Hello 😁! Here is a "brief" overview of generation names. This prospective is very U.S. facing idk if years change pre country.

(Sorry for any spelling mistakes I'm on mobile)

But thier are currently 8-ish generations:

(People who lived during) WWII 1922 - 1827

The silent generation 1928 - 1945

Boomers 1946 -1954 Baby boomers 1955 - 1964

Gen X 1965 -1980

Millennials 1981 - 1995 (also known as Gen Y)

Gen Z 1996 - 2012 (also know but rarely called Zommers)

Gen Alpha 2012 - current (this will change in probs with in the decade)

Generations names historically were used to show a difference is social behaviors of people normally a generation would come to an end/start a new one with massive historical change. For example the silent generation is known from living through the Great Depression, while Millennials are known as people who grew up while technology was rapidly advancing during their childhood in teenage years. In general, think did this group of people live through something horribly disastrous (that's a generation)? Or did a group of people live through something historically awesome?

Recently, Gen Z has broken that pattern scine generational names are no longer used as indicators of a person's development and behavior during the historical events that they grew up through. Instead these needs have been reclaimed for marketing. Obviously these generational names are still used to talk about historical events in people's behaviors, but the time frame gaps of when a generation starts and ends have now been used as a separations of how to push products. In the late 2000s right before the name Gen Z was coined everyone younger then a Gen X was considered a Millennial. This eventually had to change because marketing companies soon realized they cannot advertise products the same way to people who are in their mid to late twenties to someone who's 16. I think this happened around 2016/2017 don't quote me on that.

If Gen Z generational cut off was going to follow its predecessors Gen Z should be notated by starting in 2001 or 2000 at the earliest (again atleast from an American perspective).

Also with the starts and ends of generational groups is loosely defined numbers because a lot of people identify with the generation before or after their own. These people are referred to as 'cuspers', and have thier own micro-names (think the naming conventions we use for ships in fandom) There are cuspers in every single generational group. It just happens because, "society norms and trends don't just suddenly disappear with a number of the year changes." That is a direct quote for my old high school history teacher lol.

Oh! Last thing you are right to think of Zommers as "scooters". The original reason I believe behind the name Zoomer was to describe teenagersand older kids/pre-teens at the time as people who are always moving always on the go, or being busy and trendy on their phone. Fun fact another almost name for generation zoomer was generation iPad. Also Generation Z was given the letter Z not just because the word is Zoomer, but because of whatever bad historical things were happening at the time people thought we would be the "last generation".

its like. your telling me that all it takes is for rinne's unitmates to say ONE genuine compliment towards him to make him short circuit and lose the act ??? and your telling me niki has NOT taken advantage of this???? COULD YOU IMAGINE THE POWER HE WOULD HAVE IF NIKI JUST KNEW THIS INFORMATION???

i hc that rinne's unitmates (esp niki) will just randomly give him a genuine compliment just to see him flustered and be the one embarrassed for once, like some strange sort of karma or something

OK LOL THIS IS MY SECOND TIME WRITING THIS, I WROTE OUT A WHOLE ASS ESSAY AND TUMBLR DECIDED TO WIPE IT CLEAN....I WROTE LIKE 600 WORDS WITH SCREENCAPS AND EVERYTHING THE FIRST TIME and now its 1.5k words. 

ANYWAYS YES YES YES ANON.... I TOTALLY AGREE i think about this a lot.. asobi club my beloved. i also think the crazyb scenarios have SOOO much potential and i loooove thinking about stuff like this as well because its always nice to take the more outwardly confident charas down a peg. because why not. im a sucker for niki having the upper hand for once ❤️

now i will proceed to provide 500 examples and analyse them because i also think about this facet of rinne’s character a lot (the one that becomes timid when good stuff is said about him, or how he’s actually a Nice Person but covers that up as best as he can) and i would like other ppl to think about it a lot too. this is basically just a hc/small analysis dump post so sorry anon for you have opened the floodgates 

i love every aspect of rinne’s personality but this side of him, the one that grows so easily flustered around others when he’s caught off-guard, is the best imo. he doesn’t really show it around most ppl, only niki, hiiro, and kids (like shinobu!!) because those are the only ppl that bring that out, bc theyre so earnest, so genuine in their intentions, that rinne is forced to confront reality As Is instead of dance around the subject.

