Literal love of my life I’m always thinking about him

Like it’s not even like exaggerating when I say he’s taken over 90 percent of my daydreams

Like I was never really into the whole mafia romance thing before

But I genuinely want this man to be happy

Like I know he’s a character but I want him to be happy and if I have to write a million fics just to make it true for him I will

Like he actually cares even if he doesn’t show or say it and while I usually hate it he’s just so….

He was my first match and when I first finished his story before they updated it twice I actually was VERY upset and checked on it every day to see if it would ever be updated

Idk what happens next because I’m playing through the updates now but

If me and him don’t get a happy ending I’m going to have a breakdown

Honestly he annoyed me at first and I found it fun to mess with him

But he grew on me

Like even before him and me(the character obviously) started getting along he started to slowly work his way up on my list

And now that we’re getting married and he has told me about the monsters or whatever that he had to save me from

He’s super sweet even if he’s still sorta a big meanie

I think it’s cute

Like YES I love the guy who is mean to everyone but me trope

Like yeah he’s not mean but he isn’t really outgoing or nice with other people

Like he jokes and is cute and UGH

And the way he actually stands up to his parents for you is literally swoon worthy

3)Johnny Roe

Honestly I think I skipped him the first couple times he popped up as a match

And then when I saw everyone talking about him I thought it was like

…..everyone was over hyping him

But then I got him as a match again

So I matched with him

And he’s actually so cute

And his storyline is cute

And he’s like one of my favorites (obviously seeing as he’s number three)

I now understand the hype surrounding him because I would actually kill someone for this man

And I want to fight the mother so bad

It makes me upset how he’s always like “she’s still my mom”

Like yeah but she literally ABUSED YOU?????

Like I understand completely and I know it would be hard to just turn off loving her for him

But UGH

I want permission to throw hands

And honestly not to trauma dump my mom is the same way

Like she’s not abusive but she was abused by our family when she was a kid(including my grandmother)

And she’s so fiercely protective of her and like I love my grandmother but UGH I have like a place of resentment in my heart for her because e my mom didn’t deserve any of the bad things that has happened to her

So I know firsthand what it’s like to have a parent somewhat like Johnny(my mom doesn’t have agoraphobia)

I guess that’s why I’m super fond of him? Because he’s familiar in a way to me

I just want him to be happy :(

Like at first I was MEH about him

But then he was a cute nerd who is studying to be a….doctor(????? I forgor sorry)

When I first started his storyline I only wanted to get him to like me bc he hated me

And I know he means it in a cannibalistic way but it’s hot so oh well

Then he actually started caring about me kinda

And showed me the ocean in a way that didn’t terrify me (I’m afraid of the ocean)

Like actually while this is lowkey my worst nightmare

I can breathe underwater and I’m not dying or anything so it’s less scary

But I’m still scared of the ocean

It he has a castle that I live in so it’s FINE

Literally would help me get over my fear if he wouldn’t eat me

Also I wish I could give him smooches

6)Azur Blackshade

Honestly ghost types aren’t my favorite monster types but UGH

He was my number one for a HOT WHILE

like I think he’s so hot

And his art style is attractive

Like he’s a VERY good looking man

I do like making people like me

And the fact that he was so against love in the beginning made it more fun

And then the ex appeared and pissed me off

But we ended up together

The only reason he’s this low is because I stopped playing his route bc my own character was pissing me off

Like she’s such a bitch

Like omg he’s romantic now I hate it

8)Brook

I liked the poly aspect and he was VERY cute

And I’m pretty sure he was a nurse or doctor or the person in an ambulance and I find that super attractive

And for the most part I liked the story

I could see myself having a crush on him irl

9)Felix

To start off Felix and Brook are pretty much equal

Like it’s a poly relationship and I like them pretty much the same

They’re both sweet men and they’re both attractive

Even though I hated that they all abandoned me

I do think it’s attractive that they all took time to better themselves and their relationship

Like it takes a lot to realize when to step back because the situation you’re in isn’t a good one or might lead to you resenting someone

They were cool

And he was a model so obviously he was hot

10)Vile Darko

Actually insane?

I like him a lot simply because he seems psychotic

Like WHO makes someone go through insane things for money or whatever

Like actually a clown and it’s attractive

Even though I’m scared of clowns

He makes it hot AND scary

Like I’m genuinely fearing for my life (in game) but I’m also like yeah if he kills me it’s fine bc he has to touch me to do that :)

11)Enzo Gomez

I was SHOOK when I realized he wasn’t just a dog man

Like he’s an actual human that was cursed

He’s a werewolf but Doberman style

His human form is attractive

And don’t kill me but the dog form is somehow attractive(maybe it’s the teeth? Idk)

And his story is kinda sad

Well sad in that he is cursed

I’m pretty sure he was a horrible person and that’s why he was cursed

And I’m glad he has become a better person because of it

12)Lan Ying

He was up at the top before I finished his story a while ago

And now he’s back but I’m not as crazy about him because I’m crazy about tamura so I haven’t played his update yet

But I do LOVE him

Like actually a dom that isn’t an asshole

And I do like shibari and he’s nice

I hate that he ties other people up though

Like mine and only mine?

Seems like a very level headed guy and that’s very attractive

Probably one of the least toxic in this list ngl

13)Eichi Hirano

I’ve never really been crazy about him

Like even though I’m a hyper sexual person his is ONLY sex and sometimes him having trouble with his hotels or whatever

So I wasn’t really interested in him

In still not all that interested :/

He’s cute though

And obviously the sex is good for my character so I guess

I do think he’s kinda nice though, so I do like him

I think he is the SWEETEST guy in an unfortunate position

Because his sister is manipulating him into being basically a scammer and he doesn’t wanna do it

But she gets pissy with him if he refuses

And while I know he could take himself out of that situation

It’s hard with siblings that you wanna keep in your life or whatever

Especially because they’re twins

My only problem with him is that he doesn’t have much of a spine

Like I would like him to stand up to her

But like he’s sweet and I hope the rest of the storyline is good. I kinda stopped playing it

It’s like only two dates that they have?

