max tries courting daniel for the first time

or, how daniel got his lion, lian (from i gave you all my best me's).

it comes inconspicuously in a plastic bag to max's hotel room. the porter drops it off with a knock on his door and max rushes to open it, knowing exactly what it is.

after a night of partying and celebrating his and daniel's first ever podium, he went back, drunker than he's ever been and scrolled instagram. the ad was one of the first things max sees when he opens the app but it's perfect. the orange lion plush. he orders it immediately, not caring if it's a scam or not.

he pays extra for next day delivery, knowing that they're not scheduled to leave until tuesday morning, anyway.

max carefully opens the package, it's a little weighty and max knows that it probably has beans in them - his sister always said those were better quality.

inspecting the lion's mane, his fingers brushing out the little knots it got in transit. the fur is soft beneath his touch and he wants to scent it. wants to rub the big lion across his scent gland but it would be weird. what if daniel doesn't want to smell him?

with a sigh, he sets the lion on his stomach and messages daniel. he's got no idea if the australian is awake yet but it doesn't matter, max will keep his buddy company until he is to be gifted to his potential mate.

three dots pop up instantly and max smiles, absentmindedly petting the lion's back. daniel promises to be over in a few minutes and max looks around his room, chucking last night's clothes into his suitcase in an attempt to make it look a little tidier.

he considers spraying some cologne into the air but he also wants daniel to smell him. to smell how alpha he is. fuck, courting is hard. eventually, max cracks open the window a little, trying to get rid of the smell of the stale alcohol that clung to his clothes.

three raps on the door lets him know that daniel is outside and max chucks one last red bull polo into his suitcase before tripping over it to reach the door. smoothing out his shirt and taking a deep breath, he opens the door to a cheerful daniel.

large bags hang under the omega's eyes but his smile is ever so bright. max lets him in and quickly struts over to the bed as the door slams, forcing a wince from them both. at least he's not the only one who's hungover.

'i uh, i got you this,' max says, picking up the lion, and thrusting it towards daniel. 'you will like it, i think.'

'aww, maxy,' daniel laughs, taking the weighted lion from his hands. 'he's so cute! imma call him something gangster like lion.'

'that is, of course, very stupid, daniel,' max laughs back. 'you can't just tell him what he is. he, of course, knows he's a lion, daniel.'

'hmm, okay, what if i call him goose or something?' daniel smiles as max continues to laugh, shaking his head.

'no, daniel, he is a reindeer,' max watches as daniel's face lights up before he takes his place, painful laughs wracking through his body. his stomach hurts and tears well in the corner of his eyes.

'what about lian?'

'do you mean liam, daniel?' max takes a few steadying breaths as the omega shakes his head.

'noooo, maxy, lian for emilian and lion,' daniel's smile has fallen, his eyes sincere and max feels how earnest he's being. 'he's a gift from you, and he's orange, too.'

DO CRYO VISION HOLDERS DESERVE THEIR ELEMENT?

Sorry about how long this took, I told myself that I won't complete this series until I finish and publish another chapter of my fanfic. So I did. Then the exams :,-[

Ok, let's begin.

WHAT IS CRYO?

Cryo is associated with love in Genshin. I believe this comes from the 'the Snow Queen' by Hans Christian Anderson, where shards of a broken mirror corrupts the heart. So I can see an association there…

Ice is used as a preservative which is already perfect for Qiqi.

Ice is pretty, I can make a case for purity, clarity and Knowledge (because of the preservation aspect).

In terms of negative aspects: cold(world shattering idea over here), danger, isolation and slippery(trickster characters or smt)

let's begin.

KAEYA

Pretty boy already has the beauty aspect, however remember that there's more than meets the eye with this man. While I don't believe he's a completely bad person, I do think he could be a pretty dangerous character and so Varka was in the right keep him close.

Of course the slippery aspect works nicely with this man, I will make a case for isolation as well. Even if he does have people he cares about in Mondstadt, the dude that he should be closest to is Diluc, and well...

