LN4 | Kiss and Make Up
Summary: You used to get along with your brother’s best friend, but at some point, it all changed. Lando’s rude comments frustrate you to no end, and your brother is fed up with your complaints. Max only sees one solution: you need to make up.

You heard the keys jiggle in the door, followed by the creaking sound of it opening, and your brother stomping through the hallway of your parental home. You finally have some time off from school after the insane amount of deadlines and exams that filled your last couple of weeks and decided to visit your family. You like studying and university, but it’s nice to come home and be taken care of instead of doing everything on your own. However, you’re still in charge of dinner tonight. You can never make it back home without being forced to make your famous lasagne at least once and tonight’s the night your family will be blessed with your famed, home-made dish.
Max smiled when he saw you standing in the kitchen, chopping up the veggies for tonight. Although he’d never tell you directly, he had missed you. Max still lived close to your parents whereas you had moved further away for school. It made it difficult to see each other regularly, especially since Max had started Quadrant with Lando and didn’t make the effort to visit you anymore. Seeing you in person had become a rare occurrence, something that would only happen in his parents’ house.
Max put his hands on your shoulders as he leaned forward to watch what you were doing. “Hey sis, are you making lasagne?” He said with a smile.
“Hello Y/N, I’ve missed you. How are you doing? – I’m doing well, Max. Thank you for asking.” You mumbled as you continued to cut vegetables for dinner.
You couldn’t see it with your back towards your brother, but he smiled at your antics. “Hello my dear sister, I haven’t seen you in such a long time. I do wonder how you’re doing.”
You turned around and smiled when he pulled you into a hug. “It’s your own fault. You never come to visit me, but I’m doing well now that the exams are over,” you tell him with a chuckle.
Max decided to ignore your complaint, instead redirecting the conversation to what you were busying yourself with. “So, lasagne?”
You rolled your eyes. “Yes, Max. I’m making lasagne for dinner.”
He silently cheered at your response. A cheeky smile made its way onto his face when he asked, “Is there enough for one more?”
“Depends… Who’s it for? P?” You said, looking back over your shoulder to meet his eyes as you cut up more veggies.
“Does it matter who I invited? You won’t let anyone else eat your lasagne?” He said with a laugh, but you knew the question was serious. He knew you didn’t particularly get along with some of his friends – actually, one of his friends, Lando. To say your relationship with Lando isn’t great would be an understatement. Max didn’t know why exactly you didn’t get along, you’ve never indulged him, but the dislike is clearly noticeable and has been going on for ages. Max had tried to improve the relationship in the past, but nothing had worked, only making it worse. He doesn’t understand why Lando, specifically; you don’t seem to have any issues with his other friends.
You looked at Max pointedly; he was asking for something he already knew. Of course, you’d let people other than P eat your lasagne. There’s only one person that you wouldn’t allow.
Max sighed at your seriousness, “Yes, I’ve invited P,” he told you.
You smiled triumphantly, “Good! I’ve missed her; more than you, actually,” you said with a snort.
Max rolled his eyes at your comment. “I should never have introduced you two. You’re suspiciously close,” he mumbled as he shook his head, leaving the kitchen.
You grinned at his comment and continued to prepare dinner. You carefully cut the veggies, made the sauce and built the lasagne before you covered it with cheese. After you finally put it in the oven, you went to your room to freshen up. Of course, you cannot cut tomatoes without getting juice on your shirt, so clean clothes are a necessity. You quickly changed your shirt, reapplied your deodorant, and fixed up your hair before you heard the door opening, footsteps and voices following soon after. You smiled as you walked down the stairs, excited to see Pietra after months. You walked into the room, ready to hug your brother’s girlfriend, only to see his boyfriend making himself comfortable on the couch.
Your smile dropped from your face in an instant, and you narrowed your eyes at him. “Lando,” you said in a low voice. What on earth was he doing here? Your brother told you he’d invited his girlfriend, your friend; was she not here yet? Lando must’ve come to pick something up, right? He wouldn’t visit around this time unless he came to pick something up… Or come for dinner… Judging by how comfortable he had made himself on the couch, you doubt it’s the former.
“Y/N! How are you?” Lando said, getting up from the couch to properly greet you. You scoffed and folded your arms as he moved closer.
“What are you doing here?”
“Nice to see you too,” Lando said with a smirk.
“I hope you’re not here for dinner,” you continue.
“I am here for dinner, actually. Max invited me.”
You shifted your eyes over to Max in anger. He’d told you P would be coming over, not Lando. The little bitch.
“I take it P’s not coming, then?” It was evident in your voice that you were upset.
Max looked at you with apologetic eyes, like a child being scolded, as he avoided your gaze. At the lack of response, you turned your attention back to Lando.
“There isn’t enough food for all of us, and even if there was, it probably wouldn’t match your fancy diet anyway. Go buy a salad or something,” you told him, rolling your eyes.
Lando couldn’t help but smile at your response. “Such hostility,” he said, his hand resting on his chest in fake hurt, and a teasing grin on his face that made you want to slap it off.
You gritted your teeth at the teasing – God, this man frustrated you to no end, and he was enjoying it, too.
“Fuck off, Lando. You’re not welcome here,” you said before walking away.
Lando was about to follow you into the dining room, unable to resist teasing you further, but Max stopped him. “Come on, man. Don’t provoke her. She’s already annoyed, especially because I lied to her.”
You paced the dining room in an attempt to calm yourself down while the lasagne cooked in the oven. You grabbed the plates from the cabinet and started setting the table. You'd cooled off until you realised you’d have to set a place for Lando. You frowned as you stared at the last plate. Why couldn’t Lando just leave you alone? He should know not to bother you, you’d shown him before how petty you could be when he frustrated you, so why did he have to try again and again? Should you act like the bigger person, get over yourself and set the table for Lando, or should you 'forget' about Lando and set only four places? Your parents would be upset for sure, but the urge to retaliate is so strong. You stood still for at least a minute as you weighed your options.
A smile crept its way on your face when you spotted the kids’ table in the corner of the dining room. Usually, it’s only used for big family events, when your much younger cousins would come to visit. They don’t properly fit at the adult table and have their own tiny table in the corner of the room. A normal-sized human wouldn’t properly fit on one of the seats, but then again, Lando’s short, right? Besides, if he acts like a child, then he can sit at the children’s table. You grab the children’s cutlery and plate from the cabinet and set a special place for Lando. You can barely keep your laughter back at the thought of Lando sitting at the small table in a chair that’s way too tiny for him.
When you heard the timer beep, you tried to neutralise your expression. You placed the lasagne on the kitchen table before calling your family (and Lando) for dinner. Your parents were, unsurprisingly, the first to join you at the table. The boys, naturally, were still finishing up the game they started before dinner was finished. Your parents were already seated and provided with drinks before the boys came walking in. Although your parents hadn’t noticed the table in the corner or the missing chair, your brother noticed straight away.
He looked at you disappointedly as he said, “Y/N, did you seriously not set a place for Lando?”
“No, I did. It’s right over there,” you said, pointing to the kids’ table.
The boys looked in the direction you were pointing, and Max started laughing immediately. Meanwhile, Lando was shocked at how blunt you were being. So far, every retaliation you’d ever taken wasn’t that obvious. His eyebrows were furrowed in confusion and disappointment as he stared at the table – did you really dislike him that much?
“Where’s the other chair?” Max asked, still chuckling as he stood at the empty spot by the table.
You didn’t look up when you responded, “I don’t know,” shrugging your shoulders as you casually continued to divide the lasagne.
Lando sighed as he tried the chair, his knees pointing out above the table. Max only laughed louder at the image, and your dad couldn’t resist chuckling either while Lando pouted.
“I can’t eat like this.”
“Then don’t. I told you you’re not welcome.”
“Y/N!” Your mum scolded you before turning to Lando. “You’re always welcome here, darling. Ignore her,” she said, smiling sweetly at him.
You rolled your eyes.
“Where did you put the chair?” She questioned you.
You sighed, “They’re just in the pantry,” you admitted.
Your mum stood up and grabbed the chair for Lando who was still sitting in the tiny seat, while Max took pictures to post on his story, laughing. Lando smiled thankfully when she came back with the chair and grabbed a normal plate to serve him a generous portion of your homemade lasagne.
You couldn’t help but glare at Lando when he took his first bite. He was undeserving of the food which you had put so much effort and love into. You couldn’t even enjoy your own portion with the boy sitting across from you, although it tasted great. But Lando couldn't enjoy it either with the glares you kept sending him. Your resentment made him uncomfortable, and if he didn’t know any better, he’d be afraid that you’d poisoned his dinner. That was not your style though; he knew exactly how you liked to take your revenge. After all, he had experienced your wrath many times, and he had to admit you were very creative in creating your retaliations. He could never be entirely sure, or prove that you were the cause, but everything about the weird situations he’d been in the past years screamed your name.
There was one time that he’d gotten tens of phone calls every day for a week about a missing key. Even now, he occasionally gets calls about a key that was found. It seems quite innocent, but Lando’s phone was blowing up the entire week at the most inconvenient times: while he was in important meetings, when he was spending time with friends, even when he was streaming. Another time, Lando’s Netflix was completely messed up. All the recommendations on his home screen were for kids’ TV and romcoms. This, too, seems innocent enough, but after he had watched Netflix together with Daniel Ricciardo, and his homepage was filled with Cocomelon, The Kissing Booth, Riverdale and other films and series of the same genre, he had to hear about it for years to come. Some other time, Lando’s clothes mysteriously fell apart after only a few hours of wearing them after he’d stayed the night at Max's place at the same time as you. He didn't know how, but he was sure you had something to do with that too.
Although your reactions were very petty and often childish, Lando did admire your perseverance, resourcefulness and creativity. If he wasn’t always the victim of your crimes, he would have loved them, and perhaps even encouraged them, because, let’s be honest, it’s impressive if you can make someone’s clothes fall apart when you’re not even near them.
Lando didn’t really understand why he was always your victim, though. When you were younger, you’d gotten along fine, but as you’d gotten older you’d become meaner to him. He didn't know where things went wrong, and whether it was his fault or you just decided you were done with him. You used to tease each other, yes, but that was always mutual and lighthearted. Neither of you minded the comments that were made because you both knew it was all in good fun. At some point, you just started doing things like these, and Lando still doesn't know what initiated it.
You know exactly when it started, though. Everything was fine until Max and Lando hit puberty. Suddenly, they were ‘too cool’ to hang out with you, and you were excluded from all of their activities. The teasing didn’t really feel like teasing anymore, but rather mean comments that hurt you. Lando never caught onto your change in perception; he thought you still saw it as teasing. But the comments became more rude over time, and it felt like the boys who were your friends once, were now making fun of you.
Like when you were invited to apply for Honours College at your university. You were extremely proud that your grades in your regular courses were good enough to be admitted, and that you’d been invited to apply. But Lando just called you a nerd and laughed before continuing to talk about his own achievements, as if what you’d done was nothing important or impressive.
It wouldn’t have mattered much if it were any other friend of your brother, but Lando was important. You’d known him for about ten years, and he was basically a part of your family. What didn’t help either was that you had developed a small crush on him over the years. By the time he turned twenty, he’d gone through a glow-up. He finally learned how to deal with his curly hair and his face had matured to that of a handsome man. You were attracted to him, but his ugly personality distracted from his looks – most of the time.
Nevertheless, you wanted to impress Lando; to make him like you so he would stop with the off-handed comments. Though you weren’t necessarily good at sports or karting like he was, you excelled academically. You thought by showing your intelligence, you could gain his respect. Unknowingly, it made Lando feel dumb. He’d never even finished secondary school, and you were taking on extra classes in university without any troubles. He reacted differently than he would have liked to, but he thought you’d understand it was a joke.
Another time, you organised a last-minute surprise party for your brother. You had made sure there were decorations, music, food, and most importantly, drinks. You were happy with what you had managed to do in the time available, but your mood significantly worsened when Lando jokingly said you could have put in a little more effort. He was smiling when he said it, but it felt like he was making fun of you; of the amount of effort you had put in to make sure everything was organised as perfectly as possible. Despite his intention to tease, it didn't feel that way to you.
The comment that you believe triggered your best revenge was on Pietra’s birthday. She celebrated her birthday at Max’s apartment, and of course, you’d come to visit and celebrate with her. A few months before her birthday she’d shown you a top she really liked when she was online shopping, but the colour wasn’t right. So, for her birthday, you decided to crochet the top in her favourite colour. It was a bold choice because you didn’t have much experience crocheting, nevertheless, you tried. If she didn’t like it, you would just buy it from the store after all, or get her something else. You thought it looked pretty good, especially for your first try. Regardless, there were some mistakes and uneven shapes.
Pietra was completely surprised and elated with the present, especially when you told her you made it yourself. She knew how much time and effort it probably cost you to make it, but Lando didn't consider that when he commented on the piece.
“You made it yourself? Maybe you should practice a little more, huh?” He said, laughing, before handing it back to P.
You felt the smile drop from your face at the hurtful remark, but Lando was oblivious to the fact he hurt your feelings. Max turned to Lando in shock, while Pietra assured you that she loved the top, and couldn’t wait to wear it. You plastered a smile on your face, but it was obvious (to anyone but Lando) that it was fake. That night, after drinking your feelings away, you tore the seams in Lando’s clothes. Not every single one, but enough so it would fall apart after too much exertion; the punishment should fit the crime.
The anticipatory pleasure at the thought of Lando’s clothes tearing at an inconvenient moment was enough to satisfy you. When you heard about what happened a few days later from Max, you could barely keep your laugh back.
More recently, you had gone clubbing with your brother and his friends. It was an unusual event because your brother didn’t want to see you flirting or dancing with random boys in the club, but this time it was different. He knew you’d been stressed from school, and he’d rather you let loose when he’s there than when he’s not there to keep an eye on you.
You were dancing with your brother and his friends when a cute boy came up to you, asking if he could buy you a drink. You said yes, of course. You would never refuse a free drink, especially in good, handsome, company, and you wanted to get over your small crush on Lando. You don’t know why or how, but he always seemed ten times hotter in a club, and you needed to get away from him. The longer you stayed near him, the more his pretty face and well-dressed body seemed to distract you from his unattractive personality, and that couldn’t happen.
You followed the man to the bar and ordered a drink as he flirted with you. His attention was completely focused on you, but you kept getting distracted by the feeling of eyes on your back. It wasn’t until you were dancing in the middle of the large crowd that the feeling faded. You felt free without the supervision of your brother, and without Lando to distract you.
The man pulled your back closer to him, and you let him. You swayed from side to side with your arms in the air while he kissed his way down your neck. It didn’t feel right, but that didn’t matter; it was good enough. You liked the feeling of his lips on your neck and felt yourself get lost in the moment until suddenly there was a tug on your arm.
Your eyes opened in shock as you felt yourself get pulled away. The man you were dancing with didn’t seem to mind much and moved on with another girl standing nearby as you stared at Lando confused and disoriented.
“What do you think you’re doing?” You asked him as you struggled to pull your arm from his firm grip.
“I’m taking you back to the group, you need to be more careful,” he explained.
You scoffed, “What? I was perfectly safe! Let me go!”
“Were you? He seemed untrustworthy,” Lando continued as he pulled you through the club.
“I was just having fun! God, you’re so annoying!” You say with a huff before walking back to your brother.
Lando watched you as you walked away. He didn't want you to dance with that man, or any man for that matter, even though he would never admit it. However, you had misunderstood his intentions. To you it seemed like he was interrupting your fun, cockblocking if you will, and it frustrated you to no end.
For days to come, you complained to your brother about what happened, insisting that it was none of Lando’s business and he should’ve left you alone. However, your brother grew tired of your complaints really quickly and couldn’t deal with your issues anymore. Your ongoing dispute with Lando had dragged on for too long and it needed to be resolved, soon, before he went insane. During your next fight, Max would force the two of you to repair your relationship, whether you wanted to or not, because he simply couldn’t take it any longer.
It didn’t take long until your next fight. You were looking at pictures of Lando and Max on Instagram from when they went golfing a few days back when you spotted something. In one of the pictures, Lando was taking a photo with a camera, a camera which he had seemingly ‘borrowed’ from you without your knowledge.
The second you saw him enter your parents’ house, you targeted him.
“You stole my camera?”
“Hello to you, too, Y/N,” he responded with a grin.
You rolled your eyes.
“Where is it, Lando,” you continued, stepping closer to him.
“I gave it to Max. He was supposed to give it back. He hasn’t yet?”
“No, he hasn’t. And you shouldn’t have taken it in the first place.”
Your gaze shifted to Max, who walked in behind Lando.
“Where is it, Max?”
“In my room somewhere, I think.”
“Can you go grab it? Please?”
The words you said were much kinder than the way you said them. Max sighed before walking up the stairs to his room, you and Lando in tow. He looked around the room, getting on his knees to look under the bed.
“You put my camera under your bed?” You asked angrily.
“I’m not sure if I did, that’s why I’m looking, Y/N.”
Max thought this was the absolute worst. He had gotten himself pulled into one of your arguments again, and now he was being yelled at by you when it wasn’t his fault to begin with. He sighed before getting up.
“I’ll just go grab my phone for the flashlight,” he said before leaving the room.
You merely nodded in response as you continued to look around the room in search of your camera when you heard the door close, the lock falling in place.
“Max? Did you just lock the door?”
Lando lifted his head from his place on the floor, where he was looking under the dresser, at your insinuation. He quickly changed his position to sit up, staring at the door with you.
“Yes, I did. The two of you need to make up. I won’t let you out until you get along. I can’t handle the two of you fighting anymore. It’s really fucking annoying,” he said through the door.
You looked at Lando in shock, to find him already staring back at you.
“Max, you can’t do this! What the fuck is wrong with you! Let us out!” You yelled as you knocked on the door.
When he didn’t react, you hit the door again, “Max!”
You looked at Lando at the lack of response, “Do something!” You said, but he merely looked at you.
“What am I supposed to do? Knocking the door won’t help. I actually think it might be a good idea for us to talk everything out.”
You looked at Lando in shock. “Are you serious?”
He shrugged while he stared at you, and you shook your head in response.
“I’m not doing this,” you said, pacing around the room while Lando followed you with his eyes as he sat on your brother’s bed, an amused smile on his face.
“I’m leaving,” you said, opening the window.
“What are you doing?” Lando asks, quickly getting up from the bed.
“I’m leaving,” you repeated, sitting on the window sill, throwing one leg outside.
“What have I done to you to make you this angry? I can’t believe you’d rather fall out of a window than talk to me,” Lando frowned.
You let out a choked laugh, mouth open in shock. “Are you serious? You don’t know what you’ve done?” You said as you sat on the window sill, one leg outside the window, the other still on the floor.
“Yes. Please tell me, because I’ve obviously missed a lot if you’re willing to climb out of a window. By the way, stop climbing out of the window!” Lando said, all but running to prevent you from dangling your other leg out of the window too. It was already halfway there, leaving you in a very uncomfortable position when Lando grabbed your leg.
“You’re going to hurt yourself, Y/N!”
“No, I’m not,” you grunted out as you tried to kick him away. You leaned away from him, losing your grip on the windowsill at the exertion. Lando could barely catch you before you fell out of the window.
“Fuck, Y/N! I told you to get away from the window!” He yelled as he pulled you away from it and back into the room before quickly closing the window. He stood in front of it as if he was trying to block your way from the window, trying to block your escape.
You rolled your eyes at him, “Don’t be such a baby, I’m fine.”
“Only because I was holding your leg.”
“If you weren’t holding my leg I wouldn’t have fallen in the first place.” You stepped closer to him, huffing in defiance.
Lando sighed, but he didn’t respond. He kept silent while he stared at you, challenging you as you crept closer without breaking eye contact. The tension in the room was palpable, and it only increased the longer you stared at each other. Your breath was shallow from the adrenaline of your near-fall, and your glare was met with a look of annoyance. Lando’s hands hung limply by his sides, the complete opposite of a mere moment ago when he grabbed you with such urgency.
"Why do you always have to make things so difficult?" Lando's voice was low, strained with frustration.
"Me?" you shot back, your voice rising. "You're the one who's always so demeaning, so... so infuriating!"
"Infuriating?" Lando repeated, scoffing. "Coming from the girl who sabotages my Netflix and sets up kiddie tables for me?"
"You deserved it," you retorted, folding your arms and looking down. "You always mock me and belittle everything I do, every achievement, every effort… Do you have any idea how much that hurts?"
Lando’s confidence faltered at your confession. His eyes softened, and he took a small step closer, stroking your arm softly. "I never meant to hurt you, Y/N. I thought... I thought we were just joking around, teasing. I didn't realise-"
"Didn't realise what?" you interrupted, eyes brimming with tears. "That your words actually affect me? That I care what you think?"
Lando's hand reached out, tentatively brushing a strand of hair from your face. The touch was gentle, almost adoring, and it sent a shiver down your spine. "I'm sorry," he whispered, his voice barely audible. "I didn't know."
You closed your eyes, breathing out through your nose as you let the apology sink in. When you opened them again, the regret you saw in his eyes made you believe him. But it was the love and adoration in his gaze that convinced you.
"Lando..." you began, but your voice caught in your throat.
Before you could finish, Lando closed the distance between you, his hands cupping your face. His eyes searched yours for any sign of hesitation, but all he found was longing. Slowly, almost apprehensively, he leaned in, his lips brushing against yours in an uncertain kiss.
Your initial surprise was quickly replaced by the warmth spreading through your body. Almost automatically, your hands found their way to his shoulders, pulling him closer to you. The kiss deepened, filled with your pent-up frustration and unspoken feelings. Your hands slid up Lando's neck and you ran your hands through his hair, pulling on it softly. The sensation of Lando's hands on your body, and his lips against yours felt right, making everything else fade away.
When you finally pulled apart, both of you were breathing heavily. Lando’s forehead rested against yours, his eyes searching yours for any sign of regret. You could see the uncertainty in his gaze, and you were certain your eyes showed the same.
“What… what just happened?” you whispered, your voice shaky.
Lando sighed, running a hand through his hair, which was now slightly tousled from your fingers. “I don’t know. But it felt… right.”
You swallowed, trying to make sense of all of the emotions running wild inside you. “We can’t just pretend this didn’t happen, Lando.”
“I don’t want to,” he says firmly, his eyes locking onto yours.
You laughed softly at the situation, leaning forward to rest your head against his shoulder. Lando wrapped his arms around you straight away.
“This is not what I expected to happen,” you whispered.
Lando chuckled softly. “Me neither, but it’s not so bad, is it?”
You snuggled into his neck, sighing contently once you were comfortable. No, it wasn't bad at all.