I don’t feel like wasting diamonds on them right now lmao

15)Dare

I think he’s hot

But in reality I would hate him

I hate playing truth or dare bc it makes me anxious and I can never think of anything

also he knows exactly how he’s making those people suffer and acts like he doesn’t

It just annoys me

The sex was cool though

And he is kinda interesting

But like the whole four horsemen thing is an ewie to me

I do actually really like Ezra

But I hate the fact that I can’t romance him

I wanna romance the pastor man

I wanna give him smooches but NAUR he’s dedicated his life to the lord

Also he’s cool for a pastor

Obviously they weren’t gonna put a total asshole extreme Christian person in the game

But I do think the way he’s written is very Joseph dream daddy coded but cooler and less shitty

But Ezra is really cool so far

He’s only this low bc I stopped playing bc I was sad I couldn’t marry him and went after people I could romance instead

He wasn’t really there in the storyline

Like dare was the main character I guess out of the four

Drink and dance barely showed up

But I liked him

And I think his super power of making drinks is cool

Because I hate alcohol and how it tasted I think he would be really dangerous for me if he can make a drink that doesn’t taste like ass

And was kinda nice when we finally got to talk to him

But otherwise he wasn’t really there oof

He was more there than drink and dance but he annoyed me

Like Joon I have no idea who this guy is even though I know I did play through some of his storyline

HER STORYLINE IS INSANE?

Like actually I was like OOOH a cute nurse when we first started talking

Then as time went on I was like oof she has no time to herself but she’s so nice and cute

And it was just the right amount of spicy that I was like yeah this is KINDA realistic

LIKE SHE SAVES LIVES WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT FROM HER (other than time)

Then it went into a whole hostage witness protection thing

And I was like HUH

My character in this pissed me off

Bc why when she says HEY don’t say my name call me Hannah instead

My character says Naya 400999 times like MAAM

STOP OUTING HER!!!!!!!!!

Anyways she’s so sweet and deserves love and I want her to be happy and get more breaks from working

Only thing I currently don’t like is how she literally is spending our honeymoon being a nurse

But also irl I would be okay with that bc that means I can be alone for some of the day so oof

2)Eiko Suzuki

I like her more now than I did in the beginning

In the beginning she was kinda annoying

But now I’m like OKAY she deserves the WORLD

Like not because she’s a kitsune but like she is SO PRETTY

And I do like that she’s a family girl

I do think it’s weird that she was like “I don’t want anything serious”

But wanted us to help her with everything

Like I think at this point we’re something more but they haven’t made it official

Which bothers me bc I need to know I’m the only one

And her storyline is also insane

Like WTF your ex boyfriend ruined your life and is BACK to ruin it even more

AND your family can turn into cute ass foxes and you didnt use that to your advantage and KILL HIM?

She seems sweet and cool and her interests are ones that I like

Like I might not be the biggest anime fan

But I would watch several with her as dates

Like we do not have to leave the house lets snack and you can tell me all the attack on titan lore.

4)River Morales

would’ve been number one had I played her recently

But I haven’t played her for WEEKS

so she went down as I lowkey forgot about her

Honestly she was cool and I love that she’s an artist

And the fact that she was REALLY honest about her feelings towards the end

The only downside is that she’s part of the four horsemen

The upside is that I found the dancing plague in France to be funny and as soon as I saw this party was like that I cackled

But also not really funny in theory

Also kinda dislike her bc she thought the people were having fun when she knew they weren’t

I think she would be fun to be around in small doses.

Muppet Movies Ranked

I've recently marathoned all 8 theatrical Muppet movies ,and these are my rankings.Keep in mind I think all 8 are good movies,I just prefer some to others

8.The Muppets

I like the nostalgic look back stuff.....But the peoblem is I dont like Walter or the human characters .This film is the most meh to me

7.Muppets From Space

ITs diffrent,being the only non musical in the series ,and I do like that the film focuses on my favorite Muppet Gonzo and doesnt showcase just the Muppet Show guys but the Muppets Tonght guys as well but the story isnt all there,I dont think Jeffrey Tambours villain has the right ending and it is painfully 90's

6.Great Muppet Caper

Oooooh for putting this so low I might get some hate,but I shall explain .This is the most irreverant ,silly and funniest Mupppet movie,if you just want to laugh this is great .THis film is pure Henson wackyness,the film is not taking itself seriously at all.....And while I enjoy that.....I prefer a Muppet movie to have a bit more heart and story to go with the silly FOr me the characters,story and songs are a bit lacking .Again jokes are brillaint,performances are good (Charles Grodin looks like he is in LOVE with Miss Piggy and it is amazing) and it may have my favorite cameo in any Muppet movie .I do like the movie,I just like 5 others better

5.Muppets Most Wanted

This film is VERY similar to Great Muppet Caper ,and while not funnier,I think its more solid .I adore the songs,especially the Big House ,I think the story is really good ,I love Sam and Ty Burrels chemistry ,the cameos are top notch ,Tina Fey as the Russian warden Nadya delivers one of the best human characters in all the Muppet movies and the film has possibly the best villain in all the Muppet movies in Constantine who is good mix of hilarious and threatening .Not all the effects worked and....I really wish someone else other then Ricky Gervais played the secondary villain Dominic Badguy.Overall though its an enjoyable film

4.Muppets Take Manhatten

The one that surprised me .Of the orignal three its the one people dont talk about but ....I love it,its a bit more of a low key Muppet film ,ITs a much more character focused film. .The Dabney Coleman scene cracks me up,Saying Goodbye is tearjerking and the finale is spectacular

3.Muppet Christmas Carol

A legit really good take on a Christmas Carol,possibly one of the best takes .The first film without Jim Henson ,and I think it showed the Muppets could survive .Less about the jokes and more about the heart and artistry while still having fun and humor . the Muppet performers are on top form,especially Gonzo and Rizzo as the narrators ,but the highlight of the film is honestly the phenomenal performance of Michael Caine as the coldhearted Scrooge ,giving off a legit good dramtic performance while talking to Puppets .Also the songs by Pqaul Williams are just top notch

2.The Muppet Movie

The one that started it all,a heartwarming story about a bunch of weirdos coming together in pursuit of a dream,its sweet,its funny ,Paul Williams songs are great (Especially Im Going to Go Back There Some Day and Rainbow Connection),theres some fun cameos (Mel Brooks steals the show ) and Charles Durning gives an underrated performance as a psychotic fast food mogul

1.Muppet Treasure Island

This....WAs one of the first movies I ever saw,and I have never stopped loving it .The muppet mayhem is funny(DEad Toms Dead always gets me ),its exciting ,the songs are all top notch ,and it has the best human cast with Kevin Bishop as the adventurous young Jim .Jennifer Saunders asa bombastic Inn owner,Billy Connolly as old drunkn pirate Billy Bones and the legend himself Tim Curry hamming it up as the villainous Long John Silver in perhaps his greatest performance ,cause he is equally great with the comedy as he is at delivering tender softer moments with Jim as a sort of surrogate father

i am not joking. i am not memeing. rescue bots is the best thing to ever come out of the transformers franchise. its the only series to break the three season curse and get a fourth season. it has more episodes than any other series, over 100. it didn’t get cancelled because it wasn’t popular, it ended because they ran out of stories they wanted to tell. then they dropped a sequel series with TWO more seasons. they gave nicole duboc a mainline series for this.

