As a member of the powerful and influential (L/N) Family, she has had to live with the heavy weight of seeing others write her destiny with no choice but just obey. 6- Have We Got a Deal?

I rewrote this chapter like three times, and hopefully, now it turned out better. I read my progress again a couple of weeks ago and it was simply, not right. I hated it so much that I decided to delete it and work again on it. The essence is the same of what I planned for this chapter and although it is a bit longer now, I took the chance to get into more detail about certain things and express better about others. The conversation between Reader-chan and Kaguya may have become a bit deeper than it used to be, but I really liked the outcome and gave me more ideas for the future plot. That's all for now.

“W-Wait a minute! You can’t be serious, do you- do you understand the implications of what you’re saying?!” You said incredulously.

“Of course I do, why do you think we are here?” Kaguya said while she took another canape and bit it. She chewed slowly while you watched her attentively, the dread in your stomach growing by increments, exasperated for her to continue. She finally swallowed and took a sip of wine.

“So? Would you care to explain what on earth is actually happening, because you don’t expect me to believe that the cause of such an unprecedented change is because of some internet gossip” You said in a demanding tone.

“Of course it’s not, but if you are patient enough I’ll explain it to you with pleasure, so you better watch your tone with me, brat.” She hissed.

You puffed out your cheeks but nodded in cue for her to continue.

“Approximately three days ago grandmother convened a last-minute meeting in her abode to discuss this problem. At first, I thought she was overreacting about this whole ordeal, after all big corporates and companies are attacked and critized all the time, but after a long, long discussion, we all agreed that the situation should not be taken lightly and it needed to be addressed as soon as possible.”

“That bad it is?” You asked slightly concerned.

“Unfortunately,” Kaguya answered. “Walls covered in graffiti in Kyoto, people protesting and messing with the employees at the ER main entrance in Hosu, broken windows in Deika and thousands and thousands of emails and nasty messages in all our social media accounts. We had to hire the services of a whole publicity agency so they could deal with the problem, hardly. It has been difficult to contain, but it paid off because it hasn’t been leaked into any important newscast. Internet, the origin of the problem, has been another story, unfortunately, in these cases, it can be very difficult and unforgiving to work with; once something enters, is nearly impossible to pull it out and if you succeed there’s always a risk it would pop up anywhere when you least expect it.” Kaguya said while she rubbed her temples.

“Internet is a huge source of news and information for thousands of people nowadays, even millions, fake or not, and also the main responsible that this situation slipped out of control faster.”

You contemplated your next words as you soaked in all the information you just were provided with, so you could express your ideas and queries as clear as possible. “Okay…but why is everybody so angry about our current family situation? I get it’s messed up, but why go as far as vandalize privite property and nag about it on social media?” You asked slightly hesitant.

“As an institution, we had always presented and preserved ourselves as a family, working to, and for the Japanese families generation after generation, no matter where we went, we always went together, always radiating the image of a happy, healthy, and unified family. Throughout the time several members of our family had made multiple presentations in public inspiring kindness and charisma, earning the trust and love of the people, which is impressive considering the heavily hero centered world we live in. Now that there are strong rumors putting all of these apparent facts into question, some people feel mocked, disappointed, and cheated… besides other things.” Kaguya mumbled.

“Sorry I could not listen the last part Kaguya.” You said puzzled.

“Don’t worry, I was just talking to myself, the important thing is that the problem is been solved, millions will be invested but is necessary. We have already started a huge ad campaign, a lot of important heroes will be involved so we can reassure and remind people why we have been their number one choice during over a century, that we still the same and will always remain the same, that we do not change, we improve.”

“I see, but you haven’t explained what does this have to do with me going to U.A-”

“As I told you she decided to make exceptions, due to the unusual situation we are going through right now we need unusual solutions as well and as part of our ad campaign and for the sake of our image she decided that two fortunate souls would have the chance to pursue a carrier of their choice, you know to placate the masses.”

“ Of course, a different series of factors would be taken into account when examining the option chosen and its potential benefits for the interests of the company, if these results are not satisfactory, the other alternatives will be analyzed to find a more suitable one and the aforementioned process will be repeated. Once we find satisfactory results, grandmother will proceed to revise everything once more and give her approval or deny it.”

“So, what you’re telling me is that we are doing the same thing but with more options? And they are going to evaluate if we can actually perform well in these new career options?” You asked unimpressed at your grandmas’ unwillingness to let the leash lose a bit even in a situation like this.

“Exactly right, it’s a change but there are still rules nonetheless.” Kaguya affirmed as she refilled her cup again. “Don’t get me wrong, she is really mad, just the thought of sacrifice two pawns in one single move is driving her crazy”

“Which selection system will be used in this case?” You asked.

“Nominations. As you already know there are two potential candidates, besides you of course.”

“Two? But there’s other three-”

“Aya has already been selected by grandmother herself, he’ll be enrolled into U.A next year via recommendation, everything is ready and processed the only thing left is to break the news on him.”

You grimaced, anxious, and preoccupied to see your already thin chances narrow even more. Your cousin, Aya was a famous vlogger and influencer with a strongly settled fanbase in and out of Japan. His videos generally focus on his daily life, trips to cool and exotic destinations, and the typical ‘eat this’, ‘do that’ challenges that always went around the internet.

