“no, yeah,” she grins, nails pressed against her lips, biting down on the bottom. she’s never actually been on a podcast before. “we were talking about making an appearance somewhere, but i’m kinda - very - intimidated by men. i chose this podcast specifically.”

“oh, you know of our existence,” emma gushes, giggling slightly. “we feel so honoured. thank you so much.”

“honestly, i’m always around men,” she laughs, scrunching her nose. “i live with a man. so being around women is always a very nice change.”

“right, you recently moved in with logan sargeant in the uk,” hannah points out. “if you don’t mind me asking, how did that decision come about? because you’re really good friends with oscar piastri as well, how come he doesn’t live with you guys?”

“oh, that’s an interesting point,” emma frowns. “i never thought of that.”

“yeah, so growing up oscar and logan actually stayed with my family on and off just because they’ve got brothers and sisters that their parents would have to attend to back home,” she recalls out loud, remembering the sleepovers they’ve spend in the living room with her siblings. “i think when i was… like 15, oscar was 16, and logan was 17, obviously.

i think my sister and i had a really bad fight that turned the house upside down. i mentioned that i couldn’t wait to move out and never speak to her again — i was very overdramatic as a teen. and they were like ‘yeah, that’s a good idea! we should get a place!’”

“oh, so you didn’t even propose the idea of living together?”

“exactly! they just love inviting themselves to be a part of my life. they’ve got cars while i don’t, so that’s a big plus,” she laughs. “then, well, oscar met lily when he was 18 and they got an apartment together after oscar landed reserve driver for alpine. which then left logan and i to kinda figure things out. then, we both landed a contract to race in the 2023 season and both our racing headquarters are in uk, luckily. so we made the decision to move in together earlier this year.”

“so oscar bailed!”

“that’s okay,” she scoffs, waving off the host’s concern. “we live pretty close by, so lily and oscar are always at our place anyway.”

“so, i totally don’t wanna get into it. but like, girl to girl,” hannah grins giddily. “and i promise we’ll get into the racing stuff in a bit, but i’m just curious.”

“it’s okay because i like you guys,” she jokes. “ask away.”

“there’s a lot of speculation that you and logan seem to be too close to just be best friends,” hannah explains. “and it’s seemed to be a trend since you were in f2 together, so i just wanna ask you if… well…”

she smiles. this isn’t exactly the first time she’s heard that. while they preferred to keep their relationship under wraps for several reasons, her and logan aren’t very discreet either.

there are pictures on the internet, after races where they head to weigh-in together with logan holding her things, laughing as they walk, which is normal. but there are also a couple of pictures where they were caught with logan’s hand on her cheek, or of them walking in the paddocks with her hands wrapped around his arm.

she’s not shocked that people talk about their relationship, but more shocked that everyone seems to shrug it off as them being really good friends.

“we’re actually not romantically involved at all,” she lies, though her cheeks flush up at the thought of her boyfriend. “i think we met really early on in life so we’re super comfortable with each other.”

“so, you’re setting the record straight. you don’t have a man.”

imagine instead of oscar flat out telling him little sainz left her ring at his place oscar menace piastri starts wearing it around his neck on chain (i live and die for this trope oh my god). and the other drivers who’ve become acquainted with little sainz from years of carlos bringing her to races are like… “hold on is that what i think it is around the baby rookie’s neck😦?” i wanna imagine lando and charles are like lowkey laughing about it because carlos looks like he could literally murder oscar (or hire someone to do it) meanwhile oscar is just smugly staring at him as little sainz dotes on him while wearing his racing number (it’d be funny if a dts episode was about their beef and lil sainz is just sitting there all pretty like “???”)

ok i didnt mean to write all this sorry not sorry. ending is rushed bc i realized it was Long. checked word count and its just over 1.4k so im adding a read more 🫶🏻

he ends up falling for her even though he just wanted to fuck with carlos, it takes him months to get into her pants and he’s so focused on the destination he forgets about the journey get there. he doesn’t realize he’s falling for her bc he’s never been in love before, so he doesn’t recognize it.

