just had an idea out of nowhere for a d&d campaign that takes place really widespread across the continent? world? whatever and has the players visit a handful of specific areas in different parts of the world so they go to like the jungle and then the desert and then the snow and mountains and then the ocean or w/e and each region has it's own little intricacies and whatnot a little dungeon. a little local mystery. and there's always like a blacksmith and a temple and a druid guild or w/e, and then it turns out eventually that the druids from each region have been communicating and they've been working together to subtly manipulate the wildlife in their ecosystem to essentially wipe out certain areas and take control of the continent and in the boss fight they would all summon creatures from their different specialties so there's like rock golems and polar bears and fish monsters and desert lizard people.

im back to watching the show again and im watching it with a friend (way better experience then watching it alone, ngl did not have a good time watching it alone lol)

i absolutely love the poses and expressions in this ep specifically. I feel crazy but i think my friend understood me where they just felt different here. it can possibly be the work of Lane Lueras with his storyboarding work. cause he is the only new credit on this one. i am a bit of an insane person when pointing out style consistency and telling when things are storyboarded/directed by different people

but im enjoying the show a lot, the inconsistency of if the ghosts are actual ghosts or just monsters have been bothering me. but i can put that behind me idgaf that hard, i understand they just want monster of the week and they're doing it. i personally just hc that some are monsters and some are real dead ppl. i LOVE jazz and danny so much!!! i honestly just love the whole fenton family, literally just a family full of neurodivergent ppl. im still a little iffy about sam and danny's relationship but that could just be a effect of me knowing ppl ship danny with other ppl (saying they're relationship isn't as good as others). also that im just not a fan of "they are boy and girl and main characters there NEEDS to be romance". i just love tucker, danny, and sam and silly nerd loser besties together i rip my hair out a little.

also this fuck ass obviously designed by bitch fartman dog sent me so hard. it literally looks like something outta fop WHAT IS HE DOING HERE.

okey dokey! i just finished the fallout show! some Thoughts under the read more

tl:dr, the (bethesda) fallout vibes were definitely there. i liked it as a show on its own merits but as a part of the series canon... i'm mad, and that anger is kind of overriding the little i liked about it. overall maybe 2.5/5 stars and im being generous

things i liked:

visually, it's stunning - i could see scenes already being made into gifsets - the color grading is pretty good; even in dark scenes i could see and understand what was happening

the sets are soooo good!! costume design was alright too

title cards were fun and cute

they did some interesting stuff with the cultures of both vault 33 and the brotherhood of steel

they used the sound effects from the games :)

i liked the wastelanders!!! big npc and random encounter energy. i kind of want a whole show of just them. for example i love the marketplace and settlement in filly; it feels very lived in

the background characters weren't just young thin able-bodied conventionally attractive white people :) there's so many elders, which i loved!! ma june and barv were cool. i love gruff old lesbians

lucy!!! she was already kind of weird and a little off-putting even in vault 33 ("what's your sperm count" as an opener to the husband she was just arranged married to is WILD) and i like that. she's sweet and bullheaded and surprisingly competent :)

maximus is kind of an ass, but is also a pathetic nerd and brotherhood dickrider who actually doesn't really know anything. kind of a girlfailure

the ghoul was pretty cool too!! i liked him, though more for his prewar story than the one he has post-apocalypse

lucy's brother norman kinda grew on me. "i lack enthusiasm for every job that i do here" so relateable. also short king <3

the monsters that we have were cool!! wish there had been more of them

to summarize: it came out strong! and stumbled hard falling face fucking first at the finish line. i would have liked it a lot more if it did not shit on the west coast as much as it did. because what the FUCK. if it was set literally anywhere else and left the ncr alone i would have liked it more, because on its own, as a self-contained story, divorced from the rest of the fallout series canon, it's not bad!!! it's fun, there's some good bits, it has the ~vibes~ but - and this is a big but - i don't know what it's trying to say. it's all very surface level and the very vague themes i picked up on are not really reiterated in the plot

it's like... the bits that make it fallout are there. vaults. the brotherhood. ghouls. a dog named dogmeat. but there's something lacking. it's like your usual sci-fi post-apocalypse show with a fallout veneer. idk. i like it for what it is but also i hate it for what it's emblematic of. that's all

hi yall

so, i actually finished this drawing like a week ago lol. but i didnt want to post a bunch of drawing in a row, and then i got sick, so i havent been able to post it till now!

