Things are going well with the "leaser." She gives Amba good workouts even if she can't come too often. Amba continues to make slow by steady progress. I am a bit nervous because this is the last week of the Marquis medication. I've bumped her vitamin e up to 10,000 ius day. I think the vet is right in that the amount is unnecessary for a horse her size, but since it's still not toxic in that amount I just want to try and see if it helps her. I don't love that she still got EPM after attempting to boost her immune system with vitamin e+se+mg, additional vitamin e, Jing tang herbals, and probiotics. It makes me think she still had or has some underlying health issue.

Managing IBS After a Stressful Period and Gallbladder Removal: The Power of Supplements and nature
Living with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) can be challenging, especially after experiencing a long and stressful period in life, coupled with the removal of the gallbladder. It took me two years to finally start managing the flare ups that have become my daily struggle in the past two years since i had my surgery. However, there is hope in managing IBS symptoms and finding relief. In this blog post, I will explore the benefits of specific supplements, such as omega-3, zinc, B-complex, B1, vitamin D, and magnesium citrate, and how they can help alleviate IBS flare-ups over time.
Omega-3 fatty acids are essential for overall health and have been found to have anti-inflammatory properties. In the context of IBS, omega-3 can help reduce inflammation in the gut, which is often associated with flare-ups. Incorporating omega-3 supplements into your daily routine can potentially improve IBS symptoms, such as abdominal pain, bloating, and diarrhea. Adding the omega in my supplement routine made a huge difference in my overall health. My gut is happy.
Zinc is a vital mineral that plays a crucial role in various bodily functions, including digestion and immune system support. Studies have shown that individuals with IBS may have lower zinc levels, which can contribute to worsened symptoms. By supplementing with zinc, you can potentially restore the balance and alleviate IBS-related discomfort. The pharmacist suggested it to me several months ago calling it the supplement of the future. It helps with the healing and inflammation and enhances the benefits the other supplements are providing.
B vitamins, particularly B-complex, are essential for maintaining optimal gut health. These vitamins help convert food into energy, support the nervous system, and aid in the production of healthy red blood cells. When it comes to IBS, B-complex vitamins can help regulate digestion, reduce stress, and improve overall gut function. The one bellow I found to be the best.
B1, also known as thiamine, vitamin B1 is a crucial nutrient that supports the nervous system and helps convert carbohydrates into energy. In the context of IBS, B1 can help alleviate symptoms such as fatigue, brain fog, and digestive issues. By supplementing with B1, individuals may experience improved energy levels and reduced IBS-related discomfort. It is also very effective if you are diagnosed with SIBO.
Vitamin D is not only essential for bone health but also plays a role in immune function and inflammation regulation. Studies have suggested a potential link between vitamin D deficiency and IBS symptoms. By ensuring adequate vitamin D levels through supplementation, individuals may experience reduced inflammation and improved IBS symptoms. My doctor measured my vitaamin D levels which were a bit on the low side and supplemented me with 5000u of vitamin D.
Magnesium is a mineral that plays a vital role in muscle relaxation and nerve function. In the context of IBS, magnesium citrate can help alleviate constipation, a common symptom experienced by individuals with IBS. By promoting regular bowel movements, magnesium citrate can provide relief and improve overall gut function. The Magnesium Citrate is gentle on the stomach lining and thats why this is the one that is recommended.
Digestive enzymes play a crucial role in our overall digestive health. These enzymes are responsible for breaking down the food we eat into smaller, more easily absorbable molecules that our body can utilize for energy and nourishment. Without sufficient digestive enzymes, our body may struggle to properly digest and absorb nutrients, leading to various digestive issues.
Digestive enzymes can help alleviate the symptoms of IBS by aiding in the breakdown of food and improving digestion. They can help break down complex carbohydrates, proteins, and fats, reducing the strain on the digestive system and minimizing discomfort. Additionally, digestive enzymes can enhance nutrient absorption, ensuring that the body receives the necessary vitamins, minerals, and other essential nutrients.
There are different types of digestive enzymes, each targeting specific types of food molecules. For example, amylase helps break down carbohydrates, protease aids in protein digestion, and lipase assists in the breakdown of fats. By supplementing with these enzymes, individuals with IBS can support their digestive system and control the flare ups.
In addition to incorporating digestive enzymes there are also benefit from making dietary and lifestyle changes. This may include following a low-FODMAP diet, which eliminates certain types of carbohydrates that can trigger IBS symptoms. Regular exercise, stress management techniques, and adequate hydration are also important for maintaining a healthy digestive system.
In conclusion, digestive enzymes play a vital role in supporting digestive health, and they can be particularly beneficial for individuals with IBS. By aiding in the breakdown of food and improving nutrient absorption, digestive enzymes can help alleviate symptoms and improve overall well-being. However, it’s essential to work with a healthcare professional to determine the appropriate use and dosage of digestive enzymes, as part of a comprehensive treatment plan for IBS.
Psyllium is a soluble fiber derived from the seeds of the Plantago ovata plant. It is commonly used as a dietary supplement and is known for its ability to promote regular bowel movements and relieve constipation. In the context of IBS, psyllium can help regulate bowel movements, reduce diarrhea, and alleviate abdominal discomfort. The fiber in psyllium absorbs water in the intestines, adding bulk to the stool and promoting healthy digestion. Additionally, psyllium can help regulate gut motility and improve overall gut health, which can be beneficial for individuals with IBS.
Managing IBS after a long stressful period and gallbladder removal can be challenging, but incorporating specific supplements into your daily routine can make a significant difference. Omega-3, zinc, B-complex, B1, vitamin D, and magnesium citrate all offer potential benefits in alleviating IBS symptoms over time. However, it is important to consult with a healthcare professional before starting any new supplement regimen to ensure it is safe and suitable for your individual needs. Remember, finding relief from IBS is a journey, and with the right approach, you can regain control of your digestive health and improve your overall well-being.
Remember, managing IBS requires a comprehensive approach that may include dietary modifications, stress management, and other lifestyle changes in addition to potential supplements or treatments.
Good luck.🪷

