TMNT 2012 MIKEY DATING HCS
Usage of the pronoun she, one usage of y/n, swearing kinda, Mikey being adorable, nothing else.
Alot of ppl don't write for mickey yet he is the most loved one
Tumblr media
You guys met at Mr. murakami's restaurant. You always preferred going to places at night because it was quieter and the scenery was nice.
Mr. Murakami had added these pizza pocket things to the menu, and you had to try it out. As they say, great minds think alike, and Mikey had the same idea. He had been tired of his brothers always eating all the takeout he got, so he decided to sneak out to go get some for himself. He then bumped into you.
The silence that followed after you guys locked eyes was so long that you would have thought you two were mute. Like you are mainly confused. Should you run? Should you be scared? Should you dap him up??
He is sitting here like,'What did Leo say you should do when you get spotted in public?'. He tried to act like a turtle but was unaware of what sounds a normal turtle makes because they are mainly quiet. So he stuck with:
"Turtle turtle"
"What the actual fuck-"
It was safe to say that it was a confusing start. You both were starving, tho so like you two shook hands, became friends, and ate pizza pockets together.
When you two became wore acquainted, he is absolutely CLUELESS on his crush on you. Like wdym yall are just homies. Like he just fw that much. At this point, the turtles know about you, so he blabs about you to them sooooo much.
"Oh y/n is coming around today."
"She was really sad today."
"Did you know she didn't know how to skate??"
"OH she actually is learning the guitar I like it's sorta badass."
"Mikey, oh my gosh, shut up about her! Do you like her or something??"
This comment has him thinking. Does he like you? He asks Donnie for help, and Dontron indeed confirms that Mikey has a romantic crush on you.
"Oh cool... what do I do about it?"
He knows what a crush is because Donnie is head over heals for april, but like, what now? This earns a sigh from Donnie as he dumbs down what a crush is to him, and Mikey goes full-on realization mode.
I don't think he would immediately tell you. I think he will just keep that information in mind but still make it very obvious cause he doesn't care. Like help you out and stuff. Complimenting how good you are at stuff. Sprouting out sentences that imply that he likes you.
"Yo! Your boots look absolutely fire today."
"I just finished the comic you told me about. It was sick!"
"You should probably get out of here dude the kraang is gonna bust the place, and I'd rather you not get hurt."
"You wanna go get some pizza pockets? Just you and me."
Like he would do this noticeably enough that his brothers have to bring it up. Like it's proper sibling etiquette. The classic "How's your girlfriend?" And "Dude, you're so in love with her!" Is to be expected.
Now, one day, he finds a roller skating park that's empty at night. He decided it would be the perfect opportunity to hand out with his favorite person. Also, to teach you how to skate.
He invited you, and you said yes. You guys go, and it's actually locked up at night. But you guys bypass the locks easily. He patiently helps you onto the bored as you pray that you don't somehow fall on your face or break something by just standing on the board with no gear except a helmet.
After a while of close calls and you two being silly, you could finally skate slowly ... with no ramps. Baby steps baby steps.
After a bit, you two sit on top of a ramp just talking about anything, really. Then Mikey confesses to you that he likes you. You say you like him back, and he's all like
"Cool cool cool nice awesome amazing sick fire totally nice."
Leave him alone it's his first time being this flustered. He usually isn't the one who would manage to get a partner in the first place.
When you two start dating, you guys become disgustingly cute. Like you guys take every opportunity to cuddle or just be physically close to one another. You both heavily touch starved. It's like you two read comics together with you up to his plastron with one of his arms wrapped around you and the other holding his comic.
You introduce him to your favorite cartoons and things and you guys have date nights where you two get alot of pizza and sweets and junk food and watch your favorite series that you had non stop thinking about in that week.
You're not allowed the battlefield mostly because Leo says this, but yeah. So, during a fight, Mikey likes to talk about you. He's clingy, is what I'm saying. He could write an essay if he had the attention span and the vocabulary.
But over all he loves youuuu. Like he really fw you. You're the type to bounce off each other's energy and match each other's vibe. It's cute but annoying for others. Poor raph....
Hope you enjoyed it. I hope you liked it. This was super cute to write. I liked it. :>
But that's all from me toodles

Deforest Kelley's Filmography
(Incomplete, 53 still to be found)
Links directly to each episode or movie for free (Because I don't believe in paying for stuff)
Most of these will be YouTube, Internet Archive, ok.ru, or other sites that should be safe, but a few are from sites with a lot of redirects, I suggest using an ad blocker. I use the Brave web browser, it comes with a adblocker.
I will put a star(★) next to any link you need an adblocker for. if it says to download an app, just switch the page to desktop mode.
Nothing has to be downloaded; if a link doesn't work, if you find an unsafe site, or if there are any other errors. please tell me. (there are a few episodes on YouTube that are mislabeled but they should be the right episode)
I am only allowed 100 embedded links per post, so any new links will be line text.
If you've found any other links to the episodes I haven't found yet, pretty please send them to me <3

why do we go back?
damian wayne x reader
warnings: anxiety, kind of a panic attack?, implied past trauma/abuse
wc: 800
~~
“I went back.”
“Why? They—”
“I don’t know. I don’t know why. I—”
“Damian, honey, breathe.”
-
Damian’s brothers don’t text you that often. You don’t have their numbers saved in your phone. Or you didn’t. You have Tim’s now.
come to the manor now. non-medical emergency
oh and this is tim by the way
You don’t even see the text until you’re done with your meeting, phone on do not disturb and notes document in fullscreen mode. It was sent at 1:30 in the afternoon. Bad things aren’t supposed to happen at 1:30 in the afternoon.
I’m on my way, you text back at 3:00. Is he okay? The response comes as you’re setting up your gps. no. then, i mean he’s fine but no. You pull out of your parking spot a little faster than you should have.
Once you get on the highway, you turn off the GPS. The number 21 exit towards Bristol and Wayne manor is nearly as familiar as your own. You’re thankful for the dozens of trips you’ve made because Tim calls you five minutes in.
“What happened?” You can feel your heart pounding in your chest. The anxiety that had taken root when you saw the first text is morphing quickly into fear.
“He disappeared.”
“What?”
“He’s not on manor grounds anymore. But he’s not in his suit.”
On top of the phone call screen, a push notification lets you know that Damian's code was used to disarm your alarm system. You let out a short breath and switch lanes. Your exit is the next one.
“I know where he is,” you tell Tim as you shift over into the right lane. It’s a little backed up, the way it always is this time of day, “I got him.”
“You sure?”
“Yeah, thanks.”
You take exit 24 towards the lower east side, then switch to an even more local highway and take exit 8 towards the residential district. When you pull into your parking spot in the cul-de-sac, your house looks empty. When you walk inside, Damian’s combat boots are sitting by the door, not unlaced all the way. One of them is sitting on its side. The other is askew. You let your bag slide off your shoulder to hit the ground next to your own shoes and venture further in.
Damian’s sitting on the steps in dark casual clothes and white socks with a paint blob pattern. His knees are bent, legs pressed against his chest. Your steps aren’t steep and Damian is very tall. Hands clenched into fists rest on top of his knees. His neck is bent too, forehead pressed against his fists.
You slide back on the wooden steps when you sit down. Damian doesn’t so much as twitch. You wait for him to come to you. He does.
“I went back.” His voice is rough but not thick with tears.
“Why?” You ask. The League leaves him with deep hurts every time he goes back to Nanda Parbat. And not the physical kind. “They—”
“I don’t know!” He exclaims like the words burst out of his chest. The energy propels him up, fingers digging into the arms of his sweatshirt as he rocks on his heels. “I don’t know why. I—”
“Damian, honey,” You stand to meet him. The emotions in his green eyes are wild, untethered. “Breathe.” He shakes his head at you, fingers curling harder into his sleeves. “You can.” Damian scans your body language and you let him, relaxing the tension in your shoulders and leaving your hands open, arms angled to hold him if he wants it.
“I’m here,” you say to the hesitation in his eyes. “You’re safe.”
You let out a grunt of air as Damian slams into you. His arms wrap around you tight enough that you think he’s afraid you’ll turn into smoke if he lets go. You raise your arms more slowly, one coming up to rub at his back and the other to cup the back of his neck. His knees buckle. You slow your descent to the ground only barely, saving your knees from catching the brunt of your weight. Your butt stings instead from how hard it hit the floor but it’s worth it when Damian buries his face into the junction between your neck and your collarbone and breathes. They’re choppy loud breaths that come with shoulders shuddering under the hand you have rubbing up and down his back, but no tears hit your neck.
“I’ve got you,” you whisper to him, cheek pressed against the top of his head. “You’re safe here.” Damian’s arms only tighten further. In response, you hold him tighter too.
Why do we go back, you wonder, when we know the only thing to come of it is more pain?

