Fall Into Me - Chapter Six: And I Knew My Heart Wasn't Mine
dbf!Joel x f!reader
Tumblr media
Summary: Joel is hanging on by a thread as a single father to a tenacious 10-year-old Sarah. Feeling like he's drowning, like the world is about to spit him out, he needs some help before he breaks in half. At your dad's insistence, you show up in his life and change everything.
Story is inspired by the song Fall Into Me by Forest Blakk. Chapter titles will be lyrics from the song.
Word Count: 3.8k
Chapter Warnings: Explicit, under 18 take a hike. No outbreak AU. Lots of feelings, confusion, and self doubt. Two idiots falling in love. Finally some smut-ish stuff. Dry humping on the couch. Chapter Five | Main Masterlist
Sitting at the kitchen table on Sunday morning, you reviewed an email on your phone from the Texas Education Agency. Relief washed over you. The State Board finally approved your certification after jumping through a million hoops, just in time for your upcoming meeting at Sarah’s school.
Yet another step closer to finally feeling like an actual adult contributing to society.
“Morning, Spud,” your dad greeted as he walked into the kitchen in search of his morning coffee. “You’re up early. Did you have fun with Sarah yesterday?”
“I figured I’d seize the day and all that. I had a blast yesterday! Sarah is so smart, and Joel was really nice, as always,” you replied, playing down quite how much of a roll Joel had in making the day so enjoyable. You still couldn’t believe how things worked out.
Joel Miller, dead sexy single father, liked you, wanted to be with you. Little morsels of doubt tried to weasel their way into your mind, trying to make you question what was so special about you that a man like Joel would be interested in. You shook those thoughts away, resolving to believe that you deserved someone like him, someone who liked you for who you were and not who they wanted you to be.
“He comes from good stock, that Joel,” your dad interrupted you’re wandering thoughts. “Not sure what happened with Tommy, though. Musta been dropped on his head as a baby or somethin’.”
“Dad!” you laughed, shaking your head. “There’s nothing wrong with the guy. He’s young, single, and unburdened by responsibility. I imagine you were like that once upon a time.”
“Musta been so long ago I can’t remember,” he replied, hip checking you into the counter when you stood to place your glass in the sink. “Watch yourself there, Spud.”
“Jeez, thanks, Dad,” you replied with an amused eye roll. Your dad watched as you tidied up your little mess from breakfast and grabbed a bottle of water from the fridge.
“You know, Spud. You’d do well to find a man like Joel. He’s a really good guy. Shame he doesn’t date. All the women go crazy over him.”
Your dad kept going on about Joel’s aversion to dating, but your mind froze on that one simple statement – you’d do well to find a man like Joel. You tuned back in just in time to hear him say, “He needs to settle down with a girl like you. Someone smart and responsible who’ll still give him a run for his money.”
Practically bursting with the urge to admit that you and Joel just officially started seeing each other, you curled your lips between your teeth and just nodded. You promised Joel you’d wait a bit before mentioning anything to your dad and you planned on keeping that promise. “He should be so lucky to find someone like me,” you sassed finally.
The day carried on as you spent some quality time with your dad watching TV and lounging around. It was refreshing and relaxing, reminding you of times past where the two of you spent a bunch of time together.
Tumblr media
The urge to text you plagued Joel all day Sunday, distracting his attention from the football game until Tommy finally snatched the phone out of his hands and hid it.
“Enough, brother. You’re like a lovesick fool checking your phone every five fuckin’ seconds. You just spent the day together yesterday. Give her a little breathin’ room,” Tommy chastised. “Women like a little mystery after all.”
Flopping back into the couch cushions with a huff, Joel crossed his arms in front of his chest. “I don’t want to play games with her, Tommy. None of that aloof, hard to get bullshit.”
Shaking his head, Tommy waited until a commercial break to turn to his brother again. “I’m not sayin’ to play games. I’m just sayin’ you don’t need to be up her ass 24/7. You’ll see her every day this week. It’s ok to build up a little healthy anticipation today.”
Joel knew his brother had a point. He just couldn’t help himself. It’d been so long since he felt like this about someone – if he ever really did before – and it was messing with his head. Berating himself for not even kissing you yesterday, Joel wanted to at least text with you today. It felt somehow wrong to not talk to you.
Then again, you hadn’t texted him either.
Tommy made a valiant effort to distract Joel from his thoughts, talking statistics about the game and the players, anything to get the guy talking. It only worked for so long before Tommy couldn’t take it anymore.
“Alright, how ‘bout this. I’ll take Sarah for a dinner and ice cream date tomorrow so you two can spend some time alone. Get a little action in and maybe that’ll help you get your head out of the clouds.”
For the first time in hours, Joel’s face lit up. “You sure?”
“I wouldn’t offer otherwise,” Tommy replied. “You two need to figure out if there’s something there and you can’t do that with a ten-year-old hanging around all the time. Not unless you want to scar her for life.”
Joel nodded, reaching out to take his phone back. Before letting go of it, Tommy grinned. “I already texted her for you. You’re welcome.”
Ripping his phone out of his brother’s hand, Joel scrolled through his text messages to find what Tommy sent you.
JM: Hey sweetheart. Netflix and chill tomorrow?
He only knew what that meant because of Tommy and you had to know that wasn’t something Joel would say. “Jesus fucking Christ, Tommy!” Joel growled, his ears turning red from what you must think. He was about to really lay into his brother for overstepping when you responded.
You: Netflix and chill, huh? Sounds like my kinda date 😉
Not expecting that response, Joel chuckled. Maybe Tommy knew exactly what he was doing after all.
“Like I said, you’re welcome,” Tommy teased when he saw the goofy smile on his brother’s face.
Joel ignored him, proceeding to ask you about your day. The two of you texted back and forth well into the night until it was time for bed.
Climbing between the cold sheets of his large, empty bed, Joel wished you were there with him. He could already imagine you there, falling asleep together after a romp or two, waking up next to you in the morning. It sounded like heaven to him.
Hmm, maybe he could Netflix and chill his way to convincing you to spend the night tomorrow.
Tumblr media
You didn’t know what to expect when you walked into Joel’s house Monday morning, but it certainly wasn’t a flustered Joel, knelt on the floor, staring down at a mess of pancake mix surrounding him and Sarah giggling her little heart out at the breakfast table.
“What happened here?” you asked, hands on your hips and eyes surveying the damage. “Did you have a fight with the boxed pancake mix.”
“He really did!” Sarah exclaimed, still laughing. “It went everywhere!”
“I see that,” you replied, grinning at her before turning back to Joel.
He stared up at you with wide, sad eyes and shoulders slumped. “I couldn’t get it open and then it just…” His arms spread wide, gesturing at the powdery mess on the tile in such an endearing way. You couldn’t stop your smile from growing wider.
“Go finish getting ready for work. I’ll get Sarah some cereal and clean this mess up,” you directed, gently pulling him to his feet and around the mess.
“You shouldn’t have to clean up my mess, sweetheart,” Joel replied, pulling you in for a hug. You could tell the warm press of your bodies together made him feel better and you basked in it as well, not minding the bit of pancake mix that transferred to your clothes.
“Don’t worry, I got it. Now git!” One hand swatted at his ass playfully as he rushed out of the room. “Now, what kind of cereal do you want, nugget?”
Fifteen minutes later, Joel returned to find the mess gone and you running a mop over the tile to wipe away any last remnants of the pancake mix disaster. Sarah already finished her cereal and was upstairs brushing her teeth before it was time to head to school. When you put the mop back into the bucket, Joel crept up behind you, wrapping his arms around your waist. He pulled you close until your back was flush against his chest.
“Thank you, sweetheart,” he breathed in your ear, sending a flood of goosebumps down your arms. Joel pressed his lips to the spot just below your ear and left a trail of kisses down your neck. The feel of his lips on your skin exceeded any expectations you had, and a contented sigh left your own lips.
With a hurried tenderness, he spun you around in his arms, the mop forgotten as it nearly fell out of the bucket. Faces close together now, your eyes drank in every detail of him from the richness of his dark brown eyes, the curve of his nose, the purposeful stubble of his beard, and, finally, to the fullness of his bottom lip. You could feel his eyes doing the same, drinking in every bit of your face before tilting his head impossibly closer.
“I’m going to kiss you now, ok?” Joel murmured; lips nearly pressed to yours already and you hummed in approval.
After all the weeks of mutual pining and self-doubt, Joel finally kissed you. It started as a soft press of lips and quickly morphed into an overwhelming need to devour each other when his tongue teased along the seam of your lips, begging entry to deepen the kiss. Teeth knocked together and tongues tangled as you tasted each other – somehow, the taste of coffee was suddenly appealing when it came from Joel’s mouth.
Hands wandered – his over your curves and yours into his luscious, dark curls. Joel’s hair felt as silky as it looked, and you had been itching to get your fingers in it from the moment you met him.
The sound of Sarah’s footsteps bouncing down the stairs broke the two of you apart, breathless, and dazed.
“Wow,” Joel murmured, struggling to remove his hands from your waist.
You smiled up at him, equally unwilling to remove your fingers from his hair. “Exactly,” you whispered, stepping back with your hands at your side just as Sarah entered the kitchen.
“I’m ready!” she declared excitedly and you both grinned at her cuteness.
“Okay, nugget. Let’s head out.”
Heart melting in your chest, you watched Joel and Sarah do their morning routine of saying goodbye. The love between the two of them was so strong it was like a tangible thing you could hold in your hands. Nostalgia washed over you as memories of your own childhood, moments like this with your dad, flooded your mind. What you had with your dad, what Joel and Sarah had together, was a connection that would never fade, only grow stronger with time.
Briefly, you wondered if your evolving relationship with Joel would affect that connection, interfere with it in anyway. You couldn’t move forward with him if that was the case. Some woman showing up and changing the dynamic between you and your dad would have upset you as a child and you refused to be the cause of any upset Sarah felt.
When the two of them stepped back from their hug and grinned at you, any question about your place in their dynamic washed down the drain. You felt nearly dizzy with relief when Sarah quickly said, “Give her a hug, too, Daddy,” and shoved him as hard as she could in your direction.
With a chuckle, Joel gave in to Sarah’s demand, wrapping his arms around you. The broadness of him surrounded you, enveloping you in warmth and a sense of security you’d not experienced before. Was that what love felt like?
“Have a good day, darlin’. I’ll see you later,” Joel’s deep voice was but a whisper in your ear, his lips just grazing your earlobe. “I’m looking forward to tonight.”
Warmth raced up your neck to your cheeks and you squeezed your thighs together in anticipation of what you hoped would happen later. “You have a good day too, Joel. Be careful, ok?”
“Always, darlin’.” He winked as you led Sarah out the front door to your car.
The journey to Sarah’s school started off quietly, Sarah bopping along to the music on the radio as you navigated the morning traffic. Your thoughts wandered to what you should wear later when Sarah startled you with a sudden question.
“Are you my dad’s girlfriend now?”
She asked the question so nonchalantly that you weren’t sure how to respond. Would she be upset with whatever answer you gave? Was there even a right or wrong answer? What did she want to hear? Mind racing, you settled on asking Sarah a question in return.
“Would you be upset if I was?”
Tilting her head side to side a few times, the little girl contemplated her answer while you held your breath. She turned to you with a smile so big it scrunched up her nose. “Nope! It’d make me really happy.”
“Really?” Your eyebrows were nearly at your hairline.
“Uh huh. You’re the coolest and prettiest. My dad would be lucky if you were his girlfriend,” Sarah admitted with all the confidence and knowledge of a ten-year-old. Another head tilt and she added, “So, are you?”
Equal parts amazed and grateful for Sarah’s acceptance of the idea, you opted for honesty. “I mean, I don’t know,” you shrugged. How could you explain what you had to a 10-year-old? “We haven’t talked about naming it yet, but we did decide to see how we like being together. Does that make sense?”
Sarah gave it a moment of thought. “Yeah, I think so. It’s kinda like how you’re a teacher, but not officially until you get the job, right?”
You laughed at the comparison with a nod. “Exactly. I’m as good as your dad’s girlfriend, we just haven’t made titles official yet.” You pulled up in front of the school and it was Sarah’s turn to get out. “Now get going, nugget. Have a good day!”
The little girl bounced out of the car, calling out to one of her friends. Just before you pulled away, you heard Sarah tell the other girl that you were her dad’s not-yet girlfriend.
Tumblr media
The day absolutely dragged. Joel could swear that time went backwards every time he looked at a clock. It didn’t help that every single subcontractor gave him a hard time about something today.
The roof trusses arrived six weeks early and the sub refused to take them back even though the damn things would rot before they got to the roofing phase of construction. The company he rented the extra backhoe from wanted to raise their rates in the middle of his contract. The list went on and Joel ran out of patience three hours ago.
The only thing holding him together was the thought of you. Spending time with you. Kissing you. Touching you. Burying himself inside you… He adjusted himself with a sigh. Damn, he needed to put those particular thoughts on ice before he got himself riled up. The workday was shitty enough, he didn’t need the guys giving him a hard time about an untimely chub in his pants.
Finally, Joel had enough of everyone’s bullshit and called it a day, leaving his foreman in charge of the worksite.
“Off to doll yourself up, are ya?” Tommy teased as Joel headed for his truck. Gesturing in the general direction of Joel’s crotch, he added, “You remember how to use that thing? Make sure to clear out the cobwebs and use protection!”
“Jesus, Tommy,” Joel grumbled, climbing into his truck, and driving off. He knew his brother was only teasing, but Joel was nervous enough as it was. He didn’t need Tommy getting in his head. He did have a point about protection, though.
A quick stop at the convenience store to grab a box of condoms, Joel made it home before you and Sarah. Putting on some 90s rock, he jumped in the shower, putting in the extra effort to tidy himself up down there. He wondered if you preferred pubic hair or not. Fearing he was getting way ahead of himself, Joel opted to just trim his down and hoped for the best.
By the time he finished trimming his facial hair and tousling his curls, you and Sarah were downstairs, working on her homework. As he walked down the stairs, Joel could hear you encouraging his daughter to think the questions through and congratulating her when she got the answers right. His heart grew three sizes watching how you were with Sarah. You held his whole world in the palm of your hand and treasured it like the precious cargo it was.
Joel was falling so hard for you. You were quickly gaining the power to destroy him.
“Hi Daddy!” Sarah called out when she spotted him in the doorway. “We just finished my math homework. Can I play in the backyard?”
He set up a tire swing on the large live oak out back a week ago and it quickly became his little girl’s happy place. “Of course, nugget. Come give your old man a hug first.” Bending down, Joel swept Sarah up in his arms, biceps stretching his shirt sleeves as he swung her around in a circle. Sarah’s laughter echoed through the room, and you smiled sweetly at the pair of them.
“Uncle Tommy’s coming to take you out for dinner and ice cream in a bit. Ok?” Sarah nodded when he settled her back on her feet and raced for the sliding door. Once she was out of sight and earshot, Joel turned to you. “Come ‘ere, darlin’,” he said, voice deep and velvety.
Your body followed his command without conscious thought, so great the need to be in his arms. “I thought about you all day,” you admitted, staring up at him with wide eyes.
“Me, too. Could hardly focus on the job thinking about you and spending this evening together.” He tightened his arms around you, head bending to seal his lips to yours. When your lips parted at his prompting, Joel teased your plush bottom lip with his teeth. “It’s like a tasty little gummy worm,” he teased. “I could nibble on it all day.”
You moaned into his mouth, the little breathless sound music to his ears.
The kiss deepened until you were licking into each other’s mouths, hands wandering and grasping for purchase on any piece of real estate you could reach. Neither of you heard the front door open or the footsteps approaching the kitchen.
“Am I interrupting somethin’?” he asked cheekily as the two of you sprang apart, disheveled and gasping for breath.
Joel ran a hand down his face, closing his eyes for a moment to gather himself. “Excellent timing as always, brother.”
“Y’all just couldn’t wait five more minutes, could ya?” Tommy’s grin a mile wide as he teased. “Lemme get the nugget out of here before you two scar her for life.”
You tucked your face into Joel’s shoulder bashfully when Tommy slipped through the sliding door. Joel groaned and wrapped his arms around you. “Don’t mind him, darlin’. He just likes to bust my balls.”
Ten minutes later, after some hugs from Sarah and more teasing from Tommy, you and Joel were alone. Taking your hand, he led you to the couch. He hoped you didn’t notice that his rough palms were sweaty with nerves. You were abnormally quiet, and he wondered if you were nervous as well.
Seated a few inches apart, the tension became too much. “What are you in the mood for?” Joel asked, breaking the silence as he pulled up Netflix on the TV. He barely logged into his account when you suddenly straddled his lap.
“Hi,” you said when he stared at you in surprise. “You know what I’m in the mood for?”
“What?” He barely got his mouth to form the word, his brain short circuiting with you in his lap. His grip on the remote loosened, yet neither of you cared when it fell to the ground.
“You.”
There was a moment where you both froze, each waiting for the other to act first. Then the tension snapped, and Joel’s lips crashed against yours. His tongue danced along the seam of your lips until you opened them to let him in. Tongues tangled in a never-ending dance as your hips tilted, grinding down on him. Joel was uncomfortably hard in moments, pressing up against your warmth.
His hands were everywhere, fingers tenderly tracing the structure of your cheekbones, down the curve of your neck, along the swell of your breasts. They finally settled, grabbing handfuls of your ass to pull you impossibly closer. You moaned into his mouth, hips bucking in search of more friction.
Gasping for breath, Joel tore his mouth from yours, his hands urging your hips into a rhythm as you dry humped him. His mouth left a trail of scorching kisses down your neck, eliciting a wave of goosebumps to flow down your arms. Your hips rocked, gliding across his hardened length and Joel swore he could feel your wetness breaching through the layer of clothes separating you.
Fuck, how he wanted to taste you, get high on your sweet nectar. He knew, just knew in that primal way, that yours would be the best pussy he ever tasted. His cock swelled impossibly harder at the mere thought of burying his face between your legs.
“Jooooeeelllll.” His name coming from your luscious lips in a drawn-out moan caused his own hips to buck up into you, hitting just the right spot to make you both see stars from the friction alone. His mouth sucked little marks into your neck, leaving his left ear exposed to your mouth as crooned, “I’m gonna come, fuck. You’re gonna make me come in my panties, Joel.”
“Fuck, darlin’. Come all over me, pretty girl. I want to see you fall apart from grinding on me like this. Drench those panties.” Joel sat back a little, just enough to watch your face as your orgasm swept over you. It was the most beautiful sight he’d ever seen, eyes rolled back in your head, mouth hanging open in a silent ‘o’ as you trembled above him, delicate hands clenching the meat of his shoulders for balance. A little sheen of sweat dusted your hairline. Fucking beautiful.
Joel was absolutely certain he could feel you drenching his pants as you came, your breath finally coming back in a sharp exhale. He had never been so turned on in his life. Watching you come apart for him, feeling it seep through the layers of clothing became too much. For the first time in his adult life, Joel Miller came in his pants with a desperate whimper.

