apart are outside influences. he has no doubt within himself-- hes horribly down bad, in fact. but unfortunately his stupid JOB is getting in the way of him skipping off into the sunset with his favourite little cat

what are your opinions on peter? nobody has a characterisation that i actually like (so far)

i absolutely love peter. i refuse to even acknowledge any characterisations that isn’t my own im ngl. to start, he’s cocky. i mean c’mon he was friends with the marauders 😭 he practically breathed sarcasm. if he was an emotion, he’d be disgust or boredom. despite that, he cared a lot about his friends and could read them like a book. he was insecure about a lot of things, but his appearance actually wasn’t one. even though his body looked different from most others, he didn’t find himself repulsing or ugly; he figured he had better things to worry about than his appearance. he barely got above average in class, but he worked hard and eventually improved, though not significantly.

he met sybill somewhere around his fourth year. just like anybody else, he found her strange, but as time went on, he rather enjoyed her company. she understood him like nobody else did. their personalities were rather similar in the sense that they were both brash and out of pocket in a sense. although peter was more extroverted and sybill was introverted, they went well together.

They don’t leave their shared house for days, maybe even weeks, for that period of time. Just wrapped in each other’s embrace and warmth with the blankets settled around their forms and sunlight beaming against them. With their traded pleasure going through their intwined selves, Adam’s soul and Michael’s grace. Letting their carnal animalistic and primal instincts win and take over and just give into the need to show their desperation and their eternal love to each other in any means possible, in this essay I will-
