Honestly it would be funny if bad reset himself to get rid of the radition and potentially whatever is turning him blue (I don't know if he can he only mentioned the radiation) while no one else gets memory wiped. Then when they all come back and he remembers nothing everyone is so fucking confused about why he was because he wasn't when they first arrived. But the two other demons know what's going on and have a side convo about why he would (I don't remember if they know about the radiation) and Mouse has to explain alone that it was Bad's choice and a demon thing which would probably confuse everyone even more while Tina stands beside Bagi and Em, worried for her guard dog.

I want him to do it just to see other people's reactions honestly.

The crew listens to Epic: the Musical.

MK's favorite song is Legendary.

Wukong identifies with Just a Man (not that he'll admit it).

Macaque likes Ruthlessness because he's an emo little stinker.

Sandy likes Open Arms (of course).

Tang and Red Son like Warrior of the Mind.

Pigsy really thinks the monkeys should take Luck Runs Out to heart.

Mei likes Keep Your friends close (a fun bop that belies danger underneath, just like her).

I have to be careful binging a new muscial (or in this case Saga) cus I end up playing each song on loop for hours. Opinions might change once the full and finished versions of later sagas are released.

Im imagining the gang likely sees/listens to Epic on the reccomendation of MK (who's currently on a Greek Mythology hyperfixation), and he gets them all to watch the full play - maybe in the future as a irl performance or film.

"Legendary" is SUCH an MK song. Both him and Telemachus growing up with the stories of someone dear to them and wanting to replicate their success. I could also see him really liking "Warrior of the Mind" with the theme of "some nobody" gaining the favor of a god (reminds you of anyone?) + SWK is infamously the personification of The Mind in Jttw so its a bonus. MK is smiling evily whenever a harsh plot twist occurs and his fam are shocked silent. >:3

Sun Wukong feels targeted personally with how many of the Epic songs remind him of his past. Ofc he starts crying halfway through "Horse and the Infant", and is inconsolable during "Just A Man" - verbally yelling "NO!" at the end. And like Nezha and Sandy is *silent* during Posideon's songs. Is super jazzed during the triumphant Ithaca Saga though! And feels mega catharic during "King" when Odysseus proves that he still rules to the suitors! He tries his best to hide how much the muscial is affecting him.

Macaque is a canon theatre Nerd - so he's already listened to the musical multiple times, but he's uber excited to see the live performance (and secretly bond with his found fam). Is rocking out during "Ruthlessness" and "Done For" in particular, so much so that he's fidgeting and dancing within his seat. He also vibes with "No Longer You" as someone with powers of prophecy. Is really amazed how much Wukong gets into the musical, but in retrospect understands *why*. Him and Wukong accidentally share a glance during "Would You Fall In Love With Me Again" and it gets a little awkward afterwards.

Mei is similarly excited to see anything with her bestie, so she tried her best not hear/see any spoilers ("it's a centuries' old story Mei" "Ssssh!! Dont tell me!"). She was shooketh by how hard the muscial goes. "Keep Your Friends Close" is her fave based on beat alone. She gets delightedly scared and amazed by consistent horse imagery used with Posideon (shameless link to my fave Animatic of "Ruthlessness").

Tang loves himself some historical and mythological adaptations, and is estatic that MK has given him an excuse to go see one! He's not as familar with Hellenic mytholgy as he is with Hindu-Chinese, but he knows enough lore to make the pog-champ face at every foreshadowing/reference. "Warrior of the Mind" really gets to him as a song about valuing your smarts. He also feels really empathetic for Calypso.

Pigsy only went cus Tang begged him. He feels super lost by the deep Greek lore he's missing, but he can get Odysseus's whole thing with trying to get home - but he def identifies more with Eurylochus. "Luck Runs Out" proves this to him. Later on he feels that the second-in-command was justified in having the soldiers rebel against Odysseus after so many losses (who wouldn't after losing all their friends?). Audibly gasps at the end of "Just A Man" - cus who would just do that!? Is a little freaked out by Circe turning the Athenian's into pigs - Eurylochus is depicted as partly-transformed, played by a pig-demon actor who was in super convincing human makeup in the previous sagas. He also gets protective feelings by-proxy seeing Telemachus's situation since the prince reminds him of MK. Is surprised by how much he likes the musical!

