- Not a green tip, but a money saving one: if you shop online, join Honey, its a crome extension that finds you coupons on every purchase you do. Then maybe you can, y’know, plant a tree with the money you saved or something.

- Always carry around your own bags. You don’t need a fancy bag, just use our backpack, or an old bag from a gift you recieved, or some of the plastic bags from that one bag of bags you got under your sink. (And if you ever forget, save those new bags to reuse later at least).

- Try, to the best of your abilities, to use public transit, walk, or cycle the most you can. Also try to look up which of the public transit options you have (if you have more than one) is the greener one. And for the love of god, unless you have a good reason, don’t take a bus for just 6 blocks.

- If you have no choice but to use a car, then carpool, and make sure your car is as efficient as possible: remove extra weight where possible, make sure your tires are properly inflated and have the right air pressure, and slow down your travel speed by 10 km/h (6mph). All of this will both make you have a smaller enviromental impact and also save you gas money and maintenence costs.

- Carry your own water bottle and snacks/lunch to avoid buying things out of hunger while outside.

Food stuff:

- Honestly, go dumpster diving near closing times. It’s less gross than you think, will save you money, and will save perfectly good food from being sent to landfill and creating methane gas.

- Make your own apple cider vinegar out of apple scraps, like cores and skins. it’s as simple and putting the scraps on a jar, filling the jar with water and one or two tsp of sugar, covering the jar with some cloth and leaving the jar in a dark, warm place, stirring once or twice a day.

- Grow your own herbs and medicinal plants. Grow stuff like aloe in a pot (wich you can grow from a piece of a leaf), green onions, celery and leek (you can grow them in a windowsill by simply putting the ends on water!), and really anything else that you can grow easily that you use frecuently. Look at what your needs are, what you buy the most, and try to grow something that satisfies THAT.

- Make your own veggie stock with your scraps. Use skins, ends and leaves from carrots, potatoes, sweet potatoes, onions, pumpkins, celery, zuchinnis, tomatoes, and really any vegetable you use that has a soup named after it (I wouldn’t put lettuce there, for example). I have also started to put the water that comes on canned veggies, after all its just salt and veggie juice, which is all this stock is gonna be about. Set your chickpea water apart, tho. It’s called aquafaba and its an excellent egg replacement.

- Go vegan, if you can. It’s the most impactful individual action you can have for the enviroment, and it can be made unexpesively (its just easier or harder to do depending on where you live). If you can’t, then try to reduce your meat, eggs and dairy consumption. Remember you don’t have to do it perfectly to make a difference.

- Cook more at home. You know this one. Also, turn off your heating for 20 minutes before and just warm your house with the excess heat from cooking. If you did something in a pot with water, allow the water to cool before throwing it fro that sweet sweet heat.

Trash and Treasure:

- Look up your local recycling plant, and see what you can recycle on the curbside and what you can’t, and also what days are reserved por picking up recycling. Make sure the things you put there are clean and dry. (yep, you gotta wash your trash if you wanna recycle it). There’s even a chance you can make a profit off of recyclables, but if you figure out how to let me know.

- Compost at home. It’s fairly simple, and it can be done in apartments too. Research your different choices and how to properly take care of it for cheap, flea-less, rat-less, and odor-less compost.

- Im not gonna tell you to buy second hand clothes, because you probably already do, but buy second hand everything. You can get furniture, home appliances and cookware secondhand. Look around for garage sales and pawn shops.

- Mend the things you already own. Learn embroidery and some basic sewing skills for your clothes. Glue the sole of your shoes together when they start to fall apart. Teach yourself how to fix your things, youtube is right there.

- Use your public library! For gods sake! Many tumblr posts have tackled this issue better than I ever could. Use your public library. They might even have some tools or cookware you can borrow just like books instead of having to buy them yourself.

- Bulk shop. It can really be cheaper than buying in package, and you can just avoid that plastic and also avoid buying more than you need.

