Shirisha Bandla, a 34-year-old aeronautical engineer of Indian origin, will be part of Virgin Galactic's first space flight on Sunday. Born in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, Bandla grew up in Houston. With this, she will become the third woman of Indian origin to go into space after Kalpana Chawla and Sunita Williams. Bandala will travel with Sir Richard Branson, founder of Virgin Galactic, in this historic trip. Five other people will also be involved in the spaceship-2, which will depart from New Mexico for space travel. "I am very honored to be associated with the people who went to Unity 22. I am also proud to be part of a company with a mission to make space travel accessible to all," Bandala tweeted. According to Bandla's profile in Virgin Galactic, she will be the No. 4 astronaut and her role in the flight will be that of a 'research experience'. Bandla said in a July 6 video posted on Virgin Galactic's Twitter account, "I was speechless when I first heard of this opportunity. The ODI series between touring India and Sri Lanka, which starts on July 13, has now been postponed for four days after the team's data analyst Niroshan Koro's report came positive after Sri Lankan cricket team's batting coach Grant Flower Corona suffered a concussion. Thus, the series will start from July 17. Earlier, matches were played on July 13, 16 and 19, while T20 matches were scheduled to be played on July 22, 24 and 27, but now the first ODI will be played on July 17. The complete Nataraj 🙇🏻‍♂️ About :- The sculpture is symbolic of Shiva as the lord of dance and dramatic arts with its style and proportions made according to Hindu texts on arts. It typically shows Shiva dancing in one of the Natya Shatra poses, holding Agni (fire) in his left back hand, the front hand in gajahasta (elephant hand) or dandahasta (stick hand) mudra, the front right hand with a wrapped snake that is in abhaya (fear not) mudra while pointing to a Sutra text, and the back hand holding a musical instrument, usually a damaru. His body, fingers, ankles, neck, face, head, ear lobes and dress are shown decorated with symbolic items, which vary with historic period and region. He is surrounded by a ring of flames, standing on a lotus pedestal, lifting his left leg (or in rare cases, the right leg) and balancing / trampling upon a demon shown as a dwarf who symbolizes ignorance. The dynamism of the energetic dance is depicted with the whirling hair which spread out in thin strands as a fan behind his head. The details in the Nataraja artwork have been variously interpreted by Indian scholars since the 12th-century for its symbolic meaning and theological essence.
