God, Cal is so useless at everything. I don't know whether to pity him or bully him. Though I guess he'd enjoy the latter
I think what he'd really like is attention LOL and he might not be able to discern what is "good" attention and "mean" attention

Nobody does it like fictional men who think they're sooooo suave & cool & charismatic but they're actually the biggest most pathetic sopping wet girlfail losers you've ever seen in your whole entire life

one thing i absolutely love about randy telling chris he’s being disrespectful in the beginning of the movie is like yeah sure maybe. he was fs being crass and immature and stupid. but also the woman he was talking abt was right there and she was eating that shit up lol. like are you defending the honor of women everywhere dude. the only woman in the building didn’t give a fuck

i have to say i'm kind of baffled that nathan's entire s3 arc is apparently just. romance? like obviously this is just my opinion but To Me a lot of what led to him doing everything he did was caused by deep insecurity and a self loathing he overcompensated for by diminishing others, and a lot of that also came down to him feeling insufficient As A Man (he was obviously set up to be very envious of roy, who was everything he wanted to be) so. to see him have a redemption arc entirely based on him starting to date someone is just deeply strange. the idea that his self worth and his masculinity would be validated by a woman is...... uuuh...... like idk man for a show that wants to be "about fathers" and thus to an extent about masculinity, and that obviously is invested in showing different displays of healthy masculinity confident in their identity, it reaaaly feels like they dropped the ball with nate.
