Nahh, there aren't any elements of their world being a show or a Y/N and/or neighbor that Wally talks too. Its just the neighbors and their world is very real to them! :0

I don't have any plans for anyone to find out Home is alive.. but if anyone ever did, Wally, Eddie and Barnaby would be good candidates. Wally because he lives there and is pretty sensitive to Home's energy. Eddie because he is very sensitive to homes energy.. and Barnaby, because he's really close to Wally and is looking in on this situation with a clear and level head. Perhaps he would notice things that Eddie and Wally are too scatterbrained to notice..

Also yes! :0 Home cannot speak and is limited to onomatopoeias!

I'd like to think my Wally is capable of learning new dances, but he's just not particularly interested.. <XD so yeah! Only the mashed potato for my Wally too XDD

I have a few in mind for surprising skills! My Barnaby is surprisingly good at sewing! He learned it from his mama 🥺💞💞 Julie is- well, to the surprise of the neighbors at least- really good at making campfires from scratch and other outdoorsy things! :0 And lastly, Eddie is known for being clumsy and forgetful.. but surprisingly he has fantastic handwriting. Beautiful cursive, perfectly spaced out, perfect punctuation, never smudges, all the "I"s are dotted and every "T" is crossed. He never has to erase and never spells anything wrong! Eddie doesn't know how he got so good at it.. Its just always been like that he says. hmm..

Technically Barnaby would feel the most comfortable around Wally, since they're best friends an all.. :0 But no one is uncomfortable around Wally due to his sleepy behaviors! The neighbors mostly feel pity for the poor guy.. it cant be fun to never get a good nights sleep..

I cant really remember the stories of Stitch and Thumbalina that well... but I'd say it might be more like Stitch..? <XD Sally was super excited to explore everything and go everywhere. So she was quite the handful! Like I think Stitch was..?

7: How much of a jokester is Barnaby, has he ever gone too far with his jokes? What's his go to for lifting the spirits of his neighbors?

Barnaby is a Sans level jokester XDD Fitting puns and jokes into almost every other sentence! But thankfully he's rather observant and doesn't ever go too far. He knows what jokes are and are not appropriate to say around certain neighbors. He also can tell if its a good or bad time to crack a joke.. when it comes to lifting the spirits of his neighbors.. his go-to will depend on the neighbor. For Howdy, Julie or Eddie, he just needs a few good jokes with maybe a sprinkle of life advice in there to get them smiling again.

For Poppy or Wally, his go-to is usually to talk to them rather seriously and figure out what's wrong..

If Poppy is upset, it usually because she's anxious about something. So Barnaby will try to figure out what's wrong so he can help her fix the problem or maybe comfort her if its worry over nothing..

If Wally is visibly upset, usually that means something is really wrong.. Barnaby probably wont let up in until he figures out what happened and is able to help his poor buddy..

8: Does Julie love games just as much here? If so, how strict is she with the rules of them? Especially safety rules. Does she create new games often or stick with the same couple and occasionally introduce new ones as the current ones become less fun?

I'd like to think that my Julie loves games too! :)) She is lenient on any and all rules if all the other players agree to it. In a way changing the rules creates a whole new game! But safety rules are no breakers! Gotta keep her friends safe after all! And I think Julie only switches it up and tries new games once her neighbors are bored with the current selection :00

9: How much of a bug lover is Frank?

Well considering my Frank moved to this neighborhood specifically so he could study and live alongside all the creepy crawlies there.. I'd says he loves them with all his heart! XDDD (Also never call them creepy crawlies around Frank, he hates that!)

10: What is your current idea for Sally? More gremlin or fancy? Maybe a bit of both, reserving all her self-control for the stage?

Right now I'm resisting the urge to make her a 100% chaotic gremlin <XDD Since I don't know if that fits her canon character very well.. I'm leaning more towards a passionate and sassy theater kid atm 🤣🤣🤣

Random Dot analysis:

The interesting thing about Dottore is that while the most popular fanon about him is that his underlings fear him, canonically it's the complete opposite.

He deadass has an army of simps working for him, I had never ran into a Fatui NPC that has expressed fear about him, and instead they speak about him in reverence.

The most obvious one is during the AQ where a fatui agent expressed disappointment upon realising that Dottore would be leaving Sumeru soon, saying that he had only seen the lord once.

And it seems that Dottore actually talks to his subordinates often, especially when in the same conversation, the agents (who didn't know about the segment's existence thus not realising that they spoke to different versions of the Doctor) casually compared how their conversations went, one said that Dottore was dismissive while the other said he was all smiles.

The people who work for him are ridiculously dedicated, the fungi event with that one guy who for some reason - thought that a device that controls fungi would impress Dottore, he did all that to earn his recognition. (It would have been more impressive if the device controlled literally ANYTHING besides fungi, but eh whatever) Note: The guy has said in CN expressively something along the lines of "beloved/dear" lord, not the direct translation but it was affectionate.

Then there's that one dude who stayed behind after the (failed) aranara lure experiments, I don't remember much about him but I don't think he said anything bad about Dottore, other than saying that he had stayed behind because he felt responsibility to take care of the kids after subjecting them into a mission like that.

Cut to the two Fatui peeps on Mondstadt who gush about him after the Sumeru quest, and I'm pretty sure we met another fatui dude in the desert who decided to go against orders and go the extra mile of attempting to kidnap desert dwellers to present as test subjects to again - impress Dottore. I think this was a Jeht quest?

Oh, and in the manwha, it's briefly mentioned that Dottore does reward efforts handsomely.

