It's not a silly ask :). Unfortunately, my JP AC1 is on the PS3 and I don't have a capture card. I can, however, find JP gameplay on youtube XD

If you think Altaïr speaks too quickly, THAT HAPPENS A LOT in the JP version.

Robert de Sable speaks so quickly in the part where he grabs Altaïr before he could strike him down.

I still can't stop laughing at how fast he speaks.

It's the translation. The JP script has more lines than the ENG script. Robert de Sable speaks in a kinda old fashioned (but not that old fashion) way and that makes his lines looonnggerr. I love it.

Also, Altaïr speaks very respectfully to Al Mualim. It's jarring compared to his monotone voice in the ENG version. He even uses 'watashi' when speaking to Al Mualim when he normally uses 'ore'. Watashi is gender neutral and used when speaking respectfully to someone but commonly used by women while ore is more of an arrogant way to say 'I'/'my'/'mine'.

Honestly, I think JP Altaïr has an 'ikemen ore-sama' voice while ENG Altaïr feels more of 'monotone I don't give a shit ore-sama voice'. I like them both.

BTW:

Lucy calls Desmond "Desmond" while Vidic calls him "Miles-kun" which is an accurate translation of Lucy's Desmond and Vidic's Mister Miles.

BUT it does have a different vibe in the JP version.

Vidic using 'kun' shows he believe he is of higher standing compared to Desmond as 'kun' is usually used for younger boys or if the speaker is the boss or in a position of power (like a doctor or a teacher).

Lucy, on the other hand, has no reason to call Desmond by his first name since they are strangers. That's considered rude by a lot of people. Desmond-kun would have been just as weird but would have softened the blow. If Lucy was being respectful, she would call him Miles-san. This could be a ploy on Lucy's part to form a connection with Desmond early on.

Or, you know, the JP script is just following the ENG script XD

This is very self indulgent and I wasn't even expecting to finish it in time for boniji day. Maybe I just love the pairing so much I wanna make something for it also cuz I still haven't drawn anything about them lately cuz depression go brrrrr

This is initially from Nijika's POV towards Bocchi but some lyrics strayed from that especially the dog part and the last one. But this could also be from Bocchi's POV visualizing Nijika's feelings about her since the edit did start and end with Bocchi in it so...yeah that's how this edit is interpreted (also I kinda got stuck of not knowing what clips that could fit in some parts so ignore if most of the clips are from episode 8)

Btw at the 「またね」 and 「また明日」 part, I was originally going to put the same lines by both Nijika & Bocchi from the show but it sounds out of place so I scrapped it. Tho if I'm better at editing I could make it work and blend it along with the song without it sounding weird (but I'm not :P)

Another thing is that although the lyrics did say 授業 (class) / 放課後部 (after-school club) / LINE in some parts, I changed it to バイト (part time job or in this case I chose work) / 帰宅部 (go-home club) / LOINE to fit the terms in BTR

WOW I FINALLY FINISHED THIS SET. There were a lot of things I wanted to get right for them so I took some extra time but hopefully it was worth it! The guild for this set is Cobalt Heart- a guild with focus on maritime missions, lead by (of course) guildmaster Neptune. There was no other planet I could've picked for his namesake lol. They're the guild I jokingly call the most jockish, but some moreso than others. I really do hope I did all the characters justice, but if you wanna know more about the individual members, it's under the cut as usual!

Is anyone else experiencing mobile ads that are unmuted & start playing audio as soon as they come on your feed?

I keep hitting the mute button, but each ad I get still shows as unmuted & starts playing whatever music/audio it has in it. I'm almost positive I remember being able to mute one ad, then all other ads that pop up on my feed were muted, too. That no longer seems to be the case.

I wonder if this is a glitch or intentional. Somehow I have the feeling it's the latter, and if that's the case, that's scummy.

I'm less concerned about the minor inconvenience of having to lower/raise my volume whenever I want to watch a video then reminding myself to lower my volume again so I don't get jump scared by an ad later, & more concerned that it is an ad that is automatically unmuted & starts playing whenever it shows up on my feed.

I should have the option to keep my Tumblr browsing experience silent without having to lower my phone's volume all the way down. If I want to hear something play on my feed, I should have to unmute it myself vs. having it be unmuted for me unexpectedly.

Come to think of it, I feel like since I've started experiencing this issue, I've noticed more ads on my feed. Maybe I'm noticing them more bc now they have audio and catch my attention more often, or it could also be that they've just added more ads recently in addition to making all ads play sound whether you muted the previous ad or not.
