The problem with fandom juggernaut pairings is that they can create an echo chamber that is so large they start to see everything about the ship and the most common fanon surrounding it as canon, to a point that not only excludes basically anyone who isn't obsessed with the ship, but also seems to make them think they are exempt from any criticism because lmao it's basically canon!