maybe the ring is very obvious like its gold with three diamonds on the front, he goes out and buys a matching gold chain that morning and he suddenly feels guilty for using her to get to carlos so he buys her a tennis bracelet to replace the ring he slipped off her finger. she’s awake and pouting when he gets back and immediately asks why he left. he silently holds up the jewelry store bag as he crawls back into bed with her. she immediately notices her ring dangling from his neck and reaches out to grasp it. she doesn’t know why but seeing him wearing it around his neck makes her stomach flutter. then he’s pulling a velvet box out of the bag and opening it to reveal a much prettier bracelet. he still doesn’t say anything as he clasps it around her wrist, and then he kisses her wrist right over her pulse point and murmurs, “just wanted to treat you.”

everyone immediately notices her bracelet when she shows up to the paddock and makes her way to carlos’s garage. he notices her ring is gone and the shiny bracelet has replaced it on her wrist and he takes her hand and asks where the ring is and where the bracelet came from? she wiggles her fingers and says, “i guess i forgot to put it on this morning. bracelet is new.” he pushes it out of his mind, tries to ignore the fact that she’d had only forgotten it a single day since their mother gifted it to her. she’d had a panic attack the one time she almost did leave it at home, and they nearly missed their flight turning around to get it. if she had forgotten it this morning, why wasn’t she freaking out?

lando would see it dangling around oscar’s neck as soon as he arrives at the track and they greet each other. he remembers seeing it on her finger every race weekend when he was carlos’s teammate, so he clocks it instantly and pulls him aside. “you didn’t? there’s no way-“ and oscar immediately knows what he’s talking about and lifts it up to show it off like a trophy, “it was too small for my fingers.” and lando’s kind of jealous because he may or may not have tried asking her out once or twice. but that fades as soon as he realizes carlos is going to notice immediately too. he’s extremely protective over her because their dad was never always off racing and he’s a few years older than her, she’s like oscar’s age or a year younger maybe?? idk she’s just baby and carlos will protect her until he dies. he’s vetting every boyfriend; running background checks and hiring private investigators to find their ex girlfriends and interview them before they get his approval to date his little sister.

carlos noticed it hours later, when oscar, lando, and him are in a press conference together. lando keeps laughing out of nowhere and carlos keeps asking what he’s laughing at, which makes him laugh more. they almost make it to the end without him noticing it. oscar gets asked a question and he drops the pendant he’s been sucking on from between his lips. carlos had noticed the imprint of something under his shirt earlier and out of the corner of his eye saw him pull it out of his shirt and then put it in his mouth. immediately carlos recognizes it and knows exactly why his sister wasn’t wearing her ring when he saw her that morning. he thought it was weird when oscar suddenly put the pendant between his lips, but he realizes oscar had done it so he would see it. lando notices his shocked stare and bursts out laughing again. oscar’s smirking while answering the question about the upcoming race. carlos is holding himself back from pummeling oscar on camera, and as soon as they’re saying the conference is over, lando’s standing up and blocking him as he tries to launch himself at oscar.

everyone is so confused about what’s going on, but lando and oscar are laughing while carlos hurls threats and insults, and lando holds him back. unfortunately the cameras are still rolling and catch carlos saying oscar defiled his baby sister. somehow oscar gets out of the conference room and is whisked away by his team to ask him what is going on and what carlos is talking about? and he just can’t stop grinning because he got exactly the reaction he was looking for.

carlos finding his sister and dragging her away to his drivers room and asking her why? why him of all people. she knows anyone on the grid would bow down before her if she asked. so why did she fuck the one man he hates? and she’s like “oh my god don’t say fuck. it’s not like that.” and he asks, “what’s it like then? why do you think he did this? do you think it was anything more than a fuck to him?” and that makes her so sad, she starts tearing up and backing away from him because he’s never said anything like that to her before. she’s regretting everything and doubting everything oscar’s said to her the entire season, how perfect and kind he’s been, all the nights she laid in bed thinking about how maybe she could bring them together. her and lando could work together and make them get along. but all that is crushed hearing carlos’s words. he immediately regrets them of course, he still thinks they are true but wishes he never said them to her. he tries to grab her but she’s already out of his drivers room and when he follows her, she’s already gone.

