ALSO mario is suddenly a good person bc he knocked a women up and now he has to be a single dad. marcela is suddenly not a mean person ever since she got married and had a baby. and they kill off armando’s sister for angst. and his parents suddenly love him. meanwhile, the writer took it upon themselves to make hermes a completely terrible man and make her mom envious of betty’s independence. towards the end, she brings armando back to bogota, but she visits her parents alone. and hermes calls her a whore bc he knows about her various relationships and bc she’s living with armando sans marriage and he also he doenst like armando. and then he hits beatriz. and then armando finds out and he beats the shit of hermes. and then beatriz gets mad at him????

it’s so crazy and not in a fun way. like, the writer really went out of their way to make her parents bad ppl but redeem his parents. 

and here’s the kicker---at the end they elope to vegas and have a son instead of a daughter. oh and they live in berlin.

gamecube was the first one i designed, i dont remember exactly what triggered it, but i was reminded of when i had tried to design a gamecube gijinka maaany years ago when i was a kid (so i wanted to do it again)

her design is inspired by the gamecube's code name: dolphin (the swimsuit like outfit and the dolphin on the top)

nes's design takes inspo from both the english and japanese versions of the console (aka the famicom)

his zapper on his leg is actually a real gun unlike the real life zapper

snes's design inspo comes from a few different games: mother, mario, and zelda (the stars might be from kirby i dont remember)

64's design inspos are mario and zelda (specifically mario 64 and oot)

wii's main outfit was inspired by the wii's original name revolution

wii and wii u consider themselves twins despite the fact that neither console were made at the same time, i just wanted to make fun of the whole "is the wii u just an add-on to the wii?" type of stuff (theyre androids so its ok we can bend the rules)

most of switch's colors come straight from different joycon pair colors

her eyes are also styled after the joycons as well (which is why theyre lazy)

Having a child had never crossed Kaoru’s mind before, but when Joe had teased him about how “you treat Carla better than you would a child!”, the idea kind of stuck with him. And so, he’d spent countless nights awake, wondering to himself if it was something he truly wanted?

He’d pass parks, seeing parents with spewing babies and toddlers throwing tantrums, wondering if he could actually put up with that? But as he passed the shops, he came across a mother and her daughter, who looked around 12. He watched them pass, a grin on the child’s face as she looked into her shopping bag, examining her haul for that day. And so it was settled

He wanted a baby girl he could spoil absolutely rotten

And the search for a child carried on, and this time instead of baby shops and websites, he was browsing the shelves of Claires and other tween clothing stores. It had only occurred to him over a bottle of wine with Joe, as they were discussing if Kaoru was truly ready for something like this. Instead of a crying baby or a messy toddler, he could simply adopt someone a bit older!

It made sense too. For a single parent, an older child seemed much more doable. Of course, he wouldn’t be alone. Joe was always telling him how he’d help out, yknow, if he actually went through with the damn thing.

Not to mention, the older you get, the more difficult it is to get adopted. Babies and young children will get adopted left right and centre, whereas the child he will take home will have been there for a while. Finally, they will have a place to call a home

He spent months trying to get the approval for adoption, and one fateful day he finally got the letter that yes he could go ahead and take one home. He was ecstatic, spending the next few days finding out the location of every orphanage around his area of Japan. He messaged every single one, asking when their next visiting day was

He went through orphanage after orphanage, searching for someone he could call his own. However, none of the children were lighting that paternal flame inside him. It wasn’t their fault of course, they just didn’t click with him, staring at him any time he tried to talk to them. Visit after visit, he’d go to Joe’s, ready to tell him about his recent fail.