He also participated in different campaigns to raise funds for different charitable causes and was a fervent advocator of animal rights and the environment, even donating millions from his own pocket. He always did his best to involve the name of the (L/N) Group, allowing them to organize, participate and sponsor some of these events helping bust their image as a caritative, conscious, and woke organization.

The bastard overflew with kindness and charisma and knew how to surround himself with the right people to manage his channel properly, although no relatable for the regular mid-class YouTube user, you had to admit that his videos were fun, entertaining, interesting, and sometimes, informative, that was the reason they were always flooded with millions of views, comments, likes and overall the crushing success he was experiencing every time he uploaded a new one.

He’s rich, famous, handsome, and had an appealing personality, add hero to that list and you’ll get the recipe to success. It wouldn't surprise you at all if he reached the top 10 of the HBC in a year just out of sheer popularity. His quirk is also fitted for a hero, he’ll need some serious training, but nothing that money and elite PT could not manage.

“How am I supposed to compete with that?” You whispered with your head down watching how your knuckles turned whiter as your hands crinkled your uniform skirt.

“Don’t trouble yourself with what you’re not supposed to, Aya is not competition, not anymore, instead try to focus on the actual competition, and may I add that you got a really big chance with my brother out of the picture. Kaguya smirked at you confidently.

“You think so?” You asked doubtfully.

“Believe me (Y/N), my sister is really smart and competent, but has the charm and social skills of a cardboard box, and Himeko, well… we could resume all her virtues, abilities and skills to shopping, makeup, gossip, selfies, social media, being pretty and an absolute headache. Grandmother got big plans for her after she graduates though, so I’ll take her out of the picture as well.”

“Big plans?” You said arching your eyebrow.

“Let’s say that, right now, we have a great, juicy, and very convenient deal that is in negociation right now and she is a vital piece to close it successfully. Don’t worry, your curiosity will be satiated soon enough.”

“What worries me is that I think I got a grasp of what you’re talking about.”

“Aw. Come on, businesses are businesses (Y/N), C’est la vie.” She said as she shrugged uninterested.

“Yeah, because is not you.” You grumbled.

“Excuse me?”

“I said, why don’t you continue.”

“You are right, where we were? Oh, right.”

‘Was she really just dismissing the topic like that?!’

“Tell me (Y/N), do you think that I would have brought you here and propose this plan to you if I didn’t have an ace up my sleeve? Please. There are some important and positive points that can grant us success if we exploit them properly, but we must play our cards wisely, unfortunately, that’ll have to wait until we are completely alone.” Confused your arched your eyebrow, until your ears were met with the sound of the wheels of a certain golden cart rapidly approaching.

“Hello again ladies, let me take this off,” Hiro said while he took the almost empty canape plate along the rest of the dishes. “Is there anything else you would like? Would you like another beverage (L/N)-sama?” Hiro said looking at your semi voided glass.

“Y-Yes please”

“Alright!” With the swift and skill of years of experience, Hiro served your plates, removed the shiny silver food covers, refilled both water cups and Kaguya’s wine cup as well in less than a minute. “Please enjoy, if there’s anything else you would like I’ll be happy to assist you! I’ll be back in a minute with your drink miss.”

You spent the next couple of minutes in total silence waiting for your drink in order to continue your conversation privately and interruption-free. Just as said, Hiro returned instants later with the promised drink and finally left you two to converse calmly.

“Well, now that the coast is clear, let me fill you up with what you have to know and do in order to obtain a favorable outcome for both of us.” Kaguya began as she sliced a bite of quail breast.

“So, this is my plan…”

Now with your dinner night already finished, you were now heading to your house. This ride was as quiet as the one to the restaurant, but without the suffocating weight of uncertainty. Your head was filled now with the echoes of your conversation with Kaguya, debating, analyzing, considering, comprehending every single word of it.

“You seem troubled, you are doubtful, aren’t you?” Said Kaguya interrupting your thoughts.

“I’m more scared than anything if this doesn’t work-”

“It will, you already know what to do, just focus on that. I’ll keep in contact with you anyway, in case of emergencies or any last-minute matter.” She then proceeded to rummage in her purse and took out a brand-new phone, it was one of those not so high-quality flip phones that you can get for a really low price, probably a disposable one.

“I already put my phone number in it, so we can communicate without issue. This phone is a really basic one, so it has no internet access but you have unlimited calls and texts. Just make sure to keep it hidden from your mother or that blabbermouth maid of yours.”

“Yes, I’ll find a place.”

“Perfect, remember, the announce dinner will be this Saturday, surely your mom would tell you, everybody will be there, they must at least.”

Another twenty minutes passed before you were at the main door of your lavish home. Silently, you excited the car after Soichiro opened the door for you and you headed to the front door.

“We’ll keep in contact, until then, (Y/N).” Kaguya said softly, once she finished Soichiro shut the door, bowed his head, and wished you a good evening. He straightened up his posture and proceeded to hop in the car again. Quietly you observed the car get farther and farther until it disappeared. You stayed there in silence, while the nightly wind swayed your hair delicately. The sound of the door opening distracted you, then, you turned around to be met with the gentle smile of Nobu-san.

“Okaerinasai, (Y/N)-sama, how was your dinner with Kaguya-sama?”