Sandy feels betrayed. This isn't like Disney Hercules at all! He does really enjoy Polites message in "Open Arms" and the later moments when the hopeful soldier's outlook is proven correct. He's a little overwhelmed at points though - he get eerily quiet during Posideon's scenes. He sobs joyfully when Odysseus finally makes it home and reunites with his family! :')

Because of this really good animatic/almost child-like depiction of Aelous by gigi; I can def see "Keep Your Friends Close" being Nezha's fave. It reminds Nezha of when he was far more carefree + has a solid lesson on about trust/"forbidden fruit". He also enjoys the more march-like tune of "Survive". He does however, freeze when he listens to Posideon's songs "Ruthlessness" and "Get in the Water" - he has been on the bad end of a sea god before and is quietly shtting himself for Odysseus.

Red Son goes in feeling like he could have stayed at home listening to the musical on his phone while working on a car instead. He is however blown away by the heavy themes and performances, especially "Warrior of the Mind" and Telemachus's situation - a prince forced to grow up fatherless and protecting his mother from suitors due to his dad pissing off a higher power? Hello?? Accidentally shrieks "YES!!!" when Athena becomes Telemachus's mentor/friend after "Little Wolf".

Princess Iron Fan I could see loving any song including Penelope (she empathizes with the Queen's situation hard), but unexpectedly enjoys "Keep Your Friends Close" - she's a fellow Wind Goddess at her core. It also reminds her of her not-so-little-anymore nephew.

DBK on the flip side loves the heavier songs like "Polyphemus" and "Ruthlessness". This man is a Posedion apologist. He does feels bad for Odysseus by the end though - man just wants to get back to his wife and kid dammit!

Bonus: The Spider Gang are watching the bootleg and Spider Queen agrees with Circe's whole girlboss attitude especially "Puppeteer". Scorpion Queen is Calypso in "Not Sorry For Loving You".

Thoughts on Pauline? I know she’s not in the Mario vs Donkey Kong remake but in the spirit of those games I just wanted to ask

I'm neutral on Pauling overall, as a kid I liked her alot more over Rosalina. I was soo hyped when she appeared in odyssey, although it had me reevaluating the lore and my life. LIKE SERIOUSLY-

Pauling is the mayor of New Donk City but does that mean that the og lore doesn't exist or is Donk City = New York?? If so, Does the pipe that Mario and Luigi took doesn't exist anymore? I decided not to think about it for a looooong time, BUT BRIGHT SIDE! I have thought of a theory/headcanon that solves EVERYTHING! I just don't know if I should tell you all yet.

I know Im a lazy bear when I don't have the right motivation to do something, which is why alot of stuff are just in my bucket list but I have a Mario Galaxy comic idea that helps explain my theory more naturally and help explain my overall hcs for my Mario universe.

Anyway something that always got at me as a kid was when people said the Mario is cheating on Peach with Pauling. I was deep in the Mario shipping trenches, but in order to please my inner demons I have the now headcanon that they're bitter exes.

Neither of them are bad, just bad for each other. It's just consistent arguing and clapbacks till Luigi got tired of sleepless nights so he begged Mario to finally cut it off. Now the used to be high school sweetheart just passively aggressively insult each other on the tennis court. But hey I guess thats no different to how Mario acts with any competition.

Peach and Pauling are cool with each other but Pauling just doesn't understand why a Princess would lower her standards for someone like Mario. Although Peach explains she just doesn't understand her decision and thinks Peach should have gone with the nicer brother.

Peach would like to talk or have tea time with Pauling if only she wasn't flustered and intimidated by this tall lady.