But the most important thing you can do is protest. None of these things, as good as they are, are enough to stop climate change. We need systematic change, and it has to come from our goverments. So donate, join activism groups, or protest.

I don’t usually make long posts, but after today I feel compelled to do this. I’m about to pop off so bare with me.

I had to hold back tears because I watched a documentary on climate change.

When the phrase “global warming” or “climate change” is spoken, people usually think this only applies to the rising temperatures, sea level, and the polar ice caps melting. What a lot of us don’t understand is that’s only a tiny portion of it. It’s not just temperatures rising, it’s whole climates being change drastically. Wet areas are becoming dry and vice versa. Lush prairies in Africa are turning into deserts. Dry areas are experiencing the worst droughts recorded. Natural disasters happen one after the other. Fires are blazing and cities are being flooded. Homes are destroyed. Lives are lost, but it’s not just affecting us.

Did you know elephants are expected to become extinct in Africa in 10-15 years? That’s in our lifetime. Droughts are pushing them closer to civilization. They’re destroying crops and walking into the hands of poachers. The last male white rhino died not that long ago. That species is done for. Hippos are on the brink of extinction. Africa is losing their large mammals, and do you know what that causes? An increase in small mammals such as rodents, and guess what these rodents carry. Diseases. Africa is already experiencing outbreaks of deadly diseases being spread by the influx of rodents. But it’s not just Africa!! Did you know there was an outbreak of the bubonic plague in house cats in Wyoming. WYOMING. If species die it causes the entire food web to collapse. It unravels ecosystems. It creates chaos. It could lead to our extinction.

Did you know that marine biologists have discovered that corals are actually abandoning low tide reefs and living individually because it’s the only way for them to survive the rising sea temperatures? This gives hope for corals in the future, but right now this could completely destroy the already fragile reef ecosystem. THOUSANDS of animals depend on coral reefs, and if they disappear, so do the animals, and the animals that feed on them, and so on.

Did you know that bacteria is changing? A once symbiotic relationship between bacteria in antelopes turned deadly. The rise in temperatures actually caused the bacteria to evolve, and what once use to be beneficial to the antelopes now causes death. 200,000 antelopes have died from this. If it can happen to the bacteria in those mammals, what’s to stop it from happening to us?

Did you know we’re on the brink of a mass extinction? It’ll be bigger than the extinction of the dinosaurs, except were causing this one. We are the flaming meteor headed towards earth.

This is just a scratch on the surface of climate change. I don’t call it global warming because it’s so much more than that. Some of you may be thinking “but the earth goes through natural climate changes and this is just one of them!” and you’re right, but humans are speeding it up. The difference in the past and the present is the time. Species had the time to adapt. They had the time to evolve and change so they could withstand the new climate, but it’s happening too quickly now. We’re killing them before they can adapt. Carbon emissions that we create are filling the air. It’s getting trapped in the ozone and heating up the earth quicker than it should. Since the industrial revolution we have been guzzling fossil fuels and using dirty energy. We’ve been pushing out carbon for hundreds of years. Factories billow out smoke. The over eating of beef in America is causing farmers to have more cows, and all those cattle are literally farting out climate change (for lack of a better way to explain it). Billions of cars a day are emitting carbon. You cannot sit there and tell me that we have no impact on climate change, even just a little.

Whether you believe in it or not, it doesn’t matter. It’s happening. It’s happening right before our eyes. It’s happening quicker than Earth can handle. So what can we do to stop it?

Carbon pricing. Putting a tax on carbon emissions and changing the way we tax other things such as income or food. Will this raise the price of gas? Definitely, but it would help create a demand for clean and renewable energy. The government could give subsidies to companies who don’t emit as much carbon or who do use clean energy. Over 40 countries have carbon pricing, Canada being one of them. British Columbia started carbon pricing in 2008 and they have seen a 15% decrease in carbon emissions since then. It’ll be hard at first, but it’s doable.