here's a few dwarf fortress adventure mode tips if you're struggling at all!
1. play a goblin. the mode is unfinished and there's no way to get food except what you start with, so play as a goblin so you don't have to deal with food and water (still need sleep tho). the downsides to playing a goblin, for the record: you're smaller and weaker than the other races. this can make it hard to wrestle things that are large, and makes you very frail under your armor - so don't fight big things without good armor.
2. don't bother with specific weapon skills at the start. my primary suggestions for skills to start with are Novice Reader, so you can read books and/or become a necromancer (if that's your groove) and, importantly, if you don't start out able to read, you can never learn to read. aside from that, my only suggestion is to take at least two levels in Observer. this will let you see how an opponent is attacking so you can counter effectively - you can't parry a dragon's fire breath, but you can block it. back to my initial point - the weapon you start with is not going to be a good weapon, and you should be seeking to replace it as soon as you can.
3. due to how combat works, your first medium-term priorities should be getting ahold of an iron chain shirt, an iron helm, two iron high boots, and two iron gauntlets. this will give you full coverage across your body. for embark, start with a copper chain shirt - cheap and plenty effective for early on, especially against animals. in addition, you want iron or silver weapons, or if your world is more developed, steel. this is why weapon skills don't matter on embark - you're not going to be able to put a ton of points into it anyways, and being a Proficient Swordsman won't help you when you find a masterwork silver whip in the hands of a random goblin.
4. NEVER sleep in the wilderness, if you can help it. you will be attacked and you will be killed. find a nearby civilization that isn't hostile to you, ask anyone in a building for permission to stay the night, and sleep there. you'll be safe from the boogeymen that way, but you're not necessarily safe from random attacks on the village you're staying in. those aren't your fault, though, and are totally random.
(boogeymen no longer attack outside of evil regions, but sleeping in the wilds still leaves you susceptible to predators - not nearly as dangerous, but still a potential threat.)
5. don't interact with elves unless you have a plan. starting in an elf civ has one big disadvantage and one huge potential advantage. elves don't use metal at all, so your only weapon and armor choices will be grown wood, which is an extremely ineffective weapon and armor material. even as ammo, wood is bad. however, if you start in an eleven civ, you have access to giant animal companions. your weapon doesn't matter when you have a giant lion on your side.
6. while in combat, don't be afraid to flee. sometimes you get in over your head. it's important to know when you're in trouble and getting out of dodge before it's too late. most importantly, if you're fighting something that gets cuts in through your armor, you need to leave. if its attacks are stronger than your armor, that means that you can get severed nerves, and those are permanent damage. when you go to the travel map and move a tile, all of your wounds are healed, except for permanent damage - it doesn't matter if you're bruised black and blue and your legs are broken, if you can get to the travel map, all of that goes away. but one single severed nerve in your ankle and you become permanently disabled and need a crutch to walk anywhere, severely hampering your ability to fight. even worse in the arm!
7. train! fight weak stuff before trying to take on strong stuff. run around the woods and chop the wings off of birds. wrestle crabs. get into fistfights with drunks. getting experience from things does not scale with difficulty, only repetition, so it's perfectly viable to pick up a rock and throw it at the floor for three hours and become a legendary thrower capable of splitting open a goblin skull with a hummingbird beak from 30 meters away, or fistfight drunken dwarves for weeks on end to become a legendary striker and punch a dragon's eyes out.
8. for early equipment, scout out camps. there tend to be some nearby any settlement, and the residents might not even be hostile to you! don't pick up everything, just things that are better than the stuff you have. it doesn't currently have an indicator, but carrying too much stuff WILL overencumber and slow you down, which can be deadly in a fight. i look for iron or silver equipment, especially whips. don't take the money, it's useless.
9. what's the best weapon? whips. due to the complex mechanics of combat, whips are basically able to totally ignore armor and simply break bones. secondarily, spear-type weapons are decent against armor, as they can punch through and cause bleeding, while blunt weapons like maces can break bones through the armor. swords and axes are not going to be useful. against unarmored things, though, swords and axes will be much, much stronger - a heavy sword swing can pretty handily sever limbs, which is an EXTREMELY effective tactic, if you can pull it off. blunt weapons will still be able to break bones, but it'll take quite a bit longer to kill an unarmored target with a war hammer than with a greataxe.
10. be patient! both in the game itself, and with the development process. this beta is very incomplete, missing extremely important content like crafting and trading, leaving you somewhat limited in what you can do. they're working on getting it finished, and what's currently available is still a whole lot! as for the game itself - sometimes it's good to take things slow. don't just wildly auto-attack things, sometimes taking a look at your attack options and potential "crits" can create an opening for you to turn a losing battle into a winning one. you can take a step to reassess and get a new accuracy roll if none of your options are good - just be careful not to leave yourself too open to counterattacks!

I wrote a short story about a FNaF Security Breach AU, you can read it under this!
Sleepy Kid (FNaF SB AU)
*Booting up...*
*Entering SAFE MODE*
Uuuh, that was quite the glitch.
Where am I?
...
I seem to be in Rockstar Row.
It seems I just got out of my room.
Hmm.
Oh! I remember!
I was hiding Gregory from Vanessa!
We must go to the main entrance before the doors close.
First, we must go through the Utility Tunnels.
...
I feel Gregory is broken.
I'll take him to first aid services.
Wait!
That's Officer Vanessa!
Quickly, get out, Gregory!
Fine! Stay quiet inside my chest then.
...
At least she let us go.
Now, we must get to the entrance!
My battery!
My battery is running out!
Where's the recharge station?
Here!
You should get out, Gregory.
Alright. I just hope you don't get electrocuted.
That'd be devastating.
...
Great! Now for the entrance!
Oh. Oh no. They're closing.
The doors are closing!
We must hurry!
...
And they're closed.
I'm sorry Gregory. They won't open until 6 AM.
We must keep moving. We can't let her find you.
But I won't be able to enter through security doors. You have to get the security badges.
You don't want to?
Hm.
I guess you can keep sleeping in my stomach.
At least you won't be found while you're asleep here.
Where should we go...
The Daycare?
I suppose that could work.
...
Wait, there were complaints about how the "Moon" side of the Daycare Attendant scared kids.
You might not like it.
Or worse, it might wake you up and you might scream.
We don't want that.
I need to appear normal.
I'll resume my security activities.
There's Chica.
Act normal. Act casual.
...
"No, I haven't seen the kid that Officer Vanessa is searching for."
"We'll keep looking for him!"
Liquid? What liquid am I dripping off?
"This is just oil. I'll get cleaned up in Parts and Service anyways."
"See you!"
There's nothing to worry about.
Why was Chica acting like that?
This is just an oil leak.
I had a glitch earlier, probably something broke off in my chest.
I just hope Gregory won't inhale the oil.
I'm sure he's fine.
I'd hear him choking if he inhaled the oil.
In any case, I'll go to Parts and Service later.
I need to keep Gregory hidden until the doors open.
...
Oh. Officer Vanessa.
...
"What trail are you talking about? It's just oil."
"No, we need to find Gregory before I go to Parts and Service."
"Okay, we'll go."
...
My elevator is out of order.
We should ask someone else so we can use their elevator.
Ah, there's Roxy.
...
No, she hasn't seen Gregory. Great!
"Can we use the elevator in your room? We're going to Parts and Service."
...
"What? I won't stain your floor."
...
"Okay, we'll be quick. See you."
...
Officer Vannesa must really care about this kid.
She has a really concerned expression.
I'm glad that she's worrying so much about his well being.
...
Wait!
If Vanessa opens up my chest cavity, she'll see Gregory!
I must hide him before that!
"Officer Vanessa, I have low battery, I should recharge before going to Parts and Service."
"There's a recharge station near the door, it'll be quick."
"Thank you!"
...
Okay Gregory, wake up now.
Come on, you need to get up and hide here.
...
I'll just put you here myself.
...
Okay, you should be safe here.
Don't make a sound.
I'll be back in a moment.
Just stay asleep like that.
...
It's just a quick cleanup.
It'll be over soon.
...
"What's wrong?"
"Blood? This is oil."
"I didn't do anything."
"I was simply searching for the kid. Nothing more."
"What trail?"
"Vanessa! Do not leave me like this!"
...
Oh no.
She found Gregory.
And I'm sure he woke up from hearing her scream like that.
...
"What?"
"Vanessa? What are you doing?"
"No, no! Don't deactivate me!"
"We need to keep searching for Gregory!"
"Vanessa!"
...
"Do any of you know where Freddy could be?"
"I don't know, maybe he got lost searching for that little guy."
"I doubt it, he would have come back eventually."
"But what if something happened?"
"Hah! Freddy wouldn't get himself into dangerous situations like that."
"Good point, but still. It's odd that he's not here yet."
"Oh! Officer Vanessa! Any news on Freddy?"
...
"Oh, alright!"
"So, what's wrong?"
"Nothing!"
"He's sleeping."