its my imaginings of what noelle looked like as she grew up, and a potential adult noelle design! ill explain my thought processes about these designs below, if anyones interested 😁

i also plan on doing one of these with dess, but this one was pretty difficult, so it might be awhile before that (unless yalls are interested in seeing it?)

first off, im not 100% sure ill keep using all these designs. some of them im not that happy with (im no good at designing outfits 😔) but i just went with them so i could finish the drawing. so if anyone has any alternative outfit ideas for any of her ages, id be interested in seeing/hearing it!

secondly, something that may stick out to yall for all the designs is how tall she gets. its the same height i normally draw her with, but given how i usually draw her by herself you cant really tell how tall she is! i have 3 main reasons for why i headcanon her as this tall: deer are pretty tall irl, so having her be tall makes sense in my head; i just like the look of her being super tall, it makes me happy lol; and third, i personally also headcanon the holiday family as boss monsters (i think ive explained this headcanon before on here, so i wont explain again, unless someone is interested ^^). so yeah, she ends up being 7 feet tall as an adult, the second tallest in her family!

also, i gave all her children forms stripes in some way, as a reference to when monster kid in undertale says they can tell frisk is a kid because of their stripes!

now onto my explainations for individual drawings!

theres nothing really to say about her baby design. the only thing i did that might be new is give her faun spots! they are most plentiful on her baby form, but they persist until shes in her teens, i would say (on here you cant see them after age 7, but thats just because i imagine they are mostly on her back). and i gave her a cute lil onsie that says a-deer-able! if you guys cant read it ^^

this outfit i made for her toddler design is actually an outfit ive used in the past! i wonder if yall know what drawing it was? its pretty much the same as it was there, i just added a stripe to the shirt. i felt like overalls are so reminiscent of childhood, i had to give at least one of her designs them! i also added a little mistletoe to the front pocket, to make it more christmas-esque. and i gave her some bandaids, just cause.

7 years old is one of the designs i really struggled on, and im still not happy with it. i dunno if ive said this yet, but i headcanon noelle to be trans, so at 7 is when i decided she started realizing it. so here i gave her long sleeves and pants, to show how shes more hidden now because shes unhappy with herself, if that makes any sense? i was also trying to make her look a bit like a nerd, with the button up and khakis, just because its funny. but yeah, ill probably end up changing this design at some point :P

11 years old was one of the easiest to do, considering how ive had her design for this age for awhile lol. one thing i did change was going from 2 red/white stripes to one, but ive done that before, so it wasnt something entirely new. i also gave her a smile and closed eyes, cause shes happy being a girl 🥰. other that that, its the same, so yeah, thats it for this part

okay, this next design is a fairly different looking one than all the rest, but i have my reasons! at this point in noelles live, dess has gone missing, so i wanted to show her being sad and stuff. i also gave her shoes and long sleeves because she probably goes out looking for dess when she can, hoping to find a lead 😭. but outside of in-story stuff, this outfit is based off of an old one i drew, but its fairly edited, so i wouldnt be surprised if no one recognizes it even if they have seen my old stuff. she has straight hair here, to show how unhappy she is (idk what it is about straight hair it just feels sad) and because i wanted to give her different hair varieties on this progression chart. i gave her antlers 2 prongs each at this point, because the way i see deer monsters, their antlers show their growth/aging, so youll see them getting bigger and having more prongs as the chart continues.