Tumblr media
Your back aches as you sit up from the bed, stretching out your aching muscles. you definitely slept wrong. you look at your phone and see that it’s 8:34 and you groan.
you hated waking up early, even if it was 8. so you get up (unfortunately) and go to your bathroom to start getting ready. You brush your teeth and fix your hair in a way so you can wash your face
You quickly finish your morning routine and go to your walk in closet and find something cute to wear, putting on your favorite smell.
your phone lights up with a text from connie and you’re quick to go grab it to talk a lil shit. i mean he was trying to take you out today right? might aswell give him a taste of the attitude he’s gonna have to deal with!
Tumblr media
you decide to try and get a little information out of him about whatever he’s gonna try and have you doing.
you truly feel like he flaked on the shopping thing, you knew you were spoiled and were just fine with that. but you were shocked with his answer!
Tumblr media
a little part inside of you tingles as you read that text imagining him saying it in his voice and you have to snap yourself out of your daze to reply to his text.
you tell him how he’ll just have to keep reminding you and he hearts the text. you go downstairs to see your caterer setting your plate and you thank her.
you scroll on your phone as you eat the breakfast prepared for you and your fathers comes out of his room all suited up ready to go.
“hi my little flower.” he says as he comes and kisses your forehead “hey da how did you sleep?” “not much sleep i had work to finish up on, where are you going today?”
you blush thinking about having to tell your father you’re going on a date with a man you only met last night. “i’m goin on a date da” “hm. with who?”
your father goes on to ask many questions about the person you’re going on a date with while you get an incoming call from none other than connie himself.
“hold on daddy” you mumble as you quickly get up giving him a kiss on his cheek as you walk into the livingroom to take your call.
“hi constance, what’s up”
“damn ma. you don’t listen to me at all, but what’s ya address so i can come pick you up?”
“oh i live at {address} “
“mmm you live in a fancy neighborhood? spoiled princess aren’t you.”
“mhmmm that’s why i said you wouldn’t be able to handle taking me out.”
“we’ll see mama. come outside im here.”
he hangs up and you go up to your dad telling him how you’re about to leave and your date is outside, he gets up mumbling abt wanting to meet the young man taking his baby out.
you open the door to see connie standing there with a money bouquet, a regular bouquet and a gift bag. your jaw drops a little and he just smiles.
“is this all for me?” you look at him and he smirks “nah it’s all for yer dad.” he says words dripping with sarcasm and your father laughs. “oh i like him already, listen just treat my little girl right. she’s all i’ve got.” your father says reaching out a hand.
connie hands over your gifts and shakes your father hand and they both smile. “cmon pretty.” he grabs your hand and opens up the trunk for you to put the gifts in. he opens your door and waits for you to be fully in before he closes the door, waving at your father.
he gets in and his phone automatically connects to the car and frank ocean is playing lowly as you feel the beat slightly, he smiles at you and before he can say anything you’re interrupting “thank you so much for the gifts” you say smiling.
he pulls off and looks at you “there’s more of that today, you’re welcome tho mama” he drives with one hand after turning the music up so you decide to pull out your phone and scroll.
you feel his hand grip your thigh as he drives and you get butterflies but try not to let him see it effects you, ur supposed to be hard to get.
it’s easy to ignore him until his thumb start stroking your inner thigh and you damn near lose your mind. “con.” you try to say sternly while looking at him “oh so now im con?” he grumbles looking over at you. he thinks you’re just so cute trying to be all mad at him. he sees right through that facade you’re trying to hard to put up.
he pulls into the parking lot of the mall and you get excited deciding to mess with him “you sure you can handle this? i won’t get mad if you back out now” you say smirking at him.
he grabs your neck pulling you close to him over the center console and whispers in your ear “i’m sure. are you sure you can handle this though?” and you have to sit silently as your heart races you can’t decide what you want to say to him “hmm mama? no answer, that’s what i thought.”
he gets out and comes to open your door and opens it, giving a hand for you to grab and you do. nobodies ever really silenced you like that and he only truly got lucky you couldn’t find a comeback.
you hold hands as he walks you into the mall and he looks at you, “where to first?” “i think ill go to coach and look to see what their new collection is looking like” he shrugs and mumbles lead the way.
you hate walking in heels, you know that once u start being in them for a long time that it hurts so you don’t know why on earth you wore these damn heels. tryna be cute gon have ya legs fucked up and you know it.
you find some cute bags and ask him if this is okay and he just gestures towards the cash register, the woman looks at you and him and is quick to pop out with a quick remark “quite the expensive bags you’ve got here, do you want to put one or two back?” you look at the 2 big purses, 3 mini purses, and 4 wallets and you look up at connie to whisper something to him “actually i really want that purse and wallet set over there, do i have to put something back?” he looks over and walks away to grab it and you smile like a kid in the candy store when he says “this too” and the lady is extremely surprised.
“your total is $4,130.56, will you be paying cash or card?” connie looks up from his wallet shocked and u smirk feeling like you were correct and he says “wow, you said it was expensive.” as he hands the woman his card.
she bags all of your stuff and connie grabs the bag and you hand as you guys walk out of the shop. this goes on thru the day as you get stuff that you really want and he doesn’t even hesitate, whether it was with cash or his card.
At this point you’ve been walking for hours and connie has and arm full of bags. your feet are in so much pain and you think you might cry. connie has clearly proved himself today and you feel like you can be a little vulnerable with him.
all it took for him to stop walking was you to lightly tap him and mumble ‘con’ and he’s already looking at you and he can see the pain on your face “princess what’s wrong?” he’s quick to come to your aid as he puts you and the bags on the nearby bench.
his hand cups your face and you look away mumbling. connie grabs your face softly and says “i’m over here mami, speak up please.” “my feet hurt…” you bite your lip out of nervousness and connie grabs your shoes off your feet and puts them in a bag.
“do you wanna be done today or do you wanna keep shopping?” “m’ all done con” he shrugs and puts you over his shoulder, you guys were already near your exit so he just walks you out to his car and sets you inside so he can put the bags in the trunk.
connie gets in and looks over at you as you play with your hands in your lap “i don’t know why you didn’t tell me sooner, we could’ve bought you some shoes so you could switch.” and you can’t help but laugh.
“connie you’re actually so sweet” you say while smiling as you reach over to stroke his face, his lips are such a nice shade of pink, with that little mustache and a lil beard growing in, god he looks so good.
connie’s looking at your glossed lips and thinks about how gorgeous you are, both of you leaning in for a kiss. the kiss was nice at first, small pecks back to back, but then it became a make out.
both of you wanting more leverage over the other so it was very heated, you slide over the console to sit in connie’s lap and you feel him graze you under your skirt and safety shorts.
you whine when he catches you off guard, nibbling on your lip and he lets go “not now mama, not here.” and he’s setting you back over in your seat. you pout because why did he do that to you? give you such a nice kiss to not give you what you want in the end.
“what you wanna eat?” he looks over at you as he starts to drive ‘you’ you think to yourself as you think of something you could possibly be craving, i want (f/f) (it can be a place or just a regular food, whatever yall want)
once you guys get there you opt against going inside cause you’re just ready to be in bed. he tells the person what you want and he orders something simple for himself aswell.
h hands you your bag of food and you thank him, he looks over at you and smiles. “you will always get what you want with me mama” and he rubs your thigh.
you know that it’s only been 2 days and you’re probably moving very fast but he’s just so…charming? it’s just something about him that makes him so trusting but still he is a man.
“thank you, you know um…for today connie. even though i still think that you can’t handle me, it can’t hurt to give you a chance.” and he actually begins to chuckle because what did you just say?
“so you still don’t think i’m doing good enough for you mama?” he says grabbing you face making you look at him as he smiles, why did he have to look so fine rn?
“cmere mama.” connie pulls you close and you comply. you can’t help but stare at his lips and you too gravitate closer as if you were magnets of opposite ends.
you pull eachother close once your lips clash and it’s unholy the way you two are making out. his presence is so dominating and overpowering you can feel the pool in your panties and you begging rubbing on his torso when you start heavy breathing.
before anything can really even happen connie pull away and starts the car back up. “un un mama not here.” and your stomach sinks, did you do something wrong?? was he just playing and didn’t actually wanna take it far?
rejection was one of the many things your spoiled lil self couldn’t take, so since he hurt your feelings, it was only logical to you that you hurt his back, right?
you stare out the window with tears brimming your eyes from sadness and anger, too confused to know how to feel. why would he kiss you like that just to say not here?
while you brew in your emotions connie constantly looks over at you, watching you go through whatever you’re going through. he didn’t mean to upset you but he wanted it to be different. not in his car in a fast food parking lot.
you guys pull to a stop at a fresh yellow light and connie’s the first to speak. “mama i’m so-”
“ion want no apology from you constance. save that shit for somebody else, i knew you was too pussy to handle-” you couldn’t even finish your sentence before connie’s grabbing you but your neck pulling you into a kiss.
his other hand traveling down towards your pussy, his rubs on your thighs before pulling away to look at you “what baby, cat got your tongue? where’s all that sass you just had?”
the light turns green and connie starts driving towards his house and you clearly still have an attitude, that’s fine tho. connie knows how to handle that.

omg can you write charles reaction to baby leclerc first kindergarten boyfriend and how jealous he would be 🥹🥹
no boys allowed | charles leclerc
in honor of my birthday, here’s one more baby leclerc fic <3
Ruby woke up ten minutes earlier than she should’ve. It was a new school day and she was more excited than ever. While her mom slept peacefully, Ruby was in her bathroom trying to untangle her hair, but each time she would end up with a knot in it. She gave up and ran to her mom and dad’s room with a brush stuck in her hair.
“Mama, I need help. Mama, wake up.” Ruby poked Y/n’s cheek repeatedly until her eyes fluttered open.
“Baby, what? What’s wrong?” Y/n rubbed her tired eyes. She then saw the mess on Ruby’s head. “Oh, baby girl.”
Y/n was alone with the kids since Charles was coming back from Italy for his home race. Mathéo slept in his nursery. Y/n got out of bed and took Ruby to her bathroom to fix the tangled hair.
“Why did you do this, Ruby?” The mother asked.
“Because I want to look pretty for my boyfriend!”
Y/n choked on her own saliva when she heard Ruby mention the word ‘boyfriend’. “When did this happen, Rubes? Does papa know?”
Of course Charles didn’t know. If he did, he would immediately change Ruby to a different school. Even if it was a pretend boyfriend, Ruby was still too young to be thinking about boys in his eyes. Thank god Charles wasn’t home.
“Yesterday he told me he loves me. Papa doesn’t know . . Yet! Can I tell him?” Ruby jumped up and down, eager to tell her papa about her love life.
“Not right now, baby. He’s working. But you can tell me all about him. What’s his name?” Y/n asked as she continued to brush through Ruby’s hair.
“His name is Ben and we’re getting married! Can you be my flower girl, mama? And uncle arthur can give us a ring.” Ruby said. “I want uncle pierre and kika to be at my wedding. I love Kika.”
Y/n chuckled. Ruby reminded Y/n of a younger version of herself, planning out her dream wedding, not having a single stressful moment. Y/n wished her Ruby would stay little forever.
“Okay, all done. Go get dressed, I have to get your brother ready.” Y/n pressed a kiss to the top of Ruby’s head and watched as the little girl ran off to her room. Before Y/n walked to Mathéo’s nursery, she grabbed her phone and texted Charles.
Y/n
Good morning my love. I’m going to take Ruby to school and when you get home, I have news to tell you. It’s important.
Charles
Good morning mon amour❤️ tell Ruby I love her and I miss her. Are you not going to give me a hint? I can’t wait that long
Y/n
Well it’s about our daughter. That’s all I’m telling you.
Charles
You’re an evil woman
I love you ❤️
Y/n
Love you more 🥰
She left her phone on her nightstand and walked to Mathéo’s room where he was not laying awake staring at the ceiling. “Good morning my little boy. Let’s get you ready for the day.”
After both kids were dressed, the Leclerc family was on their way to school. Ruby kept telling her mother about Ben and how good he was at drawing, counting from 1 to 100 and apparently he knew about f1 because of his dad. The school wasn’t that far away from their home so they walked.
“When is papa coming home?” Ruby asked.
“He should be here tomorrow or maybe even today.” Replied Y/n. Mathéo squealed from his spot in his stroller. “You’re exiting to see papa, Théo? He misses you too.”
“I can tell him about Ben! Can Ben come to the race with us? Please mama!” Ruby stopped walking to face her mother.
“I don’t know, Ruby. We have to talk to his parents first.”
When Ruby got to school, she refused to set foot into the classroom until Ben arrived. Five minutes later, a little boy with a Ferrari cap on ran towards Ruby and hugged her.
“Ben! Don’t run! You’ve tripped enough already!” A woman about Y/n’s age scolded the boy.
“Mama! He’s Ben, my boyfriend!” Ruby yelled as Ben put his arm around her shoulder.
“Nice to meet you Ben. I’m Ruby’s mom.” Y/n said to the little boy.
“So I guess we’re in laws?” Ben’s mom laughed. “I’m Clara, Ben’s mom. I’ve heard so many things about your little girl. Were you invited to their ‘wedding’?” Clara asked.
Y/n nodded. “You’re looking at the flower girl.” She joked.
“I’m jealous, Ben told me I have to pay for the whole thing!”
Tumblr media
After school, Pascale, Lorenzo and Arthur would always arrive at Y/n and Charles’ house just to spend time together. Ruby absolutely loved it. This time, Charles joined since he had taken an early flight from Italy so when he got home, he found Ruby and Arthur doing some crafts on the kitchen table while Pascale, Y/n and Lorenzo were with Baby Mathéo in the living room.
“Papa!” Ruby threw her crayon on the table and ran to Charles.
Charles let his suitcase fall to the ground. He wrapped his arms around Ruby and picked her up, spinning her a couple time as she laughed. “You didn’t cause any trouble, did you?” He kissed her cheek.
“No! I’m a very good girl. Ask mama and Théo!” Ruby giggled.
“Okay, I’ll ask them right now.” Charles set her down and turned his attention to the rest of his family. “How was my boy while I was gone? Was Ruby good?” He sat next to Y/n on the sofa.
“He didn’t cry at night often, but he did miss his papa a lot.” Y/n passed the baby to Charles. “And yes, she was an angel.”
“Just him and Ruby missed me?” Charles teased.
“I missed you!” Arthur spoke from the kitchen table.
“Anyone else missed me? Anybody?” Charles looked around, ignoring Arthur. “I’m kidding, I missed all of you.”
“Oh! The news! Ruby, want to tell papa now?” Y/n prepared herself for Charles’ reaction. Everyone did.
“What news, Ruby?”
“I have a boyfriend!”
“Mon amour, grab Théo please.”
Y/n took the baby from Charles’ arms and watched his confused face.
“Baby, you can’t have a boyfriend.” Charles said to Ruby. “You’re too young and he is too.”
“But I already made him a card! Uncle Arthur is helping me!” Ruby pointed at Arthur, who immediately dropped the marker from his hands and froze.
“Arthur! Why are you helping my daughter make a card for a boy?!”
“She didn’t tell me it was for her boyfriend.” Arthur defended himself.
“Yes I did. I said ‘uncle arthur can you help me make a card for my boyfriend?’ and you said yes.” Ruby innocently said.
“I thought she was joking.”
Charles shook his head. He knew it wasn’t a real relationship but he still didn’t like the idea of his little girl already thinking about boys and relationships.
“And you haven’t even heard the best part yet. They’re getting married.” Lorenzo added followed by a loud laugh.
“No one is getting married!” Charles announced.
“So you and mama aren’t getting married?” Ruby asked.
“We are married, baby.” Y/n said confused.
“But Ben’s parents got married two times. He told me.”
“So his name is Ben. Where does he live?” Charles asked and before Ruby could answer, Pascale hit his arm. “Maman! This Ben can’t date my daughter!”
“They’re kids, Charles.” Pascale said, bringing in her granddaughter for a hug.
“You’re telling me you’ve never had a girlfriend when you were a little kid?” Y/n asked Charles. Not that he could remember, no he never did that.
“And you had a boyfriend when you were little?” Charles rolled his eyes, and watched Y/n stay silent. “No, someone was your boyfriend before me?!”
“This isn’t about me, now excuse me I have to practice my flower girl skills before the big wedding.”

