Issue 4 of Imposter Syndrome is here, so let’s get right into it!

So Eggman figures out that his base is being attacked, but he also sees that it is in fact not Sonic and Tails who are doing it...

Eggman then calls in Metal Sonic, and him and Surge fight for a bit. However, unfortunately for him...

...he’s a faker!

Eggman also learns that Starline is here too, and he hacks into Eggman’s Eggnet to do THIS...

...so wait a second, that means it wasn’t Eggman who called the badniks to his base in Issue 49, it was actually Starline all along! However, because he used Eggman’s Eggnet and stuff to do it, Belle and the other badniks aren’t able to tell the difference and just assume they’re taking orders from Eggman. 

Also, Eggman manages to escape after his badniks start attacking him, and Starline comes in to claim his new (possibly only temporary) throne.

GET A LOAD OF THIS!

And that’s it for Imposter Syndrome! I don’t think I had quite as much fun reading this one as I did Tangle and Whisper and Bad Guys, but I do still think it was really good and did a really good job setting up for what’s to come in Issue 50. I also really like both Surge and Kit as characters and am definitely interested to see what they end up doing, and we’ll be getting to see their plan come to fruition in Issue 50 as well as possibly continuing after that in the following issues (I’ve heard some people theorize that Kit might actually be faker-ing his way onto Sonic and Tails’ good side in Issue 51 just to double-cross them in that issue, which is possible), so I’m interested to see where that goes too.

While I’ve been doing my comics, the one thing I failed to notice as a comic writer was the issue numbers that were supposed to be on the front covers. As you can see, I have made some changes to the front cover of issue 1 by adding the issue number as well as making the title font more visible to the readers.

In the previous version, the title did not stand out because of the motion blur behind it. I changed it because I noticed the title had blended in with the motion blur which made it look unreadable. So I went ahead to change it by replacing this title font with a new one I made on Photoshop. I also added a different kind of motion blur and turned down the opacity to make it look readable to the readers.

Once I’ve fixed the front cover, I applied what I’ve done to issue 1 to all the over issues I’ve written. Now, my comic series has a more readable title font on the front covers.

Due to the length, I will send it in two segments for this issue and the next.   COUNTY LIBRARY EXPERIENCED PHENOMENAL GROWTH FIRST FIVE YEARS - (The following story was in the November 18, 1953 Keowee Courier. Due to its length, I will send it in two segments for this issue and the next). . .During the five years since the Oconee County Library opened in October 1948, it has experienced phenomenal growth. . .The library began operations in a 15-by-15-foot room in the county office building popularly known as the Rock building, with Mrs. Louise Powell of Walhalla as librarian and Mrs. Flossie Crenshaw of Clemson as her assistant, and 2,000 books available. . .It has since moved into its own building, which was made available rent-free by Chicopee Manufacturing Corporation, and boasts of three branch libraries in Westminster, Salem and Seneca. The number of books available has grown to more than 14,000. . .Soon after the library opened, the county purchased a bookmobile, and this "rolling library" began making trips to 32 communities in all parts of the county. Today, the service has expanded to 37 communities and also 29 rural schools. . .The library now has 2,846 registered borrowers, and this total does not include the numerous children served through the rural school deposits. . .The widespread popularity of the library system is demonstrated by the fact that 80,423 books were checked out by borrowers during the 1952-53 fiscal year, which is nearly two books for every resident of the county!. . .TO BE CONCLUDED NEXT ISSUE

Jottings from Miz Jeannie  by Jeannie Barnwell                     JFK's Wise Words Apply to Individuals and to Nations   Wreaths Across America is a most worthy focus for this month.  Specifically, my goal is to teach the youngsters of Salem Methodist Church to understand and respect our tradition of decorating veterans' 26 graves with magnificent wreaths with stunning red bows.  The children come forward to the altar to learn about patriotism 3 weeks before presenting wreaths.  This week, I am calling upon the wisdom of John Kennedy, 35th president, to make my point. JFK said, "In order for America to be as safe as possible,  we must be as strong and as well prepared as possible"   To  bring this down to the children's level, I will explain, that  just as schools have bullies, the world has countries that are bullies.  I will tell them that if  they walk around looking weak and scared, that the bully may choose to pick on them.  However, if they stand up tall and proud in the company of other confident children, that they will be less likely to be a bully's target.  AND TO CONCLUDE,  to keep America from being attacked--  the country must support having a STRONG MILITARY.  Pray that the children will always remember JFK's message!   Miz Jeannie

Sonic assumes control over the Zim Sonic Bot, and threatens Eggman with a worse version of scalping. Eggman is definitely a horrible person, but Sonic is freakish at points.

Once again, egg related puns that wouldn't make sense until Sonic Adventure. Eggman flies off, threatens to return, Sonic is prepared, and that's pretty much it.

I should also mention that a couple days ago was Free Comic Book Day, and there was a Free Comic Book Day special made for Sonic! I won’t be talking too much about it on here due to a good chunk of it just being a recap of what’s been going in the main series leading up to what’s happening now, but there was also a small story with Sonic and Tails teaming up with Knuckles on Angel Island made exclusively for it, and it overall is still pretty good if you want to check it out.
