- I like the idol Miis a lot. I want them to get in so bad. Miitopia is one of my favorite games and I would recommend it to literally anyone. Especially because it has idols.

Amari Katasumi

- She's a beautiful chaotic anxious mess, a bit of a tonal shift from the older show's continuity that feels almost like a real, older girl stumbled into a candy-coated idol show and is rediscovering herself and her childhood. Her forgotten edgy OC came to life and they hatelove each other as a metaphor for her own self-hatred/love (that's canon). She has bi autistic bunnygirl swag (that's slightly less canon but I have seen her in an autistic character tourney and I think she won a round or two so I'm not the ONLY one seeing this). Her character song is a freaking BANGER and the lyrics hit way too hard. Both her normal and magical girl-idol designs are iconic.

But more seriously speaking it's a lovely story that resonates with me in particular because she's the same age I was when I was the biggest fan of the old show, and I imagine other fans around my age would say the same - so both her story itself and the metanarrative make her one for the books, even though her show was super delayed so it hasn't even finished yet.

@captainmvf and I talked about how this song would be fitting for Popstar Electra, since well...he's an idol. But he's hiding his origins and doesn't want anyone to know about them so that he can protect his perfect image. (Also his haughtiness can cause others to resent him and his popularity, but that's already a given.) So that definitely fits with the themes of Idol and Oshi no Ko in general.

Everyone deciding on Miitopia classes for the new set is WRONG you do not understand Miitopia like I do (<- please never ask what fandom I was in when I was 14). Anyway just from the costumes alone Nene is a mage, Rui is a scientist and Tsukasa is a chef (literally two of the best classes and worst class). MEIKO's like a wolf but I guess that's close enough to cat class (another good class). Emu doesn't really fit any of them she's just a generic traveller so I'd set her as elf just because it's super OP and call it a day.

Tsukasa you're letting the team down pick literally any other class please.

His name is Kuro (blue hair) but his stage name is Kuromi (pink hair), he's an idol manager by day and idol himself at night! -Mike's creator Dr. Crygor is a father figure to him. Their relationship isnt abusive, but its more like Mike acting like an annoyed, angsty teen with his somewhat protective silly guy of a father. Mike appreciates his family, despite not straight up expressing that half the time.

-Mike works with music programs! this is why he talks about synthesizers and other musical things in such great detail. However, he's been trying *not* to punch a hole through his screen for a while now. Crygor has better things to do than to fix that old hand-me-down laptop apparently.

-Mike is Nonbinary! Mike goes by He/they.

-Mike was originally started on as having female characteristics in mind like Doris 1, but eventually, near the last minute, he was changed to having more male characteristics. However, some parts of programming never got fixed, so he still has some traits that could be considered "off" at times. Mike is aware of this and has chosen to go by being Nonbinary.

-Mike is also Pansexual! However, he isnt that interested in women to begin with. They aren't completely out of the picture, but...y'know. if you ever asked him what type of women he's into, he'd probably respond with "men" and stare at you deadpan until you eventually change the topic, or leave.

-He takes care of the Mics on his head like they're his literal children. Do NOT fuck with his mics. Despite this, he has no problem with acting like the damned popstar from Miitopia. he WILL throw his mics at you and do some cool ass attacks with them. but yeah, he cleans them every day :-] the beginning of warioware get it together has him cleaning them, and he literally says "a clean mic is a happy mic!" to himself. its adorable

-mike is actually apparently canonically a great cook! i dont get the reason why his favorite thing to make is fruit punch though. he might be stupid

-he is probably hatsune miku's number one defender tbh. if not that he is also kasane teto's number one defender and teto is probably like an idol to him LMAO

-he does not watch a lot of anime! he was not lying. but he does enjoy jojo's bizzare adventure a lot and nicknames the show "bisexual men battle" sometimes for shits and giggles

- i hc the reason why his voice has been so fucked up in recent entries is because mike broke his voice a little bit after warioware touched with that singing tournament he won, and crygor had to fix him and tune his voice. however crygor is PROBABLY tone deaf. and fucked his voice up. and mike has no idea. recently though, someone could've tuned his voice to be correct again! (this...honestly was most likely penny, however in overrift, it was miku! yes. miku. that miku.)

