i do think there is something wrong with me because i am realising that my reactions to some of the things that luo binghe did because of his love for shen qingqiu seem to be relatively muted compared to others’. like don’t get me wrong, luo binghe definitely did that like he for sure went there but like at the same time i think he’s so fucking valid and maybe if people just stopped judging the kid for being the teensiest bit obsessed and took the time to understand his hangups then they’d see that too

Ice will ONLY drive American-manufactured cars. like even when he travels somewhere and rents one. he will raise a stink about it.
It is a significant point of contention in their relationship & marriage that maverick is only interested in Japanese-manufactured motorcycles. Like they have had, and will continue to have, shouting matches over “why can’t you be a patriot and buy American motorcycles like harleys??!? What is with all the kawasaki and yamaha crap???” and “ice im telling you they just run better!!! the japanese just make better bikes!!!” tongue-in-cheek threats of divorce etc.
i definitely think of ice as less a luxury car and more a classic muscle car guy. back when muscle cars still were delicate and beautiful instead of hard and sharp, if that makes sense. there is a Venn diagram of luxury and muscle cars and he definitely has dabbled in the middle (see my fic’s deepthroating of the 2005 ford GT). But he won’t cross the line. (Won’t be caught dead driving a Porsche or mercedes for instance)
in the final final draft of my fic (ie the draft that will get posted before i call it quits on my top gun phase) the Dream Car is getting changed to a ‘68 Plymouth HEMI roadrunner. camaro is too mainstream i will admit. but see above for my “car preferences” hc.

The main thing about IDW OP that I'm on my hands and knees begging people to understand is to actually treat him like a fucking character and give him the nuanced understanding that this fandom gives to other characters just fine. Like, I s2g the reason no one even talks about IDW OP is because at the first sign of him making mistakes or having a flawed worldview (you know, like a REAL PERSON and not a cartoon caricature) they instantly bail and go "zomg worst Optimus ever".
Like please for fuck's sake IDW1 is a story steeped in realism and moral grayness can you stop for ONE SECOND and realize that IDW OP being a little bit of an asshole or making big mistakes doesn't instantly make him the worst character ever and maybe take the time to actually read his story? #Hi welcome to the context of this scene let's just start immediately:#Okay so#Zane lashed out in Jay's and Nya's face when he found out about Echo and small bits of Skybound#And Zane doesn't talk to them because of it unless it's for their own survival#Jay and Nya can't look Zane in the eye or even be neat him#They immediately glance away#This goes on for 8 whole days#During which Echo dies#And Zane starts blaming himself for it even tho he couldn't do anything#(even tho he couldn't do anything but old brothers am I right?)#And by this point Zane isn't even mad at Jay and Nya anymore#He's had time to think about *why* they even hid Echo from him#And after he listened in on them explaining the events of Skybound to everyone else while he was busy repairing Echo (before he died)#He suddenly started feeling horrible about himself#He couldn't bring himself to blame Jay and Nya or be mad at them#Because they tried to just forget about Nadakhan and run away from those memories#Something he's all too familiar with#Last time he tried to forget and runaway from trauma#It resulted in the events of Ninjago:Decoded#In which he locked the memory of his death so well#That it evolved to become the Digital Overlord virus again#And it almost cost him his life#But Jay and Nya were there for every step of the way until he regained proper control over himself#And he feels especially bad because Jay and Nya don't have the excuse of being a nindroid#So yeah that's it#ninjago#zane julien#jay walker#nya smith#Chapter 1 of TSP:Hunted is almost done and I can't wait to finish it (currently sitting at 9.7K words and breaking 10K is a guarantee lol)

every day i wake up abd i see your yakuza posts and its like a daily occurrence
the sun is shining so nicely today :) and i open my phone is the furst thing i see is “i wish kiryu would let me suck him” abd i feel fulfilled
