Jen took Josh out to the Last Drip. She wanted for him to meet her big friends group.

He was a little hesitant as he wasn't exactly the coffee shop type, he was more of a whiskey guy.

They made their way in and put their orders in

The shop was pretty packed for a Saturday afternoon and Josh was visibly uncomfortable.

He still wasn't sold that this was a great idea, but he did want to meet her friends.

Fernando "Nando" and Itzel "Izzy"stopped over to say hi and meet Josh. Nando was a media manger consultant, he took classes with Jen's sister Tiffany but became friends with Jen. It was still intriguing to meet the mystery boyfriend. Jen talked about him all the time, it was nice to finally put a face with the name. Izzy asked how he liked Silverglint, she knew a couple people that worked in Human Resources and one that worked as a file clerk. Their experiences were worlds different. Josh liked the work he did there, though some of the project managers weren't great.

Josh was curious about what a media manager consultant does. Nando explained that they are hired to help companies cultivate their brand and public image in social media spaces. As a consultant they are usually brought in after a problem to do damage mitigation, once the problem is fixed, the day to day duties are turned back over to the in-house team. Josh thought it was a fascinating career path, how'd he end up in it? Nando laughed, "by accident, I was working for a company that had a community manager go rogue and start fighting with trolls. They let him go and put me in the roll. I walked in doing clean up and did it well enough another company hired me to do it full time. I'm not behind the keyboard anymore, now I'm dealing with bigger picture items. I still like what I'm doing though."

Jen went to get more coffee and Glenn stole her seat. He wasn't as friendly and Nando and Izzy. Glenn saw Jen as a little sister and gave Josh a stern warning about treating her poorly. Josh swore he wouldn't do anything to hurt her. Glenn wasn't convinced.

Jen came back and Glenn had to bounce, he gave Jen a smile as he made his way out. Izzy poked a bit, "Glenn never does that for me, you sure your dating the right guy?" Jen quipped "I think Caitlyn would have a problem with that" Izzy scrunched her nose and chuckled "I don't know, maybe she's down for that". Josh laughed and dipped his toe in the conversation "I can go chase him down, if you want to ask" Izzy laughed and shook her head.

Josh was getting along well with Izzy and Nando.

Jen left Josh to chat with them while she talked to Arnold. He hadn't been around lately and Jen was worried about him. Arnold had been in Mt. Komorebi for the World Skiing Championships, Wrightburg didn't have a good showing but it was a fun trip.

They had a great day and he thanked her for bringing him to meet her friends.

hey it's the anon who asked what dr*m did,

I decided to do my own research (mainly cause I was curious) but... I can't find much? let me rephrase it - I did find the allegations from 6ish months ago, that he's going to court with one(?) of them, but that's... all? I didn't find the court's verdict, confirmations, or him admitting either... and any post or video I find has both the OP and the comments mostly on his side and believing that it's either not true or true but not grooming, even people who say they're not his fans or don't even like him.

I never heard any details about court (prob for legal reasons) or a conviction either. All I know is there was screenshot proof from the victim that they talked, and Dr*m confirmed the screenshots were real but didn't say anything about other details. But those details literally can't be false if the screenshots & the shit said in them are true.

Anyway, as far as his other bullshit goes:

People found old kkk meme edits on his yt account through the wayback machine. More than once if I'm not mistaken

He has a history of defending himself using the r slur

He cheated "on accident" in a speedrun (the least important thing ever but everyone always brings it up)

He claimed he was going to donate all proceeds during pride month to lgbt+ charities & he'd do charity streams all month but never did

He defended himself about replying to haters, which would send thousands of his toxic stans after the person getting them doxxed/death threats/etc and he refused to address that it was irresponsible of him bc he was too entitled to immaturely clap back at the antis. Even other ccs, like B/itzel called him out about shit related to how he uses his platform irresponsibly & he unfollowed & shaded them like a bitch baby

The whole "accidental" copycat shit with QSMP/USMP and basically softcore stalking Q/uackity online.

His "apologies" for all of the above fucking sucked in multiple ways. And that's just 2021-Now shit I can remember off the top of my head, I lost my Twitter in May last year so now I get my info from people's posts about it on here or links to tweets.

Everyone largely suspects he spontaneously reignited d/smp lore & started the finale to cover up the groomer thing bc he has a history of doing smth "new and cool" every time he causes drama to divert attention and avoid accountability.

He's also suspected of suddenly rewriting the d/smp finale to paint his Irredeemable Abuser Villain Up Until The Last Stream as a sympathetic poor baby out of nowhere and wrote that his victim, c!Tommy apologized to him, which sends a HORRIBLE message about abusive relationships. T/ommy and T/ubbo have both subtly mentioned not liking the finale and that Dr*m had AWFUL communication during the last like 6+ months of the smp.