Tango day! I actually wrote a Tango bit yesterday, but decided it was too much about Evil X and Zedaph, so... let's see what I can cook. Might release that later, as it's got fun lore in it, and there's a lot of room for character development between cycles 2 and 10...
This one is set at the end of the second cycle, so waaay before the Grian fic. They haven't even quite worked out that there are cycles just yet.
Mostly based just on the stuff going on in the background as you sort the final paperwork at the end of each school in campaign mode, heavily dramatised as that's just little guys screaming and running to the edge of your screen while being chased.
Warnings for fire, fear of death, and implied minor unnamed non-canon character death
The hallways smell of burning.
Not the good burning, not a nice campfire or lava pool, the sort of burning that comes from dyed fabric and human-adjacent flesh.
Tango ducks his head out of the door, hears screaming, and then ducks back in.
The terrified faces of three first year students look back at him.
"Right," he tells them. "Okay. How to do this."
If anyone had told him that, less than a week into his new job as at a fancy university he would be having to work out how to safely get an elf, a deep one, and a vampire out of a burning building during a fight, he would have laughed in their face. Sure, Hermiton University had been attacked by the Lord of Evil a while back, but everyone had assumed it was a one off thing.
It might not be the Lord of Evil, of course, it could be anything attacking them right now.
Tango knows better than to think that anything else could stand against the hoard of friendly zombies helping them guard their gates.
"You," he points at the elf, having not even learnt any names yet - he hadn't even taken the register for his first class before all this began! "Do you know where the necromancy classroom is?"
"Um..." she looks at the others, and shakes her head.
"I do," the vampire pipes up, clinging tight to both their hands.
Tango slaps his forehead - of course the vampire, not the elf, knows where the necromancy classroom is.
"There should be a secret exit under the third coffin," a logic puzzle, Tango knows all the pieces; he starts grabbing things from his drawers. "I just need to... Push it aside - someone else might have done it already - and head down there. It should cut you through the mountain, and get you around the invaders."
He's missing a few pieces; no matter. A little fire from his hair heats his claw, and then he uses the sharp point to scratch the missing runes into cold steel.
It's not a perfect solution, but like this...
Three wards against smoke.
There's not the materials in the enchantment lab to make a fourth.
Still, he reaches out, and hands them to the three students.
"Get out," he tells them, ruining the villainous vibes of his classroom and attempts at a strict reputation.
"You're not coming?" the deep one asks.
"I'll follow," he lies. "I've just got to find the rest of my department first."
He doesn't even know who the rest of his department is - there's Mumbo, who he met a while ago, and Xisuma, the headmaster, and... Well, the fact the whole university is on fire and being attacked by the forces of evil does probably explain why the other teachers had been too antsy to talk to him.
The vampire nods, and grabs the other two's hands.
Tango rifles through his half-unpacked boxes of stuff. There should be, if he can find it...
The door slams shut as the three students leave.
There!
Tango isn't really sure what he is supposed to do in this situation, but with a natural fire resistance, enchanted boots, and a belt full of potions, he's probably supposed to do /something/.
---
Doing something, it turns out, is a terrible idea. He's not good at this, especially not without the sort of backup he's used to. Tango has stolen a bow from the weapons rack in the assassination classroom, and that's his only weapon right now. His technique is entirely about buying time, still hearing screams below and panicked footsteps above; he avoids the forces of darkness where he can and, when he can't, a single shot.
If it hurts them, great!
If it doesn't hurt them, he's got speed enchanted boots, seven bottles of gotta-go-fast-juice, and a rabbit warren of a wizard's castle that he doesn't know how to navigate, but the evil minions know even less well. Having a classroom on the top floor Tango has at least seen most of it, unlike the rest.
It was going... not fine, this is not fine, nothing about this is fine - he's trapped on the upper floors, and at some point the necromancy lab collapsed, sealing the only fire escape he knows - but he was keeping ahead of the minions! Tango had been keeping ahead of the minions, but then he turned a corner and-
More minions.
He looks ahead of him, and behind him, and takes a calculated - stupid - risk.
Bottle of explodificate.
He throws it at the minions ahead of him, and doesn't stop running towards them.
The potion rips the floor open, shaking the whole tower.
Tango stumbles, but manages to throw himself over the gap.
The minions... They aren't so lucky.
Tango sticks his tongue out at them, and keeps running.
---
Nobody cannot run forever, is the thing.
Half an hour later, and the building is still burning. It is a testament to Xisuma's insistence on fireproof structural supports that it hasn't collapsed just yet - Tango doesn't fancy his chances if he does.
He's still stuck, of course, with the forces of evil below, and nothing but the sky above. The smoke is thicker, too, but he's lavaborn, he's fine with /that/.
It's just... everything else.
It's not the smoke that has him heaving for breath - of all species, he's the one it actually helps - but the exhaustion from running for so long. Right now he's hiding in a cupboard built against one of those structural supports, maximising his meager chances if the building does collapse.
There are no potions, artifacts, or tricks that will get him through an entire evil hoard. He knows his chances, he knows-
Something pulls open the cupboard doors.
With a last gasp of energy, he ducks under their arm, and darts towards-
A much stronger hand grips his arm. Tango fights, bites, and struggles, and in the end-
"Tango!" the voice cuts through. "Come on, we need to leave!"
Tango freezes, and sees the familiar form of their helmetted headmaster at the other end of the arm.
"X?"
"Um, yes?" Xisuma shakes his head. "There's a way out this way; I'm so sorry, I should have made sure you knew-"
"Running?" Tango suggests. "Apologies later, flee now."
"Right, yes, of course."
Xisuma does not let go of Tango's wrist as he drags him across the hallway, down some stairs, through a classroom, over a balcony, up some stairs, around a bend, twice around a statue, through a portal, and-
The portal seals shut behind them.
Xisuma lets go of his arm, and Tango collapses into the grass behind him.
It's finally quiet, here, with just the quiet talking of a small number of people. Tango spots a few people in student robes, and more in faculty ones, before he allows gravity to take him and closes his eyes.
"Tango?" Xisuma's voice again. "Are you hurt?"
Stupid question, of course he's hurt.
In the scheme of things, however...
"Tired," he groans. "Been fleeing. Fleeing with extra flee. Took some of Zed's potions, they always leave a headache."
Zed.
Impulse.
He suddenly forces himself up, scrambling for any sort of communicator, any way to let them know he's alright. If they hear about this before they hear from him...
Nope, no communicitifactor, and he doesn't see a postbox...
He sees... There's a field, and Xisuma is crouched next to him, looking somewhere between concerned and tense. Tango can recognise Cleo - in a giant hat, likely so they don't burn - and the man holding a giant parasol over them both must be Joe. Or is he Jevin, and the other one is Joe? Either way, they're both there, and Tango will straighten them out if he meets these people ever again. False is pretty recognisable, armed to the teeth as their assassination teacher is, and Mumbo is fluttering between people with an anxious look, and the rest... Tango hasn't really met most of the faculty, but it looks about the right number for at least most of them to have escaped.
"Tango?" Xisuma calls his attention back. "Do you have anywhere to go?"
Tango nods, and Xisuma relaxes.
"You should probably head there. When I've got a new place set up, and resources in place, I'll be in contact. If you don't want to return, though, I understand."
Return?
Tango doesn't even know what he's doing now, let alone later! But at least he can just say no to the letter, if he's decided not to by then, he should say something, what is he supposed to-
Someone else calls Xisuma's attention away, leaving Tango lying in the grass.
He'll... Find a town, and send Impulse a message in a bit. If the three of them don't just magic him back before then. That would be easier.
He just... Would like to become one with the soil now.
Hmmmmm, dirt...
Dirt sounds good.
Maybe he gets why Zedaph likes pretending to be a worm, now?