Tldr:

Fanon - Dottore is cruel, he terrifies everyone who works under him and they always walk around eggshells with him.

Canon: Dottore gives high reward for efforts, he has too many simps that sings him praises and they're literally scrambling to be in the same room as him.

Conclusion, we need more dottore simps in fan content. Because not only is it more accurate, but its also funnier for Dottore to be followed by a hoard of fans.

of course, we ALSO have the deal he made, which was brought up briefly in episode 5, and 8

and there i s kind of a funky little debate on who the deal was with, and what it was for, but the two main cantidates are lilith, and roo

and who knows what lilith/roo makes him do, even? ...okay, aside from lilith/roo, who would be the ones making him do things-

i dont know, theres not alot i can say on this matter other than its most likely alastor made a deal with either lilith or roo to save his power or something, and briefly bring up the fact that he probably does have to do some things here and there, and the fact that if it i s lilith he made the deal with, she probably sent him to help out with the hotel, maybe, i dont know

WHEWWWW OKAY THEN lets get in to some of his behaviours that are n o t at ALL good or normal, the way he treats husk and reacts to him 'caring' about his 'friends' wooo yayyyyy

alright, for the last bit of this post, i think we should discuss the fact that he always smiles

we DO know that one of the reasons is that, to him atleast, a smile is a valuable tool, that keeps your friends inspired, and your enemys guessing, and always ensures YOU'RE the one in control

but its HEAVILY implied in this image that there is another reason,

if you observe close enough (not really that close, but hey who has perfect eyesight not me) you can see it looks like his mouth is stitched, and even more so to be literally always smiling so theres a possibility that either lilith or roo is ALSO forcing him to smile

then again it could just be something about him literally not being able to talk about his deal, which is also plausible

...or thats just what he looks like idk im not here to judge his fashion choices

Hi, thanks for answering my questions. I have tons of them mha is a gold mine for "learn what not to do in a story"

Izu gets absolutely no credit and...I want to talk about smth. The cleaning beach episode.

"Heroes dont do good deeds to seek rewards" is a fine lesson. It has its merit and I do like the whole idea.

My issues goes to

1) AM didn't notice anything odd about Izu? How he views himself or act? Again, not saying AM should read his mind nor investigate every lil thing but sure having a talk about "why you want to be a hero" could lead to am learning Izu's self steem issues.

2) Heroes do get credit! They do their jobs sure but at the end of day "wow thanks hero" can be heard. Why Izu cant get credit for cleaning the beach? (According the wiki it became a point for romance)

3) I do like the cleaning beach. I do. But how menaged to attract no one's attention? A kid comes from the beach for 10 months and cleaned up all on himself. People would be impressed.(wanna show how humble your character is? Make him interact with fame)

4)it open a pattern. Izu can split the ocean and people would ignore. Bk does nothing and people will fawn over it.

The list goes on and on but why Izu cant get any credit or reconigtion and became the butt of a joke.

Funny bc...AM has fame. He is the #1 and he wanted Izu to follow his steps...(I totally get why there AM bashing) but at the same time, he does nothing for his heir.

No problem, I love answering asks! (sorry for the wait with this one)

1. As much as I love All Might, he isn't always as on top of things as he should be especially concerning Izuku. Could be a lot of reasons for this, but I think it really boils down to the smile through it mentality that he takes on. He thinks that because Izuku keeps the smile on that he's strong enough to handle whatever issues he's facing on his own. A toxic mentality for sure. He should have been more vigilant and it's 100% valid to criticize him for it. BUT in his defense he seems to be a lot more aware during and after Dark Deku (one of the only bright spots of that arc). He loosens on that thinking a little bit and tries his best to support Izuku the best ways he knows how. I think this was also the arc when he realized how that mentality was negatively affecting Izuku, like when he ran off.

2. I certainly think Izuku should have gotten credit! Not necessarily immediate praise or recognition. But it would have been nice if some of his classmates discovered it and started complimenting it. Could have made for a very sweet moment.

3. It's definitely odd how no one noticed. Maybe because no one went near the beach do to it being so dirty? Maybe they were training super early in the morning when no one was awake? Idk.

4. Best example of this is the Sludge Villain. Bakugou panicked and made the situation worse with his quirk and got praised for it. Izuku was the only one who even tried to help the situation and got reprimanded for it. Double standards I guess

Cabby has shown an impressively high attention to detail. Cabby is quite resourceful and seems to rely on her files primarily for references. Cabby is also very protective of her files, as seen in "The Shame of the Name", as she scolds Fan for stealing a file of hers, but claims she will happily give out information if asked 📏 THATS SO ME BUT IF THE FILES WERE MY IPAD/NOTEBOOK (the notebook Is for when I’m at school/somewhere I can’t take my iPad ^^)

This is most apparent in "Best Served Cold" when she tries to manipulate Test Tube into voting for Silver Spoon, but the plan backfires as Test Tube shares the files from her to her teammates, revealing that she writes down contestants' flaws, seemingly in an attempt to get them eliminated, which eventually causes her downfall and she is eliminated. 📏 Replace files with my iPad/notebook, and replace Fan with my siblings and parents.. I CANT. ITS MINE MINE MINE, ONLY MINE. (I am not that selfish… trusrts me ^u^”)

Cabby starts to overcompensate, trying to become more of a team player and get closer to her teammates by offering her files out more freely and bringing her former team together into a new alliance. 📏 A girl “BFF” that we trusted then suddenly got backstabbed, thrown away.. and after a very good friendship dynamic and how we were just so perfect together.. hmmm.. then has a whole new personality shift, much more social anxiety, worry, and guilt.. HMMMMMM…

It is revealed that Cabby has a form of short-term memory loss. She states that as soon as she writes something down, it's as good as gone. Cabby uses her files as an aid for her memories, due to not being able to remember things herself. This is apparently so extreme that in Spring on the Breakfast!, she admits that she cannot even remember her own parents and is clearly struggling and sweating in pain whenever she tries. 📏 In my case, it’s me over sharing my life, overdoing gifts and such, just genuinely being much more kinder and clingy.. worried about losing someone or something this important to me..