Also, Kaeya being aware of his role as a spy would further his feelings of isolation. The dude he trusted with that info blew up on him and the only other person we see him genuinely like is Klee.

Him being Kheanrian also allows him an association with the preservation aspect. He was told that his role would be vital for Kheanria.

Kaeya idolises family, he see's it as a very important part of a person's life. This results in one of the few concrete ideals this man exhibits. According to his informant Vile, he doesn't work with people who hurts other's families.

Abandoned by his biological dad [ I don't care if its for a good cause, its still abandonment,] he was adopted by Crepus, who died and had then falling out with his brother. I think we can safely state that he has familial issues.

Received the vision during THE altercation with Diluc. :/

DIONA

Diona's a bartender, and ice is an important part in cocktail mixing. She's open about her goals to dismantle the wine industry so we'll put her under clarity. She plays this cold, i-dont-care-about-you character, which is adorable when a child does it.

Her reasons for toppling down the wine industry is due to her father, the man is a drunk and though he doesn't become violent whilst under the influence, he still worries Diona with this addiction. Also, imagine the responsibilities that child would have. She has to take care of her father when he's in this state. We know she still loves her father though, so she has a complicated family situation.

She got her vision when she went out on a stormy night to find her father after he went missing while drunk.

She definitely loves her father, and her goals come from that love and desire to help him, even if it doesn't solve the root causes of alcoholism.

ROSARIA

Rosaria is cold and pretty isolated. She stays away from the activities of the sisters of Barbathos. She draws away from Mondstadt by being indifferent to the FUCKING ARCHON.

The people she tends to hang around with is Barbara [unwillingly], Kaeya [doesnt really trust him] and Venti[ It's Venti, the dude isn't trustworthy anyways]. Basically, her relationships in the tavern trio is, 'These two fucks are sus as hell so Imma monitor them.'

A brief explanation of her family situation. She was taken in and raised by a group of bandits. After betraying her gang, she had to kill her adoptive father. This is where she gets her vision.

She is taken in by Varka, after her 'family' was taken car of by the knights of favonius. She got the second chance since she was STILL A CHILD.

She stays and serves Mondstadt because she wants to repay the kindness she was shown.

MIKA

[Ok, so I did the research and notes like 2 months ago and I don't remember enough to elaborate on this part and I'm too lazy to go back to research so.... I'm just typing down the notes.]

Familial problems, knowledge, got the vision in a sticky situation, preservation [May come from the fact the my dude's a cartographer.]

EULA

Beautiful, dangerous, cold.

She is forced into isolation by her family and the people of Mondstadt due to her family history which is a fucking crappy thing to do. At least she has people on her side, so she's not completely alone.

I'll make a case of preservation, her family is an important part of Mondstadt's past, even if they were on the wrong side of history. bringing a major clan back this time in a positive light will preserve culture. Girl doesn't even deny her families past.

She got her vision during a low moment of her life, being cast out from Mondtsadt and her clan, unable to trade money for goods and services and left to fend for herself.

QIQI

Preservation because zombie. I guess she could be lonely, but she doesn't notice it that much. Adopted by baizhu. Whatever the FUCK I wrote here.

GANYU

As an adeptus, she has the role and duty of preserving Liyue. She was taken in by Cloud Retainer, and her story quest was her feeling lonely.

CHONGYUN

Reference to the chill you get when encountering spirits? Also his yang energy situation needs to be regulated via cold, so it could just be for mercy.

SHENHE

Obvious case for cold, isolation and danger. She was abandoned by her father and killed the monster she was sacrificed to. The adoptive daughter of Cloud Retainer. She is close with her new family.

AYAKA

Her clan are one of major players in the preservation of Inazuma. Due to her status, she feels isolated from the people she meets.

I'll make a case for Beauty and I've written down purity , which might come from the princess archetype she has going on? [ What was your logic me from two months ago? T-T]

The death of her parents had a toll on her brother, poor dude had to take over a FUCKING CLAN AND THE RESPONSIBILITIES AT THE AGE OF 16. I know Ayaka was also affected by their deaths as bad. And worst of all, one of her major emotional supports can't be close to her during such a hard time in her life.