he’d search until someone finally says they saw her leave with oscar and he’s even angrier because his words pushed her right into his arms, where he didn’t want her. he just texts his manager that he’s leaving and wonders what excuse oscar gave to get out of his media duties. he’s calling her the entire ride back to his hotel, and then he gets there and remembers that the mclaren drivers are in a different hotel and that’s definitely where they went. he has no clue where she is, probably for the first time ever. he goes to the hotel bar and has a drink as he spams her with calls until they stop going through. he calls lando but lando won’t tell him anything, apparently oscar and his sister swore him to secrecy when they left and she was sobbing and begged him not to tell her brother.

oscar wouldn’t know what to do when she shows up in his drivers room crying but he knows carlos has to be near and he doesn’t fancy getting his ass beat so he books it. lando covers for him after seeing the state she’s in. oscar’s got three sisters so he knows how to console a crying woman, he stops at a store and leaves her in the car to fetch chocolates and flowers and whatever else he sees that she might like before he takes her back to his hotel room. she cries for an hour before he finds out what’s wrong. she’s cried all her tears away and has gone through a box of tissues before she finally tells him what carlos said and how his words hurt her but it’s the thought that oscar would use her like that, make her fall for him just to get under carlos’s skin. she tells him that she knows he wouldn’t do that, that while he acts all cold and reserved with everyone else he’s completely different when they’re alone, and she know’s that’s the real him. then she’s cupping his cheeks and he’s thinking about how pretty she looks after crying, and she’s asking him to promise her he wasn’t lying to her like carlos said. and he actually feels something, he doesn’t know what the unfamiliar tug in his stomach is, guilt? pain? love? he tells himself it’s not the last one as he promises her that he wasn’t lying and wraps her up in his arms and tells her to go to bed, because he’s not going anywhere. the kiss he presses to the crown of her head makes her trust his words, no matter how untrue the first half is.

Laws of Attraction Ep 3

I just want to say that Laws of Attraction is a series that I didn't expect from BL, but that I always wanted.

(Due to the fact that I am writing this only after 3 episodes, and I already love it so much and I’m hooked, I am officially starting my traditional ritual accompanying every series I like, i.e. before each new episode my fear and anxiety increase: will this be the episode that will screw up the whole series and disappoint me, also whether the creators will end the story in a satisfactory way.)

Every character in LoA is well written, including the villains. For example, the senator is a real asshole, but like a real asshole, and for me, he comes off better than Vegas's father as a villain and abusive parent, I mean more real, less cartoonish.

Tanthai and Thee's relationship is getting more and more interesting. I have to praise the actor playing Thee: how he manages to capture a colossal amount of longing, agony and want in just one look is amazing. And very beautiful. I have a problem with Tanthai because on the one hand his home situation and suicidal tendencies makes me feel sorry for him and make him a very compelling character, on the other hand every time I see him I think about that dead little girl. Until it's made clear that he didn't do it, I can't bring myself to fully embrace the second pair, although they are so appealing and tick all the right boxes :)

Charn and Tinn... oh boy. I love them. I LOVE THEM. I like everything about them, so I will stop here, because whatever I write, it would be just a boring love letter to these two. I like Film and Jam so much, they play their characters perfectly (like everyone on this show). Whenever they are in any scene together, I literally think all the time that they are about to kiss, the chemistry between them is so strong. Also, I like Tinn practically never taking his eyes off Charn when they're together (like Thee from Tanthai) 🥰 And I like Tinn not taking any bullshit from Charn 😀

Laws of Attraction shows how circumstances and trauma affect the choices and morality of even the best of people. That sometimes a person experiences such great evil that their personality changes completely. Now we'll see if Tinn keeps his ideals or gives up like Charn. (Or will he choose something in between?) We will also observe what the cornered Tanthai will do, whose borders are being pushed more and more with each episode. We can already see that rebellion mixed with fatalism is born in him, which is a very dangerous mixture. What will Thee do, who has practically no good options on how to help Tanthai, because any of his involvement will end in separation from him? And what will Charn do seeing that his choices alienate him from Tinn? I just hope it doesn't suddenly become good...

LoA has created two amazing couples, both of them are very appealing and attractive to me, which practically NEVER happens. Also beautiful boys, moral bankrupts, lots of sexual tension, banter, well written and engaging conversations and fights, men with their beliefs, men broken and damaged... this is it!!!!! 💖✨💖

Why I’ve been gone? (:

Hi! Hello, I hope everyone is having a good summer and such. This is kinda an update? On my life and such bc I feel bad going ghost all the time.. lol. This is going to be a bit of a rant about some personal issues and stuff, so if you feel like you’re not mentally ready or something to get into other people’s problems, I understand so well and please don’t read, but I hope you have a nice day (; anyway, let me get into it.. cause a lot of stuff happened for me I think, and honestly I don’t know where else to get it out than here lol. So I hope this kinda puts into perspective why I go ghost so much.