this outfit for 15 is another one i dont like. i tried to make it similar to her current outfit, but still pretty different. im not even sure what precisely i dont like about this outfit, it just doesnt feel that good. for this one i gave her leg warmers because i used to (and sometimes still do) draw her normal outfit with them. i gave her the curly hair she has as a callback to when i used to draw her hair like that! but yeah, ill probably end up redoing this one too

for 17, i just gave her the normal outfit, so it was easy ^^. in game i think shes 16, but close to turning 17, so i just went with 17 here to fit the +2 age pattern thing i had going on. i also gave her an extra horn prong than i normally give her, just to show age once again

finally, her adult design! i dont like this one either lol. i spent so long trying to think of what outfit to give her, but i couldnt come up with something i liked >.< so i just gave her something simple. i feel like once noelle graduates high school and probably goes to college she branches out more and tries things her mother never let her do, which is why i gave her an outfit like that, that has a crop top and a shorter skirt. also, yalls might recognize the hair style i gave her, i drew a potential adult noelle before and i gave her the same hair ^^

They have two body forms; polyp (stationary ones) and medusa (moving ones). Since the tentacles are attached to the roof they could be called Dungeon Anemones.

What makes Cnidarians unique is like what Laios says, “Cnidocytes” which are stinging cells that contain Nematocysts (that are organelles /mini organs) which are explained in a surface level in the second pic.

Here's your excuse to rant about pinescone

Okay-- Okay, this is so ahhh. It's silly but listen!

I was playing Horrified with my family, and I love board games-- so i can totally imagine Dipper and Wirt being into board games-- and Dipper is always pulling out this gameTrying to be all charming and cute and like "Wirttttt- let's play this one" And Wirt usually doesn't mind, but just Dipper being so into this game even though he's probably actually met some of these in real life monsters himself. Though sometimes Wirt fights him on which game to play-- and it's not like in a "No, I'm tired of playing this game Dipper, I wanna play something else" The reason he fights Dipper over this game is because he wants to play this version (the original version)

Because horror movie monsters and book related monsters are Wirt's bread and butter so these two are arguing over which version to play until the next game comes out

And both of them just kind of look at each other like >.> <.< It's the best of both worlds! ....though they do still argue over which version to play sometimes, though if they can't compromise-- Greek Monsters usually is the happy medium and it's a coop game so they're working together and trying different strats, and when they win they get all dorky, and sappy, and mushy (Board games surpisingly bring out a lot of passion)

Anyway, I needed to ramble a little because I have all three games XD

And it's very fun, and this feels so much like Dipper and Wirt's cup of tea and I love the concept of them playing board games together cause you know they do DDMD. Lately, when I've been playing games, I start imagining how Dipper or Wirt would exist in the world-- or what character would they play as-- what weapons/style/class would they pick. Im playing Elden Ring right now with the though of making two separate files that would be based on Wirt and Dipper. Like I just love these two nerds playing games together-- board games or video games. They each have their own favorite genres that the other doesn't like-- but they also do have a lot of similar taste; and sometimes they'll play something their partner really likes because they love their boyfriend and want to make each other happy! They love each other so much! I'm so fucking feral for this goddamn crossover ship--why?! XD

So to the headcanon pile they go. If I could draw, it probably be easier to draw little sketches of them in the world of the game/their character designs. BOCEPHUS IS SO FUNNY I LOVE HIM SO MUCH pretty much his entire character arc is going "oh wait shit im bisexual lmao??" and then immediately landing a boyfriend that wants him dead and he thinks thats hot. silly from day one til the day he dies babeyyy

bocephus's plot stuff is too interconnected with other characters for me to go on a full infodump without having to explain The Entire Story which has historically taken me 4-6 hours of nonstop typing to do so im not doing that but heres a bunch of fun facts

bocephus started his band with his buddies (and rainbow who was also there) 2-3 years before he appears in the story! they're still pretty underground but they make enough to make ends meet

bocephus is an assassin as a side gig for when the ends dont meet. he doesnt take this nearly as seriously as he does the band tho. dont ask him for discretion with his kills, hes beating them to death with his fists and youre not getting anything different

