I am getting rid of one trigger of paranoia after the other at this rate, but every relief comes at the cost "it just just as bad as you believed, but actually way worse than you believed, but also dumber than you believed". The only way to deal with it is to open to the pain: guilt, doubts and secret obsession with one person and pain and confusion with the other two. But I think at this rate if I ever jump into it, for one reason or another, and hear actual human language instead of confirmation of my worst thoughts with a touch of incomprehensible detachment and condescending for no good reason... I think I will die lol.

The good thing is that once I see what's inside the "darkness" I can't unsee it, so something actually heals inside. The bad thing is that I keep getting confirmations that I should not seek any treatment for my paranoia because so far it hasn't failed me even once. I make right actions at the right times and even when I do something wrong turns out that even this mistake was right. What is the point of trying to deinstall it, if it lets me uncover exactly what needed to be uncovered?

Like.. what is the point? Whatever mistakes my mental illnesses or intellectual impairments led me to so far were crucial? Misread something and finally see how it is. Have a panic based outburst and uncover someone's true two-faced and cruel nature. ....harshly react at someone's request on who to interact with and trigger a chain of events that led to exposure of hypocritical conformists, one raging ableist and one stalker fandom bully. The true horror is not the 'whispers' in my lowered sanity periods, the true horror is knowing that had my mental state been even a bit better I risked being friends with so many genuinely not worthy people. A doomed parallel timeline full of lies and fakeness was only a better grip away. Yet for past three years I do nothing but find and explode the hidden landmines. Makes it ironic that they all keep telling me that they hope I "get better". I know it is just a form of being polite and they never really mean it, but it feels like something behind them does. Because if I did get better, I'd never open it, or hear the ticking. It is different, what I do on accident, from self-fulfilling prophesy thing. But when there is no way to read thoughts or predict future, having sense of making right mistakes at the right time is the closest to "blessing" I have. I am safe from everyone except the strongest, the kindest, the most lucid friends after all, who else can say that? All I have to do is to....... keep being me?

But this means that healing would make things worse. I can't deinstall it, even if it is so heavy that it doesn't allow other programs to run better or to even be installed. It is painful and costly. It lags on my true friends sometimes. But it is the best thing I have.

If we DO ever get a Good Omens season 3 (and fingers crossed we will) then using the Second Coming as the narrative device to facilitate the final culmination of Good Omens' ideology and message is brilliant, actually.

Because the Second Coming IS NOT another Adam situation. And, contrary to the misconceptions I've seen, It IS NOT about Jesus being born again as a baby, etc, etc.

THE SECOND COMING. QUITE LITERALLY refers to THE LAST JUDGMENT.

As in. The SAME Last Judgment Michelangelo painted on the walls of the Sistine Chapel. As in - THE JUDGMENT of the Living and the Dead. THE LAST, FINAL, ETERNAL JUDGMENT.

It's the WHOLE thing Armageddon was leading towards. Book of Revelation speedrun: the world ends, everyone dies, and then they get resurrected again to be judged by JESUS himself. He will flick through the Book of Life (WINK WINK WINK DO YOU SEE HOW LOUDLY I'M WINKING AT YOU???), and if your name is there he will go "oh nice you deserve eternal paradise! :D" and if your name is ERASED from the Book of Life he will go "oh no, sorry, you go to the lake of fire for eternity now D:" (except apparently in Good Omens lore it'd just DOOM YOU TO NON-EXISTENCE FOREVER???)

And if you THINK about it, The Last Judgment is the ultimate manifestation of moral absolutism. No shades of gray, no chances. Just BLACK, and WHITE. Never mind that you're like Wee Morag and Elspeth, who are forced to do "bad" things because of circumstances. It's either you pass Judgment Day, or you burn (or disappear forever.) And the way THINGS are going in the Good Omens universe? I don't think there's ANYONE "good" enough to be "saved." Not Crowley, not Aziraphale. Hell, not even the Archangels themselves.

