I actually wanted to post this earlier, but I wasn’t sure if I should since I focus more on sun and moon stuff but I think I can make this pass. I’m really proud of this so I want to show people!

Controlling. Thinks he is not capable of doing anything wrong. And maybe it’s just me, but yeah Malicos kinda gives off pedo vibes to me. (He wears no shirt and says to Cal “Join my family”? Mom come pick me up, I’m scared!)

Hey so you guys remember that post I made about the Lor Starcutter in the Strawberry Shortcake movie?

Well I’ve found a couple more ties to strengthen the connection,

First off:

this is goddamn Halcandra. I’m not kidding they take the Lor knockoff to fix something that’s going on there or something.  It’s actually called the LAND OF DREAMS btw, not very important info.

so yeah, it’s now been confirmed that the Strawberry Shortcake animators are in fact Kirby fans.

apparently there’s TWO breaking bad musicals?????? there’s “walter white and the amazing blue crystal meth” which came out in 2013. but there’s ALSO “say my name,” which is a more polished production that was put on in 2018. “say my name” has a full soundtrack available on spotify, but there is no recording of the full show. which is tragic. i think there should be as many breaking bad musicals as possible

I like how Washington and Hamilton’s relationship was portrayed in this miniseries.

Washington was clearly impressed by Hamilton’s skill and “gall” as they put it. He clearly favored Hamilton (although Lafayette was the real favorite) and the father-son relationship really felt one sided. With George calling him ‘Alex’ while Alexander trying to keep a professional distance between them while also receiving the benefits of the favoritism.

Until, of course, John Laurens’ death.

Maybe I am reading too much in between the lines, but after Laurens’ death, there is a shift in their relationship. It’s more tense. Alexander seems more on edge and so does George.

My heart melted at the Tavern scene towards the end. George hugged Alexander and it was so tender. It was like George’s love and care for him grew after losing another member of their “Military Family”. His life became even more precious to him. And Alexander? Learning to accept this familial love after being starved of it throughout his childhood.

Washington 1984 Miniseries hits the nail on the head with the found family trope.

Can I just say that I love your blog title rn. I realize it’s a reference to the song of the week, but it’s also just genuinely the energy I strive for in life 💜

This put the biggest smile on my face, I swear to god. THANK YOU ANON!!! I like to think I put a lot of thought into my songs of the week as well as the lyrics I choose for the blog title. I’ve really been trying to focus on the positivity in my life rather than the negativity in the world. Even though I’m not the most sun-shiny person out there, the level of hate and the lack of empathy I see from people turns my stomach a small bit. I don’t know. Maybe I’m just young and dumb and I let my empathy get the best of me. I honestly don’t care. I just wanna enjoy life before I’m old and, to circle back around to the SOTW, bitter…