I'm not saying she has any resentment to her brother or the people he serves, all im saying is that the Kamisato siblings were dealt a bad hand and I want people to appreciate them as much as I do.

I feel a strong case for love, especially towards her brother. Those two are pretty much all they have left.

LAYLA

All I have written down for her is knowledge. I'm gonna add preservation because her sleepy time conscience leaves a mark of her existence in the form of finished assignments.

It's weak, I know.

FREMINET

The knowledge aspect since he's fatus, Isolation [2 months younger me might have noted that due to his depression, hydrate yourselves btw.] I also wrote preservation down, if I wrote the essay down earlier I would've remembered the reason but I didn't and now I'll write more detailed notes, gods damned.

CONCLUSION

This one was a lot of guessing and decoding on my end, which is completely on me, my notes should be better.

The broken family before finding a new one trend was interesting to me, it's not all characters but enough to get me wondering.

Is this what the Tsarista feels?

Think about it, maybe she loses her family during the archon war, or she feels disappointed in her first 'family' [ since I doubt a diety associated with love would be oogely-boogely about what the Heavenly Principals have done]. She finds a new family in the form of the harbingers, the leader being a Kheanrian.

Another thing I noticed is a lot of the vision stories I saw was like a helping hand to the users, like, it was granted to show them that there was someone on their side.

They were given a vision when they were the most isolated.

Which I think is sweet. It's loving. Warming my heart as I type this out. The Tsaritsa is going to be an interesting character. I know it.

re: Why the Coppernob/Cornwall war

To a large extent they just have just been instilled with different value systems. So they're constantly judging each other.

Could they have left all this behind when they both separately embarked on their preservation years? I mean I guess but that’d be boring for them both. Let ‘em hang on to what little they have left from those days. Also, there was An Incident that cemented Coppernob’s enmity, justifying it retroactively… and for the next couple hundred years… 

Scene: 1898. F.R. 3 and 4 are making their final preparations, preparing to be dismantled for the last time in the coming winter. 4 has the bright idea to write to Cornwall. Apologize for their part in the old quarrel. Wish him and his well in the years ahead.

It should be noted 3 was against this idea from the start. But 4 was feelin’ chipper with a warm sense of good-fellowship peace-on-earth-goodwill-to-man, so he went right on ahead with the project.

3: He'll never reply.

4: He doesn't have to reply. The letter says so.

3:  Well... don't put my name on it!

4 and 4's driver: *ignore him. 3's name is signed to this bullshit too.*

To everyone's surprise, they do get a reply. Aaaand it's basically 'lol get scrapped losers. couldn’t even remember who you were till cousin columbine reminded me of the two grubby little humpback radishes i used to leave in my dust. anyway lmao imma live forever bitch. hope hell's hot enough for ya… probably gonna be a big step up from barrow tbh.' Of course in the end 3 is also preserved and now he can carry the memory of the time Cornwall basically spat in the face of all three of his dead siblings until the end of time.

I'm gonna be honest, I suspect Cornwall doesn't know the letter was sent. Like his attitude was "oh fuck them" and then he and his closest mates had a roaring session where they all tried to out-do each other on what Cornwall should write back but he has no idea some officious Company-proud shed employee dutifully wrote down all the roasts and sent the result back off to Barrow. Cornwall fully disliked the Copper-Nobs, and he is a jerk, but, like. He's not evil. If the engineman-turned-scribe had had the sense to confirm the letter he wrote up on his behalf Cornwall would undoubtedly have been like 'oh lmao no just rip it up.'