In the episode Spring On The Breakfast! when Bot asks Cabby what her parents were like, Cabby states that she doesn't really know. She tries to remember their faces but "it hurts a lot". 📏 NOW THIS. THIS SCREAMS ME. (EVEN THOUGH IDK IF I HAVE SHORT TERM MEMORY LOSS) My memory has gotten worse and worse, (or at least that’s what I think) to the point I can’t even remember anyone’s faces! I can only recognize it, never imagine or remember it in my mind or head.. and while I try to remember anything that I’ve forgotten I do tend to get sweaty and exhausted, getting headaches and such..

Cabby is the second contestant to end with a "-y" suffix 📏 If nobody has noticed my names, mostly they end in a “Y” ish sound! Pebie, Xue (zui or zu), Kenzie, Harley (my old roblox username) LIKE HONESTLY..

So in conclusion.. does that make me a Cabby kin? Probably! I see way too many things that I relate to! Ever since cabby tried to befriend the contestants and FAILING MISERABLY, I was one of the few who really under why she did so, EVERYONE HATED HER FOR IT, and it made me so angry. It was as if.. you were saying that to me. And so I posted this comment in Pinterest a LONG WHILE AGOOO, When the episode of her being villianized came out!

i was trying to find something twilight mirage and specifically signet related but i keep just reading bits of transcripts and going man tm was so fucking good huh

He ruffles his wings in the breeze, and underneath the black, you catch the smallest glimpse of those iridescent scales.

Ever so gently, you take the edge of his wing between your fingers, keeping your eyes on his face; his own eyes are trained on your hand, but he doesn’t move as you lift his wing higher, unfolding it until his scales catch the moonlight.

This post isn't to like...make you hate Dylan less btw, its more just me looking into these two characters interactions more after having to restart the game three or four times from it corrupting my saves.

In the Wiki's words on Adrian's page it says "Adrian is brothers with Dylan. It is likely that they have a good relationship, as they seem to get along and agree with each other.", but listen, I know a shitty strained relationship between siblings when I see one. At no point do Dylan or Adrian properly agree with each other. They agree, but its never a full agreement on either side. Theres always that feeling of "somethings not right here" between them.

Example A: Adrian not understanding anything about Hypnospace itself, and putting the pressure on Dylan to get rid of areas Dylan himself probably has some enjoyment in, being who he is. Reading these messages sucks. Seeing how Adrian acts dismissive about Dylan's worry sucks. Roddy is Dylan's friend at this time, together working on their passion project "Outlaw", Roddy is one of the "geeks" in these zones, and Adrian requesting the zones be removed and murged ultimately makes Roddy think this is Dylan's fault exclusively :/

Dylan not wanting to rat out Adrian making this choice (I guess??) is forced to lie to Roddy about the whole situation, notice how hes dismissive like Adrian was earlier about it at the end.

Dylan didn't wholly agree to this choice, he seemed more upset about it if anything.

Example B: Adrian instantly assumes that Dylan is going against him in some way when Dylan comes to him about the medical info they had done privately. And as a way to defend himself, Dylan dismisses it (much like his brother would) and says it doesn't matter.

What frustrates me about this, is that theres no way Adrian isnt aware Dylan spends near 18 hrs working both outside of and in Hypnospace. (Ignore that it says hes 99, Dylan is 21)

Dylan is one of those many people who probably uses the headband frequently. Theyre both adults, but Adrian is older, and should know better than to fuel his brother's unhealthy habits like that. Especially when Adrian is piling so much onto Dylan over time. Which leads us to the next point.

Example C: Adrian fueling Dylan's ever growing unhealthy obsession for this game just because he wants their tech to "Look Good" despite it already looking pretty great for its time period.

On top of this, Dylan isnt only working on Outlaw, but also working on the Enforcer thing as well, with also handling all the back lash of people being upset when the zones are merged ontop of doing all the coding for this place at least 60% of the time because Roddy left due to what happened and Dylan put Samantha on the Enforcer team so he cluld focuse on Outlaw leaving him as the group's only coder. Dylan spiraled into an awful spot because his brother fuled this. His brother manipulated him into his own way of thining. Outlaw became less of a passion project and more something Dylan wanted to get done because Adrian wanted it to be done so it would make the business look good.

All Adrian cares about is looking good and the money they're getting out of it, he could clearly care less about the work overload and mental stress hes constantly dropping onto his brother. He couldn't give a rats ass if Dylan disagreed with him because in the end Dylan will always agree because Dylan wants to make his brother proud wants his approval and it causes Dylan's downfall.

Adrian doesn't even bother to ask Dylan if hes okay when he snaps at Samantha, but sides with the fact that he just practically blew up on her over the stress and frustration of everything. Doesn't tell him to take a break, doesn't offer help like siblings sometimes should, just agrees "Yes we need to get this game out soon as possible."

Hypnospace was Dylan's passion project, it was Dylan's dream and Dylan's idea.

