The new Pokémon game is a glitchy buggy rushed mess. But it’s still selling like hotcakes and people are still gonna play it.

It’s kinda sad at least to me because that all the promises they’ll keep making BAD games because they know it’ll sell regardless. Just because it’s Pokémon. I feel bad for the people who work there and try to genuinely make good stuff.

And all glitches even OVERLOOKED. The game looks bad guys I mean come on. Take off the nostalgia glasses and recognize a subpar attempt at a professional game. If it were anyone else it’d get a pity excuse but this is the fuckin Pokémon company. Make them live up to it!

Genuinely can’t tell if I’m being a bit delusional with my dreams or if not 😅 I soooooo badly want to quit my job before the summer but I feel like I need to have everything Ready and be Making Money before I justify quitting - I’m just so worried I will pour all this time and effort and energy in and have it flop 🥲

#here’s my thoughts:#starting with percy: I ABSOLUTELY LOVE HOW THEY MADE HIS EYES SO BRIGHT GREEN IN THE MOA ONE #annabeth: FINALLY SHE HAS CURLY HAIR. the straight hair bothered me so much when i read the lost hero one #(don’t get me wrong i like leah as annabeth but i do still love curly hair annabeth)#reyna: like all of the graphic novels the whitewashing is questionable but besides that #[i do not condone it #just to be clear #i’m talking specifically about design)#this is my favourite one of her looks omg #hazel: i can see why people were so upset about her design in SoN #the hair is just NOT IT #they did her justice in the MoA one but again i know there is still a problem with whitewashing #and finally nico: they did him DIRTY in the SoN one #and every single one before that #but the MoA is AMAZING #and i will reiterate: they definitely need to work on NOT WHITE WASHING the characters #anyways yeah #heroes of olympus #percy jackson #annabeth chase #reyna avila ramírez arellano #hazel levesque #nico di angelo #the lost hero #the son of neptune #the mark of athena

i wish i wasnt so squeamish so i could actually enjoy watching horror movies 🤸

#im very squeamish though and my stomach is super easily upset #if i listen to music too loudly w headphones in i’ll throw up 😭 so horror movies are a no go #but that sucks bc i LOVE hearing about them!! i love watching detailed reviews and summaries and theories abt them!!#but then i catch a visual from a horror movie and i’m nauseous for hours ;-;#i can watch ari aster’s films which is good but imo his movies aren’t that scary aha. my goal is being able 2 watch martyrs one day #i listened to a review of martyrs once without watching the visuals bc i didn’t wanna see anything graphic #and just the graphic sounds from the movie caused me to FAINT AT MY DESK 😭😭😭#so yeah it will be a hike from here to when i can actually watch that movie without hurting myself ha

i love watching wrestling with my cis male boyfriend btw. his favourite wrestlers are hangman adam page and john silver. he says “just kiss already” whenever wrestlers do the forehead touch. his preferred way of respectfully objectifying the female wrestlers is by kinda breathlessly saying “babe you should put your phone away”. (i know when it’s objectification and when it’s just regular cool moves he needs me to see cause he will always rewind for the cool moves but rarely for the tiddies.) he got mad at me this morning for giving him spoilers i saw online about the HOOK vs stokely hathaway match.

I want to preface this by saying that I’m very pro-kink and generally pro-consenting adults doing whatever they want with each other

With that said, I accidentally went down a rabbit hole last night bc tumblr recommended a blog that was all themed around a very specific kink that I’m not into and don’t usually like seeing it on my dash, so I was going about blocking a few that had similar posts. And like. Some of these people are literally 18 or 19 (one said they were still in high school) talking about some very heavy kinks that have very complicated power dynamics that I personally could not imagine being able to fully understand so young.

I’m not saying any of these people should not be allowed to explore their sexuality or even that they shouldn’t be in kink-related settings. It was like people who were into things like cnc but censoring words so it was like “r4pe” and “fauxinc3st” that it felt like if you are not mature enough to write out those words, then you may not be mature enough to be experimenting with those kinks on a level you’re currently trying to. There are plenty of predatory people out there who insist they’re very experienced in the kink scene, especially online.

TLDR: I’m begging 18-20 yr olds out there experimenting with kink for the first time to please be fucking careful and think about if you’re ready for some of this stuff

#personal #I just saw so many yesterday and like #I’m sure this is by no means a hot take but like #I think kink and sex in general can be a very healthy release #and can even help heal or cope with trauma and like so many other things #but like my dude #if you are 18 and begging people specifically much older than you to message you ‘icky’ things #or have a whole blog dedicated to sibling incest #or are typing out graphic scenes involving rape or incest in the context of kink #perhaps some other things are at play here that need to be addressed #also for those who don’t know i guess the ‘icky’ bit seems to be common in reference to like incest/faux incest #rape mention #incest mention