Which makes it all the funnier to me, ngl. Coppernob hates Cornwall intensely because he knows what a foul rat he secretly is. Cornwall thinks Coppernob is carrying a new degree of grudge because he didn't write back with kum-bye-ya we're-all-pals-now and scoffs at it. Other engines have picked up on the dark hints they've both thrown out about this incident and have had difficulty assembling them into a coherent narrative, for obvious reasons. It's a mess. If tomorrow they realized they were at cross purposes and Coppernob quoted that letter-he-totally-hasn’t-memorized Cornwall would be like 'WHAAAAT i never wrote that' and Coppernob would fuckin' die of humiliation when he learned Cornwall thought he'd been in a strop for a hundred twenty five years only because Cornwall left his apology on read and now his widdle fweelings were hurt. 'I'd never have given a fuck if there'd been no reply!! I never even wanted Four to send that stupid letter!!!!' 'real shit? haha that actually does make more sense lol your brother was such a loser — '

Aaaaaand I guess that'd be the beginning of the third phase of the endless grudge.

in this au, Phone Guy and Jen (In this Au, Henry's older sister) are married. Cassidy is Jen's daughter from a previous marriage, and she has behavioral issues mainly stemming but now that her bio dad is out of the picture Jen and she are working on it :thumbs_up:. she is one of the older kids that hangs out at fredbears and she hates Michael and his gang (funny, cus in all ways except biological they are cousins), she thinks Evan is kind of pathetic but still hangs out with him because no one else does. she is mostly looking after her own little sister Millie (Phone Guy's own daughter and the foxy kid)

in this au the mci happens a year or so after Evan dies in the Freddy's location that Henry operates. and the mci goes completely differently with Charlie being the first one to be killed. anyway William springlocks her in the Fredbear suit, however she does not actually die and sort of becomes a agony monster instead, like shadow freddy but with a physical body, just stuck inside the golden freddy suit

I was just thinking about simblr today, and you are probably the legit glue that holds black simblr together. Especially in the storytelling genre. I know we have a few but ain't NOBODY doing it like you do. They are either inconsistent or rely heavily on gameplay, which is fine because storytelling in The Sims is a labor of love but heavy on the labor. Your story alone literally has its own community. Lately, I have been leaning heavily into my art, therefore I've been hanging out more online with other artists, but one thing I'm going to do is come check your page for a new story update. I even pray god keeps you in perfect peace and good health so you can continue storytelling for as long as your heart is content. On top of all that, you use your platform to share other simmers content. You shit post the most random funny stuff and you stand up to anti-blackness. Random thoughts

The other day I was hanging out with my cousin and her children, a 3yr old boy and an 8yr old girl, and the boy had some kind of gremlin looking doll(?) and he was walking around holding it close and I thought that he kept saying, “this is my baby,” and I started to clown him about how could he have a baby, but fortunately I caught myself. I was about to do the heteronormativity thing, “boys can’t have babies,” instead of just letting him live in his imaginary world and have fun. And it turns out that he was actually saying, “this is my baby brother,” because he learned that his father had just had another child

And then I started to think about his sister, and how I used to mess with her when she was his age. Sometimes she would be showing off a new dress that she liked, and I would tell her how pretty she looked and then I would say something like, “I have a dress just like that,” and “May I borrow your pretty dress?” and every single time she would immediately respond by saying, “You’re a boy!” and telling me that she didn’t think it would fit me anyway

It made me think about how small children are like little “detail” vacuums in all the information and social cues that they absorb. This is not breaking news or anything, but it really hit me how, whether we intend to or not, we are enculturating children in what is and isn’t acceptable socially. Even nonverbally. They notice EVERYTHING and they incorporate all that they see and hear into their minds and behaviors

And then, lol, as I was driving home, I drove past a smoking hot, super attractive girl and as I got closer, I recognized her and suddenly wanted to kick myself. It was a girl who, maybe a couple of years ago, had pushed some of my friends and acquaintances to ask me if she could temporarily live with me until she got back on her feet (if I’m remembering correctly, her parents had kicked her out for attending BLM protests and wearing BLM bracelets). Anyway, at the time I was super tempted, but I recall telling her that I didn’t have a spare bed and I didn’t wanna sleep on the couch indefinitely and she said, “We could share your bed. I won’t bite, unless you’re into that kind of thing” and for whatever reason, that set off alarm bells in my head, so I gently declined to take her on as a roommate

