⸺ ommgggg !!! i've been playing the game bit by bit in my free time and im actively going batshit over this man. so here are some of my thoughts……………….

you met leon during the events of RE2 in raccoon city. you ever heard of scary dog privilege? that was basically him with you the entire night. your personal bodyguard, your guard dog. he saved your life over and over and over again until you both practically lost count. however, once you both survived the night and the sun arose, you went your separate ways (much to his dismay). law enforcement and the government were attempting to track down survivors, due to their theories of them having links with umbrella. you had absolutely nothing to do with it, obvi. so, to avoid it all, you vanished. and for 6 long, insufferable years, leon has lived without you. countless therapy sessions, solace in alcohol, and numerous partners who didn’t last longer than a month, nothing could make him forget you.

now (knowing your luck), you just so happen to be one of the missing hikers the police officers speak of in the very beginning of RE4. you were taking a daily stroll through the woods to meditate before you were kidnapped and brought into the los iluminados cult. fortunately for you, you managed to evade being infected. however, you have still spent the last week in sheer misery. running from the village-folk, dodging hidden bear-traps, and scavenging for any crumbs you could consume. you can only dream of the shower you'd take after this nightmare, where you can scrub your skin of the grime, blood, and god knows whatever substances have stained your form. you did befriend a lone wolf, however, so that's a plus!

leon just so happens to be in the same area you're in, only with intentions of saving the president's daughter. he had hoped that by becoming a secret agent, he would be able to manipulate the provided resources and find you. before he knows it, leon soon wakes with a gasp, finding his hands above his head and his wrists chained together. he yanks the chain down, only to hear a quiet voice whisper "hey, quit it!" that voice. leon springs to his feet and turns to verify his suspicions, the sudden movement behind you scaring you into doing the same. he gasps your name in disbelief, before he falls into awed silence while staring at you in complete captivation. you have no fucking idea how much he missed you. all these years of searching for you, dread satiated through him at the possibility of you being dead. leon knows in his heart he would not have the strength to live if you had truly been gone forever. but now, there are no worries. the light of his entire life is alive and by his side! exactly where they belong.

on your end, however, was a complete different story. that night 6 years ago was now an entire blur. umbrella had managed to hunt you down mere days after the event, drugging you with a variety of different remedies. their efforts succeeded and had caused you to almost completely forget that night. your brain has only been able to scrutinize the blood, the death, and the groaning and screaming of undead figures around you. weekly visits with your therapist are helping you disinter forgotten pieces, but leon wasn't present in any of these newfound memories. so, when this stranger whispers your name into the air and stares at you as if you had just descended from heaven itself, you aren’t able to connect the dots.

a smile, one that could rival the sun, breaks out on the face of the mysterious blonde. tears brim in his honeyed gaze. "oh, god. you have no fucking idea how happy i am to finally see you!” holding his hands out, he takes several long strides towards you to engulf you, to where you take several steps away from him.

"who the fuck are you?" his world shatters, "how do you know me? are you the one behind this shit?" your eyes are full of confusion and uncertainty. a major contrast to the look of heroism and gratitude you gazed at him with ages ago.

without another breath, leon pulls the chain towards him, causing you to spring forward. your wrists are tied above your head and your feet are practically dangling off the floor. there are now mere inches in between you and this man. and the look of sheer horror on his face is unforgettable.

"look at me…” his eyes feel like bullets stinging into you, tears spilling down his cheeks. “it- it's me, angel! it’s leon! leon scott kennedy, i worked in the RPD that night 6 years ago.” his breath hits your face as he desperately recounts the worst night of your life. “y/n, i saved your life. and you saved mine. don't you remember?"

leon’s hand cups your face, skin hovering over yours, almost as if he were afraid to fully touch you. his face scrunches up from the sobs racking through his body.

“don’t you know how much i still love you?”

you finally have the revelation that whoever this 'leon scott kennedy' is was with you that night in raccoon city. you also conclude that you are most definitely not getting away from him so easily.

n e ways.... i went wayyyy to overboard with this, but like i said, i've been having some THOUGHTS about re4 and our golden boy. also some other characters too, hehe…………

okay so tHIS ONE. I JUST. so i have a little sister, who, a few years ago, had an obsession with two things. disney channel original movies, and sofiia carson. this meant i have been exposed to all three descendants movies yes, but what it ALSO means is that i have been exposed to the "adventures in babysitting" reboot they had.

which means now i am thinking about colin babysitting the Higgins' boys and Nora, while Jamie is babysitting Henry and Phoebe. on the same night. and of course shenanigans happen, one of the kids has snuck out, one of the higgins' boys has a really important science project, another is experiencing his first heart break, jamie thinks he's taught henry some cuss words, they are both MESSES.

does it end up in frantic calls and impromptu trip out to find the one kid who snuck out? does that result in hiding from keeley/roy and the higgins' parents on their date night? do they run into trent crimm and his daughter at some point? yes. all that and MORE.

and in true "adventures in babysitting" style, when they get back to the higgins' house the place is a mess bc the washing machine was running, the dog tracked mud in the house and destroyed the science project, and colinjamie + the kids have to do a rush cleanup job. and then jamie has to sneak his kids back to his place bc ted and roykeeley are gonna be back SOON.

