[Image description: screenshot from The Owl House of King saying: "No one wants to think they've wasted their life following the wrong person." End description.]
The thing about rewatching Hollow Mind, after the finale, is realizing this sentiment isn't just about Belos's followers, or about Luz initially looking up to Philip. In fact, it's just as much about Belos himself.
No one wants to admit you spent years chasing a brother who didn't want to go home. Who wasn't the witch hunter he once claimed to be. Who, in every reincarnation, still won't become the person you wanted him to be.
No one wants to admit that — for the centuries you saw yourself as following your God, doing what He required of you to save humanity's souls, and wipe out the Devil's witchcraft — that you were the only one doing evil. That your devout faith and countless sacrifices were misplaced, and that your former home has moved on from witch hunts anyway.
No one would want to admit any of that, and in combination with Belos's personal obsession with being a hero, it becomes clear he was never going to admit it. Not even on his deathbed. Because that would be nearly four hundred wasted years on his conscience, four hundred years of following the wrong people, and how could he possibly let himself believe that?

ttrpgs fuck you up
everyone says “try out dnd”, including me but dude believe me, dnd fucks you up, ttrpgs fuck you up
there’s this person in your head and you can only scream about them to the other five idiots with their own little guys in their heads
and sometimes you can’t even scream at them because first you have to reveal the backstory you came up with and you don’t want to do that immediately
ttrpgs fuck you up because they make you daydream about your little guy and what happened with them AND YOU CAN’T STOP THE THOUGHTS
try out dnd (or any other ttrpg), they say… but what they don’t say is that it’s all emotional damage
and the worst part of it is that you enjoy every fucking minute of that emotional damage
ttrpgs fuck you up.

I truly think them making Jaune supposedly from a line of heroes was a mistake. I'll need to see how his family is if they show them in seasons 6-9 but for now what we know doesn't track.
A common trend amoung RWBY characters is the writers almost needing to have them come from somewhere important and it's so strange.
Blake suddenly being the daughter of the man who founded the white fang despite her parents never being mentioned/it almost being implied that she was orphaned or from a low class family. Pyrrha, Weiss, Ruby, and Yang get set up and we know they come from importance. And yes in Volume 1 Jaune does come from somewhere.
But out of the main characters that matter only Ren and Nora really get to escape from any of their family mattering and I don't know if it stays that way in later seasons.
Jaune himself though would very much benefit from just being a nobody from a village where technology was maybe a bit behind the times. He knows nothing about aura or semblances, and if his family had important warriors, they should've had that knowledge to pass down. Not to mention him getting to be leader of JNPR when everything in the show says Pyrrha was simply the better choice. Him sneaking into beacon gets dropped so quickly as a plot point that it doesn't even seem matter.
I dont hate Jaune but his backstory really doesn't work and there are simple fixes they could've taken that unfortunately they didn't.

You literally CANNOT make a toh tlt au because there is no way you can get everything to make sense. The two universes just do not cooperate. BUT Willow and Gus would make such a good cav and necro duo

Fang the hunter issue #2 spoilers
I fucking hate my life
FANG IS SUPPOSED TO BE THE PROTAGONIST, BUT EVERY ISSUE IT GIVES THE VIEWER TO HATE FANG MORE AND MORE
What is this supposed to accomplished! That fang is an asshole and so he's alone in superstars! Is that it!?
Team hooligan was the reason I joined the sonic Fandom! I followed along to see them be funny and have fun but instead I'm just getting depressed with each issue!
This comic has TWO MORE ISSUES LEFT to turn it around!
I get fang is an asshole, I know he's a jerk! But why make a story centered around him, but make everyone hate him!
If I knew wishing him back in would seperate the hooligans, I wouldn't have taken it! I'd rather them be obscured characters but at least they were still together!
This comic isn't helping fang! And of anything it's giving Sega another reason to put him back under lock and key! And this time alone!
You have two chances idw
Dont fuck it up

On the one hand, in Nico’s eyes, Bianca leaves him the first chance she gets.
But Bianca was literally twelve, and had been taking care of her younger brother her entire life, and she was being offered immortality.
And the hunters should have known better than to manipulate a literal child into making an extremely life-altering permanent decision like that. (And it’s weird that most of the hunters are children and teenagers.)
But Artemis knew who Bianca was, and she was protecting her the same way she protects Thalia at the end of the book, the way she can’t protected Percy or Nico. (The gods are extremely willing to straight up kill these kids and I feel like that’s overlooked.)
But why on Earth did they take a child with no fighting ability whatsoever on the quest when there were at least a dozen other hunters with decades of experience?
In conclusion, if you blame Percy for Bianca’s death, I don’t trust you.
Like, it’s fine to validate Nico’s feelings about it, but there was so much more going on and that’s what made it a tragedy.

Randomly remembered the half-reason i call my oc-verse by the name it has while laying in bed. One-half of the reason i still knew, but I had forgotten what had truly, really cemented it jointly until now
(it was a song from my favourite band I haven't listened to in a while.)
(the song fit so well at the time, still does, that i needed to hold onto it for the main protagonists forever, by partially naming their story in reference.)
Does this explanation make any sense? Does anyone know why I'm tearing up remembering this. Aahh

- What's with the hat?
- I don't know. Found it in the science lab. Thought it would help.
Day 11 - The Hunter
Knows the killer’s weakness and the best way to beat them. The Final Girl typically teams up with them to finally nail the killer. Usually, they’re considered the other final character to survive.

S3 E11 Supernatural
Oh this one HURT! I heard the 'I'm the heat of the moment' memes and it's Sam having a groundhog day episode but this stung. The Trickster trying to get Sam to get that he isn't gonna save Dean. They then had Sam live after Dean died giving him a glimpse of what it's gonna be like when he goes to hell. When Dean died Sam became an impressive hunter, he was void of emotion and only set on destroying. I wonder what he gonna be like in s4 when Dean actually goes to hell (cus I don't think thell find a way to get him out of it)