he tells the gamer club video games arent a thing in the monster realm but the more ive thought about this the more i think he just doesnt fucking know video games exist until kazooie shows him. theres no way they dont have video games in the monster realm. bocephus is just a dumbass and was never interested in that nerd shit

he's the one that gets amedeo in therapy. literally just walked up to amedeo, handed it a card with a therapist's contact info, told it he thinks therapy would do it good, and left. and it worked. he just has these cards on hand all the time btw

didnt think he was bi he just was willing to do whatever was fun with anyone until he realized he was crushing on rainbow which didnt make any sense because rainbow is not fun to be around and was actively trying to kill bocephus when he had this realization. immediately started flirting with rainbow about it. theyre dating now. theyre fucking awful for each other and they like it that way

hes just an awesome guy. big advocate for mental health, is pretty "he's confused but he's got the spirit" about queer/disability stuff, always hyping up all of his friends every chance he gets. hes so cool

Some Seven Deadly Sin design ideas i felt i needed to write down somewhere

Lucifer (Pride): he is the character ive worked most on out all of them

currently his design is going through some changes. for one i want him to be more goat like. i still want to keep his sharper nose cuz i just really like that one him, but hes going to start looking more like a furry as the days pass sorry not sorry

his personality i dont plan on changing. he's going to remain a more standoff-ish and quiet, coming off as cold. but on his other side he is actually quite caring and passionate about taking care of his family, his people, and Hell itself

Sathanas (Wrath): hes a bit tricky. i didnt want him to be so predictable by being a meet head jock or something. so i decided to go the business man route.

im thinking of also making him more animal like. maybe a bull to represent the wrath part of him to get a better idea. he also 100% has glasses he's a nerd

personality; similar to Lucifer he's quiet and intimidating, but more like the opposite spectrum. he comes off as more stern and serious, not taking anyones shit and he means it

Beelzebub (Gluttony): my silly. ive grown heavily attached to him

entirely going into a bug look for him. in my mind he looks a bit human but has a lot of bugs features like antenna's, four pairs of arms, huge insect wings, differently bent legs, and possibly abdomen im not entirely sure about that yet

i always pictured him to be very carefree, silly, but really off putting and strange. bro totally eats corpses and thats ok because hes funny <3

he also has a wife and child. she let him hit cuz hes goofy

Asmodeus (Lust): this again is a tricky one cuz i really want him to be unique but translate his design that doesnt feel overcomplicated to design. because if you know how he really looks, its a lot

i do have in mind i want him to be fat as im tired of the definition of Lust being this skinny guy. fat people can be hot af and i want that to be more pushed

i was also thinking with how Asmodeus has more than one face, i either thought he could change his features by waving a hand in face that changes everytime like magic. or he spins his head like a doll and appears a new face every so often. not entirely sure with what i want to do but the separate faces i dont think i want to make to be different people, rather just different appearances

Asmodeus is also a kind and full of passion for others. he has several partners that he all treats very well and is not purely out of lust

Mammon (Greed): again, this is a hard one

Mammon in my mind can be many things and its hard for me to decide what he looks like. so he is the one thats the most work in progress as for some reason its just difficult for me

as for personality, hes by far the nastiest out of all the Sins. besides Belphegor, he very much embraces the sin he represents and doesnt feel bad about it. hes a man of the status quo and likes to be the bigger person power or wealth wise.

even though when being ranked alongside the other seven sins he isn't that powerful compared to Sathanas, Beelzebub, or definitely Lucifer

so hes kind of compensating all the time for his broken ego LOL

Leviathan (Envy): SEA WITCH SEA WITCH

ive been so excited to design her and im gonna go all out with the deep sea monster look. i envision her as a kind of kelpie/siren kind of monster creature girl that has hair covering her face but a huge creepy smile. shes got lots of teeth like a shark

personality so far is that shes a bit creepy. she likes to make herself look as if her spine is cracking in half and loves fucking with people. but sometimes her creepiness is just who she is. no one can tell when shes being serious or being an ass