So it provides a PERFECT opportunity for Aziraphale and Crowley to UPEND that SYSTEM entirely.

I think that's what Crowley and Aziraphale would do in s3: establish a new kind of system in which angels and demons have free will to determine the right (or wrong) choice.

Giving them the APPLE, so to speak.

And then they'll go off to retire in a cottage, together at last.

On some level I understand the rejection or outright denial of V2's death: it was jarring and brutal, especially for a character who, at least in laws of traditional video game rivals and the rule of thirds, seemed like it'd stick around for longer. This said, inferring from in-game lore as well as dev statements, I believe V2's death, tragic that it is, is not unwarranted; and that it is commonly pigeonholed into a characterization it does not fit into due to its assumed role within the game.

This is long, so it's going under the cut.

Considering its name, it's easy to assume V2 is a new and improved version of its predecessor; but it is more heavily implied that it's simply a version of V1 with thicker plating, and nothing more. [1] V2 was an attempt at salvaging V1's design after war became irrelevant, to capitalize on the resources wasted on a highly advanced war machine by rebranding it as an adaptable worker, for security and (theoretically) other peacetime activities (...not an innuendo). This was a failure; there's no reason to invest in something so refined when a handful of lesser machines could do the same job [2].

If V2 is contextualized within its backstory, it makes a lot more sense why it ate shit so quickly. It is, out of any in-game machine so far, one of the least suited for survival in Hell. Sentries and Streetcleaners were created for war. Swordsmachine(s) and Mindflayers are scrapheads, constantly adapting to create (and protect) their perfect, lethal body. [3] If anything, it's on the same level as a Drone, able to defend itself in a limited capacity, but not intentionally programmed or built for combat. Faced with V1, something built for perfect, swift destruction, a machine made for peace would stand even less of a chance than normal, even with an equal level of mobility and build.

V2 is also doomed, in a very literal sense, by the narrative. In a meta sense, it does not matter to the game story whatsoever [4]. V1 is the butterfly whose wing flaps set Gabriel's story in motion, but V2 has no such connection to his story, and is thus irrelevant. Even its lore entry is overshadowed by information about V1/its connection to V1. A third fight, as well, was never in the running, not necessarily due to anything in the game lore, but because its first and second encounters are all it needs: a third rematch would be repetitive and messy [5]. The reason for its extremely violent death sequence is to ensure there was no question as to its fate [6].

In regards to its personality; it is oft-headcanoned as loud, irritable, and competitive, but this characterization is more likely due to its color as well as its assumed role as a "rival" to V1; rather than based upon its in-game actions. Although its initial intentions are up to interpretation [7], comparing its actions and mechanics to other enemies fully rationalizes its anger. Although it's fairly easy to enrage in-fight, the criteria for its enrage state is much more specific than other enemies, and it's quite easy to not trigger it at all. Cerberi will enrage after one of its kind dies, Malicious Faces and Mindflayers after a certain amount of damage has been dealt (on Violent). Most notably, as the only other character with a rematch, Gabriel begins his second fight enraged after his first defeat [3], which can imply by extension that even though V2 is taking its second fight more seriously [8], it is still not outwardly angry. Its enrage state is only triggered when its patience is depleted (the player avoids it for too long), or in its second fight when it has been punched with the Knuckleblaster. These can be interpreted as indicators that V2 likes it when the fight is "fair": when it's not being avoided and picked at from a distance, or being hit with its own arm; which is frankly pretty fucking mean. A side note: Returning to its creation, it can also potentially be inferred that V2 was intentionally programmed with a rational, controlled, and even marketable personality, easily suppressed or overwritten for ease of use.