Omg I love your recent Kerstin fic. Would you consider doing a part 2 where we actually see Kerstin get jealous due to Courtney? Maybe some smut?
yes, yes, yes yes yes.!
Tumblr media
jealousy k.c
plot: you and courtney become friends after being ex's for so long and kerstin gets a little jelly about it.
warnings: smut, public, part 2 of teammates
Tumblr media
You were healing.
With the help of Kerstin of course.
You didn’t realize until the recent international camp where Australia would vs Uzbekistan when Courtney walked in and instead of a feeling of heartbreak washing over you, you finally saw her as a normal teammate, a friend almost.
“Media duties!” Macca called out with a grin as she held her phone and the tiny microphone which had some of the girls groaning.
“Partner up!” Allanna yelled from behind her she yelled and you were at the food table putting spaghetti in your bowl, meaning that when you went back to your table everyone was partnered up except for Courtney whom you both made awkward eye contact with another and Kyra coughed to save you both from it.
“I could switch” she offered to you but you shrugged your shoulders “It should be fine” you smiled and made your way over to her “Hey,” she said softly “Hi” you smiled, excited that you were finally feeling like her teammate again and not her ex.
“Excited for the games coming up, going to your homeland soon” she pointed out and you smiled “I haven’t seen my family since the break so I’m pretty excited, I’m giving my mum about 10 seconds before she starts to cry” you laughed and she joined you.
After a few seconds Courtney turned towards you “This is nice” was all she said and you nodded “Yeah” you breathed out and the two tall girls from your team walked over to you both with whiteboards “You have been chosen” Macca said in a weird voice you could only hear in star wars and you tilted your head “sorry I don’t speak Chewbacca”.
“C'mon” Allanna sighed and grabbed your hand, walking a bit faster so you were out of earshot of the other two “Are you okay?” she asked and you nodded “I’m okay” You smiled “Yeah?” Allana asked with a smile “Yeah” you confirmed and hugged into her side where she left a chaff kiss on your head.
“You know I didn’t like the idea of Kerstin taking you after what happened at the World Cup but you and her are really good together, even on the field,” she said to you and you blushed “C'mon let's just do this interview”.
You and Courtney both sat down together in the media room as a camera guy cleaned the camera Mackenzie held a script behind it and Allana held the mic. “Why did we need to clean the camera?” Courtney asked “Raso and Ellie did a try not to laugh challenge” the guy piped up and you laughed at the idea “oh that is chaos”.
“So you’re just gonna do like a ‘who’s most likely to’ kind of thing yeah?” Kenzie asked and you nodded and the camera started rolling.
“All right, who’s most likely to forget a teammate's birthday?” she asked and you wrote down Kyra’s name and turned it around at the same time as Courtney as the room erupted in laughter “Y/n” Courtney nudged your shoulder “what” you turned to her as your faces were close.
“It’s only out of us two”
Mackenzie and Allanna’s laughter filled the room again as your eyes bulged “Sorry Kyra!”.
“Who did you write anyway?” you asked as you rubbed Kyra’s name out “Me, you were always good with dates” She shrugged, and you nodded with a smile.
“Most likely to end up on Broadway?”
You both turned around your whiteboards to reveal your name “Me” you smiled “Fun fact: before I went into footy full time, I was always in my school musicals and local ones”
“And was even good at them” Courtney chimed as she remembered going to them.
“Most likely to go on Love Island?”
You thought about it for a second and then wrote down Courtney’s name, not sure if she would take it offensively but when you turned it around she laughed and you saw your name on hers “What?” you asked “Pretty people do well on Love island” Courtney pointed out with laughter and the comment went straight over your head “no you would do well in all like the challenges they do, you and your partner would dominate” you pointed out as everyone in the room was now laughing.
You both waved to the camera still laughing at each other as the cameraman turned it off.
“Well, at least I didn’t get water all over me this time”.
That night after dinner you laid on your bed with the phone in hand where Kerstin was “So how was tonight?" she asked after having a conversation all about her first couple of days "Good we did some media shots and I was with Courtney" you explained
You were too busy explaining your story that you didn’t see Kerstin's eyes when you mentioned your ex-girlfriend. “I miss you,” she told you with a smirk “Babe it’s been a week” you laughed but her stare didn’t change “I miss you too” you admitted with a smile.
“You getting a tan up in Spain?” you teased, and the girl smiled “Actually I was thinking we could come up here next break” she admitted and your smile widened “I’d love that”.
When you both hung up the phone for the night you saw that the admin had posted the video of you and Courtney, but you paid no mind to it, knowing what had happened in real life.
Kerstin sat in her bed and watched it, her eyes traveling to Courtney when her arm grabbed you and swivelled you around and told you that you were playing the game wrong. Then it went to her staring at you for a reaction whenever she turned her whiteboard around.
“Pretty people do well on Love Island”
Kerstin's eyebrows shot up at the blonde girl's (her words to her girl) words, she tried not to but her finer swiped up to see all the comments that had already flooded the video.
‘did they get back together?”
↪ we don’t even know if they ever broke up.
↪ isn’t she dating Kerstin
↪ just a rumour, just friends I think
↪ y/n and Courtney is an Australian power couple
↪ Kerstin and y/n are slow launching
↪ how many girfriends does this woman have?
Kerstin shut off her phone and put it on her bedside table with a groan.
She trusts you with every bone in her body and she knows you would never ever cheat, especially with Courtney but right now all she wanted was to push the blonde Australian away so people would know you were hers.
And hers only.
Tony took you off after 60 minutes, scoring two goals and assisting Mary for hers, you had the win in for sure and you helped your team make your way into the Olympics, jumping in joy from the sidelines when Caitlin scored her hattrick.
The game finished 7-1 and the Matilda’s team were singing random songs in the change rooms to celebrate. “Congrats” Courtney said as you walked in “thanks for the assistance” you smiled as you thought back to the first goal of the match.
You were on the wing, free as your defender got slightly confused and ran onto Raso. Courtney caught your eye as she dribbled and kicked with her right foot from their square to you where you hit it from your chest back down to your foot, giving you a clear way for a boot, which you did and thankfully the ball went in.
You jumped around in excitement as the team jumped on you, Courtney as well who lent her hand out to pick you up.
You walked away back to your cubby as Courtney watched you.
Allanna picked you up as you walked over “Can’t believe Tony took you off right before you got a hattrick” she groaned “It’s fine, he told me he wanted me fit and healthy for the Melbourne game cause he’s keeping me on for the full 90” you smirked and she gasped and smiled “Chicken!” Caitlin cheered over and sat down next to you “Got good news for you”
“What may that be?”
“Viv and I figured out that we and the Netherlands are gonna be at the same airport at the same time!” she told you quickly and you jumped up “fuck yes!” you cheered, ecstatic that you get to see your girlfriend.
“Alrighty girls!” Tony walked in “pack your bags cause we’re leaving bright and early in the morning!”
You weren’t usually a morning person but the idea of you seeing Kerstin again had you waking everyone else up to be quick, you even bought mini a coffee as Harper may have kept her up.
“Thanks, darl” she complimented you with a thankful smile as you walked together, Harper deciding to jump into your arms as you all walked onto the bus.
“Want y/n” she turned to her mum who shrugged “Take her,” she told you with a smile as you and the little one both cheered.
“You are happy,” Harper told you as you both sat down and you smiled “I get to see Kerstin” You smiled and the girl put her mouth in an ‘o’ shape letting out a little sound “I like Kerstin She gave me lollies” she smiled as she remembered when you took Kerstin to a ‘Tillies’ night out.
“That did not make your mummies happy,” you told her as you remember Kerstin apologizing as she didn’t know that the lollies she gave her had so much sugar in them.
The two of you fell asleep on the bus till you were shaken awake by her mother “I can still hold her” you promised her as you all walked in, quickly going through security with the little one stuck on your shoulder.
She didn’t wake until we all put our bags down “Kerstin” she mumbled and pointed before you turned around and indeed saw your girlfriend in all orange walking towards you, a slight sense of dominance as she locked eyes with you.
“You ruined my surprise little one,” she told Harper before wrapping her arms around you, squeezing you tight before pulling back and looking at you holding a child. “I look like a mum don’t I” you laughed
“milf”
“Kerstin” you scolded and grabbed her arm “C’mon let’s take her to her real mum” you smiled.
Although you loved the little girl, you just wanted to be with your girlfriend for the little time you had.
Dropping off Harper to Mini was easy but it was as you walked by your team members that Kerstin looked around for the blonde who was already watching you pass Mini the child, Kerstin didn’t like that.
“I have to go to the toilet come,” she told you, dragging you off.
You lightly scoffed “You need to learn how to control your bladder”.
You watched as Kerstin held you tight, turning from the regular girl's toilet last second to the disabled, throwing you in and quickly closing the doors behind her.
“Kerstin this is the-“ You were cut off by her lips on hers, moaning into her right away from the impact “Kirsten” you breathed out in between kisses, she simply shooshed you and travelled her lips down your neck, pushing you onto the sink “jump” she told you her hands grabbing your ass as you did and lowered you onto the bench top.
“we’re in public” you breathed out as she sucked onto your neck. She took her head away, looking at you with lust “I just want people to know what’s mine” she told you with a shrug as if it was the easiest thing to say in the world but you felt hot at the words, or maybe because it was the way her hands travelled up your legs as she said so.
“I am yours,” you told her and she crossed her head and tutted “Not everybody knows that,” she said and you thought back….Courtney.
“Are you jealous?” you ask as the woman's fingers played with your waistband “I don’t want anyone thinking they have a chance with you” She smiled and started pulling your shorts down, your underwear along with it, throwing it on the floor before her hands went under your thighs, pulling you towards her “so wet” she smiled, kissing up your legs.
“Did she ever make you this wet?”
You gasped at the words of your girlfriend, a new side that you had never seen of her, and you loved it.
“no” you mumbled as her kiss grew closer to where you needed her.
“Good girl”
Kerstin started slowly with a slow lick through your folds, moaning at the sight of her before she went in again, faster
“Oh fuck” you stuttered, your hand now tangled in her hair that she wore out, biting down on your lip to stop yourself from moaning.
But a buzzing sound interrupted your bliss.
Courtney.
“Answer it,” Kerstin told you before entering a finger into you.
“I-“ “Answer it or I won’t go any further” Kerstin looked into your eyes, silently telling you that she meant it.
“fuck” you cursed before pressing answer and lifting it to your ear as Kerstin eagerly watched you from underneath.
“hey” Courtney said on the phone “hi” you responded and Kersten started moving her finger slowly, you bit onto your free finger to stop yourself from any noise.
“Called cause you’ve been gone for a bit and we have to board in like twenty minutes” she said through the line “Lani said you could be with Kerstin but I just wanted to make sure”
At Kerstins name being dropped you looked down to the girl who was pumping her fingers into you, entering a second finger that made you gasp.
“Are you okay?” Courtneys voice rang out
“yep” you answered quickly, maybe a bit too quickly.
“okay uhm I could find you”
At the words Kerstin sped up and you moaned out into your hand so it was muffled “That’s-“ you started but stopped “That’s okay I’m good, be there in five-ten! minutes” you said but the squeeze of Kerstin's hands on your ass told you that you were going to be a bit longer.
“oh okay, well tell me if anything changes” Courtney offered and you nodded your head frantically, trying so hard not to scream out your lover's name “Yep okay bye” you said quickly before smashing the decline bottom and placing the phone on the table.
You took your hands in Kirstens hair again as you finally were able to release “oh fuck yes Kerstin” you breathed out as she let you ride out your high. When done you pulled her up by the front of her top and kissed her, lips molding together as you could taste yourself on her lips.
“You are so jealous”.

