I'm gonna divide them in the following types:

Obsessive

Possessive

Overprotective

Delusional

Manipulative

Clingy

I won't include sadist yanderes because I don't like them ┐(￣ヮ￣)┌ these are just some short headcanons I've been thinking about, so you're welcome to give me your opinions too

Frostheim

Jin: possessive. He'll do everything in his power to keep you under his control. Will drown you in jewelry as a way to show everyone that you're his possession. The absolute definition of putting a ring on it. Won't hesitate to wedlock you just to make sure you can never escape.

Tohma: manipulative. He knows exactly what to say and do to have you on his grasp. Eventually, your whole routine is based on his own schedule, and you will see yourself locked up at the vault most days, alone with him.

Kaito: obsessive and clingy. He's always thinking about you and would attach himself to your hip if he could. Likes to steal your things so he can put them on his altar dedicated to you. He is bordeline exasperating with how obvious his obsession is.

Luca: overprotective. He keeps you under his watch 24/7 to ensure your safety, even when there's no need to worry. He might invade your room without your knowledge from time to time just to ensure you're okay.

Vagastrom

Alan: overprotective. He treats you like porcelain. He would love to wrap you in bubble wrap and lock you in his room just to make sure you're safe. He has a hard time expressing himself, so he mostly stands by your side, menacingly.

Sho: possessive. Always one hand on the back of your neck or an arm around your waist or a hickey on your neck to make sure everyone knows you're his alone. Would not hesitate to beat the shit out of anyone who tried to shoot their shot with you.

Leo: manipulative. He has you wrapped around his finger. He knows when to bat his eyelashes, pout, and beg for kisses just to make you do his bidding. His mean girl persona is softened once he falls for you but doesn't go away. After all, love bombing is his main weapon against you.

Jabberwock

Haru: overprotective. Frets constantly about you. He has a gps installed on your phone and cameras around your room. He needs to know where you are and what you're doing at all times, even when he's busy. He seems normal because of his job, but he's constantly checking your location and only relaxes when you're right beside him.

Towa: clingy, obsessive, overprotective. The whole combo. Doesn't ever let you escape his sights. Will always be glued to your side and glare at anyone that so much as breathes near you. Actual threat to everyone's lives because he doesn't hesitate to electrocute them to keep you with him.

Ren: obsessive. He has a folder of your photos on his phone and tracks everything you do on your social media. Probably only leaves his room to steal your clothes. Extremely frustrated with himself since he can't stop being a tsundere.

Sinostra

Taiga: obsessive, overprotective, possessive. Another one that's the whole combo. He'll make you his arm candy 25/8. Threatens the life of anyone that talks to you, isolating you from everyone. He loves that, since you end up with only him to support you and protect you forever.

Romeo: delusional. Will most definitely lock you in one of his cages and convince himself that that is the perfect place for you to live. Firmly believes he is the only one who knows what you need, even better than yourself.

Ritsu: manipulative and obsessive. He canonically records you all day without your consent and spends time going through every single noise you make, so... Will use every single piece of information he gets to have you depend on him, always.

Hotarubi

Subaru: manipulative, clingy. He just needs to look at you with those sad eyes and done. You're 100% under his spell. Will find every possible excuse to make you stay by his side at Hotarubi, and if you aren't convinced, he'll quickly guilt trip you into staying anyway.

Haku: manipulative, obsessive. You're quite literally the only thing in his mind. He'll mold himself into whatever you like so you'll fall for him as much as he's fallen for you. He keeps his whole life as a secret so you won't run away from him, but he knows every single minute detail of you.

Zenji: clingy, obsessive. Being a ghost allows him to literally stay with you 24/7 – as you live your days and as you sleep. Notices literally every detail of yours, from how many moles you have to the type of shampoo you use. If he didn't phase through objects, he would probably have a shrine dedicated to you as well.