It wasn’t until Joe came up to him with a phone number, asking if he’d been to this particular orphanage yet. Apparently they had a few children aged 12 and up, and were available for visit that Saturday. And so there he was, packing a bag and getting ready to travel to the house. This time felt different, somehow. He could feel his palms sweat, as if he could sense he would take one of them home

When he finally made it to the house, he was a nervous wreck. The lady of the house let him in with a smile, telling him the children were in the backyard playing while she bounced a baby on her hip. Cherry winced as the baby gurgled at him, glad he opted for an older child

She led him outside, gesturing at the children who were sprinting around in the vast field, hiding behind trees and bushes. It was clear they were playing a game of hide and seek. He smiled as he scanned over them, but it quickly disappeared when he noticed one little girl sitting on the step, head in her lap while her shoulders gently shook with tears

He walked over to her, bending down with a soft smile. He didn’t know where this sudden calmness came from, but that was his last priority right now. A little gash sat on the girls knee, caked with blood as it trickled down her shin. He frowned, pulling out a tissue to gently wipe it. She jumped, wincing with shock from the fresh wave of pain, and surprise. Kaoru gently wiped at her knee once more before looking up at her to attempt a conversation

“Hello, is your knee alright?” She shook her head frantically, wiping a tear away from her face. A small breathy laugh escaped him as he watched the child stand, gesturing to her leg

“Nope, not at all. I think its broken, if you ask me. All cause of that stupid thing!” She threw her arm out, gesturing to a pink board Kaoru hadn’t noticed before. A skateboard.

That’s when Kaoru realised it: I want this one

Suddenly he felt a new sense of importance, like he had to make a good impression. He walked over to the board, tutting as he looked down at it. “This is what hurt you?” He looked at it with disdain as the little girl nodded her head violently. Kaoru could see how she hurt herself, the thing was massive, especially for someone her age. It looked around the size of a board he would use.

Grinning, he picked up the board. “Well, want to see something cool?” She watched in wonder as kaoru stood on it, pushing off and turning quickly, popping an ollie over a stray toy. The little girl jumped, throwing her arms up as she cheered Kaoru on. He finished with a flourish, coming back to stand beside her. “What did you think?” She was speechless, simply moving her hands, saying scattered “wows” and making various sound effects. Kaoru smiled, certain that he could teach her more.

When he realized visiting time was coming to a close, he proposed the idea to the girl, who’s name he had come to know was Lily: he’d come back next week, and he’d bring his board. He even promised to find her a smaller boar perfect for her to learn on, saying he knew a friend who could make her one. From there he would teach her the basics of skateboarding, even a couple of tricks once she got that down. She was delighted, bouncing up and down and declaring she couldn’t wait, all the energy of someone much younger than her. Kaoru found he couldn’t stop smiling himself either

He made his way back through the house, Lily skipping alongside him. He explained the plan to the Lady, that he would come back next week for another visit. Just as he was about to leave, he turned to the lady to request one final thing from her

“Make sure no one snatches her up from me while I’m gone, yeah?”

Needless to say a bottle of wine was opened at Joe’s that night in celebration of Lily, the potential daughter

And so the weeks turned into months, and Kaoru returned each week with his board and some sweets for her and the other children, teaching her everything she needed to know about skateboarding. After a month or so she could confidently ollie without bailing, and next time he visited she displayed it with delight, watching Kaoru’s face light up with pride.

She had taken a real liking to Kaoru, according to the Lady. She refused to pay any other visitors any notice, declaring they “simply weren’t Kaoru.” This is what finally made him realise that maybe it was time to ask if she’d like to live with him from now on, where she could practice with him every day.

When he asked her, Kaoru could’ve sworn he actually saw stars in her eyes. She simply lit up, throwing herself at Kaoru, tears streaming down her face as she shouted yes, of course she would. she wasn’t the only one crying, Kaoru could barely see from the tears in his own eyes, the lady dabbing at hers with a tissue

Once the paperwork was complete and Lily was his, he felt a weight had been taken off his shoulders. He had packed her a new change of clothes the day he went to collect her, bringing Joe along with him for emotional support. Lily came flying at him the second he got out of his car, wrinkling her nose at Joe

“You never told me you had a boyfriend, Kaoru” she stuck her tongue out at him from over his shoulder while they both tried to convince her that no, they weren’t a couple, before she ran upstairs to get changed. Joe turned to Kaoru, an almost offended look on his face

“Why were you so adamant that we weren’t together??” “I dont need her worrying she’s going home to a Gorrila” “HEY”

Once they all got home, they threw a little party at Joe’s who had closed a little early specially for it. Kaoru didn’t let her out of his sight, making sure she wasn’t uncomfortable with all the new people. Of course, it was only Joe, Shadow, Reki, Langa and Miya, all of whom she would meet eventually, but he still worried in case she got overwhelmed.