a lot of the cast is convinced that rinne is this unapproachable, eccentric, inconsiderate asshole (which is true, at times - he’s carefully developed this persona so if he wants people to see him that way, it’s what they see) but when they actually put away these boundaries a lot of the time ppl see that he’s just. some guy (a silly example of this is chill yellow where hokuto, tsukasa and keito try to enlist his help to help them ease into “villain” roles for their auditions, and when rinne sees their efforts he’s so bewildered by it all he puts his wild image to the side to be like what the hell? you guys are all freaks???)

gonna split this into several little sections but for example, with niki i think niki doesn’t realize he can take advantage of it because a lot of the time these advances from rinne are met with complete disbelief. granted niki doesnt really think to compliment rinne often, it’s usually the other way around. so when rinne is being completely earnest, unabashed in his devotion for niki, niki turns around and goes “what??? what?” like he cant understand that such nice words are being said to or about him. THIS IS A TOPIC FOR ANOTHER TIME THOUGH, we’re talking about rinne here…. sorry i am physically incapable of not making everything even a little bit about rinniki….

of course this grants rinne an easy way out: instead of addressing that he’s being fully serious and owning up to these feelings his kneejerk response is to be like “kyahaha, stuupid niki! i can’t believe you’d fall for that!” but we all know he’s dying inside. it’s obvious. there’s only so many genuine, loving remarks a guy can make towards his guy best friend before the audience starts catching onto the fact that maybe he’s not actually joking, and that his guy friend just has severe self esteem issues, and is also plain stupid (endearing). IF NIKI OPENED HIS EYES HE COULD HAVE RINNE ON HIS KNEES….. WE’RE ROOTING FOR YOU…..

that’s exactly what happens in this scene, and they go on to play bicker because thats. their love language, i guess???? they’re weird. i love them

also we all know how rinne reacts to niki asking to kiss him in hot limit. regardless of how you interpret his reply (whether hes upholding his hometowns customs, being shy, or trying to make sure niki is serious about him..) most ppl can agree that after all of his advances in main story and towards niki In General he was probably freaking out, but handling it very well

niki is simply too reactive to respond to rinne’s genuine comments and be calm about it… i dont think he realizes rinne truly means all of them and his view about himself is too low to just accept the compliments and when niki gets flustered, rinne gets flustered too, but unlike him becoming speechless like he does with other people, rinne combats it with humor, b/c this is the sort of thing he and niki are used to. this, however, is not how he deals with affection coming from other people…..

gonna attach the exact scene i think you were talking about here, but when compliments come from those younger than him, like hiiro and shinobu, his initial reaction is a lot different

i’m going to link the tl for nursery rhymes as the op does not want their tls reposted, but this is the exact chapter that i think you’re referring to, the interaction itself is at the very end in case other people would like to see.

rinne points out that there’s no clever retort to shinobu’s genuine compliment, that there’s no banter he can build off of to “defend” himself - so he’s left feeling shy, and exposed. ofc its not shinobus intention to make him feel bad and idt rinne feels bad, necessarily, it’s just jarring.

rinne has a very cultivated persona that he’s built from the ground up from the end of his solo career to his current career in crazy:b. there are times this mask “slips” and he’s brought back to a similar personality to the one he had as a child in flashbacks or himself as a 17 y/o in hot limit, where he’s more meek, quiet, careful with his words, not purposely inflammatory. usually, he’s really good at keeping up appearances! look at his reputation in ES as a troublemaker with a complete disregard for everyone around him!

but when he’s confronted by people who are more “pure”, who don’t question his intentions from the get-go, he is at a loss. rinne is good around most kids because there’s no sort of “prejudice” against him, for lack of a better term; the people that this sort of thing happens around would be 1) people he loves and trusts entirely, who have known him before this persona even came into fruition (niki, hiiro) 2) people who aren’t immediately defensive around him, who don’t see him as a bad guy and trust him inherently (shinobu, for example!! sora, too! i feel like asobi club is a perfect example of this, both the story and the club itself!)