Below the Table.
requested: yes!!
summary: y/n has to find a fake boyfriend who will convince her family during their fancy dinner, little do they know what’s going on below the table.
warnings: smut, fake dating trope, matt sturniolo x reader.
word count: 1,498!! (a little longer than usual)
Tumblr media
“and you won’t believe what i said next!” i cried out to the triplets, they all stared at me while sitting on the edge of their lounge chairs.
“cmon, tell us already!” chris giggled
“you’re killing us!” nick added.
i finally calmed down my laughter and got the words out “i told them i had a boyfriend! so now i have to find one before tonight!” i cried, burring my face into my hands while still giggling.
i looked over to matt, his face an unusual shade of pink.
“you’re fuckin’ with us,” said nick while his jaw was still hanging past his knees, “you haven’t had one since freshman year!”
“i know! i know, i’m just so sick of them teasing me about it” i replied.
“well y/n, you just created yourself a shitty night!” giggled chris while getting up. i rolled my eyes teasingly, matt still sitting quietly in the corner.
“matt did you hear what y/n just said!” wheezed nick while punching his arm, bringing him back to life.
“oh, um yea” he said quietly, looking straight back down at his phone.
“oh my god. y/n, i’ve found your date for tonight.” nick said while holding matt’s shoulders and giving him a shake, “he’s perfect for you, look how cute he is!” he said while jokingly holding matt’s face.
"what, no way, i don't want to drag poor matt into my family drama" i said while staring at matt who now had an innocent smile on his face.
"i don't mind y/n, plus it will give me an excuse to get out of the house." he said eagerly while giving me a small smirk.
"are you sure matt, this means so much you don't understand!" i squealed while getting up to join him and nick. "but no funny business," i said firmly, "this is just to help me convince my family i'm not some loner."
"whatever you say princess." matt said in a joking tone, nick giggling next to him. i couldn't help but laugh with them. "i'll see you at seven."
Tumblr media
i finally made it back to my apartment to get ready for dinner. i stood in front of my mirror in my favourite tight black dress, admiring my curves while clipping on my earrings when suddenly the doorbell rang, matt. i rushed over to the door, my heels tapping along the floor. i opened the door for him while still trying to fix my earrings.
“hey i’ll be out in a sec.” i said while focusing on grabbing my handbag and phone.
“holy shit,” matt whispered, taking in my body with his eyes, “why have i never seen you dressed like this before.” he added.
“ew matt, don’t be weird. remember this is just for tonight buddy.” i said bluntly while stepping out the door, locking it behind me. we made our way to the elevator, matt leading me by resting his hand just above my ass.
“matt get your hand off me.” i said in a jokey tone.
“hey don’t get mad at me im just trying to get into the role.” he replied while the elevator door shut behind us. i couldn’t help but laugh as his lips curled into his perfect smile.
Tumblr media
the entrance of the restaurant was crowded with people, i could feel my nerves bubbling in my stomach. we made our way over to the large table, my family shining radiant smiles in our direction.
“oh honey!” my mother said happily while pulling me into a hug “why have you been hiding this handsome man from us?” she questioned while waving a hand at matt, his smile bigger than ever.
“it’s so nice to meet you mrs y/l/n.” matt said, his voice clear and sweet.
we made our way around the table, greeting all my family members who were more than excited to finally meet my ‘boyfriend’. matt pulled my chair out, waiting for me to sit before he did.
“such a gentleman.” i teased, his ocean eyes beaming while being hidden by his dark hair.
about an hour had passed and we all had finished our meals, the rest of my family chatting now.
the restaurant was packed tonight, chatter filling the atmosphere, i could feel my clammy palms lay in my lap while my leg bounced trying to distract myself. matt gave me a worried look before placing his rough hand onto my thigh, giving me a reassuring rub with his thumb.
“it’s okay, don’t stress.” he mouthed. i gave him a warm smile before placing my hand on top of his.
i felt his hand sneaking further up my dress, my face burning up as he brushed my now throbbing clit through my laced panties. my legs bucking below the table, a small smirk painting his face as he continued to tease me. i shot him a look before being interrupted by one of my family members.
“are we ready for the bill lovebirds?” my father said with a smile on his face, unaware of what was happening below the table.
“yes sir.” matt replied while still teasing me. i felt my breathing pick up, my core begging for release.
“alright then, it was lovely meeting you matthew, you two have an amazing night.” my parents said happily.
Tumblr media
“are you serious matt?!” i said jokingly while watching him grip the steering wheel of the van.
“just part of my role princess.” he replied with a grin on his face.
his ring clad hands looking perfect as he pulled into the parking lot, the headlights beaming. “want me to walk you up?” he questioned. i nodded happily in response. i made my way over to the elevator, feeling his presence behind me as we got in.
“you look beautiful tonight y/n/n.” he said as the elevator dinged. a blush taking over my cheeks.
“we don’t have to pretend any more matt nobody’s around.” i joked in response while jamming the keys into my door, matt still behind me as i stepped inside.
his deep eyes meeting mine, as he unbuttoned his black tux. his hair sitting perfectly above his eyes as they take me in.
“i don’t want to pretend anymore y/n.” he said with a raspy voice making his way closer to me.
“what do you mean by that matty?” i said knowing full well what he meant, my core begging for him.
his body inches away from mine as he grabbed my hips, arching me into him, my breathing hitched at the sudden friction of his bulge pushing against me. “you know exactly what i mean, stop being such a tease.” he whispered into my ear before kissing my neck. a quiet moan slipping past my lips. before i could even respond he gripped me by my ass and carried me to my room. placing me gently on the bed not daring to break our kiss.
he pulled away roughly, “you’re sure you’re okay with this?” he asked while running a thumb over my bottom lip.
“more than okay.” i said while out of breath and trying to remove my dress.
he smiled while leaving a kiss down my neck, helping me take off my dress. my red bra and matching panties exposed. his eyes burned holes into my skin as be took me in. “god you’re gorgeous.” he said rushing to undo his belt, throwing it to the floor before removing every last bit of clothing.
his cock now in his hand, tip red and drooling with precum. his finger hooked around my soaked panties before pulling them to the side. his tip now teasing my swollen clit. before i could get a word out he had bottomed out inside me hitting places i’ve never felt before.
“oh god matt!” i whimpered while gripping the sheets for support.
my pleas only driving him more, his pace picking up as the most angelic moans left his mouth. his silky hair bouncing with every thrust.
the familiar knot was growing tighter in my core as i clawed into his back. “i’m so fucking close matt.” i managed to say in between moans of pleasure.
his thrusts growing sloppier as he gripped my breast, hard enough to bruise, pornographic moans spilling from my lips as a wave of pleasure took over my body.
my tight walls now clamping down onto his veined cock, his head flying back in pleasure. he gave three hard thrusts leaving me seeing stars before filling me with long, warm ropes of thick cum.
“o-oh god.” he whimpered while falling on top of me, his arms still flexing as he held most of his weight up.
my breathing was still heavy as he lied next to me on his side, his arm propping up his head while he traced circles with his finger tips over my smooth skin.
“what happened to no funny business?” he teased while giggling.
i jokingly pushed him away, but before i could give him a response, he moved his face closer to mine leaving a soft kiss on my lips before brushing the hairs out of my face.
this was so rushed i’m so sorry 😓
i also hate the ending, but i hope you all enjoy 😘😘

Maedhros needs a hug.
I think we all agree (well, most of us at least), that Maedhros needs a hug, at the very least.
So I was thinking, what if he was adopted by a group of lesser fire spirits after he threw himself in the chasm (I could bet good money on the fact that a fanfic has already been written based on that idea, but am too lazy to check).
The chasm he threw himself in is probably a major, big-ass one - he’s a Fëanorian after all, I think he would leave in style. So there were bound to be at least a few lesser fire spirits hanging out there, with not much to do. Corrupted evil spirits have plenty to do, what with torturing people, murdering them or creating monsters, but the non-corrupted ones probably have plenty of time on their hands.
So suddenly, there's this gorgeous Elf throwing himself in their chasm. And they’re super thrilled, because the Ainu of Valinor get plenty of pretty elves hanging around them, but the lesser spirits of Middle-Earth, not so much. Plus, when they get closer, they notice that it’s not just any Elf, but a Fëanorian, a super-fiery one, one they’ve probably sneakily had a look at when he was in his Father’s forge at some point (I’m convinced fire spirits regularly sneaked into Fëanor’s forge fire to have a good look at him and his family of fiery hotties).
I’m imagining a kind of Monthy Python’s Holy Grail’s Castle Anthrax situation there : they all jump on his fëa as fast as they can, to make sure he doesn’t escape towards Mandos’s halls or any funny business like that, and of course Maedhros doesn’t put up much of a fight given that :
He’s super tired, even in disembodied fëa form ;
He very much does NOT want to go to Mando and, as far as he had planned ahead, was determined to give him the slip. He’s already been imprisoned once, thank you very much, he’s not doing it again.
So when Mandos finally comes looking for him, the fire spirits hide him in under a fire blanket and pile of throw pillows or whatever the equivalent would be in a fiery chasm, put on their most innocent look, and say they’ve seen nothing.
“An Elf ? Why would there be an Elf in a fire chasm ? We haven’t seen any Elves around here. And even if we had, they’d been gone by now. In this direction, yes, over there. Nothing to see here, no Sir, certainly no murderous fiery Elf.”
Mandos doesn’t press the matter too much, because he’s got a group of Avari Elves that have eaten poison berries to take care of, and he already feels the start of a headache coming.
Maedhros spends the next age or so being absolutely pampered by the fire spirits, who can’t believe their luck. They braid his fëa hair and make him fiery buttered crumpets. They chill on the fiery sofa and they make him laugh by telling mean jokes about the water spirits and making funny impersonations of Ulmö. I’m picturing an Odysseus/Calypso situation there. He’s having a nice time. He’s got no one to manage, he’s not in charge of any siblings, he’s got no hopeless war to fight and no Oath to fulfil. He can finally relax with his fire spirit pals.
Eventually, someone spills the beans to Mandos. Of course, it’s a water spirit. They’ve been eyeing Maglor for an age, holding their breath as he gets closer and closer to the water, hoping - surely, this time he’ll go in !- but he never does, so since they can’t get their hot pet Elf, it’s unfair that the other ones do.
Mandos decides to kill two birds with one stone on this one, and sends Fingon to get him. He’s been trying to get rid of Fingon for almost as soon as he’d arrived - “You did a magical rescue ! Manwë sent you his eagle ! You waged a war against Evil ! You died a heroe’s death ! You have nothing to do here !” - but Fingon has always stubbornly refused to be reembodied until Maedhros had at least arrived. He’s got five other Fëanorians plus a bunch of their followers who also refuse for the same reason. He thinks he’s finally got a solution.
So by the time Fingon arrives in the fiery chasm, Maedhros has chilled and relaxed enough that he is able to consider the whole atone for his sins in Mandos in a more sanguine way. It will be mostly fine. He did some terrible things. He won’t be tortured. He’ll be ok. Fingon will be there. So he only puts up the bare minimum of a fuss before following Finno.
“I can’t go back, I’m an accursed kinslayer. Everybody there reviles me. There is no hell so profound that is sufficient to punish the tenth part of my sins…” (He has spent hundred of years hanging out with Maglor, who has some serious Drama-Queen tendencies, and also came up with that last line before Marguerite de Navarre).
“Come on, Mae, not everyone reviles you, there are many people who are waiting for you there, and you’ll get reembodied eventually…”
“Do not insist, dear friend, I am the most accursed of the accursed, I’ll never finish atoning for my sins, I'll be cast aside, universally hated, like I deserve…”
“Maitimo Nelyafinwë ! Stop it this instant ! You’re going to Mandos now, and you’re going to be reembodied, and you’ll give a kiss to your Mom you’ve been waiting for you all this time !”
So he leaves, much to the chagrin of the fire spirits. Well, at least, they all had a good time.

