i know the hunger games isnt about romance i know it isnt a love story but. theres just something so beautiful in the way peeta is the personification of what it means to heal and he /is/ the dandelion and the bread and the hope that things can be better even if they wont be fixed. even if the nightmares dont stop he will still hold her. wake her up and tell her shes alive. shes safe. and when its over and done and theres no more saving or protecting or trying their absolute hardest to die if it means keeping the other alive, the horrors dont stop. but katniss will still find that comfort in peetas arms.

Oh this is a fun coincidence! I DO know Baldur's Gate III, and I know the character your friend mentioned, and he does sound like stewie griffin roleplaying a discord kitten, that's a great fucking description. Just combine that mental image with that guy from that one barbie movie (white hair, funny scream) and you've got everyone's new favourite rat boy! (TBH I don't think he's that narratively unique, but he's integrated into the plot well and written excellently on a scene-by-scene basis and he's very well acted so I can get behind how compelling people find him xDD)

Anyways! The reason I know Baldur's Gate III is that it's, uh, actually my current hyperfixation. So,,,,, sorry for what you've inadvertently unleashed lol

if I think about how fucking sad it is that Dutch never intended to send anyone out to rescue Arthur in Blessed Are The Peacemakers, and that he left him to die Several times across the course of the game, and that in the end he just. stopped caring about Arthur and his well-being even while Arthur was actively on deaths door. anyway if I think about that for too long it makes me want to throw up

I can't explain how crazy i am about Xisuma (specifically dbhc Xisuma) but something about Second's fic really did change my brain chemistry. I just think Evil X and Xisuma's relationship and the mess that was Season 8 should be talked about more. I aint ever seen emotional manipulation and abuse more frankly spelled out than how Evil X treated him, however pathetic Evil X is. ANYWAY I WON'T RAMBLE TOO MUCH but thank you so much!! I really look forward to being able to post all of this stuff i've been doodling once we get through a little more dbhc lore in the future >:3