JJ got over his admittedly smug satisfaction of getting you to himself for the rest of the night when he woke up in the morning.
As he stretched out in the chair, sleep slipping away as he extended his sore limbs, he recalled how he got there in the first place.
He looked over to you and noticed you smiling lazily, but it wasn’t at him.
“I just finished cooking, if you guys are hungry,” John B announced, having appeared in the doorway.
John B gave him a smile, and JJ glowered in response. He wasn’t awake enough to hide his real feelings yet.
John B’s smile faltered and JJ knew his friend wasn’t all that deserving of his contempt as the other boy disappeared back inside.
“You hungry?” you asked, throwing a glance his way as you got up from the couch.
JJ didn’t hesitate to follow you into the house.
Tumblr media
Days later, he still felt that nasty twinge of jealousy in his gut.
Since that morning he’d done his best to keep it in. And it was working, for the most part. If John B noticed before, he didn’t bring it up. JJ was grateful for that because his friend definitely did notice.
If he had asked JJ what was wrong, JJ wasn’t sure he knew how to answer.
I don’t want you to try and date my step sister because I’m jealous that I can’t didn’t sound like an acceptable explanation. Even sitting by himself with his thoughts couldn’t help JJ become that delusional.
Even if he wasn’t necessarily uncomfortable lounging in the chair on his porch, JJ hated being at home alone. The only thing worse was being home with his dad. Sure, he could’ve gone to the Chateau, but he wanted to pick you up from work on time. He also thought about just showing up and hanging out with you, but the Carreras treated him like a seagull—convinced his only purpose was to steal food and pester their daughter.
The buzzing of his phone pulled him from his thoughts. He almost opened the message right away, as he usually did, but he read the preview and disappointment stuck. He decided against it.
Y/N: hey, kie’s gonna drive me tonight just lyk
When it started getting dark, JJ hopped on his bike and set off towards The Wreck anyway. You’d woken up earlier than him so he hadn’t seen you all day, he didn’t want to wait.
Was it cheesy of him to think he missed you already? Probably, but JJ didn’t care.
He came to a stop in the parking lot, near Kie’s jeep so you couldn’t miss him. JJ didn’t mind waiting however many minutes he did, when you stepped out with a hint of surprise on your face, it was worth it.
The light from the restaurant lit up your features, and he was certain the expression on your face said you were pleased to see him.
He couldn’t help but smirk. He was about to open his mouth to shoot a joke your way, but Kiara stopped across from him at your side and spoke up first.
“What are you doing here?”
“Didn’t think you’d still be here,” JJ lied with ease. He stepped away from his bike. He reminded himself to keep it simple, stuffing his hands into his pocket so he wouldn’t fidget with them.
He looked at you as you said, “I texted you she was gonna give me a ride.”
The slight doubt on your face was cute. He almost wondered if you were gonna take out your phone and check—but he’d covered his bases with that, the text would still say ‘delivered’ and not ‘read’.
JJ shrugged it off. “I didn’t see it. You wanna ride with me to the Chateau then? Since I detoured all the way here,” he said with a mix of sarcasm and guilt-tripping.
You rolled your eyes and it made him smile to himself when you looked away to Kiara.
“I’ll see you there,” you told the other girl. JJ knew you weren’t going to say no. You were already climbing onto the bike before he could say anything else. “Come on, since you’re in such a rush.”
Your voice held the same teasing his had.
“You’re so bossy.”
JJ was aware how flirtatious it sounded, but you didn’t react. He wasn’t sure whether to be relieved or not. He climbed onto the bike and told you to hold on. Your arms slid under his, locking together around him. Your chest pressed to his back, and JJ felt a flutter of excitement as he sped off away from the restaurant.
He would have driven faster, but he was much more cautious when you were riding with him. The last thing he wanted to do was lose control with you on board.
Even still, he could feel your heart pounding against his back. His own heart rate picked up when you held him tighter. It didn’t matter how many times the two of you had been in this position, it always thrilled him in a way that would just make him long for you later when you parted from him.
Concern crept in and he slowed down a little, making sure you could hear him when he asked you if you were alright.
“All good,” you replied with what was hopefully the truth.
“I’ve never crashed this thing,” JJ called back to you. He didn’t want you to be genuinely worried. “You can trust me.”
“I know,” you told him without hesitation. It made him release a breath, relieved. He sped up a little again, aware that Kiara was driving behind and wouldn’t like the slow pace. As he did that, he heard your voice one more time as you declared, “I do!”
JJ laughed a little to himself, hearing the squeak in your voice due to him speeding up right as you spoke.
He got you two to the Chateau pretty quick after that, and when he pulled into the yard and stopped the bike, JJ felt you relax against his back.
He climbed off the bike first, reluctantly making you separate from him, but he made up for it by offering his hand. It was a simple gesture but as you hopped off, you looked like you appreciated the extra balance.
“Thanks,” you said softly, eyes going past his.
JJ followed your gaze and spotted Pope and John B already seated around a small fire. They waved, and JJ held your hand a little tighter.
“Campfire, nice,” he muttered, not wanting to let you go.
So, he took a risk, and didn’t. It was small enough that he could get away with it—he had a list in his mind of what he could play off if you asked what the hell he was doing, and what he’d have no excuse for.
Holding your hand? Sorry, he didn’t notice he still was. Why was he standing so close? He could ask you the same thing. Why was he staring at you? He wasn’t, he just zoned out.
You never asked him these questions, but he still liked having the answers ready, knowing he had a tendency to push things.
JJ led the way further into the yard, bringing you along behind him. You didn’t let go or pull away from him, which JJ was sure he’d obsessed about later.
For now, he put on his best attitude to try and enjoy the night. He didn’t want to be a buzzkill, that was the last thing JJ thought of himself as.
“Where’s Kie?” Pope asked first, looking between JJ and you, wondering where the last member of the group was.
“Nice to see you too, Pope,” JJ sassed.
He had a feeling Pope might be crushing on Kie, but he wasn’t going to give him too hard of a time about it. At least he liked someone outside of his own house.
“She was right behind us,” you pointed out.
You turned your body to face where the jeep had parked, spotting Kie as she climbed out of her car. Not just that, but you dropped his hand. Were you just looking for an excuse to do so? Or was it just an afterthought?
JJ bit back his disappointment, shoving his hands into his pockets.
“Let’s get this party started,” you declared, finding the chair closest to you.
JJ sat beside you, which happened to be next to John B. His friend handed him a beer as a silent greeting, and JJ accepted the gesture with a nod. They were cool, everything was fine. Beers got passed around as soon as Kie joined the group and everyone began to unwind.
“I swear, we get the dumbest customers,” Kiara complained about work, shooting you a knowing look. “That lady today with the tattoo of Garfield on her arm?”
“Oh god,” you groaned and tilted your head back, as if just the memory gave you a migraine. “She walked up to the counter and was super rude to me, and then with a completely serious face asked how to get to The Wreck.”
“What’d you say?” John B wondered, raising his brows in curiosity.
“I told her it was a mile down the road.”
JJ chuckled alongside everyone else, appreciating the deviousness.
“Then what happened?” John B asked.
“She left,” you concluded, proud of yourself.
John B laughed hard.
You lifted your head a little to give him a look, but he just kept laughing. JJ saw the way a smile worked its way onto your face.
Okay, that was… fine. JJ didn’t want to be in a bad mood, so he angled himself to focus on you. It made him feel better. You always did.
“Your secret is safe with me,” Kie told you in a teasing tone. “Common sense and decency are both necessary life skills.”
The two of you clicked your bottles together at that.
“You think that’s bad?” Pope started what was surely a story of his own. “Try working grocery delivery for Kooks. The amount of people who ask for stuff they never ordered like I can just make it appear is crazy…”
And so that set everyone off on another tangent, but JJ noticed the subtle way you kept flicking your eyes to John B. JJ kept his back to the other boy, suspecting he wouldn’t be able to keep his mouth shut if he saw John B shooting you that flirty smile he used on Tourons.
They hadn’t explicitly had the conversation, but John B had to know you were off limits. Not just due to the whole ‘no Pogue on Pogue macking’ rule for the group, but also because of your connection to JJ. He didn’t see you as a sister, he never had. You were like a best friend who happened to live with him. But no one else knew that, so John B should take your relationship at face value and know a sibling of any kind was off limits.
And that was all aside from the fact that JJ was hopelessly into you.
It was ironic, really, because if you were any other girl that JJ was into, and John B knew that, he would’ve backed off. Especially because JJ actually liking a girl for more than just a night had never happened before. But you weren’t any other girl, and JJ couldn’t let John B know. Even more than that, he didn’t want you to know. The two of you had something incredible he couldn’t risk destroying. That knowledge didn’t stop him from wanting to take that risk, but fear did.
So it made it hard when John B didn’t let up on flirting with you. If it was obvious to him, it was obvious to everyone else. JJ observed you every time John B went out of his way to make you laugh, or the way you’d send witty comments his way. He couldn’t quite read you as well as he wished he could. It was hard to tell if you were truly reciprocating or just playing along. Although, he liked to think it was the latter.
Every once in a while, JJ would say something, and you’d look his way. The frustration he’d feel bubbling up at John B would simmer down when you focused solely on him, even for a short period. Listening to what he said, chuckling in response. No one had ever quite had that effect on JJ before you.
Suddenly, you let out a sound of amusement. It looked like it surprised you, snapping you out of your own head. It brought JJ back to reality too, unsure of what other conversation had been carrying on around him.
“What’s on your mind?” John B asked you before JJ could get a word out.
You shrugged, clearly having been zoned out too. “What’s on yours?”
“If El Dorado is real.”
Very funny, how clever. JJ kept back the sarcastic comment to himself.
“It’s definitely not,” Pope interjected, making JJ want to shake his head.
“You don’t dream of good and riches, Pope?” he asked the boy across from him. JJ got an eye roll in response, which was pretty on brand for Pope.
John B brushed past it, no doubt zeroed in on you. They had that in common recently.
“Your turn.”
You hummed, and JJ could see the way you fought back a teasing grin. “Where I’m gonna go on vacation. What do you think—Cancun or Bali?”
“Cancun is closer. What kind of room are you booking?” John B was quick to play along. “Ocean view would be nice.”
JJ felt a familiar twinge of jealousy. He shifted in his chair.
Then, you asked, “Why, do you wanna come with?” and JJ’s mouth felt dry.
“I don’t know, do you want the company?”
It didn’t matter if the scenario was fake, JJ was begging you to say no. Please no.
To shut himself up, JJ grabbed his beer and downed it.
“Maybe I do,” you replied, and JJ stifled a coughing fit.
You weren’t trying to hurt him but god did it burn. It was John B’s fault, baiting you into this, trying to make you… what, like him?
He needed to back off, that’s what he needed to do.
Just as JJ was about to say something, Kie swooped in and did it for him.
“Can you two quit it? All the flirting is making me nauseous.”
Same here, JJ thought to himself.
“Aw, don’t be jealous, Kie,” John B said smugly. “You can come with.”
Kiara rolled her eyes and so did JJ. John B sounded really full of himself right now and the thought crept in that someone should put him in his place.
“Barring the fact that this vacation is hypothetical, I’d also like to be invited,” Pope commented.
Seriously? Even Pope was endorsing this? Despite being last to speak, your eyes didn’t stay on him for more than a second, maybe. JJ counted.
A gnawing feeling struck in his gut as he finally looked to John B, knowing that’s who your eyes were on. The envy he’d smothered before boiled over all of the sudden. He wanted to blame it on the beer, but he wasn’t sure he could.
“‘Course you’re goin’, Pope!” The words burst out before JJ could stop himself, a strained laugh never even making its way out. It came out more hostile than he had intended, even if it really was what he felt. He dropped his hand to John B’s shoulder, fingers gripping a little too tight as he forced a smile. His teeth were clenched together behind a closed lipped smile as he locked eyes with John B. He looked startled. Good, JJ thought. “You got room for the rest of us? Or were you just gonna steal Y/N and take off?”
An uncontrollable bitterness had seeped into his voice by now. His fingers pressed in harder as no response came. It wasn’t a hypothetical question, he wanted an answer.
JJ wondered if John B would fess up, because it certainly seemed like that’s what he wanted to do.
John B looked… concerned. It made JJ falter for a moment. It made him question if he’d somehow fooled himself into seeing things differently.
“No one’s stealing anyone,” he replied carefully. JJ blinked. He became very aware of how silent the group had become. He nearly looked over to you, but John B wasn’t done. “You know that, right?”
JJ took a moment, eyes narrowing slightly, examining John B’s face and replaying the words. Was it an apology without the exact words? Or an attempt to get him to back down?
“It’s not like we’re actually going anywhere,” Kiara interjected, a subduing tone to her voice.
“Right,” JJ said slowly. He detached himself from John B, feeling the pressure of all eyes on him. Usually, he wouldn’t mind, but he was used to being the comic relief when that happened. He found his bottle and stared down at it as he held it tight in his hand. “Maybe some other time, when we find El Dorado,” he tried to joke, but it came out tense.
The silence that followed was louder than if anyone had laughed.
The focus on him made JJ want to crawl out of his skin. He couldn’t bring himself to look at you, because he knew he might break under your questioning gaze.
Blaming John B seemed like the easiest out in his mind, but he couldn’t get on a soapbox and point fingers now. He couldn’t even be certain you even liked the other boy, but just that thought made his head spin in the worst way possible. He tried to lift his beer and drink what was left, but nothing remained. Great. JJ looked at the bottle with spite. He wanted to throw it, but resolved to drop it and stand instead.
“I’m gonna get another, you guys want anything?” he asked in a mutter, walking off to the house.
When he got inside, JJ gripped the counter and bowed his head, catching his breath. He didn’t realize how he’d held it until he stopped for a moment to try and consciously breathe.
He needed to get control of himself, he was all over the place tonight. If he could just take a minute and let himself get settled, he could plaster on a smile and walk back out with a beer in hand and get drunk enough to ease his nerves.
Just when he pulled himself together enough that he thought he could walk back out, John B appeared in the doorway.
“You wanna tell me what that was?” John B questioned, crossing his arms over his chest.
JJ scoffed. He didn’t receive being cornered very well. Never had.
“Not sure what you mean.”
“Can’t exactly lie when I was right there,” John B countered. “Is this about Y/N?” JJ’s jaw clenched at the mention of you. That was answer enough. “I don’t know what you think is going on, but we were just messing around. Don’t be mad at Y/N,” John B requested, like he was some kind of knight who was protecting your honor.
“I’m not,” JJ replied.
“But you’re mad at me?”
JJ didn’t answer fast enough, but that was an answer in itself.
“I know what you’re thinking, okay?” John B paused in a way that sent a strike of fear through JJ. Had he figured it out somehow? Was he privy to JJ’s most shameful thoughts? “I don’t even know if she likes me back, but I would never hurt her,” John B continued, and air returned to his lungs. Fear switched back to anger. “You know I wouldn’t.”
JJ scoffed, and he couldn’t help the laugh that followed. Not only of relief, but with a sharp mocking for him getting it so wrong.
In addition, JJ’s suspicions being confirmed wasn’t something he was exactly happy about either.
“Okay, whatever you say,” JJ dismissed, trying to shove past him. John B stepped back in front of him, not letting him get away that easily. JJ’s face hardened as he was forced back into the house. “Are you trying to piss me off?”
John B looked taken aback. “So you don’t want to talk about this at all? Clearly it bothers you.”
“Have some sob fest and talk about my feelings with you? No, John B, I don’t,” JJ snapped. “And you and Y/N? Not gonna happen, so quit while you’re ahead.”
“Why?” John B challenged, squaring his shoulders. “Because you said so?”
JJ clenched his fists and his frown deepened.
“Yeah,” he decided. “Because I said so.”
John B seemed like he hadn’t expected pure honesty, and JJ took the opportunity to shove past him and escape out the door.
He kept his eyes forward, opting to go for his motorbike, knowing sticking around would only make this worse.
He heard John B behind him. “Seriously, JJ!?” JJ kept going, putting distance between the two of them. “Why are you making such a big deal about this?”
JJ ignored him, instead doing the safe thing and getting on his bike once he crossed the yard. He didn’t dare look anywhere but forward. He sped off before he could even think about it, all he knew was he couldn’t be here anymore.
Arriving at home wasn’t much better. In fact, it was worse. He threw his bike down in the yard and charged inside, and the way that he slammed the door behind him pissed his dad off. He’d been sleeping on the couch and the noise woke him up.
“With the way you’re storming in here you’d think you owned the place,” his dad berated, getting to his feet.
His dad got one strike to his cheek before JJ wised up and retreated. His father didn’t chase after him, behaving as if JJ was just a pest he had to swat away from his presence.
The pain in his cheek stung, and so did the tears in his eyes.
At that moment, JJ wished you were here. You’d cup his face and make sure he was okay. He’d pretend he didn’t need it, but you’d hug him anyway and tell him he didn’t deserve what happened, and that you were sorry, even though it wasn’t your fault.
Longing brought him to your room. With the way JJ took off, he guessed he probably wouldn’t be seeing you for a while. You’d stay at the Chateau and talk about it with the others. He felt awful for leaving you behind, but if he stayed for a second longer things would’ve gotten worse.
So here he was, making himself at home in your room. He didn’t bother to turn the light on, JJ simply sat down on the edge of your bed, thinking to himself.
He wondered what you were thinking about him leaving. He hoped you wouldn’t assume he was mad at you, although he wasn’t even sure what he wanted you to think. Maybe John B would tell you, and things would be awkward when you got back—if you came back tonight.
The thought of you spending the night alone with John B made JJ want to jump back on his bike, but he’d already screwed up a lot tonight.
JJ hated the way things were happening. It’s not like he wanted to be angry or even fighting with one of his best friends. John B didn’t know why what he was doing was so wrong, but JJ hoped his friend would still heed his warning and back off of you.
It was a waking nightmare, imagining you and John B as a happy couple, unknowingly rubbing in his face what he wanted with you but couldn’t have.
He reminded himself the two of you weren’t related, but it didn’t change how his anxiety told him his friends would look at him, or worse, what you’d think of him. JJ feared that you’d feel betrayed, that you’d judge him as if he presented himself as one thing while having an ulterior motive. What if he lost your trust? What if you could only ever see him as a brother?
It wasn’t his plan, it really wasn’t. He wasn’t planning on falling for you, it just happened and now he couldn’t stop it.
His entire body felt heavy, like all the thoughts piling up in his head were weighing the rest of him down.
What would you think of him?
JJ’s head hit your pillow and he inhaled deeply. Your scent still lingered, and it soothed the stinging in his cheek when it made contact with the cool fabric.
He shifted around until he got comfortable, his feet hanging off the bed because he knew you’d say something if he got his boots on the bed. He should’ve kicked them off, but he didn’t have the energy to.
Sleep never came, so JJ just laid still in the quiet, heart thumping against his ribcage with his chest pressed to the mattress, tracing his finger along the area within reach, pondering what the hell to say, or what he should’ve said, or not said at all.
Pope was pretty smart, maybe he’d have some good ideas about how to build a time machine. But even that wouldn’t solve all his problems. JJ would still be desperately in love with you and had not a clue what to do about it. He doubted Pope or anyone could help him with that.
He was long past fixing, this was just another item to add to the running list of screwed up things about JJ Maybank.
The sound of your bedroom door opening came a while later, but still sooner than he’d expected. Maybe an hour? Or less? JJ figured you would’ve hung out with the others later into the night.
He could feel your eyes on him, even if the dark didn’t allow him to see you all that clearly. JJ only shifted his gaze to your figure in the doorway, remaining still.
Then you went for your bedside lamp and clicked it on. Light filled the room and even if he was going to pretend he was asleep, that was no longer an option. You caught his eyes open.
“That really wasn’t cool,” you started. “Fighting with John B then storming off like that.”
JJ didn’t know how to respond to that. He glanced up at you still, looking over your form. He could tell you were upset, that much was for sure.
It still came as a surprise when you ripped the pillow out from under his head.
This wasn’t going to go away, apparently. Maybe he should’ve just put aside his instincts to seek out comfort from you and gone to his own room.
JJ sat up, full of regret. “Thanks, I’ll remember that next time.”
He saw the moment you noticed the new injury to his cheek. Your face shifted and he swallowed, jaw tightening.
“Don’t. It’s fine.”
You watched him for a moment, just as stubborn as he was. He wanted your comfort, not pity. You were frustrated with him, he’d fall apart if you still showed him kindness, maybe even held his face in your delicate hands. It was tempting, but every time you held him, his secrets threatened to spill out. It took everything he had to keep it in, but it was a losing battle.
“There’s not gonna be a next time, you need to fix this,” you stated firmly instead of trying to soothe him.
JJ scoffed, shaking his head. Couldn’t you just be on his side?
“Funny how you seem to think you’re the boss of me,” he grumbled, not wanting to talk about this with you. If he wanted this to stop, he had to get mean, and he’d never done that with you. But he felt as if he were on the precipice of something. “Why does it matter anyway? Can you just stay out of it?”
JJ recognized the defiant look of your face as you said, “Well, if you weren’t all weird and hadn’t ditched me, maybe I wouldn’t be involved.”
Yeah, he deserved that. God, why was he such a mess? His gaze fell to the ground, unable to meet your eyes.
“Sorry about that,” he apologized, and he meant it, too. “I shouldn’t have left you.”
He heard you sigh. “It’s fine, I got a ride with Kie.” Your voice held less annoyance than it had before. It was replaced by curiosity as you tried to decipher what went down. “Did you and John B fight about me?”
JJ tried to settle the panic that threatened to arise and he looked up.
He had to make the words come out as he got to his feet. “Is that what he said?”
JJ had to know.
“Not in those exact words, but he told me he liked me and that you weren’t happy about it.”
JJ tried to control the emotion on his face. He didn’t know what to say to that. He was trying to come up with the correct thing to say, to fix this without having to explain himself. He didn’t want you to be mad, but he needed you to stop asking questions before he slipped up and gave you an answer he could never come back from.
Instead of something thoughtful, or something clever, what came out was, “Don’t worry about it,” in a tone that made him wince internally.
You looked hurt, and then mad. JJ supposed he had earned that but it didn’t make it any better.
“How about you don’t worry about it? If I like him or not, it’s my choice,” you spat. “Not yours.” You poked him accusingly in the chest.
The fire in your eyes made JJ weak. He considered himself to be strong willed but if he thought you wouldn’t be mortified he’d drop to his knees and beg you to forgive him.
His mind went blank as he tried to gather what to say, but apparently he was going 0 out of 2 for proper responses.
“You can’t,” he rushed out, his true feelings getting the better of him.
He cursed internally.
The frown on your face didn’t come as a surprise as you repeated, “Can’t? Okay, JJ.”
It was 0 out of 3 now.
He could hear the mocking in your tone and something about that got to him. Were you actually considering getting with John B? Would you really do that to him? You’d never shown interest in John B before but now all the sudden you’d pick him over JJ?
“I’m serious,” JJ insisted, digging himself in deeper. “You just can’t,” he continued, voice wavering. He screwed up, he knew it.
You looked… confused, maybe?
“Why?”
JJ needed this conversation to be over before he fucked up even worse. He needed to stop talking but some stupid part of his mind wouldn't let him just shut his mouth.
“Can you just drop it?” he asked, trying to keep his voice steady, running a stressed hand through his hair. His hand paused, maybe if he applied enough pressure to his brain it would start working how he wanted it to.
“No, not when you made it a thing,” you replied sternly. “Just tell me what is going on.”
JJ’s scalp stung as his hand tightened. He wanted to—he really did. His eyes flicked to the doorway behind you, wanting to make a break for it.
“Can you not ask me that?” He let his hand fall to the side, trying to not actually hurt himself. Besides, you’d already accomplished that by laughing in his face. He felt his expression fall further and he decided to just end this now, “I don’t want to talk about this with you.”
You blocked him when he tried to walk out. If he wanted to, JJ could’ve shoved you out of the way and continued on. Maybe he should’ve. But when you looked up at him, forcing him to meet your gaze, he was stuck in place.
It didn’t matter how irritated with him you looked, JJ couldn’t help but admire you. His eyes fell to your lips, and he pressed his own together subtly, scolding himself for the urge to kiss you.
What if he did? What if he just went for it? At least he would know if he had a chance or not, or maybe you’d at least feel bad and not date John B. Maybe in this case he did want your pity.
Or you would be repulsed by him and he’d ruin one of the only good things he had.
“Can you just answer the question?” You watched him so intensely JJ thought he would crumble beneath your gaze. “You’re not a coward, JJ.” That got under his skin, rarely were you harsh with him. “You always speak your mind—so do it.”
Do it.
The words repeated in his mind over and over. Rationality told him that you didn’t mean it in the way he so badly wanted to interpret it, but impulse raced through his veins. His body began to move, despite the way his mind screamed at him to stop.
He didn't say anything.
It was incredibly foolish, but JJ gave in and did exactly what he wanted.
He kissed you.
The moment his lips pressed to yours, it was like it all clicked into place. His eyes fluttered shut but everything seemed more clear. His hands rose to lightly cup your face, needing to touch you.
JJ swore he wasn’t imagining it when you kissed him back. It was subtle, the way you allowed your lips to meld with his. JJ jumped at the opportunity, moving a hand to the back of your neck as he deepened the kiss.
Then, you parted from him with a gasp. JJ’s eyes snapped open and his heart dropped.
Oh fuck. What did he just do?
You looked like a deer in headlights. Which was funny, because JJ was the one who felt like he’d just been run over.
He opened his mouth, then shut it. He swallowed, scanning your face, waiting for the anger or betrayal to morph your features.
Thing was, neither did.
“Your face…” you said suddenly, softly. JJ furrowed his brows, not sure if he heard you right. Then you reached for him, fingers hovering over the new bruise he had forced you to ignore before. “You never said before—are you okay? Actually okay?”
JJ grabbed your hand and held it in his. He fought the urge to press it to his chest and pull you close, but instead held it between the two of you.
“I’m fine,” he muttered, but he wasn’t. He really, really wasn’t.
You nodded slowly, eyes turning to the ground as you stepped back and away from him. Your hand flinched up as you wiped your lips with the back of your hand.
That felt like a punch to the gut if JJ was being honest.
“I need to get some sleep,” you started, mind sounding distant. “So can you…”
“I’ll go,” JJ said in nearly a whisper. His feet felt like weights as he went for the door. You made no attempt to stop him this time. I’m sorry, he thought, but said, “Goodnight,” in a mumble instead.
He pulled your door shut behind him, only to collapse back against it. JJ buried his face into his palms then dragged his hands up through his hair.
He was such an idiot. Why the fuck did he do that? Out of everything he could’ve done, JJ just had to go and kiss you.
The full reality still hadn’t set in and he was already an anxious mess. He was on a precipice, alright. Only, he didn’t step over the edge of that cliff, he jumped. Without a parachute.
JJ locked himself in his room and only had the energy to kick off his shoes and strip down to his boxers before hiding beneath his covers, cursing himself the entire time. He ruined everything. After all this time trying to avoid his feelings for you, trying to make sure no one else found out, he went and blew everything up himself.
Classic JJ move.