THANKFUL - CHRIS STURNIOLO
Tumblr media
summary: you’re bringing chris to your family’s thanksgiving dinner for the first time.
warnings: none! <3
i haven’t written a fic in foreverrrr and this is my first post on this acc, so i’m sorry if this is sloppy 😭
“chris have you seen my- you’re shaving?!” you exclaim, well aware that you’ve been begging him to shave for about a week now and he just shrugged it off.
“stop y/n, i need to look good,” he groans, not looking away from himself in your childhood bathroom mirror.
“well i can assure you that there’s no one to impress there besides old ladies,” you joke, winking at him through the mirror, only to receive an eye roll in return.
“you look great chrissy, i promise.”
as you two get in the car with your parents, you rest your hand on his knee and start rubbing it gently to let him know he’s gonna be okay, seeing how nervous he is. “i love you,” you whisper in his ear, making his cheeks turn light pink.
chris is well aware of how your family is structured, and knowing that he’s just some youtuber from boston who didn’t go to college makes him really nervous. on the plane ride to your parents house, he couldn’t stop telling you how nervous he was that your family wouldn’t like him, but little did he know you knew they would love him. ever since your mom met him for the first time, she couldn’t stop sharing with everyone about how much she loves him, so of course everyone begged you to bring him to thanksgiving.
“alright we’re here!” your mom exclaims and chris inhales deeply.
“chris i promise you, you’re gonna be okay.”
“i know, i just want to make the best impression i can,” he smiles faintly, taking your hand in his.
“well the only way you can do that is by being yourself,” you smile, squeezing his hand gently.
you two trail up the walkway behind your parents, walking into the house full of laughter and chatter. your moms sister spots you four walking in and gasps, taking everyone in a big hug before stopping at chris.
“you must be the one and only chris! i’ve heard so much about you! i’m susanne,” she smiles, taking chris in a hug as well.
“it’s really nice to meet you!” he smiles, watching as she begins to come over to you.
“oh my! he’s so handsome, you guys will have the cutest kids!” she ‘whispers’ well aware chris can hear her, making you and her both let out a little chuckle. after chris gets past the introductions with everyone, you realize there are a couple of people who he hasn’t met yet. as you walk over to your cousin, you tap her shoulder and ask her, “where’s julie and lily?”
“they’re upstairs, you know where to find them,” she smiles, giving you a head nod. you take chris’ hand and lead him to where your little cousins are, who you always have to babysit when it comes to the holidays.
“hi guys!” you smile, peaking your head around the door frame.
“y/n! hi!” they both exclaim, rushing over to hug you. as they do, that’s when they spot chris. both of their mouths drop, and you can instantly tell they’re shocked.
“who is this?” the youngest one, julie, shyly asks. her cheeks turn a little pink as she does so.
“this is my boyfriend chris! i’ve told you guys about him before,” you smile at chris, gently rubbing over his thumb with yours.
“hi guys, it’s nice to meet you! are these your dolls?” he questions, gesturing to the mess of barbie clothes and dolls on the floor.
“y-yeah they are! do you guys want to play with us?” lily asks.
“aw lils we’d love to but we also want to catch up with all of the adults downstairs. can we maybe play with you after dinner?”
“mhm!” lily smiles quickly going back to her game with julie. you and chris then head back downstairs, and you already notice chris is less nervous than before. after about an hour of just talking with everyone, it’s finally time for dinner. of course you grab a seat next to chris, and make sure that all the young adults are surrounding you guys at the table. your cousins boyfriend, johnny, is sat across from chris, and you already know that they’ll get along great.
“so you’re from boston right? does that make you a celtics fan?” johnny asks.
“i’m not too big on basketball, but i’ve been to plenty of celtics games. where are you from?” chris asks johnny, and you just watch in enjoyment.
“i’m from milwaukee, so of course i’m a bucks fan. but if you’re not into basketball what sports do you like?”
“well i grew up playing hockey, so im a big bruins fan,” chris smiles. the two boys keep talking for the entirety of dinner, and you just can’t let your smile go. watching chris get along with your family makes you so happy.
eventually the night ends, and nearly every old lady had pulled you aside to tell you how cute chris is, and that they love his fun energy. as you and chris get unready from dinner, chris receives a facetime call from matt. he answers it, and you quickly come running into the bathroom to say hi.
chris props his phone against the mirror as matt and nick fill the screen, “hi guys! how was your dinner?” nick asks.
“it was really good! dont you think chris?”
“mhm! y/n’s family is really great,” he smiles down at you, wrapping an arm around you as he does so.
“did you guys have a good dinner too?” he asks, watching as his brothers scavenge through the kitchen for late night snacks.
“yeah, same food as always,” nick chuckles.
“you guys aren’t mad at me for stealing chris this thanksgiving, right?” you ask.
“no not at all! there was actually food leftover for once, since chris wasn’t there to eat it all,” matt laughs, making chris flip him off.
“when do you guys leave for boston?” nick asks.
“our flight leaves at about 7:30 tomorrow, so we probably should be going to bed soon,” you state, seeing that the clock reads 11:25 pm.
“alright well goodnight guys, we’ll pick you up from the airport tomorrow. just text us updates okay?” nick says, and you and chris nod. the phone call ends, and you both climb into bed.
“did you have fun tonight? you and johnny really hit it off,” you smile at him.
“your family is really welcoming, i mean i should’ve known with how welcoming your parents are, but still,” he chuckles.
“i’m really glad you came chris. i’m really thankful for you.”
“i am too.”

Different but still the same
Tumblr media
Summary: you and Joe see each other again at your parents barbecue and you both still have a spark.
Warnings: fluff, kissing
—————
Being back in Athens for the summer was really nice! It was only mid June and the sun was shining and no clouds in the sky. Your parents every year host a start of summer barbecue filled with neighbors, cousins, and friends and family all crowded in what little fenced in backyard.
You were getting ready in your bathroom curling the ends of your hair and putting final touches on your makeup. You were wearing black Jean shorts and a black short sleeve bodysuit. It snatched your waist perfectly with your shorts. You slid on your shoes and headed out your childhood bedroom after down with getting ready. Walking down the stairs you see your parents in the kitchen getting everything ready inside and outside. “Hey hon!” Your mom says. “Hi! How’s it going you say?” Your mom walks over to you and hands you a few plastic cups and says “good! But do you mind putting these out for me outside?” “Sure” you say. Once placing those out people started to arrive. Most of your friends are on vacation so it’s really just you and your parents friends who always integrate you about your love life and work which you don’t really love talking about. The only people you would talk to are the Burrows. Robin and jimmy burrow who have known you since you were 4 years old. They always thought of you as a daughter and love seeing you. You always feel like you could talk to them about anything. They have a son who of course is the towns most prized possession. Joe burrow the son of Robin and Jimmy and QB1 for the Cincinnati Bengals. You have had a crush on him since you were 6 years old but of course let go of it when you went to college. You still thought he looked cute and now more mature.
After a while more people start to arrive and you are so excited when you see Robin and Jimmy! “Y/n?” Robin exclaims. “Robin!” You say back as you go to hug her. “How have you been?”she asks. “I’ve been good! Working a lot!” You say as you also go and hug Jimmy. “What do you do for work?” Jimmy asks. “I’m a speech therapist for kids!” You say. “Y/n that’s amazing! I know you always wanted to work with kids!” Robin says. After a few minutes of catching up with the burrows something catches Robins eye. “Joe, over here.” She says and tells him to come here. You turn around and see him. Joe the person you had a crush on your whole childhood and is now standing right in front of you. “Y/n?” Joe asks as he goes and hugs you. “Hi Joe!” You say hugging back. “How have you been? I haven’t seen you in forever!” He says. “I’ve been good! Working you know!” You say smiling back. Just before Joe could answer back your mom calls you from the other side of the backyard to meet some new friends she meet at her club. “One sec mom!” You turn your head back to Joe and say “sorry, but catch you later?” He looks at your mom then at you and says “Yeah.” You brush his arm with your hand and give a warm smile before walking away.
Joes POV
She was just as beautiful as I remember. Y/n the girl I have been in love with since a little boy. Her smile is just as gorgeous as I remember and her laugh fills the air with love and joy. We haven’t talked in two years well some texts here and there but that’s really it. I think about her all the time. Which might sound a little weird but she made me who I am today. She taught me how to be myself and not care what others think. She taught me not to fight back and stay calm because let’s just say I didn’t always think before I did something. She was my best friend. We kinda just fell out of contact because of our different paths in life. I was so happy to find out y/n was back in Athens for the summer. I thought this is my chance to do what I’ve always needed to do. Tell her how I feel about her and that’s exactly the plan.
Back to present
Your mom and her friends talked for a while and you just stood there. You were was thinking about Joe.
After dinner everyone heads inside to watch college football. You have no interest in football unless Joe is playing. You decided to clean up the mess in the kitchen instead of watching. As you were wiping the dirty dishes in the sink you could feel a pair of eyes on you. Those ocean blue eyes just staring trying to figure you out. You didn’t look up and see joe knowing it would ruin the moment so you just continued cleaning. After a couple more dirty dishes put away you decided to step outside onto the back porch to get some air. You put your drink on the bug wood fence and just stared out into the backyard thinking about Joe again and how crazy life has changed. After a few minutes out there you hear the sliding door open then close. You knew it was Joe. “Hey!”he says. “Hi!” You answered back. After a few moments of silence you speak up. “So tell me burrow, how does it feel being in the NFL?” You smile. Joe laughs and says “it feels pretty good!” You both start laughing and just stare into each others eyes. “Listen y/n I’ve been meaning to tell you something for a really long time.” He gives you a look and you could tell he was nervous. “What I’ve been meaning to tell you is-” you both turn to the sound of the sliding glass door open. “Sorry guys, but y/n do you mind come saying goodbye to everyone. Oh and Joe I think your parents are leaving too.” Your mom says. “Ok” you and Joe both say. As you walk back in you say “so what is it that you wanted to tell me?” He looks at you and goes “oh! Don’t worry about it.” “Oh um, ok.” You say kinda confused he doesn’t want to tell you anymore. As you say your goodbyes to everyone Robin and Jimmy come give you a hung and they tell you that you are welcomed over anytime. You smile and say thank you. Joe gives you a little wave to say goodbye and you wave back and close the door. After cleaning up a little more you say good night to your parents and head upstairs. You shower and put on your pjs followed by putting on a crew neck and your glasses. As you are getting into bed you hear a thud on your window followed by another and another. You are confused on what is going on so you open the window. You look down and couldn’t believe who was standing on your lawn in pitch black. It was Joe. “Joe! What are you doing!”you say trying to be quiet. “Sorry, but do you mind coming down. I need to talk to you.” You contemplate going down and finally agree. You slip on your Ugg’s and head out side. “What do you need to tell me at ten o’clock at night Joey?” You ask. “What I’ve been needing to do for a long time y/n.” He pulls you into his embrace and wraps his right arm around your waist and puts his left hand on your neck pulling you into his lips. You are taken back for a sec but stay kissing him. You couldn’t believe it. You are kissing Joe burrow. The one you have had a massive crush on since you were a little girl. After probably making out for five minutes you pull back smiling. “that was a good answer, burrow!” You say. “Thanks!” Joe says. “Look y/n I have always loved you. I know we fell out of touch but I can’t stop thinking about you. You have always been the one for me. The one I want to wake up to every morning and the one I want to fall asleep next to. The one I want to laugh with and the one I want to cry with when I watch The Notebook. You’re the one I want y/n.” Joe says looking into your eyes filled with tears. You wipe his tears as tears begin in your eyes. “Want to hear something?” You ask with a laugh. Joe laughs and says “what!” I have always loved you too. Ever since we were six years old and you were teaching me how to throw a football. You have always been my person even when we didn’t talk. I would walk into a grocery store and find one of your favorite foods and think to myself “Joe would like that!” You laugh and say “I love you burrow!” And pull him into a kiss. As you were full on making out with Joe you both hear claps and cheers you look around and see yours and joes parents. They were so excited you guys finally confessed. You and Joe both looked at each other.
You and Joe just laughed and pulled each other in for a loving hug and faded into the night.

steve harrington x fem!reader
steve has a habit of ordering your opposite
cw: eating/food, she/her pronouns, steve is so in love, reader struggles making decisions, one slight nsfw comment
wc: 1.1k
༺♡༻
hawkins summers are brutal.
being a landlocked state meant no access to an ocean, otherwise known as the best place to cool off.
steve made sure the two of you avoided lover’s lake like the plague too.
it was crowded, murky, and filled with far too many people that steve would be okay with never seeing again.
you and steve find time together whenever you can. his pool is usually occupied by the party during the day and occasionally the night but with him working at family video and you at the record store, days are often spent dealing with nagging customers instead of each other.
steve calls you while you’re at work. you know he is too, probably bored out of his mind from organizing movies.
both you and him are very grateful neither of your bosses check the phone log. either of you would without a doubt be questioned on the multitudes of calls between family video and jason lee’s music store.
“hey,” he greets. “got any plans for tonight?”
you twirl the phone cord around your finger. “i was hoping my boyfriend was available to hang out but he hasn’t asked me. so i mean i guess i’m free.”
no matter the length you and steve have been dating, the shameless flirting and honeymoon stage hasn’t seemed to waver.
“well if he hasn’t asked you then i guess it’s my time to shine,” he started. “what time do you get off?”
“six ‘clock,” you answer.
“i’ll pick you up then.” he doesn’t explain your plans but you don’t mind. being with steve is enough.
“it’s a date,” you confirm.
you faintly hear the bell chime in the background on his end.
“alright i gotta get going, new wave of customers,” steve groans. “i’ll see you soon, though. i love you!”
you blush. “i love you too.”
___
you’re out the door at 6:01, the extra minute needed for clocking out and collecting your things.
just like he promised, steve is waiting in the parking lot. he’s out of the car, leaning against the hood with his arms crossed.
you falter for a moment at his appearance. he’s shed his family video vest, leaving him in just a white t-shirt with two stripes and jeans, specifically the ones that hug his thighs perfectly.
“hi baby,” steve greets. his arms circle around you, pulling you into him as he sighs. “feels like i haven’t seen you in forever.”
you giggle. “i saw you yesterday.”
he shakes his head. “too long.”
the convenience store is right down the road from where you work. steve holds your hand as you walk in, dragging you through the aisles until you get to the back as you laugh.
the slurpee machine is thankfully working though you were sure if it wasn’t, you would’ve heard about it. it once went down during memorial day weekend and every customer that came into your work complained about it. it was brutal.
steve leaves you in the back, letting you know he’s going to grab some other snacks and will be back in a few moments.
you look towards the slurpee machine, head tilting slightly as you watch the drink rotate throughout the barrel.
a hand snaking around your waist snaps you out of your trance.
“what flavor are you going to get, baby?”
he’s pressed so close to you, whispering the question like it’s the most important secret in the world. you know if you call him out on his special awareness, he’ll claim that ‘this is the one time it’s cool enough in public for me to hold you.’ you don’t mind. steve’s your boy, the closeness is nice.
“i dunno,” you mumble. small decisions like this stress you out.
his hand around you squeezes your hip. silent reassurance.
it takes a few moments for you to pick. both look good and you take your time clicking your tongue to imagine what flavor you taste.
“cherry,” you finally decide, pointing to the side with the red slush.
“good choice,” he compliments.
steve kisses your forehead before stepping forward. like the gentleman he is, he grabs two cups, larges, and fills them up; one cherry and one blue raspberry.
he pays too and you pout. “i wanted to treat you.”
“next time,” steve promises, pressing his lips quickly to yours.
you know he’s lying.
you settle back into the passenger's seat of his car. steve’s slurpee sits firmly in the cupholder. his hand falls down to your leg and you squirm when his cold fingers touch your thigh. steve finds it hilarious.
it takes you a bit to get to your destination. once arriving, steve parks at the edge of the quarry.
it’s cooled down significantly, allowing steve to shut of the car’s ac and roll the windows down. it’s still sticky out but the cold slurpee in your hand helps that.
tears for fears plays softly out of the bmw’s sound system. you know it’s from the cassette you gifted him. perks of working at a record store.
you talk quietly back and forth about wherever comes to mind: your work schedule, the stars, plans for the weekend. but then you go quiet.
“hey stevie?”
“yeah baby?”
when you don’t immediately respond, steve’s head lolls to meet your eyes.
you’re curled up in the passenger's seat, legs tucked to your chest and head resting against the cool leather. you’re staring at him. he’s surprised he hasn’t felt your gaze until this point. but that’s how things typically are between the two of you; silence is never uncomfortable.
steve rests his hand on your naked knee, thumb rubbing back and forth. “everything okay?”
you nod, biting your lip to suppress a giggle.
“can we trade?” you smile and for a second steve thinks you don’t realize what you’re doing.
he sighs, though a smile tugs at the edges of his lips.
“of course, baby.”
you grin as he hands his blue raspberry slurpee and he takes your cherry one. success.
“you know, if you weren’t so cute i wouldn’t have traded,” steve huffs.
he’ll never admit it, or maybe not anytime in the future, but he makes it a point to order the opposite of what you get.
if you’re out to eat and decide on a salad, steve will get a burger with extra fries. you pick chocolate ice cream and steve is ordering vanilla (with sprinkles). whatever you decide, even if steve doesn’t want it, he gets the contrast.
so, when you inevitably ask to switch, your other option is always your favorite.
like now, when blue raspberry seems like the better flavor over cherry.
“come on stevie. you should know that my favorite color is purple,” you titter, poking your tongue out to show the result of mixing the two slurpees.
steve beams.
“i do baby, i do.”

