after ep 11 and the marriage contract reveal and seeing a lot of speculation that they are a god of anarchy (already v connected to figs character) i rewatched the scene between her and porter and zara talking about where she gets her powers from fig says about kristen (and cass) “she’s doubt, im rebellion, they go hand in hand” and brennan lays it on thickkk about fig pledging herself to rebellion would also make kristen (and cass) stronger !!!

Rath x Lyn would be a nice ship if their A wasn't just Rath dumping his backstory exposition on her. he really thinks this pulls women? no. get outta here.

what I would have liked is for that exposition to be delivered in his A support with Guy. think about it!

you could easily write Rath as bitter bc Guy is planning to return to the Kutolah someday and he doesn't have that choice. only for Guy to point out that the Kutolah's adherence to tradition has also failed him, and that once he's The Very Best Swordguy he plans to return, not only to protect his mother but to challenge that tradition. this opens Rath up to the possibility of returning to the tribe as well. they have a friendship moment, roll credits. then the writers can change Rath's A w/ Lyn to something that's actually interesting.

oh well. it'll exist in my dreams at least lol