What video games do you like to play?

Honestly Im a grab bag of a gamer!

I used to be massively into the souls games but after I played them too much I just cant seem to go back to them.

I absolutely love a good chill vibing game like Stardew Valley, Story of Seasons and Rune Factory, have frankly logged far far too many hours into Stardew as it is.

Then recently Ive been feeling the urge for some fast paced action so Ive been going through some older fps's like I just beat Blood on well done a few months back working my way through Amid Evil now, absolutely adore Ultrakill even though I am god awful at it and am not even good enough to beat the first Gabriel fight much less unlock the entire second act.

Of course if you want to count them and I most certainly do I am a visual novel addict, and if you dont think VN's are games go find a copy of Kamidori Alchemy Meister and get as addicted to that games tactical combat as I am! (Its a fire-emblem like only more high fantasy)

But the Majikoi series stands out above all the visual novels, hell Majikoi is so important and amazing to me Id put it in my top three favorite experiences Ive ever had from a piece of art!

Occasionally when the mood strikes me Ill boot up a good ole RPG obviously you have your OG classics like Chrono Trigger (Which I happen to have a SNES cart of) but newer classics that forgo the turn based combat systems as well like Ni no kuni!

As with all things however I have a pair of games that I play for comfort and never bore me or get stale, the first is Diablo 2, I began playing Diablo 2 when I was just six years old something about the game drew me in and has never let go the moment I first laid eyes on the rouge encampment an obsession was formed. During a move my dad lost his copy of Diablo 2 and I begged him to get me a new one, when my asshole abusive brother destroyed that copy I scrounged every penny I found on the street to buy it again, due to complicated circumstances ive lost or had my copy of Diablo 2 ruined I think about 6-8 times but when the Itch to play it comes from deep inside my skull I cannot refuse so Ive had to re-buy the damn thing that many times! I dont know how long Ive spent playing Diablo 2 but just a gut feeling says that it would have to be measured in YEARS.

The other Game is Terraria I bought Terraria on Steam day one, I remember watching the developers lets play back on youtube at the same time I was playing the game, Terraria does not have as much of a story in my life as Diablo 2 but since I bough it day one on steam 12 fucking years ago I actually do have my total collective play time

That's 3,204.4 hours thats more than double my next most played game on steam (Titan Quest at 1,417.8 hours CAN YA TELL I LOVE ARPG's?) that equates by the way to 133.5 days straight of just playing Terraria. No I do not have all the Achievements in Terraria I play games to have fun and escapism doing a checklist of things in a game isnt fun!

There are so many more games I adore but this is already too long!

if you search for recommendations on literally any forum you'll see the name fallen hero pop up! you play as a telepathic sidekick turned villain in a revamped version of los angeles, wherein people gain powers via modifications! it is widely regarded for many many reasons! the writing is amazing and the characters are everything!!! herald my beloved ❤️

there is the speaker on itch.io!! you are the twin sibling of your sister, The Seer (name customizable) and only you can properly convey her visions and prophecies!! your sister gets a vision of a future murder victim, and you're doing everything in your power to stop it! there are found family aspects to it and it makes me very happy :) im madly in love with sebby and li hahaha

im obsessed with the bastard of camelot!! the writing is so so fantastic but i have to say theres a huge BUT!! it deals with very very sensitive themes in a prominent way thats like . the entire premise of the story ! these themes are, imo, handled very well! please view the trigger warnings and play at your own descretion 🙏 buuuut you play as mordred, and there is a prophecy that you will bring ruin to camelot ..... will you try to avert it, or will you accept it? 😳

im still playing through fields of asphodel, but i really am enjoying it!! its a retelling of sorts of persephone and hades youre persephone! you get sent down to the underworld and stuff and make friends!! im not selling this very well www but i really recommend it!!

there's the passenger, where you play as an eldritch horror in the body of a human! you plummeted to earth in an attempt to run from something trying to kill you .... admittedly i have not finished it yet (i have an absolutely insane backlog OTL) but i've been enjoying it a lot!! its very sweet ❤️

i liked the adventures of sherlock holmes a whole lot!! i think you can guess the premise LOL but you're sherlock holmes!! you go on wacky adventures!!!! watson is so cute i love them!!!!!!

