I DON'T KNOW WHY I'M GUSHING OVER THIS IDEA BUT HEAR ME OUT- Taro starts a job at a daycare for some extra cash, and he also just really enjoys teaching and playing with kids. One of the kids has a huge emotional attachment to him, and Taro starts feeling the same. One day, he's playing with the kid and all the other kids have already left, the favorite kid's parent is running late so it's just Taro and the kid. And the parents comes in and BOOM- Taro instantly falls for them.

So happy! Silly husband reading appreciation post because this is kind of something I've always wanted. My husband got back into reading and the sevenwaters series by Juliet marillier is what did it! I've been suggesting to him so many great titles that he just never stuck with yet he kept saying he wanted to get back into reading. These books were able to hook his attention - he's almost finished the second one now.

The sevenwaters has got such great stories throughout, the historical ties and classic tales that get pulled in, and the way the fantasy elements are used are really interesting.

I love Superman WAY more than Batman. Let me be clear (meme lol), I love Batman, The Knight is one of my favorite comics ever written, I love the bat fam, The Dark Knight is a fuckin classic movie. That being said, I feel a love and admiration for Superman in a way I don't feel for Batman. The idea of someone with so much power, enough power to take down the world. But, he chooses to be good. I feel like this isn't talked about enough. People say that Superman is 'default good' because he'll always make the right choice. But, he holds back. All the time. He could wreck anything he touches. But he doesn't. Because he loves his planet, he loves humanity, and he wants to protect them. He's an outsider, and yet so full of compassion. This is also why I love Superman Vs The Elite. It really shows what 'scary superman' could be in the best way. It's not just 'what if superman was a dick' more like, 'what if this walking warhead stopped walking and started exploding'. It puts into perspective why Superman is interesting. Because he is the opposite of the idea that absolute power corrupts. He is, power can happen, and it can save lives. And it can be kind. Superman is at his best when he's kind.

I've never been that into social media. I used Facebook back in the day, but once the Undertale fan group I was in turned toxic I stopped. Never picked up another social media site until I got back into Tumblr recently (if I even dare besmirch its good name by referring to it as such) and I'm loving it. One of the things I'm enjoying most is whenever I find a new blog I like, I'll not only follow but I'll go through as many of their posts as I can, reblogging every single one I like with reckless abandon. Super fun!

When I first started out here, I was worried that I might bother people with notifs or something because when I did something similar in my Facebook days it would get me made-fun-of. Here I'm actually free to cut loose and have fun. 😊