In another game, or if V1 was the protagonist, perhaps V2 would not be dead. Instead, V2 is doomed by its creators, both in-game and in reality. It mirrors V1 in action and Gabriel in mind, but unlike them, it has no place in this story beyond a truly fantastic duo of fights. Although its story has any number of potential rewritings or epilogues [9], its doom was always intended. It's easy to mourn lost potential, and its end is intensely tragic; but I believe it is a tragedy that meshes nicely with the rest of the game's story. V2 is dead, and not a second too soon.

the elders' den

i had SO MUCH FUN decorating this den that i spent 10 hours and 40 minutes doing it. oh my god. there are so many tiny details <3

the elders' den is full of little knick-knacks and trinkets that the elders have gathered over the years... animal bones, pretty rocks, shark teeth, shells- nothing is safe from being hoarded in the elders' den! not even plastic cups!!

also, salttuft! he won't have any speaking roles for a while, but he's there! i thought it'd be the perfect time to put some of his equipment on display.

around his body are two straps, each equipped with hooks, which are attachment points for his pack. since his equipment is heavier than say, a healers', AND he has to go from den-to-den often, having a sturdy pack is important! the pack has a draw-string instead of buttons.

inside his pack we can see two pieces of tinder fungus. this is what the soot-pelts use as their fire start!

on the ground beside him are another piece of tinder fungus, as well as a piece of flint.

and of course, the glove! the soot-pelts' glove has two uses: protecting the paw (of course) AND starting the fire. around the palm of it, there is a C-shaped piece of steel, which the soot-pelt can easily use to strike the flint. below the steel is a metal piece that acts as a "thumb". this way, they can grasp wood between their toes and the faux-thumb! this makes it easier for them to move wood around.

two more introduced characters: puffindive and stormtail!

puffindive is the mother of orcastar, the mate of salttuft (they love each other SO MUCH), and the grandmother of otterfern, sealnose, and coastfur!

stormtail is an ex-kittypet, he's based off of @iwannaholdyoulikeyouremine 's deceased cat, Cooper!

Most of what he knows he's learned from demons who spend more time in that world than he does, or from visiting sorcerers or witches. He hardly had the time to celebrate human world holidays until he met you, but he won't let this opportunity go to waste.

Celebrating the holidays with Diavolo, who eagerly listens when you tell him about how you used to celebrate the holiday season before coming to the Devildom. He's enchanted by the way your face lights up when you share fond memories with him, all the activities and traditions you enjoy, and he wants to be the one to put that same smile on your face too.

If he had it his way, the castle would be covered in the colourful lights and ornaments that you're familiar with. It's only when the embers start to fade and the room grows cool does he wake, smiling at you fast asleep and curled up against him, and he carefully picks you up and tucks you into bed.

There's an overstuffed stocking at the foot of the bed for you, and a mountain of presents near the lavishly-decorated tree in the corner of the room. You'd been invited to the QSMP a few months ago, joining with Tubbo, Niki, and some other content creators you didn't know. You were a fairly small streamer, having a few thousand Twitch followers and a couple hundred subs.

Quackity decided to allow you on the server because some of the eggs were begging him to add you because Charlie Slimecicle had made you canon in lore. They wanted to meet the God by the name of Y/n terribly, so he sighed and reached out to you asap. He'd been planning the prison lore and had been working hard, and did a lot of research on you.

You'd been friends with Tubbo and Niki for a long while, and streamed with them here and now. You often did trio streams on Minecraft or did method acting streams for the laughs. Once they heard Alex might let you in to the SMP with them, they were jumping with joy.

But, thankfully, you were allowed in.

You'd started working on a weird star-crossed lovers / slowburn romance storyline with Alex, corny and cheesey, but thankfully contrasting to many of the other romance storylines on the SMP so far.

As your character arcs grew and progressed, so did you as people. You both began to realize that there was very undeniable romantic tension in the room and at the perfect timing, considering the Brazil meetup was right around the corner. You noticed not long after both Niki and Tubbo called you out on the "symptoms of loving Quackity" that Twitter and Tumblr had created the y/s/n tag. You were opened to a whole new world of fanfiction and fanart, which was no doubt adorable.