- Cyberverse

I LOVE CYBERVERSE SO MUCH... I don't think any series has captured the pure unbridled chaos of the entire franchise so well. It has so many characters and all of them feel RIGHT. I love the art style. I Love this unhinged soundwave. I LOVE the fresh and interesting new ideas if brought to the table. Season 3 was incredible. The season 4 specials destroyed me. TARN??? TARN IS HERE???

- Rise of the Beasts

I think that Bumblebee is an objectively better film, I just had more fun watching ROTB lol

- Beast wars

don't worry about the visuals you get used to them so fucking fast. beast wars is incredible. the storytelling has so much depth. tigatrons big episode about the cost of their war against the planet and defining what protecting the planet even means changed me. theres an entire episode about farting and rampage and depth charge wanna hate fuck SO bad its fucking unreal

- Recordicons

One of the worst most boring shitty tf shows I've sat through with characters I truly care nothing for suddenly lurched sideways as out of fucking nowhere and for no reason at all a random background character suddenly took over the plot and gave the most harrowing performance I've seen in awhile in this horrifically tragic death scene that had my jaw on the floor. And then we just moved on and never spoke of it again ckdhzhcjof. WHAT WAS THAT.... LITERALLY WHAT WAS THAT AND WHY DID THAT HAPPEN....

- Armada (the starscream and Optimus parts)

It is UNREAL how good the starscream and Optimus bits are in this show. When the rest of it is pretty terrible. I would say after starscream dies it's pretty meh but not outright bad, just sort of nothin. The first couple episodes tho are so funny because they're so bad they had no script and were all but ad-libbing the whole thing. They couldn't go two minutes without getting a characters name wrong. Incredible. Anyway this starscream is legendary for being such an interesting and dynamic character with the best design ever. And just like. The coolest character arc.

Okay but also just like do not watch this show in English. The English version is awful and it is More than just a dub!! The Japanese version was finished AFTER the American version despite being animated in Japan!! Because the show! Was not! Done!!! The Japanese version of the show is called micron legend and it's practically a different show. Do yourself a favor and watched micron legend subbed.

Total Drama Next Generation Trailers Thoughts

So, 3 trailers were released for the new season. You probably want my thoughts on them. I will be honest, I don’t have too much to say. And I especially don’t have any predictions for elimination orders yet. Since these trailers came out, everyone’s saying Caleb is the first boot because of a lack of footage of him… No. From the posters, no. This is a red herring. At least I hope so, if you saw from my thoughts post on the posters, you know that I think Caleb is gonna be a bigger character. (A ‘reserve Justin’ in that he is a good guy but is only judged by looks, which he doesn’t want, kind of character. But I could be wrong)

Same goes for Axel, who is also not in these trailers very much.

But my argument is that unless you’re The Masked Singer and you waste money for good costumes to only be in one episode just because, WHY would you put so much detail into a character design that won’t be featured?

This is like if Gwen was the first boot in Island.

Caleb and Axel are barely in the trailers because their roles are spoiler heavy. Simple as that.

If they ARE early boots, I won’t be happy because they have potential we saw from the posters.

ANYWAY, this first trailer is only fifteen seconds and a different language. So here are parts I find interesting.

Harold held the red poster, and he was the last character eliminated before the merge.

So this is a challenge. Which episode it is, I do not know. But we can tell this is a pirate fight with cabbage as cannonballs. We have multiple shots of this such as:

He’s clearly not good at it.

This makes me think he’s gonna be Diet Harold.

Also Ripper has been the slapstick character a lot in these trailers. Idk if these are the only scenes where he’s the slapstick or not.

I did not expect this of his character, as from the posters I thought he was gonna be the dry cynical ‘Meh’ attitude. That could still be the case, and it’s why he’s the slapstick, (because kids find cynical characters boring, we gotta dumb our dark humor down so kids don’t get grossed out.)

Seriously, Total Drama is Shrek in TV format.

There’s also voice acting here. I LOVE Quinn’s voice. (I know her name is Scary Girl. I’m calling her Quinn.)

Whether or not this is the same episode, I do not know. Either this is a treasure hunting part, or it’s a different episode.

Everyone also looks so non-chalant of Quinn’s antics here. I thought they’d put ‘Scary Girl’ into a big deal, but no. They treat her normally.

Actually, I’m on board with that. Maybe that’s all Quinn wants, to be treated normally when she’s being herself. There could be more character depth with her than we thought. Also, Axel is not with her team here!

We also get to hear Julia and Nichelle’s voice acting. They both sound neat. Julia’s voice is a little hollow for me, but Nichelle’s is perfect. This is exactly how I imagine she’d sound like.

They both also point out that Julia and Nichelle are already famous. In that case, why are they competing if they already have fame? What do they gain from it?

There’s also a lot you can interpret from Nichelle’s “I’m famous. I have no idea who she is.”

Either she is actually famous and Julia is an arrogant wannabe. Or Julia looks up to Nichelle.

Or they’re both full of it. Either way, I’m sensing a bit of Heather from these two. But then again, for some reason, post WT Total Drama HATES Heather even though she’s the best and most important character in the franchise. So I think if Julia or Nichelle ARE villains, they’re getting redemption arcs. But if they ARE the new Heather, I will like that. TD has really gone off the rails with their villains since Heather and we NEED something more human.

Yes you could argue Scott, but that’s All Stars. And you could argue the Ice Dancers, but I was never intimidated by them nor did they make my blood boil. They’re just kinda petty cheaters and sometimes stupid.