Adrian doesn't care and Dylan doesn't get along with him. They do not have a good relationship. They have a bad relationship built on lies and manipulation. Adrian doesn't care about Dylan's dreams or feelings or anything.

Adrian is just as much to blame for the Mindcrash as Dylan is, and should have been arrested as well.

oh vampire, a dear OG in the game’s history. he may not be the most emotionally complex or lore-heavy character, but he’s still a little skrunkly to many a player. i think what i like most about him is what fans have made him into. in the games, hes honestly just??? a guy. hes just a dude who loves his juice and annoys his tryhard sister. i like that he’s so simple, and i also like that like... the fact that he’s a vampire isnt really a HUGE impacting factor on who he is as a person. like hes lazy and apathetic and lowkey an alcoholic that JUST SO HAPPENS to also be a vampire. i think thats really funny. 

then theres the fandom side of him. in-game, i like that hes pretty two-dimensional, but god DAMN the fandom has some slappin’ interpretations of him. ugh ugh ugh UGHHHH I LOVE IT WHEN PEOPLE TAKE HIM AND MAKE HIM SO MUCH DEEPER!!!!!! like usually i hate it when an obviously static comic-relief character is put through the “edgy backstory” wringer BUT WITH VAMP ITS ALWAYS SO GOOD AND JUICY YES GIVE ME MOREEE

i also just love that according to his description, mans was content to just die in the oven because he was already drunk when he was baked. and his lines/delivery is kingdom is fucking GODLY. i want to BE him. hes unaware of everything. mans just out here having the time of his life and getting blackout drunk. god i want to hang out with him so fucking bad. 100% on my dream blunt rotation.

dark enchantress is a special case. like, deep down i know i have a lot of thoughts about her, but those thoughts are still kinda coalescing into introspection of who she is.

i cant help but feel like a lot of people interpret her wrong. DE isnt a wholly evil and morally bankrupt character (at least in kingdom, that is. ovenbreak is a bit of a different story bc of the context/lack thereof) and im tired of people treating her like she is!!!!!!!! shes probably like one of the deepest fucking characters in the game and grrr i wanna tear her apart and study her in a lab. i want to put her in  a maze with cheese at the end of it. i want to put a little brainwave sensor on her head and show her a selection of varying photographs and ask her what she thinks of each of them.

i just.... god every story update i hope and pray that she has a part to play in it. seriously the vanilla kingdom chapters are my fucking favorite because we learn so much about her in so little time. shes NOT this completely and utterly evil being just like white lily was not a wholly good and angelic figure. they both had their flaws but white lily when white lily was rebaked the flaws that she had were just amplified tenfold. or at least thats my theory on what happened there. DEs motivations are directly derived from those that she had as white lily, those being a desire to help cookie kind. its that whole right desire wrong reasons shpeal you always see.

okay but the one thing about her is why exactly is she waging war on cookies to “save cookies”????????? i dont exactly get the reasoning behind that. like i know she wants to rebuild the world in her image but i guess i dont quite get how that connects to her wanting to spread the truth about cookies. my only theory is that shes mad at the ignorance of cookiekind and that she wants everyone up in arms over the witches just like she is, but i still dont see why shes actively killing cookies to achieve this goal??? idk maybe i need to read into it more lol

lesbiphobia on the lgbta+ wiki

we need to talk about the biased and childish behavior of the lgbta+ wiki admins. i've mentioned the lesbian page and its recent issues before (although admittedly not that in-depth yet - [X] [X]) but it only got worse and i'm so fucking angry that i'm shaking. long post. let's go.

i'll firstly start by acknowledging that they removed the male lesbians section. i'm thankful and it's a start but it's the bare minimum and lesbians still have a right to be hurt and upset.

addressing how comments get addressed (made by content mod reign of the breadsticcs in these cases):

keeping it simple: they don't. not well, at least. but obviously i'm gonna go more in-depth with examples:

1)

i hadn't even noticed this in the article at first but i am beyond pissed off at the implied priority here. shadesystem has already laid out everything for me with the subtle "you may identify as a lesbian if you want, but just know that, like, you're not really one if you don't like men or aren't a man" which is pretty much what that says right between the lines!

mspec lesbians have not just breached our label and twisted it in a harmful way at this point. i've always hated them but i thought at least that they'd recognize that they're only borrowing our label to emphasize a bias in attraction - as it turns out, they've now gone so far in that direction that they're now telling Real lesbians who lack attraction to men that they do not qualify for the label. we've been kicked out of our own label. i'll expand a little more on this under the next screenshot but i'm beyond disgusted and i completely understand op's hurt.

i can read for myself that the mod apologized for that statement and removed it, but that's not good enough, especially since it was so short, unsympathetic, and half-assed. it almost sounds sarcastic, even. not to mention all the damage this wiki causes and has caused, knowing that they're seen as such a huge and well-known source of information among the entire online lgbta+ community. i can't and won't be accepting that apology anytime soon.

next i wanna talk about the points made in this post and debunk them; to say i'm displeased with everything i’m about to unpack here would be an understatement. they were so dismissive and condescending to lotions and although that's less important, i can't say it gives them a good look over there.