Give Zalgo lore pls/nf

ok ok . so zalgo lore is still under the works, but i have core concepts down for him . . .

lots of demon and goat and skeletal imagery, obviously. . . eyes, too. lots of eyes. he likes to take them, says it gives him more sight over the forest - which he thinks he's the 'ruler' of.

as for plot. he was a demon that sort of 'ran' the forest while O/S was dormant. he ate people who came in, made monsters out of the animals, made the general area roaming with the paranormal - he likes chaos, horror, power.

when O/S woke up, he was quickly dethroned. he's weaker than them, 'allergic' to their bodies/presence, etc.

slendy's jaw is able to detach and he vomits a liquid that's poison to zalgo - said liquid is used as the ink in the slender pages. when the proxies surrounded the forest with slender pages, it acted as a sort of... force field? It trapped zalgo - and his puppets - in the forest. sort of like a salt circle! they can't tear down the pages, can't even get close to them without adverse reactions. this is why slendy and the proxies get so heated when they're messed with.

so zalgo is angry. for a long while, he's using animals to try and win back power. he'll infect deer, bears, even rabbits. it didn't really do anything . . those animals are also sick to O/S liquid, and the proxy cabin has pages all around it. zalgo couldn't get close to the proxies or proxy victims, so he couldnt infect humans.

until an infertile, desperate woman came to the forest. she was deluded, praying for a child, begging for anything. she planned to kill herself that night in the forest, but zalgo promised her a child. she left soon after, unaware that it worked. that was lazari's mother. but of course, once the woman left, zalgo couldn't go visit her. humans remained useless to him, but he realized that it wasn't ALL humans he couldn't get close to. just tainted ones.

then Lulu came along. she died in the forest after a hazing ritual that involved swimming in the forest's lake in freezing weather, later succumbing to hypothermia. the sorority girls, terrified of the consequences, buried her in the forest and ran off. so zalgo infected her corpse. but lulu was weak, docile, foggy - generally, a massive disappointment.

then Ann came along. she was dragged by a 'fan' who was obsessed with her redroom content and wanted to make his own, so he killed her in the abandoned hospital at the forest. kate killed the man, but zalgo infected ann's corpse very quickly. ann was a much better suitor, having already been a violent, disgusting person when she was alive - BUT she was also trapped in the hospital. it was a labyrinth to her, and while she tried to attack the proxies at first, she eventually realized it was futile and gave up. once again, a failure.

finally, his daughter returns to the forest - being dragged along by an older girl named Dina. Lazari bit Dina weeks prior, infecting Dina and ruining her life. so she wanted to kill Lazari as a sort of divine punishment, since they belonged to the same religious cult.

Lazari immediately kills Dina. Lazari runs to escape the forest, dripping in blood and grime and guilt and shame - and she is trapped by the fucking pages. While Lazari is away, Zalgo infects Dina's corpse. and oddly enough, Dina seems like a much stronger candidate. level headed, determined, angry.

AND THAT'S WHERE IM AT RIGHT NOW!!!

at this point in the story, the proxies are trying to figure out what to do with zalgo. while the operator seems to be getting weaker, zalgo is getting stronger - he has four girls running around the forest, and while 3/4 of them want nothing to do with him, he's still getting a better footing against the proxies. soooo... now they gotta deal with that!!!

TLDR;

zalgo was the 'ruler' of the forest until O/S woke up. now he wants power back, but slenderman's "vomit" acts as a salt circle that traps zalgo in and protects the proxies.

so, he begins infecting corpses in the area.

he can only infect corpses that died in the forest and were NOT killed by proxies. if they were even touched by the proxies, he can't infect it.

and I don't mean the usual lore, I MEAN SOLO LORE, DEMON LORE, GRIM REAPER LORE, ANYTHING PLS

i thought i was patient but when that info about qBBH being a demon dropped from literally NOWHERE in that resistance report book about him, which still utterly confuses me btw, cuz HOW TF. Man keeps it very hidden LORE WISE ofc (i don't count the playful banter he has with other islanders etc as significant, also ironmouse found out thru meta sooooo don't know how will it work lol). Man never confessed to anything (he's sus af ofc, but NO CONFIRMATION), man hides his figure under a hood and scarf. SO HOW? The resistance didn't even guess or suspect his species, they were SO SURE that he was a demon, in an island full of different species mind you. SO HOW? The all-seeing FEDERATION doesn't even know, or at least didn't reveal that they know. SO HOW?