now hiiro… rinne replies to hiiros compliments in a similar way to how niki replies to His, because there’s a deep trust there between the two even though they’ve been apart for several years, and there’s enough trust for rinne to shut hiiro down completely, and get entirely flustered. i think a lot of why he’s like this with him stems from the fact that up until now hiiro was unable to express his love for his brother, or namely, he wasn’t allowed to, because of how they grew up.

rinne’s used to loving his brother, caring for him, but not the other way around, because in their hometown they were both raised with the idea that hiiro is a “liability”, that his role was to be rinne’s advisor and nothing else. for that reason and many others, rinne left his town, both because he was sick of his lack of liberty as well as being told that loving his brother was wrong, that he had to treat the one person he treasured at the time badly, that he was meant to be a leader and nothing else.

rinne goes on to explain this several times during the main story, but this is my fav instance of it b/c it hits really hard

any type of love from or towards hiiro, in this case familial, is foreign to him. so when rinne goes 5+ years without seeing his brother and his brother eventually learns that being affectionate towards rinne is okay, he’s obviously going to be a bit flustered! he’s not used to it! and hiiro is very loud and proud about it too, which probably makes it even worse for rinne. AND EVERYONE ELSE.. hiiro is not the best at picking up social cues but that is ok. it’s like when you learn something new and want to keep doing it so you dont forget and because its exciting!! hiiro is learning how to love and rinne is happy for him but he’s not equipped to deal with that .

NOT A SCREENCAP FROM IN-GAME BUT I THINK ABOUT THIS VIDEO SO OFTEN… hiiro being excited to perform with his brother and rinne is so speechless at his enthusiasm he’s like y-yeah. I LOVE IT WHEN HE IS RENDERED SPEECHLESS!!!!! 🗣️🗣🗣

the very end of main story (ch5) is dedicated to rinne talking about how he’s been told he’s wrong his whole life over every little thing he does, and i think that provides such valuable insight as to why rinne is the way he is? and why he can’t respond to genuine compliments coherently. even tho he presents himself as self-assured and does whatever the fuck he wants at this point i still think he suffers from berating himself, and it shows whenever he’s being self-sacrificial and justifies bad things happening to him with “well, i deserve this”. even though he’s come a long way, it’s always hard to unlearn harmful behaviors learned from youth

WHAT A VOLUME

SO MUCH DRAMA?? so many twists and turns..... i literally love this season and im not afraid to say it anymore. literally there is so much to unpack this volume its actually crazy

MOST IMPORTANTLY. RAPH AND DAPH GOT DUMPED. an incredibly ballsy move from fusebox that i really respect. it really increases the stakes this season knowing people as relevant as them could get dumped. dont get me wrong im gonna miss raph so much... its just so unexpected that it works. the safe choice wouldve been for one of the useless/irrelevant couples to be dumped (ehem.. bonnie and joyo) but they dumped one of the strongest couples of the villa. super ballsy

Estelle (LIs ex) making up SHIT so that our LI would sleep on the day beds. funny crazy and a little immature? yes yes and yes. entertaining? HELL YES. i know some ppl on r3dd1t will complain about this, but who cares, its a game, its a funny and entertaining. besides, our life with out LI has been literally perfect since casa, and im so thirsty for any drama. i love it. plus we get to clear up the drama and ofc make up sex bc lets be real weve had like 10 opportunities to have sex in the villa

UMA BEING UMA AGAIN. okay im 100% on her side. she has done nothing wrong ever in her life. i know this and i love her. but its literally so crazy that they didnt really give any indication that raph was rejecting uma's advances. implying theres more to raph than we thought...... hes not as loyal as he says he is......

