Muscle Ups en anillas
Las anillas son definitivamente una de las mejores herramientas para el trabajo del tren superior del cuerpo.
Alguno de los factores que considero que la hacen tan efectivas es que al estar sueltas, estas se mueven en 360 grados, en tu patrón más débil, si tu eres débil en una posición se mueven a otro lado, hasta que desarrollas la fuerza necesaria para controlarlas. te hacen muy estable y muy fuerte.
Otra cosa es que se logra un fenómeno llamado Cadena cinética cerrada (Close kinetic chain). Tienes que aprender a manipular el centro de tu cuerpo que esta sostenido por solo dos puntos (que no están del todo fijo).
esto dentro de muchísimas otras ventajas.
Uno de los primeros ejercicios que aprendi a hacer cuando comencé a practicar con anillas fue el Muscle Ups. El muscle ups es un ejercicio que básicamente es un pull up seguido por un dip, y es utilizado para llevarte de la parte de abajo de las anillas a la parte de arriba.
Casi todo el mundo puede hacer pull ups y dips, pero la transición suele ser el eslabón débil que impide a la mayoría realizar un muscle ups ya que require un cierto nivel de fuerza y coordinación.
a continuación hay una serie de ejercicios que me ayudaron a realizar mis muscle ups estrictos en muy poco tiempo, estos ejercicios los realice bajo mis entrenamientos con Ido Portal.

In parkour we always called this move a ‘baby giant’. Giant being the gymnastics move where you swing 360 around the bar with your body in a straight handstand position. 🤸🏼♂️ It’s not hard to attempt it’s essentially just a ‘ninja get up’, the easiest way to go from below a bar to on top of it as seen in the last clip (anyone got another name for it?), but you pull hard enough up at the right angle that you clear the bar with your hips, stomach and chest. It’s a good combination of strength, swing, timing and spacial awareness. 👌🏼 I’ve not been able to do it in years but with my frequent training now I’ve attempted it every few weeks just to see how it feels and finally rekindled it yesterday! I believe from a mixture of all the kipping pull-ups and bouldering I’ve been doing lately 🐵 Maybe one to try next time your hanging on a bar with space above? Or perhaps you already got it?