-he's tried taking up guitar recently but kind of sucks. he thinks he's pretty good though right now

-mike has definitely thought about life as a human and has wondered what it would've been like if he was born a human. he can only dream i guess. (he's also recently begun thinking about this again. and also having cool human clothes and a more human singing voice)

-mike may seem like he has a big ego, but he definitely can have it shattered somewhat easily if something hits him in the gut (metaphorically) and he actually has a big heart. he cares a lot for people but sometimes has a hard time showing it, and his programming will sometimes falter and make him very unstable like mentally and physically

-mikes typing style changes depending on how comfortable he is when talking to certian people. hence him key mashing and typing casually with penny and more monotone and proper with other people he doesnt know.

My Miitopia Chronicles (2/5)

Continued from Part 1

So after we got all of the moneys we continued to set forth aaaaaand the entire party sans me got kidnapped...

so naturally I turned to crime.

Whatever I can replace my friends so we got a new party consisting of Futaba Sakura, Mae Borowski, and one of my actual besties (they expressly wished not to be identified so we’re calling them Oz since the appearance is modeled after the Batman 2004 version of the Penguin) and not just me coping with my depressing existence by pretending I'm besties with my blorbos.

So after I emulate my idol Professor McNasty and drive the Genie to drink. We find ourselves having to restore faces to the entire kingdom...again.

So maybe not as much compared to last time (if only because half of them would rely on inside jokes that my friend would rather not explain) ,but still this game continues to be amazing. I even tried my hand at Mii customization. If this gains enough traction I might make my access code public wink wink nudge nudge

Fromis_9 is a K-pop girl group that debuted in 2017, the group were formed in a survival show called “Idol School” where 41 girls competed for be in the top 9 to be part of the lineup and debut in the group 🙂… and as you can imagine they are the 9 members who won their position to form the group Fromis_9 🙂…

Unnamed AU

Elfilis is saved by Neichel before they get captured and the two become besties. Shenanigans ensue.

Gatorade Flavored Ratatouille

Elfilis and the gemini stumble upon a human colony. Elfilis plans to slowly mentally torture the humans for revenge and tries to get the gemini to join them, but Elfilin opposes and Forgo doesn't want to interact with humans ever again. The three fight all the time but still hold onto eachother.

Super Mario Galaxy AU i guess?

Not realky Super Mario Galaxy, but basically the humans already had "planetary warp technology" and Elfilis and Neichel meet up during their intergalactic travels and also Lab Discovera wants to capture Elfilis anyways so they have to do a Mario Galaxy to stop them??? Idk

Unnamed Candy World AU

Mousies wake up in a candy world with no memories of how they got there. Elfilis feels like something is wrong, but they're too overconfident to act on their suspicions. Plus, the gemini have a thing for sweets (which they got from Elfilis themself of course) so they're overjoyed.

Backrooms AU

Morpho traps the rats in a dream that resembles the backrooms (that Lizzie knew of from reading children's minds) to trick them into dying.

Boxed Gemini

In which they are actual siblings. That's it.

Idol AU

There's a whole ass seraphim society now! After beating the living shit out of Boib, Elfilis becomes a super idol. Once again, Morpho wants them dead. Elfilis is fucking terrified and uses their music as a cry for help.

Also Neichel is there as Elfilis' fancy pet and best friend because this was originally gonna be an Elfilis-Neichel swap but there's so little that can be done with that.