But getting back on topic, I do like the idea of some characters being after fame specifically You know, THE SPOTLIGHT, THE GLORY, that most teenagers strive for.

A very HUMAN motive that has NOT been relevant to ANY character since Alejandro’s motive in WT.

I MISSED THAT.

Yes I know fame isn’t gonna be a motive for every character, but it’s been the driving force of most of the OG cast members playing the game that it’s hard to imagine anyone doing these games without that motive. This was a pretty big deal in Island and Action, so it was jarring to suddenly lose that motive.

Leshawna, you have competition.

Okay, NOW I see the hype around Quinn.

I have… no idea what’s happening here. So Priya is… trying to be friends with Chase, and is saying it aggressively for some reason?

I’ve heard rumors about her backstory, so maybe Priya is well meaning, she just doesn’t know how to talk to people.

Either this is a fight. Or this is about Caleb like we saw in the posters. Or, what I’m getting at…

Priya and Chase are gonna be a romantic pairing.

Chase and Priya are both so blandly designed that it’s hard for me to see them not being early boots, BUT IF THEY ARE STAYING, I think these two are gonna be the Gwen and Trent of this generation.

And hopefully Chase is more interesting than Trent. (Not sorry)

Everyone’s saying she’s gonna win. Even I said that was possible. But she’s BARELY been in these trailers.

But this could be a Caleb/Axel situation where she’s just having spoiler heavy moments. In fact, HALF of these characters are barely in the trailers. I don’t know why people are saying these are spoiler heavy.

Speaking of: I know what you’re thinking. “Oh come the f on, they spoiled the elimination ceremony?”

Well… we DON’T know this yet.

I don’t think this is actually an elimination ceremony. I think this is that zombie challenge, and it’s a team meeting. Kind of like in the slasher episode in TDI.

And they’re staring at MK cause she knows something.

Caleb isn’t there because he’s probably captured.

That might also be what Axel is doing in the shed in that one clip.

It might be like the TDI slasher challenge where campers get picked off one by one.

I think Axel is gonna be the Gwen of her team, where she’s more focused on herself. But she wins challenges for her team so she flies under the radar of elimination. But if she’s also the Duncan of the team in this challenge, she’s gonna be awesome.

EVERYONE I know, and everyone I’ve seen online, HATES this voice.

…I don’t get the hate.

I think the voice is fine, if a little off sounding, but as long as this new VA captures Chris’s ego, I don’t care.

I think nostalgia is blinding people here.

Until I hear the VA in a full episode, I am not jumping on the hate train.

Why Chris’s original VA didn’t come back, I do not know. But there are a lot of reasons for why VAs don’t show up again. TD has kinda been bankrupt in the water for quite a few years now. Sure we had Ridonculous Race, which was decent, but nobody watched that or talked about that.

These are… rough trailers. But I feel legally required to watch this season regardless. So I’ll give more takes when it comes.

ok. Okok. i think i’ve got my jumbled up thoughts altogether so! here they are under the cut (and it won’t be spoiler free so heads up!)

N’s route: man… i think when i played i was on a “i havent seen these characters in years” goggles high, ie graduation goggles if you will, but now that im thinking on it, it wasn’t super erm. cohesive. like when you can choose to say ily early on but then if you dont and N says it later, theres no option to reciprocate? odd. also there is no conflict resolution for the argument, it’s just kinda brushed aside.

what i did like was that if you play with an equally romantic partner as n, they do have a bunch of nice little moments. i’ve seen ppl say they come off clingy but like. i didnt see it that way. to me it comes across as more just that they’re SO passionate and so focused about protecting everyone (as shown in the backstory) but i can see why it’s off putting to others

F route: very cute little moments w the detective, absolute dream of a partner if you ask me. them talking about their mom? ruined me a bit why lie. also the “you’re the most delicious thing i’ve tasted” oof. my pulse was weak lads

i didnt like that there wasnt an ily choice for them?? doesnt make sense to me??? out of all the routes i feel like their would have been the most natural place to have an ily, but i digress. anyway. F love and supremacy always

A route: mixed feelings for sure.. i did feel like some of it was a bit ooc or like, i was just getting mixed signals. they’d say one thing and then contradict it a paragraph later and i was like. huh. ok.

overall tho… i will be so real with you guys it was kind of delicious. dare i say it was maybe my favorite. ik some ppl thought it moved too fast and i can see that! but for me it’s really not /that/ fast. think about if you read a book series that’s 2 or 3 books and it’s a slowburn. usually the couple will admit their feelings by the end of the second book or smth. and it’s not like A actually expressed their feelings and then jumped into a relationship yk?? personally i found the “one kiss and i cant have you anymore, this is done, i can’t let myself feel this” absolutely scrumptious. the slowburn is still in action even tho they kissed to me! but ig why some ppl didnt love it. bonus; them crying outside the detectives door didn’t feel ooc to me either. they bottked up feelings for 900 years and then watched the person they love almost die like. three times. and then consequently shoved them away again so there’s no way they’d be able to keep all of THAT inside. walls r bound to break eventually. anyway i did think this route was inconsistent at times but generally. i had a blast w all that pain and suffering

M’s route: i still dont really know how i feel about this one tbh. i did like a lot of it: the bakery scene, the lil not date, the scene in the shower especially. to me that felt very natural, just like. intimate and personal without being too fast or whatever. big fan. might think about that for the rest of my life. also if you’re on verda’s route with m the dinner party scene was equal parts awkward and funny so that was fun. AND as meh and underwhelming as the auction was, them saying they were willing to give more for the detective than they ever thought… mwah. there were moments where M felt ooc but i think i liked half of it. probably 😭

overall like i said before.. plot wise it isnt very cohesive and it’s not very exciting, it felt more romance focused than plot focused which ig makes sense but? idk. i like the thrill

i was so lost tbh bc i’m not mad about joshua basset but the writing is what threw me . was t nick supposed to be going to college at the end of secret of the tomb ?? how is he back in high school in this movie ??? the summary says it takes place years after secret of the tomb so i’m a little lost about how old nick is supposed to be at this point

i love that they’re pushing her i to the foreground of this film i really wish she got more time in the first three movies and we learn so much more about where she comes from and shes such a bad ass in this film and the friendship with joan is great showing kids powerful women being friends with powerful women but . her vibe just felt so different. just different . a lot more casual a lot more modern american .