Hey Daddy.
Pairing Travis Kelce x Reader
Words 3381
Warnings Some strong language and mentions of miscarriage, blood, losing a family member. There's a bit of angst and lots of fluff though!
Another Anon request! This is my first Dad Travis/pregnancy related fic. As someone who has never been pregnant and doesn't plan on it in the future, I've avoided writing this sort of thing. But this is why I love getting requests as it brought me out of my comfort zone and I really enjoyed doing it! So, thank you Anon for making me branch out into a different style! "Can I request some dad Travis/pregnant reader? Travis has to travel for an away game and his wife (reader) is 9 months pregnant who has to stay home - unable to travel due to being so close to giving birth. She gets very anxious lately whenever Travis has to leave because she can go into labor any day now. Game day is here and the reader is not feeling well at all. She's curled up on the couch with a blanket and some tea, to watch the game. During the game, the reader's water breaks and she goes into labor. Travis' mom is in touch with her. Travis' mom notifies the team staff what's going on... and then they notify Travis during the game."
Tumblr media
"Baby, I miss you." Travis' warm voice made you melt as you held the phone close to your ear.
"You only left this morning!" You giggled as you clutched at the blanket and pulled it up to your chest, "You can't miss me already?"
"Yes I can! Are you saying you don't miss me when I leave?"
"Of course I do, Travis." You winced slightly as you shifted on the sofa.
Travis heard your slight noise of discomfort, "What? Are you okay? What's wrong?" He immediately sounded concerned.
"Relax, baby. I've just got cramp. I'm fine."
You heard him sigh in relief, "Man, I hate leaving you. I hate leaving you anyway, but you're sick and you know...ready to burst."
"Not long until the little guy is here." You gently rubbed your swelling stomach.
The Chiefs had a game in Dallas against the Cowboys and Travis had travelled to the game alone for the first time since you had been together. You only had 2 weeks left until your due date and luckily, Travis had had a bye week and two home games in a row, meaning he was around to take care of you. You hadn't been feeling 100% for the past few days however, meaning he was more worried, especially as he was about to be 500 miles away from you. You tried to keep him calm, reminding him that it was only an hour's flight home and he would be back before he knew it.
"Well, try to keep him in there until I'm home."
You laughed, "I don't think I'll have much of a say!"
Travis hummed into his phone, "And remember, you can call my Mom at any time."
You snickered slightly, "Travis, I'm fine. I'll be here on the couch with my snacks and my herbal tea, watching you kill it."
Travis sighed again, "Okay, okay. Baby, I gotta go. But please, take care until I get back, alright?"
"Alright. I love you, Travis."
"I love you, Y/N."
You hung up the phone and reached for your ginger tea, sipping it gently, the hot steam tickling your cheeks. A strong stab shot through your lower back again, causing you to stretch your chest upwards in an attempt to relieve any pressure. You had been having these pains for most of the afternoon but you didn't want to worry Travis. You picked up your phone from the arm of the sofa and texted Travis' Mom, Donna.
"I've had a few more of those pains, but I don't know how much more ginger tea I can have. I'm running the the bathroom every two minutes!"
Donna must have had her phone in her hand as they three grey dots appeared almost immedately.
"Just wait till you're at my age, sweetie!"
You smiled at her message, pulling the bowl of nacho chips onto your lap, enjoying the pre-game interviews. Your eyes danced across the room, cards from friends and family wishing you well for your pregnancy dotted around the surfaces. A brand new crib was located near the window, a bright blue bow secured on top; a gift from Travis' brother Jason and his wife Kylie. Your heart fluttered as thoughts of you and Travis becoming parents filled your mind. He was fantastic with his three nieces and they adored him just as much as he did them. You picked up your cup of tea, but as you brought it to your lips, you felt your bladder sting, groaning as you lifted yourself up for another trip to the bathroom.
By the second half of the game, you were out of chips and the Chiefs were down by 7 points. You grumbled to yourself with the dull ache that was radiating across your back and stomach. Gripping onto the blanket you opened your latest message from Donna.
"Keep up with those breathing exercises, honey. Have you got the birthing ball?"
Your eyes scanned over to the large, blue gym ball in the corner of the lounge. You knew that it would help with your pains but just the idea of getting up from the sofa was enough to tire you out.
"Yeah I have. I'll get on it now. I could really do with a Momma Kelce hug, that would make me feel better!"
"You only have one week to wait and you can have all of the Momma Kelce hugs you want!"
You smiled as you put your phone back down and slowly rose to your feet, one hand lightly supporting your large bump. As you settled down on the ball in front of the TV, the third quarter was beginning. You gently bounced, breathing deeply and feeling some of the pain release before your core tightened again.
Travis' face flashed up onto the screen as he was settling into position for the first play of the quarter and you smiled, feeling an immense combination of love, pride and respect. Your relationship had developed over a few years, through your friendship with his teammate Eric Fisher and his wife Elizabeth. When Travis was drafted to the Chiefs, he was invited to numerous parties, dinners and barbeques that you had attended and a close friendship blossomed. Travis eventually asked to take you out on a date and you agreed, with a little persuasion from Elizabeth and Eric. He was kind, caring and attentive to you, with staunch manners and an incredible sense of humour. He made you laugh, made you feel safe and always put you first when he could. The two of you had married after 4 years surrounded by your family and friends and it was truly the happiest day of your life. You couldn't believe how lucky you were, staring up at the handsome man who was promising the rest of his life to you. It was a mutual decision to start trying to have children, and you got to work almost immediately after the wedding.
When you found out that you were pregnant, Travis was overjoyed, choking up as he kissed you repeatedly, crying "Thank you" into your lips. You prepared the house for your new arrival, painting the nursery and spending your Monday nights building new furniture. Everything was falling into place until during your second trimester, you suffered a miscarriage. You had been putting some groceries away when you felt a strange sting deep in your abdomen. You grabbed onto the kitchen counter and doubled over, clutching your stomach with your other hand. You breathed through the intense pain and when Travis walked through the door, he rushed to your side. Picking you up and moving you to the sofa, his face turned white when he saw the trail of blood that ran behind you and he quickly drove you to the hospital.
The next few months were numbing. You felt that you had let Travis down, that it was your fault that you had lost his first child. He insisted every day that you had done nothing wrong and stuck to your side as you grieved.
Just as you were beginning to heal, life threw you another cruel blow. You had invited your Mom for coffee and you knew something was wrong with her. She was quiet and fidgeting so you pushed for answers. You wished you hadn't as it was then when she explained that she had found a lump in her breast and was awaiting for the results from the Doctor. Only days after you saw her, she was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and she passed away soon after. Coming from a single parent household, you and your Mom were extremely close. She was your rock and was elated on your wedding day, constantly telling Travis how happy she was for the pair of you. You had felt like your life was falling apart around you but the one constant support you had was Travis. He would hold you close as you cried yourself to sleep. He would stay with you when you were too drained to leave the house. He took a year off of football to help you and to care for you. You were undeniably grateful to him and when you fell pregnant again, he was reasonably cautious. Reading baby books, attending lamaze classes with you and checking up with you every hour when he wasn't with you. His attentiveness made your heart burst with love, seeing a glimpse of his parenthood skills.
Your attention was brought back to the screen when you heard the commentators begin to raise their voices. Travis was sprinting down the field, the football safely cradled in his arm.
You sat up further, clenching your thigh muscles, "Go on, baby! Come on, keep going! Go!"
Travis made the touchdown with ease, dropping the ball as he raised his hands to the sky, blowing a kiss in your honour, as he always did. You clapped your hands and shouted with happiness until you felt a sudden wetness release in your sweatpants. You stopped, slowly standing up from the gym ball. Feeling the smooth texture with your fingers, you looked down with an initial sense of panic. The liquid was clear and you froze on the spot. Your water had broke.
You immediate reaction was to call Donna.
"Hey honey!" Donna sang down the phone.
"Uhh Donna, I think the baby is coming." Your voice was panicked.
"What?"
"I was cheering for Trav and my water broke."
"Oh shit. Okay, stay calm, relax, I'm gonna call Travis' team staff. Have you called the hospital?"
You paused, "Umm...no. I called you straight away."
"Okay. Call the hospital straight away."
You swallowed hard, "Donna, he's not supposed to come for another 2 weeks."
"I know, it's okay though."
"I'm scared. I'm on my own and I'm scared."
Donna sighed, "I know you are, but trust me, everything is going to be fine."
You nodded your head against the phone, "Yeah, yeah. Thank you so much Donna."
"I'll speak to you soon, sweetie."
You paced the floor with nerves, unsure of what to do. Usually, Travis would be the one to keep you calm so you looked towards the screen. The game was still playing and you stared as Travis was completely unaware that his wife was in labour.
You called the hospital, clutching at your stomach, explaining that your water had broken two weeks before your due date. The call handler explained calmly that they would be sending an ambulance as soon as possible but that you were still in the early stages of labour and not to panic.
As the current play ended, you saw Travis sitting down on the bench, breathing heavily and watching the action on the field as he sat this one out. A member of the Chiefs staff approached him from behind and tapped his shoulder. The camera panned away and you groaned through what you assumed was a contraction, waiting to see your husband on the screen again. When his face finally appeared, his eyes were wide and his head was whipping from side to side, anxiously shouting to everyone around him before he was quickly ushered out of the stadium.
You felt restless. Glancing out of the window, you tried to slow your breathing down in an attempt to relax. You watched the trees swaying with the breeze, almost replicating the movement with your own body and taking deep inhales. Closing your eyes, your hand instinctively cradled your baby bump just as another stab of pain shot through you.
"Come on, just stay in there until Daddy gets back." You muttered.
You hunched your back over and pressed the palms of your hands against the wall for stability as your phone started ringing. Without checking who it was, you answered the call.
"Hello?" You groaned.
"How are you doing, sweetie?"
You winced as you sat down on the gym ball, "I don't know if these pains are contractions but they're kicking my ass, Donna. Did you speak with the team?"
"Yeah, they're getting him out of the stadium now and onto a private jet to bring him home as soon as they can."
You sighed with relief before letting out a throaty cry, "I need him here."
"He'll be there, honey. He isn't missing this."
Your phone beeped in your ear, signalling that another call was trying to get through. You pulled the phone away to look at the screen, seeing a selfie of you and Travis on your wedding day, a huge smile on your face as he pressed a kiss into your cheek.
"He's calling me now, Donna. I'll have to go."
"Okay, call me later on."
You switched the call over quickly, hearing Travis' breathless voice.
"Baby, baby! Are you okay?"
You smiled, "I'm fine, it's painful but I'm okay. They're sending an ambulance as soon as they can."
"I'll be home in an hour and a half. Just sit tight and keep breathing. I love you so much."
Your voice shook, "I love you too, I can't wait to see you be the best Daddy to this little guy." You held your baby bump tenderly, feeling movement through your sweater.
Travis cleared his throat, "I'm getting on the jet now, I'll see you soon."
"Bye, baby."
You dropped your phone on the sofa and began pacing the floor again, grasping at your back as the sharp stab began to change into a dull ache. Your groaned through the pain, gritting your teeth and scrunching your eyes.
It wasn't long before an ambulance arrived to take you to the hospital. You were anxious about having to do this first step on your own but knowing that Travis was on his way eased your mind slightly. He was your birth partner and knew what to do to keep you relaxed, the correct breathing exercises to do and you were desperate to have him by your side.
Once you were in the hospital, you were quickly brought to your private room, your husband wanting only the best for you. It was bright, comfortable and quiet, just what you needed. A cheerful nurse appeared in your doorway with short grey hair and a wide smile.
"Mrs Kelce, my name is Heather. I'll be looking after you today." She beamed as she made her way to your bed.
"Hi Heather." You whined quietly, "My husband is on his way so please could he be let straight in when he gets here?"
She nodded and picked up your notes that were hanging on the end of the bed, "Of course, anything you want. Now, how is your pain."
You scrunched your face, "Manageable at the moment, I guess."
Heather stretched on a pair of gloves, "You just let me know if you would like any help with the pain, but first thing I'm going to do is check how far along you are, if that's okay?"
You nodded as she made her way to the end of the bed, lifting your gown up. You shifted as she examined you, trying to relax.
"Okay, so you're around 4 centimetres so I'm afraid we've got some time to wait, Mrs Kelce."
"Please, call me Y/N."
Heather smiled as she removed her gloves and placed them into the bin, "Now, can I get you anything?"
You pointed down to your bag that you had had packed and ready for the last 2 weeks, "Could you hand me the book that's on the top, please? I figure now would be the perfect time to get some reading in."
Heather reached into the bag and pulled out a large hardbacked book and passed it to you, winking, "Good idea. I'll be just out here. If you need anything at all press that buzzer and I'll be right in."
You smiled at her, your fingers brushing over the pages of your book. You held your breath as another wave of pain brushed over you, but this time it was longer and more intense. You clenched your jaw and closed your eyes to try and deal with the pain, not keen on taking any drugs throughout your labour. Squeezing your eyes further shut, you gripped the book in your hands as the pain began to subside.
Your knuckles were turning white when you heard gentle footsteps. You opened one eye to see Heather set down a cup next to you on the bedside table and lower herself into the nearby seat.
"Ice chips." She said with a smile, "You'll get a dry mouth, especially in this heat."
You took hold of the cup, "Thank you."
She placed one hand on yours, "First time?"
Your face relaxed as the pain subsided, "Yeah." You said with a slow exhale.
"I bet your husband is excited?"
Your lips curled upwards, "You could say that." Your eyes drifted to your phone which had lit up with a notification and was now showing your background of you and Travis on vacation together. "He's going to be an amazing Father."
Heather gave your hand a squeeze, "You'll need to buy an 87 jersey!"
You lowered your eyebrows in confusion.
"My husband is a Chiefs fan, I know who your husband is." She laughed.
"Well, I'm sure I can hook you up with an autograph...ohhhhh." You groaned in agony as Heather started to put her gloves on.
"Oh sweetie, let's just have a look and see what's going on here." Heather said calmly as she began to examine you, "Oh, someone's impatient."
Your eyes widened, "What? What does that mean?"
"It means your baby is coming." She smiled as she removed her gloves and discarded them.
You placed your hands either side of your hips and lifted yourself up slightly, "What? Now? No, Travis isn't here. I need him with me."
Heather took hold of your hands in hers, "Honey, this baby isn't going to wait. He's like his Papa, quick off of the mark." She laughed as she grabbed some charts and unlocked the brakes on your bed.
You closed your eyes, willing the tears not to start falling down your cheeks. You took a few shaky breaths before frantic footsteps in the hallway caused you to open your eyes and your breath hitched when Travis bounded into your room. His face was red and sweaty from rushing around and his expression softened when he saw you.
"Baby, I'm here, I'm here. Is everything okay?" He leaned down and kissed you gently.
You smiled into the kiss, "Yeah, I'm fine. I'm just glad you're here. I think they're taking me now."
"What, now? Right now?" His voice was panicked.
Your eyes filled with tears, "Are you ready to be a Daddy?"
His thumb brushed over your forehead, "Absolutely."
Heather appeared in the doorway, "Are we ready?"
You pressed your lips together and nodded quickly, "I think so."