She made quick friends with Reki, who was ecstatic from the moment he realised she could skate. The two bonded over it, talking about tricks they’d learned, Reki shouting over at Kaoru because why hadn’t he taught him anything??

Miya was a bit standoffish at first, but when she saw the switch in his hand, the two were instantly bonding over who had better villagers in Animal Crossing, and who had passed more levels in Mario with three stars

As the months went on, Lily really settled into her new life in Okinawa, starting at school in Miyas class. The two were joined at the hip, Miya often coming home to Kaoru’s so they could practice together, or simply study and watch some movies. Reki constantly teased the shit out of the two, talking about how he heard “wedding bells”. This comment earned him a swift whack into the skull from Kaoru, warning him not to tease his little girl

Soon enough Kaoru was making her own skateboard with built-in Carla, who helped her skating improve insanely. As Kaoru said, she was definitely a chip off the old block. Langa and Reki would take her to the skate park with them, helping her land new tricks and would take videos of her to send to Kaoru

Shadow was like a chill uncle to her, bringing her flowers for her room and taking her out to get some clothes and ice cream. Joe was like an uncle too, but a much more untrustworthy one. Would he take her to the park, or would he take her to parts of downtown she definitely shouldn’t have been? Who knows, certainly not Kaoru...

Poor Kaoru can never get a minutes peace. Every second of the day she’s plotting something, waiting for him to let his guard down so she can pounce, scaring the shit out of him. When the others are around its 10x worse, all of them ganging up on him to pull pranks

As well as skateboarding, Kaoru tried to teach her how to do calligraphy. She ended up being awful, blotting the ink and smearing it with her hand. But hey, it was a fun art project that made it onto the fridge

At S, she was watched like a hawk. When Kaoru was competing,the others would be like her bodyguard, making sure no one got within 5 feet of her. She’d watch her dad with wonder, the look of awe never leaving her face since the first day she saw him skate. She can’t wait for the day she can compete, maybe even beating her own dad

The first time Lily called Kaoru “dad” was when he won a race, showing off some amazing skills and winning the insanely close match by a hair. He picked up his board, looking around for Lily. He saw her in the crowd, throwing her arms up and cheering “THATS MY DAD!! LOOK, RIGHT THERE, THATS MY DAD!” When she spotted him, a large grin spread across her face. “Nice job out there dad! You did amazing!! D’you think I can do that one day?”

Everyone was staring at her, she hadn’t even realised she had said anything out of the ordinary. Soon enough Kaoru was lunging at her, picking her up in a hug so she didn’t see the tears quickly forming on his face. With a smile he pulled away, his voice dripping with pride

“Of course you could. You’re my daughter, aren’t you?”

The first group to go quiet was Midoriya’s, you knew him from the sports festival. His whole group went silent and a few pointed. Many new eyes landed on you, some gasps traveled around the room and some just stared.

One stood in his chair, a blonde male with a black streak, and he pointed as he yelled. He sat next to your girlfriend, who scrolled on her phone with her earjack plugged in. She glared at Kaminari as he stood abruptly in his chair, and her eyes followed where his outstretched finger led.

Kelly checked his watch for the fifth time in the last thirty seconds. He had just gotten off shift and called you to see what your plans were for tonight after you got off work but you didn't answer. That's very odd for you to do. You always answered. So he knew something wasnt right and he headed to the police department.

"Hey Trudy, have you seen Y/N"? Kelly asked the front desk officer.

"Haven't seen her since she came in this morning around eight. Why"?

"I'm off work and I called her but she isn't picking up. Maybe the unit is out with a case".

"The unit hasn't left all day. They've been working on a case that seems to be leading them on a wild goose chase". Trudy informed him. Now he was starting to get worried.

"Can I talk to Voight about this"?