“Pretty…unexpected.” You looked everywhere, making sure that nobody else was listening to your conversation. “I’ll fill you out on the details later” You whispered and Nobu-san nodded knowingly. “I see, your bath is ready (Y/N)-sama. Please take your time and relax, it’s been a long night after all,” He got slightly closer to you and cupped his hand around his mouth, and whispered. “I’m pretty sure you’ll make good use of this time to ponder any thought that is troubling your mind.” He distanced from you, crossed his arms behind his back, and gave you a gentle closed-eye smile. “Would you like a cup of tea after your bath?”

You smiled at him fondly.

“(F/T/F), please.”

You’ve been lying if you said that you could actually sleep the night before. Your head could not stop to reproduce in a loop your conversation with Kaguya the night before, like a broken record you couldn’t escape from. Before you noticed, the outrageous melody of your alarm resounded in the spaciousness of your room. You groaned in protest, unwillingly getting up to start your day.

Dressed and ready, you took your bag and went downstairs to have breakfast. Before you could finish hopping down the stairs you caught a glimpse of your mother sitting at the head chair, like always with your father by her side, she was holding her morning coffee while she read some emails on her laptop.

As always she looked stunning in her soft pink and golden outfit, she crossed her legs, put down her cup and started typing in her laptop.

You straighten your posture the best you could and approached the table with delicate steps. “Good morning mother, good morning dad”

“Good morning dear, how did you sleep?” Said your mother without taking her eyes off the screen in a somewhat flat tone as her fingers tapped nimbly over the keyboard. “Pretty well, and yourself?” You said while you took a seat at the innecesarily expansive dinning table.

“Not so well sadly, there’s been some… issues I had to take care of.” She hissed a bit irritated as she rubbed her temples.

“I-I see, hopefully, you’ll have a better day today, mother.”

“I doubt it, unluckily, but thank you for your words, darling. Now hurry up or you’ll be late.”

“Yes, mother.”

“You should have some fresh fruit honey; the mangos are delicious!” Said the cheerful voice of your father. You smiled fondly at him while he reciprocated with a smile of his own. “I’ll do then, thank you for your suggestion dad.” You answered while one of the maids served you a portion of fresh mixed fruit in a bowl and Nobu-san poured tea in your cup.

“(Y/N)” Spoke your mom.

“Yes, mother?”

“Your grandmother had organized a family dinner this Saturday that we must assist, of course, I expect nothing less of you than be on your best behavior, also is imperative that you choose your outfit today so I can determine if it’s appropriate for the occasion. If you need to go shopping just tell Sasaki, I activated your debit card again just this time.” She said authoritatively.

“Yes mother, I’ll do it today after class.” You said as you topped your fruit with some honey, yougurt and granola.

“Splendid, now if you excuse me, I have to go now, Haru, hurry up or we’ll be late”

“Yes, cara mia” Your father beamed. Your mother then rose from her chair took her handbag and draped her coat over her shoulders. Your father then finished his coffee as soon as he could and went behind her. “Have a good day princess!” Exclaimed you dad. “Thank you, you too!” You answered while you saw them get escorted by an army of bodyguards.

Soon enough the door was closed and you were left alone. “(Y/N)-sama I advise you to hurry as well, school starts in thirty minutes” Said the familiar voice of Nobu-san. “What!? Oh, I’m going to be late! Ok, I got this! I’ll brush my teeth and I’ll be ready-please ask Sasaki-san to start the car! I will be there in a minute!” You stuttered while climbing up stairs.

“Sure thing, Ojou-sama,” He said with an amused smile.

“Thank you again for joining me for shopping Momo”

“Oh, it’s no trouble at all, I’ll also take the chance to buy some new accessories as well,” Beamed your ravenette friend. It was the end of the school day and you had asked Momo to help you choose new accessories to complement a dress you already had.

“But to be honest I never imagine that your mom would lose her grip on you so soon even if it’s temporary, what surprised me more was what Kaguya-san told you yesterday,” She whispered trying to no let your conversation be known by Sasaki-san although the automated partition window was up as a precautionary measure. “Are you sure you can trust her?” She said concerned.

“I still don’t know, suddenly everything became so complicated, I mean her plan is good and has a high probability to work, and right now I don’t have a better option, I don’t even have any options, to begin with!” You groaned, confused.

“What’s still bugging me is why is she helping you in the first place? I can’t help but find it suspicious no matter how much I think about it. Did you ask her something about it?”

“I did, but she went into this mysterious and enigmatic mode and just said something like ‘You’ll know soon enough’ It would be easier to pinch a glass than get something out of her.” You said with a tone of frustration.

“I guess that the only thing we can do now is to wait and see,” Sighed Momo while she shrugged her shoulders. “By the way, what are we going to do first?” She said more animatedly.

“Let’s start with the shoes and then maybe a new jewelry set, a new clutch as well would be good. What you think?”

“I think is a splendid idea!” Momo exclaimed.

Could you do a fanfic involving Natsu listening to Erza's heartbeat and/or performing CPR on her?

I am very sorry that I took so long to answer this. I hope you didn’t feel like I ignored you. Enjoy! :D

“Do we really have to do this?”

Natsu asked, hoping for the unlikely case that he could simply leave right now.