Your eyes flickered open and the room slowly came into focus. You swallowed with difficulty, your dry throat scratching. As you turned your head on the pillow, you saw Travis standing at the window, looking outside. You could hear him mumbling with a low voice, but it was too quiet to hear what he was saying.
Clearing your throat a little first, you croaked, "Hey Daddy."
Travis turned around, a bundle of blankets nestled in his arms. He looked up at you and smiled before looking down again, "Look, Mommy's awake."
He came close to you, leaning slightly so he could place the tiny baby on your chest. You looked down at a pair of large blue eyes blinking up at you.
"This is crazy." You whispered.
Travis grinned, bending his knees so that his face was lined up with yours. He pressed a gentle kiss on your forehead, his stubble grazing your skin, "I am so proud of you, baby. You are amazing."
You sighed, "Thank you for getting here in time, I don't think I could've done it without you, baby." You voice shook.
Travis cleared his throat, his emotions taking over, "You are so strong, you can do anything. You hear me? Anything. And I am so happy to start this new chapter of our lives together." He leaned further, kissing his sons forehead, "Our little family. You, me and Dashiell Kelce."

It had been two months since the night you were intimate with Wooyoung and it was still suffocating to think about.
It hurts a lot actually. But you can't let your sadness take over you, especially when Wooyoung hasn't shown any concrete signs that you should be worried other than your feelings. So you kept it to yourself, you kept your anxiety in and with every trip and team dinner or client meeting, you convinced yourself that he was doing what he said he was doing no matter how nauseated it made you feel. The stress must've gotten to you badly because the nausea was starting to become unbearable and even made you vomit almost every day. You figured it was psychosomatic but since it had affected your housework (aka Wooyoung complaining that you were up late several times, Dayoung grumbling under her breath about you not even caring to make her breakfast, and Woohyun refusing to go to kindergarten because he was worried over you).
Today started quite roughly.
"MOM!"
You barely held onto the countertop of your sink when you heard your daughter huffing from the other side of the door. The pain in your head and the discomfort from your stomach made your body sway slightly and the second round of angry knocks felt like a hammer to your head.
"Mom, seriously, I'm gonna be late!" Dayoung sighed sharply. You could just imagine the look on her face and while you love your children to bits, the way your body was practically shutting down on you, it felt like you wanted to scream back at her to give you a break. But you kept reminding yourself that you're the parent, she's an angsty teenager and you can't create a hostile environment for your youngest.
By whatever force that was working in your favour, you managed to walk yourself to the door and though your hands were cold, clammy, and trembling, you were able to open the door to see your daughter glaring at you. "S-sorry sweetie, mommy's not feeling well right now," you sighed, wiping the cold sweat off your forehead with your palm.
Dayoung hated the way you referred to yourself as if she was still a child or something and she let you know her disdain with a scoff and a roll of her eyes. "If you were so against me taking the bus in the morning, you could've at least made an effort to be punctual. I had to dress Woohyun, you know that? He and his milk-drenched chin almost ruined my cardigan and uniform. How is it that I'm doing things you're supposed to? Couldn't you have gotten drunk during the weekends or something?" she sneered, oblivious that it had been a while since you touched alcohol because when you tried to have a glass the week before, you ended up throwing up for some reason. The throbbing was coming back along with annoyance and you couldn't help the sharp exhale that you let out, "Can you not be like this right now? You being disrespectful won't make me move any faster." At least Dayoung had the decency to shut her mouth but from the corner of your eyes, you could see her fists clenching. "Where's your dad anyways? He knew I was not feeling well, he could've taken you and Woohyun to school." Although you were sighing and struggling to move without keeling over, you still forced your body to cooperate, determined to prioritize your motherly duties above letting sickness take over you completely. Dayoung only leaned on the wall while texting her friend, completely aware that you had almost fallen over a couple of times as you changed into your jeans, "I don't know, Daddy seemed to be in a rush this morning. He went out like an hour earlier than usual, humming and mumbling something about meeting someone for coffee before going to the academy."
The lighthearted tone Dayoung used didn't hide the heaviness of those words. You had been rather preoccupied as a mom to really follow up on your instinct so when you heard that, you felt a chill down your spine. For a moment, you couldn't help but wonder what or why you felt like that. As quick as that doubt came, you brushed the thought away as you grabbed your bag, rushed your children out the door, and loaded them into your car.
Being a parent was truly a wonder because for a moment, while focusing on your children, you felt like your body was mending itself. The headache was gone, your joints were not achy, and the bloated feeling in your stomach was relieved. Maybe it was stress, a psychosomatic symptom because you had a feeling that something was wrong with Wooyoung and because nothing did, your body directed the feeling towards your health. It's possible, the body is mysterious and things that make almost 0 sense can happen in a blink of an eye.
But once you found yourself all alone after taking Woohyun to his class, you slumped against the side of your car, clutching your head as the pain suddenly returned all at once. It was then and there that you realized that something was going on with you and you needed to get it checked out immediately.
On the way to the hospital, your mind was at war. It was plagued with scary scenarios like cancer one moment before the logical side of your brain reasoned that it could be something as simple as indigestion, acid reflux or even stomach flu. The anxiety didn't die down and you thought that at moments like this, you needed your partner, you needed your husband. Your husband who in the past had gone above and beyond to nurse you back to health even when it was just your allergy acting up. It was ironic that as you smiled and reminisced about the things your husband did for you in the past, your phone let out a long dial tone that let you know that you couldn't reach your husband for the 5th time. The anxiety bubbled up at the pit of your stomach as your fear went on automation, immediately associating Wooyoung not accepting your calls as a bad omen. One by one, your brain started ticking off possibilities such as stomach cancer, bowel obstruction, and kidney problems. Then your daughter's jabs started popping in your head, her jabs about how you drink a lot. It wasn't like you get drunk on wine twice a week like a ritual but it was never like that. You do enjoy the occasional glass but even then, it was slightly less than the amount people usually pour and it never surpassed you feeling tingly. But maybe you had accidentally subconsciously increased your intake and what you were experiencing was liver failure.
Out of all the diagnoses you were fearing, you honestly weren't expecting the doctor to tell you that you were pregnant.
As embarrassing as it was to admit, the moment the doctor revealed the diagnosis, it was like a punch to the gut and you vomited all over the ER floor. On the plus side, you no longer feel bloated.
"I can't be pregnant, there's no way. I haven't been intimate with my husband in a long while," you said after gulping down the water one of the nurses brought for you. "Blood tests are rarely wrong, ma'am," the doctor pulled her stool closer to you and sat down to look at you straight in the eyes, "When was the last time you were intimate with your husband?" It was both easy and hard for you to remember the last time you had sex with Wooyoung. You couldn't even call it making love because it wasn't. He fucked you to shut you up and left you alone like a washed-up carcass. The urge to scream and go crazy was high as it seemed like such a joke to get pregnant from that one time.
You wanted to laugh, scream, cry at how ironic the situation was. How when you tried so hard to grow your family with your husband, you were met with heartbreak. But now that things were verging on collapsing, you were suddenly blessed with a person you didn't even know you'd been waiting for. But your brain hadn't caught up to that point, still in disbelief and maybe even shock.
The doctor's voice was merely a murmur at that point. You couldn't focus, you couldn't really comprehend what she was saying because you were so deep in your thoughts, your bitter thoughts of the situation. You were worried because after what happened to your last pregnancy, it took you a long while to be okay again. There was even a period of time when Wooyoung was the only functioning parent, taking care of the role of both mom and dad while you recuperate. Of course, you weren't expecting to lose this pregnancy too. Who would do that? But the fear existed, the fear remained a part of you and as much as you want to shed it, it was so hard.
Nevertheless, you couldn't help but let your mind wander and suddenly flicker into hope. Hope that this baby will bring your husband back, bring him back to the way he was before the loss you both experienced. Hoping that his distance was because he was also waiting for this same little stranger.
"Hey, (y/n)!"
You turned around and saw Yunho jogging towards you, huffing.
When did you get out of the ER? You felt a buzz in your hand from your phone and frowned when you saw the message. When did you make an OB appointment?
Whatever the answer was, you immediately tried to shove your worries away and put on a smile, trying to appear normal or somewhat okay in front of your husband's friend.
Before you could greet him back, however, he cut you off, "I came as soon as I heard," he panted. "What?" you chuckled awkwardly, not understanding what he meant but slightly worried because you had thought someone saw you in the ER and heard what you and the doctor were talking about and informed other people. "How's Wooyoung? Was it really a heart attack? I heard he hit his head or something. Which room is he in?" It felt like you were the one who hit their head because you had no idea what Yunho was saying. You waved your hands in front of Yunho's face to stop his rants, "Whoah, Yunho, what are you talking about?" Now it was Yunho's turn to be confused. "I-I was informed by the academy's front desk that Wooyoung got hurt. They said they called Wooyoung in because he missed his special trainee class and they got information that he was hurt and that he was admitted here so I thought that he was with you."
In a flash, you turned and dashed to the information desk, Yunho hot on your tail. the both of you stayed close as you go up to the room Wooyoung was admitted in, worry evident in the way you both looked but it was definitely more prominent on you.
Once on the floor, you ran out first to the nurse's station before Yunho could even register that the elevator door had opened. Your hands accidentally slammed loudly on the hard surface of the counter, making Yunho and the nurses in the station to jump slightly in shock, "Hi, I-I'm looking for Jung Wooyoung, he was just admitted not too long ago," you were on the verge of crying because you were so worried and you felt and that you didn't even know your husband got hurt. The nurse checked her computer for a second before looking back at you, "He is on this floor but I'm afraid I can't let you visit him just yet. His wife is in there with him and considering the situation, we were instructed to let him get his rest first. Visitors are permitted once Mr Jung's doctor clears him and you will be notified by his wife." Your eyebrows furrowed in confusion and so did Yunho at the revelation, "That... That can't be right, I'm his wife," you said, surprising the nurse. She produced a guest sign-in form on a clipboard and muttered to herself, "I- well, there was this lady who came in with him and she told the doctor that they were in their bedroom when Mr Jung had the accident. She mentioned- I- I think she mentioned that she was his partner, s-so I just assumed she was his wife because of the ring on his finger," she meekly showed you the signature on the clipboard but it looked unfamiliar.
"Yeon Harin? That's our backup dancer," Yunho scoffed from behind you, "What's she doing here with Wooyoung?"
Dread washed over you like the water from a river in winter. The look on your face was enough to let not only the nurse who talked to you but the other nurses around know what was going on. Guilt gnawed at them when they saw your face paled and eyes glazed over as if they were the ones who committed such betrayal towards you. However, it took Yunho a moment to realize. His eyebrows furrowed and his eyes lingered on the name as his brain replayed the information he received. Dots connecting one by one, Yunho felt like he was being punched in the gut. "Oh fuck," he cussed under his breath, realizing what just happened. Realizing what his revelation of the identity did, "(y/n), a-"
Before he could ask if you were alright, you had pushed yourself away from the station, eye unfocused as if searching for a way to escape. "I... T-thank you... C-can, uh... Can I come back later with my hus- Wooyoung's things? W-what time is the cutoff time for visitors?" You did not notice it but your voice trembled, breaking slightly even as you tried communicating with the nurses in a voice so small, that they had to not breathe to hear you clearly. It was obvious that you were trying to hold yourself together, but it was also probably because you were processing the information. The head nurse pushed past from the back of the station and addressed you directly with a gentle, motherly smile, it was a shame you didn't see it. "Cut-off time is in 2 hours which will be at 12 pm and it will reopen at 6-8 pm. But for family members, there isn't really a cut-off time, I'll make sure Mr Jung's visitor is out of his room soon," at least someone had the decency to do what's right.
You didn't even remember if you told the nurses thank you because when your senses returned, you found yourself already walking back towards the elevator. "(y/n)? Hey, are you okay?" Yunho called out, making his presence and proximity obvious to you. You wanted to tell him that you were fine, but how could you? Your assumption was just confirmed in such a public place in a situation the same hour you found out you were pregnant in the same place you found out that your husband was hurt and you weren't there for him. Although his side piece was there and considering that he was with her when he was supposed to be at a very important class due to the account and his own ownership of account management, he must've prioritized her presence more. Yunho didn't press you for a reply though, he just wanted to make sure you were okay, he wanted to make sure he could give you what you needed which was tricky since he had no idea what to do. He too, was still processing the information and trying to make sense of things. Was his assumption even correct? Was his friend really that much of a monster? So when you hopped in the elevator, Yunho didn't know if he was supposed to let you go by yourself or jump in and drive you home. Were you even going home? Why were you even there if you didn't even know that Wooyoung was admitted?
When you finally spared Yunho a glance, the door was starting to close and with a smile that haunted him for weeks, you spoke, "Don't tell Wooyoung about this, okay?" and the door closed, leaving Yunho worried and conflicted because all he wanted to do was go into Wooyoung's room and demand an explanation but with what you said, he couldn't. Could he?
When you heard the door closed, your body slumped to the wall and you felt your legs turn to jelly. Your intuition was right, he was being unfaithful and his timing, as always, was just perfect because the day you found out the truth just had to be the same day you found out that you were pregnant with the baby he fucked into you so coldly. A wave of nausea bubbled up in your stomach and your chest burned. The moment the door of the elevator opened, you ran out and your legs took you to the parking lot where you vomited out the bile that was probably the physical form of your feeling. Though the pressure was relieved, you could still feel the sting and burn in your throat, the bitterness in your tongue, and the dread washing over you.
Hunched over the bushes, you found it hard to straighten up and walk. At that moment, you want everything to stop because it was too much, it was too much for you to bear to bear alone.
Mere realization was not enough because you were in denial, you wanted to believe that it was just a dream, that you were hallucinating, that your husband was not the asshole but you were for wanting him to be a monster so much that your brain had somehow warped reality and created this scenario for you to hold onto.
Honestly, you didn't know what to process first.

Tamaki strikes me as such a Mama's boy. Not in a bad way or anything but as in the type of guy who gets along with his mom more than anyone. After a few hangouts with him where he begins being a bit more open he'll probably ask you to meet her! If you get along well with his mom he'll most likely start to initiate hangouts more and more. If his mom trusts you expect outings with her too sometimes!
𝐏𝐋𝐀𝐓𝐎𝐍𝐈𝐂/𝐆𝐄𝐍𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐋↴
" Y/n this is my.. uh.. my mom. "
There will probably be a period in time where you'll think Tamaki doesn't want to talk to you when you text him. He doesn't mean to make you feel that way! Not at all! He just doesn't know how to answer sometimes, so he'll get super dry. Once you say "Do you not want to talk to me or something?" He's immediately freaking out and apologizing profusely maybe even sending you an apology paragraph! He really didn't mean to make you feel that way. After all that he'll be not only responding in a matter of a second but also indulging in conversations over text as much as he can. (Also 100% uses emoticons)
"That Grape Kid in 1-A said WHAT? I'm so so sorry! :( "
Despite how shy he is Tamaki loves kids. Not in a gross way, in a caring way. You'll probably walk in on Eri doing his makeup a few times a week. You laugh as you help him get it off a few hours later, then he might ask you if he'd be a good father. Sometimes on weekends you'll even watch Barbie movies with him, Mirio, Nejire, and Eri! Other than Eri, if you're out and about with Tamaki you can see him crack a small smile seeing kids with their parents.
"Hey.. do you.. maybe think I could be a good dad.. one day?"
Tamaki likes to bake, however he's pretty shitty at it. If you catch him attempting to bake he'll freak out and act like he isn't doing anything. That's where you take control! You help him with whatever it is he's attempting to bake and it'll draw you closer to him. Sometimes he'll even text you first with recipes or cute cookie cutters he found. His favorite flavors are probably vanilla and pumpkin. He just seems like a pumpkin guy. (I know most people would say cooking due to his quirk but imagine whipping up a batch of butterfly shaped cookies with Tamaki, isn't that ADORABLE?)
"Look at this new flavor I found! :D" (said over text.)
Tamaki LOVES flowers. When I tell you he gives them to everyone I mean it. One morning you wake up to fresh sunflowers in front of your door. You find his name shakily written on the paper holding them, maybe Eri's too. It's not just you receiving them though, he'll give them to Mirio, Nejire, teachers, and just people he genuinely appreciates. He's not too good with his words so he shows his appreciation to his friends with small gifts like that.
"Those uh.. sunflowers reminded me of you."

𝐑𝐎𝐌𝐀𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐂↴
Tamaki is touch starved. He's too anxious to let anyone hold, kiss, or even hold hands with him. Once you initiate it (yes, you will HAVE to be the one to initiate physical affection) he doesn't know what to do, so he just lets out a small squeal. You who are afraid of making him uncomfortable will ask him if he's alright with whatever you're doing and he'll just respond with a weak nod. However, on the bright side he might initiate stuff a bit more with your permission of course. What kind of boy do you take him for?
"Can we maybe... you know.. hug?"
As a lover, Tamaki's main love language is quality time and gift giving. He likes physical affection a lot, but it's just a tad bit difficult for him to express what he wants. So, every time you guys go on the simplest of dates expect flowers, sometimes jewelry, or maybe even some candy you said you loved. Speaking of dates, he'd prefer something more casual considering his anxiety. He likes lounging around with you as you both look for a movie to watch, or simply helping you go online shopping. (He'll ask if he can pay for you, if you deny he's gonna pay for it anyways.)
"N-No it's okay, I'll pay.. it's the least I could do."
I just want to say.. MAKEOUTS WITH TAMAKI ARE TOO SWEET. They don't happen often but when they do you have full power. You let your tongue swirl against his as your fingers thread through that messy indigo hair of his, meanwhile his hands rest on your chest (Not like that you pervs.) When either of you pull away he won't reinitiate the passion but he will just stare at you in awe. Sometimes he'll even ask you to pepper his face in kisses! Tamaki loves kisses once you start giving them to him.
"Can you kiss me.. like.. uhm.. all over?"
I feel like Tamaki probably has a few younger siblings, my guess is 2 younger sisters, which is probably why he's so good with Eri. Once you meet them you realize they're total opposites of their older brother. They're loud and vocal, screaming "WOAH TAMA LANDED A S/O!!" Regardless of your gender they'll ask if they can 'bedazzle' both you and Tamaki. After meeting them Tamaki will profusely apologize, he doesn't want his sisters to scare you off! Once you explain to him it's okay and you honestly love them he'll bring you to babysit them with him, because low and behold... his sisters absolutely adore you!
"The girls asked if you could.. hangout with t-them."
No matter how long you and Tamaki have been dating.. he 100% talks about you to Fatgum and Kirishima. He just has the best S/O! You're so kind, patient, and caring to him and are the only thing running through his mind some days. Kirishima tells him hes so manly for loving you as much as he does and that you're a very lucky person. Fatgum laughs at the indigo haired boy, he's never seen a teenager so lovestruck. Tamaki will probably take you to an agency party if one gets held. He stands by your side the entire time and by the time Fatgum finds him he immediately says "Is this the one you're always talking about?"
"Hey you must be the one Tamaki's always talking about!"
"I d-don't know what he's.. um.. talking about."