my friend hex got me into resident evil, mainly by slightly talking about it as i played dead by daylight (since i primarily play leon on there). ever since that, i felt myself liking the franchise a lot, however, leon was my key point of interest, obviously. im not quite sure what about the character grabs me so intensely, but i never find myself able to wiggle out from the grip of my insanity towards him. he brings me a huge dosage of serotonin every time i get to talk about him. even just doing small things relating to him seem to make me happy. things like that happen for me a lot when i find myself growing pretty attached over a character. sometimes it reaches a borderline obsessive nature, especially if it brings me large amounts of happiness, as i'll then begin to pursue it more and more. this will cause me to also Post about it more and more, or talk about it to friends if i have no active social media. again, could i tell you the specific character points that make me like him? ... probably not! he's just a basic white guy and i am Deeply attracted to him in many different ways. a little crazy about him, i might say. now you also tie in the fact that i finally played RE2 just yesterday (my friend hex bought it and a few other RE games for me a few weeks(?) ago but i just recently got around to downloading them and so far have only done the second game) and of course, seeing my current Favorite Boy in the video game he comes from, made me absolutely extra bonkers. thats why you probably saw me post a few extra times about him. that will probably happen any time i play the game/see him on screen. maybe even if i just see a media of him that i like a lot. how its gotta be in this psych-ward worthy brain of mine

Throughout writing the GSA SL AU, what has been your favorite part(s) of it to flesh out? Also, what drew you to Izanami as a character, what made you want to expand on them to write your AU? I think I've seen you talk about why in passing, though Bad Memory makes it to remember so sorry if you have explained that before.

I was going through my analysis tag and called myself so smart and maybe I am glad for my dramatic writing to make lore sound so pish poshy . also it's okay !!! if you don't remember . if the social anxiety I am a multilingual mess of a chatterbox who will say the same thing over and over again like a broken record but maybe multiple copies of the same record just warped differently . does that make sense. my english teachers have told me I need to work on my summary writing and I don't think I improved <3 anywho cracks knuckles. also happy 1.3k words

gsaslau........ my favorite was.... everything. the world building, the lore, the characters, mental flowcharts and concept maps. canon divergency has always been my favorite, paired with the fact I love analysing shit in the first place. I took one look at this idiot and saw all the pitiful overlooked potential hiding in their dumb oil scented uniform and tried to rip it out and put it in centrifuges and stretching it out as far as possible. people think I'm out of dough but I'm a little menace with a squirrel living inside my brain who just adds more dough. I will get a Thought and sit in a discord chat and monopolize it while literally everyone else is asleep because of the concept of timezones and I type for three hours and pass out; for an afternoon nap or the fact it became 3am.

iznmi is just sooooooo. barren. an absolute blank slate but also they're not. they're unpolished and deliberately dirtied. maybe theyre so empty and I have to take them to literal puddles and make sure every drop of whatever makes them at least half full in a sense. they're the puddle and I dug out a lake with a toy shovel. under all those layers I know there's nothing. but there's also something. there's a corpse. an actual person. an answer. a question. a migraine that would torment me for a week maybe.

a tiny tiny bit of context, before entering uh. here. the p4 community or if im ever actually considered to be part of it, I came from a humble little community where everyone was friends (ninokuni). I did my fair share of analysis and canon divergency and expressed my fear for bigger communities for mainstream media. so when i got here I decided to stay in this hole. this ditch. quarry mine. reminiscent of patrick star's house. I watched visualive! it was the end for me. no literally my brain was hardwired so badly I knew from that point on i would never be a normal p4 fan ever. adachis chair car adventure. THE END OF IT ALL.

I finished the game and that did Not help my conscience. I entered the fandom at that point and had my darkest days. but I learned a lot from it and I'm grateful for that

I was nitpicking EVERYTHING. I was asking so much questions and I had so much fun answering them. then coming back a year later with so much more answers, or maybe debunk my own views with something more enlightening I had to write my revelations while brushing my teeth after a shower. interpreting was great connecting dots were thrilling. the "what if" questions went too far and started. this (gsaslau) WHICH technically started when I watched vl and it hit me full force once I actually started thinking about it.

to me there was just. so much to do with the god and their humansona you don't understand. the fact they're intertwined with lore so much you had to check every nook and cranny and go mad while at it? then again that was a win win for me since I was basically picking at media analysis too.

I was there.... brute forcing translation as a non native. cracking into the game trying to find SOMETHING. I was buying books i couldn't read for One (1) page of trivia in a small little box with less than a paragraph. I went through spinoffs games and novels and drama cds and stageplays and art books and magazines and interviews and livestreams and blog posts and tweets. I was learning so much as time went by and i had so many new pieces I could tinker with and create completely new machinations I would adore.