"There's something weird about that Bear."
From where Dani was sitting, seated over a laptop, she couldn't help but smirk, glancing up at kade.
"Something weird about A six foot tall, SENTIENT, Animatronic Bear that looks like the 80s threw up on him? Alert the media..."
Kade rolled his eyes, groaning.
"I'm telling you! There's something freaky about him. I don't like it."
Kade leaned against the wall, his eyes narrowed as he stared at the other end of the Bunker.
Cody, Gregory, and Frankie were helping Freddy wrangle his new charging port to an outlet, created for him courtesy of Doc Greene.
Frankie was explaining the basics, and helping Freddy connect to it, as well explaining the new Battery Doc had installed in him.
"Daddy said your new battery should last around 48 hours between each charge."
"48 hours?! That's amazing!"
Frankie smiled, taking in the impressed reactions.
"Disabling that low power mode helped, but trust me, this should keep you going way longer than your original!"
Gregory nodded, chiming in,
"Yeah, that's way better. Could've used that at the Pizzaplex..."
Kade watched them converse, and sighed.
"I just got a funny feeling. Didja notice that Gregory never said what a kid like him was doing inside that horror show in the first place?"
Dani shrugged, typing away.
"He said he needed a place to go, so he hid out in the pizzaplex, what's weird about that? a giant mall filled with Pizza, video games, and endless entertainment? The place probably seemed like paradise for a street kid his age. Well... minus the violent robots and Murderous Bunny Lady, anyway."
"I'm just saying... We've seen millions of robots, we KNOW robots. Freddy is... different. That bear is just... weird. He dosen't act like the other AI we've seen."
Dani looked up at that, and sighed.
"Do you mean how he apparently was the only Bot there who protected Gregory? I think Doc Greene said something about being spared from infection by that.... What did Gregory call it? the... Glitchtrap Virus? idk, but, i think doc said he was safe because he was booted into safe mode? Look... it is weird, i'll give you that. But Doc did run a pretty intense virus scan on him, by his own insistence, and he turned up clean."
"It's not just the virus. There's just... there's something off about him."
"What's going on?"
Graham slide down the firepole, and Kade guestured for him to come closer.
"Graham, Bro, back me up here! Is or isn't there something weird about that bear?"
".... What Category of weird?"
Graham came beside kade, watching the commotion on the other side.
Freddy cautiously stepped onto the charging port, and his eyes imediently flashed brightly.
"Charging initiated! This feels wonderful!"
Cody and Frankie High-Fived, and Gregory, while having a weirdly intense look in his eyes, seemed satisfied.
Graham smiled at the kid's raw enthusiasm, but his smiled faded as he turned back to kade.
"Weird how? I mean he is-"
"A six foot tall animatronic bear, I GET IT, THE BAR WAS LOW. Look... It's like I told Dani, something just... It dosen't feel like another tin can. He feels more like... The bots. Obviously he's not, but... I dunno."
"... I think i get it."
"You do?"
Both Dani and Kade looked over in surprise, as Graham rubbed his neck nervously.
"I mean... To be honest, Freddy does feel... Different. Not bad different, he really seems nice. But... Even if he was unaffected by the Virus Gregory mentioned, why would an Animatronic Mascot for a pizza resturant be so determined to protect a child, even fighting his fellow mascots, his friends? That's weird, i think.... I think he's honest, about wanting to protect Gregory, after all, he protected Cody back at the junkyard. But... He's not acting like an AI, like you said, he feels... Like the Bots. He feels..."
"Human."
Kade sighed, and neither Dani nor Graham protested.
"I Just don't get it... I really don't. I know I Ain't the smart one... but I am good at trusting my gut. And my gut is telling me, something's weird here. Good weird or Bad weird... I dunno yet."
Graham suddenly glanced behind him.
"Dani, you find anything?"
Dani shrugged, staring back at her screen.
"Eh. Kinda. Apparently the Pizzaplex shut down after Gregory and Freddy fled, but they're blaming it on taking damage from an earthquake, not a bear and a gremlin child going on the rampage."
"An earthquake?"
Graham frowned, holding up his tablet.
"I'll check the seismograph reports from the area, just to confirm if it's a cover story or not."
Dani nodded, scrolling more.
"Hmmm.... Says here that there's actually been a string of mystrious dissapearances since the mall's construction, but the main Coorperation, Fazbear Entertainment, has denied all involvment. But between what Gregory said, and this, It looks like they have some things to hide..."
Graham nodded.
"Agreed, sounds like they're worth looking into."
"Ditto."
Kade took out his phone, searching up everything on "Fazbear Entertainment".
"Look, just in case, I say we keep an eye on the Bear. I know Heatwave's suspicous too."
Dani smirked.
"Are you sure Heatwave isn't just jealous?"
"Daniiiiiiiiii......"
"I know, I know. Look, I agree, we'll keep an eye on Freddy for now."
"Good... The last thing i want is Cody and Frankie- Or Gregory- getting hurt."
Kade looked up from his phone, staring at the bear.
Freddy was happily answering some questions for Cody, and Frankie had surpised Gregory by grabbing his arm, and judging by how she was eyeing his... what was it called... Faz-Watch? That was a stupid name.... But given by how intently she was studing it, he had a feeling what her next project would be.
Kade shifted his attention, noticing something new on the floor.
He gently picked up a small, plushie version of Freddy, most likely brought by their new residents.
Kade sighed, and Tossed it across the room, watching it roughly tumble onto the couch, landing facedown on the cushions.
He turned away, heading for the elevator.
"I'm gonna see if Heatwave's up for a drive, I need to clear my head. be back later."
"K."
"Be careful."
Kade left the two to their research, and glanced back.
He wasn't expecting to see freddy staring right at him.
He paused, the bear staring at him, but not malicously.
He looked... Curious.
Like was studying Kade.
Then, he waved.
Dumbfounded, Kade could do little else but awkwardly wave back, before beelining it to the elevator.
Yup...
Something was definetly weird here....

