it’s not even been a whole day but im already kind of miffed at how the internet talks about the new dungeon meshi episode. i think it’s kind of disrespectful to the foreshadowing and framework throughout the story thus far to treat the tonal shift like some sudden jarring thing where “now the REAL story starts” - dungeon meshi has always been about life and death and nature and the ecosystem, it’s not a rug pull, it’s expanding on themes that already exist. an obvious other side of the same coin, we didn’t know it would go there, but that doesn’t mean it’s some huge shock that it does

Bowie and Raj: they actually are everything to me im gonna explode, THEY R SO CUTE, honestly it was very cute how they had bowie be like.. i mean. sorta gay awakening adjacent for raj, he was like woahhh... *blushy emoji* LIKE OHH MY GODDD YOU GUYS R SO RGRGGRHEHRHEHGEH but yes yeah very cute very sweet, that scene in the finale when all the losers come back and raj looks all nervous I AM GONNA EXPLODE it was so cute 😭 i could write essays. i will probably. just a fan of the dynamic, like bowie is the stereotypical flamboyant gay and i honestly was assuming Caleb was gonna b the couple with him (based on those promo images and whatnot, not the trailers tho, based on the trailer i knew Calebs ass was LEAVING, sorry Caleb) but NOTHING could’ve prepared me for it being RAJ??? thats amazing. Also I think the couple being Bowie with Raj was perfect because, with raj and wayne being inseparable bffs, wayne is the NUMBER ONE RAJ AND BOWIE SHIPPER EVER, which is cute, especially with his EXTREME support for them, aggressive gay ally ❤️

Crowley's glasses were always a shield for him, he never needed that shield while he's alone with Aziraphale so whenever he entered the bookshop with Aziraphale alone, he immediately took them off. So him putting his glasses back on after confessing has more meaning in it now. He knew Aziraphale was gonna reject him, he put his glasses on to shield himself from Aziraphale after a long time. Then he stole a kiss, knowing that's the only chance he'd probably ever get, and maybe deep down, thinking a kiss might fix everything... He was expecting Aziraphale to kiss him back, that's why the kiss lasted for so long.

I despise when disco fans call Kim "Kimball" casually its such a demeaning nickname not to mention the complications around his name being Very Obviously Seolite and the conversation of him almost changing it to blend in with other Revacholians because he doesnt want to be seen as an other. "Kimothy" close second.

yeah giving the blorbo nicknames and all but I feel like we should have some more respect for a fictional POC character's name at the BARE minimum without using a name meant to put him down in canon and one that sounds more like a white name