BONNIE AND JOYO literally acting like kids (theyre coupled up in my game). it makes so much sense considering they literally have ZERO connection in my game. i love that not everyone is mature and Right all the time and that some characters.... literally do the wrong thing all the time

JOYO BEING IN LOVEEEE WITH MC. i love ittttt. lots of LIs have had "crushes" on MC in the past but its never been this explicitly acknowledged. i really love how it opens up another slow burn route with joyo which i will probably play in the future ... nyehehe

okay lastly something I found weird.. the game says whoever we "marry" has significant impact in the future episodes. does this mean we cant graft and couple up with anyone else?? that would suck but also.. eh. its a weird thing that i wish didnt really have much impact because its literally just like a challenge

okay this was much longer than i thought but i think after all these years and seasons, ive never had a volume impact me THIS MUCH. there was so much info and so much drama. im so optimistic for the next volumes although tbh i dont expect them to top this one....

walks in here talk to me about system harry <- system who believes so strongly in system harry

anon we r shaking hands 🤝🤝 system harry makes me have so many feelings he reminds me of how my system works so much.. (aka i am sitting here as the host while the peanut gallery in my mind has a Lot of commentary sdfds)

i dont tend to use system roles for myself but like a LOT of his parts function as protectors (or ‘persecutors’ i guess but i feel like most persecutors are misled protectors YAKNOW), they usually try to protect him in pretty maladaptive ways but they are TRYING .. like electrochemistry trying to ‘help’ harry cope by using substances and sex. half light reads like a trauma holding protector, constantly in fight or flight, desperately trying to protect in his twisted way as well. volition is also pretty clearly reads as a protector, who is often pretty important to keeping the whole system in check (usually.. sometimes they overdo it)

AND LIKE yeah a lot of the parts kind of act as fragments who are mostly fufill one kind of job, like hand eye coordination comes to mind. BUT some of the parts to me read as like deeply complex ppl. like physical instrument is often called coach like he has a name and everything!!!! to me he reads as like a bit of a memory holder of harrys time as a gym teacher.

and ANOTHER note on the complexity is the actual interactions the parts have with each other (the compromised scene around klaasje, and the ‘mr evrart is helping me find my gun’ thing come to mind) they talk and kinda bully each other. suggestion calls volition ‘crownhead’, they can see each other in the headspace mayhap.... 

I DUNNO I DUNNO i could make a whole post talking abt every skill and their role within the system honestly its so interesting to me!! but man the way the system actually presents itself is relatable to me bc like Yeah there is differentiated parts but it is just more convenient to just act like one being, like we dont like to make it clear to other ppl who is talking or acting. i love systems who are very clear about that stuff!! i just dont see a lot of fictional systems who just prefer to act as like one person still, like me! and are really only open abt different parts and their names to a few people. 

i think harry does open up to kim about whos who eventually and while plurality is Not well understood in elysium, kim tries his best to keep up. he takes notes :D he learns to recognize when some parts r speaking !! some of them are easier for him to recognize than others.. the system can relax around kim which probably makes it a bit easier to tell them apart bc they arent actively hiding anything .. auagah i need to keep writing my system harry fic..

I wanted to make a tumblr post cuz everywhere i found this info was no longer available so i send it into the web here.

I had a dream a few years ago where my mother (as in real life) was getting rid of all me and my sister’s toys. I begged her to keep my most favorite toy and somehow i was aware i was dreaming so i kept wondering what favorite toy it was. Bam door opened to a little Chairy.

I woke up really shook by it. Cuz i had a vague feeling it existed and it really shook something loose. I started googling and it started coming together. I fuckin LOVED pee wees playhouse. Until he was caught playing by himself and my mother was convinced this showed up in the show (like allegedly looking up miss yvonne’s dress). This actually sewed the seed to not trust ppl, especially my mother. I was like 3-4 and i knew id never seen it and pee wee was my religion. My hoar mother made me get rid of all my pee wee toys, at least with his face (the computer guy and robot figurines somehow made it another decade).

Chairy i think was tossed out earlier. She told me i was too big for it (i wasnt i could still sit in it but my mother loved telling me i was too big for things eventually sowing an eating disorder). My sister was really little and she claimed she wouldnt fit it either. She just wanted to dump it, that was her fav thing.