Revival (1/3)
Part 2 here Part 3 here
TW: none i think idk Pairing: gn!reader and Kidd (not romantic) Summary: hike in Appalachia is a bad choice for spending free time when 1. you're alone, 2. you're known for NOT staying on any trail Word count: 2040
______________________________________________
“I don’t think it’s a good idea.” He watched his friend shove another pair of pants into their backpack, definitely too small for the planned trip. They were taking with them just one backpack with exactly two changes of clothes, a tent, sleeping bag, few cans of beans, few packets of crackers, nutritional bars and matches. He watched as the small pot got thrown on top of everything in such way the backpack couldn't be zipped up completely.
This was definitely a bad idea. Worst of the worst ideas.
“Because it’s not, Usopp. But as a certified cracker, unlike yourself, my melanin-non-deficient friend, I have the need to explore dark alleys and cursed churches. You know it best.”
Usopp clenched his teeth. Yeah, he knew. How many times they had him up and running to get them from some shady place, because they decided it was fun to spy on some shady people? How many times did they get home with scratched, bruises, sprains and full-on open wounds, just because of that stupid adrenaline addiction?
“You’re starting from Delaware River and heading east-“
“More like north-east.”
“Doesn’t matter. What matters is, you won’t come across any shelter or parking lot for another 25 miles.”
“It’s barely 20 miles, Usopp. If I walk quick enough, I’ll get to the shelter in about 7 hours.”
“Yeah, in a straight line it is. But the trail isn’t straight line. And you never walk on the trail either. That’s precisely why you shouldn’t go!” They straightened their back and put hands on their hips, staring at Usopp. “Yeah, I said it. You never follow the trail, even in normal woods. You never went hiking in the mountains before. Yet you’re going alone, three days alone on the Appalachian Trail. I’ll say it again - alone. Those mountains are older than the trees. They existed before continents broke apart! Who knows what lives there?!”
They raised their eyebrows. “Don’t tell me you believe in supernatural all of a sudden.”
“I don’t. I’m bravest man in the world and I conquered hundreds of mountain trails! You should trust my expertise!”
They nodded, small smile stretching their lips as they threw backpack on their shoulder and headed for the exit. “Sure, see you in two days, Usopp! Remember to feed the cats for me!”
The door slammed shut behind them. They didn’t even bother to lock the car. It was old, beat up, not to mention small and rusty can of garbage on wheels. No one would even look for any valuables inside something like that. With one last look, they bid goodbye to their only mode of transportation and turned around to face tall trees they looked at only from safe distance. Well, up until now at least. One last deep breath and crunch of gravel under their steel-toed boots marked the beginning of their journey.
Even if the air itself wasn’t all that warm, especially once they walked deeper into the forest, they felt sweat trickle down their back, making shirt stick uncomfortably to their skin. First fifteen minutes were the worst, the hardest part about hiking or even walking in general was to choose the best possible pace. Once that was done their body locked into automatic mode, so they could enjoy the nature. No bugs bothered them thanks to the spray Usopp pushed into their hands right before they slammed the door in his face. Wind rustled leaves high up, moved some branches. Few birds were singing in the distance, but other than that the path they chose was as silent. Soon the crunch under their boots gradually disappeared, pace became slow and erratic and before they knew it they had to stop. Huge bush appeared right in front of them. They turned to look in the direction they came from. No road in sight. Not even littlest, skinniest path leading them wherever they stood now.
Goddammit. Why Usopp just had to be right?
They sighed, turned on their heel and started the journey back to the trail. It couldn’t be that far, especially if they stick to walking in completely straight line. And maybe if Usopp was right this time, if sticking to marked trails was such an issue for them, they should just go back home after all.
Small sticks cracked under their boots as they bent down yet again to go under branch. Weird, they didn’t remember having to do such things before. And they definitely would remember that, even if they didn’t realize when they left the trail altogether. With heart beating just a little too fast already, they stopped completely and tugged backpack off their back. It slipped right out their hands and landed on the ground with heavy thud. Ignoring completely that sound like this shouldn’t happen where sticks, leaves and moss would cushion the fall and muffle any sounds, they pulled compass out of their pants’ back pocket and faced the way they just came from. It should be more east than north, that’s for sure. Small wooden box was already cracked due to old age, but the rest worked perfectly fine. They laid it flat on their hand and waited patiently. Needle slowly but surely travelled towards the north, like it always did. And they knew they had to be going north-east. Their inner compass, sense of direction, was often described as unnaturally good, especially when it came to areas not touched by land development. Even on auto-pilot they would be going more towards north or towards east.
Alarming surprise, totally unwelcome, came as the tip of the needle pointing straight at them. Somehow, they were going more or less to the south. Complete opposite of where they should be.
This was less than ideal situation for sure.
No panicking took place, even though their first instinct was to bolt ahead in hopes that the trail was just few feet away. But they knew in this situation it would only make matters worse. Assessing the situation as calmly as it was possible, they took notice of sun hanging weirdly low. Sure, they expected to hike last hour or so in darkness before coming across the shelter. That was given since they started at about 1pm. Yet the time seemingly ran away, seeped through their fingers immediately after their foot touched unmarked territory of ancient forest. They pulled out their phone, expecting to see no signal, but to their surprise the device showed one, occasionally two bars. Good, at least if they didn’t get out on their own, they could always call for help. Deciding to give themselves one more chance before loosing all pride and asking for any kind of assistance, they pushed phone into pants’ pocket and picked up heavy backpack. Compass once again was raised to their eyes so they could see the needle even in unfavorable conditions. With one last deep breath, they turned to where small device pointed at north and began their journey back.
Light disappeared slowly but surely. They couldn’t even see compass soon, let alone branches they came across that struck them right on the nose few times. Blood dripped from rather nasty cut right under their right eye, feeding the ground beneath their feet.
I could’ve called for help when it was still light out. No one will come get me when it’s already night.
Weak stream of yellow light with flashlight as a source battled against dry, cold darkness, only dispersing it for mere second before being pointed in another direction. They tried their hardest not to cry, violently tugging on the rope, trying to put their tiny tent up in rather small clearing. Only after loosing all hope of finding their way back by themselves, they felt their stomach rumble as if tectonic plates rubbed each other, parting after millennia of sticking together to reveal bottomless pit. Somewhere down they felt a demon whisper to just sit down and feed it, but they knew better. If they sat down before putting tent up, they’d end up sleeping on the ground.
Finally the fabric, although pressed from two sides against two trees, resembled something tent-like, so they could sit down. Trying not to think about anything ominous like being completely alone in the middle of the woods older than civilization itself, they plopped heavy backpack in front of their legs. It landed with weird thud. Brows moved closer together in concern as one hand moved the pack out of the way while the other shone light in that place. Something, hidden beneath leaves and sticks, reflected the light back at them. Curiosity overcame them quickly. With one hand still holding the flashlight, they knelt down to get better access to the item. Quickly swiping the debris away and giving it one last huff to get rid of loose dirt, they looked at-
“Rock?” they mumbled out loud, turning their head slightly to the side. It was weird. This was just big, regular rock, although it had rather smooth and flat surface with one irregular dent in it. Disappointment quickly turned into positivity. Now they could assemble small fire to heat up the beans without huge risk of it turning into a disaster with mass causalities. Flashlight went up and in between their jaws to keep both hands empty. Quickly rather large rock was completely free of any debris with only small pile of leaves, pine needles and occasional pinecone remaining in small dent. They fished out pack of matches from their backpack, excited to eat something warm after such uneventful day. But the first match failed to catch any spark. Second match got its sulfur head broken off. Third started smoldering, but they sat there with almost whole hand stuck into dry pile of sticks, looking at the fire dancing in such a way to not lick any of the kindling. Eventually few more matches had to break for them to throw the box to the ground. Not wanting to attract any wildlife, they bit their tongue to not cry out in growing frustration.
Somewhere deep, in the back of their head or maybe at the bottom of their heart, they knew this feeling was just a panic wearing a mask of anger.
Ignoring all sounds, trying not to look around every five minutes, they swiped stone with their hand clearing their table for the night. Sharp pain, like lightning bolt shooting through their arm, made them pull whole arm away quickly with quiet yelp. Upon close inspection of outer edge of their palm they noticed small cut. Blood already dripped onto the rock.
Wide mouth full of sharp teeth stretched into a grimace, something that could resemble a smile of someone was desperate enough for this conclusion. It watched them rummage through their backpack, trying to find tissues. Bottomless pit of a stomach growled inhumanly loud. They twitched, looking up at the sky.
“Damn it, and on top of it storm is coming? Can this day be any more unlucky?” they mumbled, quickly gathering their things and putting everything into wonky tent.
Strength flew through it for the first time in decades. Slowly, the dirt parted with a crack, revealing spine, huge muscly back, then shoulders as it stretched with loud yawn. It could hear them perfectly fine even from this far. Listening intently as they opened can of cold beans, trying to tell themselves that they weren’t really scared, that panic wasn’t eating them alive, because they rarely heard of people being found after disappearing into Appalachian Forest, it took a deep breath. Musty, salty, sweaty stench of rotting fear filled its lungs, expanding its large, naked chest. It stared, listened and sniffed the air, feeding on underlying panic filling their body. Minutes and hours passed, they went to sleep, trying to calm their heart down. But it was impossible considering all the rumbling, sticks snapping and ground slowly shifting in the distance.
As it took first wobbly step towards tent sitting right on top of its summoning circle, vulnerable human twitched in their shelter. Their soul sensed incoming danger long before their brain could even comprehend why their rather peaceful dream took a sharp left turn into gory nightmare full of blood and stench of burned corpses.