You as an individual can help as well. Write to your senators and representatives. Limit the amount of energy you use. Turn down the dial on your water heater. Turn off lights when you leave a room. Unplug electronics that aren’t in use. Carpool or invest in a more eco friendly car. Limit your beef consumption. Limit how much water you use. Just little things here and there can create a world of difference.

I would apologize for making this so long, but I won’t because it needed to be said. This is happening in our lifetime. We owe it to ourselves, our children, and future generations.

We are the first generation to really see the harmful impact of climate change, and we are the last to stop it.

Another 11/11/11 Tag Game!!

I was tagged again haha thanks @spilledinkpot for the tag, I really appreciate it! Again, sorry I took so long!

Her questions:

1. Are any (or all) of your ocs inspired by real people or other characters?

Not all of them, and much less so as I get older, but in my early writing every character had a real-life counterpart. Most often, my protagonist's best friend or most trusted person is based off of my parabatai. However, I do pretty much always imagine myself as the main character, or sometimes the villain. Also, imagining yourself as your OC aids the writing process SO MUCH I cannot stress that enough.

2. What is/was your inspiration for your current WIP?

I have a lot of current WIPs, I'm gonna go with my most recent, Flirting with Death. My inspiration was kinda morbid, I was literally sitting in the library at my college waiting on my mother to get me so we could carpool to a funeral. And a few guys were walking past where I sat, eyeing me up and down and I thought to myself, "I swear if one of them tries to hit on me right now I'm gonna make them regret it." And then Thana Carmichael was born. And those guys quickly escaped the death glare I gave them.

3. Do you prefer to plan your characters out, or develop them as the story progresses?

I normally have the base of my character and their personality and how they handle things worked out before I start writing them, but for the most part I develop them as the story progresses. I like to write them in such a way that I learn a little more about them as I go, just like the reader would.

4. How do you deal with writer's block?

I don't lol just kidding! It really depends, if I'm writing and I don't absolutely have to continue or get it done right then, I take a break. Listen to musical soundtracks, play video games, watch a film who's genre corresponds with the type of scene I'm writing. Anything with a story. If I do have to get it done right then though, I just keep writing. I write absolute shit that makes no sense and then take it out later. I once wrote a whole page of "blah" over and over again. I free write until I get my mojo back.

5. What/who first encouraged you to begin writing?

According to my earliest childhood babysitter, I've been writing since I learned the alphabet. I remember once when I was six, I wrote a whole six page book with pictures I drew about why I thought birds were pretty and cool (Update: I am now afraid of birds.) It was titled "BIRDS," yes in all caps, and I cried because my name was so long that I couldn't fit the whole thing on the cover. However, I didn't start really writing until about 6th grade. I was reading a book, and the ending was so sad that I got mad and rewrote it, and I realized how much I loved making stories, how much I loved choosing my own ending. In my life as a child, nothing was certain and I never stayed in one place for too long or made any lasting friendships, but writing was always a constant for me. And through writing I made more friends, and they helped me write and it was just incredible. I can't put into words how much writing has done for me.

6. Are you able to write everyday, or need a couple of days intermediate?

For my WIPs, I definitely need a day or two off before I continue the story but I definitely try to write something every day, even if it's just free-writing or ranting about my day or journaling, I write something every day. It isn't progress on my WIPs, but it helps.

7. How long have you been writing for?

In general, since about age 6 or 7. Seriously, about 6th grade, but I didn't like any of my writing until 8th grade, and at times I don't even now. So in general, 12 or 13 years, but seriously only about 7 or 8 years.