am i the only one that felt teddy was … dumbed down . like they tried to make him a himbo almost . he just wasn’t as likeable in this movie and it’s nothing to do with the actor it’s the writing just feels meh .

i love joan of arc so i was excited to see her in this film but … they just kind of out her in with no context . i wouldn’t loved if they gave us some more background on her like when she was added as an exhibit or something just . it just launched us into her character and i wanted to know much more about her

it felt like they just kind of mashed all three films together if i’m honest . it just felt like a different version of battle of the smithsonian . the battle at the end in particular was VERY reminiscent of the fight between kahmunrah and larry . and the miniatures adventure feels like secret of the tomb again .

also in terms of continuity whats larry’s story wasnt be a teacher at the end of secret if the tomb ?? now he’s working in japan ?? also the tablet was supposed to train in london if the tablets there where’s ahk??? they were both in loan from the british museum as part of a touring exhibit at the end of secret if the tomb ??? also how does kahmunrah just pick and choose when things come to life in the first three films it was just evrything within a certain radius ???

also texas wasn’t part of teddy’s display but did appear randomly, and sacagawea had a horse but lewis and clarke were gone . and mcphee knows the secret of the tablet at the end of the trilogy so why did they revert and make it known that text cannot move in front of mcphee .

and girl this tablet can do anything . “ye olde ipad” <- my boyfriend

even the jokes in this one didn’t land as well . i’m fully aware the plot doesn’t exactly like up between the first three movies but this one just felt unoriginal and unnecessary as an instalment into what was a great movie trilogy .

the end of secret if the tomb was emotional and heartfelt even if larry made out with a fucking monkey, changing that just doesn’t feel right . i just didn’t feel like i was watching night at the museum .

It’s kind of a long post oop-

For their dynamic, I see Megs as the most submissive and needy. Wanting attention and some to love and praise him.

Shock/wave is pretty neutral, all he wants is someone to love, praise and make him feel seen and understood.

Sound/wave is more dominant and judt wants his partners to know how much they’re loved^^. He was already pretty close to them when he decided to become their feeder.

The three of them put down some ground rules (safe word, health, aftercare, etc). Megs was already interested in gaining weight and Shock/wave was kinda “meh” about it. So since it wasn’t a clear answer, he decided to join and basically observe one of the first feeding sessions with Megs and Sound.

After some time, He decided to join as a feedee. Both waves were just impressed by how much Megs could eat. Shocky knows he won’t be able to get as big/eat as much as Megs but he’s fine with it.

Sound/wave takes break from feeding them and basically tries to still keep them in shape. He doesn’t want them to turn into immobile blobs. So he just trains with them.

Despite things going well for them, Megs sometimes gets insecure about his body and jealous.

He pays attention to gossips about his growing waistline or gossips about his relationship and he can be found chocking back tears while stuffing ice cream down his mouth. He’s a mess.

When he gets like that, It’s just a cuddle time to make him feel better. Wrapped around in blankets and pillows while he’s getting kisses and hugs all the while getting praised^^

12. Are there any tropes you used to dislike that uave grown on you?

I think time loop Aus. For a while I didnt like reading angst in general v much and I got annoyed quickly by how long it took for the comfort part of hurt/comfort to kick in. But then I read this one that wasn't even hurt/comfort it was just oure angst all the time and I was like "damn... Gotta get me some more of this" and now im a big fan of the angst potential

13. Are there any tropes you used to like but don't anymore?

If I'm being honest, not really. Im very picky and only interact with things I like a LOT so if im kind of meh on something, I usually don't engage with it if it's a focus so I don't become more meh on it

34. What aspects of your writing are drawn from your real life?

If a character stims in a way that isn't explicitly stated in canon, its more than likely it's one of my own stims. Very rarely, I give characters stims that differ from my own, i can think of like. One example from a fic I've published and another one from a class I took for short story writing last year

45. What's something you've improved on since you started writing fic?

Im gonna do two. Firstly, i think I'v egoten better at inserting action between dialogue without it being too clunky anymore, even though I still worry about that a lot. Secondly, devsloping story beats BEFORE I write. I used to struggle so much more with writing because I wouldnt plan most of it out, but I go into a LOT of detail now in my drafts and I'm even willing to go out of my way to write scenes from different parts of a story and connect them later on

50. Answer any question. I'll answer the one that asks what my favorite prompt I've written for was. My favorite was for a Convin DBH secret santa I did one year. The prompt I chose (out of two or three others I cant remmeber rn) was time travel which was so fun :¬> i love thinking out of the box with prompts/tropes because it means I have more fun coming up with goofy ideas and making them serious. Time travel fix-it fic where both halves of the ship are sent/send themselves back in time to fix the past, accidentally get in each others'ways, then reveal their situations to each other only to do a surprise pikachu face? Ugh I love that story so much!

hi anon, thank you for the ask! oh boy where do i start-

first of all, you should know i LOVE musou games. i love smashing those buttons and defeating hundreds of eniemies. so, when they announced three hopes, i was THRILLED.

but maybe my expectations were a bit too high.

(spoilers about all the routes and endings)

i think the story is fine, but it could have been much better. i like shez, no, i love shez as a character: theyre silly but strong, determinated and yet loving. i like that theyre dubbed, i like their quirky and yet silly comments, i like how they flirt with some characters and yet are completely clueless, and the female VA did a WONDERFUL job. also, i simply ADORE arval. theyre so sassy i always laugh when arval says anything. the dynamic between shez and arval is written better than the one between byleth and sothis imo. (i love sothis too, but i feel her relationship with byleth needed more screentime)

but shez has a problem. (well, actually two.) the first problem is that shez isnt byleth. shez works well with the majority of the cast, but not with the three lords (a bit better with edelgard but still meh). shez's presence in the war doesnt make much sense as byleth's one did in three houses: the fucking school closed like two WEEKS after the lords met shez, they didnt have the time to bond and to know each others as byleth did (cuz, yk, byleth was their fucking teacher for a year). so, even if i like shez A LOT, their presence in fódlan war seems a bit off to me. i wish shez was in a different game overall.