let's go for a walk.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Inspired by an instagram edit i randomly found while scrolling and thought it was cute! It made me feel safe. It made me feel like i was home (mark) and it made me feel like i was him <3 #delusionalczennie haha
You've been reminding Mark to toss the piled rubbish out, but because he's a careless person, of course, he forgot until today. The front door made a beeping sound when he did so. His shadow suddenly appeared over you as you were preoccupied with the television. halting your performance to take notice of his shadow.
He asked you, "Babe, should we go for a walk?" with excitement. You only responded by humming. He repeated, "Do you want to go for a walk?" Knowing full well that you were preoccupied with who knows what.
It was a cold wintery day, so you knew you needed to put on those clunky boots and your long padded jacket; you're usually cold. Mark zips up your unzipped jacket, giving you the appearance of a penguin.
"You ready, babe?" he asks, taking your hand in his and making sure to turn off all lights except the fairy lights so it's not too dark when you guys get home. As soon as you entered the lobby, he informed you that it would be freezing outside.
You said, leaping up and down, squeezing his gloveless hand, "Dude, it's so cold!" You didn't realize how cold it would be outside because you worked from home today and drank hot chocolate with marshmallows by the fireplace you both finally put together (actually, none of us did, the fireplace people put it together, we don't have the skills, sorry).
"Oiiiiii, it's cold babeeeeeee!!!" and Mark's never-ending "it's cold" and yet you're both still cold, refusing to go back home and warm up with hot chocolate and a hot pack.
"Wowowow," the cheetah-like man said as you twirled about, attempting to raise your body temperature. As a result of the cold, he made some strange noises. I mean, he requested a walk. During the winter. That's exactly what you get.
When the wind blows, Mark immediately zips up his jacket and doesn't want the cold wind to penetrate under his light jacket. He props the camera on selfie mode, trying to take pictures of both of you when the wind ends up making an appearance aka your hair flying to places which wasn't the aesthetic you were going for but we get the gist. you've taken a mental note to print them and frame them as memoirs of the cold weather.
“It’s cold, it’s so cold~~~” he was vlogging and twirling around at the same time, it was your tradition vlogging these little moments then compiling them to be posted to your private youtube channel where your family members and friends could enjoy your chaotic yet calm daily lives. (the camera shaked more than your booty// bye im sorry)
After an hour in the cold, you decided it was time to go home because baby cheetah (mark) was tired and sleepy and hungry. You chuckled looking at his tired expression but you were glad he asked you out. No matter how cold it was, you’re always warm with him <3

“The more of a fool people take you for, the more you'll learn of their true nature.”
Tumblr media
Introduction
Seir or more commonly known as “Seizou Shinomiya” is an android created by CodeX’s 3rd Member Sumire Shinomiya and the latest creation in her line of inventions, designed to act as a mysterious fail safe. Despite being “related” to the infamous anarchist and mass criminal, no one is aware of his existence and he is kept mostly away from the public. Being recently made, he’s not at the level of experience as his older siblings but he’s curious about life and its wonders and to figure out his purpose with the life he’s been given.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Seizou is a very young preadolescent boy of average height for a child his age and a skinny, petite figure. He has medium length black hair that stops just below his neck with vibrant purple highlights and bangs framing his face. He has slanted, bright violet colored eyes that have a blank and empty look in them, often times making him look bored with the world around him. In rare situations however, should he enter his “defense mode”, they will turn a bright and intimidating red color.
Like his creator and siblings before him, Seizou also dresses up in the same gothic style as them but much like his older sister Aiko (and due to her being responsible for dressing him since “birth”), Seizou wears clothes more befitting the “ouji” or “boy lolita” subculture. He wears a white, frilly poet’s shirt with a dark purple sweater vest and a large black bow decorating his collar, black knee-length shorts with a few chains hanging, long black socks that end just below his knees with fasteners keeping them from falling and black boots with bows and frills. For accessories, he wears 4 white bobby pins with two of them making an ‘x’ symbol, and small black hoop earrings. Sometimes when he is outside, he can also been seen wearing a coffin shaped backpack.

Personality
Initially, Seizou…has no personality so to speak, being recently created and very new to the world, it’s not that far fetched to compare him to a newborn child aside from the vast amount of intelligence and knowledge he possesses which he always uses to his advantage whether to better himself or to assist his older siblings. He’s emotionless, almost scarily so, and can even come across as cold despite appearing as a child as well as having a clear detachment from humanity in the sense that he has yet to fully understand how and why humans are the way they are and how they work.
Despite this, Seizou has no qualms about improving himself and wanting to learn more about humanity and the world in which he is existing in. It’s not quite a desire but there have been times where Seizou seems to have a want for being on the same level of sentience as his older siblings to which they along with Sumire have dedicated themselves to teaching and nurturing Seizou in hopes that he might one day break the barrier of his coding and gain a sense of self, because of this, Seizou looks up to his family members immensely and strives to not let their hard work go to waste.
Being a ‘blank slate’ of the sort, Seizou has no sense of humor that most “children” his age would have, most of the time it would come off as flat at best and borderline unsettling at worst but for what he lacks in humor, he makes up for in wit and can be borderline mischievous on a blue moon, replying in a way that comes off as snarky and purposely doing things that he knows would receive a reaction from his siblings under the guise of “research” but you wouldn’t be wrong to say he doesn’t receive some sense of “amusement” from it.
Despite being so young compared to his siblings, Seizou is no different from Malphas and Aiko in which that he too also has a “Defense Mode” installed in him as well, whereas Aiko is more focused on defense and Malphas takes a more violent approach, Seizou is a mix of the two due to their teachings, utilizing offensive and defensive combat styles effectively to ensure the safety of both himself and his family. Being in such a state is a rarity for Seizou, however, as he is not permitted to leave the lab and house without supervision therefore there is little need for him to be in that mode unless the situation is very, very dire.
Trivia
Seizou has an odd fascination with collecting game cards such as Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, and Magic: The Gathering. His collection is so huge that there is an entire room in the lab solely for where Seizou keeps his collection.
His virtual A.I. form is the same as the symbol on his neck.
He has a scorpion-bot form which he uses to discreetly follow people around.
Due to his curiosity and fascination with the outside world, Seizou has taken to collecting anything and everything that captures his interests much to the dismay of his siblings.
Unlike Malphas and Aiko who like spicy and sweet foods respectively, Seizou shows a preference towards bitter and sour foods.
No one aside from Sumire, Malphas, and Aiko is aware of Seizou’s existence, not even Scorpion Den.
Seizou is not allowed outside without supervision from Sumire, Malphas, or Aiko and mainly kept to the confines of the lab and the Kobayashi mansion however he’s prone to sneaking outside to meet up with his best friend.
Unbeknownst to his creator, Seizou is best friends with Kaoru Shinozaki’s A.I., A.M.U./Amane Shinozaki. Due to the two of them being made almost around the same time and had been introduced to each other by their siblings, the pair immediately imprinted on one another and have begun to see each other and act as twin siblings.
Seizou is a skilled expert in multiple board games and video games.
Seizou has a built in scorpion tail that he uses to defend himself when he’s in “Defense Mode”, it’s usually out of sight and in a small compartment built inside of him.