𝐓𝐖𝐬: nsfw obviously, CHARACTER AGED UP. Loss of v card, oral, hair pulling
Tamaki is shy. Very shy. You're probably the one he loses his virginity too. He's embarrassed to admit it, but just adapts to what you're into as you guide him. When you show him what pace you like as he goes into you he LOVES the way you scratch at or softly rubs his shoulder blades with your fingers. Like yes, help him either ease into this or mark his back up.
"Ngh.. can you.... rub my.. s-shoulders?"
Tamaki's quirk requires eating, and a lot of it. He's had to eat a lot of different foods and lets just say, boy is this guy good with his mouth. He loves going down on you, he loves showing you that he can make you feel so good. However, he likes it when you teach him. Guiding him on how to lick/suck your heat by pulling his hair. You've learned he gets a bit whiney if you're not touching his hair or gripping it whilst he gives your core the attention it needs. Sometimes he'll purposefully do it bad so you can tug his hair and put him where you want him.
"Nooo.. please.. put it back.. put your h-hand back.."
TAMAKI IS TOO CARING IN BED. He doesn't even worry about that raging ache in his dick, he needs to make sure you cum, to make sure you're satisfied. He needs to make sure you're pleased. Once you see how red his cock is due to his painful hardness you offer to take care of him but he'll deny your offer until you cum. Your sexual needs will always go above his no matter what.
"No.. no no.... you haven't.. cummed yet.."

Spencer Agnew - My Favorite Pizza Oven
Tumblr media
Summary: Spencer and Y/N spend a weekend babysitting Courtney and Shayne's son.
Word Count: 728
AN: Welcome to the first of 9 weeks of ficlets! Come back every Thursday for a little fic of Reader x Smosh! Most are Spencer x Reader but there will be a couple Ian x Reader and Damien x Reader as well!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
When Courtney came up to you and asked if you and Spencer could watch her and Shayne’s son for a couple nights so they could go on vacation you immediately said yes.
“Shouldn’t you check if Spencer is on board?” She asked.
“Trust me, he’ll be on board,” you replied. You and your boyfriend had watched Ryan for a night a few months ago. Spencer had been asking for weeks when you thought the two of you might be able to babysit again.
“Thank you so much! I’ll text you with the details.”
“Perfect! I’m looking forward to it!”
“That’s because he’s always a little angel for Auntie Y/N and Uncle Spencer,” she said.
“Because we absolutely spoil him and say yes to pretty much whatever he wants,” you replied with a laugh. “It’s our right as aunt and uncle!” You add and she conceded, joining in on your laughter.
Later that night, when you filled Spencer in on your conversation with Courtney he got super excited and started listing all the activities he was hoping to do throughout the weekend with Ryan.
You just listened and sighed, hoping Spencer would behave and you wouldn’t have to rein in two excitable children.
A couple days before your babysitting duties were set to begin, you and Spencer made a trip to Target after work to stock up on a few things for your home. You’d split up, wanting to get done quickly since it was getting late.
You always worry a bit about sending Spencer out on his own, never knowing what he’ll return with, and your fears are often valid. This time was no exception.
When you met back up, he was carrying a basket with the items on his list, as well as a Play Doh pizza oven set.
“Are you thinking of getting into crafting now?” you asked, skeptically eyeing the item.
“It’s for Ryan!” he replied. “Shayne said he’s really into play-doh lately so I thought he might enjoy it. And I figured coming in with a new toy might help him be excited for a weekend with us, rather than sad that his parents are leaving.”
“That’s a really good idea,” you replied. You gave Spencer a fond look, as you’re reminded once again how thoughtful this man is. Even after years together you continue to fall more in love with him. Even while standing in the middle of a Target on a Wednesday night.
Two days later you arrived at Shayne and Courtney’s home with your overnight bags, prepared for a weekend of babysitting. Courtney went over all the instructions again, and finally you sent the two on their way to enjoy some time alone.
As predicted, Ryan was a bit upset seeing his mom and dad leave, but Spencer quickly stepped in and showed him the new toy. It worked like a charm, and the two boys made lots of creations together.
Even better was the moment when dinner arrived. After making plenty of pretend pizzas, Ryan was ecstatic to see they’d be eating real pizza for dinner too!
The weekend went smoothly, and that plastic pizza oven went everywhere Ryan went. Including the playground. He was truly obsessed.
“I love this pizza oven!” he exclaimed during breakfast Sunday morning. “It’s my favorite!”
You couldn’t help but laugh as he reminded you so much of his dad in that moment. You had come up with a plan, a perfect way for Ryan to greet his parents when they got back home.
A couple hours later, when Courtney and Shayne walked in the front door, Ryan had run up to them, new toy in hand.
“Hey buddy! I missed you,” Shayne said, hugging his son tight. “What’s that you got there?”
“It’s from Auntie Y/N and Uncle Spencer! It’s my favorite pizza oven!” All the adults began to laugh, as Ryan practically quoted one of his father's most famous lines.
Later that night, when you and Spencer were back home having dinner, you couldn’t help but think back on the weekend, and how wonderful your boyfriend was with the little guy. Your mind imagined what your future will be like, when you and Spencer have a little one of your own. One look at him told you he was thinking the same thing, and you knew you’d picked a good one.

An Illicit Affair
Part 39: Girlfriend
Pairing: Cillian Murphy (46) x Reader (23)
Warning: Age-Gap, Taboo Relationship, Infidelity
Tumblr media
The following morning, you startled when you heard the sound of a door creaking open nearby. It was the bathroom door and you heard your father talk to your mother, just outside your room.
"Shit, Cillian, wake up!" you whispered in panic, realizing that he had fallen asleep, in your room, in your bed.
"What's going on?" he murmured until he realized where he was . "Oh, fuck," he whispered, jumping out of bed, frantically searching for his boxer shorts and t-shirt, which is all that he wore when he sneaked into your room last night.
You watched him in a daze, your heart racing as you tried to come up with an excuse for why your father would find Cillian in your bedroom, if he did and, as luck would have it, just then, your father opened the door halfway and called out to you. "Y/N, breakfast is ready. Should I get your mother to help you with, -" he said as he noticed Cillian's rumpled form, scrambling around the room in a frenzy.
"Cillian? What are you doing in here? I thought I was clear when I said that, -" your father began to say, a hint of disappointment and anger creeping into his voice as he looked between the both of you.
"I came in here and helped Y/N last night. She had a nightmare and texted me, which is what I told her to do if she needed me. It was around 4 o'clock or something and stayed with her. I am sorry. I was tired. We both fell asleep," Cillian interrupted. He lied convincingly, giving an Oscar worthy performance.
"Yes dad, you know, the painkillers I am taking, they give you really vivid dreams sometimes," you explained with a stammering voice, trying to make your excuse sound believable.
Your father's gaze softened as he looked at you with concern. "Well, if that's the case then I suppose that's acceptable," he said before reminding Cillian of his rules, nonetheless.
Cillian nodded in agreement. "Yes, of course. I am very much aware," he responded, before leaving your room to get dressed while your father got your mother to help you do the same.
Your mother's help came as a blessing, allowing you some more time to clear your head after almost having been caught by your father but, unlike your father, your mother could not be fooled.
"You are lucky that your father did not hear you last night!" she told you almost sternly, once your father had left the room.
"Oh my god, did you, -" you began to ask sheepishly, avoiding her gaze as she found you a pair of pants while you wiggled into your underwear and a t-shirt.
"Yes, I heard you, Sweetheart. Both of you," she responded before you could finish the question, causing you to blush heavily.
"That's so embarrassing," you muttered , burying your face in your hands.
But your mother just laughed gently, placing a gentle hand on your shoulder before continuing to help you get dressed.
"Honey, you've been an adult for quite some time now. I am not going to pretend that I don't know what happens between two people who are attracted to each other. Even though it is a bit awkward considering that he is twice your age and you used to date his son," she said diplomatically, allowing you to focus on getting ready for the day ahead.
"And I am trying not to think about that, thank you very much!" you muttered under your breath as you finished dressing with some struggle. "It's a very different kind of relationship that we have and it was never really meant to be, you know?" you tried to explain and your mother chuckled softly before taking a step back to give you some space.
"Well, your secret is safe with me. I won't tell your father what happened last night," she confirmed, and you let out a sigh of relief.
"Thank you, mom. I appreciate it," you responded gratefully as she walked towards the door to leave, pausing for a moment to look at you with a smile.
"I just want you to remember one thing though. He is the way he is because he loves you. He wants to protect you because he is your father. So maybe, just cut him some slack, alright?" she winked before leaving the room, leaving you alone with your thoughts.
It was true, your father's protectiveness could be overwhelming at times, but you understood where it came from. After all, you were his little girl, the one he had raised.
***
Later that day, Cillian had a surprise planned for you which would mark your first official date together. Until now, you had always been hiding away from the prying eyes, keeping your attraction and love for each other a secret from the rest of the world.
"Where are you taking me?" you asked , curiosity piquing in your eyes.
Cillian smiled mysteriously, winking at you from the driver's seat of his car. "It's a surprise," he said and whilst you were not going to press him further on this, you were somewhat shocked when, an hour later, he pulled up in front of a somewhat well-known theatre in Liverpool which was showing a play that you really were wanting to see.
"You got tickets for this?" you asked in surprise and Cillian just smiled, nodding. "But they were all sold out when I checked," you said, curiously, causing Cillian to shrug.
He walked around to your side of the car, opening the door for you and helping you into the wheelchair, which made you feel somewhat self conscious.
"Remember, I do have some connections in this industry?" Cillian chuckled as he handed the car keys to the concierge and wheeled you towards the theater, right past a group of people who were clearly recognizing him.
"You do realize that people will see us together here and they might make assumptions about us," you whispered to him, suddenly feeling very conscious about the fact that the two of you were out in public like this.
Cillian shrugged casually. "Let them assume whatever they want to assume. It doesn't bother me," he replied, his voice steady and calm.
However, deep down, you knew that Cillian was a famous actor and had been in the public eye for many years, so he was used to people making assumptions about his personal life. But for you, this was all still very new and strange.
"But you tried so hard to keep my name out of the tabloids after the accident," you pointed out softly.
"Yes, but that was different. I wanted to protect you from the media circus while you were still recovering. But now, that things have calmed down, I think that there is no need for us to hide anymore," Cillian explained as he wheeled you up the theater's ramp.
"Hang on a second," you said, looking back and reaching out to touch his arm. "So, does that mean that I am actually your girlfriend now? Or is this just-" you couldn't help but wonder aloud, your voice barely above a whisper as you looked up at him nervously.
Cillian paused, his hand resting on the arm of your wheelchair as he met your gaze with a soft smile. "Yes, I think it does," he said quietly, his eyes full of warmth and affection. "If this is what you want," he corrected himself and your heart fluttered in your chest as you felt the weight of his words sink in. "If this is what you want though, you do have to come to LA with me in a few months' time, for the awards, because I think that this is one thing I cannot do on my own. I hate attention and you tend to calm me down," Cillian admitted, running a hand through his hair, his eyes never leaving yours.
You bit your lip, your mind racing as you tried to process his words. You knew where he was going with this and you felt flattered but also terrified.
"Are you sure you want me to come? Like this?" you shook your head. "I mean seriously. It would be just disastrous," you told him, thinking about how you would hold him back during those red-carpet events, especially the Oscars.
"I am sure. I want you by my side. Always," Cillian said, his words heavy with meaning. You felt your heart swell in your chest at his words and you knew that, despite your fears, you couldn't turn him down. You loved him, after all. And he loved you.
"Okay," you finally said, your voice hushed and almost unsure as you reached up for his hand which, by now, had been caressing your shoulder from behind.
You felt Cillian's fingers intertwine with yours, the warmth of his touch radiating through the both of you. "Thank you," he whispered back before the two of you entered the grand theater together.
Cillian then helped you into your seat , placing a gentle kiss on the top of your head as he settled in next to you. Your heart fluttered as you caught sight of the knowing smile he cast you, as if he too was excited for the future that lay before you.
After the play, Cillian took you to a restaurant where you enjoyed each other's company and he certainly was showing his affection towards you now in front of others.
He would reach over to hold your hand, touch your arm, or gently caress your cheek. You couldn't help but blush at the attention but it felt wonderful, like you were walking on cloud nine.
When the evening came to an end, he drove you both back to your parents' house and, seeing that had almost been 11 o'clock at night, you weren't surprised when your father and mother were fast asleep.
He helped you to your bedroom and, just as he was about to say 'goodnight', you told him to stay.
"Stay," you demanded , your voice barely above a whisper as you looked up at him with puppy dog eyes.
Cillian's gaze softened as he met your gaze with a gentle smile. "Are you sure that is wise?" he asked as he took a step closer to you, his hand reaching out to caress your cheek. "We almost got caught by your dad this morning and I do not want to relive this kind of panic attack again anytime soon," he continued, but his eyes told a different story.
You bit your lip, your hand reaching up to cover his. "They are both asleep and I try to be quiet. I promise," you whispered back, your voice carrying a hint of playfulness as you reached up to gently tug at his shirt. "Besides, I have had the most wonderful day with you, and it would only be appropriate to end it like this," you admitted softly, feeling your cheeks heat up with embarrassment at revealing your true intentions.
"How could I possibly say no to you?" Cillian whispered, as he leaned down to gently press his lips against yours. Your heart raced as his arms encircled you, pulling you close against him. You could feel the heat radiating off of his body, and it only served to heighten your own desire.
As you broke apart for air, Cillian's gaze lingered on your lips before he spoke. "I'll stay, but we have to be quiet," he murmured, his voice low and husky.
You nodded and Cillian helped you onto the bed before undressing you, taking his time to trail delicate kisses along your skin.
His touch was gentle, yet firm as he explored every inch of your body, making you shiver with pleasure.
Your breath hitched as he reached the apex of your thighs, his skilled fingers parting you with ease before he began to explore your most intimate flesh. You moaned softly, your hands reaching up to tangle themselves in his hair as he lavished attention on your clit, circling it with his tongue before sucking it into his mouth.
"You are so fucking good at this," you moaned as Cillian got to work , his talented mouth making you forget all about the world outside of your bedroom.
Cillian hummed in response, his hands gripping your hips tightly as he held you down against the mattress. It was a heady feeling, being at his mercy while he pleasured you and you could feel yourself quickly approaching your breaking point.
You writhed and moaned beneath him, your fingers tightening in his hair as, suddenly, you heard your father's voice.

Ruben Dias x Reader - Summer Fling Part 5/10
Part 6 is out on my Patreon for free!
Tumblr media
Summary - Reader has landed a research job at a marine biology lab in Portugal. She is, therefore, staying with her sister and her sister's Portuguese boyfriend for the summer holidays. There she meets Ruben Dias who is on vacation with his friends after the 2024 Euros. However, the two meet under the circumstances in which Ruben believes that Reader is a prostitute.
Enjoy ☀️
Spot-finned pufferfish were your new favorite animals. Although cute, they were also very lethal, with the power to paralyze bodies ten times their own size.
You were back at the Zoomarine, in the aquarium tank that hosted over a hundred marine life species, one of them being the spot-finned pufferfish. You were assisting Gavin to check on the lethal sea creatures. He was chasing the fish around the tank, while you documented his findings.
"Bloody bastards."
You had to shield your computer as Gavin emerged out of the water, wearing swimming goggles and a snorkel.
"I take it that they've started to reproduce?" You giggled.
"Damn straight they have, and their kids are all menaces."
Gavin inspected a gush in his hand. It wasn't a deep cut. However, even the caressing of a pufferfish skin can be dangerous, let alone a bite.
"Here, let me." You said, setting aside your computer, grabbing some gause and a bottle of saline solution.
"At least they seem healthy."
"Well, that's good."
You inspected his hand, his finger to be exact. The cut seemed to have been made by a pufferfish baby, meaning just cleaning the wound would do.
"Perhaps next time you should join me in the tank." He laughed. "You know, help me fend for myself."
"No thank you, I'd rather dive in the ocean. I'm sure it's much cleaner."
"You dive?"
You paused to look at him.
"Like, with a scuba tank?"
You nodded. "Both my sister and I are advanced divers. It's not really a shocker since our dad is a Dive Master."
"That's awesome."
"Thank you." You smiled.
"You know, I have a boat up the coast of Albu—"
"Sorry." You said, the aggressive vibration on your phone having interrupted. Ruben's name had popped up on the screen. A text from him. It made your heart skip a beat considering that the two of you hadn't seen each other for a while because of your job. Ruben, however, made sure to stay in touch.
"Who is that, you're boyfriend?" Gavin eyed your screen.
"Erm….no." He had caught you blushing. You flipped your phone and resumed tending his wound. "It's just a friend." You mumbled. However the awkward silence between you lasted until you left the Zoomarine.
"See you monday, Y/N."
"I'll see you on monday." You waved. Usually Gavin would offer you a ride to the train station, today however, he seemed in a rush to get to his car. He drove off and left you to make your way on foot. This wasn't a problem since today, like most days, was nothing short of a sunshine paradise.
On the train you took the time to reply to Ruben's text messages as there were several of them.
Ruben: "Are you free this weekend? If you are, how about dinner?" 🤔
Ruben: "Or maybe we could just meet up at the beach club again, if that's more convenient for you?"
Ruben: "Tbh, I just wanna see you again." 😅
You grinned at the screen as you typed in your answer. You also couldn't wait to see Ruben this weekend.
********************************************
A feeling of unease washed over you upon your arrival home. Your sister's car was not in its regular parking spot down the street from your apartment building. She had left early in the morning yesterday, while you were still in bed. She had left without notice, unless you count the post it note she pinned to the refrigerator, reminding you not to piss off the mermaids at work.
Your heart raced as you walked up the path to your front door, the key trembling in your hand. You had tried to brush it off, thinking that Maki was just out with her friends or at the beach. But as the hours ticked by and there was no sign of her, your worry had grown, even more so now as you walked into an empty apartment.
You tried calling her phone, but it went straight to voicemail. You tried texting, but there was no response. And now, returning out of the front door, you could feel a sense of dread creeping over you. What if something has happened?
Your heart kept on pounding as you made your way to Diogo's house, your mind filled with worst-case scenarios. He lived all the way in Albufeira so time couldn't move slow enough as you sat on the train. If only Maki hadn't taken the car.
You had always had your doubts about Diogo, with his rough exterior and his much older age. But Maki had been so taken with him, and you had tried to be supportive. But now, as you stood outside his front door, you couldn't help but wonder if he knew something that you didn't. You took a deep breath and knocked, your heart racing as you waited for an answer. You knew that you had to find out what had happened to your sister, and you were prepared to do whatever it took to bring her home safely.
"Sim?"
You flinched as the door flung open, Diogo occupying its frame. He regarded you with usual mysterio, his expression unreadable.
"Is my sister here?" You said, clenching your purse.
"No." He muttered and almost closed the door on you had you not lunged forward, preventing him.
"Well, where is she, do you know?"
Diogo regarded you with furrowed brows, not expecting you to speak to him with such command.
"Well?"
"Work." He grunted and once again tried to close the door on you.
"What work?" You said, pushing the door open once more. But this time Diogo had enough and grabbed you by the arm, pulling you inside of his house, shutting the door behind you.
"Why do you ask?" He huffed.
Your head shifted in panic, searching for a way out since Diogo's giant body stood blocking the door. "She's been gone for two days now, haven't you noticed?"
He chuckled, showing off his severely bleached teeth. "Like I said, your sister is at work."
"What work!" You shouted this time.
"Does it matter? All you need to know is that she works for me."
"That's it…." You marched towards the door, even if it meant that you had to push past him. "...If you can't tell me where she is I'm sure the police can help me—"
You gasped as Diogo grabbed you by the arm again, this time slamming your back against the front door. "Não me teste, filha da puta." (Do not test me, bitch) His breath was in your face, the smell of alcohol almost unbearable.
"Vai-te foder." (go fuck yourself). You spat.
His eyes widened, along with the grip around your arm that loosened. He then reached for something in his back pocket, which you were almost sure to be a knife. However, the screen of his phone lit up his face, as he typed in an unknown number. Soon a female voice sparked through the other end. "Hello, baby?"
Diogo shoved the phone in your hand. "Aqui, fale com ela." (Here, speak to her.)
"M…Maki?"
"Y/N? What are you….is everything okay?"
"Is everything okay?" You frowned. "Where the hell are you, you've been gone for two days without telling me."
"Oh, shit. I'm sorry. I'm at work, I don't have my phone."
"What work?" You asked, since you had always assumed that your sister was unemployed, living off her sugar daddy of a boyfriend.
"I work at the beach club. Didn't Diogo tell you that?"
"He did not." You looked to where he had gone to sit on a sofa in the corner of the room. He looked at you, amused by what he saw.
"Anyway. "Don't worry about me Y/N. I'll be home tomorrow. Love you!" And with that she hung up the phone. There had been loud music playing in the background. Perhaps Diogo had been telling the truth. Your sister worked for him at the beach club.
"Happy now?" He smiled. An oily smile that disgusted you more than anything.
You were quick to toss him his phone and walk out the door. You rushed down the street, away from the quiet but fancy neighborhood that he lived in. You made it all the way back to the train station. There you dug up your phone and dialed the number of the only person you felt like you could trust in this foreign country that you found yourself in. "Ruben? It's me.....Is there a chance that I can stay with you tonight?"