So… I sorta just, had a bit of a breakdown and I didn’t show up to any of my exams. And yk, of course I got kicked out of school. I don’t even really mind that much because I REALLY didn’t want to go there anymore lol, but my family was so disappointed. And I had to tell them I just dropped out because they would literally disown me if I said I got kicked out 🤨 so that’s just been, pretty stressful living with all my own lies lol. And it’s totally my own fault too 💀

Anyways, I also just last month got diagnosed with autism and adhd and I kinda did have lt suspicions but it’s just.. it’s a lot honestly, because even though it doesn’t really change anything I feel like I have to live with a diagnosis. I don’t know, but I’m glad I at least got a good explanation for why I do some silly and goofy things sometimes 😀

The last thing I don’t want to get into too much.. because it’s still kinda fresh I suppose? But I really need to get it off my chest soooo 🧍🏻‍♀️But, I got bullied like A LOT in eight grade, very fun yk it really gave me some silly ass self esteem issues but it is what it is. Anyways, two of my really good friends bullied me too then, or at least I felt like they were part of it. But that’s just from my perspective, I kinda got over it because they’re my oldest friends and I feel like stuff went back to normal (a lot of time has passed I’m obviously not in eighth grade no I’m eighteen 😸) but, idk it’s still kinda just a not so nice memory. And I feel like we all apologized to each other and it’s fine and all.. but then I was joking a lot about it because that’s what you do when you don’t wanna process something yk. And they got really really mad at me and said that they never bullied me and that I gaslight them into thinking they did and whatever. And I feel so fucking bad because first off I didn’t even know I did that? I don’t feel like I’m doing that? But uhhh.. idk, maybe I am really tone deaf or something. But the point is that they said I keep playing victim and they did nothing wrong, and I CANNOT handle confrontation so I just apologized a lot? Because I feel terrible? But also.. it felt like I just apologized for getting bullied which like, it has even taken me SO MUCH to admit that I did get bullied. The whole situation just left a sour taste in my mouth cause they were being weirdly defensive and I just.. idk it just suck balls man. After all that, I kinda decided to cut them off. Maybe I am the bad guy here and I’m so fucking sorry, but still, I just don’t think that what they said and did was right either. It sucks losing your oldest friends, it really does. But I’m very lucky to have really kind and supportive friends still, people that really value me and thinks that my thoughts and opinions are valid lol. Idk,,, I’ve just been thinking about this a lot haha 🥸

Rant about people during the pandemic

I’ve always been a person who hosts game nights or holiday themed events and I do it in my one bedroom apartment lol but the last one I hosted was a New Year’s party in 2019 going into 2020 and every time I thought to host after that I wasn’t in the mood really or my friends were spread out all over and there’s always the looming anxiety that someone is gonna show up sick.

I finally hosted again last night a Grinch Game Night so that everyone could see my Whoville decorations up close and someone did show up sick 😀 I’m crossing my fingers that what she had was just a regular cold 😀

She didn’t say anything ahead of time and she had already been there for so long before she started talking about how on Christmas she did go with her bf to visit his parents and I already knew that his parents were sick with Covid so I’m sure I made a face bc why did y’all go?? Okay it’s Christmas but they have Covid it’s okay to NOT GO INTO THEIR HOUSE AND SIT WITH THEM! She was like oh yeah they were all masked up okay whatever and then later goes on to say how her bf is staying with her rn and she went to go sleep in her guest room bc he’s so congested 😀😀 and each night he comes to find her anyway 😀 like y’all went to see his parents and now he’s congested 😀😀 and you’re in the same house with him and you came to mine ??? 😀 WHY? And she even tried to bring him asking me if my game night was co Ed and I was like no bc I don’t have any guys friends lol but she would’ve brought his congested ass to the game night ??? And she coughed a few times and drank water so I thought it was just idek 😩 a dry throat or something

I had my windows open and my HEPA air purifier going so I’m hoping that was enough and I lysoled everything as soon as she left. It’s just like 😩 why are people like this?? This wasn’t going to be the game night of the century it’s okay to say you’re not feeling well and stay home! I literally haven’t gone anywhere while I was feeling any kind of symptoms and it’s not hard at all! Don’t even think anyone remembers smh and then it puts me in the horrible position of having to be a bitch about it bc what was I supposed to even do in that situation? Slap a mask on her and kick her out? Probably 😭 I literally don’t know how I would do that.

