6. Attitude towards the Qun?

Most of them don't know enough about the Qun to hold a strong opinion, and for the most part, it's based on interactions with specific Qunari:

Ana respects Sten, so she respects the Qunari and their culture.

Alwyn still remembers the Qunari's rampage through Kirkwall so he holds an overall negative opinion of them.

My Adaar girls only know the Qun through their parents who fled from it so their opinion is a bit more nuanced. They know that although there would have been no life for them under the Qun, not everything about it is inherently bad.

15. Preferred weapon of choice?

Apart from Ana who switched to swords (Vigilance, my beloved), my mages favour staves (can't wait for DATV to get more options).

Mahariel and Cousland are bow-and-arrow people.

Tabris dual-wields daggers.

Issala... She just likes to make things go boom ^^

Now that i'm only #3 of the dragon age franchise, I feel I can now post my lineup of "Thedas' Three Dudes"

Warden Arnarel Surana: Dalish elf and circle mage. Healer/necromancer, friendly weirdo, and romancer of Zevran.

Champion Gaius Hawke: Human (obviously) rogue. Fan of poison covered knives. Jokester who's also in love with the apostate who exploded the kirkwall chantry.

Inquisitor Issala Adaar: Qunari/Elf (but qunari on paper) mage. Another "everyone is my friend" guy who can be normally spotted wandering the countryside decimating the nug population with chain lightning. Where his heart will lay is currently undetermined.

And so, with deft hands, she set to work winding the bandages around him.  Her fingertips grazed his skin, tough and scarred. They briefly drifted over the tattoos sprawling from his chest to his back.  He was built, she’d give him that, and none of that phony bullshit some men try to pull off, where it’s all for show.  Nah, he was strong, and she could feel it.

Not that she was feeling him, mind.  Just an observation.

           a long trail of obsidian cloth trickles on the rich-colored carpet behind her like a river of ink.  the figure is tall & alien  —— unearthly.  the stares in which the herald receives from those residing in the court are of confusion, revolt.  unease.  ( has the world ever seen such a creature of inhuman height? ) all of which she graciously ignores.  steps are soft, quiet.  wispy fabrics over boots makes her appear as a 𝙼𝙰𝚂𝚂𝙸𝚅𝙴𝙻𝚈 𝙷𝙾𝚁𝙽𝙴𝙳 wraith gliding down the aisle with translucent & iridescent skin wherever torchlight hits. a slender hand keeps grasp around masterwork witch staff that resembles a sun-bleached skull being consumed by thick, thorny branches it sits atop.  halts just short of the throne’s stairway where this nation’s king resides.  she lowers, tips her regal head.

Kallian Tabris

LI: Alistair Theirin Class and specialization: Rogue Links: tag; fanfictions

Pretty standard DAO playthrough.

Alistair became king with Anora. Tabs stayed with him as his mistress. Their relationship is pretty much an open secret.

Became Bann of Denerim’s Alienage.

Has been looking for a cure to the Blight ever since the end of the Blight.

Gave birth to her first daughter, Adaia, in 9:44. After consideration, Anora agreed to legitimize her and the children that would follow.

Eventually finds the cure to the Blight.

Alistair abdicates the throne in 9:80 and Adaia becomes queen. He and Tabs retire to the countryside where they live happily ever after.

Issala Adaar

LI: Varric Tethras Class and specialization: Rogue

Yougest daughter of two Tal-Vashoth, she has an older sister; Asaara.

The two sisters are very close and picked each other’s names (note: I headcanon that Tal-Vashoth usually let their children choose their own names).

Likes to tinker with explosives.

Standard DA2 Act 1: the Hawke family flees the Blight, Alwyn Hawke goes on the Deep Roads Expedition and returns with riches, Carver becomes a Templar.

The Adaar sisters are in Kirkwall during Act 2 doing their own thing with their own friends and companions.

They end up being the ones to confront the Arishok. Issala fights him and becomes the Champion of Kirkwall, to everyone’s surprise, including hers.

Varric becomes very interested in the sisters’ story and approaches them.

Might choose to side with the Templars during The Last Straw because Asaara has fallen in love with Cullen and fears for his safety. (idk, tbd)

Is terrified of magic and the Fade.

Recruits the Templars.

Cassandra becomes Divine.

Inquisition is turned into a peacekeeping organization.

20. Do any of your OCs sing? If they sing, care to share more details (headcanon voice, what kind of songs they like etc)?

Yesss Yvie, the bard-like mage! She has a soft, melodic voice and usually sings in Orlesian. I've been thinking about what sort of songs she might sing, I am guessing folk songs! Sadly, my only frame of reference for French-language songs is the stuff my mom would listen to, without knowing the language/lyrics, like Mylene Farmer and Joe Dassin.

Oh, and also the Notre Dame de Paris musical soundtrack XD

21. Your most artistic OC

I read this as "your most autistic OC" first, and thought "Man I am not qualified to answer that, as someone likely not at all on the spectrum myself"

But, for example, Jarvi Cadash is both a sculptor and has selective mutism. :') Maaras Adaar loves making and talking about maps, which could qualify as both artistry and a special interest? Saarath Adaar does hand motions through the air when she is happy, leaving pastel-shaded trails of magical light in their wake, as a sort of air-painting stimmy thing?

Generally speaking, a bunch of my OCs dabble in various creative pursuits! Solange Adaar is a fashion designer and plushie maker in her spare time; Jade Cadash is a tattoo artist; Issala Adaar draws to deal with stress; Taashath Adaar knits and crochets, also as a calming strategy; Maedhros Lavellan carves little figurines out of wood.

And obviously, there's Yvie too :D

Oooh, Solange would post process videos of her crafts, and also reblog posts urging parents to support their kids when they come out to them, and maybe AITA posts from clearly asshole men, with witty commentary because her ex is like that.

If your Inquisitors were to meet would they get along?

Absolutely not. The only one that everyone would like would be Issala Adaar, really. My Cadash's would get along like a sack of cats.

Maria Cadash: Spoiled princess who lies through her teeth according to Kenna. Entirely too clever for her own good and has no control of her emotions according to Reese. Bea wishes she'd stop bossing her around.

Bea Cadash: Maria’s little sister who she will either protect at all costs or strangle depending on the day. Kenna and her get along swimmingly and she's seducing Reese post haste.

Kenna Cadash: Volatile and dangerous. Psychotic, possibly. Would definitely not want to be in a dark alley with her. Maria and Reese are in agreement. Bea would be Kenna's drinking and murder buddy in a hearbeat.

Reese Cadash: According to Maria she thinks she's better than everyone else and she can't play cards worth shit. Kenna thinks she's a soft touch. Bea and Reese would definitely sleep together.

Issala is confused and alarmed by all of them.