One Month Anniversary
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Rafe Cameron x Latina!Gf
Summary: It’s yours and Rafes one month anniversary and you want to make something special and cook one of Rafes favorite foods.
Word count: 1.1k
You can proudly say life has been really great recently. You and your boyfriend Rafe had been official for a month now, and you had been planning to surprise him for your one month anniversary.
You roll out of bed still tired then ever since last night you stayed up late planning everything for today to be perfect. You walk in to the bathroom to get ready for the day.
After getting ready you check your phone and see a message from your boyfriend telling you good morning. A smile is set on your face and you can’t help but squeal a little since you’ve always liked Rafe and now he was finally yours.
You text him to come over since you have a surprise for him and he gladly says he’ll be over in the afternoon. You head down stairs to get everything ready.
“Good morning ma” you say are you see your mom at the kitchen table with your dad.
“Good morning hija. Is Rafe coming over today?” Your mom always liked you and Rafe together and she loved having him over cooking for him since she loved cooking for the people she cared about.
“Yeah todays our one month anniversary. Also I was gonna ask you if you could give me the recipe to make caldo de res? You know how Rafe loves eating it so I wanted to make it for him.”
“Of course I can, I’ll go write it down for you .” Your mom says with a big smile on her face.
After your mom gives you the recipe you head to the store to pick up the things you need to make the soup. You also grab some desserts, flowers and candles for the table so you could enjoy.
Once you get home you immediately start making the soup. You couldn’t lie and say you weren’t nervous about cooking for rafe, your love language was always doing stuff for the people you love, so you really wanted to make the soup perfect for rafe.
Once you finished making the soup you start warming up the tortillas and cut up some limes. When you were finished with everything you go outside to set up the table with decorations and to lay out the food.
After you finish setting everything up for Rafe to come over, you check your phone and see Rafe texted you he was on his way.
You quickly went upstairs to freshen up your look by fixing your makeup and hair. You changed out of the outfit you wore for the day into a cute white dress with some sandals.
You hear the doorbell ring and go downstairs where you see your mother and Rafe hugging and talking.
“Hey baby, wow you look beautiful.” Rafe says as you walk downstairs.
“Thank you mi amor.” You say as you finally reach downstairs and hug him and leave a peck on his lips.
“You guys remind me so much of me and your dad Y/n.” Your mom says while looking at you and rafe with admiration in her eyes.
You and rafe look at each other and smile while he grabs your hand and interlocks your fingers together.
“Let’s go to the backyard I wanna show you my surprise” You say smiling and drag him outside to the back yard.
“Okay so I know one month may not be a big deal to other people but I still wanted to celebrate because I love being with you and I love being your girlfriend.”
“I love being your boyfriend, and one month is a big deal to me and I love that you wanted to celebrate today.”
He leans down to kiss you and you instantly melt into it. One of your favorite things on this earth is kissing Rafe.
“Okay take a seat please.”
He pulls out a chair at the table where you set up the food and decorations.
“Alright so I know one of your favorite things to do while you’re over is to eat and one of your favorite foods is caldo de res, so I asked my mom if she could give me the recipe so I could make it for you.”
You start taking the lid of the pot with the soup inside and Rafe immediately leans in to smell it.
“Mm baby that smells good as fuck, you know you didn’t have to do all of this.”
“Yeah I know but I wanted today to be special and besides I was craving this anyway.”
You start serving the bowls of rice and put the soup on top with everything Rafe likes.
You sit down and look at Rafe nervously as he starts to taste it.
“Holy shit baby, it tastes so fucking good. I could eat the whole pot right now i’m not even kidding.”
You laugh as he starts hyping you up and hide your face in your hands since you get shy easily.
“Come on now none of that, come here.”
He leans closer to you and places his lips on yours repeatedly whispering “I love you’s” against your lips.
Once he leans away you see him reach in his pocket and pulls out a small black velvet box and places it in front of you on the table.
“What’s this?” You ask looking at him confused.
“Well it is our one month anniversary so I got you something.”
You feel your heart melt instantly at his words. Rafe was always so sweet to you.
“Aw baby you didn’t have to buy me anything.”
“I know but I wanted to. Come on open it.”
You smile at him and grab the box and open it. Inside was a gold necklace with a letter “R”. You grab it and look at rafe with your mouth slightly open in shock.
“Rafe I- I don’t even know what to say.”
“ You don’t have to say anything baby. Come on let me put it on you.
You both stand up, Rafe gets behind you and you pull your hair up so he can put the necklace on. Once it’s on he sets his hand on your waist and leaves a kiss on your neck.
You place your hand on the necklace and look up at him with slight teary eyes.
“Thank you so much Rafe, te amo.” You say while throwing your arms around his neck and he puts his hands on your waist and holds you against him.
“I love you too baby” He whispers in your ear while hugging you tighter.
You guys sit down and finish eating and end the night in your bedroom showing him how much you love him.

Lazy Genius
Request from Anon: Spencer reid x daughter reader who hates school not because anyone bullies her but because she hates doing the work
Spencer Reid x daughter!reader
Summary: You decide to skip out on a school assignment and your dad, Spencer, isn't happy about it.
A/N: Thank you for the request! Reid x daughter!reader isn't on my official list, but it's something I'm willing to write for 99% of the time. This was a challenge for me to write, as I'm a total school work loving nerd. I could not think of a happy ending for this situation so I left it open for interpretation. All requests and feedback are appreciated.
Test weeks sucked, but not because of the tests. You had no problems with tests. Test weeks sucked because for five days straight all your friends were consumed by school and you weren’t. Sure, you were in AP classes for every subject, but having inherited your father’s genius brain meant that as long as you payed attention in class there was never a need to study. So while everyone else was preparing for the academic apocalypse and your dad was out of town on a case, you were left to binge watch Doctor Who alone and wonder if someone could die of social starvation.
Ding!
Your heart leapt as your phone notified you to a message. Leaning over the table to grab your phone, you prayed it was a message from someone wanting to hang out. Unfortunately, it wasn’t.
Message from Dad:
Hey, Princess. We just got a break in the case so I should be home by tomorrow night. Your Aunt Penelope will be over to check on you later. I love you.
You let out a sigh. Only your father, Spencer Reid, would use proper grammar in a text message. You typed up a quick response and were about to put your phone down when it buzzed again. This time it was an email from a teacher.
Students, if you have received this reminder you have not yet turned in your mid-term paper. Please email me your work by 3:00 PM tomorrow afternoon. Any student who has not turned in their paper by then will receive a zero for the assignment.
Ugh. Not a paper.
For someone whose grandmother was a professor of literature, there was nothing you despised more than English. With most classes you didn’t have to put in any effort- it was all memorization and testing. But English class was just busy work and paper writing. It was dumb and you didn’t want to do it.
You opened your laptop and looked at the grade book. Having a genius IQ made it easy for you to do the calculations in your head; if you got a zero on the paper it would only lower your grade to 84% and if you kept making perfect scores on your quizzes and tests you’d have 92% by the end of the semester.
You closed your laptop and turned the TV back on. It might have been the 17th time you had watched this episode, but anything was better than writing a paper that wouldn’t affect your GPA in the long run.
---
A week went by. Spencer had come home from the case and you knew it had been a hard one for him. As much as your dad tried to leave his work at the office, his job made it impossible for him to not have fears and worries. You knew that the case must have involved kids, because he was being more sentimental than usual- trying to get home before 6 o’clock, trying (and failing) to make recipes from Rossi, double checking that you were still safe in your bed in the mornings before he went to work.
That morning, he hadn’t double checked that you were still in your room, alive and well, which usually meant that the post-case “helicopter parent period” was over. It seemed odd when you got a text from Spencer as soon as class was dismissed for the day.
Message from Dad: Meet me at the BAU now.
You felt all the blood drain from your face.
“(Y/N), are you okay?” Your friend asked.
“It’s my dad.” Your chest tightened with anxiety. The only time your dad had you come to Quantico is if he thought you might be in some sort of danger. But if you were in true danger he would have had your Uncle Derek come pick you up at school, right? You turned to your friends. “I- I’ll call you later. I have to go.” You sprinted towards the metro station, making it through the gates just in time to cram yourself onto the crowded car that would bring you to Quantico.
---
The elevator ride to the sixth floor took less than a minute, but it felt like it lasted an eternity. Your hands were shaking by your sides and you bounced on your toes, willing the metal box to lift faster. When the metal doors finally opened, Spencer was waiting for you.
“Dad, what’s going on?” You stepped out of the elevator and rushed towards him. It all happened so fast that you failed to notice that this time was different from the others.
Every other time you had come to the BAU headquarters because of danger the place was usually swarming with agents from different units, the phones ringing so wildly you were unsure how they kept up with all the calls, and the glass doors swinging open and closed at an alarming rate.
But the hall wasn’t busy, the phones weren’t ringing, and the glass doors stayed closed.
“That’s what I wanted to ask you,” Spencer said. His kind eyes were hard and his tone was stern. In his right hand he was holding a piece of paper. He handed it to you. “Would you like to explain this?”
You took the paper from him and looked down at it- it was your midterm report card. You had nearly 100% in every class except for AP English. Your calculations had been correct; you had an 84% in the class- a solid B.
“You’re mad that I got a B as my midterm grade?” you asked your dad.
“I’m not mad that you got a B as your midterm grade." Spencer remained calm, but you could see the silent anger boiling inside him. “Did you see what you got on your paper?”
You looked down at the grades again, this time, reading the fine print.
Midterm Paper: 0%, F. Assignment was not submitted.
“Oh.” Your voice was void of emotion.
“Why didn’t you turn in your paper?” Spencer asked.
You sighed. “If I keep getting hundreds on my tests and quizzes I’ll get a 92% in the class, which is an A so it doesn’t actually matter.”
“What actually matters is that you put in the effort, (Y/N).” Your father’s gaze grew harder, boring into you as if you were under interrogation. Spencer wasn’t like most parents who got loud when they were angry- Spencer got quiet. He got quick. He got intense. “This isn’t a result of a lack of understanding. You didn’t put in the effort. You had an assignment and you didn’t do it on purpose because you knew you could get around it.”
“Yeah,” you said, your voice dripping with sarcasm. “It’s called being smart.”
“No, it’s called being lazy.”
His words hit you like a bullet. His anger and disappointment you could handle, but never once had your dad made you feel insulted. You knew it came from a place of love and worry, but that didn't make it hurt any less.
Your voice began to crack and tears stung your eyes as you spoke. “Dad, I-”
“I don’t want to hear it, (Y/N),” Spencer said. “Give me your phone. Garcia is blocking every number that isn’t an emergency contact until you get your act together.”
There was no point in arguing. You handed your dad your phone. He gave you a long, hard look before walking down the hall to Penelope’s office, not once turning back to look at you. When he came back, Garcia was following him. She gave you an apologetic look before she left through the glass doors, leaving you alone with your dad again.
Spencer threw his coat on and slung his satchel over his shoulder. You knew that was your cue to follow him to the elevator. The two of you stepped into the elevator together. The metal doors closed in front of you.
A beat of silence.
“I’m sorry, dad,” you said. “I’m not like you. I don’t like doing school work.”
Spencer sighed. “Sometimes we have to do things, even if we don’t like doing them.”
It was such a dad thing to say, but not a Spencer Reid dad thing to say. You tried to keep calm as you said quietly, “it’s still not going to affect my GPA.”
“It doesn’t matter, (Y/N)." Spencer blinked, long and slow. “Nobody likes a lazy genius.”