(a theory i saw though that made a lot of sense to me at least was that the Federation knew all along but hid it because qBBH wanted to hide it, implying special guest OR they wanted to use it to their advantage)

idk maybe its just expectation on my part for the reveal to be substantial somehow idk. now it feels so blah. like its whatever. and it feels disappointing in a way. it just feels like.....all that build up/secret keeping FOR THAT??? sighhhhhhhhhh

is it just me who feels this way? or am i being dramatic? pls fellow qBBH enjoyers be honest with me, have i lost it? am I too deep in the sauce?

okay okay so basically

We have 7 ocs (<33), all based in a modern AU for ATLA. Its in todays world, so we have all of the tech of today. In this world, benders are the minority and the subject of a lot of prejudice. Some people love em, most hate them because they’re far more powerful than the average human and everyone is threatened by them. A few smart people make friends with the benders (big brain) but most everyone is terrified by them (peasants).

In Tabs' words:

"Benders in the modern world are a minority and are oppressed and demonized. Any person known to have bending powers are locked in jail, killed, or sent to illegal bending arenas to fight to the death. 

The Avatar spirit has been missing for generations. There is no hope, there is no brighter future for benders. 

The Avatar is gone. Lost. 

Until he was found in the body of a man named Revon.

Revon, forced to hide for the entirety of his life, seeks not to bring benders and nonbenders together, but to eradicate every last one of the benders so that he alone holds all the power.

He will unite the world, under his rule.

Revon: based off of my humanities teacher, has some history with Kara (we literally dont know what yet), the Avatar and Kara’s direct opponent, weapon of choice: throwing knives

Vexx: based off of no one because Vexx is creepy and weird and none of us like him, weapon of choice: literally any kind of knife and gun, Artemis’ direct opponent

Lilith: also not based off of anyone because she is terrifying, runs an illegal bending arena, both Rexen’s and Akira’s direct opponent, weapon of choice: gun

Those are the three main villain as of now, we’re still developing Amara’s and Zephyr’s

Backstories: 

Kara: parents were assassins, bloodbenders, and leaders of the Steel Hearts, passed that down to Kara. Her parents ended up killing each other (no explanation yet <33)

Akira and Rexen: both were kidnapped at a young age and forced to fight in a bending arena. Rexen escaped first, but was forced to leave Akira behind. Akira finally escaped, met up with Kara's gang, then finds Rexen, and now those two make out at every opportunity after 6 months of being apart

Ren and Artemis: their stories are intertwined. Both were best friends in their youth, but Artemis’ parents being killed led to a rift in their friendship (if you want more on this specific one, tabs and I have a ficlet)

Ren: abusive parents, rich dude, but runs away, ends up getting kidnapped and arrested, his parents have put out a bounty on him

Artemis: actual loving parents, but they’re dead now (heheh) so artemis is forced to live on his own at 12, ends up being successful but chooses to look for his parents’ killer

Amara: oldest kid and has to take care of her siblings. After striking a deal with some pretty shady people, amara shoves her family in a safe place and runs. She is the first member of the steel hearts, and she is the one who encourages Kara to restart it

(We’re still figuring out Zephyr’s backstory lmao but I will put it in here soon)

Sneak peak of what’s rot hashira about!

Warning: Kny spoilers.

Rot Hashira Au is an Au where the original canon hashiras have grown older and the kamaboko squad are now the present hashiras but they’re much more younger than the canon hashiras.

Example: Kyojuro is 43yrs old and Tanjiro is 20yrs old

Now that that is out of the way. This is where the spoilers come in, the canon hashiras weren’t abled to finish off Muzan like the canon version, some died like Iguro and Mitsuri, Kyojuro survived Akaza but was left seriously injured which led him to be retired.

Kyojuro adopted Tanjiro and Nezuko and raised them along his own children (Makoto, Shinchiro, Tomoe and Kohan) with his wife Masako.

Im just a man…

When Tanjiro faces Muzan with the others, he ends up killing him, finally, its all over…

Or is it?…

Yorichii visits Tanjiro in a vision he immediately haves after killing Muzan. Tanjiro wakes up to a depressing view, the sky was grey, corses of slayers everywhere on the corp’s headquarters and demons STILL roam the land.