Obscuary

Rui: clingy. He needs you around him at all times, or he'll become a complete mess. Sends you a thousand texts and calls you a hundred times every single day and follows you around campus as closely as possible without ever touching you.

Lyca: clingy, overprotective. A lost puppy. He will follow you everywhere and growl at everyone. Extremely jealous if he sees you giving attention to anyone else and will sulk until you promise he is and always will be your favorite boy. He is mostly harmless, just very clingy and jealous. Say he is your good boy, and he'll fold and do anything for you. Just don't piss him off during a full moon.

Ed: manipulative. He will cough and moan and whine until you're convinced to give him your full attention. If you don't believe that the cure for his sickness is you being under the blanket with him, he'll straight up just fake a seizure to shut you up and force you to take care of him.

Mortkranken

Yuri: delusional. He is absolutely convinced he has your best interest in mind as he straps you to his operating table to give you a full body exam. He will shush you and click his tongue when you try to leave. He is just taking good care of you and making sure you're healthy enough to spend the rest of your life beside him, isn't it obvious?

Jiro: obsessive. He finds himself at your doorstep even when you don't have a health checkup. He lays down on your bed and hangs out in your room on his own, even if you're not there. He just wants to bask in your scent. Would definitely follow you around like a mindless zombie if it wasn't for his sickness.

obon is in august that is barely summer tbh. i mean some places celebrate it in july i guess. but that's an interesting worldbuilding observation. local spirit and 'monster' related festivities influence the amount of anomalies that spawn in a region. so halloween in america and the uk result in a lot of anomalies. maybe there are lots of love related anomalies and like doves around valentine's day? then again Luca said they don't have them in the UK that he's aware of.

Winter: (December-February) (between 5am and 11am)

"{PC}, your hands are red from the cold. Come on, let's run to the classroom. It'll warm you up."

while that is a realistic way of warming up who tf wants to go for a run in the cold. i mean it probably feels good the contrast in heat and cold but also HOW ABOUT WE GO TO THE STORE AND GET SOME MITTENS OR SOMETHING. but it is a very in character response for him lol. . . .

(between 11am and 4pm)

"When Kaito put a satsuma on his head and said, "I'm a New Year's decoration," Tohma fell silent and walked away. I'm confused— was it some sort of spell?"

satsuma are those little mandarins they put on top of kagami-mochi at New Years! if you've seen japanese winter/new years art you may have seen characters with them sat atop their heads while they relax in kotatsu. in the japanese version Kaito says "kagami-mochi" and Luca likely doesn't know what kagami-mochi is, so he thought it was magic.

(between 4pm and 8pm)

"The sun sets early this time of year. It's easy to feel down when the nights are long, but that's why it's especially important to stick to a routine like an exercise schedule."

Luca wards off his seasonal depression with exercise. good to know.

i gently rag on him for caring about nothing else but. it's clear how much his brother means to him and how worried he is about him, that even his birthday is dedicated to worrying over his wellbeing. idk who or what he prays to, or if it's just a general hoping thing or a 'since i'm in japan i'll make my pleas to japan's gods, in case those entities might have any power to help' type thing, like going to a shrine just because it's what everybody does, but. idk. i hope he can have a nice birthday outside of worrying about his brother. then again, it's hard to enjoy your birthday when you know it's your twin's birthday too and not knowing where they are, i guess.

Do you ever think about the whole Ritsu and Shou reunion from Shous perspective combined with allnof shous Issues. Like. Imagine someone else completed your life's purpose and you are left aimless and you have no idea what to even do with yourself. You have this massive connection with someone and are so sure you will be Best Friends Forever because it was like this instant magical connection like you always read about. But the months go on and it's so so hard to Talk to people, it's so hard to be normal, you have no idea how to act when people aren't in danger, you have no idea what normal people talk about, you have no idea how to just be a Person and not someone's Savior. this all felt so sarcastic... was he really happy for you or he just couldn't be bothered by it. you couldn't help but let a little pout crawl up to your lips. ritsu, being the analytical person he is, was able to spot the small frown and pout forming. he can't help but smile at the knowing expression you gave.