But, again, that meetup was right around the corner. You couldn't wait to meet your new friends, yes, but you were scared and worried that you'd make everything awkward with Alex. But, hopefully, it'd be a fun ride meeting up with your platonic boyfriend for the first time, and you'd make some amazing memories with all these people you'd met on the way here.

After that, the meetup was totally awkward. You both were obviously crushing on each other, but in an oh-so-typical fashion, didn't realize the others' feelings.

Tubbo stares down at you, trying to either catch your attention or intimidate you as you sit on the couch with Jaiden and Niki. You look up, seeing the brunette boy staring into your soul.

"Hello, Tubbo"

"Y/n. Go flirt with Quackity. I'm delivering a message"

"What?" You blink, glancing over at Alex standing with Roier, Cellbit, Etoiles, Foolish, and Tina across the room. "Why?"

"Because you've both been very awkward this whole time and it's obvious there's lingering sexual tension and it's annoying everyone that he won't make a move so I'm trying to get you to do so" He quickly speaks, hands heald behind his back.

You slowly look over at Niki and Jaiden, looking to you with wide smiles, like they were begging you to do it. You roll your eyes and groan, standing up with the help of Tubbo's outstretched hand, accepting the challenge.

"Hell am I even saying to him?" You question, running a hand through your hair due to the nerves.

"Ask him out." The three speak in unision.

"Oh, yeah, it's as easy as that," You sarcastically remarks.

You catch his gaze across the room, his sunglasses resting on top of his hat. You lightly wave with an awkward smile, which he sends right back, a little bit of red dusting his face. You feel your face warm up as you quickly look away, staring daggers into Tubbo's eyes.

"Nevermind, pal" You speak, sitting your ass right back down as you were to embarrassed after that interaction.

"Shit!"

The following day, you were out on a walk near the beach with Alex, Cellbit, Tina, Niki, and Roier. Tina and Roier were picking up damn near any seashell they could find, hosting a contest of who could find the better shells for Cellbit. Both of them were basically racing down the sand, yards ahead of the rest of you.

Niki and Cellbit chatter with Quackity about God knows what. Meanwhile, you were taking pictures of them and the beautiful scenery around you. You select about four or five to post to your Instagram, and title it 'platonic boyfriend made it awkward /hj. I don't wanna leave this beautiful place'. You click post and go to the QSMP Brazil Meetup Discord, and send the pictures to the photos channel for anyone in the pictures who wanted to save them.

You put your phone away for a while, drifting behind the trio as you slow your pace, having found a crab and wanting to look for some buried shells in the sand. You feel your phone buzz a few times, either being Instagram or Discord notifications. You ignore it, wanting to soak in the fresh, salty ocean air and the feeling of sand sticking to your hands and falling into the crevices of your shoes and socks.

While you catch up to the others about a football field away at this point, you take your phone out, wanting to check what those buzzes were. Instagram, not so surprisingly. But what was surprising was them being comments from Quackity.

'what if I didn't want you to only be my platonic partner 🤨 what then???'

'y/n please catch up to us they're bullying me now'

You read Niki and Roier's replies, smiling as you do so.

'y/n/n he's crying because he wants to be with you so bad'

'make the suffering end already, y/n'

You shove your phone back in your pocket and begin to jog down the shoreline, attempting to catch up to the five as the sun begins to slowly set over the water.

Once you reach them, you notice Alex's clammy hands on your shoulders and how fast he was speaking, cheeks red as ever. The other four stand off to the side, not directly watching but definitely listening as they look over the shells that Roier and Tina had gathered.