"this has always been the label. the parties separated because of harmful exclusionism. they're commonly seen as separate because of harmful exclusionism. that's not a valid reason to try and keep them separated."

this mod is so uninformed it hurts. do they not realize that the reason why we're separated is because bi sapphics WANTED to be seen as their own group with their own experiences, which are different from lesbians but still remain in solidarity? had we not listened to their voices, they Would still be the same thing. bi women would be considered lesbians and that would definitively be considered bi erasure and by extenstion, biphobia.

the other thing with their comment is the implication that "harmful exclusionism" is the reason why we're no longer ALLOWED to consider bi and lesbian to be separate identities - not even via marginalized individuals who use these contradictory labels because they may feel that best describes their experiences, but in General now, if you do not consider mspec attraction to be the ONLY valid and true way to be a lesbian, you are lesbiphobic! you must realize that because of "harmful exclusionism", we have to make it clear now that lesbians can be anything and anyone, men who are attracted to men, even! /s i genuinely wish more people would realize that not all exclusionism is harmful, especially within the lgbta+ community. yes, sometimes it is, but sometimes it's neutral, and in cases like these, it's necessary and beneficial - not just "gatekeeping."

"also, trans men are queer, so they can be lesbians because lesbians don't have to be women. queer men can be lesbians, and the trans identity is queer, so trans men can be lesbians. i know of several trans men who identify as lesbian."

this comment simply reeks of transphobia and nothing else. also, the fact that you "know trans men who identify as lesbians" is no justification or valid argument, so that was completely redundant and unnecessary to include.

it's not acceptable to say that anyone who is queer may identify as lesbian. if they mean the same thing, then why use the word lesbian at all? what does the term lesbian even mean if absolutely anyone of any background or identity can be it? it's not just a "feeling" - what does that "feeling" mean? "i feel so i am" completely erases what labels mean. i don't think radically-inclusive people hear themselves when they speak half the time, honestly - at least, i hope that's the case and not something worse, like them being completely aware of what they say.

the mod is right only when they said that lesbians don't have to be women. however, taking it that far was stretching it. nonbinary people are included in every sexuality but not every single nonbinary individual is. it's such a broad spectrum that you can't include everyone into everything - it's selective. some aligned people are okay with being included under certain types of attraction, some aren't. some unaligned people are okay with one type of gendered attraction but not others. some unaligned people are okay with any type of gendered attraction. but this logic doesn't work with "so male-aligned nonbinary people can be okay with falling under lesbian attraction too, right?" because the binary genders and their associated circles are mutually exclusive when talking about closed labels such as lesbian and (mlm) gay/cinthean.

you clearly understand how to separate one type of history from another, so why does that not apply for attraction?

anyway, this part isn't as important but if you're so focused on justifying bi lesbians with history, why are you so biased about it? this is an informative wiki; talking only about american history on a tumblr blog would be fine, but being so closed-off about the information you give on a site like this doesn't come across as a good move.

i guess i can't complain here too much because this is a private website where its administration can treat its outside contributors however they please. but speaking on a more morally-fair note, shutting any and all visible criticizors up for disagreeing with the administration team is straight-up childish and immature - and in this case, hypocritical, seeing as how the mod said "you don't have to like [how we run things]." it's a two-way street here.

i get blocking users who go out of their way to harass other users, no matter what it's about (second screenshot). but that's not the main focus here. blocking people who speak out on issues that affect them, namely lesbiphobia, contributes to silencing lesbians and it's disgusting behavior. i've been decently respectful throughout this entire post, but i'm sure if i posted it on the wiki i'd get blocked simply for its negative and critical nature, which is... allowed, i guess, but not cool at all.

edit 08.05.20: lazonline made a GREAT POINT in this post here that i’ve been unsure how to put into words for WEEKS about how the wiki heavily favors fighting biphobia over fighting lesbiphobia, if not actively encouraging it. they don’t care about lesbians AND bisexuals, ONLY bisexuals - i know this because one of the most (un)popular pages on the wiki is the semi-bisexual page, which is constantly (and rightfully so, don’t get me wrong!) put down and made fun of because it’s biphobic for... hmm... what reason again? oh yeah, right, non-bisexuals redefining what it means to be bisexual simply so that they can fit into a label that doesn’t belong to them - sound familiar much? but they have the exact opposite view on lesbians for some selfish careless reason. glad this was pointed out publicly, i really appreciate it. i’m also quite furious now at the hypocrisy.

Sksksksk so apparently im this close to losing my mind. So i found this picture while scrolling twitter (and honestly, the original point of this ask is just to show you this picture too ehe)

So I went to google to search for the actors name and went to Ikki profile at Kamen Rider Wiki fandom website (which didnt mention the actors name at all lmao) BUT I scroll down and find this under 'Weakness'

Revice Driver: Prolonged usage of the Revice Driver has the apparent side effect of slowly erasing the user's existence away, as shown with Ikki's image disappearing from various photographs of him and his family. Currently, Vice is the only one to have taken note of this, while the reasons behind this side effect have yet to be explained, nor is it known if even the Driver's creator is aware of this.

And Im like "??????" This is literally the worst possible information I ever got. I had read before that the reason Ikki's pic disappear bc its Kagerou's doing or whatever like that so I accept it. But this?????? If this actually true Im literally going to cry. (Then its makes me curious who actually put all the Riders information in the Wiki. Like how do they know?)

Ok finish with that, so I havent seen ep 10 yet but Ive seen a few short clips on twitter. Im super happy Daiji finally become Live (and I cant wait for Sakura turn 😆). In the clips, it show that Daiji still wearing Kagerou's outfits as he transformed. I was amazed at Daiji's actor bc even in Kagerou's outfits, I know that "Yup that is Daiji 🥺". Because you know how sometimes "same person different personality" depended a lot on outfits change but Daiji's actor could pull this off. Thats just so cool 😆

Yeah, Kentaro Maeda is a cutie. I believe this pic is a screenshot from the recent NHK Kamen Rider event, which he was guest on alongside Masahiro Inoue and Kouhei Takeda.