For a woman who fuckin insured beanie babies later, she was a wise investor. Beanies go for 50 cents now, Chairy never goes for under $250, ive seen it go for over $500.

What we know about lil Chairy

Chairy is about 24 inches wide and 32 tall. Only a limited number were made, tho i dont know how many. So few were made people think they werent for sale but i did find one with tags. Pee Wee crap was sold at JC Penney’s around 1988-1989 and the odds it was a test item strike me as high.

However many there were didnt last long. I usually see 1-2 in various conditions on ebay a year. I finally FINALLY snagged one im picking up this week. Prbly wont heal my mothers damage BUT it will look nice w Nadjita and my cats

ok anyways time to info dump about some oc shit hehehehehe

ok *rubs hands together* so like ive had this au for my warrior cat oc Sunpaw in my brain for a while and its spilling out of my ears at this point so here its is...

(gonna talk about this like yall know who tf sunpaw is and what this rp is about even tho only one person from it follows my tumblr) also TW/CW for talk of m*rder, ab*se, man*pulation (kinda but not really idk but a lot of ppl d*e and Sunpaw is man*pulated by SS and theres also a bit of talk of ab*se) and s/h

so like some background stuff is that basically everything happens slightly earlier on. Like SS (Sun-Shadow) is born earlier and dies earlier so Darkie finds out about what SS did earlier so Sunkit gets abandoned earlier on, there for Fig, Discord, Jade, Viper and Recluse/Spider go to Pineclan arlier. Sunkit/Sunpaw meets Sun-Shadow and instead of seeing his corpse he meets his ghost. Sun-Shadow basically says a more serious version of "Arent your life tired of being nice? DONT YOU JUST WANNA GO APESHIT???" and Sunpaw, (not knowing wtf stranger danger is), says yes.

SS teaches his weird spawn how to commit arson and she gains a shit ton of blood lust. During this, She realizes why Fig and Discord seem so "scared" and unnearved by her (She looks almost identical to SS and SS was literally kitty-cat c*lt leader and ab*ser (more directly to Fig and younger members)) She gets pretty sad about this but unlike the main rp, she also gets mad. She takes thua out on herself and barely makes it to the med den (but because of the meds morning the loss of the leaders son, Sun doesnt get any treatment). Februarypaw (belongs to @willymybeloved hello bestiee), a birchclan apprentice, ends up stumbling into the med den and finding her like in the rp and they become very close almost immediately.

They start meeting up during the night (because half clan relationships oooo) and stuff because yas. Eventually Februarypaw is murdered (me and them are still tryng to figure out who but maybe her dad if hes still alive at this point or SunShadow?) and Sunpaw is absolutely distraught. Shes balling her fuckin eyes out in the med den when Sun Shadow appears (uh oh). SS is like "Lmao well Feb was just distracting you from yout training and shit so she had it coming" and Sunpaw literally fucking snaps. She immediately attacks Sun-Shadow and after a hella long fight, she tears his neck open, killing him. She is in shock for a few moments before becoming extremely proud and happy with herself for defeating him.

Sunpaw (Now named Suncrystal), Takes it upon herself to hunt down her biological family/parents (Darkie and Saffron) to confront them and probably kill them. she tracks them down and finds them. and they are happily playing and living without her. Angry, she stalks them until Darkie goes out to hunt. She follows him before revealing herself when hes somewhere the other cant hear him. She confronts him for abandoning her before attacking him. (I like to think she would light a fire and burn him to death and before she does she would say something like "WHATS THE MATTER FATHER... IM JUST LIKE SUNNY, ARENT I???" since Darkie always compared her to Sun Shadow as a child (since Darkie is Sun Shadows brother)) After killing him, she heads back to the rest of her "Family" and confronts them. Saffron tells her that she missed her and didnt have a say in what happened but Suncrystal doesnt buy it. Her siblings also dont even remember her and dont seem to like her. Angry, Suncrystal slashes and attacks all of them before running off back into the forest.

