Bloodlines visionary Iris Campbell is the best character of the franchise to handle their premonition. She doesn't just sit in her seat and watch everyone around her die, only the last because she is coincidentally the last in the order. Nah, she puts in the work, effort and run to survive, stay alive and on top. When the premonition is over, she snatches that coin, snatches that mic and doesnt just save a small group that gets dragged into her panic attack; nah, she just literally saves everyone.

hey heyyyyy if YOU 🫵👁️👁️ yeah YOU 🫵👁️👁️ like plotlines following cursed women in a family then you should watch Final Destination: Bloodlines!!!!

Love how the lineage from Iris to her daughter Darlene to her daughter Stefani all have to deal with the burden of worrying about Death pursuing their family line, all because Iris found out she was going to die and her desire to survive was stronger.

Love how Iris became a doomed matriarch because of her paranoia and how Darlene tried to have a normal family herself, only to be haunted by her mother's worries and overprotection and spread that to her children, subsequently becoming estranged from them too.

Love how Stefani resents her mother for her seemingly baseless worries about the family until she learned Iris' story and becomes the new visionary of her generation. She hates the idea that she's starting to become like her mother but has to do what is necessary to keep her cousins and brother safe from Death's design, and as she spends more time with her mother she realizes that the pain she went through came from a place of love. Ouch!

These women only want to protect their families, yet they're only human and are forced to reckon with the literal force of death, so they end up feeling isolated in their desire to keep their loved ones safe!

Final Destination Bloodlines Spoliers

(Along with a Theory/Headcanon)

This scene from Final Destination 2, especially the moment between him and Kimberly, hits a lot differently knowing what we know now about Bludworth's past and his connection with Death's design.

He was so ready to just repeat the whole “In Death, there are no escapes” spiel and just send Clear and the others on their way…

…but then Kimberly stops him.

And they share a look with each other, and that’s nearly all it takes to convince him to tell them of the “New Life can break the cycle” rule, and I have a theory as to why.

Look at the way he looks at her here. Almost as if… he recognizes her.

While she’s not a member of that specific bloodline, I like to believe that the reason he helped her ultimately cheat Death (and WIN)… is because she reminded him of the girl who saved his life all those years ago.

crashout ramble before bloodlines. i have NOT watched so not spoiling anything (not like i know much).

nor do i wish for spoilers

okay so like I've been a fan of the franchise since january 2023 and I've waited so damn long for this stupid movie so i decided to go dressed up for the occasion - prom wishes i had put that much effort tbh.

i decided to wear Iris Campbell's clothes and go with Nick O'bannon's colors during the mall scene, my favorite outfit he has.

in the end I get this. I am praying it comes on time. I am terrified. Excited.