“Absolutely! You should know basic CPR. What are you going to do if one of your teammates, even me, gets heavily injured or has a heart attack?”

Erza responded strictly to Natsu’s question. This has been on her mind for a long time now. Right now the best thing Natsu can do is punch through everything but it is just as important to know how to react in these dangerous situations as well.

“I call Wendy and beat the shit out of the guy that’s responsible”

A very typical Natsu-Answer.

“You can’t always rely on Wendy for these kinds of things. That’s why I will teach you the basics right here, right now”

Of course, Erza had already prepared everything. She even wore her nurse uniform and lend the infirmary key from Mira.

“Hey, do I get to train it with those weird dummies? You know, the ones with the weird expression you can basically punch around all the time?”

Natsu’s eyes sparkled as he imagined he’d get his own training dummy, even though he didn’t intend to do CPR in the slightest. He would love to test out new combos and attacks he thought up recently. The pink-haired mage remembered the wise words of his father, Igneel the firedragon when he was teaching him dragon slayer magic. “A dragon’s best friend is his training dummy” as he obliterated it with a massive fireball. Although, it was a tree stub instead of a dummy, but that didn’t matter that time.

“Unfortunately, since SOMEONE destroyed every medical dummy in the entire guild…” Erza sharply glared at Natsu which immediately send chills down his spine. “we have no dummies to train on”

“So… w-what are we gonna do now?”

“ *sigh* Well, it’s not like we have a choice. You will train CPR on me”

Not even waiting for Natsu’s response Erza stood up and prepared the ‘training grounds’. She pushed a few of the beds out of the way, lay out some clean blankets on the floor, and sat down on top of it.

“Eh?! On you? You’re joking right?”

Was all Natsu could respond with his mouth left open. CPR? On Erza? Is this a trap?

“Do I look like I am joking?” Erza sternly glared right into Natsu’s eyes “No get over here. Now!”

“AYE!”

Pale from fear, Natsu rushed over to Erza’s side. Erza lay down with her back on the blankets.

“Now let’s get this over with. First, you make sure there are no hard objects on the patient’s chest. I don’t want you to press a button or something like that in my chest!”

It took a few moments to realize but Erza’s nurse uniform had quite a lot of buttons on its top. He had to get rid of them right. But she didn’t even wear a bra or a shirt beneath it. But that means…

Natsu swallowed the saliva that suddenly manifested itself in his mouth. Was he allowed to? But she just told him to, right? That was a clear sign of consent, right? RIGHT? Natsu slowly, yet nervously, reached out to Erza’s top to slowly get rid of the obstacle. They have seen each other naked lots of times so this should be not a big deal.

“Let me just requip out of this real quick”

Just as she said that a bright light enveloped her nurse top and soon after the light was extinguished it was replaced by a basic white t-shirt. Erza looked over to Natsu who quickly hid his hand behind his back and looked the other way.

“What’s wrong?”

“N-nothing! Let’s continue”

Erza was a bit surprised by his reaction but decided to not mind it and continue on.

“Alright, first check the heartbeat. If you can feel no heartbeat, place your hands on the patient’s chest and perform approximately 30 chest compressions. You know how to do those, don’t you?”

“Sure, I do!”

“Then go on”

Natsu kneeled next to Erza and was just about to place his hands on Erza’s chest but just as he was about to touch her, he blushed and hesitated a bit.‘She is not wearing anything below this shirt…’ he thought as small fire streams were shooting out from both of his ears.

Why was he so surprisingly conscious of her right now? He had already seen her naked a couple of times and they took baths together a lot back then. It didn’t give it a second thought then but right now something was different. He was completely aware of her beautiful face and her perfectly developed body that was laying right in front of him. Maybe it’s because he was so rarely alone with her. Most of the time Ice Princess was present during most of those times. Natsu may be about to perform chest compressions but it was his heart that was beating way faster than it should for an unknown reason.

“What’s wrong Natsu? Hurry up”

Natsu quickly shook of these weird thoughts and, after checking her heartbeat, placed his hand on her chest like Erza showed him before when she tried to lecture him about First Aid.

As soon as his muscular hand touched her breasts Erza, he instinctively made a quick groping motion that sent a quick electric shock through Erza’s body that made twitch and let out a high pitched “Hii" for a second.

“Hii?” Natsu asked confused.

“I-It’s nothing. Just go on”

“Alright”

While his hands were resting on her chest now he could feel the rhythm of her breathing and, of course, her steady heartbeat. Sure, it is a bit unconventional to practice CPR on a healthy living person these days but that was not the reason Natsu once again grew very conscious of his actions. Maybe it was his heightened senses that made him strangely aware of a lot more stimuli than a normal human being could ever perceive. The soft sensation of feeling her breasts right in his hands, her heartbeat that ever so slightly pushed his hand up and down in a steady rhythm, the sensation of her breath he could feel on his arms. All of those were enough to make every second feel like an eternity. To think that all those small sensations were enough to make him lose his mind just because they were coming from the one woman he secretly admired and looked up for all these years.

With a small blush on his face, he was just about to start but was interrupted by Erza in the last second.

“Also, if you break my ribs, I am going to murder you”

“A-Aye”

Natsu grew so tense out of fear that he almost broke his spine by flexing his muscles so hard.