I almost stopped to offer her a ride, but it felt weird and also Imma coward

As an aside, someone asked me if she had been a 21yr old guy, would I have taken them in, and my answer was “probably” and Idk what to think about the implications of what that means. Like, I’m a cis/het straight guy, but why specifically did taking in a girl make a difference? A person in need is a person in need, regardless of their gender sexuality etc. And would it have made a difference if it was a girl who I wasn’t attracted to? 🤔

Anyway, I’m lowkey definitely regretting that decision now. WTF were you thinking, Odin??

A continuation to this post about what if Fubuki told Saitama that Genos likes him and my thoughts about it that I typed on discord. Set after the psychic sisters arc. I can't figure out where to put Rover and Black S so imma ignore them.

So, I want Fubuki to tell Saitama that Genos likes him. Saitama is ofc flabbergasted at the notion and then Fubuki presses on and Saitama keeps denying and deflecting like "there's no way thats true and he hasnt said anything" and offhanded comments that Genos shouldnt bother anyway, hes just caped baldy and maybe some other type of self-deprecating comment that's a bit subtle but Fubuki does pick up on and comments about that why doesnt Saitama feel like he's not worthy of Genos attention.

Saitama doesn't rly know how to answer that and he's like dunno, Genos is just amazing and it's not like he's interested back. Fubuki just raises an eyebrow and goes like well Genos does and maybe he should talk about it or something. Consider this advice a favour back for helping with Psykos situation and not allowing Tatsumaki to kill Psykos (or something like that idk).

Saitama ruminates on what he learned about Genos from Fubuki and does decide to contront Genos about it when Genos arrives back home…and they get into a heated argument because they can't seemingly get each other and other's feelings or something. Genos unloads his own frustrations about doing everything, being ignored and being pressured to do so much and he acts jealous too and Saitama impulsively says that he doesn't even like Genos back or doesn't swing that way. Ouch.

Genos feels hurt and slams the door and Saitama left is alone, in his new house that's still unfamiliar with no company and feeling like he messed up big time.

Genos goes to Kuseno's labs and stays there for a while, thinking he's not good enough for Saitama. Saitama himself gets depressed because the house is so empty without Genos and it's dinner time and he doesn't feel like cooking, despite being hungry because it doesn't feel the same without Genos there eating with him and he doesn't feel motivated to cook at all. He wakes up the next morning and calls out to Genos because Genos is usually awake before him and looks at the futon that's still untouched next to the wall and the lack of Genos in the kitchen and sighs. He's hungry so he eats banana for breakfast and puts on the tv. Nothing new but he continues to feel awful and lay down on the floor.

King suddenly comes to visit him because he didn't catch Saitama before and he hasn't heard of Saitama for a bit and King immediately notices Saitama's mood is really down and asks where Genos is because he doesn't see him and Saitama tells that he's probably still at Kuseno's place /or he doesnt know where he is and King gets worried even more because this is unlike them and he asks what happened.

Saitama drops the bomb and says that Genos apparently likes him and then he messed it all up.

King goes "oh brother" and goes into advice mode and tries to offer wisdom to Saitama about relationships (that he has picked up from dating sim, but it rings surprisingly true still) but Saitama stays in bad mood. King says they should go eat something and Saitama says he doesnt have money, they had to replace so many items and he only got lucky because he apparently punted some S-class criminals and took em in to custody. King says not to worry and that he will pay for food, which does lift Saitama's spirits a little bit and they go out to eat and chat.

Somene might notice that King is hanging around with Caped Baldy and maybe even start harrassing them and take pictures, but King makes them back off. Then they come back to Saitama's place and King has brought video games, but it ends up with Saitama having a more volatile and less repressed reaction than usual when he loses again and he actually throws the controller through the floor and through the ground in a gamer rage. There's a tense silence.