Belphegor (Sloth): the last furry i promise (not)

yeah, i may be stealing the idea of what Vizviepop is doing with her Belphegor. not like entirely tho since we still dont know what she looks like. but my Belphegor is going to be a sheep for certain

i want her to be the shortest out of all the Sins and look like the fairly unthreatening one. but thats where she gets you cuz actually all along her fluffy wools is eyeballs that pop out of nowhere and scare the hell out of you

her attitude to me is more predictable for Belphegor by being noncaring, monotone, and sleepy. but i honestly cant think of her in any other way it just fits best. i imagine she never even walks she just floats around with a pillow and sleeps randomly

these are just concept ideas btw but i needed to air this out to someone so i hope you guys enjoy seeing my thought process <3

im reading some life advice personal growth book called "the flinch" is like 30 pages and i cannot concentrate but its relatable taking into account how much shit i dont do.

i wont be a liar and say that the title is referencing boxing and that reminds me of my favourite member of TXT and his perspective on facing challenges and boxing and i think it has this directeness that i find motivating so yeah, ill write how did that go. i foudn it throught a cool quote here and i neede motivation so why not?

Just a quick question about Manfred if that’s alright:

Have you thought about how she would be constructed as a puppet? She has such an interesting body shape so I was wondering if you had any ideas about how she would move?

Shes 4 feet tall, she would most likely have two versions if she was a licensed character. she has similar hand movements to cookie monster, a person would be in control of her hands so she can do creepy hand gestures, that one's feet would probably be controlled with bars. She stomps her feet hard and moves like a frankenstien's henchmen type, kind of almost limping harshly

her head would be a wheel- still extra furry of course, but enough to give her a lot of movement when she walks, she also spins her head when she speaks- I'm not sure how her mouth would move, but there would be some sort of blinking mechanic in her eyes that would let the puppeteer blink one eye at a time, slowly like a reptile- I'm also tossing around an idea to make her pupils removable so you can replace them with other ones for character purposes. Her head on the top also opens to reveal a brain inside. there would be something for the puppeteer inside to press to pop it open.

of she was on movement and in person, it would take one person to move her, again shes 4 feet tall, her feet would be slippers for the puppetterr to slide into, one hand holding her head wheel and the other using a rod to maneuver one hand- her design involves her constantly grabbing at the cloth - that would be like a potato bag- around her, so that arm would be sewed on and not moveable.

back to Cawl! I am seeing why people like him there's a lot of setting description here about the mining it's not bad but i'm not really interested lmao so the area is low on supplies that can support human life, but high in riches

so what is up with Tez-Lar lol anyways she threatens cawl with being turned into a skitarii cawl thinks glowingly about the technological achievements of mankind

so there is a native species of alien, they don't even know if they're intelligent or not, that attack their remote mining operations there's too many of the aliens, cawl recommends withdrawal but his boss says no

Cawl gets to be a badass TAKING DIRECT CONTROL cawl controls various robots to try and fix things and fight the aliens he has to deal with the kaiju IM AAAA

they're beating up his physical body as he controls all the machines cawl shades the mechanicum for being scrawny nerds so it doesn't do much damage cawl are you also not a scrawny nerd annnd he did it! he won now for the aftermath

i mean we know he's going to survive it anyways his boss tells the guy calling for his death to shut up once he regains consciousness they're gonna have a longgg talk lol

the next chapter opens with russ saying to himself "i cannot win, i cannot beat horus" i'd have a bit of respect for him if this was a tolkienesque thing where he thinks it's a battle that must be fought because it's the right thing, no matter if he dies, but as it is it just comes off as….nnnot that

he has zero confidence i think some of it is he feels it's not worth it if he can't kill horus? that's his stupid pride he's not even able to consider it as a suicide mission or be like "if we can do enough damage to give everyone else time" no okay let's see where this chapter goes so russ is in his training salle with no one around "i cannot beat horus" he repeated to himself "but i must try" well he's alone except for servitors and MALCADOR HOLOGRAM INTERRUPT while he's fighting the combat servitor