Canadian Wonders (Jessie Fleming x Reader)
Tumblr media
Warnings: None
A/N: This is so cute my heart melts for jessie
Prompt: Reader is australian, and has never seen a lot of snow before. So Jessie takes her to her home town to meet her family and have a traditional Canadian winter.
When you’ve lived in the land down under for 20 years, and then move to play for a huge club like Chelsea at 21, a lot of things take adjusting. But somehow, it wasn’t the intense training, or the new people, that was the biggest adjustment. It was the weather. You never went to university, not being a big scholar and being raised in a broken home with little money. Instead, you opted to go pro right away. You went pro in 2020, and was relieved to know you would have another aussie at the club with you. You and Sam Kerr had been playing together since you were 15 and she was 18. Soon enough, you got known as a pretty dynamic duo, arriving to winter practices in huge puffy coats, and covered head to toe. You were both strikers, and Emma loved playing you both at the top. In a bit over two years, you both reached your 100th game for Chelsea, having collected between the both of you, 169 goals and 32 assists.
In the middle of 2020, you met Jessie Fleming.
You both started dating in 2021, and 2 years later, you were still going strong. Jessie finally decided she wanted you to meet her family in person, and see her home town. So, in january of 2023, you hoped on a plane to London, Ontario. And you thought London, England was cold…
You stepped out of the small London, Ontario airport, the freezing cold hitting you right away. "I told you to put a coat on baby," Jessie said, laughing at your shocked face. "I didn’t think it would be this cold!" You said, shivering. "I warned you!" Jessie said, opening her long winter coat. You quickly dropped your bag at your feet and abandoned your suitcase, putting your arms around her and feeling the comfort of her body. Jessie closed the big coat around the both of you, kissing the top of your head.
You were taller than her only by an inch, but in your cold state, you were hunched over to stay warm.
"How quickly is Eylsse gonna get here?" You whined. "Just texted her, she’ll be here in- oh there she is." Jessie said.
You reluctantly left the comfort of your girlfriends body, pulling away and seeing Elysse and Tristan driving up in the family subaru. You saw the pure joy in their eyes, the happiness of seeing their sister. You felt happy for Jessie, happy she had that bond with her siblings, but also sad that yours hadn’t reached out to you in years.
Tristan and Elysse stepped out of the car, Elysse running up to Jessie and jumping in her arms. Tristan seemed more reserved, more like Jessie, so you opted for a simple handshake. "It’s nice to meet you in person, you’re taller than you seem on family facetimes." Tristan says. "Don’t lie to me," you laughed, knowing very well you were not tall. "Hey, Elysse!" You said. She hugged you tightly, smiling at you wildly. "I love your nose piercing, oh my god it looks so good on you! I’ve always wanted one but I don’t know if it would suit me." You say to Elysse. "You should get one! I know a really good guy if you want!" Elysse said, smiling at you. "I’ll think about it. Let’s just please get out of the cold." You said, grabbing both yours and Jessie’s luggage and bringing it to the car.
"Did you not tell your aussie girlfriend to wear a coat in Canada?" Elysse laughed, addressing her sister. "I did! She didn’t listen!" Jessie answered, watching as her girlfriend and brother put the luggage in the trunk. "She’s a gentleman," Elysse said, smiling. "You haven’t seen anything yet."
———
Michaele and John Fleming met you with open arms. Literally. The Fleming’s were warm, and inviting, the house smelled like fresh food and slightly of paint. You had all finished eating supper, a meal cooked to perfection by both Jessie’s parents, and were now sitting in the living room.
"I’m so happy you all managed to get time off work and school." Michaele said, pouring you a cup of coffee. "Me too, it’s really nice here." You said, thanking her with a nod for the warm drink. "You haven’t even hiked yet." Jessie told you. "Hiking? It’s too cold to hike." You said, shocked people went outside willingly in this weather. "Is not. In fact, that’s our first activity."
It was known to everyone that Jessie loved order. So when she told you that she had specific activities planned, you weren’t at all suprised.
"Tomorrow morning, 5:00 am, sunrise hike. Then skating on the mountain, then I want to bring you to a really cute coffee shop and show you my elementary school." Jessie said. "5:00 am!" You said, but we’re ignored. "Don’t forget your appointment! You’re getting a nose ring at 5:00 pm tomorrow." Elysse said.
It was true, the youngest Fleming had convinced you to go for it. Worse case scenario, you didn’t like it and let the hole close.
"How could I forget? Just you and me for that one, Els?" You asked her. "Yeah, mum and I are making supper. We’re only here three days." Jessie said.
A few hours later, you went to bed in Jessie’s childhood bedroom. It was surreal being in that are, seeing the trophies, the blue walls, the medals and framed pictures. "What would 14 year old you say if she knew that 24 year old you was lying in this same bed with her girlfriend?" You asked her as she traced patterns on your stomach. "I think she would pass out."
———
As Jessie had said, the next morning she had woken you up at 5:00 am. The whole thing was a blur. You remembered her literally having to dress you, and her telling you to be quiet as you tip toed down the stairs. She had bundled you up in a warm hat, a big winter coat, gloves and a scarf. Your hood was up the second you were out the door. You had fallen asleep in the car, and by the time you were to the mountains, it was almost 6:30.
"You ready baby?" Jessie said, opening the door for you and laughing at your grunt of an answer. You didn’t stay mad for long though, as you saw the still starry winter night peeking through the pine trees. "Oh, Jess. This is beautiful." You told her.
The both of you started your hike. Jessie had her camera with her and was taking pictures of you, and the world surrounding you the whole time you walked up the mountain. The snow was mangeable, due to the trail having been plowed. By the time you arrived at the top of the mountain, the sun was rising. Jessie pulled out a cover from her bag and put it in the snow. You cuddled up next to her, sipping a mocha Jessie had made.
The sky was painted orange, pink, red, yellow and purple, it was the most beautiful thing you had ever seen. Well, second most beautiful thing. Jessie would always be first. "I’m happy you brought me here." you told her, peering into her eyes. "I’m happy you like it here." She answered. "One day, when we retire from football, I wouldn’t mind having a family with you here." You told her, nervous of her answer.
You didn’t meet her eyes, that is until she used her gloved fingers to lift your chin up. "I want that more than anything." Jessie said, kissing you lovingly.

Dog Walker- Sunghoon x Reader feat. Yang Jungwon
Tumblr media
MASTERLIST wc- 1k warnings- none :) just fluff
Tumblr media
You were walking around the park watching the dog next to you trot happily. A dog walking job for the summer wasn’t really smart on your part but you needed the money. Your family wanted to go on a trip during the winter and you wanted to bring back souvenirs for your friends. You giggled as the dog sped up, you decided to speed up too. That was not smart either!
At some point you ended up jogging then running to keep steady with the dog. He was a bigger breed and at this point you were being dragged. People around you started to become a blur, and unfortunately so did the people in front of you.
Your vision was gone when the dog started running towards a group and got roped up with one of the guys. That led you to knock into him and fall over on the grass next to the pavement.
“I am so sorry!” You spoke in a frantic manner as you tried to get untangled, one of the boys must’ve unleashed the dog because he was not around you.
“Its- Its okay!” The guy was flailing under you trying to get untangled. You kept trying to get out by wiggling but stopped when you realized that he stopped moving.
“Y/n?” He blinked, looking confused you looked up.
“Jungwon!”
Quickly, you both got out and got the leash back on the dog, thankfully one of the guys was holding onto the dog’s collar. Once sat up and brushed off, Jungwon looked at you.
“It has been so long!” He pulled you into a hug and you hugged him back laughing. The dog ended up sitting down next to the two of you, worn out.
“It really has! I haven’t seen you since middle school! What have you been doing?” You asked.
Jungwon let out a small laugh, “a lot actually! um! These are my friends!” He turned to his six friends and your jaw practically dropped, all of them were idol looking. Clear skin, nice hair, jaw dropping, “guys! This is Y/n! My childhood friend!”
“Um hello!” Your voice sounded awkward, you felt awkward compared to these 6 people your age who looked SO put together. Especially the tall one with the mole on his face. He had such nice eyebrows and he looked sculpted out of a museum. You looked back at Jungwon in hopes you weren’t going to embarrass yourself.
“It’s genuinely so nice seeing you again!” Jungwon grinned at you, “I remember when we used to throw wet toilet paper on the ceiling!”
Your jaw dropped, “I- HAHA YEAH!” You shifted awkwardly; you didn’t want his hot friends to think you were a troublemaker!
Quickly, you pulled Jungwon aside, “dude! Who are your friends?”
“Uhhhhhhhhh I met them at work!” He laughed, Jungwon clearly found the whole situation hilarious.
“Its not funny!” You said quickly and shoved him lightly. He went to retaliate but he saw something behind you and quickly shoved you along.
“I will text you, go back home right now. Just trust me!”
Blinking, you and the dog walked back to the owner’s home. What the hell just happened?
---
“If I end up on Twitter, I am going to kill you Yang Jungwon!” You yelled at him from across your dinner table. It had been a couple days and Jungwon finally decided to explain to you what he does for a living.
“I am honestly shocked you didn’t know; my face is plastered on multiple buildings…” Jungwon mumbled, “and its fine! If that girl took a picture management will take it down!” He waves his hand around to brush it off.
“Where is the dog?” Jungwon asked, changing the subject. You sighed and sat down again.
“That’s not my dog, I am a dog walker.” He turned his head to the side when you explained your job.
“Why are you walking dogs for money?”
You looked up at him, with your brows furrowed, “because I’m not a k-pop idol like you and your hot friends?” Your statement came out as a question- an annoyed one at that.
“YOU THINK MY FRIENDS ARE HOT?” Jungwon’s jaw dropped, and he threw his head back laughing, “which one do you think is the best looking?”
“I don’t know their names!” You said quickly, “can we please talk about something else?”
Jungwon shook his head no and jumped into a seat at the table closer to you, “I am going to pull up photos and tell me which one you think is the best looking!”
“You are the worst.” You mumbled but gave into his antics.
You watched as he scrolled through his friends, “this is Jake.”
You shook your head no, that was not the guy, “that was the one that took the dog and watched him while we got untangled. That isn’t the guy.”
Jungwon looked at you, “YOU ALREADY HAD ONE OF MY FRIENDS IN MIND?”
Your jaw dropped and you shoved him, “leave me alone! Go to the next guy already!”
“Okay okay! This is Sunghoon!”
Oh man, this was the guy. You saw the photo of him, it was from one of their shoots you guessed. His hair was done and was waved perfectly. The way the light bounced off his figure was insane.
“Y/n? Is this the one you think is hot? Earth to Y/n!” Jungwon waved in front of your face.
“Huh?”
“YOU SO LIKE SUNGHOON! I’M GONNA TELL HIM!” At that, he got up and went to your door. You chased after him, but he was already down to the sidewalk.
“SAY ANYTHING AND I WILL HAVE YOUR MOM KILL YOU!” You shouted out, now standing on your fence. You couldn’t help the small smile rising on your features. You did miss Jungwon a lot, he brought out the kid in you that you thought was long forgotten…
---
As you were in your room scrolling through Instagram you got a text from Jungwon on Snapchat. You opened it and laid your head down immediately after seeing the contents. You’d be lying if you said you didn’t kick your feet a little.

You were going to kill Yang Jungwon… After you add Sunghoon… And text him… And try to make him your boyfriend…

too sweet
three
eddie looks out the window of his car as he drives through his home town of hawkins. he hadn’t been back in hawkins for awhile, but he knew nothing would change. everyone in this town was afraid of any change as well as anything—or anyone—who was different.
eddie turns as he quickly watches his girlfriend look around. she’d grew up in a much bigger state im a much bigger city. but, she knew what it was like to be an outcast. he wasn’t nervous at all!
eddie knew she’d understand if they ran into someone from his past that was a complete dick. he’d even expected it to happen the whole week they’re here. eddie had grown over time too.
it wasn’t like he’d been afraid of being himself or pretend to be someone else, no! eddie wasn’t gonna let people bully him into being some posh asshole.
it didn’t mean it didn’t hurt sometimes though. whenever he asked a girl out and they’d laugh in his face before telling them whole school what a loser he’d been. now eddie is more confident, though! he made it big. all the people who treated him like shit still lived in hawkins, working some shitty job while he’s out there living the rockstar dream. eddie proved them all wrong!
now he’s bringing his beautiful girlfriend, who’s just as successful as he is, to meet his family and friends and he couldn’t lie, he wanted to show her off. rub his amazing life in their faces.
yn family wouldn’t be coming for a while. they didn’t want to stay in hawkins long so they’ll only been out for here for the final two days the couple planned to stay. they’ll all meet one another, go out to a nice restaurant, and hopefully become one big family. after eddie’s officially gonna ask her to move in with him.
yn moves her hand to caress eddie’s shoulders as they stop at the stoplight and wait for it to turn green. eddie grabs her hand and kisses the back of it. “you nervous?”
yn shakes her head. she’s pretty excited to meet the man that raised eddie! she’d heard nothing but great things about wayne.
“im super excited actually. i can’t wait to meet wayne and everyone else. we’re headed to steve’s and nancy’s tonight, yeah?
“yeah! im excited actually. i get to see my god-kids.” eddie explained.
nancy and steve have three perfect little babies and one on the way. steve’s always wanted a big family. growing up as the only child with your parents never really being around seemed so lonely. steve never wanted that when having kids! he wanted his children to have a good life with loving parents. though steve is a very successful businessman, he still made time for his children! work was important to him, but his family mattered more.
eddie was named god-dad to each of their kids while robin was named god-mom. it’s gonna be nice to see the tiny little harrington’s run around the house again.
“you seem pretty excited!”
“haven’t seen the kids in so long. i love those little rascals!” eddie states.
once eddie finally pulls into the driveway of his old trailer home, he honks to horn and wayne comes out. eddie smiles widely as he opens the car door and wraps his arms around the man that raised him.
“my boy!” wayne whispers as he hugs eddie tightly.
the munson men watch as yn stares at them with such adoration in her eyes. “wayne, this is my girl, yn! yn, this is my uncle wayne.”
yn puts her hand out for him to shake but instead she got a hug herself. yn wraps her arms around wayne before pulling away. “sorry darling, you’re family now! family gets hugs.” yn blushes as eddie wraps his arms around her.
“you two staying here, right? not some hotel room?”
“i told you wayne, it was one time and i was trying to give you privacy.” eddie playfully rolls his eyes.
when corroded coffin made it big and eddie got big money, his first visit to hawkins he got a hotel room about an hour away from hawkins. he wanted wayne to have his privacy and it felt good to be able to spend money knowing he’d have plenty left over. since then, wayne has been teasing him about it. eddie hasn’t gotten a hotel since.
“yeah, we’re staying. ill get our bags.” yn starts before both wayne and eddie tsk and shake their heads.
“no, you’re gonna go inside sit down and relax. eds and i got the bags.”
she was about to protest until eddie kisses her gently. “you heard the man! go.” he smiles at his girlfriend before she nods, walks inside the trailer house, and looks around.
it reminds her of her own place back in houston. she also grew up in a trailer home. she never understood the criticism on trailer homes. she finds them more cozy and comfortable than any home she’s ever been in.
yn felt arms being wrapped around her. she jumps a bit before leaning into eddie’s embrace. “so, what do you think? can you see young eddie running around here?”
yn chuckles and nods. “definitely! i see you sitting on the couch, planning the next campaign to dnd.”
eddie hums.
“that’s the first thing my boy did when he came home. on the couch scribbling in that damn journal. i knew he’d always make something of himself.”
eddie smiles at his uncle. “let me show you to my room. im sure wayne’s left it exactly the same.”
“damn right!”
eddie walks yn to the small hallway. she see three doors. she assumes one’s the bathroom and the other two are bedrooms. eddie opens one bedroom door and the two of them walk in.
eddie’s room is exactly how anyone would imagine. posters of famous rockstars, a few anime posters, his band name right in the middle of the wall, a book self filled with all kinds of fantasy books, photos of his club from high school, and much more.
yn pictured eddie sitting on his bed, writing music for the band that would make it big in the end.
“it’s exactly how i pictured.”
“yeah?”
yn hums.
“i should check out your childhood room. i can imagine what it’ll look like, too.”
“yeah?”
“mhm! probably got many anime characters as well! most likely a small image of, what’s that band called you liked growing up? they’re brothers, on disney or teen nick?”
yn blushes at the thought. she knew he was talking about the jonas brothers. he’d been right though. she did in fact have an hidden image of them in her room. she didn’t want her ‘friends’ to see that photo. she knew they’d make fun of her for having some lame white boy band on her wall.
she grew up in a proximity black neighborhood and went to school with all the kids in her area. liking that stuff wasn’t exactly ‘cool’ to anyone. she already got picked on for liking anime. it’s why she didn’t want eddie meeting her family back home. she didn’t want to see all her old ‘friends’ only to be made fun of for dating him. he’s everything they’d make fun of. eddie had to deal with that his whole life in his own town. he didn’t deserve that somewhere else.
“hey, you disappeared on me. everything ok?” eddie frowns.
yn nods her head. “im good. just a little nervous meeting everyone else.”
eddie kisses the top of her head. “you got nothing to me nervous about, okay? i promise they’re gonna love you, baby.” eddie states as he kisses the top of her head.
Tumblr media
a few hours went by and both eddie and yn head to steve’s and nancy’s house. they spot a little girl being pushed on her bike by another little girl who’s slightly older.
eddie smiles as he pulls the car into the driveway and gets out after parking.
“uncle eddie!” the two little girls run towards eddie.
“ava! payton!” eddie opens his arms wide for them.
yn smiles at the sight.
yn soon sees two adults coming out of the house. she recognizes them by the photos eddie’s showed her. steve was holding a little boy. he was about five and favors nancy more than steve.
“rowan! how’s my little guy doing?”
“uncle eds!” he opens his arms out and eddie takes him. “you’ve gotten bigger?”
“mhm! im a big boy now uncle eds! daddy says if i drink all my milk i be strong.”
“that right?”
“welcome home, man! you two have a safe flight?”
“yeah! speaking of, babe, come here.” yn walks over to her boyfriend.
“guys, this is my girlfriend, yn! yn this is steve, his wife nancy, and my three perfect little god children.”
“four, soon!” nancy states as she runs her hands up and down her small bump.
“did you two find out the sex?”
“another girl. can you believe it?!”
eddie scoffs. he’d say it’s payback for all the girls steve screwed over in high school but, steve already knew. steve told him he’d have the same faith. eddie definitely believes it.
“it’s nice to meet you. eddie told me a lot about you.”
“whatever he says it’s a lie!” steve states.
all four adults laugh before heading inside. “sorry for the mess. with three kids you can barely keep the house clean for more than two hours.” nancy states.
“oh, i get it! i grew up surrounded by my family. it’s never clean.” yn states.
“kids, why don’t you head to the play room, yeah? let the adults talk boring adult talk.”
“but i wanna play with uncle eddie, daddy!” payton, the oldest sibling whines.
“hey, im gonna be here a while kid! we’ll play in a bit!”
“promise?”
“swear it.” payton hums as she kisses her uncle on the cheek before running off with her siblings to their play room.
“so, yn, how’d eddie trick you into dating him?”
eddie scoffs while yn giggles. eddie wraps his arms behind her on the couch.
“eddie is a sweetheart. it barely look convincing to date him. he’s changed a lot of the last six months.”
“next week will make seven.” eddie states with a smirk.
yn blushes as she leans into her boyfriend. she’s never been with anyone who cared enough to remember the day they started dating.
“do i hear wedding bells?” steve smirks. eddie playfully rolls his eyes. “not now. one day, though.” eddie shrugs as if that wasn’t a big deal.
yn knew she wanted to marry eddie. she could see herself walking down the aisle as her uncle gives her away to eddie and her grandmother cries, watching her grand baby get married to the man she loves. seeing it and hearing it is two different things. eddie saying they’ll have that moment meant the world to her.
nancy cheers and claps her hands together.
as the day moves on, eddie ends up playing with the kids with steve while yn and nancy get to know one another a little better. it felt like they’ve known each other their whole life.
eventually yn and eddie had to head back to wayne’s for dinner. they said their goodbyes with promises they’ll be back tomorrow morning to help with the party. everyone would be coming over to their place for the get together since they’re house was much bigger.
once they get back to wayne’s, he’d already made dinner. they all eat, chatting, before they got ready for bed.
“goodnight my sweet girl.” eddie whispers
“goodnight, rockstar!”