I’m also the only one of not just my friends but family and people I know that still wears a mask to places and they tell me stories of sick people around them and sick coworkers coming into the office and how they “hope” they don’t catch anything but it’s like …just wear the mask and you won’t catch anything 🙄

A couple weeks ago my aunt was telling me how sick she felt on Wednesday and how she felt sick on Monday and Tuesday and she had showed up unmasked to my apt Sunday to have coffee with me and I’m like 😩😩 BROOO and she kept saying how “it’s the AC at work that is making her cough” I tell her that’s not a thing and tell her to take a Covid test she’s like oh she doesn’t have any….so I had to bring her tests and then she was like I HAVE to stay with her to take it bc she doesn’t know how to do it and I was wearing my N95 bc I know her and that positive line was so dark so fast smh and she still had the audacity to say “the AC activated the Covid on me” like wtf are you even talking about?? 🙄 meanwhile she works in a doctors office wearing those thin blue masks that she claims suffocate her and idek if she wears them all day for real or if she just says that to me bc she knows how I feel about masks and then she went unmasked to Christmas caroling at her church and it’s now two weeks later and she’s still feeling sick and testing positive (she’s also unvaxed and thinks saying in Jesus name is enough 🙄) and she has to go get groceries so I tell her to wear a real mask and not that useless ass blue one and she goes I don’t have any masks 🙄 of course you don’t it’s been 3 years of her taking a handful of my masks bc she refuses to get her own and she finally bought some KF94s and some N95s but why did it take you getting Covid and seeing that it’s not a joke to buy your own masks?? idek I’m just so turned off by everyone.

And by no means am I like a perfect mask wearer like I still go out to restaurants and clubs but I don’t go to the bigger ones anymore and I use my nasal spray for the time that I’m there and that’s been working for me so far. Sometimes I forget to put one on in the Uber but most times I have mine on the driver puts theirs on too so that’s nice. And I was traveling earlier this month and sooooo many people were coughing ugly coughs unmasked echoing each other and had the nerve to look at me weird for wearing a mask like they’re not a walking test tube of illnesses 🥴

I just don’t understand what the problem is like is it denial?? Delusion?? Fear?? None of it makes any sense to me bc if you’re afraid why not take precautions? If you’re gonna feel embarrassed and keep your sickness a secret why not take precautions? Also why claim that your Covid symptoms are these random ass illnesses instead of just taking a test and finding out? The entire 3 years only one person recently has been sick and thought it was Covid and it was actually bronchitis. Everyone else I know that’s been sick over the 3 years has been sick with Covid. One person I know refused to take a test bc they were sure it wasn’t Covid even after listing all the symptoms and was like “actually it’s just a summer flu” mmmm I doubt it bc you just came back from a work conference 🙄 I even have a friend who works at a daycare and no one masks and they are sick at least once a month bc they catch whatever random virus these kids are carrying that week and they act like that’s just life and there’s nothing they can do about it smh

I guess I’m just tired of being the only one.

headcanon 1 - when and how did zack fair learn about the birds and the bees?: starting out with a banger lol. zack was about 13, give or take, and his friends started to ✨wonder✨ about some ✨things✨. however, everything related to sex was absolutely banned in the fair household, so zack actually grew up pretty innocent. but, like i said, his friends from school and his neighborhood began to get curious. and they had older brothers. i think you know where this is going lol. anyways, he was at one of his friends’ house, and this friend had an older brother. they were in the friend’s room and the brother came in and all of the sudden, the friend started asking some questions and zack just kinda sat there like 😀. then the friend’s brother pulled out a magazine that had a naked woman on the front and showed it to zack and his friend. his friend was awestruck by the photo, but zack was so startled that he physically fell backwards and his mouth just hung open for a solid 30 seconds. zack, both horrified yet intrigued, learned many things that day.