"Yeah, I'll buzz you up".

Kelly walked up the stairs and saw everyone acting normal no alarms going off that Y/N wasn't there.

"Hey Kelly, what can we do for you today"? Voight greeted.

"Y/N, haven't you seen that she's not here"? Kelly pointed to your desk.

"She went on a run for coffee".

"How long ago? She hasn't answered my calls for two hours now. I know it doesn't take that long to get coffee".

"Adam track her phone. She's probably stopping to get something else and her phone died". Voight suggested.

"This is not like my sister. She calls to say she's running late even when her phone dies. Something is wrong". Kelly followed Voight to Adams desk. He tracked your last location but after that it was gone. Like you vanished.

"See. She's nowhere on here. Something happened to her and you better find out and bring my sister home safely". Kelly yelled at Voight, storming out. Voight sighed.

"Jay, Erin go to the coffee shop and see what you can find. Adam send them the address". Voight gave out orders and he went to his office. One of his members were gone right from under his nose and no one saw or heard a thing.

Erin and Jay arrived at the coffee shop, they talked to the manager and asked about the surveillance tapes. What they saw wasn't what they wanted.

"She was taken". Erin stormed in the squad room showing pictures.

"A unknown Male grabbed her from behind as she was putting the coffee in her car and took her somewhere off camera".

"Where's her car"?

"Towed away".

"Get Adam the video see if you can find anything. You two find the car. The rest of you call hospitals. No one tells Kelly. I dont want him going on a rampage and get her killed". Voight order his team. They all kicked it into high gear.

After hours of phone calls to hospitals  around Chicago they came up empty handed. Jay and Erin found the car but nothing looked out of the ordinary. The tow truck driver said he didn't see anyone near the car when he came to pick it up. That it looked like some soccer mom's spa day went to long and she forgot the timer.

"So we have nothing"? Hank questioned his team.

"Her phone is either destroyed or dumped somewhere. I'm not getting a signal at all". Adam said looking up from his screen.

"Damn it. We need to figure this out and find her. Kelly has been ringing my phone off the hook for hours. He's wanting to go to the news with this but I'm afraid that if the kidnappers see this they'll kill her".

"Think who would want to take Y/N"?

"Check to see if anyone got out recently that Y/N put away and made threats. Let's find her". Hank told his him.

That was three days ago and Kelly let's say he was about to rain hell on Voight and his team. He found out that there was a video and he car was towed away. He was pissed that Voight lied and kept secrets from him. It was his sister missing not some random from the streets. He wanted answers. 

Kelly parked his car and started walking to the front entrance of the police department as he was walking he passed by a alleyway. He's walked past it many time but something in him said go down and that's what he did.

He followed the trash littering the ground and under a pile of newspaper there was a foot.. Cold and white.

Kelly threw off the papers and saw it was his little sister laying on the ground. He checked your pulse and it was hardly there but it was there. You were covered in bruises. Your wrists had rope burns from being tied up. He took his jacket off and wrapped it around you picking you up and running to the station.

"Call an ambulance". Kelly screamed as he entered. Trudy rushed to see what happened. She stopped in her tracks as she saw it was you. "Call 911". She yelled to the officer at the desk.

A ambulance came and started working on you. Hooking up oxygen and a IV. Your pulse was weak and your blood pressure was low. They needed to get you to med and fast. Your life depends on it.

Kelly didn't go to the hospital right away, he had a bone to pick with Hank Voight. He stormed up stairs, he came to a desk and knocked off the computer. Causing a crash getting everyone's attention. Kelly had tears running down his face.

"I just found my sister in a fucking alley. If you would have done your fucking jobs this wouldn't have happened. If anything happens to her, I'm coming for you Voight". Kelly pointed to Voight.

"We know who it is".

"It's to late. Everything's been played out. You had your chance". Kelly gritted his teeth as he walked away going to the hospital.

When Kelly got there you were getting checked over by Will. The nurse said Will would be out as soon as he knew you were stable.

Kelly sat there on his phone calling everyone he knew in the police department that wasn't a fan of Voight and there were a few but he got the answer he wanted.