“A vision… of what is to come… cannot be out run, can only be dealt with right here and now. But I dont think youre ready… a mission to kill someone’s child, someone that wont run unlike anyone you have faced before” Yorichii spoke to the young sun hashira as he tries to demonstrate the future from now on.

“Tell me now! I know I’m ready” Tanjiro yelled in confidence.

“I don’t think you’re ready…” Yorichii furrowed his eyebrows then…

Yorichii’s soul guides him to a child, a baby girl… not so far from the battle field, Tanjiro’s eyes widen at the realization he haves to kill this infant.

“This is the offspring of Muzan… his daugther, a demon that’ll grow up to an avenger… if you don’t end it now, you wont have no one left to save. You can say goodbye to Nezuko… your friends, your family…”

Tanjiro stops infront of the infant pausing to think, hesitation was visible in the young man who was only trying to survive and break this terrible plague but he couldn’t… its just an infant….

Tanjiro stod his ground quickly picking the infant

“I’ll raise it as my own! I’ll take her far from home! Make sure her past is never known! Please I’m on my knees! There has to be another way!” The sun hashira begged Yorichii on his knees as his eyes tear up looking for any ounce of mercy.

Yorichii’s ghost stays silent as he closed his eyes, his stare moved away from the young boy to avoid him

“Young Kamado… forgive me for I have chosen the wrong soul…” Those were Yorichii’s last words as he vanished leaving Tanjiro alone with the infant on his arms.

When does the reason become the blame?

Tanjiro knew that if he told the others about the infant, they would finish the job he couldn’t… so he ran away, far far away to raise the infant that was now in his care, the offspring of the enemy, the child of a murderer who killed millions including the young hashira’s family.

thoughts on ‘edge of the world’

this episode was lore and worldbuilding heavy so i wanna organise my thoughts and observations on it 

this episode has confirmed that other titan-continents exist and that there are other populations/settlements of people other than the boiling isles

this begs the question of why the boiling isles titan is the titan, perhaps because the boiling isles is the most populated continent?? 

we don’t know how much of the titan trapper’s beliefs were purely made up by bill but the collector having a vested interest in titans being murdered + what he said last episode about ‘being trapped beneath these [the boiling isles’ titan’s] bones’ is um,, well its certainly something 

the moon disc thingy that was part of the murder ritual with king is identical to the one philip discovered back during elsewhere and elsewhen, although its broken, its unclear of it is actually the same one but it’s definitely got something to do with getting into contact with the collector 

speaking of the murder ritual: by stabbing king they would be spilling his blood, titan’s blood is the most powerful know magic substance, titan’s blood is powerful enough to create portals between realms, the collector is ‘trapped’ somewhere

we dont know where hunter is but he certainly didn’t go back to the owl house that’s for sure, i imagine eda was also probably too busy dealing with luz (who was also deeply traumatised by the events of hollow mind can we please acknowledge that?) to go look for him and i cant rlly blame her, although i am worried 

there was a ‘connection’ established between king and the collector, it is unknown what this implies or if said connection is still even in place but we do know that bill believed by creating this connection and killing king, it would free the collector 

(im not overly fond of them but these the-collector-will-possess-someone theories are definitely picking up steam) 

tarak said ‘welcome to the other side of the world’ when greeting king and luz,; rather than the magical tractor beam thing they went through transporting them to another realm, i think they were taken to the other side of the planet that the boiling isles and other titan-continents are on

(this raises the question of whether the demon realm is actually even a realm, as in, an alternate universe, or whether it may actually just be an alien planet far from earth) 

the fact that the titan trappers spoke english suggests that it possibly serves as a lingua franca for the whole planet/realm, or perhaps that the titan trappers are descended from boiling isles residents

(i do wonder if it’ll ever be explained why english exists both in the human realm and the demon realm, i understand logically that it just makes the story easier and that i should apply suspension of disbelief, but i do wonder if there’s an in-universe explanation for it, especially since there doesnt seem to be a boiling isles equivalent of spanish, but the idea of foreign languages doesnt seem weird to anyone, implying that other languages did or so still exist on the isles/in the demon realm) 

the magical tractor beam thing that took king and luz to the titan trappers’ isles was based upon some kind of circular glyph/diagram/drawing, possibly the ‘similar-to-luz’s-glyphs’ wild magic that hunter mentioned back in hunting palismen?