I drew art comics wrote fic and analysis and wiki articles I edited pictures videos gifs modded games cracked into them for assets 3d models dialogue secret textures events I manufactured my own merch for pete's sake I gaslit so many people with fake screenshots and convincing formats and i wish i could do that again

okay kinda segued there I'll try and go back. my favorite to flesh out was... world building? dealing with the butterfly affect and figuring out the consequences in this and seeing how the story change would make me so excited. maybe souji wouldn't want to kill namatame on the spot and his vision would stay foggy because he can't accept the truth that some of the people he's friends with are those who started this citywide crisis. maybe adachi does care about people and realizes his feelings and decides to abandon his fake life he started for the sake of his loved ones so they wouldn't get hurt again. maybe namatame was a bit happier after the trauma of someone leaving him and more mentally stable and took care of nanako well that he's earned her trust and does his best not to break that loyalty ever. making parallels like marie and mim being one and the same and so different at the same time. MAYBE god develops humanity within themself after being so convinced they couldn't and has conflicting morals between their duty and their wants as their own person. exploring the possible relationships are also high up there like souji and namatame being friends or nanako scaring a gas station attendant twice her size. adachi and mim's friendship is a given.

iznmi canon or not, they just have....so so much potential and the fact they're lore itself doesn't help. and I think it's fucking hilarious you can finish the game knowing NOTHING about them. at all. what if there was more to this silly npc who only appears during a rainy weather flag..... vl sparked too many ideas. what if god had a bit more screentime in that personality that we could see their thought process some more while they observe the protagonist's journey throughout the entire game. the realization they hey, maybe humans' Shadows won't kill them one day. maybe they'll have the strength to stop denying themselves and accept them to achieve a greater power.

So random thought, but I was watching a video of a sims youtuber talk about being autistic and it brought up some memories and thoughts that I thought you might want to use as a reference for your character Nairne (I think that's her name I'm hoping I remembered that right).

Ok so autistic inertia "is the notion that when autistic people need to stop doing a task it can be difficult to restart and once we have started working on a task or project it can be really difficult to stop." - Kella Gehlert

Basically for me it affected my school work a lot because switching tasks for different subjects or even within a class was really hard for me. It's like being weighed down and needing some time to get up, I need time to pull my brain away from whatever it's doing. I can't do it immediately. I also feel this a lot when I play video games and my moms like "ok you need to set the table now!" Like.... I need time to process that and wind down before I can stop and save! Also adults don't really get that video games take time to save and exit and you can't just stop immediately lol. But that's a different problem. It takes time for me to process transitions. Which us also why I need lots of time to get ready before I leave to go somewhere.

Slow processing speed. I struggle with this A LOT. Basically it's your brain processing things more slowly. I speak pretty slowly be cause it takes me longer to think of words, figure out how to pronounce them and then say them. It also takes me longer to react to things which made my dance teacher hate me. Also if you ask me for the salt it will take like two minutes for me to register that, process it and then move to get it for you. This is also affected by auditory processing disorder which I'm sure you know about.

But if you don't it's basically a delayed auditory response or not being able to hear things clearly if they're too fast. That's why I need to watch things with subtitles. That's also why most fast songs sound like asghsdbbscvb to me so I need to look up the lyrics. It's also a symptom of ADHD.

Interoception is the next one, which is the awareness of your body essentially and what's going on with it. Autistic people often have poor interoception. We often don't realize we're tired, or hungry or that we need to go to the bathroom until it's absolutely dire, or sometimes not at all. There are different levels of this based on the person. But me personally, I'm bad with eating and with sleeping. But my insomnia also stems from my nightmares. This leads to me forgetting to eat or just not eating because I'm not hungry.

Which leads me to my next point. Tw for Eating disorders mention.

EDs are super common amongst autistic ppl especially autistic girls and afabs. For multiple reasons. Sometimes for a need to control things and obsessively monitor something, sometimes it's because of sensory issues with the texture and taste of food. And then sometimes you're like me and between not really feeling hunger and suffering from executive dysfunction I struggle to eat. I've never been diagnosed with an ED but I have gone days without meals so that can't be great.

That's all I can think of for now! Please let me know if you want me to send me any more stuff if you need help. Also, I think you mentioned you use music to write like me and I know you may have already made a playlist for Nairne or at least for your WIP. But there is a playlist I made for Rory full of songs that give autistic womanhood/ woman aligned ish type vibes. If you want me to send u it I totally can.

Again, object in motion stays in motion unless acted by unbalamces force. In this case you staying in the activity previous would be the motion and being pulled away would kind of be the unbalancing force! Can i describe it as that? Disruption from a task or processing transition needs its transitionary period on ots own.