the second, big problem of shez, is that we get to know almost nothing about their past. but this is a writing problem, not of the character themselves. i wanted to know who their mother was, why they are arval's vessel. RIP dlc i guess

about the three routes:

azure gleam: oh boy. OH BOY. the most disappointing of all. i LOVED the first part, for it explores much better all the kingdom's issues and we get more informations about the tragedy of duscur. but, "and then?". i'm gonna be honest dear anon: i dont remember much about the second part of azure gleam, just this big sense of disappointment. i'm actually re-playing it right now, so maybe i'll be back here in a few weeks. anyway, i do remember liking the fact you can save jeritza here tho, mercie deserves her little brother back!

scarlet blaze: the exact opposite of my thoughts about AG: scarlet blaze is a GREAT black eagles route. dont get me wrong, i liked crimson flower (its actually my second fav route of three houses), but being it the shortest one i always felt it was missing something, aka the fight against TWSITD (since, yk, we dont fight them in CF, they just defeat them offscreen in the ending cards. wtf). and in scarlet blaze we got it!!! also edelgard is better written in SB: shes still resolute and yet willing to *not* kill almost everyone on fódlan (i have Opinions about the ending of CF but another time). i never liked how edelgard sides with TWSITD in three houses, and im glad she didnt in SB. i mean, lets kill those bastards gurl!!!!!

golden wildfire: LMAO. ok i must admit i have a big problem: i dont like the golden deers (as a house; i like some of them alone, like marianne and lysithea), and claude is my least favourite lord, and i think verdant wind is the worst route of all three houses. so, GW was the last one i played. aaaaand. it is better than VW! i liked how claude allied with edelgard to defeat the church! i liked how claude is a little bastard plotter in there! as for AG, i think the first part of the route is much better than the second part (if you dont recruit byleth, judith dies in a dumb way just like rodrigue..... claude-routes-dont-copy-other-route's-things challenge). overall, i think GW is much better than VW, bc i think VW i just a weak copy of silver snow (sorry claude)

about the supports overall: some are cute and i like how we get supports between characters that didnt have ones in three houses, like bernadetta and marianne, or bernadetta and dimitri, or ashe and flayn.

and at last we've come to the elephant in the room.... byleth. how did they treat byleth in my opinion? short answer: terrible. long answer: terrible, because byleth doesnt have supports (except for shez and jeralt ikik). like WTF!!!!! give me supports with the lords, at least! let me see the byleth in this timeline, where they arent a professor, where their father isnt dead!!!! and why did they make byleth the ENEMY?? and we can recruit them too late in the game! GIVE ME MY PROFESSOR BACK-

the (one sided) rivalry between shez and byleth doesnt make any sense. "ohh the ashen demon killed my merc company >:[" says shez, just to admit five minutes later that they didnt really care about that company. and yes, okay, shez wants to prove everyone (themselves included) theyre stronger than byleth. thats fine. but here too, shez lets the matter drops too fast. "i will be stronger i will kill youuuuu- oh wait the lord wants you to join our side of the war. guess we're bestie now!". most of the time (before we actually recruit byleth) i get the feeling shez doesnt really give a fuck about the ashen demon, and this could have been okay, IF THEIR RIVALRY WASNT THE POINT OF ALL THE TRAILERS???????? their relationship is not explored well. shez's initial resentment doesnt make any sense bc THEY THEMSELVES say they really didnt care about the company. SO, if even the new protagonist, who was supposed to hate byleth, doesnt actually hate byleth, why make byleth the antagonist in the first place? why do we have to fight byleth? just to have a different fódlan story?¿?¿?

and i'll shut up about how they treated my dimileth in the game. you dont want to open this pandora's box dear anon.

so, the summary is: the gameplay is great bc i love musou games. the additions to the lore are pretty cool. i like that claude has his own original route that makes sense, and that edelgard got a much better written route. byleth deserved better. SHEZ! is fantastic, and arval is one of my fav character of all fódlan games. also i think arval and sothis should kiss

last kiss - the two seconds of waiting for this to play were like every first day of school all over again. but like enchanted its stellar, she got into it from the beginning and i always forget what an amazing song this is until i listen to it again. i wrote this song out in full at least five times in the journal i had at the time. i really love this version just as much.

the saga of saphs terrible, horrible internet

so my friends and fellow romans, as some of you may know, i am currently at home while i wait to go galavant off to the other side of the globe for my study abroad. being at home presents a great many challenges that i will not get into at this time, but the top one is the internet connection.

now i am the proud owner of a 2017 macbook and an iphone se. the macbook was bought refurbished 3.5 years ago and the phone was bought new last august when my iphone 6s finally crapped out 2 weeks into junior year of college. i take....decent care of my electronics. and, this is an important detail here, the phone has an unlimited data plan.

i have never had a problem with this phone. it works great, occasionally it buffers in certain spots on campus that are kind of dead zones due to the buildings being massive blocks of concrete, but it always works, even despite the shitty school wifi i have because i can turn the wifi off and use data. the computer hates the wifi a little more, but i can still usually get it to work with minimal issues.

until now *cue dramatic music*

i have to be at home (my parents house) for a grand total of 18 days. which is not very long. and while at home i had some stuff to do, all of which required me to have an internet connection (fighting the financial aid office, talking to brad, researching grad school, purchasing textbooks, buying the last couple things i need for my trip, etc). i have also had to be in quarantine (long story) so essentially i have been confined to my room.

the internet has always been a little bit meh in my room, with certain spots not working the best (due to the fact that i am furthest from the router) but this is the same room that i took zoom classes from for 2.5 semesters, plus a summer class and a j term class with 0 issues, so i was confident i could make it work.

well. i was wrong.

the first two days went fairly normally. but then, a steady and rapid decrease in internet quality began.

and yes, i am aware that me complaining about internet quality is a very first world problem, but i am stuck in a house with my parents and it is miserable and i just want to facetime brad.

on day three i became unable to send a text message unless i was connected to wifi.

on day 4 i could only connect to wifi if i was standing in one specific spot in my bedroom and even then it didnt always work and would usually drop off by the time i walked back across the room

on day 5 facetime stopped working

on day 6 even standing directly next to the router didnt do anything and plugging into our sole ethernet cable only provided me with mediocre internet

on day 7 i had a mental breakdown and watched youtube all day at 144p complete with buffering that added a good 10-20 minutes to any video.