Elfilis accidentally starts a livestream and everyone cheers. They become rather popular pretty quickly. Elfilin sees this and wants to be a steamer too, so he makes a YouTube channel named 'elfilingamer87' and streams his gameplay of Kirby's Dream Buffet. Unfortunately he ends up having only one subscriber, which makes him extremely sad because he thinks Elfilis will be disappointed in him if they find out. William Afton, a human, tricks him into being experimented on in exchange of fame and knowing who that one subscriber is. Turns out that one subscriber was Elfilis themself, who had been advertising his channel like crazy.

Gijinka:

Normal People AU

Void is actually a corporation where a huge accident took place, leading to the death of four important employees(?) and their partners. Their children (the heroes of yore) are childhood friends who got separated in their teenage years (Elfilis moved to London, the others idk) so with the death of their parents they're trying to find eachother and help eachother out.

Kirby is Meta Knight's adopted son and Meta Knight is Galacta's brother

Despite the setup, this one is also very Elfilis-centric and focuses on them raising their twin siblings on their own.

Miitopia:

The first one I kinda abbandoned

The only non-Elfilis-centric one because Forgotten Land wasn't out yet

Void (who I headcanon as the creator god of Kirby) is trappen inside a universe that is not their own, which leads them to dark curse out

The main hero is Kirby (miitopia), the Great Sage is Nova for some reason and the Dark Lord is Zero.

Great Sage Elfilis

Elfilis is basically Lucifer from Christianity, except that instead of falling down to hell they fall to the mortal world and are thought to be the child of god (who is actually Kirby). And they're also amnesiac.

Elfilin and Forgo are manifestations of their feelings. Forgo becomes the curse and Elfilin sets out to save the world, but Elfilis is intrigued to why this random ass child looks so much like them so he takes him under their wing.

Princet Elfilis

Mousies are very beautiful children who destroy the orphanage they were in to escape and are adopted by King Dream Minecraft. But King Dream Minecraft is a horrible person so Elfilis and Galacta (the head knight of Dreamhorne who became Elfilis' best friend) manage to get him exiled and Lizzie becomes the new monarch.

The first one again but Elfilis

In the first AU, Galacta plays the role of the town guide, and is an ex warrior who was exiled for being too violent and runs a bar now. He briefly takes care of Void.

In this AU, Elfilis there as well alongside Galacta, although they left willingly after a fight with William Afton.

They heavily dislike Void, which leads them and Galacta to get possessed.

obama is an underrated miitopia character but hes also like in a weird position in my mind of i think abt him he dissapear anyways i have funny useless headcanons abt him. do you know they used to call him the drift idol president vampire back in college. he has a turkey name turquoise and the name is shorten to turtle. he runs a youtube channel. he tutors chat on how to fight god and theres a board in his house just call "HOW TO DEFEAT GOD" and every day it gets more insane (the dread section of the board is probably the best one, featuring "talk like bread" when goofy was high off his balls and got into obama's house for vodka (obama keeps it because he truly believe goofy is right about it) and "divorce your gay bestie while mid fight god") have you seen those like backless shirts for birb people? he wears them. r/pornhubcomments love him. he doesnt know about the vodka stash in his house. a mr bean plush lives on his bedroom window (turtle fucking hates it). he has a babygirl its wednesday dont forget to sparkle on and be yourself cardboard cutout of himself that chat gifted him.

Miitopia is in a group of games i like to call the "games that are silly but have surprisingly good and sometimes deep and or disturbing stories" with games like hatoful boyfriend, the murder of sonic the hedgehog, and splatoon

Sure all of these vary in how serious and such their lore is but id still say in a general sense

And what makes miitopia so special is just how personal you can make it compared to these other kinds of games

You can be the hero or an oc

You can make everything funny memes

And while everyone will react to the story differently there really is something special about miitopia to me, the conversation with dominic before the skyscraper, the bond between the hero and their first party member (which depending on who you cast can be read as romantic), the kindness of the hero if you decide to save the dark curse, heck the dark curse's backstory in general

And you can do it all in a frilly idol costume
