Hello, and welcome to my nerdy little spot! :) I'm BB, I'm 24, and I'm a queer Korean American college student living in upstate NY :))

I'm genderfluid and nonbinary, and go by they/them. I'm also pan and demisexual, but I also vibe with bi as a label, so I just generally describe myself as queer when it comes to my orientation labels :)

I post about Daniel Jackson (Stargate SG-1) and K-Pop the most (I’ve been a multistan since 2012!). I'm also new to self-shipping, and currently write about my f/o and s/i, Daniel Jackson and Ji-Yu, respectively. I also write the occasional Daniel Jackson x Reader fic, as well as some Stargate headcanons, but I am a full-time uni student with a part-time job, so my ability to write fanfic is generally sporadic lol. I am interested in requests and ideas for both of these SG-ventures, so my rules are under the cut and my ask box is open! :)

I'm not likely to write a lot of nsfw posts, but I do reblog some occasionally, so minors DNI or you will be blocked. Ageless blogs who interact with nsfw posts and reblogs will also be blocked. Other DNI are pretty basic in my opinion but alas, basic human rights aren't considered such by everyone. Just don't be a bigot or creep, and you can stay lol. Request Guidelines (Daniel Jackson x Reader; Stargate SG-1 Headcanons):

I'm pretty open to writing about most things, but I will not write about suicide, self-harm, ED, incest, rape/noncon/dubcon, furries/hybrids, horror, heavy gore, or anything else that I find triggering or uncomfortable. If something comes up that isn't included in this list, I won't be writing it, but I will let you know just so your ask doesn't go unanswered :)

I write my y/n fics to be gender-neutral by default, but if you have any pronouns/labels/identities/adjectives/etc. that you would prefer for the reader, please include it in your request and I'll be more than happy to include it!

Self-Ship Update:

Regarding my self-ship, "Can I touch your heart?", I currently have a handful of chapters uploaded for the series, but I plan to rewrite it and reboot it sometime this year (2024). Ji-Yu being a Korean princess from a planet resembling the Joseon Dynasty, joining the Tau'ri, and her and Daniel getting together will be kept the same, but the general background and quality of the plot will be improved in the rewrite. The link to the original version of "Can I touch your heart?" can be found below, but I might remove the link and retag older chapters for the sake of the rewritten version I'll be posting in the future. I would also be SO happy if anyone who reads/enjoys "Can I touch your heart?" leaves me questions/thoughts/ask games questions in my inbox about the series, whether it be about Ji-Yu, her and Daniel, the future of the plot, thoughts/theories/headcanons/etc. It would make me so happy and I would appreciate it so much if you do! ^^

Greetings, everyone! Okay, so I decided to make some changes to the blog-

I will still be posting my regular content, but apparently my dumb of ass decided they want to try something new- I want to extend the hand of inspiration to @aster-saturn because I am but a simple pup; what I do mean is I want to create content for c.AI bots - as well as canon x reader asks for interested parties! For the x Readers, this also includes any specific headcanons you might want for canon characters as well! I'm down for accepting, well, almost anything-

To keep things organized, I'll list some of the regulations and guidelines for sending me asks!

a. be respectful. this is self explanatory, but i do have a life outside of tumblr and can't always be responding to asks; i will still do my best to answer as quickly as i can since i tend to come on at night anyway!

b. i do utilize a lot of self indulgent headcanons while still sticking true with their personalities as best i can (unless i feel this needs to be expanded upon). due to this, i am asking that you don't take my interpretations to be 'canon' as this is all just for fun

c. asks must remain sfw- while i do occasionally reblog some adult-themed content, this will not be applied to requests. this is mostly for my own safety and the comfort of others

d. you can request practically anything- from x reader asks about imagined romantic scenarios or you can also just ask for generic scenarios and/or headcanons for canons without needing to be about x reader!

e. in general, this page accepts self inserts and original characters - hence x reader asks! - so, if you don't support that- i have no idea why you're here-

f. c.AI bots can be a little suggestive, but i do ask that you're at least eighteen or older- if your blog doesn't have a way of confirming age, well, the ask might have to change

What kind of asks will I be accepting?

~ For starters, I accept anything from angst to lighthearted romcom tropes! I do lean a bit to angst but honestly anything is fine with me! The only exceptions are if it's heavy on the smut side or is something I would be uncomfortable with

~ For x Reader, it can be virtually any imagined scenario from fluff to angst and anything in between. I do highly ask that you don't send scenarios about characters cheating on one another as that makes me severely uncomfortable

~ Headcanons! This gives me a way to just freely infodump and depending on what is being shared, they may be debuting as official headcanons in my fanfics!

~ I only do fandom characters! Please do not send me anything to do with the actors; only their character selves

~ Requesting Alternate Universes and Crossovers is perfectly acceptable! Canon is also accepted, but please specify which version you want when sending in the requests!

A big conversation (a.k.a. making my blog a more welcoming space for all readers)

Yo! Local smut peddler JHFTM here with some thoughts... I know we have all seen posts about how we get several paragraphs in to a good reader-insert fic, and we think it's very neutral with a welcoming vibe for all readers, and then the author mentions "blushing" or "a wisp of hair falling in your eyes" or "spanking until your ass is red" *record scratch* and it turns out that fic is very much NOT welcoming for non-white readers, or any readers who do not match that physical description.

And while I fully 100% support posts going around that tell white writers how to better avoid doing that, or how to fully label their fics so that people know right up front what's coming, I personally prefer to attack problems that bother me from the side of "what I can do" versus making yet another finger-wagging post "telling other white writers what to do"... so here's what I'm going to be working on in my free time over the next few weeks.

Stuff I'm gonna DO

1. I am going to go back through AAAALLLLLL of my own fics and re-label the 'Outline' to better describe the Reader insert character. Previously I was using "cis/het female" to describe a Reader insert who was AFAB (assigned female at birth), but it turns out upon review that a lot of my Reader Inserts don't actually NEED to be "het" in the story, so I'm going to strip that out. Future AFAB Reader Insert characters of mine will be labeled as "cis-female" if they're AFAB, and just "female" if they're not.

2. I'm going to scrub all my fics and look for ANY physical descriptors that "read as white" that I may have erroneously used, and strip them out. If you read my shit and you see anything that "reads" as white, please DM me!

3. Going forward, I will label all of my fics upfront with any physical descriptors that exist for the story, like if it's a "plus size female" or a "short female" character. I will also start using the tag "no physical or racial descriptors" as a label for my own fics, because it is super-important to me that ALL of my readers feel welcome. I want you to be able to insert yourself and have fun with your imagination, and I want my fics to be like sinking into a hot bubble bath.

4. I love to read and reblog and support my fellow writers! And I will not go around telling you what you should or should not be writing, but... if I read and love and want to reblog something that was labeled as a general reader insert fic, but it wasn't, then I'm going to label it for my followers with stuff like: "two mentions of hair pulling" or "one mention of skin turning red after spanking" or "one mention of pink cheeks from the sun". (It's not my place to police your work, but I will be striving to filter and appropriately label what I rec and what I reblog.)

Stuff I might do later when I have more time...

1. Update any of my current fics that are female to write and add a gender-neutral version.

2. Write more gender-neutral versions of fics.

3. Beta-read and keep an eye out for the stuff mentioned above. I am always open to beta-reading for my moots, and I try to err on the side of only giving you the feedback you want. However, if you send me a "blank slate" fic and it turns out to have any of the stuff mentioned above, I'll ask you to label it up front for your readers, or I can help suggest how to strip that type of descriptor out.
