I think every museum should display a solid IKB on its giant video screen every now and then (IKBSOD?)

Remember blackest black monopoly by Anish Kapoor and how Stuart Semple pinkest pink questioned it? Semple is now getting sued for his Yves Klein blue: Easy Klein. Since I learned from his feats from tumblr, thought was good place to share: here is a petition to stop galleries from showcasing Klein's work until the lawsuit is dropped, which is a good way to stop something so horrid (thinking just he economic part alone, he has to pay legal costs).

Really hope things get better.

Een paar jaar geleden kocht ik bij een rommelzaakje in Nice een heerlijk protserig ovalen lijstje. Handgesneden en natuurlijk verguld. Daar móést een schilderijtje in: ‘Nissa la Bella’. Eigenlijk een soort zelfportret, die vrouw die vanuit zo’n echt Niçoise lijst vanaf een terras staat uit te kijken over ‘mijn Nice’. Het 19e eeuwse Nice. Net zo heerlijk protserig en verguld als die lijst. Gewoon…

1. International klein blue 79 aka my icon. Simply undefeated

2. International klein blue 191...the same as 79 but different somehow....i havent seen this one in person so lowkey i think i might be crazy and they are the same shade after all since it should be the same pigment innit...but i'm just going to trust the pictures from the moma and argue that its a different shade

3. i love the blues in this piece, early morning by zeinab saleh ! I'm a big fan of her muted colour palettes in general

4. I looooove the blues you get in cyanotypes! Very cool what you can get just by adjusting the exposure or toning with teas

5. The blue light they have at the tate modern in the babel by cildo meireles room! I stayed there for a long time
