Me, for the first chunk of today's @re-dracula entry: :)
Me, when This Shit Happens:
Mina, in hypno-mode, Dracula's consciousness and voice overlapping hers: "This is the way."
Van Helsing: "How know you it?" I ask.
Mina-Dracula, smug as hell: "Of course I know it," she answer, and with a pause, add: "Have not my Jonathan travelled it and wrote of his travel?"
:)
In all ways but physical, I am ripping Dracula out of his dirt box and washing his mouth out with a loaf of garlic bread
Whose? Fucking whose Jonathan??

"She'd do just as well without you, better I'd wager. Since she wouldn't have to go about saving your hides all the time."

just thinking about how despite AtS trying to portray it as comedic bickering amongst bros, Spike actually has decades worth of reasons to hate Angel, while Angel has remarkably few reasons to hate Spike. And it should maybe be concerning that from School Hard on, Angel adopts an absolute "don't see what this has to do with me" reaction to him?

The appeal of Spike/Buffy to me vs all the other Spike and Buffy ships is that they got to have ANTICS, even amidst all the darker themes
one of their first scenes as mortal enemies kinda getting along, they pretend to be in a band together
they get the will-it-so spell episode where they're FAKE ENGAGED, helloooooo (with handholding! and lap sitting! and smooches! while they're still ankle deep in nemesis territory!!!)
Spike's around to play kitten poker and help Buffy out and make cute lil faces at her in the time loop episode
there's ✨thee musical episode✨ with the closing curtain big finale kiss
they get shippy moments as Joan and Randy in the amnesia episode
they're bonin' in the "Buffy's invisible" episode
there's the magical letterman jacket episode where Buffy and Spike get to do some silent background comedy, with a bazooka
when Andrew introduces them in his season 7 POV ep they get the romance novel cover scene, with windswept hair and slow-mo
even in the buffybot episode there's an undercurrent of ~comedy mixed with the depravity
