OOOO ok so I will be the first to admit that the side stories really REALLY endeared me to the stakes. I thought they were cute throughout the main game but the side stories really boosted them (and the other side characters) way up in the rankings for me

In terms of my favorite, that's actually a bit of an "it depends" question. In the main game, and overall, I would have to say Mammon (my darling baby angellllll the distillation of lesbian desireeeeeeee my everlasting sweetheart my favorite side characterrrrrrr), but on the condition of Ange also being there. In much the same way that my love of Battler is kinda predicated on his dynamic with Beatrice, I like Mammon and Ange as a thematic unit. Can't have just one of them

However, the side stories made me like Satan a LOT more-- she's inherently kind of a hilarious character and her whole "genuinely trying to be nice and then immediately throwing hands the second something even LOOKS like it's going to go wrong" thing is really cute :) So if I had to pick one of them just based on their personality alone without factoring in how they operate in synergy with another character? Satan for sure