additionally: it didnt seem like any of the titan trappers had coven sigils or even palismen, but they still used magic, suggesting that they’re probably a tribe of wild witches who still use magic techniques from the ‘savage ages’ 

bill remembers a time before belos’ reign and also thinks that he’s smallfry compared to an actual titan in terms of evilness which is.. worrying 

going back to the collector, luz misremembered their dialog with belos as more aggressive and violent, which could likely be the fear and trauma muddling her memories, but may also have a deeper meaning 

luz also refers to the collector as ‘that collector kid’ meaning that to luz he not only gives off a vibe of mischievousness and/or evilness, but also specifically youthfulness/childishness, which is interesting seeing as the collector has existed since at least the deadwardian era, if not much longer 

the fact that the titan trappers have a belief system based around the collector at all means that they’re capable of interacting with people despite being ‘trapped’, additionally the flashback from the owl beast we saw in knock knock knocking on hooty’s door shows that the collector, at some point, had a physically tangible body 

the titan trappers generally look closer to witches than demons, but given their abnormal height range and oddly coloured sclera, its likely that they’re of partial demon heritage 

(ive also seen some people suggest that their appearances may be due to the titan trappers being ‘inbred’ which would kind of make sense seeing as they’re a small and presumably isolated tribe, but that feels like a very iffy implication for kids cartoon to make and maybe also kinda ableist?? idk but the idea doesn’t really sit right with me) 

the trappers all wore titan skull that fit over their heads, suggesting that they or their ancestors tended to kill titans when they were still relatively young

we know that king is only eight years old and has apparently begun ‘demon puberty’ but we also have no clue what the life span of a titan, how their aging/developmental process works or nor how long it takes them to reach boiling isles size, there could be rapid growth periods involved for all we know 

we dont know whether or not titans are a species of demon or if they’re their own thing either 

king being a titan solves the issue of the last of luz’s titan’s blood getting used up in the previous episode in the very least, although it does also raise some very concerning implications if belos finds out what he is 

king is, presumably, the last of his kind, many of the titan trappers appeared to be adults yet bill said none of them other than him had ever encountered a living titan, this suggests that king possibly spent multiple years in his egg before hatching, or that his biological parents were very well hidden from the trappers, although i’m unsure as to how exactly they’d hide so well if titan’s grow to be as big as continents 

king’s demon family in his dream didnt include a mother, likely because he already views eda as filling that role, which is very sweet 

‘the huntsman’ exists as another epithet for the collector, this may or may not be related to him trapping the owl beast 

eda’s comment at the start of the episode that luz is ‘ready to talk’ suggests that this episode happens very closely after the events of hollow mind, perhaps even the next morning 

luz jumping on so quickly to solving the mystery of king’s heritage was her being a supportive big sister for sure, but was almost definitely also her deflecting away from the traumatic event she’d just been through, and i am 99% sure this habit of avoiding, undermining the importance of, and deflecting away from her own issues is going to come back to bite both her and the rest of us all in the collective ass 

on the happier side: king has explicitly stated that he views luz not just as a friend, but a sister, which is adorable and another win for us found family lovers 

in universe it is only a week away from the day of unity, which means that hopefully darius, raine, and eberwolf already have counterplan fully ready to go, if not, eda and lilith are going to need to help them come up with something quick

< Genshin Impact was a game that took the human realm by storm, with its open-world gameplay, its competitive PvE and aesthatic settings, it was truly something that captured you the moment the beta was announced. Although, as with any Gacha games, you weren’t only attracted to the world and its setting.

The characters were truly the main eye candy of the game. You’d been worried that when you had been sucked into Devildom, you wouldn’t be able to access the game due to, yknow, realm differences, but luckily that wasn’t the case thanks to Levi, and hence why the moment it dropped, you had been spending your life savings simping for characters on every banner.

But Lucifer does smile the smallest of smiles as he sighs, finding it silly to really get jealous over such a small thing and says

“I love you too, my dear... but you do have to make up for distracting me from my work...”