on day 8 i told my dad that in my deeply unprofessional opinion something is deeply wrong with our router and he said well its just cause your room is far away from it

on day 9 (today) i walked downstairs to get my up of tea in my big christmas tree mug and my dad said "our internet is being very slow, i am going to have to look into it"

Heard you wanted to talk about turtles?

hi skitty i love you thank you for giving me an excuse to right a whole ass essay under the cut :D

im normal about them

tldr: rise is, imo, the best turtle media to date because of the way it breaks the traditional tmnt mould. it differentiates the turtles themselves more, fleshes out their relationships with eachother and bg characters, introduces New bg characters who are genuinely compelling and makes splinter more than just the sensei who dies tragically to further the plot. also it has the Best april hands down and some seriously insane animation

ok so first of all, because i am an animation nerd, im gonna talk about the animation. after the 2012 3D series (which was pretty good for the time but. aged kinda meh) and the live action bayverse movies (which did have some great cgi admittedly) a 2D, traditional animation style is a breath of fresh fucking air. and Rise pulls out all the fucking stops babey!! it's got some very clear anime inspirations with how the fight scenes are done and exaggerated but even in moments of calm, the amount of character put into the facial expressions and poses is phenomenal. it really leans into exaggeration for comedy which, again, is something they didnt and couldnt do with the 3D and cgi.

they also, finally, differentiate the turtles species instead of making them generic 'green turtle' and it adds so so much!!! raph is a snapper, leo is a red earred slider, donnie is a softshell and mikey is a box turtle! even on it's own, this adds so much more character to them and makes the whole thing a lot more visually appealing whilst still keeping with the original theme. look at how nice this character design is!

what's more, they actually have a brotherly relationship with eachother that feels natural. they annoy eachother and argue and prank eachother but at the end of the day they still are very much family (which is a big part of rise's whole theme!) and they still love eachother, which is obvious in how many scenes we get of them all bonding and getting along. and april! is actually included in this!! she is their fucking sister and acts like it for once instead of being a flat love interest or plot device. shes great :] from what i remember about 2012 and the bayverse movies, the brothers were a lot more at odds with eachother than they are in rise.

the boys' personalities are also, imo, more fleshed out (take with a grain of salt, i dont remember much from the 2012 verse) raph isn't just kind of angry at everything, he's The Big Brother who has to protect his baby brothers even at the cost of himself. leo isn't just the (kind of assholish) leader (he's not the leader at all!!) but the lovable asshole who hides behind jokes to mask his insecurities. donnie is still a tech head but it's to make up for what he lacks (what with him being a softshell and his insecurities surrounding this) so he can keep up with his brothers! mikey is still the 'silly' brother but has much more to his character than just that, being the babiest brother who is, in some ways, far more mature than the other three.

AND THEY MADE SPLINTER MORE THAN THE DEAD SENSEI!! he's still not a Great Dad obviously but he tries and he does actually love his boys a lot, which is really really shown in his backstory episodes. it makes me soft about them :]

plus it's got a lot of really fun new and returning characters! casey is a weird teenage girl (objectively great fucking choice there) the foot clan consists of two middle managers who suck at their job, alongside the mutants is a whole yokai subplot (which is nice to see some more diversity in the series given things like splinters japanese origins) AND THEY MADE SHREDDER A FUCKING SCARY ASS BEAST!!! (i have not seen the movie yet but im very excited to see how they handle the krang also, because rise does not pull any punches when it comes to villains)

we also got a main villain voiced by john cena, and he had a musical number. it fucking ruled.

This is a tad long for a preview, but meh. This scene’s just fun.

From one of two other AUs I’ve been working on for the last few months, between posting A Train Car Fit for Two: BioShock 1 + 2 crossover (is it a crossover if they’re in the same series? idk they’re taking place at the same time that’s the gist). Tbh this’ll probably be my next big project after Wherever Life Takes You is done. Or maybe I’ll do both of the new AUs simultaneously. Idk I love ‘em equally. We’ll see.

There’s silence between the four of them then, Sinclair’s gun still held to Jack’s head, Atlas’s gun pointed at Sinclair’s face, and Delta’s drill poised and ready to blend Atlas alive should he make the wrong move, all while Jack is still sitting in a heap on the floor, leg oozing blood (which he decides he won’t hold against Sinclair; he’d only been protecting Delta).

Jack looks back and forth between the other three, then trains his gaze on the canisters on Delta’s back: the container for EVE, he sees, is low, and he recalls how he and Atlas had overheard Sinclair bemoaning the lack of supplies in the area, back in the lounge. This sparks an idea in his head; his hand slowly starts going to his pocket.

“Hey, now,” Sinclair snaps, and Jack looks up at him worriedly. “I see that hand movin’. Don’t do anythin’ stupid with it - you’re in enough trouble as it is, son.”

“Think you should be a little more concerned about my hand,” Atlas calls as he thumbs back the hammer, “‘less you’ve forgotten you’re not the only one with an itchy trigger finger.”

Sinclair looks at him, then huffs out a chuckle. “An’ you should be remindin’ yourself of the company I keep. No offense, son, but if we’re comparin’ ourselves on how intimidatin’ we all are, I think we can all agree the big guy wins out every time.”

As if on cue, Delta lets out a low, rumbling growl, so intense that Jack swears he can see Delta’s shoulders vibrating, and Atlas looks at him, his nose scrunching slightly in anxious frustration.

“That’s it, kid,” Sinclair calls, chuckling lightly, “show ‘em what you’re made of.”

Jack takes the opportunity, while Sinclair’s distracted, to continue reaching for his pocket. Very carefully, he pulls free the EVE hypo he’s got stuffed inside, and he’s just managed to bring his hand up to his chest when he hears another hammer being pulled back, and looks up to find Sinclair frowning warningly down at him.

“Don’t got much of a survival instinct, do ya?” Sinclair asks. “Are you requestin’ that I shoot you again? Cause it’s startin’ to seem that way to me, correct me if I’m wrong.”

Jack shakes his head rapidly, then slowly, carefully, keeping a close eye on Sinclair, holds the hypo out toward Delta.

Sinclair’s face betrays his confusion. He stares hard at Jack for a few moments, then tilts his head toward Delta, and all he needs to do is call, “Kid,” to make Delta turn to him, drill still pointed at Atlas’s side.