What did we learn today fuckers?
Don’t give your child 50,000 IU (1.25 mg) of vitamin D when he has not previously been worked up to that amount. He will throw up.
It was me. I was the child. Fml. I missed school for no fucking reason.

"Unprintworthy" redirects are redirect pages on Wikipedia that aid online navigation, but would have little or no value as pointers to target articles in a hard-copy book. The name of a redirect may be unprintworthy for a number of reasons, including being nearly identical to the name of the target page, containing typographical errors, or not being encyclopaedic. Redirects are not unprintworthy just because the name may be offensive to some, unless the name is also not encyclopaedic.

“Tori Roe” 38 (Taiwan 2003)
In 2005, an article was published in a medical journal documenting the death of an abortion client in 2003. The death occurred in Taiwan, where overly permissive abortion laws have led to deaths from “safe and legal” abortion since 1985. The pseudonym “Tori Roe” was later given by a researcher.
Tori was 38 years old and 5 weeks pregnant. She had a history of occasional hypertension, but her medical history noted that her blood pressure was usually normal while she was pregnant. She didn’t have regular treatment for the hypertension and for the most part it did not seem to interfere with her daily life.
To assess the risks of anesthesia in an elective procedure, the hospital had Tori see a cardiologist. Her blood pressure was 160/100 but her EKG was normal.
4 days after the trip to the cardiologist, Tori underwent a D&C abortion at 5 weeks pregnant. To control her blood pressure, she was given verapamil (Isoptin SR, 240 mg/day; Knoll) and valsartan (Diovan, 80 mg/day; Novartis). The abortionist apparently didn’t check her medical history and ordered an intravenous injection of 0.2 mg methylergonovine and 10 IU intramuscular oxytocin. This negligence would cost Tori her life.
The abortion took about 10 minutes. 5 minutes after it was over, Tori was awake but suffering from chest pain. Then she became completely unresponsive and went into cardiac arrest. After 70 minutes of vigorous resuscitation attempts, Tori was declared dead. An autopsy revealed myocardial infarction. Thanks to the negligence of an abortionist, she was now also the first recorded death associated with the use of methylergonovine.
The study noted, “This case demonstrates the need for a judicious use of ergot alkaloids, especially in women at risk of coronary artery disease. Physicians should be alert to this rare but potentially life-threatening complication.”

