#comic#ert#sketchbook#atg#alexander the great#bagoas#alexander/bagoas#for purposes of tagging ig#cw nudity#Ive been working on this comic for over a week and its so far from done#('working' she says as if she hasnt ignored it for 4 days out of 10)#i had 10 pages left of my sketchbook so I decided to just.. draw a comic there#the format is a little wide and its appx a5 so i cant get much detail in at times but its fine#this is pretty fun actually#and its always a joy to have an excuse to draw bagoas excessively#fun fact i spent 15 minutes trying to install printer drivers to my new laptop#only to realise that i dont have my csp installed and verified on it#so it was faster to just boot up my old busted laptop and do the work there#anyways this is comic1 out of 3 that I have for my 'pillowtalks' series#idk when Ill do the others#and the other two are a lot darker than this one

#every time they press smth on their computer and it doesnt do the one thing theyre looking for they bring it to me like figure this out#i taught myself how to install the printer to their laptops bc my boss didnt want to pay someone to do it#the printer is probably the worst tho bc they find new ways to fuck it up every time the make copies 😭😭

my laptop (finally) died the other day and must say design/print jobs from a phone are not the easiest but we soldier on 💪🏻
#mostly the print part because printers these days are allergic to printing images at actual size#laptop would probably be fixable were it not for the pre-existing... quirk of the display only working if you boot it up with the lid close#kinda rules out any restarts (has to be fully powered down and back on each time)#there is literally no way to access safe mode to even see if that works. so.#RIP Bill you were a pain in my ass#in hindsight getting a laptop called an OMEN was probably. you know. an omen#would also probably be fine if i simply replaced the hard drive but he's so decrepit is truly is not worth it#maybe i'll finally install Linux on whatever piece of shit bargain basement refurbished machine i replace him with#because at this point it's going to be running Windows 11 most likely and i just.#IWouldPreferNotTo.jpg

Coworker (on the phone): "huh"
Coworker (using loud photocopier): "were you talking to me"
Dad (not wearing hearing aids): "what"
#also the new paralegal's windows 11 laptop auto-installed a bad driver that appears to have temporarily bricked the printer/copier#this happened the last time someone with a windows 11 pc tried to use the printer too. it printed out about 200 pages of gibberish this tim#apparently more than 200 last time#is this intentional on the manufacturer's part? like some sort of kickback setup benefitting the service techs they license#the law

I made it. I fixed my pc. Without bursting into tears. 🥹 I'm proud of me.

One dead laptop, an incredibly expensive failure to run photocopies, a tedious document retrieval process, a move, and a shitload of fighting later, I can finally print FUCKIT from the comfort of my mom's house.
Bitches, we are back.

we got a new register system installed at work today and so far it has been an Entire Nightmare