you know i really thought this book was going to sell me on russ (it's not) malcador tells russ to attend him russ grumbles but knows he's gonna so russ spent a lot of time with the emperor and malcador and unlike most normal sane people, actually likes them emps talked with him about restoring terra

russ probes malcador to try and get more information about what emps is up to malcador accuses russ of enjoying the war since it's actually a challenge

this book continues to be some kind of comedy i really really need to find a better way of phrasing this, but not for the first time I'm struck that if all the primarchs had been raised by the emperor it would have had a lot more resemblance to some elements of a harem drama, the type you see in historical cdramas or turkish dramas

special treatment for the specialest boy also "you have always understood the virtue of restraint" [citation needed] malcador calling him a hypocrite obliquely and he doesn't seem to pick up on it okay like but for real how do we know the supposedly superhuman genius bit isn't propaganda and actually emperor designed them to be not super intelligent so they'd be easier to control

it really does feel exactly like that bit in Angel Exterminatus when Perturabo is descending into the depths of the crone world and all the eldar souls are warning him and he's like "yes i'm acknowledging their warning" kva gets on his case about doing the runes in the middle of the warp russ: yeah yeah i know

he doesn't get mad when he's told something he doesn't want to hear, which is a real step up from some of his brothers but he doesn't listen to it either and just slides around

WELL IF YOU INSIST ... my turn to go a little insane with reaching. they really did layer a lot of symbolism onto the green boy - i didn't miss the little alchemical symbol for earth they worked into his design, the really big and obvious triple goddess belt buckle, the snake/8 or infinity/ouroboros theme, association w nature/plants and whats under the streets (the little tree peeking out of the sewer? or whatever it is in the bg mainly used for the street his bars on caught my eye), or the way they keep showing him in churches and how the. little white thing over his shirt makes it look a bit like a reversed clerical collar. the (maybe) ritual knife and the little knife earring with one of two red points on his design. gold and its connotations of perfection in alchemy (which is the metal he and kuras share while everyone else is silver 🤔🤔). white lilies being a funeral flower and also about faith and rebirth. just a lot of things pointing to distinct faces/masks + wisdom/knowledge + cycles/death/breaking cycles/rebirth. given one of the aspects of the triple goddess is the nymph/matron and how he seems to have a reputation for flings but everyone else important hates him in a sense/he doesnt seem to have any actual *close* relationships it seems to point to maaayyybe an aspect of his story is breaking self destructive interpersonal habits (i certainly expect a breaking of cycles in some sense, though maybe its just life+death if the idea about him being undead is right. and a lot of things seemingly point to that right now lol!)

since the game seems like it might draw a lot on alchemy, given one of the bgs, kuras, leander and mhin all are involved with it ahve have some kind of alchemical symbolism going on one way or another, other alchemy symbols might be interesting to think about irt them, especially the green lion devouring the sun for leander, which is basically a metaphor for how aqua regia dissolves gold. all of THIS bit is absolutely just my nerd ass reaching, but i think its also neat how each of the five characters could be applied to one of the major alchemical colors (green, black, white, red, gold). green is obviously leander but the rest could be fought over

his thing with vere especially interests me since it seems like something went down there that went REALLY bad. like we know leander has a savior complex (evident enough in what we see in game but also called out by name in the promo material) and thinks vere is gorgeous, he must have projected some damsel in distress shit onto him that vere didn't like but vere despite his bluster seems (at least in the day we know him) pretty bad at setting concrete boundaries (he always dances around it and keeps it vague before snapping! going 'you'll know if' 'if i didnt want you to i wouldnt let you' saying one question then letting you get multiple in before putting his foot down etc etc but i played a week ago i might be misremembering). despite it going bad leander seems to still think hes on okay terms with vere, and i think its interesting how before the twenty questions he asks you your opinion on the others, and if you're too negative he talks them all up (he apparently thinks theyre his friends after all!) and if you're too positive he warns you about how dangerous they are (makes sense given they. are. and he might feel guilty about letting you go wandering in a town known for its monsters alone). ive seen people trying to spin that as manipulative of him but currently to me it more just reads like trying to defend his friends vs trying to look out for you. but maybe i am just colorblind!