Finally snapping out of it, he started to add pressure to her chest in a slow rhythm. He was being extra careful not to hurt her, for her and for his sake.

“Y-you should do it a little bit harder”

“O-okay” Natsu nervously answered as he started to apply a little more pressure

“Faster, Natsu” Erza demanded with a slightly shaky voice that Natsu didn’t even notice.

“A-Aye!”

…

A few moments later Natsu took off his hands of her chest. Both of their faces were painted in a light shade of red.

“Alright, let’s go on.”

“Checking the breathing, correct?”

“Exactly. If the patient is not breathing, you are supposed to perform Mouth-to-Mouth Resuscitation.”

“Okay…”

Natsu came closer and closer to Erza’s face to listen for her breathing. The closer he got, the more did her face got the same color as her hair. Even with their intimacy, it was unusual for Erza to have him so close to her face. Her heartbeat started to go so fast that it felt like her heart was going to jump straight out of her chest. She didn’t pay it much attention before but he sure did grow up to be incredibly handsome and especially reliable. The strong muscles he had all over his body were strangely quite attractive right now. His arms and his hand he just used to feel up her body transferred so much heat even through the thin piece of cloth she had on. Erza felt like that having his hand touch over him was enough to bring her back to life again and make her armored heartbeat multiple times faster than normal.

Erza shared many intimate moments with Natsu but… was he always that attractive? What was it that made her so conscious of him right now? Was it because they were alone together right here, right now?

“Alright, I checked the breathing”

Erza suddenly snapped back to reality and shook off her weird thoughts.

“Okay. Be careful to fully cover the patient’s mouth to make sure no air escapes”

Erza was already back in teaching-mode without Natsu even realizing anything strange.

“A-Alright, I’m gonna start now…”

Erza’s head was gently pushed backward by Natsu and she could immediately feel her lips expecting his. Her eyes may have been closed but she could clearly feel the dragon slayer’s face coming closer. She didn’t know whether the slight increase in temperature she could feel on her face was the result of Natsu’s magic or was it something completely different.

The same moment their mouths met and this hot breath entered Erza’s body, an adrenaline-rush made the Erza’s time slow down significantly. It was at that moment both of them felt a special bond being formed. A moment like this was enough to Erza feel the intimacy she never had experienced. It should not be like this, right? This was only CPR, nothing special, yet enough to surpass every bath they had together.

They felt closer than never before. Both of them completely forgot what they got here for in the first placed and lost themselves in the moment. After what felt like centuries, Natsu pulled himself back and separated their lips. After looking into each other’s eyes, Natsu was the one to break the silence.

“So… how was it? I think that was pretty good, wasn’t it?”

Natsu happily stated with a bright smile on his face.

“Well, usually you don’t stick your tongue inside the patient’s mouth”

“Wha-?!”

Natsu completely blushed when he realized what he had just done. Now that she mentioned it, the string of saliva when they separated, and the faint taste of strawberry cheesecake. No wonder he didn’t want to let go of her until he had to grasp for air himself. One small mistake that made this moment to one of the most unforgettable ever. This probably went a bit further than First Aid.

“Looks like we have to train a couple more times so that you don’t make the same mistake when it gets serious”

“… Aye”

Boy are u just goin’ down the list or WHAT but ummm I suppose...? It’s alright. Has its ups and ...real bad downs, but I try not to dwell on it. TY meds!

As if you don’t know omfg. I’m a sucker for the cool, suave types. Sweet, kind heart, mmmm, idk, generally along those lines. I love confidence and someone who can balance me out.

I can be, but not typically. I don’t like to be dishonest!

LMAO OF COURSE? Too many times. My worst I think was when my ex bf saw my sketchbook after a fight and it was uhhhhhhhhhhh fucked up to say the least and then he walked out on me and we never spoke again! :)

Ahhh maybe a new apartment/condo or put it towards new tattoos I want or use it for trips when I need but overall I’d put most in savings I’d think so it depends on the amount.

All these answers gonna make me sound like I’ve got the biggest fuckin’ superiority complex but IT’S NOT BIG I PROMISE OMG but I find people boring when they’re really basic, like don’t have any unique interests or their interests are extremely limited to like 1 or 2 things. Uh, people bore me when they think they’re really deep and smart but they just relay basic wisdom or things that are, like, common sense. People also bore me when they’re a mega downer all the time, like I mean ALL the time. It’s draining. I care about you but I’m not your therapist, get some professional help if you feel the need to cry every day to your friends I’m js. (I’m sorry that’s harsh af but it’s real tea and I’m saying this as someone who struggles with their own mental illnesses too!!) It’s okay to confide in your friends and be open with them and stuff but if you literally do nothing but whine whenever you talk to them then you need to work on that, fam

😨 What is your worst fear?

Spiders! I have terrible arachnophobia. I’ve had friends in the past think it’s funny to send spider pictures and shit to me for a laugh but that shit’s not funny. That’s not very yandere-themed though so I guess moreso on that theme my worst fear is really.. rejection, I think. Kinda dumb tbh but I get discouraged veryyyy easily.

😳 What makes you blush?

When people I like flatter me with compliments ;w; despite my pretty low self-esteem I still really appreciate them and feeling the love makes me all warm and fluffy inside.