Suncrystal decides the next person shell attack will be Fig and Discord, since they seemed to "hate" her the most (they don't actually hate her and are just kinda unsettled by her). She attacks Discord (At this point Discord isnt dead but has gone blind.) Fig runs up and attacks Suncrystal. They fight for a bit before Fig pins her and is ready to slash her neck. Suncrystal tells him to kill her, but not in a mocking way, in an almost fully serious way. Tbh she's probably begging him to kill her at this point. Fig decides to just put her out of her misery and, slightly unwillingly, kills her.

The way that you can’t eat certain things while you have braces- he teases you about it. He’ll buy gum and chew it just to flex that he can and you can’t. (please, i couldn’t eat tootsie rolls while i had my braces ,<//3) 

When you tell your friends that your type is tall, they instantly wanted you to hook up with Tsukishima. He’s the first person that everyone thinks of when they hear “tall”. They thought it would be quite the impossible task, even for you, but you were able to pull it off and it was so worth. 

The witty comments don’t stop. It’s one after another and it doesn’t end until either of you have nothing left to counter the last. That’s honestly like 70% of your conversation but it’s how the two of you communicate.

Whenever you’re at his house doing homework, you’re half not paying attention to it while he’s trying to get everything right, and you love teasing him about not getting a certain problem. Partly because you want to tease him but also like you’re too lazy to actually give him the answer or walk him through how to get the answer.

He is so jealous of how you’re so smart, but he literally won’t show it. Well, he will, but he’ll deny it and say that he’s pissed off at how you’re “bragging in his face about it”.

she’s got two older sisters who were both adopted as well and though she’s acclimated quickly, she occasionally feels like the outsider in her family for the last one introduced

her parents were often a topic of discussion amongst adults and kids alike as she was growing up. her mother is white, jewish, and from new york, which is a stark contrast from her seoul born and raised business man of a father which made their whole family stand out a bit

see i like characters that are open ended, there is info abt their past n stuff, but theres things you can fill until canon contradicts it. cept you’re not obliged to follow it and continue to do what u want

ppl often question why he doesnt just kill his enemies and like....its made clear he wants to torture them and is basically inflicting his own pain on others. obvs i dont support this sort of shit irl but i actually do like this??? its a flaw that encompasses a lot of villains yet its more treated like bad writing than a problem the characters have

i also think hes p cool in his own right, in terms of overall powers and design. like ik everyone praises his design but its very pretty to me, esp the maskless one

I know i complain a lot about this & i know i may not know everything but what i do know has just continued to piss me off.

I used to use this tumblr partially just to rb stuff but also to dump shit that was on my mind kinda like a livejournal (i used to have one). I liked having it out in the open so that if ppl out there were going through something similar they could see they weren't alone in experience or in having no idea of what to do. For the past few years every time i wanted to do that i had to second guess myself bc my stepmom thought it was ok to find my blog & creep on it without letting me know until she came across something she wasn't happy with. After she told me that, i tried to change as much in my privacy settings, short of deleting my blog entirely, to prevent her from snooping if she wasn't going to respect me. I still don't know if any of it worked. For all i know she could still be.

My mind is often plagued by the time I was reaching out to my parents when i was facing homelessness, like serious homelessness. Not the summer homelessness i had already been enduring for the 5yrs prior. I'm talking i couldn't get a full time job & was barely surviving on part time work at Marshall's for minimum wage & no benefits. Im talking i was lucky i had any savings left over after college bc most got ate up - literally. Im talking i worked through college to feed myself, PLUS was an RA to cover housing fees, plus a full time student. My first apartment i was living in a large closet. As a sublet. Paying twice as much rent as i should have been. And got robbed a half a months rent.

When i was already reaching out to social services i also reached out to my parents for advice. I said nothing about money nothing about moving onto their couch. Just guidance. They came back at me with "we can't help you". They made it seem like i was asking them to carry me. I felt at that point the only option i had with what experience i had was to run away back to school. Which meant literally doubling the debt i already had. The only reason i wasn't paying into the debt at the time was i was literally too poor to.