8. What inspired your first WIP?

The Percy Jackson series. I was 10 or 11, and I had just finished that series and I was mad there wasn't more, so I wrote myself into the books as like a spin-off type thing with the minor gods (btw in case anyone cares, I'm a Hades kid). Seven chapters in, my OC still hadn't left her house. It was not my finest work haha

9. Who are the authors that you looked up to, to develop your writing?

Lemony Snicket (yes I know that's a pen name, but I mean A Series of Unfortunate Events specifically), Neal Shusterman with his Unwind series, Marie Lu with literally anything she's written, Cassandra Clare with The Infernal Devices and The Mortal Instruments, J.K. Rowling with Harry Potter (I'm a huge Potterhead, Slytherin btw), Rick Riordan with anything he's ever written, Leigh Bardugo with anything she's ever written but mainly Six of Crows, and Oscar Wilde with The Picture of Dorian Gray. Probably many many more, I'll think of them later.

10. Is there a book that inspired you to write your own story?

Remember I mentioned that I didn't like the ending of a book I was reading so I rewrote it? That book was Bridge to Teribethia. If you read it, you know why I changed the ending. But also, I drew inspiration from books that made me feel like I was actually in the story, like I could see it all for myself. The stories felt real, and I wanted to be able to tell stories like that. To travel the world without leaving my room.

11. Do you include moral points in your writing, or prefer just the entertainment?

There is always something to take away from my writing, some lesson to be had, whether it be an emotion, a theme, a vice, or a virtue. I can't promise it's always moral, but it's always there.

before I forget, 4/29/21:

today is officially may 1st, but on 4/29/21 i had clinicals again. Last day of clinicals for fundamentals N301! almost wrapping up the 1st sem of nursing school here. 📚👩🏻‍💻🩺 it’s a weird feeling.

Anyway, I didn’t really have much sleep the night before clinicals, so I woke up super drowsy 😴 (as always). I left the apartment a little later than I usually do- hit both green and red lights this time, so I was thinking ‘ok, maybe today won’t be as great today. maybe it’ll be half and half.’

Arriving to the parking lot, I walked with shelly down to the facility. today was my med pass day! I was nervous, but I’m happy to say it was a good experience. I’m happy it were only Haley and I left to pass out meds - and we passed out a lot!

Sheila, our wonderful nurse, directed me to take vitals for 1B, and so I did. It’s been a long time since I’ve done vitals on a patient by myself, so I took a super long time getting respirations (ughhh). Afterwards, Kristan gave Haley and I our list of meds to look at. ‘Not too bad...’ I thought, but still nervous. I went first.

I’m so glad Haley was my partner, I wouldn’t have it any other way. She’s so great and smart and knowledgable but also realistic and just so real at the same time. She’s going to be a great future nurse. She helped me do my med check at the bedside while Kristan was passing me my meds 💊. I popped meds from a burst-pack for the first time lol and of course, I had to drop one on the floor. But it’s alright! Discarded that one 🚮. Meds were delivered ✅: right patient, right time, right med, right dose, right route, right documentation, and right reason.

After that, Haley got to pass meds to her patient. I watched her techniques on how she administered them to a drowsy and non-talkative patient (basically just talk at a good volume and guide them through it. offer lots of fluids. give them a choice still).

THEN.... I got to deliver meds into a G-tube patient for the first time (!!!). I was NOT expecting to do that lol. I got to see what it was like to apply a lidocaine patch, see her Fentanyl patch, see her G-tube location and if there’s any abnormalities; give her her nebulizer/breathing treatment.

(Note to self: before administering anything in the G-tube -- 

ALWAYS note input!

Add syringe 💉 FIRST to port BEFORE opening port. Port to tube feeding is OFF

Flush first (mL) -- w/ water, I guess 🚰

For the meds -- crush, mix with whatever medication (if possible), and dilute a little bit w/ water. Mix with syringe.

Add meds to med port.

Flush again with some more water, noting volume

Turn port OFF. Place back to feeding port?)

Man, I even gave her morphine. That’s some next level stuff for me for a first try lol. For the nebulizer, I got to piece it together and try to give it to her. Only thing to note for that is that it stays on for about 5-15 mins; 10 mins average.⏱

What else happened...

I asked Kristan a crap ton of questions, lol. She laughed at my small sticky note 📒with questions on it. My questions were in regards to the IM injection, ethics committee & who to consult, uhh… fall risk patients and padded floor mats (what counts as a fall?), care plan with health care team members only, union, NSO, and… I can’t remember 😫.