As for the whole thing about the Driver and the erasing existence thing... I think that’s pure conjecture at this point. I did look at Ikki’s article myself, and it doesn’t cite any sources whatsoever for that entire bit. The strengths/weaknesses portion of the Rider pages are a bit subjective to begin with, but this in particular is really iffy.

Kamen Rider Wiki is a good resource for Rider stuff, but it’s still a fan-produced wiki, and the site lets anyone who signs up post and edit the info on it. There are probably mods who check on the info and approve of whatever changes are made, but still, take whatever they say with a grain of salt especially when citations are lacking. Confirmed information will usually have citations, such as episode numbers, social media posts from cast and crew, page numbers from official guidebooks, magazine scans, etc. There is a plethora of Rider resources out there if you know where to look.

Daiji’s first henshin and fight as Live was pretty amazing. And yes, Wataru Hyuga is quite impressive as an actor and proved his chops playing both Daiji and Kagerou.

That’s actually quite rare these days- a lot of actors in recent KR and Sentai series are actually fairly new to the industry (like, the KR/Sentai show is their debut into showbiz new), so their acting isn’t always the best, though they do noticeably improve as the show goes on. Wataru being that good this early on is a good sign, not only for his performance in the show, but for his career afterward. Kid’s gonna go places, hopefully.

I can’t wait for Sakura to henshin... though I’m also worried because of the source of her Driver is iffy... I hope she has the same strength of character and spirit of justice as her brothers otherwise we’re in a world of trouble.

yesterday i had that thought that comes to me every week without fail

did loki actually kill balder or is that just bullshit?

because you see first of all snorre and the prose edda can go straight to hell, i put it in the garbage and thats where it shall stay, its a cool piece of writing but based on snorre being a politician and it being an attempt to make a whole belief system Make Sense (something a belief system should never do, just look how it worked out for christianity and ye ol schism) it has no worth to me

so we’re looking at the poetic edda here, a mess of a book if you’re looking for a bible (asatro edition) but its what we got so anyways i have my very annotated physical copy in swedish and i read through it (im not done, its the size of stephen kings It and im no good at reading, specially not some of the archaic shit this book has to offer me) and i notice that nowhere does it say that loki killed balder

so i go on wiki ca months ago and the english wiki cites two stanzas as proof that loki killed him because in the lokasenna he literally confesses to the crime! (st 28) 

now i thought that was weird as hell so i take out my translation and instead of saying “after all im the one who made it so that balder will never ride home again” it says “i will make it so youll never see your son in the hall” which isnt an admittion of guilt, its a threat! and freja in the very next line backs that up with “senseless are you loki who willingly brag about your evil intentions” so its not a thing hes done yet and lest i forget to mention but at the end of this story loki gets captured and put under snake torture for the rest of non-ragnarök

so anyways this is all shit ive said before but yesterday id had EnoughTM so i went to check on the icelandic source

1: i will never again trust icelandic people to make a wiki page, lokis page doesnt have a single reference or citation mark 2: i found on archive.org, the website that makes the internet redeemable, that the university of michigan had digitized the poetic edda in icelandic so i went to look at the appropriate bit

Rating 80′s Smurfs Dubs (based ENTIRELY on their voices for Brainy Smurf and Clumsy Smurf) Best to Worst

note- the different dialects(?) of chinese were originally labeled “chinese 1,” “chinese 2,” and “chinese 3″ because google translate called them all just “chinese.” i had to go on the smurfs wiki and look at what the series was called in other languages and then CTRL+C that, and then go to the channels page of les schtroumpfs youtube (that has the links to all the different language smurfs youtube channels) and CTRL+F CTRL+V. for all three of the chineses. google translate fix your shit so i dont have to do this please. pretty much all the other languages r based on what google translate said they were bc i dont have the energy to do any more of what i just did for chinese.

TL;DR of this post- Top three are Norwegian, English, and Romanian. Bottom three are Danish, Czech, and Latvian. Lots of others in between.

brainy adorable and funny, clumsys voice is so cute i want to cry it makes me want to pick him up and give him a littel kiss on the forehead. may be biased by the fact the first episode i watched in this language was "De aller beste smurfevenner" but.... oh my god.

English (Brainy and Clumsy)

classic. iconic. brainy nasally, emotional, and higher than clumsy; clumsy with a southern drawl (although other languages may have accents i just dont notice) and strange cadence.

Romanian (I can’t find these names on the Smurfs Wiki)

clumsy has a "village idiot" voice that has his strange high-low cadence and an adorable laugh, brainy has a nasally tone. this is the most accurate to the english, although romanian clumsy is mostly high pitched and occasionally slips into a low pitch, as opposed to english clumsy who's the other way around.

Taiwanese Mandarin (小聰明 and 小笨蛋)

brainy is a bit lower than i expected, but he sounds bossy and annoying; clumsy has the "village idiot" voice. very good.

Swedish (Glasögonsmurfen and Klunssmurfen)

brainy has the right amount of nasal tone to his and is emotional enough, clumsy lacks an accent but he has a cute laugh and it fits him well.

Portuguese (I can’t find these names on the Smurfs Wiki)

brainy is higher than clumsy and has his nasal tone. i cant really tell what's up with clumsy but its cute. they have just the right amount of emotion.