"Y/n I am so hopelessly in love with you and I wanna be your romantic boyfriend, not just your platonic boyfriend, because it's been driving me crazy for months. And everyone keeps telling me you feel the same way, so if I did this for nothing I might actually cry"

"You literally just asked me out on a beach, I don't even know if I'm dreaming-"

Quackity cuts you off by lightly pinching you. "You're awake! Sorry, fuck. I'm just, shit, if you need time, it's fine. This is just really embarrassing"

"How do you think I feel?" You joke, lightly smiling.

"You're a dick" He laughs

Discussing Blue Archive Lore and going progressively insane has been an experience. The Mystics, for example:

Each academy has its thing, right. Abydos is ancient Egyptian pantheon, Trinity is Christianity (+English/Irish/Scottish myth), Gehenna are the 72 demons, Valkyrie and SRT are Norse, Hyakkiyako is Japanese myth, and so on. So it's easy to establish a framework: "They're representative of cultural figures from x place".

So:

You have the ones that are Obvious: Shiroko is Anubis, Hoshino is Horus, Mika is the Archangel Michael, Seia is Gabriel, Hina is Baal, Wakamo is Tamamo no Mae, Niya is Ootakemaru, Kazusa is Cath Palug, Ako is Astaroth, among others

Then you have the ones that are "Obvious" as in "probably": Serika as Bastet, Saori as Lucifer, Nonomi as Nephtys, Nagisa as Uriel, Suzumi as Sariel, Koharu as Metatron, Hasumi as Sandalphon, Hinata as Jegudiel, Kanna as Odin, Miyako as Mimir, and so on.

Now you start getting a little out there, as you have to expand your the concept of "figure from x place" to "the concept from x place".

GW2 people - Pitch me YOUR idea for an Expansion!

What's the theme, where are we going, what lore threads are we picking up on, what's the story premise, what mechanics do you think it could have.

I love spitballing ideas when I'm talking with friends so I'm posing the question To Everyone because I know everyone has some pet concepts floating around. As self-indulgent as you'd like, as unrealistic as you like, just throw ideas around, I wanna hear them!

The One I think I have the most rounded ideas for would be an Underwater Expansion. Picking up on the threat of whatever is terrorising the deep oceans, having some exploration of the Largos and bringing back in the Quaggan and the Krait maybe!

I love the sort of depths we get in maps like Frostgorge sound, and underwater combat has badly needed a rework and a tune up - there's loads of skills which straight up don't work and break entire builds underwater, and this would be a perfect excuse to try bring it up to speed. Maybe even make the underwater weapon sets function on land, to satisfy those who're after more weapons. You could make the maps a mix of true underwater and perhaps giant air bubble caves so you still had some land exploration even in maps otherwise set deep under the ocean. A map meta split with land phases and water phases. Additionally as personal bias wish, I'd love map event/meta design more like HoT. A map-wide Story with a few chains with specifically Build into the actual true Meta. I also simply love the idea of having a bunch of enemy designs based of the ocean and the abyss, there's so much incredible inspiration and interesting marine life. and biomes too! Give me a hydrothermal vent section in one of the maps, hell underwater 'water' in the form of brine pool 'quicksand'.

The Turtle might get some more use out of it's underwater, and skimmer would absolutely get spotlight as a skyscale isn't going to get you too far here - hell maybe even some speedy new underwater mount could be a fun addition to the roster.

I can see a plot being around trying to work with the Largos, The 'Terror of the Deep' being a danger and learning from them about how to survive the hostile environment and also convince them work with you to Hunt the 'Terror'. Maybe you come to the area of the ocean with the Quaggans and it's convincing the Largos to take them seriously as allies against whatever you're fighting? A quaggan companion character would be really fun, and you could easily bring back Sayeh al' Rajihd from the personal story given Largos involvement. I think not only would it be something very different in terms of the maps, which granted quite a few people might not like (thalassophobia reasons, or general Dislike of Water Gameplay reasons), but I think a rework of the underwater mechanics would benefit a bunch of places and it's something that really doesn't get touched outside of base game and maybe like, the Leviathans in EoD. There's so much neat creature design inspiriation swimming around out there, and I know so many people love the largos and even if not playable getting to see more of them could be neat! Also - it'd finally make all those legendary full people happy. A Legendary Aquabreather :P.