King then points out that Saitama is quite moody apparently but before he does anything, maybe he should count to 3...or 10, if that helps. Saitama frustratedly sits down and balls his fists because he's still feeling so pissed and then that frustration bleeds into sadness and he starts to cry frustrated, angry tears.

"I miss Genos."

Saitama tries to grapple with his own feelings of frustration at himself and the sadness his loneliness brings and King pats his shoulder in comforting, if awkward manner and says something about letting it all out. Saitama feels weirded out that he can't seem to stop feeling and thinking about the situation and Genos and how frustrated and sad he is and then suddenly he realizes: he's not feeling emotionally numb anymore or hollow.

It now feels more like he's a dam ready to burst. He points this out in wonderment to King and suddenly he feels so elated he starts bouncing around like a little kid on sugar, sadness forgotten. King does ask what has happened and Saitama doesn't rly know, but it it really does feel like he's not apathetic before.

They get interrupted by Flashy Flash coming to a surprise visit.

Or turning Yagami out onto the street, since he’d probably relinquish the office couch to Okubo and sleep on the floor himself. And Sugiura can’t do that, not when he owes it to Okubo to at least be civil, and not when he owes just about everything to Yagami.

It’s a month before Okubo is released, and when that day finally comes, he looks so small and scared in clothes that hang off his skinny frame, his hair cut and face clean and eyes wide as he stares at Sugiura. He’s leaning on his van right outside the prison gates, and he waves slowly, a forced smile on his face as Okubo visibly shakes himself into stepping forward.

“Hi, um…” Okubo starts, shoulders hunching as his eyes drop to his feet. He stays just out of reach, safe and away from the man who had spent the last three years believing he’d been the one who’d killed his sister, and Sugiura frowns. “What should I call you?” He asks at last. Sugiura pushes off the side of the van and sets his hands on his hips.

“Sugiura is fine.” He says, shorter than he’d meant it, and Okubo flinches.

“Okay, then, Sugiura-san.” And that feels wrong, somehow. Too formal given all the shit they share.

“Just Sugiura. No need to be so polite.” He corrects, forcing another smile.

“Oh, okay.” Okubo says with a reflexive bow. “I’m, um… I’m glad you came. I was worried that… well, I guess I was worried that no one would be here.”

“Yagami-san wanted to come, but he got hung up on a case. We can stop by the office, though, if you wanna see him.” Sugiura offers, gesturing to the van, and Okubo bows again.

“No, I don’t want you to go out of your way for me.” He murmurs.

“It’s not out of the way. He’s my friend, y’know? And besides, we have to go through Kamurocho to get to my place, anyway.”

Okay... storyline (I remember the movie more. I only read the beforever book too so my memory of the actual story is a bit tainted. And because the beforever books are honestly horrible because they cut out legitimately the entire story to make it shorter, I will be referring to the movie.)

So the movie starts out with kit going to her brother Charlie's place of work to turn in a newspaper she wrote herself (he works at the Cincinnati News thingy. Idk I don't read the news.) In the book he is living at home about to leave for uni, and he doesn't go because they are too poor. So this guy is like "hey this is a giant company... we can't take ur newspaper sorry" and she goes home.

When she gets there there are two hobos who need a job for some food and she brings them to her mom so they can get some. Tbh I can't remember their names. One is this like... tall white boy, and the other is a child. He isn't white. He's prolly black but idk. The mom, Margret is hanging out with Judgy socialites and she is nice but the others are not. One of them makes a comment about how it's disgusting how they don't have a place to live (keep her in mind she is important later.) Then her and three other girls go into a treehouse together and take an oath of allegiance to the treehouse club. It's basically about women who did great things like Amelia Earheart. In it is her best friend Ruth-Ann "Ruthie" Smithens, and two other girls. They are sisters and live across the street.

