"Meidän tietoomme on tullut tämän syksyn aikana kaksi eri tapausta, jossa sisällä oleva kissa on yhtäkkiä käyttäytynyt oudosti. Toinen raahasi yhtäkkiä takapäätään ikäänkuin halvaantuneena, toisessa kissa oli ollut kuin humalassa; poissaoleva ja harhaileva. Ensimmäinen kissa vietiin eläinlääkäriin ja syyksi paljastui myrkytys. Kun tarkemmin tutkittiin asiaa syyksi paljastui lattianpesuvesi, jossa oli joukossa Sanytol-nimistä desinfioivaa pesuainetta. Kissa oli juonut ämpäriin jäänyttä vettä ja saanut myrkytyksen. Onneksi kissa selvisi tiputuksessa munuaisten huuhtelulla ja toipui ennalleen. Ilmoittajan mukaan eläinlääkäri olisi laittanut tiedon myrkytyksestä eteenpäin viranomaisille, jotta tieto pesuaineesta eläinten kanssa olisi yleisemmin tiedossa. Toisessa tapauksessa oli kissan virtsaamisen jälkiä pyyhitty suihke-Sanytolilla. Kissalle riitti ilmeisesti pesuaineen tuoksu ja kissa meni täysin sekaisin pelkästään pesuaineen hajusta useiksi tunneiksi. Mikäli siivoukseen käyttää Sanytolia, pitää paikkaa tuulettaa hyvin (täytyy huolehtia myös ettei kissa karkaa ikkunasta) tai pyyhkiä vielä paikka pelkällä vedellä. Täytyy huolehtia ehdottomasti myös siitä, ettei pesuvesiä jää juotavaksi tai esim. moppi tai rätti jää niin, että kissa (tai muu eläin) pääse nuuhkimaan, nuolemaan tms sitä. Kyseistä ainetta myydään pullossa, suihkeena, siivousliinoina, pyykinpesuaineena, tahranpoistosineena, nestesaippuana jne. Se on hyvä ja tehokas aina sinällään, mutta eläinten kanssa tulee olla varovainen aina pesuaineiden kanssa, myös muiden kuin Sanytolin"]

I think that Daniel should get a little cat that he names something cute. like typo. and it should be the silliest dumbest creature in the world, and Armand should be so jealous of that cat that it still somehow makes him look stupid in comparison.

he's just like. you, feline companion to my beloved. most loathsome of creatures. i see through your foul ruse. my daniel may be taken in by your charms, but i will not be played for the fool. you seek to replace me in his esteems, and you may yet distract him for a time. but he will see the truth of you soon enough. your cruelty. batting him in the face with your dreadful claws while he is trying to rest. begging for your meals at the wicked hours of the morning and night! you will visit no more of these horrors upon him. know this, 'typo.' if you did not bring my daniel such joy i would see you removed from this home and cast out into street like a beggar. i suggest you watch your back.

shen yuan being animal obsessed to the point he starts trying to take everything remotely friendly home with him so one day returns with the xianxia equivalent of a scraggly possom that hisses at everyone it sees and that is definitely poisonous while still insisting its a little baby that needs a home

airplane never really expanded on the common creature worldbuilding in pidw like pigeons and cats and rabbits and raccoons, so shen yuan started filling in the blanks himself and oh boy did he fill it wrong. he pets a fox-like creature the size of a cow with horns and hooves like it's a horse not knowing that would be like trying to pet a grizzly bear. he coos over the owl-cats that live under overhangs and in dusty attics and really really wants one until liu qingge has to drag him away because they're some of the most awful aggressive pests you can have that swoop down on people and claw their faces open when they're mildly displeased.

one time he walked onto his peak with a six-legged spotted weasel in his sleeve bc it's so cute he just couldn't leave it!! not knowing said weasel is known as one of the most vicious predators because they tear through the calf muscles to cripple prey ten times their size and then eat them alive

however, because shen yuan has the disney princess subclass with a +7 proficiency in animal handling, it never goes wrong. he pets the fox-stag without an issue and it even allows him to climb onto its back. the owl-cats love him and happily play with his robes and fetch things for him. the six legged weasel lazes around the bamboo house all day and loves to be pet. the scaggly possom hisses at and hates everyone except shen yuan.

every other animal had to leave, except the possom. that is a fight they did not win. yue qingyuan only has so much strength and those teary eyes are lethal

Dale Bartholomew Cooper is transgender, not only is he transgender but Dale Cooper was his birth name. He just added the ‘Bartholomew’. He came out in 1961 and both of his parents were radically accepting. They wanted him to have a happy midcentury boyhood but it was difficult to provide, not because of his gender identity but because he was severely asthmatic and stalked by a manifestation of all of the evil in the world. Being transgender causes him little to no consternation. He is stealth but Albert does his medical evaluation every quarter so that is no obstacle. He occasionally forgets he is transgender.

At some point in your life, there will be a moment where exactly - or near exactly - half the people in the world are younger than you, and half the people are older.

And I think that moment should be the one your soulmate Mark appears at, not at birth or puberty or something. Both because at birth is kind of boring but it's also very you-centric and soulmates are about the thing outside of you being a part of you, and I think it would be nice to include The World.

But also I think it would have fascinating implications for scientific and social studies. Longevity trends tracked by the average age soul marks appear. Tragedies causing a rash of recent marks to disappear (because the people are no longer the middle). Marks appearing early during baby booms.