Croatian (Lumen and Trapavi)

brainy is high pitched and nasally, clumsy has a strange accent, both sound really good

brainy is high-pitched and nasally, clumsy is low pitched and has a "village idiot" voice. both voices are very good.

brainy sounds generic, but clumsy's low pitch and "village idiot" voice in general make him sound like a non-accented version of his english self. none of this gives off the strange vibes the basque voices do, and this would be rated much higher if it was just clumsy.

brainy is high pitched, fast, and nasally; but clumsy's voice leaves much to be desired.

brainy sounds like a little girl, and is very clearly voiced by a woman. a woman who does NOT give him a nasally or annoying voice. clumsy, meanwhile, has a very cute and fitting voice, sounding like his korean voice but with a slightly lower pitch and more of his strange cadence.

Polish (Ważniak and Ciamajda)

brainy sounds very good and the perfect amount of nasally, but clumsy is far too high pitched.

Cantonese (智多星 and 論盡仔)

why does this “chinese” dub mostly just have season 9? brainy is high pitched and nasally, but clumsy sounds generic.

Filipino (I can’t find these names on the Smurfs Wiki)

i'm not a fan of brainy's voice here, but he talks super fast, which makes me think of smurfs 2021 and how fast og french brainy talks in that. clumsy's voice is too high pitched, but he has a cute laugh and a strange cadence, and hearing him go "hello!" in english randomly was adorable.

Korean (똘똘이 스머프 and 주책이 스머프)

clumsy sounds adorable and he makes his weird little noises and i wanna hug him, but brainy's equally adorable and high-pitched voice makes it clear this is Just What Korean Smurfs Sound Like. i love it and i love them but they're not different enough to rank any higher. they're only this high bc they sound like little kids and its adorable.

Japanese (I can’t find these names on the Smurfs Wiki)

cute and adorable like korean, but just as generic. also, they only have Season 1, so i dont think the voice actors had gotten into their roles yet.

Greek (Σπιρτούλης and Σκουντούφλης)

brainy is high pitched and nasally, but a bit too high pitched; clumsy sounds strange and silly

German (Schlaubi and Clumsy)

both sound vaguely electronic...i dont think the mics were too good. brainy sounds like some sort of virtual assistant, clumsy seems to have some semblance of an accent and his voice is similar to his english one. this would be close to the top, but the mic quality is too bad.

Bosnian (I can’t find these names on the Smurfs Wiki)

clumsy and brainy sound like themselves but slightly to the left. it's odd.

Brazilian Portuguese (Gênio and Desastrado)

both are strangely high pitched, but brainy has his nasal tone, and clumsy is cute and does have a strange cadence to his voice.

Hungarian (Okoska and Ügyifogyi)

clumsy is too high pitched, brainy feels generic. however clumsy does sound cute.

Spanish (Filósofo and Tontín)

brainy weirdly high pitched, loud and screechy, and sounds like a gay muppet (edit: sounds like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B3NStJNUkYo); clumsy lower than brainy and has that nice honey buzz to his voice that he also has in english. the entirety of "El Monstruo De Las Cavernas" can basically be summed up as just brainy screaming "TONTIIIIIIIIINNN!!!" at the top of his lungs and it's hilarious.

Turkish (Gözlüklü and Sakar)

brainy's voice fits very well, and he has his nasal tone; clumsy sounds cute and sweet. but brainy's mic is so much louder than literally ever other character, it sounds like he's screeching everything he says. better fitting than spanish, but ranked lower because spanish is funnier.

Italian (Quattrocchi and Tontolone)

brainy is weirdly high pitched and sounds stereotypical, i have no clue what stereotype my mind is pinning that voice as, but it sounds like it's stereotypically SOMETHING. clumsy is kinda cute but i feel like italian clumsy and italian jokey should have swapped voices. also i wanna say i could not find the smurfette, or king smurf, or my smurfy valentine on this language's account. what i could find was l Mostro Di Cioccolines. having their adaption of the dark ness monster up but none of the other important episodes i was looking for is me-core.

Basque (I can’t find these names on the Smurfs Wiki)

both voices sound vaguely similar to the english versions, but clumsy lacks his strange cadence that he has in english, and basque being a language isolate means its hard to understand what's their voices and what's just the language. i don't know why else i put it this low, there's just some weird vibes that make this sound Wrong to me.

Icelandic (I can’t find these names on the Smurfs Wiki)

both voices sound generic, but clumsy does sound sweet and brainy does sound bossy, so they got at least a bit of the characters' vibes.

Lithuanian (I can’t find these names on the Smurfs Wiki)

this dub sucks but it's hilarious, all the voices are slightly delayed, you hear the english voice start to talk a second or two before the lithuanian one does. however, they did give brainy a nasally voice and clumsy a cute one, so it ranks above the other dubs of this quality

Bulgarian, Russian, Estonian (Russian is Благоразумник and Растяпа)

mic quality almost as bad as the germans, clumsy sounds very good and sweet but brainy has some of the worst mic quality in the entire dub. even having both "Mørke-monstret" and "De allerbedste Smølfevenner" on their channel cant save these voices- this was the first time ive willingly stopped watching a version of The Dark-Ness Monster before even getting to the good gay bits of the episode.

both have generic monotone voices and brainy is lower than clumsy. bad.

Well you’re sort of right. Captain Barnacles is my favorite character 100%, but the reason why I draw those two together so often is because the show has established that they are really good friends. 

Where ever the Captain is, Kwazii is usually nearby. Kwazii was the only one that knew about the Captains fear, Kwazii is the Octonauts lieutenant, which probably means that they spend a lot time around each other. They share a bed pod, they have had these little interactions that don’t happen with anyone else. Like fist bumps, shoulder pats etc.

They’re even used as an example of symbiosis in the crab and urchin episode! Now, you can interpret that how you’d like, but I believe the show is somewhat subtly trying to push the point that these two are best friends, like family even.