" cmon now, what's with the face. you can tell me what's on your mind, I've prepared this little tea party all for you... I even took a nap before you came so I'm all ears and fully awake for you now, " he giggles as he poke in between your brows and then pinch your cheeks, in hopes for the pout to go away.

taking a deep breath, you look elsewhere. how can you really tell ritsu, you can't trust his earlier words. knights wasn't just singing and dancing, they do shoots from time to time, especially having izumi and arashi there. ritsu was waiting expectantly for your reply. with a sigh, you slammed both hands on the table, standing up from your seat. with those actions, ritsu jolted from his seat.

"Ritsu, are you serious? You've never watched Sleeping Beauty?" You ask, eyebrows furrowed and jaw dropping in a jokingly way as the older male shrugs, whilst pouting playfully, tapping on the notebook with the pen you have him.

"I mean.. They forced me to watch it for a photoshoot, I didn't really pay attention though." Ritsu mutters, before continuing.

"Have you ever watched Home Alone?" He asks, looking at you with expectant eyes, while you reflect the same pout he did seconds ago as he chuckles at you. He already knew the answer at this point.

"Seriously? [Last name]? You haven't?" He scoffs playfully before pulling the notebook towards him, writing down what seems like notes.

1.) Watch Home Alone with Ritsu. (Said boyfriend.)

This time, it's your turn to scoff, snatching your notebook and pen away from him, writing down something similar.

'Ritsu Kuma'

He smiles, noticing your tendencies and observations, before piping up once more. "If you're gonna be my pretend significant other, we have to make it look real, alright?"

You groan in response, "I don't even know why I'm helping you out with this. What's in it for me?" Ritsu laughs once again, before adding. "My infinite love and cuddles~" He answers, making you roll your eyes.

"I'm alright with that. But.. If you want to be my boyfriend, you'll have to put up with my family first." You tilt your head in a teasing manner, like it's a way to get back at him.

"Shit. I have to meet your family?" He quickly fixes his stance whilst sitting, replicating when you tilted your head, but this time, a concerned expression on his face.

"Yep." You reply blankly, before noting down something new on the notebook.

He shakes his head, smiling. "Are the words in the parenthesis really necessary?" He places his head on the palm of his hand, his red irises looking right up at you.

"Yes! I've seen the way you act around older people," A huff comes out of your lips, as Ritsu snatches back the pen and notebook, making you tilt your head.

"Das cute." You tease, Ritsu's hand dropping the pen, now traveling to pinch your face as you scowl. "You're even cuter when you whine like that." He retorts, smirking slightly.

You let out a small 'Tch', before continuing what you were about to say. "I have siblings, by the way. You gotta deal with them." Ritsu seems to freeze at that statement, before clearing his throat.

"Are they assholes?" He asks, while you shake your head, a relieved sigh escaping his lips.

"I have to get to practice, okay, pretty? We'll add more rules later." The male smirks, before standing up, as you nod.

He places a small kiss on your forehead before he goes, and as he walks away, you look back, twirling your pen in your other hand.

Dimple's return

Ritsu is going crazy and using his position on student council for evil. he catches zombie disease from Shigeo because he drank after him in an attempt to forcefully heal from his Water Trauma, assuming that it would be safe. it was not safe

Ritsu can't get to sleep that night. he assumes it's anxiety/paranoia keeping him awake and is mad at himself for worrying about the water even though he's officially strong enough to get over that. the next day he notices that he's more uncoordinated than usual. he's having trouble coming up with articulate things to say. he doesn't feel pain when he pinches his own cheek. oh. oh shit.