Unfortunately in the middle of the oath the look outside to see the girls mom weeping outside the house, and all of their furniture being moved out. A foreclosure sign was being nailed into their front yard. Both girls ledt to never be seen again. Seriously where did they go? Anyway this didn't really affect our unvothered queen Kit and she decided to write a newspaper article about it for her father to read. (In the book he came home in a car, in the movie he walked. Idk why tbh.) It deeply bothered him and he had a sad demeaner

Nothing really happens for a bit if I remember right, until she goes on a little trip to the store or something and she sees a little dog with a sign that says "name is grace. Can't feed anymore" and she begs her mom to get her. She reluctantly says yes and suddenly a man runs by with a stolen wallet. He has a parrot tattoo. Remember that for later too.

That night her snobby rich uncle came over and raged over the fact they adopted a dog and nothing else really happened. He has more importance in the books I think.

Anyway. Remember that socialite from earlier? Yeah. She becomes homeless. Karma. Margret, who felt they were doing fine invited her to live with them, and she did. She moved in with her son whatsitsface or whatever. Idk he's not #girlpower or whatever. He is girlypop. Defo fr. Anyway in the book he's like "frail" or whatever and kit hates him for it. So not slay kit. Be nice to him (I just rememyhis name was Stirling.)

Anyway her dad comes home from work and is concerned about the fact they moved in and then kit goes to school. There is a bully and Stirling essentially tar and feathered him (kits school outfit ft. Maryellen because this is the only one I took btw)

Anyway so basically they're taking a field trip to the food kitchen to help the less fortunate and kit sees her dad and throws a hissy fit saying she hates her dad or something. In the book he just sold the car and that's what set her off. He went to Chicago or something and she got so mad and typed on the typewriter about how stupid Chicago was and money and how she hated her dad, then scrapped the letter and wrote about how cool the boarders she took in were. Yes boarders. The ones in the book seem lame. It was like a few teachers and a doctor or something idk. In the movie tho, a dancer, a librarian, a magician, then of course Stirling and his mom.

Nothing really happens for a while excepy that those two hobos have been working for them still and Margret gives them the dad's old boots. That's important to know.

Kit goes to the hobo camp with Stirling, Ruthie, and the two hobos and she writes a newspaper about it. She tries to get this one published but fails again.

Then she goes home and her family and all boarders put their values into a box and hid it in the house because Ruthies dad (a rich banker who keeps none of his money in the bank) was robbed. Actually it was robbed by some guy... no someone they know. They had kits dad's shoes. YES JT WAS THE HOBOS. but they wouldn't do that... would they? No... because the culprit has a parrot tattoo and neither had that!!!

So basically they were framed... but by who?

No time to figure it out because the kitties were robbed and their house was foreclosed. They had only a little bit to move out, but until that one of the boarders' cousins moved in. Kit saw that he had a tattoo and investigated his room while they were gone. She found EVERYTHING that was stolen, and chased them down. They found her Ruthie and Stirling and they got into this epic chase. Because they could read hobo they figured out which way the camp was and switched the sign backwards. The hobos knew them, and liked them, so they hid them when the people came (the magician, his cousin, and the librarian oddly enough) and they threatened the hobos. Basically the popo caught them or something and the other hobos were released (oh yeah I forgot to mention the short one ended up being trans omg)

Kit won her family a cash reward because it turned out they were like major criminals, then she wrote a newspaper article, got it published, and got like 3k in modern day money from it. They were saved.

Thanksgiving day came up and it was pretty normal, except now there were boarders. Then the door rings. Kit jumps up thinking it's her dad and it ends up being every single hobo from camp bringing a different kind of hobo food. Also the trans one learned to read thats like a whole sub plot I forgot to mention. She reads in front of the whole group of people and everyone is happy, except for kit. She misses dad. All of a sudden in the isolating quiet of such a loud place she looks outside and sees a figure. HER DAD.