💔 Have you ever broken someone’s heart?

Yes, but only because they broke mine first and I had to do what was right in order to mend my own broken heart. (It wasn’t a petty matter of “you did it first so here’s my revenge” type thing)

💖 Have you ever met another yandere in real life?

I think so? I have met someone that said they love the aesthetic but I’m not sure if they identify with the trope. I have seen and met people that have displayed big dick yandere behaviour though, but :^) Tbh I think it’s best if yanderes avoid other yanderes when it comes to intimate relationships especially.

💞 Are you the type for multiple crushes?

I’m being called out... Yes, I am. Not many, but a few yeah. Nothing that would cause me to make the stupid choice of cheating on my committed partner though. I don’t have multiple partners because my partner and I have agreed to keep our relationship monogamous, but I do certainly feel people are very much capable of loving more than one person romantically as well!

❣ What makes you snap?

Augh this is tricky to answer because my seriously bad snapping involves me going dead silent and becoming extremely cold. I stare at nothingness and my mind feels like a static TV screen and words like “bitter” and “this isn’t fair” ring through my mind and I just prefer to hide away when that happens. That’s kind of moreso dealing with trauma though I think, like, fresh trauma. Outwardly snapping though, uh, when I’m accused of lying that tends to piss me off as honesty is a very important thing to me. There are other smaller things but I can’t really think of them at the moment.

💥 Have you ever been in a fight?

Not a physical one, no. Verbal and online? Quite a few times, mostly all in the past though. I try not to engage in physical fights because I feel like it’s beneath me... and also I’m weak af lbr

👠 Do you like fancy dates?

I do!! I really love to dress up! I feel my best when I look my best, I think. I love all sorts of dates though of course! Most of the time my preference for a date is just watching a movie on the couch and eating hahah

👑 How would you like to be treated?

Like a queen~ or a princess. uwu I’m a diva, I know. I love to be treated like something magical and intoxicating; it makes me high. If I like you? Smother me with affection - in different languages though! (Mostly not physical/sexual tbh!) As egotistical and selfish this answer is, it’s an honest one. Aside from that though, I just want to be treated with compassion and respect like anyone else?

This has an awfully long tie in my inbox. Came in around November, I’m calculating. I apologize, and I also thank you greatly for your patience! I hope you’re still around ;w;

This entry came in when I shared some posts about Omega!Gladio that @gladioflowerchild posted. It’s from them that I first even thought about the possibility of Gladio being an Omega in an ABO verse. Check their posts! Tags Omega!Gladio, of course ヽ(・ω・)ﾉ I’m pretty sure many of what I list down below have already been pointed in their posts, because they basically summed it up pretty well, but I’ll write my own list, see what pops up.

Also, do note I’m not very well versed into ABO verse (didn’t even know it existed until I found this fandom), so I may be missing so many possibilities and things to imagine.

This is A/B/O dynamics, so if you don’t like, please do not read.

Omega!Gladio headcanons:

He’s the ‘typical’ “Omega that everyone mistakes for an Alpha”.

EXCEPT not at all.

This happens with most people…except Clarus always knew Gladio was an Omega.

Toddler Gladio was already making his nests, partly imitating Mama (his omega figure, instead of imitating papa, his alpha figure) and partly because he just wanted to.

Toddler Gladio could spend an hour arranging his plushies and toys and blankets in his crib or in his play mats until it was perfect.

He would usually bring Clarus to show him and he would look for his approval and praise.

Toddler Gladio, when alone, also played to be a parent.

With other children he played tag and hide and seek and normal things, but when he was given the chance with other kids or when he was alone, he could cradle a teddy bear and lullaby it to sleep, would take care of his moogles, play dad with his plushies.

A very typical omega behavior; his omega-parent instincts showing through what he likes to play.

Even when playing with other kids, if one fell or got injured, Gladio was always first to go look after them and treated them like a good Omega parent.

So, at least for Clarus, it was always pretty clear that little-not-so-little Gladio would be Omega.

Did Clarus have any troubles with that? Nah. He adores his son whatever dynamic.

Clarus aside, everyone thinks Gladio a natural alpha; he’s always taller and bigger than the average, and he’s scary when he wants to.

Instead of shying away, he dares smack other kids if they’re picking on other kids, so everyone thinks this little ball of growls is going to be an alpha.

It doesn’t help that he grows as a skyscrapper-tall and super muscled tough guy; everyone always assumes he’s an alpha.

Luckily, this is actually great help for Gladio; no other alphas mess with him like they would mess with other omegas, for example. Also, the omegas are super comfy around him even if they mistake him for an alpha, because their senses, even if subconsciously, tell them they’re with an omega friend so they’re safe; this helps to keep unwanted alphas away of the omega friends that don’t want to get close to an alpha.

This usually makes of Gladio a great escort when one of his other omega friends go into heat in public; with Gladio walking them to their place or somewhere to be alone, other alphas assume that the Omega in heat already has an alpha so they stay away.

Like, they don’t even stop to smell that that’s two Omegas; they think that the one in heat is just very bad into it, but don’t take the time to notice that it’s actually two different smells, because they look away when they see who they mistake for an Alpha.

But speaking about this, and agreeing with gladioflowerchild, Gladio’s actually not ashamed of his dynamic nor does he lie about it.

