y3 has made me feel many things but one of the things that lingers with me the most about it is how majima takes every possible opportunity and makes every possible gesture to say “please don’t leave me alone again, please take me with you when you leave, I WANT to be right next to you when you need me, I’ll literally do anything for you, just don’t leave me alone again” always indirectly but in strong enough ways that i think it’d be obvious to anyone paying attention EXCEPT Kazuma Kiryu, The Densest Man On Earth, who he’s pleading to in the first place. it’s. frustrating to watch. someone needs to grab kiryu by the shoulders and tell him. for the love of god. this man loves you so much and you keep leaving him when all he wants to do is help you and be with you please just take him to okinawa oh my god

honestly the biggest Competing Access Needs issue that I personally have run into in online spaces is this:

people need, deserve, and should have space to complain and critique. that includes critiquing things that I (and they!) care about and find valuable, in order to make them better. those conversations are often necessary and healthy, and they should be allowed to happen.

however, I find those kinds of conversations incredibly stressful, often outright upsetting. especially when it involves people I like/respect arguing with or criticizing other people I like/respect. my instinct is to try to mediate and smooth things over and acknowledge the points of both sides, but often that’s either not my place to do or would be actively unhelpful. so I just end up torn in the middle of what feels to me like a barrage of negativity, filled with the unhelpful desire to be like “can’t we just all get along????”

the only and best solution to this is for me to just remove myself from conversations like these, and I’ve gotten better at that, but. It’s still difficult for me to deal with, even though I know that despite my hangups, it’s sometimes better for those conversations to happen than not.

Just casually thinking about how much of a tell it is when Tom says “Siobhan” versus when he says “Shiv” and how he switches from “You don’t like to fail a test, do you Siobhan” to “Honest to God I don’t know, Shiv” in their phone call in the finale, and that’s how you know he isn’t fucking with her, he honest to god truly doesn’t know if he wants to try.

Also still pissed at the computer place for arguing with me about the data transfer like dude I’m not paying you $100 for something I’ve done several times and already have the stuff I need to do that. I asked them to just leave my hard drive out and he was all “well just bring your new computer in we’ll do the transfer you don’t know how to.” And I told them like bruh this ain’t my first rodeo, i know how to get my hard drive over I just actually wanted to keep the computer or i wouldn’t have tried getting it fixed 🙄

Also I’m not going to bring my new computer to the people that broke my old one more than it was when I brought it in? You’re a repair place and you did the opposite of repairing why would I trust you???

Riley has this really REALLY bad obsession with collecting things. Anything that exists “has related objects that MUST be collected”. That means pretty rocks, keychains, fridge magnets, (Dino fridge magnets. He’s got the entire team), Pokémon cards, ANGRY BIRDS cards, fandom merch, bobbleheads, sword blades, ENERGEMS, and he’s got shelves over shelves of action figures. He can never suffice having ONE of anything. Everything’s better in collection!!

AND when he moved in with chase the first time, chase was ✨shocked✨ because oh my fucking god SO MUCH STUFF. HOARDER!!!!

The fridge was filled with magnets, every little key with a dangling keychain, shelves over shelves of sooooo many things. Chase adores it, but really. SO. MUCH. STUFF.

He tries not to get an aneurism at times.