Nuyate, the Complete Grammar Guide (WIP)
The Language of the Clans was one of the languages nearly completely destroyed after the Great Connection event. Although everyone knows that it once existed and there are some clan artifacts still written in the old tongue, nowadays, the clans have come to the point where only the medics can speak the language fluently. It’s said that during the Dawn of the Clans, the medics accessing the Moonstone were able to speak to their eldest ancestors who still knew the language.
Although it was saddening that most of their clan had lost their language, the Ancients made the medics swear not to teach the rest of their clan the language as the reason for the fall was because of the violence and lack of empathy between species, so the Ancient Tongue would be kept between the medics and sometimes, the leaders.
When you speak to the clans, assume that only the medics speak their own tongue fluently while the rest of the clan mostly only has sparse words that were commonly used enough that they resisted the wipe.

Part 3: Noun Cases
---
The Old Language of the clans have four noun cases - Nominative, Accusative, Ablative and Allative cases.
Nominative (n/a): The nominative is the agent of the sentence the one committing and performing actions against others - being that this being is often the topic of the sentence, it’s also the one most frequently left unmarked.
Accusative (-(a)yen): The accusative is the one having things done to them - they’re the object that’s affected by the nominative.
Ablative (-(a)len): The ablative case is motion away from something - such as running, walking or turning. It’s also used as a spawning case - when it was still being spoken, this case was used most frequently in daily life for names.
Allative (-(a)wen): The allative case is for motion towards something - it’s the opposite of the ablative case and means something like -ward.

Example Sentences
Ba keme run ba dakeyen - The cat bites the dog
Ba keme kulan ba suyawen - The cat runs towards the sun/sunward
Ba keme kulan ba suyalen - The cat runs away from the sun

Part 4: Grammatical Number
---
Nuyate keeps everything straightforward regarding grammatical gender - there’s only a singular/plural distinction.
Singular (n/a) - Is when there’s only one of a thing and always left bare.
Plural (d(o) - Is when there’s more than one of a noun.
Example: Keme (cat) vs Dokeme (cats)

Part 5: Tense and Aspect
---
The tenses of Nuyate is where we get slightly more complex - they have a past, distant past, present and future tense which are all fused with their aspects - perfective and imperfective.

Here's an example using the word "kuls" meaning, "to run."

Part 7: Pronouns
---
Nuyate like Asitatu has a set of dependent and independent pronouns that can be attached to verbs. The independent ones are as follows;
Tumblr media
And the dependent set are as follows;
Tumblr media
As you can see, the pronouns of Nuyate are actually fairly simple. A very easy singular/plural divide that follows through the entire chart with the hardest bit being that the first-person plural has an inclusive/exclusive division. Here’s what the dependents look like in practice;
Mouvanuki - I’m sick | Er uvanuki - I am sick
Souvanuki - You are sick | Ser uvanuki - You are sick
Nouvanuki - They’re sick | Ono uvanuki - They are sick
Wauvanuki - We (incl. you) are sick | Wan uvanuki - We (incl) are sick
Kheuvanuki - We (excl. you) are sick | Ukhe uvanuki - We (excl) are sick
Tovuvanuki - You’re all sick | Tov uvanuki - You are all sick
Zauvanuki - They’re all sick | Iza uvanuki - They are all sick
Tumblr media
Now when it comes to possessive pronouns, like the skulks the clan had a sense of alienability. You should know that what is and isn’t alienable can vary from clan to clan. For example in ThunderClan; all family is spoken as inalienable nouns while in ShadowClan, a mother can be referred to with alienability while a father is inalienable.
The suffix -ikh is the marker an inalienable noun.
Alienable -> Sor imel - your mouse Inalienable -> Sorikh kemesu - your child

Manusia Super Terlupakan Well BELL!
Laboratorium akhirnya resmi dibuka.
"Lagi cari apa Ayisa?"

