Inktober of '21 and '22 - Day 30: Slither and Gear

Featuring: the Slitherwing from Dreamworks Dragons, and my magnetism-wielding naga, codename: Iron Cobra.

Entry to inktober! But it's tmnt

Day 1: dream. (Tw: description of body horror, angst)

He's been feeling worse since the invasion.

Phantom pains followed, getting more and more vivid with every passing day. the feeling of his head being gripped by slimy cold roots that dug first his eye, then past his skull, his brain, splitting muscle fiber and bone alike, chipping off bloody scales, replacing nerves with the same roots.

In his dreams, he sees himself. First his scales fall away, leaving thin, raw skin that he knows is vulnerable to the lightest breeze, and the next thing he knows, his body in front of him, is pierced by a fleshy stake clean through the hip up to the shoulder, his left eye is missing. The tendril shakes, something similar to blood vessels breaking the pink skin and lifting, reaching up, and the same is happening to him.

He is limp like a ragdoll, and he watches, like thats not him being ripped apart from the inside out, because he feels nothing. No physical pain, no emotion, just watching from the side, no will, no soul.

Roots, branches? Pierce his skin from his head, from his arms, from his eye socket, from his mouth, he's not bleeding.

Then there's a snap, and his head is detached, dry, with a few spine pieces following, lifted into the air by the branch that is through his mouth, keeping it wide open in what looks like a scream of agony.

The branch twists, wrapping around his head and yanks it back down and twists again.

The tendrill unfurls like the world's most disgusting flower and leaves his jaws open. Then his bottom jaw falls, rotten, teeth and all and another tendril slithers up his throat along with a blood curdling screech.

He jerks up, one eye wide open, the other one aching under the cold and sweaty bandages on his head. He's gasping and huffing, bringing a shaky hand up to feel the eye underneath the cloth.

He's not sure it's his eye anymore.

Crispy (my Mirialan OC Hadassah with a leaf crown), Patch (a partial redraw of a panel from The Silver Eye webcomic, where my favorite character, Noah, gets his shirt patched with some, uh, interesting material), and Slither (Madeline Wuntch, because I figured it sounded like a Holt insult and also I was running out of ideas🤣)

inktober poems!

some friends of mine have decided to do a bunch of different stuff for inktober, so i decided to join in with my writing and write a poem for each day. i think i'll put them here as well. the prompt i got for day 1 was Dream and i wrote a sonnet.

Day 1: Dream

A dream and a reality at play, On substance smooth or sour they may lean, A need to drift away at end of day And linger on the thoughts that might have been,

For when the louts are tucked away in bed And nature’s mood light moves to moon from sun One can’t help wonder somewhere in their head, “I chose this path - what of the other one?”

It takes a man seconds to mop his brow - To wipe away the sweat the world has built - But endless moments gather at him now And try to slither underneath his quilt.

In life, we pick out where we want to go, But doubt will follow; steady, moving slow.

Ineffable inktober day 22-snake

"Snake!" A woman yelled as she scrambled out of the bookshop. A large black and red snake slithered out from his spot behind the shelves and into the back room. Aziraphale tutted at him.

"Crowley, dear, do refrain from scaring my customers. Quite bad for buisness."

Slide 2- Everyone knows but then: Aziraphale and Crowley standing and talking while 2 little guys watch them in the background. They're thinking "We know what you are."

Aziraphale makes the first move: a neck up doodle of Aziraphale kissing Crowley. Crowley's eyes are wide in shock. Hearts float around them.

Slide 3- Traditional inked doodles.

Body Worship: A naked Aziraphale laying on his back having his stomach kissed by a equally naked Crowley. Crowley says, "You look beautiful." Aziraphale has stretchmarks on his stomach and legs and he is wearing a strained look. Hearts float around them. Nothing is showing. This isn't sexual.

BAMF Aziraphale: A chibi face Aziraphale holding his flaming sword in a aggressive way. This angel is angry.

Slide 4- Day 3: Hug

Traditional inked doodle of a Fem!Aziraphale and Crowley hugging. Aziraphale is wearing her normal outfit except with a pencil skirt. Her hair is shoulder length and curly. Crowley's face is buried in Aziraphale tits with her arms around Aziraphale's waist. She is weaing her normal outfit.

Slide 5- Day 4: Apple

A traditional inked illustration. Warlock and Adam are sitting back to back. Warlock is curled up looking at his green game boy and Adam is lounging with one knee up with an apple in his left hand.