headcanon 2 - what keeps zack fair up at night?: oh, this will be a delight to tell. zack has this memory of when he was about 9 years old. the whole town had congregated for a celebration of some sort, and zack had been asking literally everyone at the party that he had lost his virginity and if they could help him find it. now, he didn’t actually mean that he lost his virginity. he was helping his mom cook and had lost the virgin olive oil, and thought that virgin and virginity were interchangeable. i swear, this memory haunts the man. he thinks about it every night and just relives it in horror.

headcanon 3 - how does zack fair feel about his middle name?: so lmao. zack’s full name is zackary troy fair. yup. you heard that right. troy. his parents must’ve known at birth that he was destined for greatness with a name like that. and zack is extremely embarrassed by it. when he was little, he thought it was cool. he sounded like a dang superhero! but then he got into school and got heavily bullied for it. so now he’s kinda self conscious about anyone finding out his middle name. angeal knows because it came up in a random conversation and zack trusted angeal with the knowledge. when zack sheepishly told him about ~troy~, angeal chuckled and said “hey, at least it’s not marian”, and zack was like no fucking way. and that’s the story of how zack learned angeal’s middle name is marian lmao.

headcanon 4 - what was zack fair’s first kiss like?: so, remember how in the first headcanon i said that his friends got curious? this is another story with that lol. different friend, but again, at around the age of 13, zack and his friend were randomly like “what’s kissing like??”. so, as an experiment, zack literally kissed the homie. that was also the day that zack realized he was bisexual and also liked men.

Hi I wanna say something about this thing that came in! I just wanna say no hate to that person but I wanna clarify some things since we clearly steer away from canon and see fanon as real

1. Snape is a death eater, (in that time period he was) that doesn’t change, also in his memory’s he’s biased seeing as he never properly mentioned the fact that he is a death eater and he called Lily a mud blood. Clearly only showing James and the marauders as bad people and not what he himself done wrong. True they bullied him, but we don’t know he didn’t do it back. (Since he’s an unreliable narrator) and also he still is a bully. Even when he’s an adult, and that didnt just come out from nowhere.

2. James never chased lily, that is something everyone made up in the early marauders fandom days. We have no canon proof of this. What we do canonically know is that lily liked James a lot. And vice versa.

3. Sirius is mean to kreacher but let’s not forget that kreacher is also a pureblood supremacist. (Even though he’s literally a house elf?!?) and that he treated the golden trio very unfairly in the books, so who’s to say he didn’t do the same to Sirius.

4. Peter there’s no denying😀 but we know that it came as a shocker that he would betray anyone so that shows that he’s a nice, gentle person

5. Remus has never done anything bad, and if we wanna go off of who hangs out with who: snape deserved to get bullied and put into place. And lily is also a shit person then for hanging out with a death eater.

6. Prankster never means bad, the weasley twins were very liked and they were the school pranksters.

Again everyone’s own opinion! But wanna clear these things up.

i think that their first point was less about the ethics of bullying snape (a death eater/terrible person) and more about the fact that they're capable of the behavior in general. like, i somewhat agree, he totally deserved to be bullied, but it does show that they were capable of being a jerk if they wanted to be

Daily Summaries :

Monday-

Everyone was getting there, it was the first day so i sort of just hung out with my friend I arrived with on sunday. The first day is usually pretty slow and boring. We went and got subway for lunch and I was able to meet a few new people:))

Tuesday -

The second day was much more interesting. Our campaign had begun and after evening chapel they did the thing where two people slap each other in the face with tortillas and water in their mouth. I volunteered to do it with someone, won, and now I can proudly say that was the strangest way I’ve ever made a friend

Wednesday-

Wednesday was also pretty good. It was the heaviest topic of the week though. Sexuality and sexual sin. That nights devo had me almost in tears tbh. Anyway, the day was good, very fun, idk nothing significant happened besides me giving the person I met my “RI♡︎T” bracelet for the night.