(meanwhile, word is getting out about the zombie from Salt that beat Teruki Hanazawa, Black Vinegar's resident zombie, and completely burned the Black Vinegar school building down. People are confirming that Salt definitely has a cure, and it definitely has at least one sentient zombie who is still as strong as a regular zombie. this will lead up to the mogami arc, which kicks off with an inter-town conference about possibly sharing information about cures and things that make their communities function.

the rumors about Salt also attracts the attention of Claw, an organization of zombie disease survivors trying to take over the world in the absence of centralized government.)

Back to Ritsu. The day he realizes he's Turning, he gets through the rest of the school day by sheer force of will, goes home, and tries to leave a note for Shigeo. He finds that he can't remember how to write. And he doesn't know how long his brother is going to be gone. Shigeo might get back tonight, when Ritsu is probably still going to be lucid, or in two days, when Ritsu will be pretty far gone. Ritsu throws the useless pencil at the wall and freaks out, gasping through a panic attack. what is he gonna do what ishe gonna do whatis he gonnado.

He could go to the doctors and ask to be cured. He SHOULD go to the doctors and ask to be cured. He doesn't want to but he has to.

At this point, he hears a knock on the front door and can't stomach answering the door. He flees to another room and pretends not to be there. The knocking gets more insistent. A voice calls "Oi! Anyone home?"

Ritsu freezes. He knows that voice.

It's Dimple. It can't be Dimple. That's Dimple's voice.

He composes himself and answers the door. It's Dimple. Dimple in a medical mask, with eyes more grayed-out than last time Ritsu saw him, robes dirty, smelling terrible. Ritsu bursts into tears.

Dimple was not expecting to be greeted like that. and by unbreakable Ritsu of all people. He kinda shooes Ritsu into the house and closes the door behind them, and Ritsu manages to gasp out "Dimple—you're alive—thank goodness—I'm so relieved—." Dimple goes "uh, yeah, I'm fine."

He really wasn't expecting this so he just kinda pats Ritsu on the shoulder a couple times and says "I'm super tough, you know!"

Ritsu then pulls himself together and wipes his face on his sleeve and says, "I'm really happy you're here. I have a request."

Dimple is out of his depth but he goes "Sure, what's up?", figuring Ritsu is, like, having trouble fitting in with all the normal kids, or something. Dimple expected Ritsu to want to know what Dimple was up to while he was gone, but whatever, he's always happy to give advice, and Ritsu is behaving really worryingly.

And Ritsu says, "I got zombie disease and I don't know what to do."

Oh shit (x2).

Dimple takes a moment to process that and then looks Ritsu in the eyes and goes, "Ritsu. Does this town have a cure." Yes it does. "Okay. You're going to get the cure." Okay. "Where's your brother." oh—(here Ritsu remembers that Dimple doesn't know what's going on) he's out. working. I don't know when he'll be back. He's fine, he's—he got cured. "Okay, we'll leave him a note—" I can't write anymore, Dimple, I can't remember how to write—

Dimple gets Ritsu to the hospital. Ritsu loses the ability to speak by the time they get there, and no one in Salt knows who Dimple is because Ritsu never talked about him, so the hospital staff try to separate him from the random homeless guy who claims he knows him. but as soon as they pry Dimple's hand off Ritsu's shoulder Ritsu goes ballistic.

He's punching, he's yelling hoarsely, he's trying to bite. Dimple yells "LET GO OF ME AND HE'LL STOP!" and they let go of him. Ritsu is still growling in the back of his throat, but Dimple catches Ritsu's eyes and stoops low, almost like a bird, and takes a few steps forward, coaxingly, and Ritsu follows, still with his teeth bared all the way to the gums.

Dimple gets Ritsu to comply with the doctors enough to submit to a blood drawing. Meanwhile, Dimple convinces the hospital staff that he knows Ritsu by explaining that he was with Ritsu and Shigeo when they were traveling. He refers to Mob as "Shigeo", something he wouldn't do if he'd heard of "Ritsu and Mob" by rumor, and he clearly knows the Kageyama brothers, so they let him stick around with Ritsu and make decisions about him until Shigeo arrives back.