Other things I got to do that day were to change a wound dressing and to help irrigate it (notes: add chuck underneath and re-dress with gauze in an ‘X’ formation). Stage 4 is unknown… I think. That was cool. I also got to do a bladder scan on a patient and that was also cool (bladder scan for urine retention OR if they’re not producing enough urine; seeing how much is left over in the bladder post urination and if that is due to retention or not enough fluid output). Our patient for the bladder scan was Greek and she was sooooo funny. What a savage. You can tell she’s lived a good life and was very satisfied with her way of living.

Hm. I think after that we kind of had a post conference and then I asked more of my questions. We spilled all the tea ☕️ on Renea the devil 👺 and found out that Kristan is classmates with her. Learned from Kristan some life lessons about the healthcare system and nursing bullying. It’s gonna happen, but the best response is to do what you can do. Afterwards, I walked around with some of my group mates, and ultimately it just became Shelly & I trying to figure out what to do next. We went to find Sheila and asked her if we could watch her and she said yes! She asked us to set up another nebulizer and then she showed us a couple of things: wound approximation, insulin pen, med room, crash cart. She was very passionate about showing us these things. I’m glad we met her. There was also a patient who seemed kind of sad and lonesome.. I never got her name, but I wish I spent more time with her during our last day to give her some comfort and take away some of that loneliness. 😢

I think… after that, that was pretty much it? It was a very nice learning opportunity that day and stress free. I wish I could have learned more. Shelly and I said goodbye to the two patients we loved (Greek lady and lonely lady), and we finally found Sheila to say goodbye to. She teared up as we thanked her. “Goodluck to you guys. You’re going to do great.” 🤍

When Shelly and I left, I told her how I wanted to tell Derick “goodbye,” but I was not able to find him. So leaving the facility without saying bye to the friend I made felt really… mmm, idk the word? No closure? Incomplete maybe. “Eh it’s okay. He probably doesn’t care anyway LOL,” Shelly laughed. “That’s true,” I said back. And with that, we went to the parking lot.

Madison and Jazel waited for us while everyone else already left for home. It was probably around 13:50? I got a few missed calls from Frank, who texted me ‘Hi’. It’s been a long time since I’ve heard from that person. Anyway, Shelly suggested the idea of eating out for lunch since it was our last day of clinical and so we decided to carpool in my car and go somewhere nearby (we went to Cava). It was fun to get lunch with them. I just remember laughing a lot about stupid stuff from clinical and random stuff in general). We drove to and back listening to blank space and a thousand miles lol. I felt bad for playing the music too loud.

By the time 14:45 ish came, I drove them back to the clinical facility parking lot, where their cars were. As I was driving out, guess who I saw. It was Derick! He was on his way back to his car I guess, shift finished for the day. I drove up and rolled my window down with a thousand miles playing in the background.

“Thank you for all your help this semester. I really appreciated it. It was nice meeting you!”

“You’re welcome. Take care and good-luck.”

“You too!”

And with that, I drove off smiling. Happy I got my goodbye in with that luck. Bittersweet feeling, I guess.

I drove home but with a headache singing out loud to music in the car and then admiring the skies again😭. Once I got home, I showered and took a nap. Around 19:30, Issac arrived and we watched the demon slayer movie again!

It was a good day.

