Illustrations of fandom racism: 99% of the discussions since we've had new clips have been around Daniel and Armand, based on...nothing. Daniel is just the only white guy there and this fandom needs to center a white man at all times. Then there's this stupid ass ask Nalyra doesn't bother calling out for anything because we all know her view on black people. Every inch of Lestat's abuse is some cunt slay mother shit to these people but Louis is "an ass" for *checks notes* "bullying [Daniel] about his ex wife." Excuse me, I'd like this fandom to remember the things Daniel has said to Louis (regarding his own ex AND his daughter) AND Armand, especially when Armand was Rashid. You're supposed to notice race in this show and understand that the white men aren't coming out on top here on any level and yet this fandom cannot let go of wanting everyone else to believe that so hard. Ask cap under the cut so it's not such a jumpscare.

I was wondering if at NYCC we might get another teaser for S2 and then I can get back to my search for the new actors who might be appearing. But if you haven't seen it yet, I have some compiled information about the actors and other things.

I believe that if they release another teaser it will be with some quick new footage, but that a final trailer would probably come out at the end of the year or beginning of next year. Any bets?

I love stumbling on your yaps about your current interests. Even when it things I'm not really treated in you always pour so much passion into your works or rants that I get invested anyway, I love when you come across my blog again and this just reminded me to get into your Interivew with a vampire content tomorrow and re-read all your scream fics bc I miss them. the way you described my yaps lowkey made me emotional, bc part of the reason i got into fic writing at all is bc i had all this energy and love for specific stories and characters and i wanted to put it towards something. i'm glad my passion comes across bc i love thinking through character dynamics and the external influences that impact a character's behavior.

scream will always be very important to me, and i do hope to get back into it soon. interview with a vampire is a little newer to me, but already so dea. i hope u enjoy them <33

When I was really feverish some months ago I had wild and vivid dreams of being certain Gothic literary characters. Including a certain doctor and sorcerer who sold his soul to the demon Mephisto.

One dream of being this character had Mephisto showing me depictions of Hell and I said something like "Well, then I'd better not die" and then there was a sort of montage of reincarnating through the last five hundred or so years, always avoiding him.

Another dream I had of being this character had an exasperated Mephisto asking if I knew who I was and demanding I say it. And my response was a gloriously defiant and slightly stupid "I am The Vampire Lestat."

It seemed comical at the time but I've gone through a lot these last two and half years that make me feel more and more connected with Anne Rice's Lestat even though they butchered him and made him a physical abuser in the AMC Interivew with The Vampire TV series. Perhasp that drastic misunderstanding of the character has rekindled my old love of the literary version of him. Even the musical version.

I'm forty-two-years-old and emotionally connecting to an eternal twenty-something vampire as much as I did when I was fourteen.

Do people know that writers assistants don’t write anything? The most that person will do is to photocopy stuff.

Ppl know that, but it's still the fact they wanted so much special attention for this, the way they got the job, and now showing how much disdain they feel for the fandom on serious topics. I guess real journalists only care about Daniel Molloy's sex life. It's all such a joke.