What Vitamins Should Diabetics Avoid?
Vitamins and minerals play an essential role in maintaining overall health, and many people, including those with diabetes, take dietary supplements to ensure they meet their nutritional needs. However, not all supplements are beneficial for everyone, and some vitamins may pose risks for people with diabetes. Understanding which vitamins to avoid or use cautiously is crucial for maintaining optimal health and blood sugar control.
This comprehensive guide discusses vitamins and supplements that diabetics should avoid or be cautious about, considering potential interactions with medications, effects on blood sugar levels, and other health implications.
1. Vitamin B3 (Niacin)
Why Diabetics Should Avoid or Be Cautious:
Niacin, also known as vitamin B3, is a water-soluble vitamin that plays a role in converting food into energy. It is often used to lower cholesterol levels, but for diabetics, niacin can raise blood sugar levels and worsen insulin resistance.
How It Affects Blood Sugar:
Niacin can interfere with glucose metabolism by increasing insulin resistance, causing blood sugar levels to rise. Some studies have shown that high doses of niacin can increase fasting blood glucose levels and HbA1c, which is a measure of long-term blood sugar control.
Recommendation:
Diabetics should avoid high-dose niacin supplements, especially those above 500 mg per day, unless prescribed by a healthcare professional for specific conditions like high cholesterol. If niacin is necessary, regular monitoring of blood glucose levels is advised.
2. Vitamin E
Why Diabetics Should Avoid or Be Cautious:
Vitamin E is a fat-soluble antioxidant that protects cells from damage caused by free radicals. While some studies suggest that vitamin E can help reduce oxidative stress in diabetics, high doses of vitamin E may increase the risk of cardiovascular problems and interact with diabetes medications.
How It Affects Blood Sugar:
Although vitamin E is not directly linked to raising blood sugar levels, high doses (above 400 IU per day) may affect blood clotting and interact with medications like blood thinners (e.g., warfarin) commonly used by people with diabetes.
Recommendation:
Diabetics should avoid taking high doses of vitamin E without medical supervision. A daily intake of around 15 mg (22.4 IU) from food sources is generally considered safe. If supplementation is needed, it should be within the recommended daily allowance (RDA) and under the guidance of a healthcare provider.
3. Vitamin K
Why Diabetics Should Avoid or Be Cautious:
Vitamin K is essential for blood clotting and bone health. However, it can interact with certain medications that are commonly prescribed to diabetics, such as blood thinners (e.g., warfarin). Vitamin K can reduce the effectiveness of these medications, increasing the risk of blood clots.
How It Affects Blood Sugar:
Vitamin K does not directly affect blood sugar levels, but it can interfere with anticoagulant therapy, which is often necessary for diabetics who are at increased risk for cardiovascular diseases.
Recommendation:
Diabetics on blood thinners should avoid taking high doses of vitamin K supplements and should maintain a consistent intake of vitamin K from food sources. Sudden changes in dietary vitamin K can affect the effectiveness of blood-thinning medications. It is crucial to consult a healthcare provider before making any changes to vitamin K intake.
4. Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine)
Why Diabetics Should Avoid or Be Cautious:
Vitamin B6, also known as pyridoxine, is a water-soluble vitamin involved in numerous bodily functions, including amino acid metabolism and neurotransmitter synthesis. While it is vital for health, excessive intake of vitamin B6 can cause nerve damage (neuropathy), which is already a common complication in people with diabetes.
How It Affects Blood Sugar:
High doses of vitamin B6 have not been shown to directly impact blood sugar levels, but they can exacerbate neuropathy symptoms in diabetics, particularly those who already have nerve damage due to poorly controlled diabetes.
Recommendation:
Diabetics should avoid high-dose vitamin B6 supplements (above 100 mg per day) unless prescribed by a healthcare provider. The RDA for vitamin B6 is 1.3-2.0 mg per day, depending on age and gender. It is advisable to get this vitamin from a balanced diet rather than supplements.
5. Vitamin A
Why Diabetics Should Avoid or Be Cautious:
Vitamin A is a fat-soluble vitamin essential for vision, immune function, and cell growth. However, high doses of vitamin A supplements can lead to toxicity, causing symptoms such as dizziness, nausea, and even liver damage. Diabetics are particularly at risk because they may have preexisting liver complications.
How It Affects Blood Sugar:
Vitamin A does not directly affect blood sugar levels. However, excessive intake can lead to other health complications, such as liver damage, which can indirectly affect overall health and diabetes management.
Recommendation:
Diabetics should avoid taking high doses of vitamin A supplements (above 10,000 IU per day) unless prescribed by a healthcare provider. The RDA for vitamin A is 700-900 mcg (2,333-3,000 IU) per day for adults. It is advisable to get vitamin A from natural food sources such as leafy greens, carrots, and sweet potatoes.
6. Calcium
Why Diabetics Should Avoid or Be Cautious:
Calcium is essential for bone health and muscle function. However, excessive calcium supplementation can increase the risk of cardiovascular disease, particularly in diabetics who already have an elevated risk of heart problems.
How It Affects Blood Sugar:
Calcium does not directly impact blood sugar levels, but high doses (above 2,000 mg per day) can contribute to the calcification of arteries and increase the risk of heart disease, a common complication in people with diabetes.
Recommendation:
Diabetics should avoid excessive calcium supplementation and aim for the RDA of 1,000-1,200 mg per day, primarily from dietary sources like dairy products, leafy greens, and fortified foods. Calcium supplements should only be taken under medical supervision.
7. Vitamin C
Why Diabetics Should Avoid or Be Cautious:
Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant that helps protect cells from damage and supports the immune system. However, high doses of vitamin C can interfere with certain diabetes medications and cause false readings on blood glucose monitors.
How It Affects Blood Sugar:
High doses of vitamin C (above 1,000 mg per day) can cause inaccurate blood sugar readings, making it challenging for diabetics to manage their condition effectively. Some studies have suggested that excessive vitamin C may lead to the formation of oxalate, which can increase the risk of kidney stones, particularly in those with diabetes.
Recommendation:
Diabetics should avoid taking high doses of vitamin C supplements and aim for the RDA of 75-90 mg per day from natural food sources like citrus fruits, berries, and bell peppers. If supplementation is necessary, it should be within the safe limit and monitored by a healthcare provider.
8. Vitamin D
Why Diabetics Should Avoid or Be Cautious:
Vitamin D is crucial for bone health, immune function, and insulin sensitivity. While vitamin D deficiency is common in diabetics, high doses of vitamin D can lead to toxicity, causing symptoms like nausea, vomiting, weakness, and kidney problems.
How It Affects Blood Sugar:
Excessive vitamin D supplementation does not directly affect blood sugar levels, but it can lead to hypercalcemia (high levels of calcium in the blood), which can cause health complications, especially in diabetics with kidney issues.
Recommendation:
Diabetics should avoid taking high doses of vitamin D supplements (above 4,000 IU per day) without medical supervision. The RDA for vitamin D is 600-800 IU per day, depending on age. Regular monitoring of vitamin D levels and consulting a healthcare provider before taking supplements is essential.
9. Iron
Why Diabetics Should Avoid or Be Cautious:
Iron is a mineral essential for the formation of red blood cells and oxygen transport. However, excess iron can accumulate in the body and lead to conditions such as hemochromatosis (iron overload), which can damage the liver, heart, and other organs.
How It Affects Blood Sugar:
Excess iron does not directly impact blood sugar levels but can cause oxidative stress and inflammation, which are linked to insulin resistance and complications associated with diabetes.
Recommendation:
Diabetics should avoid iron supplements unless they have a diagnosed iron deficiency. It is best to get iron from dietary sources like lean meats, beans, and leafy greens, and to consult with a healthcare provider before taking any iron supplements.
10. Folic Acid (Vitamin B9)
Why Diabetics Should Avoid or Be Cautious:
Folic acid, a synthetic form of folate (vitamin B9), is essential for cell growth and DNA synthesis. While folic acid is generally considered safe, excessive intake can mask a vitamin B12 deficiency, which can cause neurological problems. This is particularly concerning for diabetics who may already have neuropathy.
How It Affects Blood Sugar:
Folic acid does not directly affect blood sugar levels, but it can complicate the diagnosis of vitamin B12 deficiency, which is crucial for maintaining nerve health in diabetics.
Recommendation:
Diabetics should avoid taking high doses of folic acid supplements (above 1,000 mcg per day) unless prescribed by a healthcare provider. The RDA for folate is 400 mcg per day for adults. It is advisable to get folate from dietary sources like leafy greens, beans, and fortified cereals.
11. Selenium
Why Diabetics Should Avoid or Be Cautious:
Selenium is a trace mineral with antioxidant properties that help protect cells from damage. However, high levels of selenium can lead to toxicity, causing symptoms such as hair loss, nail brittleness, and neurological problems.
How It Affects Blood Sugar:
Excessive selenium does not directly impact blood sugar levels but can lead to other health issues that may complicate diabetes management.
Recommendation:
Diabetics should avoid high-dose selenium supplements (above 200 mcg per day) unless recommended by a healthcare provider. The RDA for selenium is 55 mcg per day for adults. It is best to obtain selenium from natural food sources such as Brazil nuts, seafood, and whole grains.
12. Copper
Why Diabetics Should Avoid or Be Cautious:
Copper is a trace mineral involved in many physiological processes, including the formation of red blood cells and maintaining healthy nerves and bones. However, excess copper can lead to toxicity, causing liver damage, neurological problems, and increased oxidative stress.
How It Affects Blood Sugar:
Excess copper does not directly affect blood sugar levels but can exacerbate oxidative stress and inflammation, which can worsen insulin resistance in diabetics.
Recommendation:
Diabetics should avoid high-dose copper supplements (above 10 mg per day) and aim for the RDA of 900 mcg per day from dietary sources like nuts, seeds, and shellfish. Copper supplements should only be taken under medical supervision.
13. Zinc
Why Diabetics Should Avoid or Be Cautious:
Zinc is an essential mineral that plays a role in immune function, wound healing, and DNA synthesis. While zinc deficiency is common in diabetics, high doses of zinc supplements can interfere with copper absorption and lead to imbalances that may affect overall health.
How It Affects Blood Sugar:
Excessive zinc intake does not directly impact blood sugar levels but can cause deficiencies in other minerals, such as copper, which are crucial for overall health.
Recommendation:
Diabetics should avoid taking high doses of zinc supplements (above 40 mg per day) unless prescribed by a healthcare provider. The RDA for zinc is 8-11 mg per day for adults. It is best to get zinc from natural food sources like meat, shellfish, and legumes.
14. Manganese
Why Diabetics Should Avoid or Be Cautious:
Manganese is a trace mineral that plays a role in bone formation, blood clotting, and antioxidant function. However, excessive manganese intake can lead to toxicity, particularly in individuals with impaired liver function, a condition that is not uncommon in diabetics.
How It Affects Blood Sugar:
Manganese does not directly affect blood sugar levels, but high levels can lead to neurological symptoms and exacerbate complications in people with diabetes.
Recommendation:
Diabetics should avoid high-dose manganese supplements (above 11 mg per day) unless recommended by a healthcare provider. The RDA for manganese is 1.8-2.3 mg per day. It is advisable to get manganese from dietary sources like nuts, seeds, and whole grains.
Conclusion
While vitamins and minerals are essential for overall health, people with diabetes need to be cautious about their intake of certain supplements. High doses of some vitamins and minerals can interfere with diabetes medications, worsen blood sugar control, or increase the risk of complications associated with diabetes. It is always important to consult a healthcare provider before starting any new supplement regimen to ensure safety and efficacy.
By being mindful of which supplements to avoid or use cautiously, diabetics can take a proactive approach to manage their condition and maintain optimal health.