Hello Thank you for entering in my post I've been with Admiral insurance for more than 1 year, which is my 1st car insurance since I've been in England I've been driving for more than 12 years and I've never made a claim before it was a normal and clear day and i was going to work when I had an accident with a girl riding a moped It was a very silly accident, fortunatelly none was injured, and I only had a broken wind-mirrow, which is no more than 50 of damage I had to call Admiral, my insurer, to sort the problem out, I had no other choice Admiral told me I was not covered to go to work since on the policy agreement says: use for social, domestic and pleasure purposes only. And, according to them, to be covered, my policy had to be: use for social and COMMUNITY. So Community for them means, going to work, it is ridiculas but that's what i was told However they said we cover you, you will have to pay 23.74 extra and you will be covered, it was frustrating, a theft, but I let it go... The absurd story didn't even start yet! I gave Admiral all the details which the police had given to me the day of the accident plus some pictures of the scene, which I took before to leave that day Admiral sent an inspector who interwied me at my house. This inspector wrote a statement of 6 PAGES! about my accident, however, I need to say, he did a very good job On the statement states that none was injured and the fault lies with the moped rider, which is also what the police said on the scene. In addtion this inspector suggested to call my insurer again to finally get my car fixed. Admiral told me I will have to pay for the damage myself and, after all their investigation, if they find out it was not my fault, I can ask e refund for the damage, and they added that this investigation can take up to 3 years, so I will have my money back in 3 years! this is because according to them, the moper rider was injured This is absolutely incredible What would you suggest? I would like to get rid of this Admiral policy as soon possible, I would like to claim against it Who could I call to claim against Admiral? Car insurance problems?!?! Need help!!?

Basically my hubby took out insurance about 10 months ago with a new insurance company. He had 4 years no claims with his old company so informed the new company of this. The new insurance company have been taking out the payments every month from our bank however we have never had his insurance documents off them. When he contacted them the other day to query this they informed him that because the old insurance company will not supply them with no claims info they can not cover him. However all this time and even today they have taken their monthly payment. Surely they should not be taking payments for something they are saying they can not cover?? They have sent him a 30 day temp cover note for now while we try to sort it but it isnt looking good at the mo. My question is should they have cancelled the agreement before now then and ceased taking money from our account?