Kabby + desperate hugs
Immediately post-s2-finale, PG-ish, also on ao3.
She clings, after.
She justifies it while the pain is overwhelming – to the extent that she’s conscious of anything, at that point – but… after, home, safe…
“You’re not leaving me, are you?”
Abby has gotten so, so good at not wanting things. She deserves a break from restraint, she decides. Just for now, just something so small, just-
It helps her case that Marcus looks… okay, she needs to do a total reassessment of what she finds physically attractive there because the fact that he looks like hell right now makes her want him to pin her to a wall or something and at least that’s a normal daydream but the aesthetic component is different and he’s prettier like this and-
He also visibly hasn’t slept in multiple days, she reminds herself. So it falls to her to make good choices here. She hates being the responsible one in their dynamic.
“I thought… you should rest, and-“
There was a point – fine, let’s just call it most of her thirties because it was – when trying to make him speechless was a fun game that she rarely won. Apparently all she needed to do was get drastically hurt. Who knew?
“So should you,” she murmurs. “But you… won’t.”
There are self-sacrificing idiots, Abby thinks, and then there’s this one, and the number of times he’s tried to die in the past couple weeks is just a little concerning, and she knows with her sidelined – and she will take every personal day she never bothered with up in the sky for this, thank you – he’ll be in panic mode, and she’s always thought that him with absolute power would be a disaster but it’s looking like it’ll be a totally different flavor of disaster than she once had the occasional nightmare about, and-
“Can’t, more like.”
“Won’t. I know you, remember. Stay. Please. For me.”
The past few hours gave her time to reflect on the current state of her life, time she hasn’t had in a while, and how tangled up she is in that particular midlife crisis is something to deal with later but it’s become very hard to ignore and-
“Someone has to be out there and-“
“So I’m the only person who’s noticed you’re trying to hide that limp? It’s going to get worse if you don’t-“
“Someone needs to-“
“Someone doesn’t always have to be you.”
With that, from her perch on her bed, Abby reaches out and pulls him in with as much strength and energy as she has right now. She’s able to get a hand on his waist, and they’ve never been tactile and this is fun, and-
“Fine. If it means you’ll stop looking at me like that.”
“Could be worse. I’m not asking you to strip yet.”
Which, when it happens, will be for the most innocent possible reason aka the fact that she highly doubts that bandage has been changed since the whole collapsed building issue and oh they have had a long couple of days and-
“That a threat?”
“Do you want it to be?”
He makes a hand gesture she interprets as “make space” and sits down on the edge of the bed, and this will barely accommodate both of them but she’s small and-
“Just a few hours. I can’t-“
“Someone needs to keep an eye on me, and I’m not above taking advantage of your guilt complex to-“
“You don’t need me.”
“I shouldn’t put weight on my leg for a week. I need someone who can handle how bitchy I get when I’m bored. My options are… minimal, and you can do paperwork on a tablet from here, and-“
“Sounds like you’ve planned this.”
“Watching you try to pretend you’re fine isn’t-“
“It’s that bad?”
“I’m not sure anyone else can see through it, but I-“
“It’s that bad.” Marcus pauses, finishes undoing his boots, and he’s so tense from her current perspective and-
“Yeah. And I wouldn’t say anything if I wasn’t worried and-“
“This is no time for you to pretend to be a better person than you are.”
“Even I can’t take advantage of a physical injury on that scale,” she laughs. “I do have standards.”
“That I’m not sure I’ve ever seen…”
“We need each other. Codependent nightmares who barely tolerate each other but still-“
It’s strange how easily they fall together. She’s figured out that their bodies fit well, but… it’s different, on a mattress, trying to make sure their position involves as little pain as possible, trying to be decent and even that time in the tent wasn’t this complicated and how was that so recent and-
“This alright?” he asks, slipping an arm under her waist.
“Yeah. More than alright, if you’re-“
“You have more to lose if-“
“I wouldn’t be asking you to sleep with me if I thought you’d intentionally hurt me,” she murmurs, and she means that phrase innocently for now but she suspects someday soon she won’t and that’s another crisis for later and-
“Haven’t done this in a while. People don’t stay.”
“Well, I’m stuck here for a week if not longer, so… change your record.”
He doesn’t respond, and she’s thankful for that, and-
It’s going to be a long week, Abby thinks as she closes her eyes. And a long few weeks after that as her recovery completes. And that’s just her, and what happened to her wasn’t permanent, and what happened to him might be given the absolute stubbornness mixed with life circumstances, and-
She’ll worry in the morning. She’s exhausted now. Everything else can wait.

Cam invited Piper, Tess, and Megan inside, and she and Piper headed up to her room (Megan embarrassed Piper by telling her to be safe if they were going to woohoo), while Tess and Megan headed to the living room. Their friend/Cam's auntie Iseul was sitting on the couch, looking bleary, but her eyes widened as she looked at them. "What the fuck? I mean you look great but what?" She asked, grinning. "Tess and I took Cam and Pipes to a costume party." Megan said, plonking down on the couch next to Iseul, who tried not to blush or look too much at Megan. Megan nudged Iseul playfully with her elbow and Iseul laughed before nudging her back.
"Move over, Meggs." Tess groaned playfully, and Megan scooted to her left, slightly closer to Iseul. "I can see what Tess's costume is, but what are you dressed as, Megs?" Iseul asked, checking out Megan's outfit and taking in the bows, corset style top, skirt, and fishnet tights and boots. "I'm not sure Is, just cute and spooky in general? I saw a cute Spooky Day type set in Simsa, grabbed a pair of matching boots, a belt, necklace, and fishnets, and put it together." Megan said, smiling. "Well, you look good and so do you, Tess." She added. "Thank you." Tess grinned.
"What about your costume, Is?" Tess joked. "Tired sleepy adult whose back hurts for no reason." Iseul deadpanned, and Megan nodded. "That'll be me and Tess when we head back because our daughter had half a bag of candy and she's awake and in a sugar rush and told us she wants to watch spooky movies with us until 1 am." Iseul nodded. "I accidentally gave Cammy too much candy when she was 10 and I was babysitting while Min Jun and Paenji were at a party, and she was so hyper and energetic and running around. I had to calm her down with spooky stories before her parents got home and got mad at me for leaving them with a very rambunctious at 11 pm kid." Tess laughed. "Oof, no I get that." She said. "Emily got into the candy on her own, but I feel bad for my cousin Luna who has to calm her down and look after her til we get home. She's a good kid, but you don't want to be around her when she's in a sugar rush." Iseul laughed too. "Then she’s just like Megs when she had five cupcakes for breakfast before our final and was in a sugar rush mode, and wouldn't let me study because she thought we should put on an energetic songs mix cd and dance together t." Megan laughed. "Hey, I thought it'd give me energy, and I wanted you to take a break too." She said.
Tess smiled faintly as Iseul and Megan bickered playfully and Megan brought up something goofy Iseul did in college. She knew when she started dating Megan in her twenties that they had a 10 year age difference and Megan already experienced stuff she hadn't at the time, like marriage and kids and real love, and they talked about that once they started dating seriously. Megan lived her life and Tess didn't fault her for that, plus she liked Iseul, but it felt weird that Iseul knew Megan way before then and they had in-jokes and memories from having dated in college. Tess knew Iseul was Megan’s first real love and Megan was probably Iseul’s first real love too, and a dumb-jealous part of her sometimes worried she couldn’t compete with that but she reminded herself that that was just her feelings and not true, and Megan loved her. "That sounds like Meggs.” Tess agreed now grinning at her wife. “Shut up.” Megan said, but she smiled at Tess, before nudging Tess gently with her shoulder and taking her hand. "Everything okay, Tessie?" She asked. "Yeah, I'm just tired." Tess said, resolving to talk with Megan about how she was feeling later that night.