Deliverance
Tumblr media
The woods were always eerily calm… but that could be because of the rumors in your town.
The rumors that one of the local woods were the home of an extremist Christian cult that kidnapped people who would go into their woods.
Of course growing up in the town, you and your friends would dare each other to go into the woods just like most of the kids and young adults did to the dismay of their parents and grandparents.
You and your friends would go into the woods, looking for the compound of the rumored cult only to find nothing… though one day, you and your friends came across something strange.
Well it was more like someone strange.
As you were playing around in the woods, you came across a boy who looked a bit younger than you.
You and your friends were around 10-11 while the boy looked like he could’ve been about 9 or 8 years old.
You stood together, walking close to the boy.
“Um hi.” Nina said, “are you lost?”
The boy stared at your group, a dullness in his eyes that honestly terrified you.
He didn’t look disheveled or anything. In fact, he was very well groomed but his silence and unreadable eyes… he was different from the other kids where just shy or quiet.
You all stopped in place, too scared to keep going forward.
Though you were scared, you didn’t like a small child being in the woods alone so gathering a bit of courage, you broke out of your pack and cautiously walked to the boy.
“Hey. Where is you’re mom and dad?” You asked him.
The boy didn’t answer and you walked closer to him.
“Are you lost?” You noticed how tensed his body was. “I’m not gonna hurt you. It’s just that you shouldn’t be here by yourself. You can get hurt. You can come with me and my friends and we help you find your mom and dad.” You gave him a small smile, offering your hand out for him to take.
A look of confusion broke onto the boy’s face.
“You’re not gonna hurt me? The leader tells me that the outside world will hurt me…” he finally spoke and his words came out in a tone like as if he was questioning something.
But his answer made you question what he just said.
“What? What does that mean?” And before the boy could answer a booming voice made everyone in the woods jump and before you could ask the boy what he meant, he ran off quickly into the opposite direction.
~~
You sighed as the warmth of the Starbucks hit your cold cheeks.
You had just moved back to your hometown, growing tired of city life and wanting to live a more slow paced life again though you knew that you will eventually return to the city at some point, though you didn’t know when that would be.
Your town has changed drastically, turning more into a little hipster city and as you made eye contact with Nina, you smiled widely as you made your way towards her.
“Hey!” She said excitedly, getting up to greet you with a big hug.
You hugged her back, enjoying the embrace. You haven’t seen her in years since moving to the city and it was nice to be in her presence again.
She let go, taking her seat and watched as you took off your coat.
“God… Ya know, even though I know how you look now, seeing you in person… you’ve gotten really handsome.”
Your cheeks became warm and you bashfully laughed as you took a seat.
“Thanks.” You rolled up your a bit sleeves before placing your elbows up on the table and putting your head in your hands. “So what’s up?”
Nina laughed and you two soon caught up.
You knew that Nina had taken over her family’s farm and she was always talking about her frustration at how her chickens would get stolen from time to time and it just so happened once again the night before you came.
“I don’t know what to do. It’s not an animal, I already learned that fast and every time I set up a camera to see who it could be, my camera always get destroyed or stolen.”
A grin creeped onto your face as you said, “maybe it’s the cult.” And Nina hit you, rolling her eyes.
“Don’t joke about that!” She huffed causing you to laugh.
“I’m sorry, I won’t.”
“There’s rumors going around that the newer members are now trying to blend in just to recruit people.”
“Really?” Your eyebrows raised.
“Yeah. Something about “saving” more people that way. I heard there’s a new leader too.” Nina took a sip of her latte and quickly the topic changed.
As you and Nina conversed, you couldn’t help but feel as though you were being watched.
Looking around the cafe, your eyes gradually landed on piercing eyes… eyes that felt familiar.
You didn’t listen to your brain that was screaming for you to turn around, no, you kept eye contact with the man and Nina noticed, her own gaze following yours.
“Do you know him?”
You frowned in confusion.
“I’m not sure…” and you turn your attention back onto Nina.
The man whose piercing gaze lingered onto you for a bit longer knew it was you though you weren’t the girl he had met.
The girl that opened up his mind. The girl that stole his heart.
Such a small insignificant interaction to you held such a huge religious significance to the man.
Of course he needed to have you, girl or not, that didn’t matter.
All that mattered was that you were back.
You were finally back and now he can finally make you his.
And all you had to do was accept him as your savior. As your messiah.

The Home We Built
It was unusual to log back into Sword Art Origins after all this time.
“I suppose it had only been a few days in the real world, but it was 2 years for me… this is gonna be tough…”. Kazuto hefted the AmuSphere over his head. He desperately missed his family and friends back here, but the feeling was off. The idea of being in a “home” without Ronye or Tiese or Alice or Liena… or Eugeo…
Alice had been able to receive a physical body, the rest were still waiting for them as suspended data. She was still at her home in the facility, visiting Kazuto and Sugu frequently, mainly for Kazuto, he was her anchor in this world after all. But Kazuto was still anxious to be alone again. He was used to the feeling of someone else beside him throughout everything.
He hadn’t slept alone in 2 years.
Regardless, Kikuoka had granted permission for the Artificial Fluctlights to join Kirito in other virtual worlds, and Kazuto had promised Eugeo to show him Aincrad. The place ‘Kirito’ was truly born. It was time to log in.
Kirito woke up in bed back on Floor 22, in him and Asuna’s bed. The rest of the party was most likely in Agil’s Bar or out questing on higher floors if they were playing. He needed to return to The Town of Beginnings to meet Eugeo. He trailed the quilt of the bed he laid in. A sigh met his lips. He wasn’t sure what exactly he had been feeling, but he knew guilt was the prevalent emotion. He had left behind his wife and daughters for 2 years. Tears met the corners of his eyes.
“How many times did Eugeo hold me when I thought of them- Asuna, Yui, Strea…”
He slowly got out of bed and patted the space where Asuna usually slept. He walked out of the house and grabbed a crystal to return to Floor 1.
“C-cor? I- I’m sorry I don’t know much about this world- I’m supposed to be meeting a friend here…”
Eugeo had barely taken a step in town when he was being accosted by someone in a large cloak.
“Oh? Need some info on ya buddy? I got all the info ya need if ya got the Cor-”
A devilish smirk met the woman’s face as she stared up at Eugeo.
“I-I think I will be fine. It is typical for Kirito to be slightly behind schedule…”
He turned to walk away from the girl, but she snatched his arm back and pulled him into facing her.
“WAIT- You said you know Kii-boy?”
Eugeo looked flustered.
“Ki-Kiiboy? Is that what the people of this world call Kirito?”
“Nyah. Here Kirito is Kirito. To some, he’s tha Black Swordsman. To others tha Beata. To me he’s jus Kii-boy. We were eachothas first friends here.”
She flashed a toothy smile to Eugeo, almost startled by the girl’s grin, looking more like some monster than a girl.
“Buuuuuuut- I’m surprised ya know Kii-boy. He’s neva been around guys much. And I dont rememba ya from seein him in real life.”
“O-oh. Me and Kirito grew up together in Rulid Village. He lost his memories and said that he had lived here…”
“Interestin’- well, he aint lyin. Kii-boy lived here for 2 years, and then he was able to kill the bastad that trapped us all in this castle. Butttttt we come back since it’s hard to let go of those memories. I know I dont wanna forget ‘em after all.”
The girl looked down, clearly reminiscing. Eugeo could see a streak of blonde hair tickle her face as she smiled fondly.
“My name’s Argo, I’ll give ya that info for free, since ya took care of my Kii-boy. Butcha can just call me The Rat”
“Oh! My name is Eugeo.”
“Nice meetin ya! A friend of Kii-boy is a frienda mine.”
Argo’s toothy smile still startled Eugeo as she beamed up at him.
“YO! Argo, Eugeo!”
A blur of black came in and tackled the cloaked girl and blonde boy in a hug.
“Ey- Kii-boy- Nyeheh- You’re not so affectionate usually- what’s gotten into dat airhead of yours?”
“Haven’t seen you in years. Hug now.”
Both Eugeo and Argo laughed at the boy’s brief explanation, still holding them tight to him. It took several moments before he pulled away, blushing.
“S-sorry about that…”
“It’s okay Kii-boy- butcha gotta pay me to not tell A-chan about dat hug with me-”
Kirito sighed and shook his head.
“You never change Argo…”
Eugeo looked between the two with confusion.
“A-chan? Whose that? And does Kirito not usually hug people?...”
“Jeez blondie, wait til we meet the whole gang here before ya go askin too many questions. They’re all at Agil’s. I’ll be ya guide.”
Argo practically bounced into the bar, giggling like a maniac. The rest of the crew looked on at her with exasperated confusion. She pounced into a seat beside Asuna.
“A-Chan! Ya got some competition! Kii-boy’s got a new blonde cutie friend-”
“Argo- I know you like teasing Kirito- I’m used to it now.”
“Nononono! Not me this time! They’re new-”
The girls at the table winced at the thought. Oh god- another girl to compete with. Agil just smirked as Klein beamed.
“Sweet! Another cute chick for the party!”
“Oh you’ll love ‘em Klein. Just ya type.”
Argo cackled in place as Asuna shook her head.
The group sat with baited breath as Kirito walked in with his new friend.
Who shockingly to the group- was not a girl.
Kirito and Eugeo walked hand-in-hand into Agil’s Bar, Eugeo doing his best to not simply cling to Kirito as he guided him in. Everyone did their best to pick their jaws up from the floor as Kirito waved to the rest of the group with his free hand.
“Hey guys! Sorry it’s been a minute…”
“Ki-ri-TO! You were almost killed and you had us worried sick! And you’re worried about being LATE?”
Liz shook herself out of her shock and ran over to yell at the boy.
“Heh. Nice to see you again Liz-”
Kirito broke his grip on Eugeo’s hand and embraced Liz and pet her head. The group looked on in a shock as Kirito hugged everyone at the table, Asuna, then Sinon, Leafa, Silica, Philia, even Klein and Agil.
“Awwww nothin for ya favorite Rat?”
Argo mock pouted at the boy.
“I hugged you when I logged in, don’t be greedy!”
The group was all blushing red, and Leafa shook her head wildly to try to rid her mind of all the thoughts that just came rushing in.
“I-I’m just not used to Kirito being that… Touchy…”
“Yeah seriously, Kirito seems to hate physical affection.”
Philia nodded along to Leafa’s assessment.
“R-Really? In my memory, Kirito has always been like this, even since we were kids…” Eugeo cocked his head to the side confused.
“Ah right! Everyone, this is my friend Eugeo. Eugeo, this is Asuna, Silica, Leafa, Sinon, Lisbeth, Klein, Agil, and Philia.”
Eugeo shyly waved.
“It’s a pleasure to meet you all-”
Kirito dragged Eugeo into a seat, sliding next to Asuna so that Kirito was flanked by her and Eugeo.
“Wait- what do you mean since you were kids?”
Sinon placed her drink down and sat her head in her hands.
“Me and Kirito grew up in Rulid Village together. One day he disappeared though, I only met him again two years ago now, but he seems to have lost his memory.”
“Wait. Two years ago Kirito would’ve still been trapped in Sword Art Online!-”
Liz pounded on the table, shaking everyone’s tea, threatening to break the cups.
“What? No, Kirito and I spent over two years travelling from Rulid to the capitol to train at the SwordCraft Academy.”
“I think we’re skipping over something here- Kirito wasn’t born in Rulid- I should know, as his sister and all-”
“I don’t remember Kirito having a sister- although I suppose after he left most of my memories of him faded away…”
Kirito cleared his throat.
“Hem- Sorry. Long story short, to make it simple for everyone. I was born in Rulid and knew Eugeo when we were very young. Some things happened, me and Leafa moved in together. Then I got trapped in Aincrad, and then after an accident found my way back to Eugeo.”
“I’m still unsure what you mean by spending two years with Eugeo-”
“Yeah, you were in the hospital for like a week, what happened?”
“Um. Basically, the machine I was in was a device designed to help rebuild my mental functions. In that time, I was in a place called Underworld where I met Eugeo again. That is about as much as I can tell you without issues from Kikuoka.”
“Alright since we’re not gonna get answers from you-”
Sinon looked towards Eugeo.
“What do you mean Kirito was ‘always like that’?”
“Oh! Kirito always hugged his friends in Underworld. Ronye, Tiese, Liena, he practically held onto me for dear life as he slept.”
Eugeo laughed, but Kirito’s eyes widened momentarily, before shooting daggers at the boy, not noticing Kirito’s mental attack.
“Wait, you slept together?”
Lisbeth dropped her teacup, with it shattering into glitter.
“Yes. During our trip from Rulid to the capital it was cheaper to rent rooms with one bed. And our room was small in the academy as we were not nobles.”
Out of the corner of his eye, Eugeo caught Kirito almost vibrating from shaking, now with a red flush to his face.
“Mmhmm- And who were these ‘Ronye, Tiese and Liena’ you mentioned?”
Asuna had a vicegrip on Kirito’s hand.
“Ah! Ronye and Tiese were Kirito and I’s pupils. We taught them how to sword fight. Kirito also was my teacher on the road prior to our time at the academy haha.”
Eugeo fondly recalled the memories and Kirito tried to maintain composure and add to the conversation.
“Yes, Ronye was my pupil and Tiese was Eugeo’s, although we mostly trained in a group of four. I’d say Eugeo was the better teacher though.”
“Kirito was quite soft as a teacher. I don’t believe he ever scolded any of us, and brought us all lunch.”
“Oh that’s quite sweet of you Kirito.”
Asuna released the grip on Kirito’s hand and gently pat it as an apology.
“And Liena?”
“Oh that was Kirito’s senpai- Kirito was her pupil, although they seemed to teach eachother a lot. Kirito already knew a lot of swordcraft, although different from what was traditional.”
“Yeah that sounds like Kirito. He fight’s as if every fight is his last, and he wants to put on a damn show.”
Sinon shook her head laughing.
“Hmm. I’m not sure. Practicing with Kirito- His swordmanship and battle is more elegant. Almost like a dance more than a brawl.”
“Interesting. I suppose he took more lessons from Asuna and Leafa.”
“Daddy! You’re back!”
A small girl clad in a white dress practically flung herself down the stairs of the Bar’s Inn and into Kirito’s arms. Kirito shot up out of his seat to catch her and spin her around in his arms.
“Yui!!!!! I missed you so much!”
Kirito embraced Yui into a tight hug, her feet dangling off the ground as he pulled her into his chest. Yui giggled. Another set of arms draped themselves around the pair.
“Hey Dad- Missed you too. Glad you’re doing okay.” “Strea! I missed you too!”
Kirito couldn’t hug the girl back, as he was pinned in her arms, but attempted to lean his head against hers.
“Um- Kirito who are these-”
Eugeo looked incredibly concerned at the display of affection.
“Oh! Right…”
Kirito bit his tongue, knowing this would be a rough conversation.
“These are Yui and Strea, they’re my daughters-”
“D-DAUGHTERS- But that- that means-”
“Adopted”
Strea added, saving Kirito the mental anguish. The cuddle pile broke apart.
“O-oh. I see. Is this why you were so sweet to Ronye and Tiese?” “Eh- Kinda? It helps to have some experience with that sort of relationship. Also I think I accidentally called Ronye Yui like a dozen times.”
“And I believe you once called Tiese Asuna.”
“You look at Asuna and tell me that they don’t look similar.”
“Hmmmm… You’re right- they could be sisters for sure.”
“Sooooooo- you Dad’s new boyfriend?”
Strea teased, flashing Kirito a smile of “Can’t save you every time”
“Yes” “NO!”
Eugeo and Kirito answered simultaneously.
“Kirito? Are we not friends?” “Nononononononono, Eugeo we are friends. Strea means boyfriend as in, like, romantic partner.”
“Oh-”
Eugeo flashed a bright red.
“Then also yes.”
Eugeo beamed out a pure smile, stunning everyone in the room.