He also suddenly showed up in T/ubbo's chat lurking while T/ubbo happened to be mentioning he'd do his own research on the grooming situation instead of blindly siding with Dr*m and it was some shit out of a horror movie is2g, he suddenly dmed T/ubbo out of nowhere during it on discord saying they'd talk about it after T/ubbo wasn't streaming. Basically sounds like he was gonna bias T/ubbo about his innocence. Like he hadn't been in chat all stream long but SUDDENLY he was there the second the topic came up. But the d/smp ccs also can't say anything about the situation since it's a legal matter, so a handful of ccs have just stated/implied they don't support him other ways

He only quit MCC bc he threw a tantrum about how he couldn't practice for it but now that MCC island exists, people were getting better than him. He's habitually a sore loser about that kinda shit

He's got that whole weird "is he, isn't he" bullshit going on about him being lgbt. I personally think he's just catering to his stupid d/n/f shippers bc they like to truth their relationship & sexuality all the time and he's never explicitly said he's bi or smth. He's just vaguely been like "yeeeaahhhh I mostly like girls like 99% but maaaayyybeee I like guys idkkkk. 🤪" But he's also done that multiple times so who tf knows. I'm not gonna fully dismiss him & I understand no one including me is entitled to his specific sexuality, but he has garbage credibility on like everything so I'm neutral on the matter and find it hard to believe him

Not directly him related, but his stans went on a long and horrifying witch hunt on Twitter during the kkk ordeal doxxing, death threatening & harassing ENTIRE mcyt subtwts who spoke out against him and called him out on his racism, performative activism, shitty apology, etc. For example, I was part of S/neeg's subtwt and all my mutuals and me had to go private to avoid getting doxxed. It felt like being raided in some dystopian ass horror film. Entire subtwts were going private, panicking, paranoid they'd get outed & stalked & harassed by people just for condemning racism, raising Black voices, etc. It was borderline traumatic to some people, I know people who lost sleep over it bc they were so afraid.

That's all I can think of off the top of my head but the end of 2021 to early 2022 was a fucking nightmare between him being an immature entitled piece of shit and his stans blindly defending him and going out of their way to endanger people who rightfully opposed him.

Hey there guys, it’s Itzel!!! So I got a mini update… I ordered my laptop just earlier and it’ll hopefully be arriving before end of the month, yippee :D!!! As well as some other stuff like a cover for the laptop, a case for my iPad, and a usb hard drive. I’m really hoping I could save the data from my old laptop so I bought one. But yeah, even if not, I’ll still be able to start streaming and working on bigger uploads again by beginning of March!!! WOOOOO!!! Thank you all who have shared and donated to the GoFundMe!!! Because of you guys, I’m able to pay for equipment!!!

Cause while we have reached a lot, there’s still 2 and a half months till I take it down and we still need $189 before reaching the goal. Lastly, I wanna talk about the sub goal I had… I am still aiming for that, 1,000 subscribers by sometime in early April and I will do a Q&A face reveal that I’ll post on April 11th, aka the 7 year anniversary of Kawaiipony Productions and my 18th birthday!!! Chill Tangled Depths map completion on EU servers! Now with date!

The poll's been closed, we got a date and time!

What will happen?

100% map completion in Tangled Depths!

No mounts required.

No prior waypoint unlocks required.

Itzel Lore IV: Itzel Poison mastery required for 100% completion, but you can still participate if you don't have the mastery.

I will probably get lost at some point. Apologies in advance.

When will it happen?

On Sunday, 04.12.2022 at 16:00 CET (GMT+1).

Make sure to get the right time for your own timezone! (This is 14 minutes after the Chak Gerent meta event ends. I'll try to progress the Rata Novus event chain far enough for the city defenses to be deactivated before we start. Don't want to have to deal with that while we pass through. And then pray we aren't forced to switch map instances.)

How to join?

Type /squadjoin Neljje in chat or /whisper Neljje should you encounter any problems joining.

I will not be listing the squad in LFG, but it will be open to join for everyone via chat command, and invites will be open as well. My tag will be visible to squad members only. I'll open the squad 30 minutes before we start.

We start near the Order of Whispers Camp waypoint [&BA4IAAA=]. This is the first waypoint you automatically unlock when you enter Tangled Depths from Auric Basin.

Date and time votes were relatively even but we got a winner in the end. I hope many of you will be able to attend at the time!

Never say never! I can't make promises of course but I'm always down to clown in TD :D Even if it's not another planned group event, if you ever need help completing the map don't hesitate to hit me up here on tumblr or ingame and maybe we can work something out.

You can still join, you'll just be missing two points by the end. You won't get lost on the route and we won't move on without you, I'll just have to ask you to wait for a moment while we hop into the poisoned area, grab the two points there and come back to where you're waiting. We won't be moving on to a new area through the poison.

