Q: What is the last book mail you received?. I've been cutting back on buying books lately because I'm going to ALA this weekend in Washington, D.C.! This will be my first time attending and I hear you get a LOT of books, so my TBR will be filled up for a while lol. It was quite an odyssee because it was misplaced in Germany and after a couple of phone calls I could get it today. Final day of the #IllumicrateBloodandBlades photo challenge. "However it ends, at least you had a story to tell" - this quote really hit me the hardest. Darkdawn has so many great quotes, but this one just hit me straight in the heart. You don't know how Mia's story will end - but she certainly did have a story to tell and we were apart of it all. To me, that's what I love most about any series. Its not how it ends. That isn't what we'll remember the most. It's the journey. I think The Lord of the Rings movies really show that the best, how its about the journey - and well I mean destroying the Ring was just a little important too. Q: What series ending satisfied you the most? Book/TV/movie/anything I loved the ending of the Sleeping Giants book series - it made me immediately want to go back and reread from page 1, and I think thats a satisfying ending. TV wise, I'm satisfied with the ending of LOST. This is a hill I'm willing to die on - no, they were NOT dead all along. They each had separate journeys, some together, some alone, some ending before others, but they all ended sometime. Everyone dies in the end. Book Review: A Court Of Frost And Starlight by Sarah J. Maas

A Court of Frost and Starlight by Sarah J. Maas My rating: 4 of 5 stars Beautiful and magical. A few months after the war against the King of Hybern. We follow the lives of our favorite Inner Circle members and how they try to rebuild Velaris and try to carry on with their lives. I was really excited about this book, and when I got it thanks to the Illumicrate box Starfall Edition, it was like receiving a box filled with magic and many surprises! A book with a beautiful cover, filled with delicate details. This book is a novella, so it is shorter than Sarah’s usual lengthy novels, and I really wanted to take my time to read it, but I finished it in almost a week! I loved that this book had multiple POVs and that we finally had the possibility to read the reactions of the Inner Circle members in their own voice, which was exciting and I am looking forward to reading the rest of the spin-off books! Talking about a spin-off, at the end of ACOFAS, we have a glimpse of the next book in the Series, and I couldn’t be more delighted for it when I saw who were going to be the main characters! This passage leaves us on an epic cliffhanger and I can’t wait to know what happens next! I felt that this novella was the perfect happy ending that Feyre and Rhys deserved after all they have been through! And I am thrilled to see what Sarah has in store for them in the other books. I will give 4 stars to A Court of Frost and Starlight, I enjoyed reading that book so much, it had a good amount of funny scenes, heartwarming moments, and sexy times; but it remains a "bonus" book in order to set the context for the next spin-off series, so there were no big surprises there.