And a new suite of legendary underwater weapons since the G1 set. (and not themed pretty please make them all Unique.)

guizhong is probs my main liyeu fav, bc of how i discovered her? like you get hints and drops from liyue exploration that she existed, they ruled guili plains with zhongli, she died, and then you find more lore and it seems like your standard sad dead wife cliche, oh she was smart, beautiful, kind, wise, ppl loved her, walking thru glaze lillies fields with long blue sleeves, her death was the only time rex lapis cried, yadda yadda kinda boring perfect dead gf package. but then i found her quote from her first meeting with zhongli where she was like "with my brains and your brawn this city will be made great" or smth and i was like wait... its kinda rude tho???

so i started thinking up what kind of coherent characterization would explain someone who like. rolled up to the strongest warlord in a region during gods' hunger games and went "hey there muscle, the brains of operation just arrived!" and ended up actually ruling with him together and then was remembered as wise and beloved. and ended up with like Argumentative, Outspoken, But Lovable Genius Gremlin, thought it'd be fun to write in a fic, and then it was revealed that i was right and she was exactly Like That asdfghjk

so now i just love her, and i don't even have preference in ships or smth, any new narrative connection is a win

I really like your medieval Star Wars art! It’s not just a very unique art style, but each character is individualized to how they would fit into the setting extremely well. I had a question though: do you have a greater background to the AU, or is it just each piece drawn as it comes to mind? Either is a great approach, I was just wondering which you used!

So, last summer, I had huge burnout. Then I watched the Prequel Trilogy with my siblings for shits, gigs, and nostalgia. The perfect formula for a hyper-fixation.

I don't consider the lore to be super airtight because I kinda add as I go and my goal is basically "What would a medieval fantasy equivalent of This be?"

I've been working on a massive post of all my current medieval SW art with annotations explaining my choices and little details. I love art books and behind the scenes type stuff so I just thought it'd be a fun thing to share for those who also think that stuff is interesting.

For now, here's some of my first sketches for this au (some are now finished works and some are still wips!) and a promise to eventually post my annotated art!

I have reason to believe Cassie's dad tried investigating into GGY, and it didn't end so well for him.

Let's get into why...

The therapists say to patient 46 (Gregory, while under the Dr. Rabbit (Mimic) influence) that the techs were getting concerned with his diving into the system, hacking it and messing with code to change how the animatronics act. This happens multiple times:

Now, what is Cassie's father? A Fazbear Technician! Evident by the fact he has a Faz-Wrench, something only Fazbear techs own. Now this is absolutely a stretch, right? Well, it is, until I bring up this note found in the AR world:

In the AR version of the Plex, Cassie experiences personal things that wouldn't be there for other people-- cutouts of herself with Roxy, of her with Gregory (and subsequently crying when he's gone), missing posters of Gregory, eyes that stare at her, mirrors, etc. So this note is another personal thing to her, and given the importance of the other personal things listed, it's likely this note has a good amount of significance to her too. I previously thought it was because Cassie's dad had left to look into something, but I had zero idea what it could be-- until now.

Either the note was placed by someone else to cover up her dad's disappearance (more likely, death), or he left it there knowing he'd be gone longer than normal while looking into this mysterious GGY. With people repeatedly disappearing, and GGY linked to the animatronics being messed up, he could've taken the initiative to look into it himself- and, possibly, payed the price for it.

When this happened, I don't have much of an idea. But I assume closer to the time SB took place rather than GGY, since it's pretty likely Mimic's influence was dropped right before the game, and RUIN seems to happen maybe a few weeks to a month after the base game? I think Cassie would've done something, or felt something was off, much sooner if it'd happened before then; but we don't know enough about her yet to know if that's the case. There's no mention of any other family she has outside of referenced 'emergency contacts'.