Going back to school was great i terms of i had money finally & got to move back to salem & afford living alone. But if you're running away TO school...you don't want to go to school you want to run away. I wasn't ready, i was just desperate. So the plan failed, i failed, i ran away again. I was exceptionally "lucky" this place had jobs open.

But what im on about tonight is the info i found about my parents & their money. Now mind you when i say my parents i mean my dad & his wife. My real mom been dead long time. SHE was poor. SHE raised my sister & i primarily alone. We had food bank & food stamps & free/reduced breakfast lunch & hand-me-downs from neighbors. That's how I grew up. So when my stepmom tried to deny that we grew up poor I cut her out of my life. Haven't spoken to her in years & only just spoke to my dad for first time in years my last birthday. I sadly regret taking the call bc it was just "when you gonna move your stuff out". After years of not talking. All he could think about was that. My stuff which mind you they stuffed into a corner of a mouse-infested garage so inevitably a lot of my stuff is now rat-nestings. They couldn't spare a single one of their several fuckin rooms IN THE HOUSE.

Tonight i was bored & thought what if i can look up info on how much they couldn't help me when i was broke. Turns out they make over 220k a yr, with AT MOST one employee besides themselves to pay (didn't even pay them enough imo) & pay thousands in property taxes for property they do literally nothing with & for a house with FIVE FUCKIN BEDROOMS AND THREE BATHROOMS FOR JUST THE TWO OF THEM TO LIVE THERE & NEVER INVITE ANYONE OVER BC THEY HATE COMPANY. That is their SECOND house mind you (last i checked with my dad they are looking at buying their third jfc). But they couldn't help their own child. And yes I understand running a private business costs money. I also understand that they don't get weekly checks, it's all depending on what cases they can get/win. They always acted like they had less money than they do though. Many years they worked out of the house so there was no extra rent to pay. I've been working in my current job for over 5yrs & I am just now finally making 35k/yr after many union fights.

I can't find it in my heart to forgive them. Had mom still been alive she would have stripped their small intestines right out of their ass for turning a cold shoulder. They didn't offer any advice or help when I asked except dad tell me to sign up for the military. Which goes to show how much they actually thought about me considering I am not allowed to join the military even if I wanted to bc I am transgender. I know for a fact bc i did still have to sign up for selective service when I applied for a loan for grad school & they sent a letter back rejecting me. But I still got to sign up for the debt 🥴 It was further disturbing considering my parents have always been very anti-military. It felt like a real "go fuck yourself" response & I've never been able to shake that or been able to properly explain to them how that felt. They don't get it & they don't care bc they think it's"good for me" or "builds character". I don't think either of them have ever faced the experience my sister & esp I have. Their standards seemed to revolve only around what they wanted me to do & not at all around what I need. But had the audacity to criticize politicians doing the same thing.

The work they do is great, & I'm proud of that. They've fought to provide social security & disability support to those who need it. But what sense does it make that you're more willing to help strangers than you are your own family?

They never even visited me up here. Not once.

I hate this country i hate my family i hate money i hate bullshit. All that i care about are cats/nature, food, & weed. Everything else is a waste of my patience. And i know there are ppl out there doing good things doing right by those they love, but that shit doesn't "heal" me like it does everyone else. Basic kindness shouldn't be such a commodity.

I've spent every year ive been working here saving as much money as I can without completely neglecting myself. I've had set backs primarily due to my health. But as far as i see it I am the only safety net i have at this point. I have no life. I don't even know how to have a life anymore. Quarantine didn't even phase me bc I already had no life to give up & still had to show up to work like regular.

It's no fuckin wonder ive had so much suicidal ideation over the years, I've nowhere I feel I can turn where i feel 100% trust.

AND I'M PRIVILEGED AF. I am white, I have a steady job & a union, I am making more money more consistently than I ever have before. Getting here has been hell & terrifying. Being shown that my parents really aren't there for me, finding out that I'm actually terribly alone in the world, & literally just having to double down on being my own best friend. It definitely ices the heart & cuts the elasticity of the tolerance.

We got rear ended couple of days ago, some bumper damage and chipped paint. According to the repair shop there is no internal or inside damage to it.