"Kelly"? Will came up to him.

"How is she? Is okay"?

"She's lucky you found her. Another night she would have been dead".

"What happened to her"? Kelly wanted to know but also he didn't want to hear the details.

"She has a few broken bones. A punctured lung. Hyperthermia. We ran some test and found drugs in her system. She's in bad shape but I see her making a complete recovery with the right support system".

"Anything else"?

"No. She's okay there". Kelly sighed a sigh of relief knowing that you was okay.

"Thanks, Will. Can I see her"?

"For a moment. We're trying to warm her up slowly so she's pretty out of it". Will lead Kelly to your room. You were hooked up to all sorts of machines. Your lips were blue and you didn't look good but you were a fighter and you would pull through.

"Can I get a second"?

"Yeah, I'll be outside if you need me". Will left leaving Kelly to sob. He held your hand. You were freezing.

"I'm going to make them pay. I'll rip their fucking throats out. Just get better, please. You can't leave me". Kelly kissed your forehead and left. He was on a mission of vengeance.

Kelly had the address in hand as he walked up to the house. A few guys sat on the porch as he went up the stairs.

"Is Romeo here"? He asked one of the guys.

"Who's asking"?

"James. My friend Mario said he could hook me up".

"Mario sent you"?

"Yeah, you want me to call him to verify ". Kelly went to pull out his phone.

"Nah, you cool". He opened the door and Kelly went inside. The house was filled with smells that Kelly only smelt when he had to deal with drug addicts. Cocaine, meth. You name it, it was probably there.

"Can I help you"? A voice spooked Kelly.

"Yeah. I came to get some coke. My boy Mario said you were the best". Kelly chuckled to cover up his nervousness.

"You came to the right place. Take a seat". The man pulled out a wooden box and put it on the coffee table for Kelly.

"Pick your sin". He laughed.

"Are you Romeo? Cause Mario said to deal with Romeo only".

"Yes, now where's my money"?

"I have it. Let me pick. I have a few lady friends coming over and they want some good shit". Romeo laughed as Kelly looked through the box.

"I know how that is. I had a woman a couple days ago. Cop. She loved to party. Couldn't get enough".

"Oh really"? Kelly tried to keep his anger under control.

"Yeah. Cute little Y/H/C. See we go way back. She put me away for awhile and I got her back. That the way I do it. You screw me, I'll screw you". Romeo slammed the box lid on Kelly.

"You know, you look a lot like the cops brother. She had a picture of them two together in her wallet". Romeo eyed Kelly.

"Only child. Mom's a CEO of a company  and dad's a lawyer".

"You sure"?

"You're right. I shouldn't lie, we just met. Dont want to get off on the wrong foot". Kelly reached in his waistband and brought out a metal baton. Cracking Romeo in the face with it. Romeo landed on the floor with a thud.

Kelly stepped over him. "I'm her brother and I'm the last person you'll ever see again". Kelly raised his arm again ready to strike but the door busted open and in came Voight and his team.

"Kelly, put the weapon down. I don't want to have to to shoot you". Hank warned pointing his gun at him.

"You need to leave and let me finish this. It doesn't concern you".

"It does. If you kill him I'll have to arrest you and I dont think you want Y/N to wake up with no one there by her side. So drop it".

Kelly was hesitant at first but he thought of you being alone, he knew he didn't want that. So he dropped his arm and walked off.

"Get out of here. No one will know you were here".

"Thanks". Kelly nodded and left. Voight and the team arrested Romeo and his crew. There was enough drugs to send them away for life not to mention the attempted murder of a cop, kidnapping and assault. They were looking at death row.

Kelly went back to the hospital and sat by your side. Since he left you were getting pinker and back to yourself. He watched as you opened your eyes and looked at him.

"Hey there sis".

"I'm sorry". You said with a tear running down your cheek.

"No need to be sorry. You're alive and well. Your here and getting help. That's all that matters. I'm with you every step of the way". Kelly squeezed your hand in supporting you.