You ask him, he answers like you’d ask for his horoscope sign or age; naturally, like it’s nothing, or even proudly.

It’s super rare to find an Omega with his looks; a big and tough guy. But, hey, he didn’t choose, don’t question him.

Gladio had troubles when he built his first serious nest.

The ones he made as a toddler were just his attempts to call the attention of his Alpha dad to be spoiled or to call the attention of Omega mama to make her proud.

But the first serious one? He had big troubles with it.

The necessity of his first nest hit him when he was fourteen.

Fourteen year old Gladio doesn’t fit in the closet.

He tried to make it under the bed, but it just wasn’t right.

He tried on the bed, but it was “too exposed”.

He tried leaving his room but he felt anxious about making his nest somewhere that wasn’t his room.

He even tried to find a spot in the gardens but he grew anxious that someone would notice.

He tried in the bathroom, but grew anxious anyone would walk in.

He tried in the closet again and again every time he tried another spot, because it just seemed the safest and most correct place, but he doesn’t fit comfortable in there.

Gladio tried to use one of the closets that are in the hallway, where the family keeps blankets and such.

Gladio put everything outside to put his own stuff inside, but ended up taking everything out again because even though he spent two or three hours arranging the nest, it just didn’t feel right.

His mom noticed how anxious Gladio had been all day, and Gladio ended up cuddled up against her, in her bed, that she tried to make as comfy as possible for Gladio.

Clarus walked in and had a wordless conversation with her; he understood Gladio was going through a first pre-heat of sorts and was in the mighty necessity of a nest, but they had no idea why he had found no appropriate place for it.

It was until Clarus found the mess of a closet that Gladio made that he understood.

Clarus ended up helping Gladio to rearrange his room so that it felt different, sort of new without taking away its familiarity, and Gladio found peace in making a nest in a corner close to the bed’s new space.

Gladio doesn’t take plush toys with him; he brings blankets, pillows, and sometimes flowers.

They make him happy, don’t question him.

Gladio may grow a bit embarrassed just of how long he takes to build his nests.

He really wants his nests to be good, but if someone is watching he does get a bit embarrassed by thinking they’re judging how long he’s taking.

However, he’s not embarrassed of building the nest as in the action itself.

He even will ask his mate to help him (sweetie, can you please pass me that cushion? I borrowed your shirt, is that fine?) or for advice; “do you think that’s enough?”, “should I add (X)?”, even though he always ends up doing what he wants.

Not embarassed at all, unless he feels he’s taking too long.

Gladio will have much more of his mate’s stuff in his nests than stuff of his own.

This is a hopeless romantic, leave him alone.

Gladio is the kind of cuddly Omega.

His partner, whether Beta or Alpha, isn’t going to be free of the cuddles.

If the cuddles were a thing, his nest would be full of them.

You have to cuddle him when he’s feeling sick/sad/stressed or pre/post-heat, YOU HAVE TO CUDDLE HIM.

All the cuddles. He needs and wants all the cuddles.

Pamper him and spoil him. The man may be the size of a small house, but he needs all the pampering int he world.

HE LIVES FOR IT. He likes to be talked softly and sweetly to, adores cuddling, enjoys of his mate’s praises.

Omega!Gladio finds it difficult to find a mate.

Omegas are naturally not attracted to him (nor is he attracted to other omegas).

When alphas catch he’s an omega, it’s rare to find a partner, because 99% of the alphas aren’t comfortable with an omega that’s much bigger and taller and stronger than them.

Alphas want to feel in dominance; it’s difficult to feel that dominance when this omega could easily crush their skull with one hand.

His best go is betas. Betas are super nice to him :)

I mean, so are many alphas (due to their want to woo an omega), but in the end it’s never worked with many of them (so far).

Alphas are always looking for a small and timid omega; Gladio’s the entire opposite.

Omega!Gladio makes the best omega papa ever.

He has his omega instincts of absolute loving care for his pups, but can also defend them like an alpha.

And not like his partner isn’t protective; it’s just that a protective Omega would already go distances for their pups, but an omega with an alpha physic? Best omega papa ever, he’s like both alpha and omega all in one.

Speaking of pups, Gladio is the most loving of omegas ever.

He’s the omega prototype; he dreams of having his own pups and he wants to dedicate his life to his mate, his pups, and his family, marriage, etc.

Just because he’s not a blushing shy schoolboy doesn’t mean he doesn’t behave like an omega because BOY DOES HE.

He’s the cuddliest of partners and loves fiercely and cutely.

He also adores cuddling his pups.

The taller the person that can get pregnant is, the easier it is for pregnancy (because there’s plenty space for the baby there).

So you can tell Gladio is a very good choice for an omega!

As tall as he is, he can carry with babies and have much less risk of pregnancy difficulties! :3

If his mate agrees to it, Gladio would really LOVE to have multiple pups.

HE JUST…ADORES KIDS SO MUCH, YOU DON’T HAVE AN IDEA.

Gladio has some troubles to handle himself during heats (when he has no mate); someone so massive needs some very hard dedication to get through the heats, and they usually get to him very badly.

With time he learns how to best handle himself, so that’s okay.

With how hard the heats hit him, you can tell there may be a bit of a mess of slick and sweat on the bedsheets, even worse when he has a partner than can please him better than he can do it himself.