We still don't have a whole lot of information about Cassie, so we don't know how long she was left alone, if she's left alone often, etc.

With Help Wanted 2 possibly being a prequel to Security Breach, it's possible we'll also get a confirmation as to why and how Gregory got stuck under the Mimic's influence, plus what happened to Cassie's father. Maybe the game takes place a few weeks before Security Breach? I dunno. We just gotta wait and see!

I just doubt this note means 'he went away for a while at some point and came back', and it's not like past tense is used when she says her dad has a Faz-Wrench like it is when she talks about him collecting old lunch boxes. It has to be significant, otherwise, why include it?

I believe whatever happened to him, Cassie doesn't know about it yet- but her link to the Mimic, and by extension Gregory, goes deeper than we realised- that's why she was introduced at all in RUIN.

Her story is 100% far from over, but I don't believe we'll focus on her again juuust yet.

We know Scott doesn't drop huge lore without clarifying it in the next installment; Burntrap > Mimic for starters. Dittophobia happened, Steel Wool is now referencing fnaf 4 in tweets tagged as SB and RUIN. GGY is still shrouded in mystery, answers are bound to come up soon! (There are way more examples of Scott confirming lore in the next installment of something, but I can't bring it all to mind right now-- there's definitely plenty of examples, though, and iirc Scott made a steam post about this once)

Gregory had a huge reveal at the start of this year with GGY's release; plus, the Mimic (and how it can control things) was finally introduced in the games.

I think GGY is next to get fleshed out in the game universe, and Help Wanted 2 is the perfect place to start. And, of course, that all links to the people who'd sunk too deep into the mystery; the therapists, Tony Becker, and the technicians.

Tbh I wonder if it's even necessary to make the distinction between Glatorian and Agori as separate species, and for that matter, the Skrall and Bone Hunters. I do appreciate the idea of retroactively having the Matoran and Toa be recreations of the society that created them, but on the other hand, making it all one species within the lore would also help to differentiate the setting as more grounded, especially with the removal of elemental powers and Kanohi;

In general, Bara Magna's stories feel more human with how the cast struggles with human problems like getting enough food and water, poor working conditions, wages, etc. It's what helps differentiate the setting from the Matoran Universe, and leaning into that helps Bara Magna stand out in its own compelling way. Come to think of it, one could easily imagine everyone as human in these stories, and it wouldn't really change a thing nor contradict lore, minus the Glatorian and Agori being ridiculously long-lived; But that can be explained via cybernetic enhancements and the Great Beings' experiments.

But that gets me back to my main point; It'd be easy to explain the height difference with Glatorian as just genetic, species variation as one can see in humans themselves. And of course the bigger Agori gravitate towards the Glatorian profession, because it's one where their physique gives them a natural leg up over their peers; And it's not as if anyone has the privilege to choose jobs they enjoy vs ones that put food on the table.

In the first half of 2009, we're introduced to Berix, who wants to participate in the arena someday. Now we do have the Glatorain game, both its in-universe and real life counterparts, to justify this; Agori function as a separate game piece in the rules. But if Agori can fight alongside Glatorian in the ring, why not have Agori vs Agori matches, especially when the dilemma of tribes not having enough Glatorian is a thing?

Plus, this brings us to the second wave of 2009, which introduces a lot of Agori who can fight in the arena (even against Glatorian such as Perditus) via the great equalizer of vehicles; And then there's Telluris, who's a perfect middle-ground between Agori and Glatorian in terms of stature. Body types don't have to be canonized as a separate species, because sure the Skrall are built different, but so are Kiina and Strakk, who are nevertheless Glatorian. It avoids falling into the trope of the Evil Race, and again, humanizes the story even more by making it all one species. By the end of the day, the term Glatorian canonically only refers to the occupation, and not the larger species, which is technically still unnamed.