Delta sees Sinclair’s stare and goes to look at Jack, and some of the tension leaves his shoulders, surprise evident in his body language, when he sees Jack staring at him and holding the EVE supply out to him. Delta is stock-still, staring in silence, enough so that Jack nods once and gives the hypo a little shake to indicate that Delta can take it.

Delta doesn’t move for a few seconds, then his drill slowly lowers, and he begins a slow walk over to Jack. When he gets to him, he stares at him again, figuring him out, and Jack stares right back, anxiety in his eyes but his hand not at all shaking or wavering.

Everybody’s back to being silent, Sinclair and Atlas watching their respective companions, and then Delta slowly reaches down and takes the EVE hypo from Jack’s hand. He brings it up to his porthole to assess it, then looks down at Jack, and the two stare at each other some more before Delta rumbles softly and places the hypo down on the floor by his boot.

Delta relinquishes his drill, freeing his hands, then reaches for Jack.

“Oi,” Atlas calls heatedly, gun trained at the spot between Delta’s shoulders, and Sinclair responds by whipping his arm around so he can point his gun at Atlas instead, arching an eyebrow to dare Atlas to try it.

“Now, don’t go catchin’ any stupidity yourself,” Sinclair says. “I only got so many bullets, and I’d rather not waste ‘em.”

“Aye,” Atlas replies, “well, the feeling’s mutual, so maybe you should warn your pet Frankenstein over there to watch himself.”

“You watch your language,” Sinclair says, actual anger flashing in his expression, then he looks over at Delta, who has frozen in place to avoid upsetting anybody and getting himself shot. “Go on, kid.”

After a moment, Delta realises Atlas isn’t attacking and continues to reach for Jack. He slots his hands under Jack’s armpits and lifts him from the floor with no effort at all, then carries him the short distance to the nearby abandoned furniture, where he gently sets Jack down on a chair, so he isn’t just left on the floor any longer.

Jack winces and hisses at the pain in his leg, tilting it to assess the hole Sinclair’s bullet has left in his calf, then he looks up at Delta. Hesitating only slightly, Jack smiles at him and nods once in thanks.

Delta stares back, then walks over to Sinclair and motions that he wants something from Sinclair’s bag.

“What is it, kid?” Sinclair asks, nonetheless tilting himself slightly to give Delta better access to his back, despite his doubts.

Delta pulls opens the bag, slotting his fingers into the gap Sinclair leaves for him, and reaches inside to slide free the first aid kit Sinclair had collected earlier. He leaves Sinclair to close the bag and instead wanders back over to Jack, carrying the kit in both hands tentatively, like it’s a cup of tea he’s afraid of spilling. When he reaches Jack, he holds it out.

Jack looks back and forth between the kit and Delta’s porthole, all while Delta patiently waits, then he nods once as another thank you, smile widening as he takes the kit from Delta’s hands.

Delta straightens up and goes to collect his gifted EVE hypo from the floor, then returns to stand in front of Jack.

With their exchanged supplies in hand, the two have themselves another little staring contest...and then Jack lets out an “Oof!” as Delta’s hand suddenly comes down upon his head in one pat, engulfing his entire scalp and making his chin hit his chest.

Delta looks to Sinclair and rumbles once, using the hypo to motion toward Jack.

Sinclair arches a brow, glances toward Atlas, then looks back at Delta as he says, “Now...I’m understandin’ what you’re sayin’, chief - loud an’ clear - but...now, are you sure this is the time to be playin’ the bigger man? Remember: that kid did jus’ try to make you his slave.”

Delta’s shoulders fall slightly, then he shrugs them and gives Jack two more pats on the head, which makes Jack wince; as gentle as Delta is being now, his glove is still heavy.

Sinclair stares for a few moments more, thinking, and then his gun begins to lower.

“Alright, then,” he says, relenting. “I’m still not too sure of his motivations myself, but,” he waves his hands in surrender, “if you’re certain about givin’ him a pass, then I’m not gonna argue with you. I trust your word.” He holsters his gun, then looks over at Atlas. “Now, would you mind puttin’ that gun away? The standoff is over.”

Atlas frowns back, then motions toward Delta. “He’s givin’ me a pass too, is he?”

The question is said with a degree of sarcasm; it’s both hilarious and unnerving that Sinclair is taking that...thing’s opinion on anything, because it’s not supposed to have an opinion. But then it also isn’t supposed to be handing out supplies to people and communicating, so Atlas supposes this is just...normal. For them. Somehow.

(Honestly, he still doesn’t know how Sinclair acquired Delta, much less, what, tamed him? Trained him? Whatever he did to make Delta so...person-like.)

Seeking judgement, Sinclair looks to Delta, who grunts with a shrug, and then looks at Atlas. “I reckon he is. That enough to convince you?”

Atlas looks at Delta, lip curling in uncomfortable disgust, then he catches Jack staring at him, and he directs his gaze at Jack’s face instead. Only when he sees Jack nod does he fully realise he’s been outvoted, and he sucks in a breath and lowers his gun.

“There, now,” Sinclair says with a hint of sarcasm. “A little more like gentlemen and a lot less like cowboys back in the ol’ West.”

[ ] wanted to do some characters that matched us y'know?” She said as she nudged her quiet friend , the girl jumped and laughed , scratching her neck as she gave the excited sisters a small smile “If i was coming out tonight I was gonna wear what i wanted to really wear” [ ] said as the group of them laughed and mingled with their other friends and classmates. While heading to get juice , she heard loud screaming , as the sport boys were starting to show up. First was the football team, then the basketball. Baseball and wrestling came next, then the smaller clubs finished them out. Sighing [ ] was content away from everyone as she watched mayhem ensure, chugging of barrels , more music, girls swarming around the players they crushed on as they did minor things, like talk to their teammates or eating from one of the big food trays laying around. Over here!” Constantly yelling to someone [ ] started to ask again when a booming voice came from above her “HEY RUMI” a very loud voice called as stomping could be heard before it stopped “I see you took our idea huh?” With that comment [ ] turned around only to be face to face with a dark cover chest, only to then look up to some of the most warm and amber colored eyes looking down at her “Hello there little lady, I like your costume! Erm..Midna aint it?” The giant ganon dressed man questioned as all she could do was shake her head in agreement, causing the giant male to laugh “Awe don't be shy of me kitten i ain't gonna bite!” He chuckled some more as her friend jumped in “I told you she was shy!