speakingof the questions though given the whole 'information is currency' thing and the fact you have an option to end the questions early i wonder if theyre a variable that will have an affect later... you ask too many questions there, you accrue some sort of debt

I DIDNT MEAN TO WRITE THIS MUCH ABOUT JUST HIM LMAO this is what i mean when i say it got me. im thinking thoughts. i want to know what his problem is so bad. anyway to end not JUST talking about him i like how ais' bracelet vaguely looks like a shimenawa, and i like how specifically its on the arm that doesnt have the tentacle 'tattoo' 🤔 also something i like about the flowers they gave them all is leander's is white lily but they gave ais the spider lily. extremely toxic, and a notorious symbol of the afterlife growing along the shores of a river that connects it to ours, but also like very associated w yanderes by anime lmao which seems to run contrary to what we've seen of him so far. i also think its fun here that part of its japanese name, higan, means the far shore. i think its connotations of the dead + remembering of the dead (since it blooms around the time of ohigan) feels like it fits with how the people who drink from the spring are technically preserved and remembered inside tha groupmind

the flower choices are very fun since only leander, ais and vere got toxic plants... kuras got a medicinal one and mhin got one with bitter but technically edible berries. alright the last thing ive wanted to mention to someone is that to treat us at the start it's obvious kuras would have had to touch our hands/arms, even if only accidentally, given we wake up without a shirt or bandages, but we never are given the chance to realize that and that he's unaffected too. actually we aren't told how we got to the clinic, are we? maybe im just forgetting. did he just happen to walk out there and see us, did another named character, was it known about or a complete accident to discover? id talk about my ideas for the curse but i didnt mean to send you five paragraphssss

I can see why Leander is like this with Vere, everyone seems to have issues with the Senobium and Vere is literally and metaphorically tied to their will. having such an old and powerful (dangerous) being would pull at his savior complex imo, regardless of what may have happened between them. (can you imagine leander saying/trying to break the enchantment on vere's collar, failling, and vere holding a grudge b/c he seems like the type)

Leander has some odd relationships imo, even compared to the others. he's got a real friends with everyone but is emotionally distant + avoid conflict (as seen repeatedly in the bar) vibe. he's one of the cast who's been around the city the longest (after vere and kuras) and i've been wondering why he targets Ais specifically with murder attempts. is it just 'i hate your vibe, you wanna make out after i poison you a few times?' is it really just the groupmind? In the oracle bg you can feel/hear something under the earth as you near the seaspring and i wonder if leader's thing (plants growing out of the grates + the silent crypt that keeps getting mentioned + 'as above so below' on the hound flyers) isn't kind of competing with it, creating a rivalry in that way. i'm dying to know what the fuck their deal is.

Which kind of leads into why i think Mhin is so so hostile with Ais: we know Mhin has some weird curse of their own involving a fucked up bird thing and i wonder if that entity is causing friction with Ocdeus. b/c mhin and vere's dynamic is pretty different, meaning it's not just a monster thing.

then again Ais might be lying to us about the whole 'for no reason' thing and we have no idea what happened between the five of them before we got there.

I always kind of assumed Kuras had gloves on while dealing with us since he's a (hopefully, maybe) a responsible doctor. but initially when he finds us? does he know more then he's pretending to with our curse? does it effect divine beings??? i need to know

the only thing i’m not fully into with The Sea Beast was the creature design. i personally think the first beast we meet is the best designed one.

and i love our sweet Red (baby girl leviathan baby❤️) but the concept art and even the original model they were going to use were so much better than the finished product.