Ok so back when the Wii first came out I got mariokart Wii edition as well as Super Mario Galaxy, and if you didn’t know, having those two games allows you to unlock Rosalina as a playable character in mariokart. I did not know this as the foolish child i was, and only found out when my friend (who had completed the game) told me that she did not have Rosalina. A few years later i decide to once again pick up playing Super Mario Galaxy, seeing as it had been a few years and back then I hasn’t even gotten past the first planet. I loved that game and it has since become my favorite mainstream Mario game and Rosalina has become my favorite Mario character.

Section 4, Subsection 2: A Shadow of Your Former Self

Ok. I lied. That’s not all of Section 4. The game does the “End Of Section!” cutscene, and you can save your game like normal, but that’s not where it ends. See, the demon has committed Identity Theft to the most literal of terms. Now he looks like Mario, and Mario looks like...

Well, he’s totally violet. You need to find a way to reclaim your name and body, and quick. That ghost is galivanting around in your body!

On the way back to the village, the demon, still in your body, will ambush you. Guess his name, and he says he’ll give you everything back. Veterans, like me, of course already know his name. There’s just one issue. The lowercase letter between “o” and “q” is missing. So we can’t say what his name is, without first going to the location where the letter and his name are. And, no, you can’t use the big version of that letter. I try every time...

The battle is unwinnable. Neither you nor the demon do and damage. You have to run away.

ALLY GET!

Vivian. Remember the shadow sirens that we fought in Section 2? The youngest decides to join you since you’re nice to her! She, of course, doesn’t know you’re Mario, given your stolen name and body, so this might get awkward later... Eh, best not to think about it. She has Shade Fist and Veil. Shade Fist hits for 3 base damage and Veil lets you avoid any attack the next turn, at the cost of her next move. Veil will be useful. Just you wait. We need to sneak back to the Scary Church and get that letter, fast. I dont know how long I can continue without using it.

Bird

There’s a bird in the Scary Church that guards the letter and knows the demon’s name. Finally, we obtain the Lowercase letter “p” and tell the demon his name is Doopliss! Just as an aside, purple poltergeists pick prickly pears per Peter Piper’s problematic precepts. That has nothing to do with Chapter 4; I just wanted to use the letter “p” again. Some crows in Twilight Town also said that telling Doopliss his name will get rid of his unlimited magic. 

Walking

This chapter’s main problem is walking. In total you walk to the Creepy Steeple and back 3 times. It wouldn’t be as annoying if the path changed or there were different ways to get there, but the whole chapter is kinda based around progressing like a pendulum, going back and forth. I don’t think it’s as bad as some people say it is, but I was definitely tired of it after I told Doopliss his name. He could have just fought me there, but I had to run back through the hyper goombas and Crazee Dayzees. It’s just a mild inconvenience.

Doopliss

Doopliss uses your previous partners against you! However strong they were, you have to fight them! …Kinda. See, they don’t get the same badge power ups as they had before. But, they have the same HP levels. So I made it a fun little side goal to take out all of the partners, too, even though they all have 1 HP. Vivian leaves at the beginning of the fight, since she’s realized you’re really Mario, but comes back later in the fight, rejecting her sisters. Now she’s part of our party for good! He’s pretty easy to take out, by the way, especially after Vivian comes back. Hit him for 40 HP and reclaim your name!

Some hours later jerico, with help of the rest of the team and her friend glammed up the briefing room,to look like the main Hall of a castle in wich a royal ball was happening.

Santos entered the place and quickly noticed the change, still stoic looked at his wife--And this?

--Just a tiny surprise...wanna dance?--She offered her hand and went to hug him.

Santos, softly pushed her back,shaking his head--im sorry...I have some work to do...--he tried to lift her chin up,but she Turned her head away and pushed past him to leave the room.

Santos just looked at them confused--what now?

They left, slamming the door shut, the rest could swear they felt the whole building shake.

When Nico came back they had to be restrained by both lamponne and Medina, as they found jerico deeply upset,not crying, but very upset.

Mario for a moment did fear for his life.

He had Walked to his Office,knowing that jerico would be there.

And his suspicions were correct,as he heard the soft tune of music.