FAQ (with questions nobody actually asked):

What exactly is "chill" map completion?

No optimized speed routes, no rushing, we make sure we stay together as a group so noone feels like they might get lost or can't keep up. For the route itself I deliberately chose a few "whacky" ways over the "fast options", just because I think it might be more interesting. A scenic tour through the jungle, if you will. See as much of the map as possible during completion without making entirely pointless detours.

If anyone wants to watch the vista cutscenes, I would like to ask that people are patient and wait.

So, no mounts...

Obviously I will not hold you at gun point not to use any mount under any circumstances, but I do ask noone rushes ahead so we don't get sprinkled all over the map. That's how people get lost. I personally will not be using mounts, unless it is to pick up / help people (turtle passenger seat etc). Or I fall. You know. That happens. Ahem.

I don't feel confident in my platforming/jumping abilities / I'm scared I won't be able to keep up.

If you ever struggle with gliding or any jumping passage, and you can't use any mount to make it easier for you, please do not be embarassed to ask for help! I'll try my best to either get you through this in the turtle mount or grab my mesmer and portal you through the passage. No questions asked. We're all here to have fun!

That said, while this is a HoT map and therefore we do have some gliding and jumping passages that are unavoidable*, most of the way is just walking. So please don't be too intimidated! I'll tell you upfront, the start of the route is probably by far the worst and most chaotic part. I apologize for that.

*(different routes have different possibilities of course, but I tried to keep a balance between interesting ways, minimal backtracking and staying on the intended paths)

Help! I lost the group and don't know how to get back to you. Real Tangled Depths moment.

Stop moving. Tell us roughly where you are. I think by now I'm fairly competent trying to decipher where people are lost. I'll come and pick you up. Alternatively I'll have to point you to the nearest waypoint we unlocked and grab you from there. (Look I know this sounds like a silly point to make but believe me I've had this happen more than once.)

And lastly... for the really interested (you do NOT have to understand this, don't worry), that's the rough plan if all goes well:

If people are still up for it once we're done I may have a little something planned for the end (nothing spectacular) to conclude the tour in a special place that not everyone might have seen before. Depends on how we're all feeling and if the map events are playing along.

God I just love the idea of Bertie and Syrryl finally getting the beach vacation they deserve, Bertie laying in his stomach on a towel flipping through the Tyrian equivalent of National Geographic while Syrryl sits next to him in a beach chair in a Hawaiian flowered shirt, rifle cradled in one arm, sipping a virgin margarita as he watches the waves. Bertie gets really excited about the treasure hunts, finally getting a chance to use his Priory training again, running up and down the beach with a shovel. Syrryl gets a chance to brush up on his Hylek dialects by chatting with the Itzel and the Nuhoch vendors and even gets them a good deal or two. They ride up to the top of one of the pillars to watch the sun set on Bertie’s skyscale, Syrryl riding behind Bertie holding onto him, the way they once rode Aurene through the Mists. They share a quiet moment alone just the two of them. It’s not a first kiss, not yet but there’s a moment where the vision of the possibility of a kiss flashes through Syrryl’s predictive monocle and he blushes so hard Bertie asks him if he got sunburnt and Syrryl doesn’t reply but takes Bertie’s hand and squeezes it instead. And they end the day tired and happy and the most relaxed they’ve been in years and a little sunburnt too. Just they’re somewhere they can be somewhat anonymous for once among all the traders and travelers and tourists, just two asura enjoying the beach and each other’s quiet company

Recently got to do some subtle photo-manipulation to showcase a new point in Indi’s development in LWS5, right at the end of Shadow in the Ice.

While Tal's out of commission, Indi and Aurene are both working in tandem to heal him and stand vigil until he comes to. They are both there a long while, and both worried, and so they chat... 

Aurene having seemingly inherited her mother's telepathy would have no trouble understanding Indi, and would thus also be privy to her frustrations with how difficult it can be to try to be a part of plans when she can't articulate well enough to be heard. Everyone at Still Waters Speaking kept asking if people's voices were their own. Isn't it time her voice was her own as well? 

Aurene remembers this feeling personally, and wants to help. And, in exchange, Indi can now be Aurene’s eyes and ears wherever her champion goes. Someone Aurene knows to care as deeply about him as she does, if not more. And who can relay more clearly to him and the others for her if anything new comes to light.

While we have a lot left that we’re still figuring out about how the Hope’s Legacy crew react and interact during the Icebrood Saga events, we do know Indi becomes a much bigger strategist from this moment out. She also gets to enjoy the adjustment period for those around her while many who had (sometimes unintentionally) written off “the girl who doesn’t say much” get to come to the rapid understanding of what a spitfire she truly is.  (Needless to say, she and Gaeren bond even more, and she quickly becomes exceedingly adept at making Tal blush) Additional note: She speaks with an Itzel accent!