A DEAL IN MATRIMONY
03. SUGGESTIBILITY
Chapter Summary: pretending to be in a relationship with Robert is hard enough, but pretending to be in love is harder, especially under peer pressure.
Word Count: 4.4k
Warnings: some “adult” language.
Index: Previous chapter. Next chapter. Masterlist.
Tumblr media
Saying hello to everyone at the party is like having a kid attached to your leg, as Robert sticks by your side like glue and asks you about fifty different questions each time he shakes another hand of a stranger.
It’s nostalgia mixed with frustration for every conversation, but you try to pass by everyone quickly, especially when they poke around your “relationship” with Robert.
Faking being a couple at home is more stressful than at the immigration office, what with everyone’s eyes on you so intently.
Then there’s your family, who keeps you in their sights no matter where you go in the room, which makes acting like a couple almost like a second job. It’s conversation after conversation with each person in attendance, some remarking on how pretty Robert’s eyes are before walking away.
Yet, he has his focuses on everything in the house, from the curtains to the furniture and the oak chandeliers, rather than the people, like he hasn’t been inside until right this moment.
“Why didn’t you tell me that you’re a descendant of the royal family?” He chirps beside you, still looking at the paintings, the dishware, and the tables.
The sarcasm isn’t appreciated, giving him a half grin.
“Well, how could I? We’ve only ever talked about you for the last three years.”
He shakes his head, leaning close to you so no one else can hear. “Stop bickering,”
“Stop leeching onto my arm,” you shove his hand off of you and he looks offended that you would even push him away like that as if you haven’t tugged him around before.
Robert presses his lips together, looking at you like a parent does to a defiant child. He quickly grabs your arm again, moving you to the side, gentler if anything but still as urgent.
“Alright, this has to stop. People need to think that we’re in love.”
There he goes again flinging around that word like it means nothing more than a showtime act. With all the pressure of what consequences may lie waiting for you in the future and how frustrating Robert is making this, it’s hard to remember that he’s been on his own for a long time and so the term ‘love’ doesn’t hold as much weight to him as it should.
“Hey, fine by me. I can play the role of the doting fiancée, no problem,” it’s a weightless comment, swinging around to tackle him. “Only for you, it’ll require that you stop snacking on the souls of the innocent.”
“If I knew you’d be this difficult, I would have found someone else to—”
“Blackmail?”
He sighs, seemingly giving up.
“When are you going to tell everyone that we’re engaged?”
Once again surprised that he remembers that part of the deal, like how he remembered your Gammie’s birthday, you straighten the collar of his coat, trying to look as if you aren’t tearing each other to pieces.
“I’ll pick the right moment.”
Robert gets cut off from asking another question, thank goodness, by a couple tapping you on the shoulder, almost making you jump. They smile widely and open their arms for a hug, which you give into once you realize who they are.
So many faces you haven’t seen since you were young and still living the Alaskan lifestyle, and now they’re all here to see how you’ve grown up with a distance toward that way of living.
“It’s so nice to see you back home,” the woman of the couple says, after introducing herself to Robert and shaking his hand. “I want to hear everything about your job.”
Her husband hums. “It must be so exciting looking over your own division.”
“Right,” you plaster on a fake smile. “Of course.”
But someone has other plans, cutting you off from saying anything more.
“Yes, I’m interested to know that myself,” comes a male voice from outside the circle, walking over from the table to where you all stand, forcing his way into the conversation.
As per usual, his presence gives you shivers.
“Dad,”
He flashes you a faded smile, quickly redirecting his attention.
“You must be Ronald.”
“Robert,” he corrects, shaking your father’s hand with a straightened spine, right back into business mode.
Your father keeps his gaze set on Robert, something authoritative and unsettling, although you don’t have too much worry since you know Robert’s dealt with men like this before. It’s simply the interaction that’s making your palms begin to sweat.
Having your boss meet your father isn’t exactly at the top of your list of things to do, let alone introducing your boss to your family as someone you’re going to marry. The words are too rough to say now, so you keep quiet.
“Why don’t you tell us all about being a director?” Your father speaks. “I’ve heard so many stories from my daughter regarding luncheons and kicking the occasional employee out of the building.”
You can see Robert stiffen beside you, turning slightly to give you a look. Meanwhile, your eyes are set like a target on your father, seconds away from striking.
What a great first impression he’s giving. Not that you expected more, anyway. You’ve learnt to keep the bar low with him.
“Director?” The woman asks, glancing at you. “But I thought you were looking over one part of the company, honey?”
Your dad beats you to the punch, waving the whiskey glass in his hand.
“Oh no, she’s just a secretary. Ronald here is the director of the company.”
“Robert,” he reiterates, then says something that surprises you, which forces your gaze to shift to him rather than the glare you had set on your father. “And your daughter isn’t my secretary, she’s my executive assistant. They’re two very different jobs.”
“Of course,” your dad takes a slow sip from his glass, then tilts it in his hand. “Well, I think I need a refill. If you’ll excuse me.”
Neither you nor Robert says a word when your dad walks away, leaving the couple to stand there a bit confused for a moment before they decide to move about the room as well.
The tension is always heavy with your dad around, like a blanket thrown over you, but he might as well have left it there for you to suffocate under.
“Here I thought my father was bad,” Robert says beside you, tilting his head to the side.
That’s not at all what you need to hear right now, especially from him. You manage enough self-control not to send a glare his way, but there’s an anger bubbling up inside of you that you need to let burn out. Or burn down, whichever happens first.
“Excuse me,” you mutter, walking around him to follow your dad into the other room.
When you’re within reaching distance, you grab him by the shoulder.
“What the hell was that?”
“What are you doing here with him?” He grumbles, shaking his head. “All I’ve ever heard about the guy is bad news. Now suddenly he’s your boyfriend?”
“Don’t do this, dad. We just got here,” you pinch the bridge of your nose. “I’m not in the mood for another fistfight.”
He shakes his head again, quicker this time. “What’s he going on about, executive assistant? I never figured my daughter was the type to use sex to get ahead.”
“That’s not what’s happening,” you almost choke on the insinuation alone. “He’s one of the most respected businessmen in the industry, I’ll have you know.”
“You’re sleeping your way to the top,” the last word comes out with a pop. “He’s your meal ticket and you brought him home to meet your mother.”
“No, he’s not my meal ticket, dad. He’s my fiancé.”
The words come out ready, sharp. Much smoother than you thought they would be.
It clearly knocks your dad back a rank of the ladder, stilling at his place. The ice cubes in his glass clink when he doesn’t hold it upright, being the only sound for a moment.
“What did you say?”
“You heard me,” the words are burning. “We’re getting married.”
Walking around him, you don’t wait for a response. The last thing you want is another argument about your taste in men, or how he hadn’t a say in this so it needs to end here. Maybe it should. Maybe back at the office, it should have ended, but it didn’t. You agreed to this. You’re not letting your dad dictate another part of your life, even if by the end of this you’ll be a divorcee.
Even if it’s all a lie.
You’re practically stomping back into the open room where you and Robert had been earlier, expecting to find him there. He’s nowhere to be seen and, frankly, you can’t care at this point. You’re growing impatient for the balloon to burst and your dad is no help in that.
Feeling all of it, the anger and the nerves, bubbling to the surface, you find that it comes out in the form of words that you don’t realize you’re saying until you say it.
“Everyone, can I please have your attention,” you shout, watching as everyone turns to face you.
There’s a thumping in your chest due to the words you’re about to say, but you breathe it into nothing. You just need this weight off of your chest.
“I have a very important announcement to make…”
A few more words and this lie will become solid. Everyone will know. Not just your family, like you had thought it would be, but now almost everyone from your childhood—all of your friends, your neighbours, and some of your teachers, too.
What are they going to think? What are they going to say? Will they see straight through you the moment the words leave your lips? It’s ridiculous that you’ve even let this go this far, but you’re here now. Time to set it in stone, even without him by your side.
“Robert and I are getting married.”
The balloon pops and everyone goes quiet.
Your mother’s face is directly in your viewpoint, where she stands by the fireplace, gaping at you. Your Gammie, on the couch, looks back and forth between you two, like she hadn’t heard you correctly. Seeing their faces, you realize you could have said it more delicately.
It takes a moment but applause kicks to life, not as hesitant as when it started awkwardly by a couple of people.
“Pumpkin?” You call out, knowing that if Robert didn’t hear the announcement then he’ll hear the pet name you’ve been teasing him with.
As you expected, his head pokes out around the corner of one archway, looking confused. Strangely, it gives you a short smile.
“There it is. Come here, hon.”
The first part is said more so under your breath, but you are relieved to see him. With this kind of crowd, it would be easy to slip away.
The applause builds again when he makes his way over to you, a little slowly, though he wears a smile. As soon as he reaches you, his eyes grow wide for only you to see, but you just smile through your teeth and he goes back to acting happy.
There’s a shout from the bar about opening a bottle of champagne, and everyone hoots in agreement, finally settling into a more assuring attitude.
The hype is starting to calm down as everyone is going to get themselves a glass of bubbly and you’re ready for one as well. Before you can move, Robert swiftly snakes an arm around your waist, pulling you close to his side and feigning affection with so many eyes in the room.
“This is your idea of the right time to tell everyone that we’re engaged?”
His touch takes you by surprise; just his arm around you makes heat rise to your cheeks, and you’re trying to look anywhere else but at him.
“It was brilliant timing,” he says, just for fun, you think.
It turns out that the bubbly makes its way to you, as two glasses are suddenly being handed to you and Robert by one person, excited enough to congratulate you both.
Fortunately, Robert takes the glass with the arm that was around you, saving you from having to stand there in his hold any longer. Taking the remaining glass, you let out a breath that you hadn’t realized you had been holding.
When you go to take a sip, someone pats your shoulder, bumping you enough to almost have you choking on the drink. When you turn around, though, all annoyance goes straight out of the window.
“Eames!”
It almost comes out a little too loudly, bubbling out of you as if his name were the champagne.
“Hello, stranger,” he laughs, wrapping you up in a tight hug. “How are you, darling?”
“Great, I’m doing great. How are you?”
“Ah, the usual. Here and there,” it’s been too long since you’ve heard his voice, something so pleasant to your ears. “Gammie told me you were coming down for the weekend.”
“I’m surprised I could, to be honest.”
“Why’s that?”
“Oh, you know. My boss is a pain in the—”
Crap. He’s standing right by you.
“Look at us, we’re being completely rude,” Eames says, turning to face the man you completely forgot was supposed to be your fiancé for the weekend.
“Right,” you shake your head, ignoring the way Robert watches you two, and introduce them both. “This is my ex—well, uh, he’s—”
“I’m her brother-in-law,” he finishes for you, shaking Robert’s hand.
“Oh,” Robert voices, not hiding the way he finds that interesting. “And is your wife here with you?”
You give Robert a side-eye, warning him not to press into your family life, but he remains looking at Eames, even though you know he sees you in the corner of his eye.
“No, not right now,” Eames says. “But she’s planning for later in the day.”
“Of course,” you can’t help it sounding exhausted, though you try to hide it.
“Well, look. Congratulations to you both,” Eames claps his hands together. “I hope I didn’t miss the story.”
“Story?” Both you and Robert ask, looking at each other as if the other one would know.
“Of how this lad proposed,” he smacks Robert on the chest, laughing.
It’s a forceful smack, clearly, from how Robert almost knocks his drink over and begins to rub at the tender area with his fingers.
“Oh,” coos Gammie’s voice, still sitting on the couch but within ear’s distance. “How a man proposes tells a lot about his character.”
Your mother, who’s come to sit beside her, nods her head, raising her glass.
“Yes, please. I’d love to hear the story. Would you tell us, Robert?”
Eames looks like a content child who’s just won a prize, sitting himself on the arm of the couch and squeezing Gammie’s hand. Everyone else within earshot encourages Robert to tell the story, spurring him on with a few glasses clinking. You’re just hoping that he’s got something in that thick head of his to run with.
“I’d love to, but your little pumpkin here,” he shakes you a bit by the arms, smiling over at your family on the couch. “She loves to tell the story. So, I think we should sit back and let her have her fun.”
He’s already taking a seat next to the couch, leaving you standing in front of everyone with their attention set on you. So much for having something to run with. Actually, it’s more like he pushed you into the spotlight and made a mad escape.
“Wow,” you breathe out, playing it off as a chuckle, and press your hand into Robert’s shoulder from where he sits. “Where to begin…”
How can it be that neither you nor Robert ever considered this? Sure, let’s run through twenty questions, and understand each other’s sleeping habits and favourite colour, but not run over the story of how he proposed.
Would it be too ridiculous to go with the truth, telling everyone that you had forced him down to his knee on New York pavement?
“Well, the first thing you should all know is that Robert here is a sentimentalist,” you start, pursing your bottom lip with a nod. “He really is. It was coming up to our first anniversary and he had a plan, but I already knew,”
A few chuckles come from here and there, especially from Eames. The sound has Robert turning in his seat, but his attention quickly draws back to you as you continue, ready to have some fun since he’s given you all of the cards, though not intentionally, but you’re willing to play.
“I also knew how scared he was, like a little mouse,” you squeeze his shoulder when you say it, earning a groan from him. “So I started leaving him notes; little clues to let him know how I felt, seeing as he’s such a bashful romantic—”
“Actually, I don’t think that’s how it happened,” Robert cuts you off, wiggling under your hand.
“No?” It's an innocent smile for show, but playful to him.
“No. Because you, pumpkin, are about as subtle as a gun,”
More laughter from the crowd at what he says, happy with himself at how you go quiet from the pet name the two of you are serving to each other like a game of tennis.
“She had in mind one thing, but I had something up my sleeve. I had bought this gift—”
“Oh yes, the scrapbook!” You exclaim, clapping your hands together, taking your turn. “The heart-shaped book with all of these printed photos of himself stuck on each page. It was so adorable.”
You watch as some women nod affectionately, a hand on their heart, whilst others seem to give their husbands a nudge in the ribs.
“But what was even more adorable is that when I opened the book, music started playing. He had recorded himself singing, and all this glitter sprinkled out of the book. Hand-cut confetti and all.”
“But no question,” Robert says, eyeing you. “No proposal under all of that garbage. No,” he turns to look at the crowd, your family especially. “On that page was written a date and a time, and a message to meet me at my apartment. A masculine gesture,”
“But so sensitive,” you wave at everyone, drawing their attention to you. “Because when I got there, he was waiting for me—”
“Standing—”
“Kneeling, on a bed of rose petals. Holding back soft, boyish sobs, but eventually, he caught his breath and he said—”
“Will you marry me, and she said yes. That’s the end of the story.”
It ends so abruptly, with him cutting you off like that, and everyone in the room is too stunned to say anything for a moment, some nodding their heads and others looking confused. Yet, you stand there with your eyes on Robert and his on you, determined to hold onto the pretend rope in your mental game of Tug of War.
“That’s quite a story,” your mother pipes up, a contemplative smile on her face.
“Robert,” Gammie says, reaching over Eames to grab Robert by the sleeve of his coat. “You’re so thoughtful.”
He smiles bashfully at that, patting Gammie’s hand almost in a shooing motion. Eames laughs beside him, smacking his back and almost toppling Robert over once more.
“How delightful,” he smiles widely. “You’ve found yourself quite the man, darling.”
Robert makes quick to stand up at that, walking the way to stand beside you, already having a telepathic battle with you about the whole ordeal.
Though, the clatter of a spoon against glass grabs your attention.
“Let’s see a kiss from you two lovebirds, hey?” Says someone in the crowd.
Everyone hums in agreement, some cheering, and you want to kick the man who said it. Kiss Robert? You’d rather make out with a blowfish than kiss him. He’s your boss. It’s way too weird a thought to even consider and you don’t have it in you to look in his direction.
“No, come on,” you awkwardly chuckle, shaking your head at everyone.
“Just one kiss, someone calls from the back of the room, and your mother raises her glass in agreement.
A chorus of “kiss her” starts flaring up, urging you both to give in to their tease. They might as well sing out the kissing song from kindergarten, it’s so embarrassing.
Eventually, you raise both hands in defeat, feeling the heat rising to your cheeks again with each cheer.
“Okay, everyone. Alright,” you say, finally turning toward Robert who’s looking at you with eyes not as wide as you were expecting.
He stands there waiting, as does everyone else in the room. You can’t even hear the cheers anymore, already being blocked out by how loudly you can hear your heart ringing in your ears.
Carefully, you take one step forward, placing your hand on Robert’s shoulder. Then you lean in and kiss his cheek, pulling away just as fast.
“There,” you mutter, turning back toward the room.
You’re greeted by a collective groan, some frustrated hands rising in the air.
“Kiss him on the mouth!” Shouts someone.
The chorus starts up again and you’re spinning toward Robert who gulps at the chaotic attention.
It’s just one kiss, you try to reason with yourself. You’ve had kisses before. It’s simple. It’s quick. It’s nothing. It’s Robert who takes the first step to you, and it sends another flutter in your chest that scares you so much that you grab at his coat and quickly press your lips to his, scrunching your eyes shut, then bouncing back like you had been shocked.
“What was that?” A person calls, and you’re ready to swing a chair in their direction.
So it was a preschool kiss, so what? All of the commotion and simply just the feeling of Robert’s lips is having you blush furiously, whether it’s visible or not. Why do they have to keep badgering you like this?
“Come on, guys,” you whine, not caring if it sounds childish.
After all, they were acting like children to be demanding you kiss a boy like this.
But not just a boy, a man. Robert Fischer is the man they want you to kiss, and strangely, you don’t know where you stand with that, not now. The only thing that’s assuring you that this isn’t going to go straight to his head is how he waits there for you—waiting on you to make a move, whether that be in his direction or straight out of the door.
Maybe. If he’s standing by for you, then maybe it won’t be so bad.
“Give her a good one,” Gammie smirks, winking over at Robert.
He smiles at that and it’s not synthetic. You’ve seen his fake smiles before and that is nothing like them. Was that then, perhaps, a genuine smile? When this is all over, you fear that might be the strangest thing to come of this weekend, and your Gammie is the one to thank for that.
So, you surrender.
“Let’s just get it over with,” you whisper to him, and that gives him enough permission to take a step forward.
His hand reaches for your waist, pulling you close to him almost torturously slowly. The champagne is smelt on his breath and you wonder if you’ll taste it on his lips, too. Your heart is racing, but it blocks out the noise. That gives you the courage enough to lean forward, your nose brushing against his.
It’s only a second that you hesitate and then you push forward through the gap, meeting Robert in a kiss.
His lips are soft and gentle, not pushy in the slightest, or rough like you had, for one reason or another, assumed they would be. He simply presses against you, a hum rumbling in his throat when his eyes close shut—a sound that makes your heart do the macarena in your chest—and your eyes follow suit, shutting closed almost blissfully.
A tingle sparks through you when his lips move against yours for more and you make a quiet noise as well as he had, something you can’t hold back, feeling his fingers softly glide up your back.
With a hand resting on his shoulder, you almost want to pull him in even closer, but then you remember why you’re even kissing in the first place and so does he, apparently, as you both pull away at the same time, his hand immediately leaving its place on your back to hang at his side, staring at each other with eyes that say, that wasn’t that bad at all.
Just the thought of it alone has you both facing forward, too afraid to look each other in the eye now after that. Applause snaps your senses back to reality, looking over the room at all the happy faces, the two of which are your mother and Gammie, but you don’t spare a second in Eames’ direction, far too embarrassed now at how long you let Robert kiss you and, startlingly, at how much you liked it; now knowing that those lips of his are anything but virginal.
Though it seems that it’s Gammie jumping up from the couch that brings Robert back down to earth, as he raises a hand in protest when she reaches forward for a hug. He’s not lucky this time to escape it, as she yanks both him and you over to her to sandwich herself between you both, hollering about how happy she is.
It’s awkward to be put so close to Robert again, but neither of you two gives the other any attention. In fact, your hands are as far away from each other as possible, with Gammie in the middle. She leans back an inch to grab Robert’s face with both hands, tilting his cheek so that she can plant two excited kisses against it.
He squirms in his spot, slightly bent to accommodate her height, his knuckles turning white as he clutches them at his side. When your Gammie pulls back, moving this time toward you to give you the same treatment, you watch as Robert wipes the kiss stains off of his cheek with a disgusted look on his face.
Please, let you be the only one who notices that.
Someone in the room calls out for another bottle of champagne, and if you’re not careful, you’re going to drink the entire thing down to the last bubble. But you doubt that would do you any good, as the taste will just remind you of Robert’s lips.