Chapter 10
Masterlist

<A unsure coming back.> <Trembling start bring results.> <Risk addition.> <A good start for a team in struggling.>
The headlines altern each day. After winning the competition just for 2 points the next two months I receive praises, good wishes along with sharp comments, inquisitive words and a lot of questions.
We just traveled to Madrid for another one, Olivia and one of the boys already had their ticket for the Olympic Games; in this competition, Charlotte and Matt expect to have theirs.
And, one more time for a surprise, Matt and I will be searching for the qualifier.
“Are you nervous?” Olivia asked, sitting next to me in the plane, still her eyes closed.
These months a lot of things have changed between Max and I; the video calls were oddly still we keep in contact for a constant chat. Knowing he has two weeks off, I asked him to please come and he agreed right away.
“Happy.” I smile and close my eyes for sleep. “Really happy.”
The week passes in an intense movement, going from one side to the other, practice and getting ready with windy weather. I expect Max and Charles come, I invited him because among all the drivers he’s turning in a good friend; I also invited Anton but he said it has a lot of patients in waiting line and it will be impossible to come but he is clear his agenda for coming to the first competition of the next year, and of course all my family is already here.
<You have this!> It's my morning text before I start to prepare along with a photo of him wearing the customized cap Mia sent him, same as mine but instead of the fish she changed it for a small red heart.
My first competition it's for the individual pre qualifier. If I win this, it isn't just a gold medal, it is to secure my position in the first round of the qualifier, next year.
The strong winds make it hard to keep the bow steady, in a second the right spot could be already gone.
“Ok, you got it, strong and stable.” Liam talked softly to me after a shoot.
I stole a glance to the terraces but I didn’t get a full view of everyone. The sound of the keyring against the chest guard reminds me he is there somewhere in the crowd.
The light on the score announces the final score. 39 - 36.
<Y/N won the gold and secured her position in the first round for the Olympics. WHAT A DAY!> I scream and Liam raises me, it's the first medal, the first after two years fighting.
With tears in my eyes and huge smiles on people's faces as they give flowers with the gold medal hanging on my neck I look for Max in the crowd as the ceremony concludes. After all the protocols finished I met with friends and family, all so happy for my win.
“Congratulations Y/N, totally deserved.” Charles hugs me, but the absence of Max with him starts to worry me.
“Where is Max?” Charles looked at Alexandra but she smiled at me, sadly.
“Oh, he… He… Am, couldn't come. He was stuck on something and he… well he…” I feel a knot on my throat.
“He couldn't come?” Max said he was here. “He wasn't here?”
Charles shook his head, pressing his lips together. “I'm sorry.”
I look for my cell phone expecting to find missing calls or a text that helps me to understand, but nothing on the screen, just the photo of Max we took wearing his race suit as he lifts me from the floor after winning.
“Sweetheart.” Dad calls me after seeing my rushing movements, My family expects to meet him, Mom jokes about dad promising her he will behave. “Y/N…”
Max knew how important this is for me, he knows.
“I just…” Mia surrounds me with her arms at the level of my waist. “He knows, right?” I feel everyone's eyes on me. “He never dumped me.” I whisper, the tears cloud my vision.
Liam knows what to do, so he took my cell phone from me during the day, for I keep focus on what I have to do. Tomorrow Matt and I will be looking for the qualifier in couples, there is not a second chance, not for this.
“Promise me you will try to be ok?” Liam holds the phone before giving it to me in the door of my hotel room.
“He called?” It's the only thing I need to know.
“A couple of times.” Liam answered honestly. “He must have a reason, call him.” He gently squeezed my shoulder. “But, rest, ok?”
Max was expecting because at the first beep, he answered right away.
“I don't even know what to say.” And the truth is I don't have any words either. “The sponsors changed all at the last minute, I don't tell you anything because I don't want you to be nervous or anything at all, I'm so sorry.”
It’s one of those moments where you're deeply drained that any tears roll.
“It's an important days Max. At least I would like to know from you. I'm hurt and confused.” I take a deep breath, right now and with a qualifying tomorrow, this is the least thing I need.
“Y/N… Shit I'm sorry, I get suddenly stuck and I…” My dad’s words came like a bullet to my mind.
“Max, I hate myself for telling you this but, I know your career is important so mine…” He tried to talk but I kept talking. “I need to know I count on you in crucial moments, that you know you can tell me anything…” Suddenly I have a river of words in my head but none refuse to come from my mouth. “And now, I'm not feeling you with me.”
He didn't speak. “I need to sleep, I'll talk to you when this is over.” I said as I pressed the red button.
<Struggle, that’s how we can describe this first round. Yesterday she looks strong but now, this is going down to a cliff if they don’t recover on time.>
I barely hit the 8 two times making an abysmal difference of points between the other team and us.
“Y/N. I need you here.” The words of Matty, the sound of his voice and his eyes begging it's something I have never heard and seen before. “Please, just today. Please.”
The bell for us to take our position one more time combined with his big eyes cause an awful feeling in my chest.
<Don't let anyone make you abandon your dream.>
Matt shot first, 9; before I took position I took a look at the terraces and I saw my family, the girls soft smiles and thumbs up.
I’m so close to my dream.
<What a comeback! One more round, just one final shoot the difference could increase or lessen.>
“It’s good Matt.” I say in a low voice after stop feeling the wind blow, he takes a couple of seconds and releases, 10.
He smiles and we bump the side of our hands, with that 10, the difference is for 2 points, but the girl on the other side made a good shot and reduced it, one more time.
“You have this.” Matt says, all above 9 give us the golden ticket.
My hands start to tremble, I take out all the air in my lungs before raising the bow. “It’s ok, steady.” Matt said as I looked for the right spot, and for the first time in all the competition I didn't think too much and let it go when I found the perfect spot.
The score light in 9 but with a smile asterisk at the side, it will be for a review. If the judges consider it’s inside of 10 or it keeps the 9. Liam gets down his hands for we take it with calm; the slowest 10 seconds, they analyze and give the verdict.
Matt surrounds my shoulders with his arms, then the score lights, 10. I could avoid screaming and hugging him, we have the ticket for the Olympics.
“Omg, thank you, thank you Y/N.” Matt keeps whispering at me as he hugs me tighter. “Thank you so much.”
We split and he has tears in his eyes and that glow when he feels utterly happy. The dream of two small kids who spent days training as they lost hanging out with friends, parties and trips. Being in pain late at night but waking up to try again, now becomes a reality. Liam goes and hugs in two in one, repenting how proud is from us. I bet in that moment as us he didn’t see two adults, he saw those two little kids who took under his wings, years ago.
When we split we see our families and the team scream at us and clapping; their throats will be sore tomorrow.
Late at night when all the archers and coaches were in a dinner organized by the different federations. The ambience is calm and cheerful, it's the last competition of the year, and a lot of them will be out for the next event, a small tournament for fundraiser for the huge events of next year.
“It’s great. I’m look at you, you look dangerous.” A guy we met from years ago, Arthur, congratulated us.
Matt and I smiled at each other, then Robert touched my arm so I went with him. “Sorry, you have a call.” I narrow my eyes. “In the reception, is Max.”
I deliberately avoided Max’s call, I replay his congratulation message but that’s all. I’m mad and I’m afraid things could go out of control.
“Oh, thanks… I…” Robert presses his lips together.
“I could tell them, you’re busy.” I shake my head, but also I don’t want this start to turn in something surly and full of friction.
“So the rumors are true.” Olivia entered with her bow ready. “All these weeks you've been arriving at what? 3 of the morning.”
Trying to clear my head, I arrive early in the morning, do some exercise, go out for my run and come back when the team is here for practice.
I scoff putting the bands on the floor. “Are you all right?” Olivia asks, watching me closely. “Y/N we’re more than a team, you know that.” I see her straight to her eyes. “We’re family.”
“I don’t know what I’m doing.” My voice cut, and then I told her everything.
My confusion about my relationship with Max.  I love him, I know that and I have been able to deal and accept all that surrenders us, but maybe I accept too much. The noise of the media has been around the fact Max wasn’t able to go to my competition; beside they saw Charles, my absences from the races; put pressure on me before and with our last “talk” all increased.
I thought I was dealing with that but the truth is I just let it pass, but after the small crisis in the middle of the competition and saw how Matthew looked at me the glass spilled.
Matt never begged me to keep focus because he knows I put my mind and body where they must be but that day all my thoughts were with Max and realizing the lack of communication we had. Those eyes with the way Robert sees me on a big night and the relief of Anna and William when they congratulate for winning, like they already expect a failure, start to make them stay awake at night.
“Maybe my dad was right, and that terrifies me, understand for a second I am starting to put my dreams aside.” We were sitting cross-legged on the floor. “I don’t blame Max, it’s impossible… It’s me, I can’t handle it all and it's begging to consume me.”
Olivia grabs my hand. “You know, once I heard that the biggest act of love is letting go; not because of an act of cowardice just because you know being together is hurting each other more than giving you peace and calm.”
I sniff my nose, the tears start to roll. “Whatever you decide, you and only you know what is the best for you.” She hugged me patting my back, that was enough for me to cry in a river with her, it took me a while to calm down.
“Ok, ok, let’s begin this!” By the time Charlotte and everyone arrives, my eyes just were a little swollen but I already calm. After this week of practice we will have a free week and then we go back training with a little bit more intensity.
We practice for 7 hours until we run out of batteries. “Do you know where you are  going?” Marie Anne gave us a bottle of water, one by one telling her, when it was my turn. “Y/N?”
“Monaco.” Matt knows what is coming for the way he nods.
The weather is not with me, it’s cold, really cold, I felt my hands as ice even though I have gloves and I keep my coat stuck to my body.
“OMG, Y/N?” Lando was scared when he saw me sitting in the door of Max’s house. “What are you doing here?! It’s freezing.” I stand but he is already calling Max “scolding” him.
He finished the call, rolling his eyes. “I’m sorry, he took Sissy and Jimmy to the vet but he’ll be here as soon as he can.”
“He didn't know I’m coming, it's fine.” Lando saw something in me that made him shutter his next question.
“Do you need…?” I shake my head, faking a smile.
“I’ll be fine.”
Max arrives running with a probably dizzy Sassy and Jimmy to be shaken by their owner. “Sorry, sorry, I didn’t know you were coming.” He opened the door and let them walk in the house. “Thanks Landon.”
Lando waits with me until Max arrives but realizing something linger above us. Even though he tried not to mention the competition that everyone knows Max was missing, he congratulated me and wished me the best.
“It’s fine, don’t worry, I’ll tell Charles you’re busy today.” He lifts his bag and paddle racket, Max just presses his lips together and I get inside of his house.
“Give me a couple of minutes, I’ll take a shower and I’ll take you for dinner or we can order something, wh…” Max starts to practically run to the stairs.
“Max. We need to talk.” Max stops dry. It’s hard to recognize the moment we’re about to get through.
“Please don’t say it.” He gets down his head. “Just…Please.” I grip my coat to avoid going and hug him, seeing a worried expression in his face. ”We…we’ll figure out, like always, just, please.”
Sassy walk and rub against my leg, making me close my eyes and bite my lip before talking. “I want to stop. I’m so sorry.”
Max turns around and walks faster to where I am but I take a step back, touching him will make me crumble. It’s been months since we saw each other face to face and touched each other, it could make me regret my words.
“I’ll try, I really try but I don’t want this to hurt you, hurt me… Hurt us.” I wipe the tears. “I hate feeling the way I felt when you don’t come, the anger to you, the deception, the broken heart.” He tried to speak but I raised my hands. “I know, believe I know and I understand this is part of what you do and what you are. I wouldn't change a little single thing about you.” I fake a smile even though my throat is closing. “And I don’t want you to change just because you think that’s what I need.”
“Y/N, I… I’m not changing anything about who I am, believe me I just, I just need to make some adjustments and try, we can keep trying, that's what we do.” The step he takes, I take it back.
“I almost let down one of the most important persons in my life, just because I wasn't able to be in the moment I needed to be… I almost let my dreams fade away, because I was too worried about what I could say wrong, what I could do wrong and what changed between us.”
Max shakes his head, it’s a low hit but he won’t let me go. “I have a big year coming, and I need to know you’ll be there when you say you will.”
He opens and closes his mouth. Thankfully his cellphone in the table beside us lights on. “Fuck!” Max whispers, it’s the Red Bull Team.
“See?” Max turn it off. “Can I count on you not to go in the middle of one of my competitions? That you won’t dump me on an important day? That you will tell me anything at any moment?”
Max remains silent, breaking my heart. “I think that too.” I pet Sassy and Jimmy. “I don’t want us to create hard feelings toward each other, I care about you and I’ll always cheer for you, no matter what you do… but if we continue like this…”
Max rubs his face before raising his voice. “How can you… How can you ask me to give up to you?” He reaches the limit of his patience.
“I’m not asking you, I’m telling you I’m the one who is giving up. The one can’t go on. Please, respect my decision.” He shook his head.
I turn around ready to go. “If…can we take time? You are in an important moment and I wasn't with you as we talked about but…” He walks closer but stops avoiding touching me, his eyes try to find something in mine to hold on. “I promised you I'll be there for you, always.”
I face him one more time. “You were.” I smiled at him. “You always were but I want more, and I won’t settle for less.”
“Y/N…” I tried to control the sobbing but it was useless.
“I’m exhausted Max.”
Between those words the lie and truth get twisted.

Tumblr media
As much as you loved being back at your job, you hadn’t missed days like these. Your and Marc’s plans to take Nyla to the Discover Children’s Story Center were promptly and thoroughly ruined when your boss called early this morning, a Saturday, and demanded you report into the office for an emergency meeting. You were in charge of one of your company's largest accounts, which while it came with lucrative bonuses and more challenging, fulfilling work, it also meant dealing with your superiors’ neuroses.
Your husband patiently listened to your laments while you got ready to go into the office. You wanted nothing more than to tell them to shove it, but your family was swiftly outgrowing your current place and you needed every penny of everyone’s salaries – yours, Marc’s, Jake’s, and Steven’s – to afford more space in the overpriced and cutthroat London real estate market.
“We can go another time,” Marc tried to downplay the inconvenience as you finished primping in the living room mirror to look office-presentable and he fed Nyla breakfast.
“I know it’s not a big deal, it’s just–” you slipped on a pair of loafers and huffed, “--it’s the principle of it you know? Graham and Nigel are both middle-aged divorcees, they don’t have families they care about spending time with, so we all suffer. In-person too.”
“Which is why you have to hang in there and get promoted so you can change things,” your husband reminded you. He turned to Nyla, “We’ll find something to do just the two of us.”
“You’re right,” you conceded. “But can you blame me for wanting to spend every second I can with this chunky monkey?”
Rather than waiting for Marc’s reply, you peppered your daughter’s plump little feet and legs with kisses in her high chair. She squealed in delight at your affections, flailing her hands in delight and sending her banana slices flying.
“Thanks,” he harrumphed at the additional mess.
“Sorry,” you apologized with a kiss to his cheek before you pulled on your jacket and grabbed your bag.
Nyla proceeded to slam the tray of her high chair and shrieked even more when she saw her mom was leaving home without her. Marc knew he’d be dealing with an irate 16-month-old if he didn’t handle this right.
“Okay, come here little girl,” he freed his daughter from her seat and scooped her in his arms. “Let’s say goodbye to Mommy.”
They met you in the doorway and your baby’s sweet, cherubic face, currently with banana smeared across it, tugged at your heart strings. You wanted nothing more than to text your bosses to go fuck themselves, how dare they take you away from your baby any more than necessary, but you were tolerating these nightmare men ultimately for Nyla’s benefit. “Mommy will be back soon sweetie, be a good girl for Daddy.”
“Wave bye-bye Nyla,” Marc encouraged her, modeling the gesture himself. After a few moments of watching her father, Nyla mimicked his wave. It was the cutest thing you’d ever seen. “Bye-bye Mommy, we love you, bye-bye!”
“Bye Smushy, love you so much,” you waved back at her, swooped in for one last kiss on those chipmunk cheeks, then addressed your husband. “I’ll text you when I’m free, honey.”
“Sounds good, babe,” Marc murmured and pecked you on the lips.
Leaving the two of them felt akin to a death march as you exited your building for the Tube. No matter how big Nyla got, you always felt an ache when you left her. Even when she was in the more than capable hands of her doting dad, being apart from Nyla felt as if there was a piece of you missing. It was easier to cope with when you were sleep-deprived or your daughter was driving you crazy, but you and Marc’d had such a lovely morning with her.
***
It was a herculean effort for you to maintain a professional veneer during the meeting with Graham, Nigel, and a few fellow godforsaken colleagues. Thankfully, assuaging their concerns about the account didn't take more than an hour and a half. You just needed to send a few “urgent” emails and then you could return to the quaint, quiet weekend you’d been enjoying with your family.
You immediately fired off a text to Marc once you left the conference room.
From me: Leaving here in 10!
From Hubby: K, we’re at the park.
Marc was the “coldest” texter out of him and his alters. Steven loved his emojis, while Jake messages were always a mix of English and Spanish with an abundance of typos in both languages. He wasn’t much of an emoji user, though he did love the smirking devil one. It was usually fitting, after all. Boy loved to sext. You’d tried over the years to hammer into Marc’s brain that ending texts with a period meant that you were either angry or a psychopath, but it was a lost cause.
Today Marc redeemed his unintentionally icy text by sending a photo of Nyla on the swings at Dulwich. You were impressed that he’d not only managed to dress your daughter in an outfit that wouldn’t get her seized by the local safeguarding children board, she sported an actual hairstyle to boot. You detested the phrase, but Marc was blossoming into quite the “girl-dad”.
From me: PIGTAILS!
From Hubby: Steven helped with those.
From me: Well done, you two! See you soon xx
***
When you arrived at Dulwich playground, you spotted Marc and Nyla before they saw you. You took a moment to covertly observe them, marveling at how attentively the man who was initially afraid to hold his newborn was now playing with his daughter. He followed her every move, steadying her with gentle and firm hands when Nyla needed it, encouraging her the entire time.
Turned out you weren’t the only one admiring Marc with Nyla. You’d be the first to sing the praises of Marc’s butt, and with him bent over tending to his daughter as she toddled around, you couldn’t exactly blame the mums and nannies that were enjoying the view.
You approached them before it got creepy and announced yourself with the exclamation, “Is that my big, beautiful girl?!”
“MAMA!” Nyla launched herself at you and you swept her in your arms at once.  You dotted kisses all over her face, and lifted her up above your head, earning a peal of ecstatic laughter. Then, just like that, she was squirming to be released.
Marc sidled up to you once Nyla’s feet were back on the ground to ask lowly, “Do I get a kiss?”
“Hmm, let me see.”
He got a kiss alright. One with tongue and that included your hand wandering into the back pocket of his jeans to give one of those luscious ass cheeks a squeeze. Were you marking your territory? Maybe.
“Now, that was not playground appropriate,” he panted when you broke apart.
You shrugged your shoulders and answered in a voice that was not one bit repentant, “Oops.”
“Mama!” Nyla banged on the thick plastic of one of the playground’s slides.
“Apparently the first fifty times we went down together weren’t sufficient,” Marc observed wryly.
“Of course not,” you laughed and passed him your bag to hold.
Twenty minutes with Nyla and all of your work frustration was forgotten. The three of you ended up spending the remainder of the afternoon at the park, stopping to pick up a pizza for dinner on the way home since neither you or Marc felt like cooking.
Later, your husband tucked Nyla in while you wrapped up a few outstanding emails on the couch. You met Marc just outside of her door and collectively tip-toed into your bedroom.
“That was impressively fast,” you remarked once it was safe to speak at full volume.
Marc emerged from the en-suite with his toothbrush in hand. “The playground tired her out thankfully.”
You sat up on your knees from your spot on the bed. “You can’t blame me for wanting another baby when you’re so good with her.”
You and your husband had begun to discuss Baby Number Two. While Steven and Jake were on board, Marc was the hold out. The last thing you wanted to do was pressure him since you suspected his reluctance was out of lingering fear and trauma from his past.
“Steven and Jake just want to knock you up so they can milk your tits again.” Marc earned a little shove from you for that statement, but he continued, “Also you said you wanted to be in a bigger place before we had another?”
You cursed Marc and his stupid memory when he disappeared back into the bathroom to brush his teeth.
He joined you on the bed, and you tucked your fingertips under his T-shirt to strip it off. “How about we compromise then, and you pound that big cock into me instead?”
Your husband groaned, both from your naughty suggestion and the touch of your hands flitting from his chest downwards. “Shit, I hope she stays asleep because I’ve wanted to fuck you raw since that move you pulled at the playground.”
“Hmmm, I can feel it,” you purred, wrapping your fingers around his growing erection. “Watching you take such good care of our little girl made me so wet.”
“Lemme see,” he grunted, momentarily removing your hand from his dick to knock you back among the pillows.
You spread your legs as soon as your back hit the mattress, and Marc wasted no time hiking up your nightgown to get a glimpse of your folds. A low, aroused rumble resonated from his chest at the sight, compelling him to trail kisses up the inside of your thigh.
“This little pussy is always so pretty and glistening for me,” he growled.
“Marc,” you sighed, your voice thin while he touched you. “Wanna suck your cock.”
Your husband didn’t have to be told twice. He manhandled you on top of him, leveling your eyeline with his throbbing dick while he lined up his mouth with your entrance, which was currently clenching in anticipation. You drew his length between your lips and swirled your tongue around its head, tasting the salty pre-cum that had begun to leak from it. Marc groaned at the stimulation and sank his face into your pussy in turn.
Together you made the most divine feedback loop of pleasure, your slurping around Marc’s member, spurring him to lap at your folds all that more enthusiastically. It was nearly impossible to focus enough to apply any technique to sucking your husband’s dick when he was tongue-fucking your hole and drinking down your ample nectar like a man starved. His deep moans reverberated against the wet, sensitive skin between your thighs, bringing you even closer to the orgasm steadily building within you.
You choked on your husband’s erection when he landed a slap on your ass, then moaned around him when the large pad of a calloused finger found your clit. The extra stimulation, in addition to Marc’s tongue swirling inside of you, is what you sent over the edge. Your eyes crossed, dick still in mouth, as your peak swept your body from head to toe.
The force of your climax meant you needed to pull off his manhood to get sufficient oxygen into your lungs. Just when you’d recovered enough to resume your worship, Marc tapped your thigh to stop you. Though your husband was usually all too happy to come in your mouth, tonight was different.
“Need your cunt,” he clarified with slurred, pussy-drunk words.
“Fuck…okay,” you gasped, your voice rough from having your husband’s dick down your throat.
Maneuvering you onto your back amongst the pillows was an easy task for Marc, your body made pliant and prone by the delicious orgasm. He leant down to share an absolutely filthy kiss with you, greedily tasting the tang of the two of you together, before he locked eyes with yours. Only once your dilated pupils had found his did Marc drape your leg over his shoulder and slide home.
You rewarded him with a drawn-out keen, writhing under his dark, suffocatingly hot gaze. He began with slow strokes, grinding himself against your pelvis, luxuriating in being one.
“So deep, daddy,” you whined. Speared on his cock, your frame convulsed when he undulated against you, since your slit still felt like a live-wire after your orgasm.
He rocked even more torturously slowly where you were joined, circling those sinful hips so you could feel every inch of him. “You like it?”
“Uh huh,” you gasped, jerking once again from oversensitivity.
Your husband transitioned to a faster pace to impale you on his member. His increase in tempo earned a euphoric whimper from you. With no orgasm to chase, you could simply revel in the sensation of his dick filling you over and over, losing yourself in the stretch of your pussy around his thick girth.
“Yeah…come on, take daddy’s cock,” he snarled as he thrust into you, backing off his ferocious rhythm some. “So fuh-fucking tight.”
“So big,” you whimpered, pretty sure that you were about a minute away from vibrating out of your skin.
“No one fucks you like daddy, right?” Marc slowed, waiting for your answer before driving into you any further.
You shook your head so rigorously, your cheeks collided with the pillow as your neck thrashed back and forth. “Please daddy, pound my pussy!”
He approved of your response with another growl, “Well, since you asked so nicely,” and resumed a punishing pace.
From there, it was a blur of the sound of skin slapping skin, Marc’s grunts, your cries, and your husband testing your flexibility by stretching your leg back to get a deeper angle before his hot cum was painting your walls.
Marc straightened up after emptying himself into you, pressing a small, reverent kiss into the skin of your ankle before releasing your limb.
Honestly surprised that you could formulate words, you somehow commented, “I know the jury’s still out on a second kid, but you are damn good at making them, Marc Spector.”
“As are you, Mrs. Spector,” he echoed, collapsing back on the bed.
He tugged on his boxers once again, and you pulled your nightie back down as you padded to the bathroom to clean and relieve yourself. Marc followed suit, and when he reunited with you in bed, it was important to you to confirm, “Another baby or not, you know you’re a great father, right?”
Usually Marc would deflect with a (often dirty) joke, but this time, shrouded in the darkness of your bedroom, he replied quietly, “I hope so.”
“You are,” you averred and snuggled closer into him. “It’s not just me either, the entire female population at the playground was salivating over you playing with Nyla today.”
“So that’s why you greeted me with that pornographic kiss,” he chuckled.
“You’re mine,” you shrugged, not one bit ashamed of your actions.
Marc pressed a kiss into your hair, “That’s right, baby.”
A/N: Raise your hand if you’ve been personally victimized by Oscar Isaac not putting a baby in you 🙋‍♀️ I’m doggedly making my way through these prompt fills, thanks to everyone again for your patience and support!