Ok so I started watching Game of Thrones for the first time in my life 4 days ago and accidentally binged it here's my opinions on characters so far (finished s2) unfiltered by The Fandom

Ned - was a great man, I feel so complicated abt his relationship with Cat and his unknown relationship with Jon's mom cuz the way he gets a far away look when talking abt her to Robert makes it feel like he is either super guilty abt it or he cared for her much more than he ever cared for Cat. Bro was so dumb for trying to save Cersei and her bastard kids. Myrcella and Tommen seem nice enough but two nice incest babies doesn't make the one that's killing the entirety of Westeros any better

Cat - so cool love love love, I hate how she doesn't have much agency and when she does it's to release Jaime??? I should probably rewatch the episode tho bc I'm watching the show at work (13hr shifts so I walk away a lot without pausing and get spoiled before rewinding) bc i just dont understand her thought process. I feel so terrible that she doesn't even know if any of her kids besides Robb are alive but freeing Jaime is NOT gonna help imo

Robb - every time I look at him I think abt how similar he looks to Jon like they could be twins dude. He needs to quit having a relationship w that one nurse girl cuz this is war and the only thing that comes from showing the world that you love someone BEFORE YOU WIN is that they need to kill her. Idk how they're gonna do it but she's gonna die. But he's doing so well as the leader of winterfell and I love how Sean Bean lives on in the show and everything he did had meaning and his death wasn't for nothing. Jon - pretty boring storyline I'm sad to say. It feels soooo slow when he gets on screen. The baby thing was interesting and so is the Pale Man (I'm sure he has a scary name but I wasn't paying attention too well). He IS an interesting character at least his backstory I mean and in relation to Ned and Cat

Sansa - poor sweet girl I cry for her everytime she's on screen can't somebody save her she's like 13 Cersei let her freeeeee. Her actress is so good btw, I really didn't like how she had a crush on Joffrey so quickly but she paid for it when Lady died and continues to pay for having a silly innocent little school girl crush on the worst person to ever be born

Arya - her storyline is the most stressful, like she has a higher chance of dying than anyone else in her family. I do hope her and Gendry can be friends, he already seems like an older brother to her just like assassin guy

Bran & Rickon - I forgot rickon existed a lot. I actually forgot if Bran got his memory back, not like it matters since everyone knows Cersei and Jaime be fuckin. Anyways I'm sure Bran's gonna walk again due to magic or whatever idk why the First One girl is helping him instead of abandoning them too I got soooo stressed when I thought Bran and Rickon died that I didn't realize the farmers kids had died

Theon - rn I wanna shake him around cuz tf bro why would you burn and hang the dead bodies of ANYONE. I have a very black and white way of seeing things so I cannot ever forgive him for the kids sakes and a couple measly gold coins isn't gonna bring the kids back. I really don't care for him or his storyline anymore I thought he was funny with his "Oh I'm such an alpha male, women should fall at my feet cuz imma be king of the world!" Only to get thrown into reality when his sister has more of a right to the throne than he does

Robert - bro should've never gone hunting istg so much would've helped if he survived AND I THINK ACTUALLY THAT THAT OLD MAN DIDNT TREAT HIS WOUNDS SINCE HE PLEDGED AN OATHE TO TYWIN LANNISTER AND SOLD OUT ARYS ROBERT AND TYRION

Cersei - someone said she thinks in the BIG big picture and that doesn't make sense bc shes going out of her way to try and save Jaime from the Starks while trying to deny accusations of their incest. In a way her being such a terrible person makes me like Jaime because of the fact I doubt it was his idea to never interact with those kids. I keep forgetting their his kids too bc of the fact he's never around them or talks to them. Also her killing Jon Arryn was so stupid.

Joffrey - I saw a video on tiktok abt "the kind of person who watches the show from the wrong side" where the guy loves Joffrey and everything he does BEFORE I got to the part where he abused the two sex workers and ran away from a war he caused

Tyrion - he deserves happiness but Shae deserves to be free and now that Cersei is sus of her she's in so much danger. I don't think theyre gonna last and I'm gonna be so sad. I sincerely can't tell if Shae likes him or not and I feel like he's being suuuuper toxic by locking her up when he could've just let her be. When wartime came I was so impressed by him he was so cool. Truly one of the only good, if not THE best Lannister.