Spencer/hotchreid and 32 :)
-love from dear little rattie xxxxxx
I know you chose the angstiest prompt you could see, so here, have some angst! <3
32 - Hugging a pillow because you wish it were someone else.
Small tw for mentions of episode-related non consensual drug use.
He’s taken to the East Georgia Regional Medical Center.
He knows, logically, that he couldn’t not be really; not after what he’s been through.
But that doesn’t stop him from feeling overwhelmed and anxious at the mere thought of the tests that will have to be run, the doctors and nurses who will be prodding him with hands and questions, the narcotics that will show up in his urine test that he will no doubt have to provide on arrival.
The positive result shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone; he’s sure the team have seen the track marks on his arms by now. Not to mention the fact that he knows a good portion of the time he was high was live streamed to them.
Getting to the hospital and being triaged seems to pass in a blur, and Spencer half wonders if he’s still high, if the effects of the drugs haven’t worn off as quickly as they had done after the previous doses that Tobias gave him. Even so, he’s managing fairly well right up until the moment the nurse comes in to kick Hotch and JJ out.
“He needs rest, and we’ll need to fit a catheter, which as I’m sure you can imagine is a private procedure,” the nurse tells Hotch, not fazed at all by the way he’s glaring at her, arms folded across his chest.
Her tone of voice clearly indicates that she’s used to friends and family digging their heels in and refusing to leave, and while Spencer is sure for most people, the thought of having their boss witness the procedure of getting fitted with a catheter is the stuff of nightmares, right now the opposite seems infinitely worse.
“No, no it’s- it’s okay, Hotch can stay,” he stammers, but as soon as the nurse directs her gaze towards him he knows speaking was pointless. She’s not going to let anyone in the room who isn’t a medical professional, no matter what he or Hotch do or say.
“This is ridiculous. He should be allowed to request that someone stays with him during the procedure if that’s what he wants. Do you have any idea what he’s just been through?” Hotch is saying, seemingly oblivious to the fact that Spencer’s already resigned himself to the fate of having to endure this process alone.
“I’m sorry, sir, but it’s protocol. I’ll have to ask you to step outside now,” the nurse says, extending an arm to guide Hotch out of the room, away from the place he’s needed most of all, and Spencer can’t bear to watch.
He knows he should feel as though the worst is behind him, and it is, really, but the fact that he’s now going to have to face the next few moments entirely alone apart from the doctor and nurse performing the procedure feels too much to cope with.
The only thing that has kept him going the last few days, while he was held at the mercy of Hankel’s multiple personalities, was the thought of his mom, his team and Hotch.
The feeling of Hotch’s hands on his as he’d helped him stand from the side of Tobias’s body, the feeling of Hotch’s arms wrapped tightly around his body when he’d practically flung himself into the older man’s grasp… he wants nothing more than to feel those arms around him again right now.
But instead, Hotch has been banished to the waiting room, and Spencer’s left with nothing but the doctor and nurse. They’re nice enough, and they take their time explaining what’s going to happen to him, which he appreciates, but they’re still strangers and the only person he wants right now is Hotch.
Despite all the explanations, the feeling of unfamiliar hands touching him after being at the hands of Hankel, especially when they’re touching places where even he doesn’t touch himself often has panic rising in his chest, and in a desperate attempt not to give into the anxiety, Spencer grabs hold of one of the pillows from under his head, clutching it against his chest.
“We’re nearly done, Dr. Reid. Just keep taking deep breaths,” the nurse says kindly, and although Spencer’s grateful that they’re being so kind, all he can focus on is the pressure of the pillow against his chest. If he closes his eyes tightly enough he can almost imagine it’s Hotch’s body; that same strong body that had held him so tightly in the graveyard, the arms that had encircled his back and held him close. It’s not as good as the real thing, no where near in fact, but it works, and by the time the doctor has finished, Spencer no longer feels on the verge of a panic attack. He’s not sure he’s ever been more grateful to see Hotch’s face in the doorway when he’s allowed back into the room, though.

German Vikings Con🫶🏼
I wasn’t going to post these here because I don’t like how I look but I just love these pictures too much🥹❤️ Not only I was lucky enough to see Alex again, but I also met Jordan and he was the sweetest🥰
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I first met Jordan for his autograph. I took my favourite pic of Ubbe so he could sign it and he was so sweet and nice to me! His smile was amazing😭 he asked me if he’d see me again and I said yes, so when I came to his photo op he was like “hello love! I was missing you” and I nearly cried (hence my face in the pic, because he hugged me and I was freaking out). I saw him a few times during the convention, and he was always smiling and being absolutely perfect and I just love him even more now❤️
(I’ll leave this pic here even though the quality is terrible because I want you guys to appreciate his smile🥲)
Tumblr media
Alex was, as always, the main character of the story of my life. He recognised me (the memory that man has) and he gave me an amazing hug during the photo op. He always had a smile for me🫶🏼 the pic with him is absolutely perfect even though my face kind of ruins it but I don’t really care! During the Meet&Greet he was so close and open with us! And he talks a lot🥹 I never thought I’d meet someone that talks as much as I do, so it’s very nice. He described himself as a siberian husky and I can’t agree more with that😭❤️ I had some gifts for him for the autograph, so I couldn’t talk that much with him bc I had some autographs for other people :( but that’s okay because I’m seeing him again very soon🫶🏼 he greeted me with a “hey gorgeous” and a soft smile, he hugged me and I made him laugh, which is like the biggest accomplishment of my entire life. He was a delight, and I can’t wait to see him again🥰
I also had the chance to talk to Alexander. He was also very nice even though we all could see he was a bit tired (he spent days giving concerts around Germany🥺). When I thanked him for coming, he gave me the biggest smile and thanked me. He’s amazing, I’ve seen him in many projects besides Vikings since I was little so it was a dream getting to talk to him!
I saw Ida too! She’s the sweetest, and so cute🥺 also Ragga, who is even more beautiful in person! And Jasper, who was very nice to me even though we didn’t have much time! I would have loved to interact with more of the guests, especially John Kavanagh because both my mum and I are huge fans of his work, but unfortunately there wasn’t much time and I had a tight budget😅
It was an exhausting but amazing day. I also got to meet people I’ve been taking to for years and that became friends to me and that was fantastic too! I loved spending an entire day surrounded by people that love the same things I do. It’s like therapy❤️ I loved every single minute of it, even the stressful parts😂 they’re always worth it.
Next week I’ll travel to Paris to see Alex again and to finally meet my beloved Marco🫶🏼 I can’t even explain how thankful and excited I am when I think about it. The convention is one day before my birthday so I also get to spend my birthday in Paris with my family (I have family in France I haven’t seen in a while bc of the pandemic💔). It’s perfect🫶🏼
If you’ve read all of this, thank you❤️ I truly hope every single person in this fandom has the chance to enjoy days like this one. We deserve it🥰 and it helps to cope with reality when life becomes too much💖
