Spiritual awakening is hard on the body

Why are my feelings too much to handle? As a reiki healer, I get asked this a lot.

Our bodies are definite, while our spirits are infinite. For instance, our fingers measure 4 or 5 inches while a spirit's fingers are everywhere and nowhere at once. Spirits know no bounds. It's difficult for our human minds to understand this concept since our world is so finite.

When we begin Chakra healing, the Kundalini energy rises, resulting in a growth of spiritual and self-awareness. As awareness grows, so do feelings in an overwhelming sense - then comes the work to process.

Some feelings are too overwhelming to understand initially because we need time for the subconscious to process. We may suffer an exhaustive few days, a week, or even a month while our subconscious sorts through it all to finally render a verdict of how we feel about the growth we are enduring.

Some folks may consider themselves depressed, uncharactaristically anxious, moody, distracted, or even elated. Nomatter the type of feeling, it is always overwhelming. These feelings are too big for our bodies. And that's the way it's supposed to be.

Be gentle with yourself, throughout. It means good things are coming along with understanding the difference between the finite and infinite world we co-exist in. Once we understand this, manifestation and working with our ethereal plaines becomes a reality.

It's magical - and requires MUCH patience, meditation and understanding. Please do share your questions and experiences!