I have been with GEICO auto insurance for roughly 1year and then another approximately 4-5years. I had a break due to joining the military. At this time i receive coverages every 6 months. I have been having a lot of insurance problems after about a year ago I went to a PCP for chest pain. They charged me for a general check up ($100) and referred me to 3 places, a hospital for an ultrasound (hospital bill $3500, doctor bill $750), a place for x-rays ($75), and a thoracic surgeon consult. The surgeons office was the only one to warn me that my insurance would not pay for their consult. My insurance, UnitedHealthcare, has only put in about $2000 towards the ultrasound and I am left with a lot of bills that I had no idea I would have until months after these was all done. I was driving my uncles car and got pulled over because the insurance paper was forgotten and left inside my uncles wallet. The car has insurance. I am not in the policy. I do not live at the same address the car/insurance is registered at. I was just borrowing the car for 1hour. The officer told me its like a fixing ticket you show up in court show the insurance and your ticket will be dismissed. So i went to court took the insurance and the judge told me my name is not in the insurance paper and i need to pay the fine. I read other places that i am okay to drive or borrow others car as long as the car has insurance and and also am not living at the same address the car is registered at or else i will need to be in the policy as well. Hi, I'm 16 and I'm getting my first car. I've saved up a chunk of money to make the down payment and 2 or 3 of the monthly payments (my parents are paying for the rest). This is probably going to be the most personal and longest post I've ever done but I have so much going through my brain. Anyway it's 1:00am and I'm going to ramble. do you ever realize how badly you're going to miss a moment while you're having it? I swear I can't live a moment without trying to remember every detail and getting sad that I won't have another moment like this. I don't really know how to explain it. It's the moment when you tell yourself "this is why I'm alive, this is pure, this is my life high" but then suddenly you have another moment in life when you say the same thing. That's why this "journal" is here to remember the good, bad, ugly, nerves, and the sadness throughout my life adventure. This past week I had a lot of moment where I've said "man my life is great and the sun is shining and I'm breathing" I'm ok. Let's back it up to Saturday night 4/30. My coworker Emily threw a party at her house and told us we could invite anyone we want so I asked Melizsa and she asked Frank. Saturday Melizsa and I both worked at the point, sadly it was her last night but oh well. After work I go to Melizsa's to get ready before I swoop Trine and head to Emily's. I decided to wear ripped high waisted jeans and a silk black top with a high slit up the back to show some skin but not too much. The party was pretty fun, I always enjoy meeting new people when you first get to the party vs when your 5 shots deep on Jack. It goes from hi, im allyson to girl I see you hey I'm allyson. I saw this girl outside and she visited a Black & Mild Jazz cigar and I shouted "omg I think I just fell in love with you." Party's are always weird. As the night progressed I found myself in a stoner circle, battle shots, dabs, and beer pong. Needless to say it was a good night. At 2:00 the party was starting to die down and people were heading out. The girl who had the cigar and her bestie jumped into her car with a bottle in her hand and a solo cup. I tried to tell them not to go but they did. I couldn't force them to stay and I couldn't drive because I was drunk so I gave them my number to text me when they got home safe. They did. Trine and I decided to sleep in my car with only one blanket each, it was a horrible idea. We both ended waking up at 5:00am so we decided to drive back home because Trine had to work. Once I got home I was locked out and I was super tired but I was so nauseous that I couldn't sleep. I ended up laying in bed all day and went to work at four. Once I got to work I saw Lucas and Trine and we made a plan to play volleyball Wednesday and invite other coworkers. Monday I hosted from 9-4 and then I smoked with Tanner. Tuesday I worked 10-3 and then 5-9 and pocketed $157 at work. After work I crashed hard because they were both upstairs banquet party's. Finally Wednesday! It was 90 degrees and hot as hell but it was so much fun and totally worth it. Summer and I met at the courts and 2 and Maddie and Kyler showed up around 2:15 we all talked for a few and then Noah got there. Noah brought his football so we played that for a while and Lucas and Trine show up a little later. We eventually got a game of 3 on 3 going and it was pretty fun but also not because it was hot and people weren't really putting in effort. After about two games these two guys show up and I invite them to play Volleyball with us. Their names were Jake and Derek. Derek was super cute. He has brown hair and green eyes and a chiseled jaw and oh my. We ended up hitting it off and he was super flirty with me. As we were saying our goodbyes we swapped numbers for the sake of meeting up to rally again but ended up bowling later because of it. We had fun bowling also, it was just Summer, Jake, Derek and I. Jake wanted to leave but because Derek and Jake carpooled, Derek also had to leave. Derek decided that he "wasn't done hanging out with me" so he had Jake take him to his car just so he could come back and hangout with me. Once he got back to the bowling alley summer decided to take off so it was just Derek and I. Neither one of us were down to play another game so we went to Walmart because he needed a few things. Once we were there it was kind of awkward but I got over it quickly. It wasn't anything too special, we just got some stuff and talked. As we were leaving he told me he needed to tell me something so we went to my car. We talked for a half hour and then he asked me if I was seeing anyone? I said no and then we talked some more and kissed. The kiss wasn't what I was expecting so I got nervous and now I'm just replaying that kiss over and over in my head. We talked for later that night and made plans to hangout in the AM. He text me at 7:00am ready to hangout so we met up and talked a little more. This time we told our life stories and struggles that we have faced and got to know each other a little more, except this time he didn't kiss me. Why does this happen to me? Why am I playing these past few days on repeat because I think I messed something up already or I'm overwhelmed already scared that I'm going to get my heart broken or maybe I'll break his. I don't know man, life is crazy. Derek is really cute and sweet and I trust him even though I just met him. I don't think this will work unless I'm honest from the beginning. I'm a fucking package, good and bad. I'm loyal and I'll have his back no matter what but I need him to understand that I'm not perfect either. I don't like the term "Fucked up in the head" but I guess if you had to label it, that would be me. Not in a murder-death-kill type of way, but more in the thoughts about myself and my life. My mind tends to wander and think things so emotional and deep I get emotional and extremely overwhelmed. I don't know, it all takes time. Here's to hoping. -ally