So when ever I draw Captain Barnacles, I always have an incentive to draw Kwazii with him. :}

Honestly by my headcannons, I feel like Kwazii would need it more than anyone else really. But yeah, the Captain could really use me a pick me up. XD

Well I may have needed more time to “relax”, but I just missed you guys too much lol.

Wow! That’s a lot of shows! I don’t recall really watching.. any of them.. any way uh- that aside, there are several shows I used to watch as a kid. Some weren’t meant for kids but were still funny to me.

For one, like I’m sure a lot of people did, I watched SpongeBob.

I also used to watch, of course, Octonauts. Although that was when I was a wee bit older.

I also used to watch The Three Stooges.. this one was for adults I think but it was still hilarious.

I also used to watch Beetle Baily, although this one was kind of like a once a year tradition type thing we did.

There may be one or two more but I don’t recall.. I mean, we did have one episode of speed racer that I watched over and over and over again. Or.. was it a movie? Heh, I uh, cant really recall..

I have watched both Octonauts movies and season 1-3 on Netflix. When it comes to season 4, so far I haven't had much trouble just finding it on YouTube.

When it comes to watching season 4 in order, just go to the episode wiki, find the names in order and keep searching on YouTube until you’re sure you’re on the right episode. Pretty sure you can find basically all the Octonauts episode this way, go ahead and give it a shot! Hope it works!

Suburban, A.T.Dragster, Green Truck, Escort, Vega, Red Van, Brown Suburban, Miata, AND Honda, most likely wouldn't really be interested and wouldn’t really have an opinion on the show, but they don't make fun of anyone who does watch it. No matter how old. Volvo specifically would respect the educational aspect of the show and most likely wouldn’t pick on anyone for watching it either.

U.M.Dragster would kind’a poke fun at the show and its imperfections. But low key is peeking around the corner wanting to know what the characters do next.

White Truck thinks it pretty cool and kind’a likes to watch it with others, but wont really go out of his way to watch it on his own.

Beluga would probably think its really cute, bet 10 bucks her favorite character is Kwazii.

Ranger would be hooked. She loves everything about Earths water and want’s to learn everything about it. Including the creatures that live in it. She would appreciate the show “dumbing everything down” for her, because she doesn’t know these basic things that kids know. Having everything “dumbed down” makes it easier for her to understand everything.

Jeepy’s driver used to make fun of me for watching it, but now he thinks it neat. So maybe he’d think its silly but eventually come around?

Hmmmm.... let me think.. I feel like my Transformer OCs would mostly like certain aspects of seasonal things, not one season and all of its aesthetics as a whole.

Suburban, Red Van, Escort, Brown Suburban and Green Truck love the bonfire part of colder weather. The warm, bright and surrounded by loved ones aspect of it is what they enjoy. Especially Brown Suburban. He loves bonfires man. The more light and heat the better, that poor mech is freezing his aft off out there in that old manky dark shed all by himself. He just wants to be around his loved ones where its warm and bright.

Miata would probably like pumpkin spice lattes, and just that aspect of fall. Beluga and Honda however would be all over fall and all its traditions. They’d be all over every season really, always up to date with trends and having fun.

The Dragsters are all about summer and its aesthetics. Summer is the prime time for dragstrips and the weather they function most efficiently in so they’re all for it.   

Vega is more about fall. Sure its not really racing weather, but he does like all the pretty colors and the temperature is just right for him.

White Truck would like summer the most. He’d like the attire, the swimming, the warmth, all of it. He’d function a little on the edge I’d think though, he does have a bit of an overheating issue.. but still, I think summers for the win.

Ranger would like summer. Summer = more fish in the water. She loves to look at fish and be out in the water and just explore everything. Summer is when most of the fish are around so she’d really enjoy that. When it comes to seasonal outfits and food? Meh, waters cooler.

Volvo doesn't care for any weather or aesthetics honestly. But would prefer fall for its cooler temperatures. Having so many layers of armor is bound to make you overheat eventually.

Jeepy would like the fall and winter most of all, because of MUD. Going slipin, driftin and slidin with Bash is a real hoot, so he’d really like those seasons. He’s just built for them you know? Plus he’d kill a man for a glass of eggnog so he likes that aspect of cooler seasons too. :}

Bash Buggy likes summer and spring for the temperatures mostly. He also likes winter and fall, but because of the mud, he doesn’t like them for any other reason. Just the mud and goofing around with Jeepy. Everything else about those cold seasons are terrible, and he cant even see all the pretty colors and aesthetics so what does it matter? His body has no insulation anymore so the cold just eats him up, and he cant go outside in the snow because of his blindness and the cold. So he’s stuck shivering indoors while his friends go goof around in the snow without him. Colder seasons suck besides mud, the warmer ones are a win.

I don’t know, it just kind’a makes me uncomfortable. Not all artists are the same, not all artists like that.

It kind of feels like stealing to me in a way, I just don’t like it..

I want to, but I am completely halted by the knowledge that these comics don’t get much traction. They only get a handful of notes when I post them, which just makes them feel like a waste of time.

I’m weird about time. I don't like talking about my interests with others because I know I’m wasting their time and they don’t care anyway.

I am heavily discouraged to draw things online, not just because people steal, but because only a handful of people truly care and get excited about them.

And I mean, a handful of lovely followers, is a handful lovely followers. But you can see how a people pleaser like me would drift towards what people want me to draw instead of what I want to draw.

And when it comes to what people want me to draw? Besides those lovely few, people don’t want to see my comics.