Thursday-

THURSDAY WAS WILD, MY LORD—

I got my bracelet back, he never took it off 💀💀

during the time where you’d go be by yourself and pray/connect with god or whatever, I decided to work on a UFO cuff. After that time was over everyone came back to the mess hall, which I never left.. after I finished the cuff me and a few other people made some singles, some were matching.

during this, one of the people in our group showed me this

and asked me which one I was. I replied with yellow, green or white. then they showed that person I’d met before and I asked which one he thought I was. He replied with something along the lines of “i’m not gonna say🤡”

which like, damn just lie. How obvious can you be 💀💀

at some other point during the day I’s been complaining ab how my eyes felt sticky (because of they eyeliner I was wearing), and he goes “that’s because you wear like, 10 pounds of makeup.” And everyone was acting like he was genuinely on drugs or something because I literally only ever wear eyeliner😭🙏

but like, thanks tbh. Best compliment I’ve ever received. And it was an accident 💀

anyway, after that was all done with me and that person ended up like resting our head on the table because GOD DAYUM camp is tiring 😔😔😔

i did this with one of my friends the previous camp week as well so I didn’t think much of it until his hat was placed on my head😀🔫…..

anyway, I ended up moving because they had started the last session w/out me, and he followed, which I was expecting tbh. I had been listening to music and the song “Do I Wanna Know” by Arctic Monkeys started playing, and I guess I’d checked the time or something because is was on my phone screen and whenever he saw the song he got all excited. I offered him an earbud and he accepted it, so we ended up listening to my spotify together for a while. I had a sweater on and got a bit warm, so I took it off and set it on the table, and he goes and is like “i’m cold I’m gonna put this on.” And I can’t even object because like— i genuinely dont know 💀💀💀like I just didn’t care 🤡

After the campaign ends we end up scribbling all over my stats sheet.

I go take a piss and when I get back we have to go outside for prayer before dinner (Mind you I’m still wearing the hat—). I get outside and go to the end of the line where my other friends are and one of them brings it to my attention that it looks like me and the other guy are dating, which like, it had come up in my thoughts but I thought it was fine because like, I do this sort of thing with all my friends. And he’s like, “do you really want him to ask you out??,:\” because he’s genuinely looking out for me, and I respond, “I-I don’t know?… Not really?”

and so he tells me to give the hat back, but I argue saying that I like the hat and I look good in a hat(god save my soul💀).

anyway, after dinner I give him my phone, because by this point we were still listening to music. When I have him the phone it was playing my roller blading playlist. When I got it BACK, however… it was playing this one:

Granted, it was playing the one cavetown song that he knew, but like, that song is on most of my playlists… pretty sure it’s on my roller blading playlist, idk though.

My OTHER friend eventually took the hat from me and gave it back, which like. I was disappointed. It was a nice hat.

anyway, after that whole everything was pointed out to me, I did notice that he was following me around. Like, we had been doing um… this

and whenever they told me to get in, idk why but they let the other rat push the car thingy. He purposefully CRASHED the damn thing and I fell backwards into the grass kinda hard, like it hurt. I have a bruise on my hip now 😭

and during evening chapel, we had a strong feeling he’d try to sit next to me, so my friend in the picture and our camp mother sat on either side of me for that.

after chapel was prayer circle. Everyone holds hands in the field and we do prayer requests, blah blah. I got there before he did, was already holding hands with two people, and he comes up behind us and like literally TRIES to get un next to me😭

worst part about that situation is that I HESITATED, like I almost willingly allowed it to happen 🤡

but i left and went to another part of the circle instead.

After prayer there was a baptism. We all went down to the pool, then I realized i was on the outside of two of my friends, and as soon as I realized that gave him an opening I was like “lemme get in the middle 😰🙏🙏🙏”

craziest part of the night was after all this when at one point we were like bullying each other and he said something about “that was my goal” when I said sm about like idk making me dislike him. Which, I thought was HILARIOUSLY IRONIC after the events of the day.

that night most of us stayed up until like 5 am doing this prank in the mess hall using bamboo shafts, styrofoam cups, and string lights to make Christmas in July

We went to the ball field, checked out this abandoned house, went back to the bath house and napped until 6, which is when we went back to our cabin and slept ti like 8.

Friday-

honestly I hated this day so much

I didn’t get to even say goodbye to like, half of my friends because they left without saying. I didn’t get all the contact information I wanted, and now I’m feeling very hollow and upset because I’m not gonna be able to see most of these people for another year. Some of them I may not even see then. I rotted in bed for a whole day and a half after and cried today because of how awful I feel after leaving. It feels like some sort of withdrawal and I hate it.