Well you kinda deserve it, so it wasnt long before both his work and your phone had been ditched

( After a while you do kinda see him quite similar to Diluc and it just makes you smile everytime you think about it, seems you have a thing for the strict cold men huh?)

You felt your own heart speed up and your face burn so hard, but you do mumble him a quick “But... But why though?”

“Cuz! If you start cryin’ Lucifer’s gonna beat my ass! Dont think I did it for you, you human! I just dont want him taking away Goldie again!”

“But I thought this was your gambling money, isnt it?”

He also goes out of his way to memorize locations for materials for you, and when youre sick or busy, he pilots your account

10 Anti LO Asks

1. I don't think LO fans get this but the having to resort to tearing everything else down to prop it up is actually a worse indictment on its quality than not. If LO is truly this great of a piece of work, it should be able to stand on its own, not having harassment/smear campaigns against even remotely similar (or not) pieces of work to make it look "better" in comparison. What happened to H/P Ficlets is probably the most nasty example of LO fans being cruel in the name of making LO look "better"

2. I want to know what Kool-Aid LO fans are on because I've seen so many of them say the art is actually BETTER than it was in the beginning. Like girl what, go check your eyes 💀

3. I saw Overly Sarcastic Production's explanation of the Persephone myth. It started out really good, covering the 'possible' ancient background on the myth, and reiterating how the Homeric Hymn to Demeter is the best version we have in terms of detail. They also don't try and demonize Demeter or try to make the myth seem like some kind of romance epic.

Then the end of the video comes along and ruins the entire thing - they basically encourage people to read Lore Olympus and continue the false narrative that Persephone and Hades are the 'most functional relationship' in mythology.

It's just so frustrating to see even a popular myth youtube channel is falling for the Tumblr false interpretation of the myth that ruined Lore Olympus while completely missing the point of the story. It was always meant to be about the relationship between mother and daughter - not a damn romance. 

4. ive seen so many lo fans condemn zeus (in comic) for being more flamboyant/not being hyper masculine as hades and im like 1) ok so hades is boring while zeus is fun, got it but also 2) considering zeus' myth canon bisexuality and lo's obsession with being very heterosexual that just seems ... wrong. like i dont think they mean to be biphobia/harmful while saying stuff like this but the fact they do zero relfection on it is a big issue.

5. tbh i was willing to give the benefit of a doubt about hades and minthe but then we find out HADES is the one who blurred the lines and chased after HER and started the relationship and made her to have an apartment and stuff all under HIS control so its like?? he went after her, he's the one who wasnt being professional and went after his employe, he controls all her finances and the literal roof over her head, but we're supposed to be on HIS side and see her as ungrateful/evil??? girl what!!

6. im sorry i just cant take the "sexy" panels hades seriously because 1) its always very clearly traced, 2) it just doesnt look right given how bad the anatomy is, but also 3) its just weirdly ooc?? like rachel cant decide if hes this serious brooding king who you dont mess with or an empty headed, horny teenager. im not saying he cant have duality to him but its hard to be like "isnt he cute?" when he owns slaves, neglects children, & takes advantage of vulnerable young women into relationships

7. im begging rachel to pick up an anatomy book or something on her break WHY is hades' head so tiny now??? how did she go from semi ok anatomy to whatever this is?? and you cant go "thats her style!" because it legit doesnt even look good or cohesive or even like what we know she once could do, it just looks like a mess. i dont get how you draw non-stop for years and actually get WORSE at it.

8. i just get sad because i follow a lot of webtoon creators who feel dejected and neglected by WT meanwhile they just throw up more and more promotion for LO and shove it everyones' faces (when it very much does NOT need the help) while these other creators feel so left behind many that many of them don't even want to make another comic again. i cant imagine that feels good that they have to work twice as hard if not more to even get noticed meanwhile rachel just gets everything handed to her.

9.i do not get why rachel went with the "gods dont care/hate mortals" take in LO. even just a skim of any myth will show you the gods, for all their faults, did care about mortals and wanted the best for them. like if they hated them so much, why even let them exist? why care persephone killed so many of them? why provide them with food, water, etc? also most of the male gods have children with mortal women, why would they do that if they hate them? it's such a bad take to go with.