Apple Technicians Specializing in Drive Recovery
If your Mac suddenly stops booting, files go missing, or your drive becomes unreadable, you're likely facing a hard drive issue. In today’s digital world, that can feel like a disaster. But don’t worry Apple technicians specializing in drive recovery are here to help. With the right tools, training, and experience, they can restore your lost data and get your Mac back up and running.
Why Drive Recovery Requires Expertise
Drive recovery isn’t just about plugging in software and hoping for the best. It requires a deep understanding of:
Apple’s hardware architecture
File systems like APFS and HFS+
Encryption and security measures (like FileVault)
Mac-specific backup and recovery tools (Time Machine, iCloud, etc.)
This is why trusting your Mac with just any technician is a risk. Apple-certified professionals bring precision and care to the table, ensuring your valuable files are handled safely and effectively.
What Sets Apple Technicians Apart?
Apple technicians go through specialized training to achieve certifications such as Apple Certified Mac Technician (ACMT) or Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP). These certifications mean:
They know how to diagnose and repair both hardware and software issues.
They understand how to handle sensitive components like SSDs and logic boards.
They use Apple-approved tools and follow official repair guidelines.
More importantly, these experts know how to safely recover data from failing or corrupted drives without causing further damage.
Common Drive Issues They Handle
Apple technicians who specialize in drive recovery are well-equipped to handle a variety of problems, including:
Corrupted or unmounted drives
macOS that won’t boot
Files that won’t open or are missing
Drives with physical damage or failure
Encryption-related access issues
Accidentally formatted drives
Failed updates or system crashes
Whether you’re working with an older iMac with a traditional hard drive or a MacBook with an internal SSD, these pros can assess and recover your data safely.
The Professional Recovery Process
Here’s a breakdown of how Apple technicians approach drive recovery:
1. Diagnostic Evaluation
The technician uses tools like Apple Diagnostics, Disk Utility, and command-line checks to assess the condition of the drive and determine if the problem is physical or logical.
2. Data Preservation (Cloning)
If the drive is still somewhat functional, they often create a bit-level clone to preserve the existing data. This prevents further wear and tear on the original drive during the recovery process.
3. Recovery from Clone or Original Drive
Advanced recovery software (sometimes proprietary tools available only to Apple-certified professionals) is used to extract files. Apple techs know how to handle files from encrypted partitions or Time Machine backups as well.
4. Verification of Recovered Data
Once files are retrieved, they’re reviewed for integrity and usability. You’ll often receive a list of what was recovered before transfer.
5. Delivery and Post-Recovery Setup
Files are transferred to a new drive or a freshly repaired Mac. Apple technicians can also help set up Time Machine, restore macOS, and install updates to avoid future issues.
Why You Should Act Quickly
If you suspect your drive is failing, don’t delay. Here are some signs that should prompt immediate attention:
Your Mac is unusually slow or freezes often.
You hear clicking or grinding sounds (HDDs).
Disk Utility reports errors or can’t mount the drive.
The system boots into Recovery Mode or won’t start.
Apps or files won’t open properly.
macOS installs or updates are failing repeatedly.
Continuing to use a failing drive increases the risk of permanent data loss. The sooner a professional looks at it, the better your chances of full recovery.
The Security and Privacy Factor
Apple technicians understand that data privacy is non-negotiable. Whether you're recovering personal photos, financial records, or business files, they follow strict confidentiality protocols. Certified Apple repair centers typically operate under data privacy guidelines laid out by Apple itself, which means:
Your data is not accessed unless necessary for recovery.
Recovered files are handled securely.
Drives are returned or disposed of properly after service.
This peace of mind is something you won’t always get with a general tech shop or DIY attempt.
Prevention Tips from the Experts
Apple technicians don’t just fix problems—they help prevent them too. Here are a few best practices they often recommend:
Back up regularly with Time Machine and iCloud.
Avoid physical shock or heat exposure to your Mac.
Monitor disk health using Disk Utility.
Keep macOS updated to prevent system-level issues.
Shut down properly to avoid file system corruption.
They can also advise you on upgrading from older spinning HDDs to more reliable SSDs, or setting up redundant backup solutions for business-critical data.
Data loss is stressful, but you’re not alone. Apple technicians specializing in drive recovery offer the skills, tools, and professionalism needed to bring your Mac and your files back to life. From diagnosing mysterious errors to rescuing files from the brink, they’re your best bet when every byte counts.
If your Mac’s hard drive is showing signs of trouble, don’t risk it. Reach out to a certified Apple technician and give your data the expert attention it deserves.

Fixing Windows Boot Issues: A Comprehensive Guide
When your Windows PC refuses to boot, it can be a frustrating experience. Whether you're dealing with a black screen, an endless reboot loop, or an error message, these boot issues can stem from a variety of causes. This guide will explore the most common Windows boot problems and how to fix them effectively. We'll also introduce a reliable solution, Best Windows Repair, to help you resolve these problems quickly and efficiently.
Common Causes of Windows Boot Issues
Understanding the root cause of boot problems is crucial for finding the right solution. Some of the most common reasons include:
Corrupted System Files – Missing or damaged system files can prevent Windows from loading properly. Learn more about Windows system files.
Malware Infections – Viruses and malware can corrupt essential boot files. Using a reputable antivirus tool like Windows Defender or Malwarebytes can help prevent this.
Hardware Failures – Issues with your hard drive, RAM, or motherboard can cause boot failures. Diagnostic tools like Windows Memory Diagnostic can help identify these issues.
Faulty Updates – Windows updates sometimes introduce compatibility issues or bugs that disrupt startup. Microsoft’s Update Catalog provides details on the latest patches.
Incorrect BIOS/UEFI Settings – Misconfigured boot settings in BIOS/UEFI can prevent Windows from loading. Ensure that your boot mode (UEFI/Legacy) matches your system configuration.
Bad Sectors on the Hard Drive – A failing hard drive may not be able to load Windows correctly. Tools like CrystalDiskInfo can monitor hard drive health and help prevent boot issues.
How to Fix Windows Boot Problems
1. Check for External Devices
External devices, such as USB drives and external hard drives, may interfere with the boot process. Disconnect all USB devices and peripherals and restart your PC to see if it resolves the issue.
2. Enter Safe Mode
If Windows fails to boot normally, try entering Safe Mode to diagnose and fix the issue:
Restart your PC and press F8 (for older systems) or Shift + F8 during startup.
Select Safe Mode with Networking from the Advanced Boot Options menu.

i have a hypothetical question, so if you were accidentally downloading stuff from a sketchy website and you really just downloaded a virus on your computer and you keep getting random pop ups in russian what would you do? all hypothetical of course
probably learn russian so i could read the pop ups...
but in all seriousness? there's a free anti-virus program called malwarebytes that is used a lot when dealing with computer viruses. i'd also recommend their ADW cleaner because it cleans up your systems and gets rid of malware as well.
if you can, you should also try to restart your computer in safe mode. it should help you repair your systems.
there are two ways to do this:
Hold the Shift key while clicking Restart from the Shut down or sign out menu.
Select Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings > Restart.
After the PC restarts, there is a list of options. Select 4 or F4 or Fn+F4 (following the on-screen instructions) to start the PC in Safe Mode.
or
Press F8 repeatedly while the computer starts up.
See if the Windows Boot Options menu appears.
If it does, go to Troubleshoot -> Advanced Options -> Startup Settings.
Follow the on-screen instructions to enable Safe Mode.
