i have a lot of thoughts about s1 izzy’s whole thing basically being ‘ed is my person and these idiots are hurting (changing) him so i need to stop that’ and then in s2 so far it’s shifted a lot and is pretty much ‘these idiots are my people and ed is hurting them so i need to stop that’

like he already had to eat two more toes theres no way he didnt know that trying to talk to ed would probably put him in physical danger but he put himself between ed and the crew multiple times anyway

and then later i very much got the sense that he was positioning himself between the crew and stede specifically in terms of blame for ed’s “death”

i also firmly believe that s1 jim wouldnt have even tried to save his life with the leg but now its “he’s our dick”

I wouldn't call myself an expert when it comes to Dementor piss, as I only discovered it a couple of months ago. I've never tasted it and have never felt inclined to taste it. However, what I can tell you is how it smells. That is a sense that can give a rough idea of how something could taste. As I stated in my journal entry from that day:

I received an owl from the Ministry today. Something about an accident with a Dementor and great-aunt Agatha. When I arrived at Azkaban, I was told that a Dementor mistook her for a toilet. Her skin was missing in patches, some spots were burned down to her muscle tissue. Though it seems that it cauterized the patches not long after burning her flesh.

As ghastly of a sight as it was, the smell was the worst part. It was such a pungent smell that I can feel bile forming in my throat just recounting it. Sour like a lemon. A crup puppy that just came in from the rain. What I can only describe as a baby's filled diaper. And, perhaps worst of all, roses. Any other time, roses would be a refreshing scent. Yet it only seemed to attempt to mask the other scents.

(This section is to address the well wishes I received. I greatly appreciate it and don't know how to express my gratitude. I've never been great when it comes to expressing my own emotions and if I'm being honest, I'm pretty exhausted...)

@cyan1decandy, thank you for taking the time to share your detailed knowledge with us, darling. One can never have too much of it really, even concerning things of such a gruesome nature. I suppose it is rather fortunate I never much cared for roses.

That said, My concern only grows for the state of @marketfreshfics's love nest. I daresay it must be beyond salvageable.