That’s okay, he’s an expert on laundry by now ;w;

Gladio’s scent is quite powerful.

It tends to confuse the alphas that mistake him by another alpha; their nose is telling them “Geez, there’s an omega that’s smelling pretty damn good right now, you should try and woo them”, but they look around and ?? where?

This is more of a vantage than a problem; that way, when his heats hit in a not very good moment or place, Gladio usually has it easy to leave before any unwanted alphas lie eyes on him.

1. What kind of food can't you stand? Spicy food, food that has a really strong milk-taste, and any seafood or meat that are uncooked or not fully cooked.

2. If you could choose one minor inconvenience to never have to deal with again, what would you pick? Never having to check if there are any toilet paper left in the roll holder again. My sis likes to use it all up and freaking leave the cardboard tube on top of the tank lid when there are new ones literally three feet away ._.

17. Do you consider yourself to be more of a slob or a neat-freak? Uh, sorta both? I do organise my stuff neatly, having a place for every item to find them more easily. But I also have a bad habit of hoarding, which leads to a bit of mess in a corner of my room to clear up every once in a while ^^;

18. Describe a place (imaginary or real) that you would find incredibly cozy On my bed, furled beneath the blanket and hugging my pillows. Alternatively, sitting all curled up on my comfy mesh chair and having a towel or hoodie draped over my shoulders and legs like I’m doing now. I can get cosy anywhere that I feel safe at/with tho.

Nah, while nothing compares to that first experience, neither does the second or third rerun through nostalgia and familiar moments compare to anything else either. There's usually something new I'd discover in rereads too, whether it's something I missed the first time or how my thoughts have changed about certain moments or places.

Reading, drawing, playing video games, writing, watching anime, looking at the sky, collecting stamps and old coins & foreign dollar notes and owl motifs, surfing the internet, archiving, and various other activities that hold my attention every once in a while (like folding origami, baking, voluntary work, DIY projects, etcetra).

What drew you to this character? | lookie here: i loooooove the dynamic of the witches, the idea of each as an aspect of fate. cinead, the all-seeing, bears down the judgement of the past; hea, all-hearing, plays the fickle strings of the heart and mind as they shift in the present; and mallory, all-knowing, dances with fate, swapping secrets like gossiping old friends. each transcends the concept of the individual, but each is incomplete without the others. they’re delightfully enigmatic, and i love me a good mind screw.

i think that the thing that draws me to mallory in particular is their caprice, and their capacity for more. when you read mallory’s bio in tandem with their siblings’, you (or i, at least lol) definitely get the feeling that they’re the baby of the family. the siblings are cold and they are no exception, but underneath the facade of ice lies a deceptive blue flame—one so hot it burns you frozen, one that changes direction with the lightest breath of the wind. they seem to be more impulsive than their siblings (i mean seriously they just…..went out and won the lotto, nbd), but you can’t help but wonder: are they merely whimsical, or working toward some grander scheme? maybe it’s just because i have an undying love for meta, but i feel like it’d be such fun to play a character consistently a step removed from the present, eyes always flicking around the scenery because ultimately, it is not the individuals that matter, but what they do with themselves��how they leave a mark on the world.

What is a future plot idea you have in mind for the character? |

mallory’s relationships with hector and clark fascinate me in that, imo, despite being completely different in sentiment, they both stem from the men staunchly denying fate. my interpretation of mallory is one who believes strongly in fate, and the contrast between them is one that i’d like to see play out. they will not meddle with the fates of the men who meddle with fate, no matter how much they itch to, but i want them to do so. bring the god down to the level of mere mortals. make them give into their whims and engage with the world.

It is a beautiful evening, the type that romantics write poetry over and lovers meet under. The sun paints a cascading orange against the sky, pulsing the last vestiges of light before it inevitably falls into bed with the shadows chasing it. And Mallory walks to work.

The heels of their shoes—four inch wedges, sensible for crossing cobblestones—glide soundlessly across the streets of Verona, leaving no trace of their owner behind. They walk languidly, confidently; their siblings are conducting business elsewhere, but their only responsibility for the evening is to prepare the Twelfth Night for the night. There is no rush. There rarely ever is.

And so, when a man approaches them, face alight with the reluctant, cautious awe characteristic of arrogant men humbled by proper power, they allow him to speak.

“Please,” he says, begs, “read my fortune. I’ll give you anything—anything!—I just…I think something bad may have happened, and I need to know what’s coming next.”

The only indication that they heard the man is in the single, perfectly-groomed brow that raises at his plea. The man certainly looks a mess, clothes rumpled and sweat beading on his brow. Mallory is unmoved by his appeal to their ethos.

But, admittedly, they are intrigued. Desperation is an endearingly human trait, one that Mallory finds almost charming.

Their head inclines, feline in its judgement. “Though yours…your selfishness shall be caused by suffering.” They sigh. “How dull,” they say, more to themself than the man, shaking their head in disappointment. “If that is all, I shall take my leave.”

Mallory rises, and turns to walk back to their intended destination.

“W-wait!” The man calls to their back. “I can’t…I…You have the power to help me, right? I…I want to make a deal with you!”

Mallory pauses. Smirks. It seems they now have an appointment for the evening.
