I'll Never Let You Go

 Amanda's P.O.V

Harry squeezed my hand with every step we took, he must have been afraid I would get lost in the overcrowded streets of Boston. His head was ducked down; trying to avoid any line of paparazzi hiding out in the bushes, buildings or restaurants. 

It's been a year. Our lives had changed so much. We decided to go to Boston for our week off, to get away from it all. Some fans were threatening our relationship, and I was too scared of losing him.

We were coming home from bowling when Harry asked me, "Do you want to go back?"

I gazed around the city scenery, I yearned to be outside for just a few more hours, but I could tell something was up with Harry. I wanted him to feel better. "Yeah sure!" I agreed, gripping his hand tighter. He kissed me on the forehead.

"Thanks babe," together we both walked into the hotel, passing by the screaming fans shouting absurd phrases at us.

Harry's P.O.V.

I was never one to get twitter hate, but since I started dating Amanda, that (along with many other) things have changed. Day after day, I would get these tweets from 'fan's' saying "Dump her date me," "I love you more," "I'm prettier than her!". I tried not to say anything, I tried not to let it bother me. 

Amanda let go of my hand as she entered our room, and went straight to the computer.

She knew, she wasn't stupid.

Quickly typing in her twitter name, the comments made their way to her account. Tears flew from her eyes and pelted down onto the keyboard. 

"Oh my god," she gasped as she scrolled through the comments, they were even nastier than mine.

"You don't deserve him." "He'd look better with me" "Is he blind?" "Come on, we all know it's just fake," "DUMP HER," "He's cheating on you,"

"And this is what happens when you decide to take a week away from technology," she groaned, slamming the computer and throwing it onto the couch. "I'm done," she huffed and ran into the bedroom; shutting the door behind her.

My body froze. Are fans seriously this mean? If they loved me, they would love her. These girls were insane.

I sprinted to our room, and banged on the door. "Amanda, please don't do this, I can help you," I was so scared. There was no way I was going to let her go, she was my home, I loved her deeply.

"Please Harry," I knew she was crying, "Just let me go, I'm not going to ruin your reputation, I want you to keep your fans. I'm not going to stop your success," I heard a drawer slam, and a zipper.

Fuck.

I barged in on her packing her bags. I pushed the suitcase off of the bed; letting her clothes topple to the floor. "You're not leaving just because of some stupid hate, I'm not letting you do that. You're stronger than that," I wiped the tears away from her eyes, but she shoved my hands away.

"You need to get your priorities straight before you can handle a relationship," 

"WE'VE BEEN DATING FOR A YEAR! YOU THINK I DON'T KNOW HOW TO HANDLE A RELATIONSHIP!" I shouted at her. Her eyes starting to release more tears. She cried, I cried.

"WELL OBVIOUSLY AFTER GOING PUBLIC LOOK HOW THAT TURNED OUT FOR US." She screamed back, two could play at this game. "Face it Harry, they don't want us to be together," she picked up her clothes from the floor, but then fell to her knees in desperation.

This was our breaking point. We had reached an all time low.

I scooped her up in my arms, and held her close to me, close enough so she could feel my heart racing. "Love, listen to me," I whispered into her ear, "No matter what the media says, what the fans say, you are going to be my one and only. I'll never let you go, I love you," her eyes fluttered to meet mine, staring at me in awe. 

"Harry, do you mean that?"

"I'm a man of my word," and I kissed her lightly on the lips.

I loved her with all of my heart. Nothing these fans could say would ruin our relationship. Amanda was here to stay, for good.
